  • Returning Star Added To WrestleMania Commercial After Survivor Series

Liv Morgan is back in the WrestleMania picture.

WWE had released the women\’s version of the WrestleMania 42 promo ahead of Survivor Series. It featured names such as Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Jade Cargill, IYO SKY, and Rhea Ripley.

In the voiceover, Triple H had teased more names being added to this table and atleast one of them was revealed during the latest WWE PLE. The Survivor Series: WarGames PPV saw John Cena defending the IC title against Dominik Mysterio in a chaotic match.

Judgment Day names such as Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh tried to interfere in the favor of Dirty Dom, but the Cenation Leader somehow stayed alive in the bout.

This was until Liv Morgan made her surprise return to WWE TV. She fooled Cena by pretending to side with the wrestling legend before delivering a low blow. This allowed Dominik to finally regain the IC title he lost earlier this month on November 10.

WWE aired the new version of the WrestleMania commercial after the conclusion of this PLE match, this time also including the returning star:

Liv Morgan was opposed to Roxanne Perez joining the Judgment Day before her injury. Now we\’ll have to see if the two are able to coexist in the faction.

  • Mystery Man Helps Bron Breakker Pin CM Punk At Survivor Series: WarGames

A mystery man in the WarGames.

The Men\’s WarGames match at Survivor Series saw Brock Lesnar being the final entrant from the heel side. The Beast Incarnate destroyed all the faces in the ring one by one after entering the cage.

This continued until Roman Reigns\’ music hit. Lesnar got out of the cage to meet The Tribal Chief in the entrance way. The two brawled around the ring before Brock got the upper hand and threw his arch rival into the cage so the match could officially begin.

The duo of CM Punk and Cody Rhodes somehow neutralized Lesnar with a GTS and Cross Rhodes combo, and the match continued.

Mystery Man Stuns at Survivor Series

After a lot more chaos, including the introduction of Logan Paul\’s brass knuckles, Bron Breakker and CM Punk were the ones who finished the match. Both the superstars were on their knees as everyone else was taken out, when a mystery figure dressed in all black climbed into the ring through the cage.

He looked on for a second before superkicking Punk. The mystery man then delivered a Stomp to the Straight Edge Star. Defying expectations, however, he then left the ring without revealing his identity.

The surprise allowed Breakker to capitalize with a spear to Punk and the former NXT star then pinned the World Heavyweight Champion for the win.

  • Drew McIntyre Reveals Embarrassing Origin of Claymore

Most wrestlers spend countless hours experimenting before carefully choosing their finishing move. For Drew McIntyre, however, it came almost spontaneously.

The Scottish Warrior recently appeared on ESPN Get UP to promote the Survivor Series: WarGames PPV. Among other things, he was asked about his Claymore finisher.

The former World Champion revealed the unique origin story of the move while answering the question. He mentioned that it became a thing accidentally when he was going for a regular kick while wearing leather pants:

\”The move came around by accident, actually. I created it when I was younger. I used to wear these tight leather pants when I was a kid, and I ran to kick somebody in the face, just a regular big boot. I realized the pants were gonna split. I kicked up my other leg, hit my opponent on the face.\”

It Could Have Been Embarrassing: Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre famously wore leather pants during his 3MB days. He mentioned that the pants would have split open in an embarrassing moment had he not made the adjustment:

The reason I did it is because my crotch was gonna burst open in those tight leather pants. I\’m Scottish. We don\’t love underwear. It could have been embarrassing, and that\’s where the Claymore came from.

I developed it. It resulted in World title after World title after World title, and what I\’m saying is – the secret to success is tight, tight leather pants.

Drew McIntyre will be competing in the Men\’s WarGames match, teaming with Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, and The Vision at the show tonight. They will face the team of Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and The Usos in the match beyond.

  • Dominik Mysterio Sends Message To John Cena Before Survivor Series

Dominik Mysterio has some choice words for John Cena.

The AAA Mega Champion was a guest on the latest Raw Recap where he talked at length about his upcoming IC Title rematch with the Cenation Leader at Survivor Series this Saturday.

Dirty Dom did not buy into the idea that it\’s a big deal for him to face John Cena in his final PLE appearance, saying that it\’s just another Saturday for him. Though the 28-year-old did send a message to the 17-time world champion before their encounter:

\”Well, the one thing I\’m going to say to John Cena is, he better be ready for Survivor Series this Saturday, because I\’m going to Rock him so hard he\’s gonna call me Maivia.\”

The Fans Feel Sympathetic: Dominik Mysterio

The young wrestling veteran had experienced a different side of the audience when he was cheered by the fans during his WrestleMania 41 victory. In his rivalry with John Cena, however, fans have very clearly sided with the Hollywood star.

When asked about the reason behind this change in reaction, Dominik Mysterio explained that people feel sympathetic towards the elderly:

\”I think, at the end of the day, the fans feel sympathetic, right? towards the elderly. So when they see John Cena come out, they\’re like, \’Wow, I can\’t believe someone was able to check him out of his home and bring him out here safely, to the arenas, without him breaking anything or getting hurt, because he\’s so fragile.\’ So I\’m just, I\’m excited for the fans to be able to experience that.\”

Mysterio later also added that fans cheer Cena because at 75-year-old they never know which of his appearances might be the last.

  • Photo: The Hurt Syndicate Reunites With Ex-WWE Partner

The Hurt Syndicate were back together with their former partner for one night.

4th Rope Wrestling, the indie promotion run by rapper Westside Gunn, held a show at WrestleCade on this Friday, 28 November.

The event featured members of the Hurt Syndicate in MVP and Shelton Benjamin reuniting with their former partner, Cedric Alexander:

The Hurt Business, consisting of Alexander, Benjamin, MVP, and Bobby Lashley, dominated WWE during the pandemic era. During their original run, the faction saw Lashley winning the WWE title while Shelton and Cedric held the Raw Tag Team Championships.

After leaving WWE one by one in 2023-24 over creative frustrations, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley would reunite in AEW under the new name of the Hurt Syndicate.

Alexander, however, missed out on this reunion as he remained with WWE until February this year. After his release from the Endeavor-owned promotion, the former Cruiserweight Champion made his TNA debut instead in June, and has been a regular for the company since then.

MVP has talked about adding a 4th member to Hurt Syndicate on many occasions and has claimed that he would love for it to be Alexander. Though the wrestling veteran also suggested that the decision is out of his hand and it will have to be a call from Tony Khan.

  • Dominik Mysterio Recreates Famous WrestleMania Entrance In New Music Video

Dirty Dom shows off his crossover appeal.

The popular WWE star has been featured in a new music video by Mexican singer Adriel Favela. The young wrestling veteran can be seen hanging out with Favela and Calle in the song at various locations.

Wrestling fans would recognize the opening shot of the video as a recreation of Dominik Mysterio\’s famous WrestleMania 39 entrance, where he entered wearing a mask and handcuffs, accompanied by police officers:

Favela also spoke to Rolling Stone about featuring the former IC Champion in his latest project, mentioning that the connection to lucha libre comes naturally. He explained that even though Dominik was born in the US, he has strong cultural ties to Mexico:

“The connection to lucha libre came naturally — in Mexico, it embodies family, identity, and culture, and even though Dom was born in the United States, the Mexican audience has watched him grow and embraced him as one of their own. That cultural bond is what gives this release its true meaning.\”

Dominik Mysterio is set to compete at the Survivor Series PPV this Saturday. He will be challenging John Cena for the IC title in a rematch from the November 10 Raw, where The Cenation Leader beat him for the belt in an impromptu match.

  • Eric Bischoff Responds To Latest Bret Hart Controversy

Eric Bischoff believes Bret Hart needs a therapist.

Apart from his usual thoughts about Bill Goldberg, The Hitman has attracted attention recently for his controversial remarks about other names in wrestling.

He\’s claimed that Sheamus throws embarrassing punches and that Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon were romantically involved with one another during the Attitude Era.

The former WCW President discussed these comments from Hart on the latest episode of his podcast. Eric Bischoff dismissed the notion that the former World Champion was just being funny and claimed that Bret is actually just bitter:

\”No, I don’t think he was being funny. I think he’s being bitter. And the reason I feel that way is because of everything that we’ve heard out of Bret Hart for the last couple of years.

When I talk about a guy who’s just hanging on, I just talked about it. He’s hanging on to this perception of himself as the greatest there ever was. And not only a Canadian hero, which is whatever, but like a cultural hero of some sort.\”

I Think It\’s Clinical: Eric Bischoff

Eric Bischoff mentioned that Bret Hart was popular during his active years, but not as much as some other stars. He cited the decline in WWE numbers during the Hall of Famer\’s reign as champion as proof that he got very close to being a top star, but never actually reached that level.

The former pro wrestling executive then suggested that the wrestling legend should seek therapy to deal with his issues:

\”I don’t know, man. It’s just so bitter. I’m not joking — I think it’s clinical. If I was someone close to Bret, I’d suggest maybe go see a therapist or talk to somebody and just leave that baggage behind. Your life will be way better if you do.”

Apart from this, Eric Bischoff also discussed the creation of Revan\’s Flock in WCW and more. You can check out the full episode of his podcast below:

  • LA Knight Claims ‘Somebody’ Is Trying To Stop His Progress In WWE

LA Knight seems to be picking up a storyline left unfinished by AJ Styles.

The 43-year-old squared off against The Miz in the Last Time is Now tournament on SmackDown this week. The A-Lister replaced an injured Sheamus in the match, and it was the second time Knight had to get in the ring with a mystery opponent after he beat Zack Ryder in the first round of the tournament.

Before this match, the former US Champion was interviewed backstage by Cathy Kelley. LA Knight went off about how it was unfair to him and how somebody behind-the-scene does not want him to get the success he\’s destined to achieve:

“You just gotta understand the frustration, right? Every time I start to get a little something going, somebody wants to try and cut my legs out. Somebody wants to stack the deck against me. Somebody basically wants to make sure that I can’t make the rise that I’m destined to make.”

    The Mysterious Somebody

This promo is very similar to one AJ Styles cut during a Raw commercial break back in September. The Phenomenal One had claimed that somebody was conspiring to make sure that he did not get any wins anymore.

Styles had later given a cryptic explanation of this promo, saying that it was for a nixed storyline but with some truth in it. In real-life, Baron Corbin has also claimed that one specific person was the reason behind his WWE release.

LA Knight defeated The Miz to advance to the semi-finals of the Last Time is Now tournament, and he will now face Jey Uso in the next round. We\’ll have to see if Knight continues this storyline as he progresses in the tournament or if the whole thing is dropped once again.

  • Another TNA Contract Up Soon

Another TNA star could become a free agent soon.

Jake Something, who made his return to the company during the Slammiversary PPV in July 2023, was originally believed to have signed a two-year contract with the promotion.

This would have meant that his deal with the company would have expired sometime in the mid-2026, but it doesn\’t appear to be the case.

According to the reports from Fightful Select, Something\’s is also among the names whose contracts are set to expire at the end of this year.

With this update, Jake Something joins the list of TNA talents such as Zachary Wentz, AJ Francis, Steve Maclin, and Jody Threat among others who could become a free agent in the coming weeks.

One such big name in Joe Hendry is already reported to have signed a WWE deal. There were months left in the former TNA Champion\’s contract with the Anthem-owned promotion, but WWE officials seemed to have bought out the remainder of his deal with the partner organization.

There is no word on if TNA officials have contacted Jake about a potential contract renewal. He\’s previously made appearances for both AEW and NJPW, and it\’s possible that these promotions would show interest in Something if he becomes a free agent.

  • Samoa Joe First World Title Defence Set After Full Gear

    Samoa Joe gets an opponent.

Eddie Kingston had called the new AEW World Heavyweight Champion out at the Thanksgiving special of Collision this week. This came after Kingston defeated Katsuyori Shibata at the show.

While the Samoan Submission Machine did not respond to this challenge, Tony Khan on Friday, made the World Heavyweight Championship match official for the Winter is Coming Dynamite on December 10:

Samoa Joe defeated Hangman Page to become a two-time AEW Champion at Full Gear on November 22. The ending of the Steel Cage bout saw HOOK cracking Page with the title belt to turn heel and side with The Opps.

As the former TNA star was celebrating his victory with his team, however, Swerve Strickland made his surprise return to the company.

Swerve was offered a chance to take revenge on Page, who was still out, but the returning star chose to attack Joe and the rest of the Opps instead. The show had then ended with Hangman coming back alive and standing tall with his arch rival after taking out the last of the Opps\’ minions.

The duo of Strickland and Page were seen together on this week\’s Dynamite again. A violent brawl between them and the Opps ended with the security having to pull them apart.

  • The Miz Replaces Sheamus In Last Time Is Now Tournament, Semi Finals Set

The latest in the Last Time Is Now tournament.

WWE aired a taped episode of SmackDown this week to allow talent an extra day off for the Thanksgiving holiday before being back on the road for the Survivor Series: WarGames event.

The show featured a backstage segment with Nick Aldis and The Miz, with the A-Lister pleading to be let back in the tournament to determine John Cena\’s last opponent. This came after Sheamus was removed from the competition due to a shoulder injury.

Aldis said that he has to do things the right way and drew a new ball from the tumbler. Before he could read the name inside it, however, R Truth made an appearance, once again pleading with The SmackDown GM to take his balls. The distraction allowed The Miz to replace the name in the ball with his own.

The Last Time is Now Tournament Semi Finals

The former World Champion went on to face LA Knight later in the show. He delivered a Skull Crushing Finale but could not get the pin on Knight, and it was the former Max Dupri who picked up the win.

Elsewhere in the show, \’Main Event\’ Jey Uso faced Rusev in the other quarterfinal match of the night, and the Yeet Man picked up the victory over the Bulgarian Brute.

The two winners from tonight will now face each other in the semi-final of the Last Time Is Now tournament on the SmackDown side. On the side of Raw, Gunther will be taking on Solo Sikoa to determine the other finalist.

  • Not Just Him: Saraya Defends Triple H Over Booking Criticism

Saraya has only nice things to say about Triple H.

The former WWE star recently had an interview with PokerScout. She talked about things such as getting the chance to wrestle again after her neck injury, winning the AEW women\’s title at All In: London and more.

She was also asked about Triple H taking over the WWE creative after Vince McMahon, and how she thinks The Game is doing. Saraya mentioned that different people will have different opinions on his booking ability, but for her, the wrestling veteran is doing a great job:

\”I’m sure everyone has an opinion on the way he runs it, no one’s ever gonna be fully happy and there’s gonna be people that are really happy with the way it’s going.

I think he’s doing a great job, I feel there’s not much I can say because it’s not just him, there’s a room full of writers that are on the road and at home and there’s so many people that are writing this show.\”

    He\’s The Lightning Conductor: Saraya

Saraya discussed how she will always have a soft spot for Triple H because of how much he helped female competitors as head of NXT. The inaugural NXT Women\’s Champion mentioned that the King of Kings allowed them to have longer matches in development and do moves that they weren\’t allowed under Vince McMahon.

The WWE Executive has received some criticism for his handling of John Cena\’s retirement run, among other things recently. The former Paige explained, however, that creative is not a one-person job and that the former world champion is just trying to put together the best show possible:

\”So if something’s not great, a lot of people go on the attack with Hunter and people don’t realise it’s not just him. He’s just trying to put on the best show that he possibly can. He’s the face and the lightning conductor. Exactly, he’s the one who gets the brunt of it, and people just don’t realise there’s more people in just one person running the show.\”

Saraya is currently a free agent who has not wrestled a match since October 2024. Though she has recently expressed interest in getting back in the ring, proclaiming that she will resume training at the start of 2026.

  • Drew McIntyre Explains Breaking The Fourth Wall During Pandemic Era

Drew McIntyre started breaking the fourth wall during the pandemic era to make a connection with the audience at home.

The former World Champion recently had an interview with Busted Open to promote Saturday\’s Survivor Series WarGames event. Among other things, he talked about his experience of wrestling in empty arenas during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Scottish Warrior discussed how it was an unprecedented time, and they had to figure out a way to make a connection with the audience at home:

\”The first night I started breaking the fourth wall and looking down the camera, because I was like \’Okay, we have to make a connection with people at home.\’ We\’re the only original content sports and entertainment out there right now. Everyone\’s scared. It was a different time.\”

We\’re Gonna Be There: Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre explained that everyone who performed during those times had to experiment with things to find their rhythm. For him, breaking the fourth wall and looking directly at the camera was a way to give assurance to the audience in the trying times:

\”We didn\’t know what was going on, and that was the first thing I thought, was, \’Let\’s make eye contact.\’ We can\’t feel them in the arena. We can\’t look them in the eye in the arena.

But we can look them in the eye at home and say, \’Hey, don\’t worry. We\’re gonna be there for you a couple of times a week and give you that escape.\’ So every week I would try something different. Everybody else will try something different. And we did what we had to do.\”

  • Seth Rollins Believed Polygamy Was The Answer For Him Before Becky Lynch

Seth Rollins had a very different perspective on relationships before getting together with Becky Lynch.

The WWE power couple recently appeared on Something’s Burning podcast. The lengthy conversation touched on topics such as how Seth Rollins changed the athletic standards in wrestling, their daughter\’s reaction to Becky\’s heel persona and more.

During the talk, Seth Rollins also discussed his life before getting in a relationship with The Man. The former World Champion claimed that he was going through an existential romantic crisis at the time and he thought that polygamy was the answer for him:

“I was going through an existential romantic crisis at the end of 2018 where I thought polygamy was the answer, and she was guiding me through this as a friend. I became single, she was single, and then I was starting to make some ‘Hey maybe we should fool around a little bit.\”

Very Casual, No Problem: Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins explained that he had several failed relationships in his 20s. Constantly being on the road made it hard for him to focus on his partner, and there were multiple relationships from which he did not get out at the right time.

These experiences made the Visionary feel like he could never be in a serious relationship in his life. This is why he was only thinking about something causal with Becky Lynch when they first became close:

\”Maybe we should just be more than friends.’ Casual, you know what I mean? Very casual. No problem. Like what, just ‘I think you’re hot, let’s hang out and tongue kiss or something.\’ I was in my full, you know, ‘I think polygamy is the answer for me’ mindset, and she was she was like, ‘I don’t want to do this. What are we doing?’\”

Becky, at the time, declined the offer. While the former Women\’s Champion was supportive of Rollins, she thought that they should just be friends. This all changed when she made the move on Seth however, at the 2019 Royal Rumble. You can check out the story of that here.

  • Dominik Mysterio Recalls His Father\’s Reaction To Eddie Guerrero\’s Passing

Dominik Mysterio says the first time he saw his father crying was on Eddie Guerrero\’s death.

WWE\’s YouTube channel recently posted a video with the Judgment Day star talking about the legacy of the late Hall of Famer and how Guerrero has influenced his own career.

During the talk, Dirty Dom also recalled the passing of the wrestling legend in November 2005, mentioning that it was the first time he saw his father Rey Mysterio crying:

“When Eddie passed, that was the first time I saw my dad cry. I know Eddie had a rough past. I know he struggled with a lot of stuff in the past, addictions and stuff like that that he’s dealt with. I know that when he was doing the angles with me, he was the best version of himself.”

Apart from this, Dominik Mysterio discussed being part of the famous 2005 feud between his father and Eddie.

He revealed that Guerrero came up with the idea for the custody battle, and the Latino Heat always made sure he was ok and taken care of during this time.

The 28-year-old is set to compete at the Survivor Series PPV from San Diego, California this Saturday night on November 29. He will be challenging John Cena for the IC Title after the Cenation Leader beat him for the belt during the November 10 Raw.

The former champion is currently on a break from wrestling. She hasn\’t competed since the All Out Texas PPV in July, where she was part of the Casino Gauntlet match. There is no word on when she will return to the ring.

  • Aleister Black Reveals How Vince McMahon Viewed His Character

Aleister Black says Vince McMahon saw his character very differently than he did.

The wrestling veteran recently spoke to WrestleRant for a new interview. He discussed things such as his time in AEW, changes he\’s noticed in the creative process under Triple H since returning to the company, and more.

During the interview, Black also discussed his first run on the WWE main roster. Specifically, he was asked about a creaking sound being added to his entrance when he rises up, something which wasn\’t a part of his NXT entrance.

The former NXT star explained that it was a Vince McMahon decision because the former WWE Chairman viewed his character as a vampire:

“That was definitely a Vince thing. I think Vince thought that the character was a vampire and felt like old school Nosferatu, you know, rising up. 1920s Count Orlok type.  So he felt that he heard a creak and that’s why he wanted to have the creak there.\”

It Negated What I Thought: Aleister Black

Aleister Black claimed that he didn\’t mind the change very much, but he believes that fans had trouble with the discontinuity between his NXT and main roster presentation. The former AEW star added that he understands why the fans were unhappy with this modification:

\”I don’t personally think that it added a lot. It also kind of like negated what I thought of what the character was so, it’s a different translation but at the same time like I could translate it and it was fine. It didn’t make me a very different character just because it was a creek.\”

Apart from this, Aleister Black also discussed his WWE return earlier this year and revealed that he was considered as Randy Orton\’s WrestleMania 41 opponent. You can check out his remarks on the matter here.

  • Former WWE Champion Reportedly Signed By AEW

A former WWE champion has apparently signed with AEW.

Former WWE star Kayden Carter, now going by the name Lacey Lane, made her debut for Ring of Honor in September, where she unsuccessfully challenged Mina Shirakawa for the Interim ROH Women\’s TV title.

The ROH match led to her getting an opportunity to compete on Dynamite during the October 7 Title Tuesday special. She answered Mercedes Mone\’s open challenge for the AEW TBS Championship on the show.

While Lane was again unsuccessful in her quest to win the title, she seems to have made a good impression on AEW Officials. Fightful Select is reporting that Lacey was signed by the company after her match with Mone.

Making her wrestling debut in 2016 after training with The Dudley Boyz, the female star was signed by WWE in 2018, and she competed in the Mae Young Classic that year.

After a year in development, Lane debuted the Kayden Carter moniker on NXT in September 2019. She then started teaming with Kacy Catanzaro.

The duo had a successful tag team run, winning the Women\’s tag titles in both NXT and the main roster. Both of them were released from their deals in May this year.

  • Paul Heyman Reacts To Brock Lesnar\’s Raw Botch

Paul Heyman has commented on Brock Lesnar\’s Raw botch.

The Beast Incarnate made an unannounced appearance at the end of the latest episode of WWE\’s flagship show. He slipped on stage while doing his signature taunt, however, in a moment that went viral on social media.

Appearing on ESPN First Take to promote Survivor Series, Paul Heyman talked about this moment. The advocate called it a GOAT move, mentioning how Lesnar was quickly able to recover from the embarrassment:

“Actually I think it is a GOAT move, and the reason that I think it was a GOAT move is because we all fumble at some point in the game. We all do. There is no such thing as someone who doesn’t fumble in life. Brock Lesnar turned a fumble into a touchdown just like that.\”

There Is No One Like Him: Paul Heyman

Off air fan videos showed Brock Lesnar pointing the spot to Heyman after the episode. Paul revealed that there was water on the entrance way but discussed how the former World Champion did not let the fall break his stride:

\”He is the Beast. There is no one like him. He’s one of one. There was water on the entrance way. He slips, falls, rolls through, comes up and there he is smiling and just coming down to the ring for war. Who else could do that but Brock Lesnar?”

The former UFC Champion is set to compete in the WarGames match at Survivor Series this Saturday, November 29. He will team with The Vision, Logan Pual and Drew McIntyre to face The Usos, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.

  • Lacey Evans Fires Back At Becky Lynch For Calling Their Feud Terrible

Lacey Evans has replied to Becky Lynch.

The former WWE star was placed in a feud with The Man after being drafted to Raw brand in 2019. This was immediately following WrestleMania 35, where Becky main-evented the show with Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.

During a recent appearance on Something’s Burning podcast, Lynch had shared her thoughts on this feud. The former champion questioned the decision to put her in a program with Evans after the biggest match of her career, when Lacey had only wrestled 4 matches on the main roster before their first encounter:

“I start working with Lacey Evans right out the gate (after WrestleMania 35). God bless her, but she wasn\’t, you know… For me to go from the main event of WrestleMania to somebody who hadn\’t done anything, was terrible.”

    Lacey Evans Fires Back

The former WWE star, real name Macey Estrella-Kadlec, responded to this quote from her former rival on Twitter. She questioned Becky never raising the issue with her at the time, and suggested that the former IC Champion will not have the guts to say this to her face even today:

\”Dont hate the player. Hate the game. The only person who *shoot cried more than you was the baby I had on my hip while taking all the opportunities. If/when I come back…..you will STILL do nothing but gently shake my hand and say \”how cute my little family is\” backstage.\”

Lacey Evans would remain part of the WWE roster for 4 more years. She left the company in August 2023, and has not wrestled ever since.

  • Aleister Black Explains Why He Wasn\’t Randy Orton\’s WrestleMania 41 Opponent

Aleister Black has explained the thought process behind his WWE return.

The former NXT Champion recently had an interview with WrestleRant. He talked about things such as how WWE creative process has changed under Triple H, being paired with his wife Zelina Vega on TV and more.

During the talk, the host also discussed the difference between his AEW debut which was kept a complete secret, and his WWE return, which was promoted in advance with vignettes.

Black was asked if there had been any discussion of keeping his return a secret, and the wrestling star noted that creative had toyed with many different ideas

“They were toying with a bunch of ideas. I know at one point there was this conversation about, ‘Oh, maybe he\’s coming back to wrestle Randy Orton at Mania.’ That was an actual thing that was discussed.\”

I’m Very Grateful For: Aleister Black

Randy Orton was originally scheduled to face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 41. After KO withdrew from the match due to his neck injury, then TNA Champion Joe Hendry made a surprise appearance at the show to wrestle The Viper. Aleister Black on the other hand, made his return on the SmackDown after the Show of Shows.

Explaining why the idea for him to face Orton was shot down, Black mentioned that the officials did not want him to lose in his return match:

\”It was counter-argued quickly because they were like, ‘Well, we don\’t want him to lose coming back at WrestleMania. That doesn\’t make any sense.’ They felt that they wanted to give it the right attention, and they wanted it to be specifically about me, which I\’m very grateful for.”

Aleister attacked The Miz in his WWE return and then defeated him in a match the next week. He has had matches with the likes of Damian Priest and Cody Rhodes since then.

  • Andrade Breaks Silence On WWE Situation In Revealing First Interview

    Andrade has broken his silence.

The former WWE star spoke about his situation for the first time since his WWE departure on TV Azteca Deportes and explained the circumstances that have been the cause for countless rumors the last few weeks.

The former NXT Champion first talked about leaving AEW to return to WWE in 2023. Andrade claimed that he was happy in Tony Khan\’s promotion as well and the reason for the move was to spend more time with his then wife Charlotte Flair:

\”I returned a year and a half, almost 2 years ago to WWE, I was in a company called AEW and at that time I was already somewhat happy but I was married… my wife\’s name is Charlotte Flair and she works in WWE, so the idea was to return to WWE, to be with her. And many things happened, then we weren\’t really comfortable, we got divorced… but in the end I wasn\’t really comfortable with several things.\”

Andrade also spoke candidly about reports of wellness policy violations towards the end of his latest run with the company. He explained the situation, suggesting that it was a result of using supplements that are permitted in Mexican companies but not in WWE:

\”I had a warning call, which went online, I had a warning call because there are many medicines or supplements that can be consumed in Mexico, which can\’t be consumed there… And we have certain restrictions that require a prescription, supplements that have something that we cannot consume as athletes because of doping and things like that. I had a warning. I was also a bit annoyed.\”

    The Best Way Possible: Andrade

Though contrary to reports of the officials being unhappy with the manner of his departure, the high-flying star claimed that he had parted ways with the company on good terms. Things only went sour when he made his AEW return in October, only days after his WWE exit in September:

\”I spoke with WWE; we reached an agreement to leave WWE. We ended in the best way possible at that time. Then I returned to AEW, the other company. I imagine they didn\’t like it, truth be told. I don\’t know. I\’m very grateful to WWE.\”

Andrade also explained the situation with his year-long non-compete, saying that it was his previous lawyer who signed the deal. He confirmed that the current deal restricts him from competing anywhere in the world but revealed that he\’s hired new lawyers which are working on resolving the issue as soon as possible:

\”My lawyers are already talking with WWE\’s lawyers; they\’re already reaching an agreement. I don\’t know the exact date, but hopefully it could be in a month, in a week.\”

Andrade did not speak on the other side of the situation in Tony Khan and AEW. The AEW President himself, however, has previously claimed that the 36-year-old will be welcomed back in his promotion whenever he\’s free to compete.
