  • Final Men\’s WarGames Lineup Confirmed With Big Returns On Raw

The Men\’s WarGames lineup has been confirmed.

This week\’s episode of Monday Night Raw from Madison Square Garden in New York, featured a backstage segment where Paul Heyman teased the fifth member of their WarGames team to Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce.

The main event of the show then saw Heyman introducing The Vision, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre before talking about the upcoming Survivor Series match. CM Punk, The Usos, and Cody Rhodes were out next, and a huge brawl broke out.

The faces seemed to have the upper hand in this fight with the numbers being fair, that was until Brock Lesnar\’s music hit.

    Roman Reigns Returns

The Beast Incarnate cleared the ring and stood tall as the ending graphics appeared on the screen. Even that could not stop the return of Roman Reigns, however, and the Tribal Chief\’s appearance was enough to continue the show past the ending graphics.

The Head of The Table sent Lesnar crashing out of the ring with a big Superman punch before the security showed up to keep them apart.

Big Bronson Reed tried to use this opportunity to get an upper hand on Reigns, but the Big Dog was too much even for him. The show ended with the NYPD showing up in the arena as Roman sent Reed crashing through a barricade, while the chaos continued all around the ringside.

The line up for the Men\’s WarGames match for the November 29 Survivor Series PPV has been finalised with these two big returns. There are still spots open on the Women\’s side however, and we\’ll have to see which names fill that up.

  • NXT Star Reveals John Cena Advice From Recent PC Visit

Kelani Jordan has revealed advice she got from John Cena.

The current Knockouts Champion recently had an interview with Denise Salcedo. She talked about things such as the challenges of holding the TNA belt as an NXT star, which wrestlers she studies to get better and more.

During the talk, she was also asked about the Cenation Leader\’s recent visit to the Performance Center. Jordan explained that Cena is a very intellectual person and revealed what he said while addressing all the development stars:

“He gave us so much insight. He kept reminding us that wrestling is a journey and it is not always going to be the mountain top, and there are times when you’ll be in the valley. He kept reinforcing, ‘Believe in yourself, dare to be different.’\”

    Stay The Course: John Cena

Kelani Jordan also revealed that she got to ask some questions from John Cena directly. The 17-time world champion advised her not to care too much about people\’s opinion on social media and instead to keep working on her craft:

\”I asked him a few questions and he told me, ‘Keep doing what you’re doing. Stay the course. Sometimes on social media, people love you, sometimes they boo you. That’s okay.’

He was a babyface for so long and there were times when the crowd turned on him, but he’s still John Cena and they are still buying tickets to come see him.\”

John Cena\’s recent PC visit is said to be the reason he announced the inclusion of NXT stars in his final show. You can check out his announcement here.

  • Big Change To Women\’s WarGames Lineup on SmackDown

Charlotte Flair does not trust Rhea Ripley.

This past Monday\’s Raw featured the big return of The Mami, who helped IYO SKY, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss fight off The Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend in the main event of the show.

Ripley had announced a Women\’s WarGames match between the two teams to end the episode. Fans had been wondering which 2 names would join these teams for the 5-on-5 cage match at Survivor Series since then.

The company added a twist to the whole thing on this week\’s episode of SmackDown, however, which was opened by Ripley and SKY.

The Eradicator cut a promo before introducing Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. Bliss also talked about the Kabuki Warriors and the WarGames match.

Though Flair expressed a very different concern when she got on the mic. The Queen mentioned her history with Rhea Ripley and declared that she couldn\’t trust the former Judgment Day star. The Horsewoman then announced that she was out of the WarGames team and left the ring.

The duo of Charlotte and Alexa also lost the Women\’s tag team titles to the Kabuki Warriors on Raw this week. With Flair walking out on Bliss, one has to wonder if it\’s also the end of their tag team run or if we\’ll see them teaming again in the future.

  • Watch: What Happened With Rhea Ripley After SmackDown Went Off Air

Rhea Ripley made another appearance after SmackDown.

The main event of this week\’s episode of the Blue Branded Show was Cody Rhodes defending his WWE title against Bronson Reed with Paul Heyman at ringside.

The match didn\’t last for long as Bron Breaker & Logan Paul showed up to beat the WWE Champion down while he was looking to put Reed through the announce desk. The Usos were out next and the fight was fair for a short while.

This was until Drew McIntyre showed up to tip the scales in favor of the heels. After the Scottish Warrior helped take out the faces, he shook hands with Paul Heyman to confirm his place in WarGames and end the show.

    What Happened After SmackDown

Rhodes, who took a claymore from McIntyre, was helped up by Jimmy Uso after the show went off air, and the trio then slowly left the ring. This wasn\’t the end of the night, however, as IYO SKY then came out for a match against Roxanne Perez.

SKY was accompanied by her tag team partner, Rhea Ripley, while Judgment Day\’s Raquel Rodriguez was in Perez\’s corner. The ending of this dark match saw Raquel trying to help her partner with a cheap shot to IYO.

Ripley threw her in the ring instead and then took Rodriguez out with a big clothesline. This distraction allowed SKY to regain control. She then won the match and celebrated with her partner to send the crowd home happy.

  • Watch: Released NXT Star Makes TNA Turning Point Return

Wes Lee is back with TNA.

Last night\’s episode of Impact Wrestling had featured a segment with Johnny Dango Curtis, the former Fandango of WWE, announcing plans for wrestling retirement come January.

The Rascalz then entered the scene and proposed a match at Turning Point with Curtis and the rest of the System. When Moose pointed out that the System had 4 members compared to the 3 Rascalz, the trio teased the return of a family member.

The fourth member of the group turned out to be none other than former NXT star Dezmond Xavier. The returning star went on to help his team pick up the victory after pinning Dango with a Spiral Tap:

Dezmond Xavier was part of the TNA roster from 2017 to 2020, spending the latter two years of his run with the promotion as part of the Rascalz faction.

Both him and his partner, Zachary Wentz, left the Anthem-owned promotion to sign development deals with WWE in 2020. Wentz was released from his deal in 2022 but Xavier, known as Wes Lee in NXT continued his run until this year.

Lee had a run with the NXT North American Title as well as multiple tag team title runs in the brand and his release in October came as a surprise to many.

  • Traditional Elimination Match Returning To Survivor Series Weekend

The traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series tag team elimination match is making a comeback.

This week\’s episode of SmackDown from MVP Arena in Albany, New York, featured Sami Zayn in a promo segment. He talked about MFT running rough shots on the SD roster and announced that he was finally cleared to compete.

Solo Sikoa and his goons came out to surround the former US Champion, but the Underdog from the Underground was not alone.

Rey Fenix, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Motor City Machine Guns all came out to brawl with the MFT. The segment ended with Fenix delivering a big Tornillo on the heels and sending them packing.

Survivor Series Elimination Match Making A Comeback

Later in the night, Solo Sikoa approached Nick Aldis and demanded a match against Sami Zayn. The SmackDown General Manager declined, deciding that he did not have enough time on tonight\’s show.

Aldis, however, then announced the return of the traditional Survivor Series elimination tag match. He told Sikoa that his faction can take on all the babyfaces that they battled earlier, on the November 28 Survivor Series go-home episode of the Blue Branded show.

As the WWE official walked out of the frame, some symbols relating to The Wyatt Sicks appeared on the screen, suggesting that there might be another twist coming to this story soon.

  • Steve Austin Discloses The Most Memorable Moment of His Career

Stone Cold Steve Austin has revealed the most memorable moment of his career.

The Wrestling Veteran was asked the question during a recent interview with DJD Classics. The WWE Hall of Famer first mentioned how he loved working with the Rock and that his feud with Vince McMahon changed the wrestling world forever.

The one moment that Steve Austin cherishes more than all others, however, comes from his WrestleMania 13 No DQ submission match with Bret \’The Hitman\’ Hart:

\”That match at WrestleMania 13, I knew we had those people from Jump Street. I dived on him, started whipping his ass, and then we go into a barricade. I start bleeding like a stuck pig.

Finally, after a couple of attempts, he turns me over in that sharpshooter, and I\’m laying there, and I\’m in a push up position, and I am trying to escape.\”

I\’ll Never Forget: Stone Cold Steve Austin

The ending of the bout saw Steve Austin passing out from pain and loss of blood after being locked in the Sharpshooter by Hart. The special guest referee, Ken Shamrock then awarded the match to Bret.

The Hitman continued attacking the Texas Rattlesnake even after the bell, however, leading to the most famous double turn in wrestling history.

The WWE Hall of Famer mentioned that the acoustics of the arena made the whole thing even more special. Austin claimed that he will never forget the moment when he was just laying there in the pool of his own blood:

\”We loved working Chicago Rosemont Horizon, because first of all, the fans are terrific. And the acoustics in that building, that\’s a wooden ceiling. So when they yell, it\’s kind of like hitting the gas pedal, you get an immediate response.

Everything you do in that ring is driven by a response. Man, those people are just quick. And so we had that crowd, hook, line and sinker, and I was going to pass out in the pool of blood. Got in the finish. Got the finish earlier from Vince.

The pool of blood was not planned, until later by two individuals. There was a no color policy in effect, and I was laying there bleeding like a stuck pig. And I\’ll never forget, to answer your question, that moment was finishing that match, executing the double turn, and laying there.\”

Stone Cold Steve Austin later revealed that the idea of delivering a stunner to Shamrock when the UFC legend tried to pull him up was his own. He also named Bret Hart as the opponent he loved sharing the ring with the most.

  • How AJ Styles Feels About Talent Stealing His Moves

AJ Styles does not mind when people use his moves.

The topic of other talents using moves made famous by one wrestler has always divided opinions. There are many veterans who feel offended on such an act and there have been many instances of old school wrestlers being unhappy with younger talents copying their style.

The Phenomenal One however, took a more positive approach when asked about it during an appearance on No-Contest Wrestling podcast. AJ Styles explained that he takes it as an indication of the impact he\’s made on the business:

“That’s cool. Well, I mean, if guys are doing my moves—if girls are doing my moves—that’s awesome. I want them to.

That just means I’ve made an impact in the business, that people have watched AJ Styles and thought, \’Great, I’d like to try that. I’d like to see if I could do that.’\”

I Did The Same Thing: AJ Styles

AJ Styles mentioned how he used to learn moves by watching others when he was younger as well. The former WWE champion said he doesn\’t really care even if someone adopts his finishing move as his own:

\”I did the same thing. I was trying shooting star presses and 450s and all kinds of stuff like that because I saw other guys do it.

So the fact that someone does the Styles Clash—I don’t care. Thank you for doing it, man. That means it’s impacted the wrestling world, and that’s okay. I like that.”

Apart from this, Styles was also asked about potentially facing CM Punk in a rematch to their ROH encounters from more than 20 years ago. The former TNA star said that he\’d love to throw it back with Punk if given a chance and he thinks that the encounter will be a lot of fun.

  • Stephanie McMahon Reveals Reaction To \’Slut\’ Chants From Fans

Stephanie McMahon did not mind being called a slut.

The former WWE Executive invited Paul Heyman as a guest on the latest episode of her podcast. Heyman talked about things such as working with Brock Lesnar, the Roman Reigns Bloodline story and more.

During the talk, Stephanie McMahon also discussed being a heel in WWE and how the fans were very vocal about her character in the company during the Attitude Era. McMahon first revealed what she thought was the most horrifying chant directed towards her by the crowd:

“The things they say sometimes, it’s really funny. My most horrifying [chant] was, ‘she’s got side meat.” I hate that one, it’s mean. Chicago with ‘she’s a crack whore.’ Most everywhere else, it was ‘slut.’ They chanted ‘slut’ as soon as I turned heel, and it was so great.”

Greatest Thing I Ever Heard: Stephanie McMahon

Stephanie McMahon also talked about her heel turn during the 1999 Armageddon PPV. Vince McMahon faced Triple H in the main event of the show.

The former WWE Chairman was helped by Mankind and he looked to be in control of the bout. This was until Stephanie interfered by stopping Vince from using the sledgehammer on The Game, allowing Triple H to pick up the victory.

The female star mentioned how the crowd were very vocal about her betrayal the night after on Raw, but claimed that she did not mind the reaction:

\”The next day, we were in Florida, they came with the ‘slut’ chant and it was the greatest thing I had ever heard cause nobody else got chanted at that way.

It’s fantastic! Arenas of people, 1000s of people chanting ‘slut’ at me. It’s the best. That’s the greatest. I mean, who could say that? Not many people.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Paul Heyman claimed that being a heel is much easier because you have to be conscious of everything you do as a babyface.

  • Mike Santana Shockingly Loses TNA Title In First Defense

Mike Santana is no longer the TNA World Champion.

TNA returned to their weekly programming for the first time since the October 12 Bound For Glory PPV for an episode of Impact this Thursday, coming live from Full Sail University in Orlando, FL.

The main event of the show was Santana defending the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Ryan Nemeth. Nic Nemeth\’s music hit halfway through the bout, and he was seen walking in the hallway backstage.

The former TNA World Champion, however, was attacked before he could reach the ringside area. We then saw Robert Stone leading an NXT invasion with a number of development stars who all attacked Santana.

The NXT crew left after inflicting some serious damage on the defending champ, leaving the door open for Frankie Kazarian to cash in his Call Your Shot Trophy.

Mike Santana still tried to fight bravely, but the injuries inflicted by the NXT talents proved too much in the end. Kazarian won the bout with a roll up after the champ failed to deliver his discus lariat finisher.

This was a surprising end to the night as Santana had only won the title from Trick Williams at the Bound For Glory event last month, and this was his first time defending the belt.

It\’s unknown what the future holds for the former AEW star after this shocking loss, and rumors have already started forming about him potentially ending his run with TNA like Joe Hendry. You can check out the latest update on Hendry\’s status here.

  • Big Update On Joe Hendry\’s WWE Status

Joe Hendry is officially a WWE star.

The social media sensation missing the recent TNA Bound For Glory PPV was a big surprise for people, especially since he has continued making appearances for WWE over at the NXT brand.

Fightful Select provided an update on his status, revealing that there is a good reason behind this. According to the site, Hendry is now officially a WWE star.

A WWE move had always been expected for the 37-year-old ever since he went viral for his theme song and started making appearances for the development brand. Shawn Michaels had been vocal about Hendry\’s work, and HBK had even pushed for WWE to buy out his TNA deal.

A deal for the same seems to have finally been reached, as the report reveals that the former Champion still had a number of months remaining on his contract with the Anthem-owned promotion.

Joe Hendry worked with representatives to make the transition smooth, and he doesn\’t appear to have any heat with TNA officials. The wrestling veteran is not scheduled to be a part of TNA shows this weekend, but he lives in the area. So it wouldn\’t be a surprise if he showed up to support his former colleagues.

It\’s unknown if WWE is planning to make an official announcement regarding Hendry\’s status, but he\’s widely expected to be a part of John Cena\’s Last Time Is Now tournament.

  • MVP Provides Big Update On AEW Future

MVP is betting on his future with AEW.

The Hurt Syndicate star recently had an interview with AdventureGamers.com. He talked about things such as their feud with Ricochet, working with MJF, how AEW is different than WWE and more.

During the talk, MVP also provided a big update on his wrestling future. The former WWE star revealed that he recently signed a contract extension with Tony Khan\’s promotion. While he did not reveal the length of the new deal, the wrestling veteran hoped that he\’ll continue working with the company after the end of his in-ring career in whatever role possible:

\”Recently I signed an extension and I’ll be with AEW for quite a while in my current capacity and hopefully beyond in a managerial capacity and to whatever extent, possibly behind the scenes.\”

The 52-year-old claimed that he is very happy with where he is in his career right now. He is able to make money working with his friends and also contributing to the business, and he thanked Tony Khan for this opportunity.

MVP made his surprise debut for AEW back in September last year. His arrival was quickly followed by the debuts of Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley.

A contract extension at this juncture means the former champion most likely signed a one-year deal upon his arrival and other members of his faction might also be looking to renew their deals soon.

  • Reason Behind Ric Flair Missing Blood & Guts TV Appearance (Report)

AEW apparently had to make changes to Blood & Guts special due to Ric Flair.

The Nature Boy was in attendance for tonight\’s Dynamite tapings from First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. He made an appearance for the live crowd before the show and thanked Tony Khan for inviting him to the event.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer provided an update on this Flair sighting. He reported that the Hall of Famer was originally expected to be a bigger part of the night and was scheduled to make a TV appearance as well.

According to the wrestling journalist, the plans were shuffled because Ric Flair was dealing with a recent rotator cuff tear. He was in \’a ton of pain\’ and left not long after greeting the crowd.

While the 16-time world champion could not make an appearance on the Blood & Guts Dynamite, there was a segment on the show featuring another legend in Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat.

Steamboat even mentioned Flair as his #1 nemesis before being interrupted by FTR. The whole thing turned physical after a tense verbal exchange, leading to Brodido making the save for the wrestling veteran.

The report does not provide any more details on when Ric suffered the injury or what the original plan for him at the show was. With his name being mentioned, however, it\’s not hard to imagine that he had a role in the segment with Ricky Steamboat, which was nixed.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for an update on Flair\’s health.

  • How John Cena Supported Tyson Kidd After Career-Ending Injury

John Cena is a good guy.

The Cenation Leader started the last leg of his retirement tour with a triumphant return to TV on Raw this week. It was an especially emotional affair for the crowd in Boston, Massachusetts as it was the 48-year-old\’s last appearance as an active performer in his hometown.

The Boston Herald put together an article around the Hollywood star\’s final WWE appearance in the city. It featured comments from various WWE stars, highlighting what the wrestling legend means to the industry.

Fellow wrestling veteran Natalya was one such person interviewed for the piece. She revealed how John Cena made effort to support her husband, TJ Wilson when he suffered a career-ending injury:

“John is a good friend and a great person, when TJ got injured, John was the one who took the time to reach out.

When TJ was recovering, John would call and talk with him. He’d even take us out for dinner. The injury was very emotional and traumatic, but John made TJ felt heard.”

Wilson, known to fans as Tyson Kidd, suffered a spinal cord injury while taking a Muscle Buster from Samoa Joe during a Raw dark match back in June 2015. The injury ended Kidd\’s in-ring career and forced him to move into a producer role.

John Cena has only three appearances left in his retirement tour after his stop at Boston. The 17-time world champion will be making his final appearance at Madison Square Garden in New York City next Monday on November 17.

  • Chris Jericho Buries AEW Presentation Discussing Recent TNA Success

Chris Jericho has revealed his thoughts on TNA\’s recent success.

Y2J invited The Hardy Boyz and The Dudleys to the latest episode of his Talk Is Jericho podcast. The wrestling veterans were there to discuss their final encounter at the recent TNA Bound For Glory event.

During the talk, the former AEW Champion also commented on the TNA PPV being a huge success with over 6,000 fans in attendance. Chris Jericho claimed that the place looked like it had a \’WWE-level crowd\’ and suggested that it put AEW\’s recent shows to shame:

“That crowd looked huge. It looked huge. It was like a WWE-level crowd. The place was packed. I was watching this and, not saying anything out of school here,

But comparing it to watching Dynamite when they were at the ECW Arena, which looked like a Tony Condello taping — sorry, it did — TNA looked like the second biggest company in the world, and that was amazing. And the presentation was amazing.”

AEW has been struggling with ticket sales and TV ratings for a while, and some recent Dynamite tapings have drawn a crowd of less than 2,000. The company has even resorted to holding multiple TV tapings in a row at venues such as the famous 2300 Arena, presumably to reduce travel costs.

The prolonged absence of Chris Jericho from AEW TV makes these remarks even more intriguing. There have been rumblings of the Attitude Era star potentially returning to WWE when his current deal expires this year, and these latest comments are only expected to add fuel to the fire.

  • AEW Star Explains Reason For Missing Blood & Guts

Queen Aminata has revealed what kept her out of Blood & Guts.

The female star was supposed to be part of the first-ever Women\’s Blood & Guts match on this week\’s Dynamite. She was first pulled from a scheduled match on last week\’s episode of the Wednesday night show and then replaced in the match beyond as well.

In a new vlog on her YouTube channel, Aminata explained the reason behind this decision from the management. The AEW star revealed that she has been feeling tightness in her neck

“I was not cleared because my neck is so tight. I cannot [turn my neck]. Now, I can move it a little bit, but because of that I got taken out of the match today and that resulted in me being taken out of Blood & Guts.\”

    Safety Comes First: Queen Aminata

Though Queen Aminata is keeping a positive mindset despite missing out on the historic match. She mentioned how she would rather take a few weeks off to take care of her neck now than to miss months of action by aggravating it further:

\”I’m a firm believer in everything happens for a reason. Safety comes first. I’d rather be out two to three weeks than be out for six months. It hurts because I feel like I’ve put in the work to be part of this historical moment in women’s wrestling.

I’m disappointed, but I know the medical team at AEW are trying their best to make me understand that they are doing this for my own good and well-being,”

Mina Shirakawa replaced Aminata in the Blood & Guts match at tonight\’s show, and she ended up being a big part of the finish to the bout. The heels held Mina hostage and got Toni Storm to forfeit the match. The finish suggests that officials had to come up with a new plan after the Queen was put on shelf.

  • Stipulation Announced For Full Gear World Title Match

A stipulation has been added to the AEW Title match at Full Gear.

This week\’s Blood & Guts special of Dynamite featured a Falls Count Anywhere match between Hangman Adam Page and Powerhouse Hobbs.

The AEW Men\’s World Champion won the match after sending Hobbs through an electric table. He couldn\’t celebrate for long, however, as Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata attacked Page right after.

Eddie Kingston and Hook made the save for Hangman, forcing the heels to retreat. Adam Page took the mic after this and proposed a steel cage stipulation for his title defence against Joe. Tony Khan then quickly made the decision official.

AEW Full Gear Updated Match Card

A total of six matches have been confirmed for the main card of Full Gear. You can check out the card for the PPV taking place from Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on November 22, 2025 below:

    • Steel Cage Match For AEW World Heavyweight Championship: “Hangman” Adam Page (c) vs. Samoa Joe

  • AJ Lee Beats Brock Lesnar For Place In WWE\’s Top Merch Seller List of 2025

WWE has released a list of superstars who have moved the most merch in 2025.

The official WWE shop website released a list of ten superstars who have been the top sellers for the company so far in the year. The list includes expected names such as Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, and John Cena, as well as breakout stars like Jacob Fatu.

One name who surprisingly made the list is AJ Lee, who has only had a brief run with WWE this year. The former Divas Champion made her much-anticipated return to the company during September 5 SmackDown.

Though she has not been seen since the September 20 WrestlePalooza PPV, where Lee teamed with CM Punk to defeat the duo of Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins:

Notable Names Missing From Top Sellers List

There are also a number of notable names missing from the list. Perhaps the most surprising is of Brock Lesnar, who the officials also brought back despite considerable backlash for a match with John Cena at WrestlePalooza.

Another name who missed out on the top ten is LA Knight. The former Max Dupri has remained over with the crowd. Fans have complained about his place on the card, but the ranking partially explains the reason officials have been reluctant in pushing him above his current status.

Other notable names who did not make the cut despite their popularity are Drew McIntyre, Stephanie Vaquer, The Wyatt Sicks, and Charlotte Flair.

  • Injured Star\’s In-Ring Return And More Confirmed For NXT Gold Rush

After Fallon Henley defeated Skylar Raye on NXT, it was also confirmed that she will face Zaria in the tournament finals to crown the new Women\’s Speed Champion.

  • NXT Championship Last Man Standing Match Ends With Big Return

Ricky Saints already has a new challenger for the NXT championship.

The main event of this week\’s episode of NXT was a Last Man Standing match with Saints defending his title against two-time champion Trick Williams.

The brutal match saw both contestants taking a lot of punishment. The fight reached the stands towards the ending, and Williams delivered a big trick shot in what he thought was the winning move. The referee, however, was unable to count because Saints went down sitting.

The momentary lapse of concentration for Trick allowed the NXT champion to recuperate enough and he delivered a big spear to his opponent through the announce desk for the win.

Before Ricky even could even get in the ring to celebrate, however, Oba Femi\’s music hit and the Ruler was shown standing on the stage as the show went off air.

Femi has not been seen on NXT TV since the September 27, No Mercy event, where Ricky Saints ended his 263-day reign with NXT\’s top title.

The Monster-Sized athlete has continued competing at Live Events, where he came face-to-face with the Nigerian Giant Omos recently.

The ending of tonight\’s show likely also indicates the end of Williams\’ quest for the title and we\’ll have to see what the company is planning for him next.

  • Mick Foley Reveals What He Thought Before Taking A Pedigree On Thumbtacks

Mick Foley has reflected on one of his most dangerous stunts ever.

The wrestling legend recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet for a new interview. He discussed things such as how getting hip replacement has changed his life, his I Quit match with The Rock and more.

During the talk, the WWE Hall of Famer was also asked about one of the most brutal spots from his career, when he took a pedigree from Triple H on thumbtacks. Mick Foley revealed that the spot had actually not been approved by Mr. McMahon:

\”First of all, we weren’t supposed to do the tacks. Mr. McMahon said, no thumb tacks. And as soon as he walks away, Triple H says, Did you put the tacks under the ring? I was like [yeah], so we weren’t sure whether we’re going to do it or not.\”

We\’re Going To Go For It: Mick Foley

The infamous spot took place during the 2000 Royal Rumble event. Both Mick Foley and Triple H used the Street Fight stipulation of this match to the full extent, fighting throughout the arena using weapons such as a barbed wire bat.

The Game had already hit one pedigree that had failed to put the Hardcore star away. According to Foley he used his famous \’instantaneous risk-reward-ratio analysis\’ and figured that he would survive the move if he turned his head on landing and closed his eyes really tightly:

\”But then when I kicked out of the pedigree, I don’t think anybody had at that point, maybe the tacks were already out, I’m not sure, but it was like, Yeah, we’re going to go for it.

And I thought to myself, Okay, okay, you could lose an eye, but imagine the pop. I just closed my right eye as tightly as I could, turned my face, and so there was a few sticking in there.\”

Mick Foley also later compared the spot to facing Terry Funk in a no rope barbed wire match back in 1995 and claimed that his chances of coming out unscathed were better with Triple H.

  • Mick Foley\’s Favorite Match Did Not Come From the Attitude Era

Mick Foley has named his greatest match ever.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet. He talked about things such as the origin of his mandible claw finishing move, his tag team with The Rock, and more.

When asked which bout he considers to be the greatest of his career, the wrestling veteran had an interesting choice. Despite having multiple notable encounters in the Attitude Era, Mick Foley said that his favorite match is one against Randy Orton from Backlash 2004.

Foley had returned to the ring only months earlier after a 4-year hiatus for this feud. According to him, it was one of the wisest decisions he ever made:

\”My favorite match was Backlash against Randy Orton. Crazy thing is, if he has a new favorite, I don’t want to know about it. He’s technically, probably had better matches. But the idea of being in that spot, people ask me, you will just say you made somebody.

No one person makes anybody. It takes a lot of people, a lot of factors, and even if the bases were loaded for Randy, it’s still up to him to knock it out of the park. And he did, and one of the wisest decisions I ever made.\”

It Really Made Me Feel Good: Mick Foley

The Backlash 2004 match saw Mick Foley challenging Randy Orton for the IC title in a Hardcore match. Evolution was banned from the ringside for this encounter. The Viper not only won the match but also earned the respect of the fans that night for enduring a great amount of punishment on his own.

Mick Foley noted that he had cancelled a scheduled appearance the day before to get in town early. This allowed him to work out the whole match the night before the PPV with Orton, which was a rarity for the Hardcore star:

\”Even though I had many trials and tribulations getting back home. My luggage was delayed for four hours. I did throw up in the parking lot of Tim Hortons in Edmonton, because my brain had jogged a little bit, but I made it back in time for Raw the next night,

And it was like the fans looked at him like he was a completely different guy. And it really made me feel good.”

The Legend Killer himself had also picked the same bout as the most important performance of his career. You can check out what he said here.

  • Two WarGames Matches Made Official On Raw

    WarGames are on!

This week\’s episode of Raw saw CM Punk demanding a fight after being attacked by The Vision and betrayed by Logan Paul on last week\’s episode of the show. The three heels, accompanied by Paul Heyman, came out on his demand and surrounded the ring.

Before they could take out the world champion, however, Jey Uso made his entrance and stood tall with Punk. Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes also made an appearance to even the odds. A big brawl ensued between the two teams, with the faces standing tall.

The trio of Punk, Rhodes and Uso were then seen in a backstage segment with Adam Pearce. Punk asked the Raw GM to tell Heyman to assemble a team and Pearce asked if this meant what he was thinking. Instead of answering the question, the World Champion yelled the name of William Regal and the wrestling veteran showed up to officially make it WarGames.

This wasn\’t the only WarGames match confirmed on Raw. The main event of the show saw the Kabuki Warriors defeating Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss to win the Women\’s Tag Team Championship. After the bell, Lash Legend and Nia Jax joined the new champs in attacking Flair and Bliss. IYO SKY tried to make the save, but she struggled until Rhea Ripley arrived.

The Mami helped clear the ring, and she sent SKY flying into the heels with a big Razor\’s Edge. The returning star then finally grabbed a mic and uttered the words WarGames to end the show. Survivor Series: WarGames this year will take place on November 29. The teams for both these matches are still incomplete so we can expect more contestants to be announced before that.
