  • Matt Hardy Shocked By Recent TNA Changes

Matt Hardy was as surprised by the recent TNA changes as the fans.

The Anthem management recently shook things up behind the scenes in the wrestling promotion. There were a number of key executives fired by the company, such as Chief Revenue Officer Rob Kligman and Digital Department head Michael Shewchenko. For the fans, the most shocking departure was that of longtime performer and producer Gail Kim.

The Broken One talked about the recent changes in the latest episode of his podcast. Talking about Kim, Hardy noted that her departure came as a huge shock to him too:

“The Gail Kim departure was definitely shocking, very unexpected. I don’t think you could have asked anyone if that was on their list of somebody that would be released — I don’t think anybody thought that would have been a possibility. So yeah, huge huge shock and even reading that news, it was hard to believe that it actually went down.\”

Matt Hardy mentioned that Gail Kim was universally loved in the promotion, and the female performers felt blessed to have her on the roster. According to Hardy, Kim always fought hard for the women\’s division. Though, he noted that he is unaware of the reason behind this move as it\’s above his pay grade.

She Is Very Giving: Matt Hardy

When asked what made the former Knockouts Champion so special, the current TNA tag team champion noted how Gail Kim was one of the leaders of the women\’s revolution. She was leading the Knockouts division in showing that women can have serious matches similar to men, at a time when WWE was still stuck in the divas era:

\”I think she was a real standout and a real trailblazer, groundbreaker when it came to the style that women started working. Now that she has moved past that and she\’s hurt and she\’s beat up. She obviously put her body through a lot of wear and tear. I think she\’s got a real good mindset and knowing also how to optimize your match. Make a match great but optimize it.

I think the girls feel very comfortable with her. They\’re very trusting of her just because she has been around for so long and she has such a great track record not only of in-ring performances and breaking barriers in the women\’s division, Knockouts division whatever division you call it but she is someone that they feel like has their best interest in mind. She\’s very giving.

She\’s very selfless in many ways, especially if she\’s putting stuff together, she doesn\’t really play favorites. She wants everyone to go out there and steal the show. She wants all of the women to stand out and look great. I think she\’s truly there for the greater good of wherever she\’s working.\”

  • Aleister Black\’s WWE Return Date Potentially Revealed

Fans believe they have figured out the WWE return date for Aleister Black.

The company has been airing mystery vignettes for two different stars on SmackDown over the past few weeks. Rey Fenix was revealed to be behind one set of the mystery videos on this week\’s episode of the show. The high-flying star is now set to make his debut for the promotion next week.

The company has continued to withhold information about the other set of the vignettes believed to be indicating towards the WWE return of the former NXT Champion. Though after this week, some believe they have figured out the date for Black\’s return as well.

    — LuigiWrestling (@LuigiWrestling) March 28, 2025

All the previous video packages had featured the number 4 with some other signs that were hard to decipher. The video shown on this week\’s episode of the Blue Branded show, however, also featured the Roman numerals for number 25 for a very brief moment.

Putting both the numbers together, fans believe that this is an indication that the former AEW star will be making his return to the company during the April 25 episode of SmackDown.

That will be the first episode of the show following WrestleMania 41 so it would make sense for the company to create buzz for it with the big return.

Whether the former champion\’s return is officially announced beforehand or if the company keeps it a secret untill then will be something we have to see.

  • Mike Tyson Comments On Potential WWE Return

Mike Tyson has reacted to the idea of a potential WWE return.

The legendary boxer recently had an interview with Bleacher Report to promote his new skincare line with Dr. Squatch. During the interview, he talked about things such as his match with Jake Paul, the current state of the boxing world and more.

When asked about potentially returning to the ring again after the Jake Paul fight, Tyson said that right now he\’s having fun enjoying the money he made from the match that broke all box office records:

\”Everything is possible, but I\’m having a good time right now just chilling. I\’m just having fun boxing with my accountant now, the fact is, hey, if somebody breaks my record, I might come back.\”

When the idea of a potential WWE return was brought up, the 58-year-old said, \”Oh God, I would love to do that, that\’s me at my childhood best, I had a great time.\” Mike Tyson was also asked if there is any talent in particular, he\’d like to get in the ring with, and the boxing veteran claimed that he can take on \’all of them\’ in one big battle royal.

The New York native has worked with WWE on many occasions. Apart from his famous WrestleMania 14 appearance, he was also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 and was part of the WWE ‘13 video game.

He also had a short run with All Elite Wrestling in 2021, so the possibility of him returning to Tony Khan\’s promotion instead of WWE is also real.

  • Spoiler: Top NXT Star To Challenge For TNA Title At Rebellion PPV

A top NXT star is set to challenge the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry at next PPV of the company.

The NXT Roadblock event earlier this month featured multiple TNA stars in title matches. This included current X-Division Champion Moose challenging Oba Femi for the NXT title.

The latest TNA TV tapings from St. Joseph, Missouri saw WWE\’s development brand returning the favor by sending one of their top stars in Ethan Page.

Page ended up getting involved with the TNA Champion Joe Hendry. Their confrontation led to the announcement of a triple threat world title match for the upcoming TNA Rebellion PPV featuring Page, Hendry, and Frankie Kazarian.

Ethan Page had a run with TNA from 2017 to 2021 before he joined AEW. Originally introduced as Chandler Park, the cousin of Joseph Park aka Abyss, the 35-year-old later turned to his Ethan Page persona in the company.

The current NXT star got to share the ring with the likes of RVD, Sabu and Tommy Dreamer during his time with TNA. He also formed a successful tag team with Josh Alexander. Collectively known as The North, the duo had multiple runs with the Impact tag titles.

TNA Rebellion PPV is set to take place from the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California. The Hardy Boyz are set to defend the TNA tag titles against the Nemeth Brothers at the April 27 event. An Ultimate X-Match has also been announced for the PPV with Moose putting his X Division title on the line.

  • Rey Fenix\’s WWE Debut Date Confirmed

Rey Fenix\’s WWE debut date is set.

The company has been teasing the arrival of the high-flying star in recent weeks with vignettes showing a masked star running the ropes on SmackDown.

A lot of fans have been wondering if officials will save Fenix\’s debut for the shows after WrestleMania 41 but it appears that we will not have to wait that long.

The company announced on this week\’s episode of the Blue Branded Show that the former Lucha Underground star will be making his debut on next week\’s SmackDown on April 4. The episode emanating from the Allstate Arena in Chicago will see the show returning to America after their European tour:

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"

Rey Fenix ended his 6 years run with All Elite Wrestling earlier this year. He won many titles during his time with the promotion, including multiple tag title reigns and a run with the International title.

Penta already made his debut for the company in January after getting out of his deal early. Reports initially suggested that the two brothers were looking to work together and they would be reunited once Rey got his release from AEW.

With Penta becoming a singles sensation on Raw, however, it appears that WWE is in no hurry to reform this tag team. As Fenix is set to join the SmackDown roster instead, it could be a while before the two interact on screen again.

  • The Rock Misses UFL Appearance After Plane Malfunction In Air

The Rock is safe after an airplane malfunction.

The Great One was scheduled to make a UFL appearance in Texas tonight but he missed the show. In a new video on social media, The former world champion apologized to everyone who was expecting him in the venue. He revealed that his plane malfunctioned as he was flying from his home in Hawaii, and they had to turn back around:

\”I\’m so sorry I can\’t be there with you guys. Last night we had some issues with the plane. About 35 to 40 minutes into the flight the pilot comes back to me. He gets down on one knee and he faces me face-to-face and it\’s just me on the plane. Just me and the crew.

He says \’Mr. Johnson I\’m sorry to inform you but we cannot continue to fly over the ocean. We have a problem. We have to turn the plane around and we have to land back in Hawaii. You have my word, I will land you back safely on the island\’ I so appreciate his demeanour, his name is Captain David I appreciate his demeanour in that moment. He explained to me what happened, and he said it was a hydraulics issue with overheating.\”

Super bummed I can’t be in Texas but so grateful we were able to land the plane safely.

So sorry to our @TheUFL fans, players, coaches, staff and our teams at @FOXSports @espn I’m not there.

Let’s have a great season 2 opening weekend, have fun, and ball out. pic.twitter.com/9FgwLIUSS5

    — Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) March 29, 2025

One of Those Moments: The Rock

The Rock noted that it was one of those moments that made him realize what is truly important in life. So he is grateful that they were able to land safely:

\”When you\’re back there alone with just your drink and you\’re thinking about this and you\’re just, You got everything crossed hoping you make it back safely. You start to realize really quickly of the shit that\’s really important in life.

Then you realize the shit that doesn\’t matter that you\’ve been thinking about and worrying about. Anyway I had one of those moments last night. Bottomline is I\’m grateful to be back on ground. I\’m grateful to be back home in Hawaii.\”

The People\’s Champion has not been seen on WWE programming since the Elimination Chamber PPV. So far he has not been announced for another appearance in the Road to WrestleMania.

  • Baron Corbin Details His Issues With Logan Paul\’s WWE Involvement

Baron Corbin has explained his problems with Logan Paul being featured on WWE TV.

The former WWE star recently had an interview with Ariel Helwani. He talked about things such as Triple H taking over the creative from Vince McMahon, his NXT run, how one person conspired to get him fired from the company, and more.

Corbin also gave his thoughts on Logan Paul\’s involvement with the company and the involvement of celebrity wrestlers in general. The ever-controversial YouTube star has impressed people with his in-ring outings since joining the company in 2022. Though there are many who have criticised Paul being put into prominent positions, believing that the spots should go to performers who grind all year.

When asked if Logan has the respect of the WWE locker room after some impressive matches, Corbin said that he is not sure. When pressed about it, the former US Champion admitted that Paul works hard and that there is some truth to his promos. At the same time however, the wrestling star noted that some of the stuff irritates him as well, especially when Logan is not on the road grinding constantly like other talents:

\”I just don’t like those guys that get that super special treatment. It’s not like he earned it from working his way up through NXT. He gets that treatment because of his stardom through social media and through YouTube. So I think he’s handed a lot of things that I think there are more deserving talent of it, but he’s getting the views. And so it’s a double-edged sword. Like, what do you do with a guy like that?\”

I Can\’t Stand People With An Entourage: Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin reiterated that Logan Paul works hard on his performances and noted that the company sends talents to Puerto Rico to help him train. The wrestling veteran who now goes by the name Bishop Dyer explained that he finds it hard to buy into the struggle of people who have been born with a golden spoon:

\”I can’t stand people who run around with an entourage. He’s always got an entourage. They’re nice people, but it just irritates me seeing that backstage. But I think people respect the work that he brings to the table, and the work he’s done to get his name where it is.\”

The Constable then recalled his own experience working with Logan Paul during his Happy and Sad Corbin runs. He noted that Paul was nice to him and admitted that the exposure he brings to the table is valuable. Though Baron also claimed that he is tired of seeing Prime bottles:

\”There’s 85 percent of the roster that are fighting for spots, and when they bring guys like that in, it just takes those spots without any effort. I think that can be frustrating. So when I say maybe, maybe not, it’s probably a 50/50 split.\”

The former Mr Money In The Bank closed out his remarks talking about how he\’s somebody who had to work his way up the WWE ladder and go through some tough periods in his career. So it\’s hard for him to become friends with someone who is given the opportunity without the hard work, when there are other talents who are constantly working on their craft to get better.

  • Mandy Rose Feels \’A Little Bit Erased\’ From WWE History

Mandy Rose doesn\’t know where her relationship with WWE stands.

The former Absolution member was once considered a future star for the company and she was involved in some memorable storylines in the promotion. Her run with the orginzation came to an abrupt end in 2022, however, after the management reportedly discovered explicit pictures, she posted on subscription websites.

Rose, real name Amanda Saccomanno, talked about her relationship with the company in a new interview with Busted Open Radio. The former NXT Women\’s Champion was asked about making a potential appearance in WWE and Mandy said that she doesn\’t know if the officials will accept her back:

\”I don\’t know if they look at me like they would accept me back in a way. I don\’t know how they feel. I\’ve never had a conversation, but I just I don\’t know. Do they think? Are they really offended with what happened? Maybe they just don\’t want to be associated with me anymore in a sense because you know, I\’m kind of, I feel like I\’m a little bit erased in certain scenarios.\”

A Little Bit Erased: Mandy Rose

Mandy Rose recently lashed out at WWE for branding Stephanie Vaquer as the first-ever double champion in the history of NXT. Rose argued that she held both the NXT Women\’s and NXT UK Women\’s titles at the same time. Fans have since pointed out, however that Rose actually ended up unifying the belts into one, while Vaquer holds both the NXT and the North American titles separately.

Despite the factual difference however, the former WWE star does not feel like she gets the respect she deserves. According to the former Tough Enough star, she feels a little bit erased from the WWE history:

\”I mean NXT did mention me not too long ago. I saw like a promo package when they were talking about the women\’s champion or the women in general of like evolving and all that, which was cool. So I\’m like, okay, that gave me a little hope, a little glimmer of hope of like, \’Oh, okay, I got a little recognition there\’ which was cool. But yeah, I just feel like I am a little bit erased from their rolodex of superstars. I don\’t know. I could be wrong though.\”

  • Kevin Owens Blasts Old WWE Management For Insulting Fans

Kevin Owens is happy that the new WWE management does not insult the intelligence of the fans.

The old WWE management under Vince McMahon was notorious for changing things last minute and not following up on angles. A lot of the time, they would ignore events that took place just weeks ago, and make characters act irrationally, thinking that the fans did not remember things.

This is not the case with the new WWE management under Triple H, thankfully. Not only does the new management make sure that storylines have better continuity but fans are now rewarded for paying attention to small details and easter eggs that become catalysts for big changes.

Owens talked about this change during a new interview with the Unlikely podcast. He discussed how there has been a shift in mindset encouraged by the people at the top:

“Yeah, it’s definitely been a shift in mindset from people at the top, that our fans are smart, and watch our product, and pay attention, and remember things. And can remember things a lot better than other people that were in charge before thought they would, because I guess they didn’t remember half of the stuff we did. But the fans do, ‘cause the fans care and pay attention to what we do.\”

Makes The Product Way Better: Kevin Owens

While Kevin Owens did not name Vince McMahon directly, he noted how he often had to fight the top brass back in the day over continuity issues. This is not the case with Triple H however as he knows that the fans are very intelligent:

\”I had arguments with the people in charge before where I was like, ‘No, this happened three weeks ago, they’re gonna remember.’ And they said, ‘No they won’t.’ I’m like, ‘Yes they will. You’re insulting their intelligence by pretending they won’t.’ But obviously, Triple H does not think like that. He knows fans remember, and he applies it and he uses it, and it makes the product way better, in my opinion.\”

Owens later also talked about his own experience as a fan before he entered the business. He noted how even at a young age he remembered things that happened before and could recognize changes such as when a wrestler was repackaged with a different gimmick.

  • Cedric Alexander Received Death Threats Over Viral Wrestling Moment

Cedric Alexander has recalled getting death threats over a viral wrestling moment.

The Cruiserweight star spoke to Chris Van Vliet for his first post-WWE interview. He discussed things such as his first reaction to his release from the company, possible AEW signing, and more.

Since Candice LeRae made her WWE Raw debut tonight, let’s not forget the time she took a Lumbar Check from Cedric Alexander #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/CwH8j3OMih

    — Bui Club (@BuiClub) September 27, 2022

During the interview, Cedric also talked about his finishing move, the Lumbar Check. Alexander recalled using the move on Candice LeRae during an indie show before either of them were signed to WWE. According to him LeRae sold the move so well that he actually received death threats over it when the moment went viral:

\”The moment I got her up and threw in the air, if you’ve watched the viral clip of it. You hear someone go, ‘Oh no’, bang, and she flies over my head by the rope. And I’m like, I just killed Candice. All right, moving on to the next part.

And then I wake up the next morning. It’s viral on Twitter and millions and millions of views, I got death threats. Yeah, people thought I killed Candice. People legit thought I killed Candice.”

Cedric Alexander had multiple encounters with Candice LeRae in the independent circuit before their WWE signing. The match he\’s talking about took place at the AIW Absolution X event in July 2015, where both the wrestling veterans competed in a Six Way Scramble for the promotion.

Apart from this, the former Cruiserweight Champion revealed the origin of the Lumber Check. He noted that the move was inspired by lumbar intrusion used by the Sub-Zero character in Mortal Kombat. According to Alexander, he came up with the name while brainstorming for ideas with his wife Big Swole.

  • Cedric Alexander Reveals Immediate Reaction To WWE Release

Cedric Alexander has revealed his first thoughts on his WWE release.

The former Cruiserweight Champion recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet for a new interview. He talked about things such as potentially joining the Hurt Syndicate in AEW, his relationship with Triple H and more.

During the interview, Alexander also discussed how he was not surprised when the call for his release came in last month. According to him, he kept his mindset positive, looking at it as a loss of job but not as a loss of his career:

“So I immediately thought to myself when I was released, I was like, Okay, that’s a job. Wrestling is my career. I may be out of a job, but I still have a career.\”

You Just Move On: Cedric Alexander

Cedric Alexander also recalled how fellow WWE alumni Mustafa Ali helped keep him positive. Ali, who had a similar journey in WWE before his 2023 release, has become an independent wrestling sensation since then.

The former Hurt Business member revealed that Ali called him as soon as he heard the news, giving him advice for post-WWE career:

\”All thanks to [Mustafa] Ali, he’s one of the guys that called me within the hour of me being released and was immediately like, hey dude, it’s all good. Just being super positive as you know Ali is, but yeah man, it sucked because it’s a dream job.

It’s one of those jobs that I’m a kid and I’m like oh my god, I’m gonna wrestle for WWE. Then when it ends, it just ends. You just move on.”

The former champion noted that he expected himself to be angry upon his release, but he actually felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

  • Baron Corbin Divulges Conspiracy Behind WWE Release

Baron Corbin believes his WWE release was premeditated.

The former US Champion was one of the most shocking WWE departures of 2024. After his exit from the company, the wrestling veteran has suggested multiple times that someone high up in the company did not want him to be part of the roster.

The former WWE star who goes by the ring name Bishop Dyer now, once again talked about the issue in a new interview with Ariel Helwani. While Corbin did not reveal the name of the person, he suggested that his 2023 NXT run was arranged by them. The 40-year-old explained that they were hoping to create a situation to get rid of him but his success in the development brand foiled their plans:

\”They have a good amount of power and I just don\’t…..for some reason they\’re not a fan of me or what I do. They were part of the thing that pushed me to go down to NXT and do some matches which I think was kind of like \’I will put them down there for a little bit. He\’ll complain or he\’ll do something and it won\’t work and then that gives us a reason.\’

Then when I went down there and just killed it and caught on fire and became a baby face for the first time in my career and the audiences were behind me and they loved the wolf dog stuff. They couldn\’t deny that it wasn\’t working.\”

If You Have One Persson: Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin revealed that he\’s talked to several people who have confirmed that the one person was against him. Per the former champion, they didn\’t give up on trying to sabotage his career even after the failed NXT attempt. Corbin suggested that they made efforts to keep him off TV after he returned to main roster, ultimately leading to his release from the company:

\”So then when I got back up to the main roster that person had power again. I think that I got shelved and then…Anybody it doesn\’t matter who it is. If you have one person that\’s kind of that guy that\’s always like \’Uh, not for him. Let\’s not use him for that. He\’s not working.\’ Then other people are like \’Oh well, I\’m not going to pitch ideas for that person because this guy\’s going to shoot it down\’ stuff like that.\”

  • Adam Copeland Responds To Criticism Of His Unexpected Strong Booking

Adam Copeland has defended himself against the criticism of his boking.

The AEW star recently had an interview with TVInsider. He talked about things like a possible AEW role for his wife Beth Phoenix, balancing his acting career with wrestling and more.

The company has been teasing some tensions between Dax Harwood and Cope in recent weeks, indicating a potential heel turn for FTR. When asked how he expects the story to progress and where he might end up, the former World Champion claimed that it\’s not really his decision:

\”I don’t factor in where I end up. I always say, “Where do you need me? You want me to go in this direction? Cool, I’ll start putting together some ideas.” It’s a collaborative effort, but I really enjoy that. I enjoy piecing together stories.\”

We Don\’t Come Up With The Finishes: Adam Copeland

Adam Copeland has been criticized recently for not putting talents over. The former WWE star has won 30 out of his 40 singles matches since his 2020 in-ring return. After the Revolution 2025 main event ended with Mox choking Christian Cage out, a lot of people pointed out how the Rated R Superstar rarely seems to be the one taking the pin, even in bouts he doesn\’t win.

The Attitude Era star seemingly reacted to these recent observations from fans saying that he doesn\’t really come up with the finish to his bouts:

\”Contrary to popular belief, we don’t come up with the finishes. I always just ask where do you need me? Point me in whatever direction you need me, and I’ll get to work.\”

The 51-year-old also talked about his Emmy nomination for his role in the Disney+ series Percy Jackson. Cope explained that him being put into the world title picture immediately upon his return to AEW programming was a way to capitalize on the buzz created with his acting achievements.

  • Seth Rollins Credits Hall of Famer For Birth of His Daughter

Seth Rollins has revealed how Stone Cold Steve Austin influenced the birth of his daughter.

The Architect started dating fellow wrestling star Becky Lynch, real name Rebecca Quin back in 2019. Becky gave birth to their daughter Roux in December 2020.

Rollins played the \’Name the Face\’ game during his latest appearance on Good Morning Football where he correctly identified the Texas Rattlesnake. When asked to tell a story about the WWE Hall of Famer, Seth recalled his wife getting to share a moment with Steve Austin during the 3:16 Raw in 2020:

“Stone Cold is the reason I have a daughter. All right, flashback. In March 2020, everybody knows COVID shuts down the world, right? First show in WWE, post-COVID, post-shutdown, 3:16 Raw.

Customary for somebody to drink with Stone Cold in the ring. At the time, hottest thing in professional wrestling, my lovely incredible wife, The Man, Becky Lynch.\”

If It Wasn\’t For Steve Austin: Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins then joked that Becky decided that it was time to have the baby after that segment and he doesn\’t know if that would have been the case without the former world champion\’s TV appearance:

\”She happened to break open one, two, three, four cold ones with Stone Cold at the end of Raw. That night, she was like, ‘You know what? I think it’s time I take some time off to have a baby.’

Don’t know if she’d make that decision if it wasn’t for Stone Cold Steve Austin. So absolutely. Hell, yeah. Slam them back. Thanks, Steve. You\’re the man.”

The former Shield member also recently talked about his daughter\’s love for Moana and gave his opinion on The Rock as his boss. You can check out his comments on the matter here.

  • Update On Britt Baker\’s AEW Status Following Recent Move

Britt Baker won\’t be leaving AEW anytime soon, at least without the permission of Tony Khan.

All Elite Wrestling has seen a number of big departures over the last few months. Names such as Penta, Rey Fenix, and Malakai Black have left the promotion and only yesterday Saraya confirmed that she is also done with the company for now.

So when Britt Baker seemingly removed all AEW references from her social media profiles, many people wondered if she\’s the next talent on her way out of the organization.

A new report from Fightful Select, however, suggests that leaving the company will not be easy for the former Women\’s Champion. According to them, Baker is still under contract with the company and her deal is not set to expire anytime soon.

Britt Baker has not wrestled for AEW in 2025. Her last match came at the November 13, 2024, episode of Dynamite, where the former champion defeated Penelope Ford.

Reports have painted Baker as someone who is hard to work with, and her absence has been attributed to Tony Khan being frustrated with the female star.

This doesn\’t necessarily mean Britt can\’t be brought back somewhere down the line but her latest move does make it seem like she is beginning to distance herself from the company instead of trying to mend fences.

  • Ricochet Announces Wedding With Samantha Irvin

AEW star Ricochet missed this week\’s episode of Dynamite for a good reason.

International Champion Kenny Omega picked up a victory over Blake Christian in the opening match of this week\’s episode of the Wednesday night show.

Omega cut a promo following his victory before “Speedball” Mike Bailey came out. Bailey told Omega that he respects the current champion but won\’t be pulling any punches when the two meet in the ring.

The One and Only then appeared on the big screen in a white suit. Ricochet said that he\’d love to be there in person, but today is his wedding day, and he\’s dressed for the best day of his life. This is, until the April 6 Dynasty event when he beats both Bailey and Omega in a triple threat for the International title:

Ricochet officially confirmed his relationship with former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin back in 2021. The two got engaged in January 2023, while still under contract for the Endeavor owned promotion.

Both the wrestling names have since left the company. Ricochet previously claimed that Irvin wouldn\’t be joining AEW, but the former ring announcer herself has said that she would definitely be back in wrestling at some point, potentially in a different role than last time.

SEScoops would like to congratulate Ricochet and Samantha on their wedding.

  • People Say A Lot of Things: Seth Rollins Reveals Thoughts On The Rock As His Boss

Seth Rollins has revealed his thoughts on The Rock as his boss.

The Great One has faced some troubles in recent times with a number of big projects going sideways. His attempts to take over DC Studios and trying to replace Cody Rhodes in his WrestleMania match have met with resistance from the fans, doing a lot of damage to his image.

The Architect who was a big part of Rock\’s story with Rhodes leading to WrestleMania 40, recently appeared on the Rich Eisen show. He talked about things such as his new role co-hosting Good Morning Football, his expectations for the Chicago Bears, and more.

During the interview, Seth Rollins noted that his daughter is a big fan of Moana. When the hosts joked about the Rock\’s involvement in the film series and their on screen rivalry, the former Shield member recalled The People\’s Champion inviting his family to the premiere of Moana 2:

“He was kind enough to invite us to Hawaii to watch the premiere of ‘Moana 2’, so we got to see it on the lawn, with the sunset in the background. She’s too young to remember it, but it was a really incredible experience for our family.

He’s been a great boss, I will say. In the ring, we’ve had our ups and downs, but he’s…people say a lot of things about him, he’s a really kind and generous man,\”

Apart from this, Seth Rollins also talked about his match with CM Punk and Roman Reigns set for WrestleMania 41. He noted how a Triple Threat match has almost no rules and claimed that fans will get three \’very combustible elements\’ in their bout.

The Rock has not been seen on WWE TV since his Elimination Chamber appearance. There is no word on his next appearance but it\’d be a surprise if The Hollywood star is not involved with WrestleMania 41 in some way.

  • Logan Paul Suggests CM Punk Hampered His Chance Of UFC Run

Logan Paul suggests that CM Punk\’s failed UFC run might have dampened his chances of competing in the promotion.

The former WWE US Champion recently invited interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall on his podcast. They talked about things such as Aspinall potentially joining WWE after retirement and more.

When the possibility of Logan joining the MMA world came up, the wrestling star revealed that he actually pitched the idea to Dana White, only to be ghosted by the UFC president:

\”I did. I told Dana [White] for UFC 300. I texted him, I said, ‘Hey man, consider me available to fight on the undercard in The Sphere.’

Yeah, [he] basically completely ignored me [laughs], which I think spoke volumes. Haven’t bothered him about it since. But I think for the right fight, the right amount of money, man, I’m an entertainer at the end of the day,\”

He Fucked It Up: Logan Paul

Tom Aspinall then brought up the failed UFC career of CM Punk, which ended with a record of 0-2. Logan Paul suggested that he could be a better fighter than the Straight Edge Star and that Punk getting dominated in his UFC outings hurt his own chances of getting in the business:

\”He fucked it up. After that Dana was like \’I\’m never doing this again.\’ But dude, I’m not CM Punk. He\’s a great wrestler not a great UFC fighter. I think I would be a much better UFC fighter than I would just a boxer.\”

Logan Paul has recently been involved in a feud with AJ Styles after the YouTube star eliminated Styles from the men\’s Royal Rumble match.

  • Swerve Strickland Says Fans Only Have Limited Time With Him

Swerve Strickland has teased wrapping up his wrestling career before he\’s 40.

The former AEW World Champion has carved a unique path of success for himself in the last few years, achieving new heights in both the wrestling and the music world.

Strickland however has now suggested that he might be planning to step away from one of his roles earlier than someone in his position would be expected to.

The 34-year-old made a tweet late on Tuesday saying that fans only have 5 years to appreciate his work in the wrestling world after which he might not be seen.

When a fan claimed that he might continue his involvement in a nonphysical capacity, Swerve Strickland suggested that he would have made enough money by that time to step away from the lime light for good if he chooses:

    Swerve Strickland\’s Current AEW Contract

Earlier this month, the AEW star confirmed that his new deal with Tony Khan\’s promotion will keep him with the company through 2029. He had claimed that there is no where else he\’d rather be:

“Yup (I’m signed to AEW until 2029). There’s nowhere else I would rather be. A lot of people say, ‘Oh, that’s just a PR. He’s supposed to say that sh*t.’ Nah, I mean that sh*t from the bottom of my heart. There’s no other place I’d rather be.\”

Now these new comments from the former NXT star give a new meaning to his remarks about not going anywhere else, suggesting that he might just retire from active competition altogether when his contract expires.

  • Sexxy Red Responds To WrestleMania 41 Request

Sexyy Red is open to a WrestleMania 41 appearance to support Jey Uso.

The 2025 Men\’s Royal Rumble winner is set to compete in the biggest match of his career when he challenges Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Show of Shows.

The Yeet man is gathering all the support he can for this fight. During an interview, he noted that he would love for either Red or Cardi B to be at his side for his WrestleMania 41 entrance.

The singing star responded to this request from the former Intercontinental Champion, suggesting that she is just one call away from making it a reality:

Sexyy Red made multiple NXT appearances last year, helping unveil the Women\’s North American Championship belt. She also shared the screen with the likes of Trick Williams and Shawn Michaels during her visit.

The Rap Star was reportedly even offered a full-time deal by the company but she turned it down on account of her already packed schedule. Though, she seems ready to make an exception for WrestleMania 41 and it\’d be interesting to see if the company brings her in.

While Red may have declined the offer for a WWE run there are other celebrities who are interested in the possibility. You can check out what Interim UFC Champion Tom Aspinall said about a potential WWE career here.

  • Tyler Breeze Says He Wants To Wrestle On TV Again

Tyler Breeze says he still loves wrestling and wants to be back doing it full-time.

The former NXT star has stayed active in the wrestling business since his WWE release in 2021. He has signed a new contract with the company as the co-host of the UpUpDownDown channel in addition to running his own wrestling school. He has been taking classes in the Performance Center as well.

Breeze\’s own career as a performer seems to have suffered because of it, however, and the wrestling veteran has only competed in 20 matches for different indie promotions since his WWE departure in 2021.

During a recent interview with Gabby Laspisa, Tyler Breeze was asked if he misses being an active performer. Replying to it, the former Champion noted that he never intended to halt his own career for this long but his other responsibilities led to him neglecting his run as a performer. According to him, he\’d be open to signing a full-time contract again if someone offers him one:

\”Do I enjoy the wrestling aspect of it still? Yeah, 100 percent. I’m still having matches here at the school because I like the wrestling aspect and like you said I can still do it. So we’re not to a point where I’m going, ‘Ah, I don’t really want to do this anymore.’ I would love to do this. I would love to do this full-time. It’s just a matter of someone wanting you to do it full-time,\”

Don\’t See Why I\’m Not Doing It: Tyler Breeze

When asked what role he envisions himself in if he signs a deal, Tyler Breeze said that he\’s happy to do whatever a promoter asks him to do. Later in the interview, the 37-year-old was asked about his personal goals in 2025. Breeze reiterated that he would like to be back wrestling on TV:

\”Personal goals? I want to be back on TV wrestling. So wherever that happens to be, I would like to continue to wrestle because I am still able to, and I don’t see why I’m not doing it. So I would like to do that. That is probably my immediate goal, is to be back on TV wrestling,\”

Tyler Breeze\’s wrestling school partner Shawn Spears also made his return to NXT last year and he\’s been featured regularly on TV since then. You can check out what Spears said about his retirement here.

  • Matt Hardy Teases Future WWE Plans After Roadblock Victory

Matt Hardy says the Hardy Boyz are done with NXT for now but not with WWE as a whole.

The legendary duo returned to the WWE last month after a long time as part of NXT\’s deal with TNA. Their return led to the current TNA Tag Team Champions successfully defending their titles against NXT Tag Team Champions Axiom & Nathan Frazer at the Roadblock special this Tuesday.

The Broken One talked about their NXT excursion on the latest episode of his podcast. When asked if he\’d like to \’run it back\’ with Fraxiom after their Roadblock encounter, the wrestling veteran replied positively. Matt Hardy then noted that their NXT run is wrapped for now but they still have some stuff with WWE coming up:

“As of right now, our little run with NXT is wrapped. We do have some stuff on our schedule to do with WWE a little later on down the road. Nothing specifically with NXT yet, but… Just stuff, I’m gonna leave it at that right now. We have stuff lined up with WWE.”

Matt Hardy didn\’t specifically reveal if he\’s talking about a main roster run but there have been reports suggesting that the company has considered them for the same in recent times.

The former AEW star also reiterated that the win over the current NXT Champions should earn them the right to challenge for the titles. He said that the Hardys would love to have the NXT tag titles on their resume.

  • Watch: What Happened With Cody Rhodes After SmackDown From Spain Went Off Air

Cody Rhodes competed in a dark match after tonight\’s episode of SmackDown from Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain went off air.

The Undisputed WWE Champion had been advertised for a Miz TV appearance on tonight\’s show. This segment, however, turned out to be a brief one after Miz interrupted Cody\’s entrance, stopping him from doing his signature \’woah.\’

Rhodes did not take this interruption lightly and he ended up attacking the A-Lister. After taking out The Miz, Cody then declared that he did not want to talk to anyone not named John Cena.

This wasn\’t the last time these two saw each other during the night, however. They met once again for a dark match after the main event of the show where Street Profits defeated DIY to become the new Tag Team Champions.

The two stars had some fun at the start of the bout with a spot inspired by Bullfighting that Spain is famous for. In the end, Cody Rhodes picked up the victory using a Cross-Rhodes.

The American Nightmare will get the chance to finally confront John Cena after his Elimination Chamber heel turn this Monday on Raw. The episode of the show coming live from Brussels will have a special start time of 3 pm ET/12 pm PT.

  • WWE Teases 2 New Arrivals With Mystery Vignettes on SmackDown

WWE aired not one but two mystery vignettes on this week\’s episode of SmackDown from Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain, teasing the arrival of a couple of interesting names.

The first of the video packages showed a masked superstar working the ropes with several shots of lightening indicating the fast-paced action he\’ll be bringing to the table with him:

THE OFFICIAL REY FENIX TEASER ? #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/OUlFK0BigO

    — Roman Reigns SZN ? (@reigns_era) March 14, 2025

This footage is believed to be teasing the debut of Rey Fenix who was finally released from his AEW contract earlier this month.

The belief is that Fenix will be joining his brother Penta upon his debut on AEW and reforming the tag team which has won championships in every company they have competed in including AEW, TNA, MLW and more.

Dark vignette Teases Return of Former Champion

The second vignette is much harder to dissect however as it only features the sound of some footsteps and shows the number 4 with smoke running through the screen before darkness ensues:

    NEW CREEPY VIGNETTE…

    COULD IT BE… ALEISTER BLACK?!?! ?#SmackDown pic.twitter.com/qHCEZSHewZ

    — The Movement – Pro Wrestling (@TheMovementXx) March 14, 2025

While not confirmed, many have speculated that this could be the teaser for the return of former NXT Champion Aleister Black.

The Dutch professional wrestler has been part of the AEW roster since 2021. He joined the company after getting released from the Endeavor-owned promotion as part of the COVID-era budget cuts.

Black has reportedly already finished up with the promotion and he is expected to become a free agent sometime before March, if he hasn\’t done so already.

The promos do not give us an idea of when or where these two names will actually make their first in-person appearance but the shows post WrestleMania would be an ideal spot to introduce them on WWE programming.

  • \’A Sh*t Move\’: Steve Austin Regrets Major WrestleMania Moment

Steve Austin has reflected on one of his most interesting WrestleMania moments.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently had an interview with Sports Illustrated. During the talk, he was asked about John Cena\’s heel turn at Elimination Chamber and what advice he would give to the Cenation Leader.

Responding to it, the Attitude Era star recalled his own failed heel turn from WrestleMania 17. Steve Austin said that he loved being a heel early in his career, but making the turn at the height of his popularity was a wrong move:

\”I loved working heel when I was in WCW. I loved working heel when I first came into WWE, because that was a true heel. When I turned heel at what WrestleMania 17, the people didn\’t want me to turn heel. It was a force to turn.

It was my idea. Vince always likes to do something big on a WrestleMania. So, I suggested that. And he said, okay, but it was a s**t move. People weren\’t ready for it. People didn\’t want it.\”

Should Have Never Done That: Steve Austin

Stone Cold Steve Austin challenged the Rock for the WWF Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 17. The bout saw Austin winning the title with help from Mr. McMahon, turning heel in the process. The Texas Rattlesnake altered his character a lot in the following months. This change, however, was not well received by fans and Austin ended up turning face again only a few months later.

Looking back at it, the WWE legend believes that he tried too hard. While he got to push the creative envelope very far, he does not have any advice for John Cena because the end result of his actions was not very favorable:

\”When I look back at it, sure, I got to push the creative envelope and do a lot of things that were cool or whatever, and, you know, push the envelope in a different direction and go out on a limb.

But, people didn\’t want me to turn heel, and so I should have never done that. So, I don\’t think that I\’m in a position that I need to offer John Cena any advice from Steve Austin.\”

Apart from this, Stone Cold Steve Austin also talked about his WrestleMania 38 match with Kevin Owens and revealed the one regret he has about the bout. You can check out his remarks on the matter here.
