  • Bryan Danielson Explains Reason He\’s Missed John Cena\’s Whole Retirement Run

Bryan Danielson has a very Bryan Danielson reason for not watching John Cena\’s retirement run.

The former AEW Champion spoke to Justin Barrasso for a new interview. He talked about things such as his wrestling status after ending his full-time run, his current health, and more.

During the talk, the wrestling veteran was also asked about the upcoming retirement of his former rival. Danielson revealed that he hasn\’t watched any of Cena\’s retirement run because of his latest experiment:

“I honestly haven’t watched. I’m entering this experimental phase of my life where I’m experiencing less input from media. When I went to visit my mother recently, I made a 13-hour drive. I didn’t listen to any music; I didn’t listen to any podcasts. There was nothing but silence.\”

    I\’m Not Watching: Bryan Danielson

John Cena and Bryan Danielson shared the ring many times during their careers, including the forgotten 2003 WWE Velocity match. Their most famous encounter came at SummerSlam 2013, where The Cenation Leader put Bryan over clean on his way to the WrestleMania 30 main event.

The former WWE star noted that his experiment means a reduced wrestling input, but he still wishes the best to the 17-time world champion in his final year as active performer:

“As I experiment with less input, that also means less wrestling input. So I haven’t seen any of John Cena’s final run. I’m not watching, but I hope it goes really well for John. That guy deserves the last year of his career to be awesome.”

John Cena will be facing Gunther in his retirement match at the upcoming December 13 Saturday Night\’s Main Event. You can check out what Cena had to say about some of his old rivals before his final match here.

  • The Undertaker Reacts To Latest NXT Debut

The Undertaker has reacted to his protégé\’s NXT debut.

This week\’s episode of the Black & Silver show featured the singles debut of former LFG competitor Shiloh Hill. He wrestled a match against Lexis King at the show.

The ending of the bout saw Hill removing his mouthguard and handing it to the referee after a double clothesline spot. The debuting star, now showing missing teeth, then got fired up and won the match after delivering a neck breaker to his opponent.

The WWE Hall of Famer took to X to react to Shiloh\’s first victory on the development brand, joking about how the \’toothless aggression era\’ had officially begun:

Shiloh Hill joined WWE back in 2022 through the NIL program. After a couple of years in development and some NXT Level Up matches, the 26-year-old was recruited in the first season of WWE LFG as the Undertaker\’s rookie.

Hill was the runner-up of the first season of the show, before returning in season 2 and winning the whole thing under the guidance of The Dead Man. He previously wrestled in a battle royal on the NXT brand in May this year, but tonight was his official debut for the show.

  • Returning Star Attacks Ethan Page On NXT

Tony D’Angelo is back on NXT.

This week\’s episode of the development show featured the North American Champion Ethan Page cutting a promo about John Cena\’s upcoming retirement and his own greatness.

After a long promo, footage of The Don walking down a bridge was shown on the big screen before D’Angelo appeared in the ring. He delivered a big spinebuster to the current champion and dropped a scrap of black cloth on him to end the segment.

Page went to General Manager Ava to complain about the attack in a backstage segment afterward, but he didn\’t get a lot of sympathy from the NXT official.

The former D\’Angelo Family leader had been off TV for a while, having last wrestled on screen during the July 15 episode of the Black & Silver show.

He originally made his return to the company during the Deadline PPV this past week, where Tony attacked Je’Von Evans after the latter won the Men\’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at the show.

The returning star has yet to say a word since his reappearance, so it\’s hard to say what the motivations are behind his actions. We should get a better idea about Tony D’Angelo\’s new direction in the coming times.

  • John Cena Puts Current WWE Star Above Shawn Michaels

John Cena has revealed what he thinks about his rivals.

The Cenation Leader spoke to Chris Van Vliet for an interview before his upcoming retirement match. During the talk he was asked to describe some of his legendary wrestling opponents in one word.

He first described Cody Rhodes as \’resilient\’ and called Logan Paul \’underrated.\’ When asked to say something about AJ Styles, John Cena put the Phenomenal One above Shawn Michaels as the best performer of all time:

\”Best to ever do it. Shawn’s gonna be p*ssed, and God did Shawn ever take care of me. There’s not a lot he [Styles] can’t do, and he makes difficult look easy.

But that is not God given talent. That is practice. When you see difficult become seamless, it’s because it’s been done 10,000 times, and the amount of sh*t he can do seamlessly. Man, he’s best to ever do it.\”

Later on, John Cena described CM Punk as his wrestling soulmate, and claimed that there will never be another Brock Lesnar in wrestling, calling him once-in-a-generation talent.

The 17-time world champion is set to face Gunther in his retirement match at December 13 Saturday Night\’s Main Event. You can check out the updated match card for the show with the latest bout announced on Raw here.

  • The Usos Make Career Move On Raw

    The Usos have returned home.

This week\’s episode of Monday Night Raw from Kansas City featured AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defending the tag team championships against The War Raiders.

The ending of this bout saw Styles claiming the victory for his team, delivering a Phenomenal Forearm on Ivar to retain the tag titles.

The champs didn\’t get to celebrate for long as The New Day hopped into the ring. Before anything could be said, however, Jey Uso\’s music surprised everyone.

The Usos Announce Tag Division Return

The YEET Man was accompanied by Jimmy Uso, who explained that he contacted his twin brother after his recent losses and asked what they were going to do about it. Jey Uso then got on the mic and revealed their plan to re-enter the tag team title picture:

“We gon get back to us. We gon block the noise. We gon body ‘em all. Tag division on notice — the best damn tag team is now in your city. Hey, Big Jim, we need gold, Uce!”

The Usos have not held tag team gold in WWE since WrestleMania 39, where they dropped the belts to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in the main event of the show. Now we will have to see how this career move affects Jey\’s mental state.

  • Mystery Man Makes Second Raw Appearance, Gets Involved In Main Event

The mystery man is all over Raw.

The hooded figure who helped The Vision and team win the WarGames last month showed up again on Raw this week. He first helped Logan Paul get out of a beating at the hands of Rey Mysterio, as he delivered a superkick and stomp to the WWE Hall of Famer.

This wasn\’t his only appearance on the night, however, as the mystery man showed up again during the Logan Paul vs. LA Knight match later in the show.

This came after both Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker had been told to leave the ringside by the referee after their blatant interference in the bout.

    The Mystery Man Returns

As the ref was still dealing with the two, the masked man delivered a stomp to Knight on the announce desk before quickly retreating, allowing Paul to get the win.

The Vision delivered a post-match attack on the former Max Dupri before the security helped him to the back. Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker then got on the mic and cut a promo about Breakker\’s upcoming World title match against CM Punk on January 5.

They got distracted when LA Knight was shown backstage, still fighting to get up. Breakker and Bronson Reed went after him, this time finishing their opponent off with a big Tsunami on top of a rental car, to end the show.

  • John Cena Explains Why His Heel Turn Failed

John Cena has explained why his heel turn was not a success.

The Cenation Leader recently sat down with Bill Simmons for a lengthy interview. He touched on topics such as the decision to retire from active competition, feud with AJ Styles and more.

During the interview, Cena also discussed the heel run of his retirement tour in detail. He first talked about how Vince McMahon was never in favor of him turning heel during the former WWE chairman\’s reign, despite the mixed reaction of fans for years.

The 17-time world champion then explained why the much-anticipated heel turn that finally came this year could not live up to the hype. John mentioned that it takes years for a cycle of character change to live up to its full potential, while he had only a few dates to make the most of it:

\”I think a lot of people were wondering, ‘What would happen if John Cena turned heel?’ Then when I did, it left a taste in people’s mouths that they didn’t like it. They wanted other stuff. ‘I wanted a music change, a uniform change, I wanted him to act like this.’

I got 11 months to do this. 36 TV appearances. It takes five years to get a guy over, regardless. If you turn him, it’s gonna take a year or two on television for it really to sink in, especially if you really want to get into it and be able to flip and then get a performer to get a nice flip on the other side when it’s time to turn again. I don’t have the time to tell the right story.\”

    A Sucker\’s Chase: John Cena

After teasing a heel turn at Royal Rumble, John Cena finally turned on Cody Rhodes after winning the Elimination Chamber in March, with a touch from The Rock. This led to Cena winning his record-breaking 17th world title at WrestleMania 41 in April, and the subsequent reign that lasted 105 days, ending at SummerSlam in August.

The Hollywood star only wrestled 5 matches between the two PPVs which included a SmackDown match with R-Truth that ended in no contest. Though despite the complications, the Peacemaker star is not bitter about the experience. He replied negatively when asked if he has any regrets about the run.

This raised the question if he thought the whole thing was executed perfectly, and the wrestling legend explained that perfect is never achievable:

“Not at all. What is perfect? Here is what I do know – perfect is never achievable. I think that’s a sucker’s chase. When I look back on it, could I have given any more than I did? Not a bit. I overprepared. I tried go to every corner of my emotional well-being.

The cool thing is, when the audience began to turn, we turned. They helped it out. That dynamic was a little bit ahead of schedule for let\’s say Cody and I, but it made for a great showing for the summer. ‘Let’s try John like this, I know we have limited time, but let’s do something really big.’ Okay, it didn’t work, didn\’t mean I didn’t give my all.”

John Cena will make his final appearance at the December 13 Saturday Night\’s Main Event. He will face either Gunther or LA Knight at the show that will also feature matches between NXT and main roster stars at Cena\’s request.

  • Nick Khan Finally Reveals Secret of Green Shirt Guy

Nick Khan has finally lifted the veil on one of WWE\’s longest-held mysteries.

The WWE President was recently a guest on Logan Paul\’s Impaulsive podcast. They discussed things such the masked man who appeared at Survivor Series, relationship with Dana White, and more.

During the interview, the WWE President was also asked about the famous Green Shirt Guy that has been a fixture of WWE shows for years. Specifically, Khan was asked how he is able to get front row seats to WWE shows on regular, and Nick explained that the fan always pays for his seats:

“One of the sister companies of WWE and UFC is OnLocation. He pays for his seats. He pays a premium for those seats through OnLocation, and that’s why he gets to be in the front row,”

Nick Khan was also asked about the rumor that the company started giving him free tickets to avoid a lawsuit when The Green Shirt Guy got hurt during a WWE show. The company executive confirmed that it wasn\’t the case.

Elsewhere in the interview, The WWE official talked about John Cena\’s retirement and claimed that there has been no dispute between Triple H and The Cenation Leader in his final run. You can check out the full podcast below:

  • Nick Khan Reveals How WWE Feels About Brock Lesnar\’s Return

Nick Khan is happy to have Brock Lesnar back in WWE.

The company brought back The Beast Incarnate for a match with John Cena at WrestlePalooza. This was done despite considerable backlash from the fans due to his name being mentioned in the Janel Grant Sexual Trafficking lawsuit against former WWE owner Vince McMahon.

Nick Khan, who was brought in by the former WWE chairman back in 2020, recently spoke to UFC legend Daniel Cormier. Speaking on the return of Brock Lesnar, the WWE President claimed that the promotion is honored to have him back in the fold:

\”When he walks into a room, he looks and usually is the baddest dude on the planet. And that’s what he looks like, and that’s his personification.

By the way, he’s a gem to work with. Easy. As long as he knows things in advance, there are no issues. We’re honored to have him back. I’m happy he’s here, and I hope you enjoyed the WarGames match he was in.”

Lesnar wrestled in his second match since his return at Survivor Series, where he teamed up with Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre and The Vision in the WarGames main event. The heels went on to beat the babyface team of Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and The Usos.

Though the booking of this bout seems to have caused some tensions behind the scenes and Triple H confirmed that there was backstage politics involved in it. You can check out his remarks on the matter here.

  • John Cena Facing New Lawsuit Before Retirement Match

John Cena is facing an unexpected challenge before his final match.

The Cenation Leader, alongside WWE, TKO, producer Jake One, among others, have been accused of using an unlicensed music sample to create Cena\’s theme song The Time Is Now without proper credit.

A lawsuit filed on Tuesday in the Southern District of New York alleges that the iconic horn music that opens and can be heard throughout the theme song was copied from a 1974 instrumental cover of The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia.

According to the complaint, the horn elements, which were not present in the original Bobby Russell composition, were arranged by Canadian bandleader Pete Schofield, and his daughter, Kim Schofield, now owns the rights to it.

The lawsuit notes that the owners reached a written settlement with WWE in 2017 over the use of the sound sample, and received a one-time payment of $50,000. Schofield is now claiming, however, that the company withheld key information during negotiations of this agreement.

It is also said that the company violated the 2017 agreement by releasing a new version of the theme song in 2019, and is seeking more than $150,000 in damages.

John Cena is set to compete in his retirement match during the upcoming Saturday Night\’s Main Event on December 13, with either LA Knight or Gunther being his final opponent.

  • Early Favorite To Win Royal Rumble Revealed

An early Royal Rumble favorite has emerged.

While the show is still almost 2 months away, there are no main roster PPVs scheduled for December or January 2026, so the talk about potential Royal Rumble winners has already begun.

Fightful Select recently provided an update on this matter, noting that as of right now, Bron Breakker is the \’white board\’ favorite to win the prestigious battle royal next year.

The whiteboard is a reference to the board seen on WWE Unreal, which the creative team uses to map out different scenarios and storyline options for shows.

This is an interesting update as Breakker is already scheduled to face CM Punk for the World Title at the January 5 Raw, after pinning the Heavyweight Champion in the WarGames match at Survivor Series.

The show also saw Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns renewing their rivalry after the loss, and the popular belief is that these two WWE megastars are headed towards another WrestleMania match next year.

A Royal Rumble victory for Breakker would suggest that the company is planning to stretch the rivalry between the Vision and the Straight Edge Star and the feud will not conclude before the Show of Shows.

Things could change in wrestling, however, and there is enough time for the upcoming PPV that the creative could change their minds.

  • Bryan Danielson On Talents Refusing To Lose In Wrestling

Bryan Danielson doesn\’t think losing a match should be a big deal in wrestling.

The wrestling veteran recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet for a new interview. He talked about things such as the Yes Movement, winning the Money In The Bank, being in the WrestleMania 30 main event, and more.

During the interview, Bryan was also asked about his WrestleMania 28 loss to Sheamus. When asked if he had inquired about the match finishing being set up the way it was, the former world champion explained that he has never been someone who complains too much about his booking.

According to him, you can put a little resistance, but the end of the day it\’s about doing the best you can with what you\’ve been given:

\”I find that a lot of people put up stinks about a lot of things, or whatever it is, but I think, Okay, if you have an idea, it’s like well what if we do this? ‘Nope, we want to do that.’

I mean, you can put up a little resistance if you really don’t like something, but then if this is what the boss wants, you’re better off to do your absolute best at what the boss wants, and then try to get over from that.\”

    It\’s Not Real: Bryan Danielson

Bryan Danielson was accompanied by AJ Lee for his world title defence against Sheamus at WrestleMania 28. The American Dragon ended up losing the match in just 18 seconds after being distracted by a good luck kiss from Lee, and eating a Brogue Kick. The loss did not affect Bryan\’s momentum, however, as he went on to main event the Show of Shows just two years later.

The former AEW Champion gave the example of Swerve Strickland, who also rose to prominence after initial losses in his AEW run. He explained the people should not take their booking seriously because it\’s a scripted show:

\”I think a great example in AEW is Swerve Strickland. He came in and he lost a lot of matches, but it was always like, ‘Yeah Tony, whatever you need. I’ll go out there and do it.’

Then now look at him. He’s main evented pay-per-views. He’s a world champion. He’s fantastic. There will be people who will take the other idea of, oh, I don’t want to do that, or I don’t even want to lose, or this or that, or whatever. Man, it’s not real [laughs].\”

The 44-year-old later explained his point by mentioning that wrestling is not MMA, and you don\’t have to win every match. He claimed that he\’s always been \’a little bit perplexed\’ with talents refusing to lose their matches.

  • Bayley Discusses Potential Backstage Roles After Wrestling Retirement

Bayley would like to continue being part of wrestling world after she retires from in-ring action.

The WWE veteran recently appeared on Undertaker\’s podcast. She talked about things such as being one of the four Horsewoman, her NXT career, being left off WrestleMania 41 card and more.

During the interview, she was also asked if she envisions herself working behind-the-scene after retiring from in-ring action. Bayley mentioned that she doesn\’t know if she will fit into the writers room but noted that she could become a producer. The former Women\’s Champion revealed that she has produced some stuff in NXT recently:

“Maybe like producing, I would enjoy that. I sat for the girls’ match with the headset. And I’ve done it a few times, I’ve produced stuff in NXT, It’s very hard, and I don’t know if I’d be a good producer right now. I see myself more as like a coach or if I were to open a school, you know, coaching and stuff, it’s very different than producing.\”

    Just Wear Another Hat: Bayley

While Bayley did not give a timetable for potential retirement, she mentioned how she would like to help young talents as much as she can before hanging her boots.

She gave the example of Roxanne Perez as someone she would like to help if she can as a producer, while continuing her own career:

“I feel like Roxanne, she’s 23. Like, okay, if I could be a producer and be around and producing your match, that would be awesome. So I have that, like, okay, maybe I should try to learn how to do that better so I can be around and be part of it and just wear another hat.”

Bayley is also holding a free three days Women\’s wrestling seminar this week in Orlando, FL. It could be a precursor to her post-WWE career whenever the female star decides to end her run an active star.

  • Pat McAfee WWE Return Timeline Revealed by Nick Khan

Pat McAfee will be back on WWE TV when he can.

The WWE star took a hiatus from commentary in June this year citing mental exhaustion. While he made a one-night return for the WrestlePalooza PPV in September, the 38-year-old has not been a regular for the company since.

WWE President Nick Khan was the latest guest on McAfee\’s show, and he asked the former NFL star when he would be returning to the promotion. Pat joked that he was in shape to make a comeback now.

Khan then claimed that he had gotten six messages from people wondering when McAfee would return to WWE during the interview. He suggested that they would bring Pat back when college football season slows down:

“We’re going to bring you back. I know you, and I are going to sit together once college football slows.”

The retired football star had been brought back to WWE for Raw\’s debut on Netflix. His latest stint was cause for some controversy, as Corey Graves had publicly vented about being sent down to NXT to make room for Pat McAfee on the main roster.

McAfee also wrestled a match against Gunther at Backlash during his last WWE run. This latest conversation suggests he might be open to an in-ring return down the line as well.

  • Bayley Reflects On Disheartening WrestleMania 41 Snub

Bayley has reflected on being pulled off WrestleMania 41.

The former Women\’s Champion recently appeared on Undertaker\’s Six Feet Under podcast. She talked about things such as her retirement plans, AJ Lee returning to WWE and more.

The female star was also asked about being pulled off WrestleMania 41 at the last second. Bayley explained that she took the whole thing as a test:

“The day they took me out? It was the day before. It’s a test. I feel like every time I get thrown stuff, it’s like I’m just being tested. Not by the company, by the universe and the world it trying to test me. It was rough. It was a little bittersweet.”

    It Was Rough: Bayley

Bayley had been involved in a storyline with Lyra Valkyria and the two were originally scheduled to compete for the Women\’s Tag titles against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez at WrestleMania 41 night 2. During the night 1 pre-show, however, The Hugger was shown to have been attacked backstage and pulled off the match.

The returning Becky Lynch would replace the fellow Horsewoman in the match and win the tag titles with Valkyria. Bayley suggested that she wasn\’t informed of this change of plans in advance and she felt bummed after putting in the effort to make the tag team with Lyra work:

“When I was told what was happening, I was like, ‘Oh, now I’m bummed.’ For one, I’m not at WrestleMania. For two, we put all this work in and I really tried to make us look like a team. It was rough, but it becoming part of a storyline and it becoming what it is now made it a little bit nicer.\”

Bayley later mentioned that a number of people including CM Punk, reached out to her at the time and consoled her, sharing their own similar experiences.

  • AEW Women\’s Tag Title Tournament Finals Set for Winter Is Coming

A couple of new matches have been announced for the Winter Is Coming special of Dynamite next week.

Tony Khan had previously announced that Samoa Joe would be defending his AEW Title against Eddie Kingston at the special, after the latter had called out the World Champion.

The Love Bombs will now face Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron, known as Babes of Wrath, in the finals of the tournament to determine the Inaugural Women\’s tag champions next week.

This wasn\’t the only match announced for the show tonight as the company confirmed that  ‘Hangman’ Adam Page will be taking on Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata of The Opps in a tag team match at the show.

Page\’s tag team partner has not been announced as of this writing, but latest events indicate that it could be none other than his arch-rival Swerve Strickland.

The match this year will take place on December 17, Holiday Bash special of AEW\’s flagship show. The two finalists of the match will then square off against each other at the December 24 Dynamite On 34th Street special.

The winner of this bout will go on to challenge the AEW World Champion Samoa Joe, for the title at Dynamite Maximum Carnage set for January 14, 2026.

No names have been announced for the match yet, but MJF has famously won the bout every year since its introduction back in 2019.

The Salt of the Earth is currently taking time off from AEW programming for the filming of Violent Night 2. He has not been seen since the All Out PPV in September, where Mark Briscoe defeated MJF in a Tables \’n\’ Tacks match.

There is no word on if the former AEW Champion will actually be making his return to the company with this bout, but it seems to be the perfect opportunity to reintroduce the young star on TV.

  • Triple H Reveals What He Told John Cena Backstage After Survivor Series

Triple H has commented on John Cena\’s Survivor Series performance.

The Game appeared on the Survivor Series post-show, where he was asked about the PPV. The WWE Creative Head focused his attention first on the IC title match between John Cena and Dominik Mysterio, revealing what he told the Cenation Leader backstage afterward:

\”Let\’s first talk about the Intercontinental Championship match. And let\’s talk about John Cena. I said it when he walked back in the gorilla position when the night was over, \’It was an honor to watch that.\’ It really was, John is just knocking it out of the park, and now we\’re down to one. There is just one left.\”

Blown That Out of The Water: Triple H

Triple H was also asked what is the ceiling for Dominik Mysterio after he beat John Cena tonight. The wrestling veteran claimed that there isn\’t a ceiling for Dirty Dom at all:

\”Boy, the ceiling for Dominik Mysterio, there just isn\’t one. At his age, to accomplish the things that he\’s accomplished. You know how difficult that is, to do the things he\’s doing, to make the decisions that he has.

To step into the ring with John Cena, to beat John Cena, to have Liv Morgan on his arm, to have the people that he has around him advising him.

A guy that you go back not that long ago, just a few years ago, and people would have said, \’There is no real future there.\’ He has blown that all out of the water, and it\’s an incredible thing to watch.\”

Elsewhere in the show, Triple H discussed the Men\’s WarGames match and confirmed that there was a lot of backstage politics involved in it. You can check out his remarks here.

  • Stephanie McMahon Confirms Role In John Cena\’s Retirement Match

Stephanie McMahon will be present for John Cena\’s retirement match.

The former WWE Executive sat down with Megan Morant before Survivor Series to discuss the legacy of the Cenation Leader as well as her Hall of Fame induction.

During the talk, she was asked how she is going to feel about John Cena\’s retirement as a fan. Stephanie McMahon noted that she had not thought about it until now, and revealed that she will actually be co-hosting Cena\’s final show:

\”Well, I\’m actually co-hosting with Joe Tessitore, so I\’m gonna have to rein those emotions in a little bit. But no, I haven\’t thought about how I was gonna feel.

I\’ve only been thinking about John, but I have to say, I have had the most unbelievable blessings in my life. To be there to see a star be born, and then see that star go out on their shield, so to speak, it\’s such a privilege.

It\’s something that I can\’t really put into words. I\’ve never really even thought about it. You know, so much from my perspective. But to be a part of this business in any way is special, especially to know someone and to have been a part of such a remarkable journey.\”

John Cena dropped the IC title back to Dominik Mysterio at Survivor Series, after Liv Morgan made her surprise return and low-blowed the Hollywood star.

The 17-time world champion does not have any more weekly TV or PPV appearances left after tonight. He is going to wrestle his final match at the December 13, Saturday Night\’s Main Event.

  • Triple H Hints At Roman Reigns WrestleMania Plans After Survivor Series

Triple H has suggested potential WrestleMania plans for Roman Reigns.

The heels picked up the victory in the Men\’s WarGames match at Survivor Series with help from a mystery figure. The duo of Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes seemingly renewed their rivalry after this loss. The American Nightmare refused to be helped up by Reigns while The Tribal Chief proclaimed that it was the last time they will team together.

The Game was asked if this ending was a preview to WrestleMania during his appearance on Survivor Series post-show. Triple H mentioned that the Head of the Table seems to be on a collision course with either CM Punk or Cody Rhodes, and he will have to make a decision on it soon:

“When you have a star the size of Roman Reigns, he transcends the world title, he transcends the Royal Rumble, he transcends the Elimination Chamber. Does he really need to qualify or does he just call his shot?

That’s a decision that we here in the WWE need to make very shortly. I have a feeling that one of those two guys, CM Punk or Cody Rhodes, is on a collision course with Roman Reigns. It’s going to be interesting to see where that goes.”

Triple H also compared Roman to The Undertaker after his performance at the show tonight. He claimed that the Bloodline leader has almost transcended to a point in the business where he\’s bigger than any championship.

Seth Rollins was believed to be the planned WrestleMania opponent for Roman before the Architect\’s injury. Now we will have to see which one of the two world champions he faces at the Show of Shows instead.

  • Triple H Confirms Backstage Dispute In Men\’s WarGames Match

Triple H has confirmed backstage tensions over the Men\’s WarGames match.

The Survivor Series main event was jam packed with star power as names such as CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar entered the match beyond. There were some rumors of creative differences among all the big names before the show, specifically regarding the order of their entrance.

The WWE Creative Head seemingly confirmed these speculations during his appearance on the Survivor Series post show. Triple H claimed that lobbying and politics were involved in the booking of the match:

“When you have Brock Lesnar, who does not team well with others. When you have Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, CM Punk, Logan Paul.

All these people that are in there putting things out at another level, and you see that competitive nature.

The lobbying, the politics, the backstage tension tonight, you can cut it with a knife. It was epic. You saw that in people’s performances.”

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns were the two final contestants who entered the bout from their respective sides. The Beast got the upper hand over the Tribal Chief early on. It was the duo of CM Punk and Cody Rhodes that neutralised the threat, with a GTS and Cross Rhodes combo.

The ending of the bout was equally surprising as a hooded figure helped Bron Breakker pin CM Punk and left without ever revealing his face. You can check out the spoiler on his identity here.

  • Huge Spoiler: Identity of Mystery Man From Survivor Series Revealed

The identity of the mystery man from the main event of tonight\’s Survivor Series PPV has seemingly been revealed.

The finishing moments of tonight\’s PLE saw Bron Breaker and CM Punk coming face to face as a mystery figure climbed into the ring. The man dressed completely in black looked at both the contestants for a moment before choosing to attack Punk.

He delivered a superkick followed by a Stomp to the World Champion, reminding everyone of Seth Rollins. The man left Breaker to pin Punk without revealing his identity however, leaving the fans buzzing.

    The Man Behind The Mystery

Now Fightful Select has provided a big update on this matter. According to them, WWE sources claim the man behind the hood is none other than a returning Austin Theory.

The former A-Town Down Under star had been dealing with an undisclosed injury and he has not wrestled since July this year. His tag team with Grayson Waller had also been disbanded quietly as Waller aligned himself with the New Day.

Theory using the Stomp makes sense, as he has some history with Rollins. The young star was briefly aligned with the former World Champion during his Monday Night Messiah run early in his main roster career.

How this will play out with Rollins having been kicked out of the group he founded is anyone\’s guess. It\’ll be interesting to see how things unfold when the Visionary returns from his shoulder injury.

  • Roman Reigns And Cody Rhodes Singal At Renewed Rivalry After WarGames Loss

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are back to being foes.

The two arch rivals reluctantly teamed up with CM Punk and The Usos to face Brock Lesnar and his team in the WarGames match at tonight\’s Survivor Series PPV.

Despite the destruction caused by The Beast Incarnate, the faces still seemed to be in the match. This was until a mystery man showed up to help Bron Breakker win the bout for his team.

The heels left the ring after the bell, but the faces remained, contemplating their loss. Roman Reigns then surprisingly offered his hand to Punk, who was still down, and helped the Straight Edge Star back up to his feet.

Cody Rhodes, however, refused a similar gesture from the Head of The Table. The Undisputed WWE Champion got up on his own, signalling the end of this temporary alliance.

The two stars had a long stare down and Reigns told Cody that it was the last time they will team together before the PPV broadcast came to an end:

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns each hold one WrestleMania victory against the other. So the possibility of a third match is always there. We\’ll have to see if this is the new direction for the Tribal Chief in coming times after Seth Rollins was injured.
