  • BJ Ray Makes Bold Claim About Controversial WWE LFG Moment With Bubba Ray Dudley

BJ Ray has made an interesting claim about his confrontation with Bubba Ray Dudley.

The 25-year-old is one of the rookies competing for an NXT contract in the WWE LFG series. Ray, who is part of Dudley\’s team was involved in a controversial moment during the 4th episode of the reality show. BJ had been sitting with special guest Eric Bischoff. Something about this scene made the Attitude Era star go off and he ended up shoving the young star after a verbal confrontation.

BUBBA RAY JUST THREW BJ RAY OFF THE STANDS

WHY WAS HE SO MAD ?#WWELFG pic.twitter.com/cvsaUcRrl1

    — FADE (@FadeAwayMedia) March 10, 2025

The LFG rookie was asked about this moment during a recent interview with Shak Wrestling. He claimed that he was just trying to explain the show to Bischoff. According to BJ Ray he also didn\’t understand why Bubba Ray got so mad at him at the time:

\”Yeah, so I\’m what they would say a team player, right? And I\’m a little bit of a businessman. So I just so happen to be in the room at that time and I saw Eric up there. Bubba had asked, he wanted my help with the team in the previous episode that you saw. So I saw Eric up there and I decided to go up there and chat him up a little bit, kind of tell him who\’s who, what\’s going on. Bubba didn\’t like that.

I was like…first of all I didn\’t understand why he was mad. I mean isn\’t that where the legends belong? But yeah, Bubba just got big mad for real dude. He got super mad and all of a sudden, I was just like yeah bro whatever kind of giving him one of these [hand gesture]. I go to turn around and bro just decides to attack me and shove me out of nowhere.\”

Gotta Protect Their Legends: BJ Ray

BJ Ray also made an interesting claim about the whole situation. According to him, there were parts of the confrontation that were excluded from the show in order to protect the image of the wrestling veteran:

\”Low-ki I was just dying. I was like bro there\’s no…in my head I can\’t lie to you bro I\’m always kind of like a troll in the back of my mind and I find things hella funny. So when it was all happening, I was low-key kind of like \’Bro, this is actually mad funny.\’

But yeah, it was very interesting. A lot of stuff got left on the cutting room floor. I had done something to Bubba that definitely got left on the cutting room floor. They gotta protect their legends, they gotta make them look good. They don\’t want to show me big dogging Bubba. And I don\’t care to say that. I\’ll say whatever I want to say.\”

  • Drew McIntyre And The Rock Have \’Pretty Big Things\’ In Works

Drew McIntyre has teased an upcoming big project with The Rock.

The People\’s Champion has always been a believer of the Scottish Warrior. He dubbed McIntyre as the next big thing in a 2018 interview and sent him a sword when McIntyre re-signed with WWE last year.

The Scottish star recently had an interview with Adam\’s Apple. He talked about things such as being unhappy with his WrestleMania trajectory, his advice for John Cena after his Elimination Chamber heel turn and more.

The former World Champion also talked about The Final Boss during the interview. Drew McIntyre recalled meeting him at the Elimination Chamber PPV and teased big upcoming projects with the Hollywood star:

\”You mentioned it all started with The Rock saying those positive words that you captured in 2018. Re-signing last year knowing where the company was gonna go, The Rock [sending me] that sword. He\’s always been on my side.

I got a chance to talk with him just at Elimination Chamber, there\’s a few things on the horizon they\’re gonna be pretty big once it becomes [public].\”

When asked if this thing is something that he can lean into after his wrestling career, Drew McIntyre said \”I\’m open to pretty much anything that catches my attention, let\’s say that.\”

The WWE star made his movie debut starring in 2024 action comedy The Killer Game alongside another wrestler-turned-actor in Dave Bautista. So it\’s possible that McIntyre is now hoping to extend his presence in the acting world and taking The Rock\’s help for it.

Though Drew also shared a private word with The Hollywood star during the Raw Netflix premiere. So it wouldn\’t be a surprise to see them reuniting on WWE TV first before joining hands for a non-wrestling project.

  • \’I\’m Pissed\’: Drew McIntyre Unhappy With His WrestleMania Trajectory

Drew McIntyre is determined to get a WrestleMania moment for himself.

The Scottish Warrior has not been announced for a match at the Show of Shows this year so far. He\’s been feuding with Damian Priest which is expected to lead to a Mania match. Due to his incredible work in the past year however, many believe that he deserves to be part of a more prominent program heading into the biggest PPV of the year.

Tiktoker Adam Glyn recently caught up with Drew McIntyre for a quick interview. When asked about his WrestleMania plans, the former World Champion noted that he is pissed at not being involved in the world title picture after his highly praised feud with CM Punk. McIntyre however, promised that he will find a story which people can get invested in:

\”It sucks. Because I\’m not in a world title match at WrestleMania. I know in 2024 I had people talking about myself and CM Punk more than anybody. I did 90% of that work. Good for Punk for being Punk. Drew McIntyre did the fucking heavy lifting there.

So I\’m pissed off to be frank I\’m not in a world title match. But I\’m gonna make something happen. And between now and WrestleMania, I\’ll make sure there\’s a big match. I\’ll make sure there\’s a story people are invested in and I\’ll make sure the match is fucking awesome because I\’m Drew McIntyre.\”

    Just Be Yourself: Drew McIntyre

The wrestling veteran was also asked about John Cena\’s heel turn and if he has any advice for the Cenation Leader as a fellow bad guy. Drew first corrected the statement saying that he\’s very justified in his action before claiming that Cena should just be himself:

\”People say to me what it\’s like being a heel like right now and I say I\’m not a heel. If you listen to what I\’m saying, I\’m justified. I\’m telling the truth.

If you\’re in my position and you were treated like I was treated…people have such short-term memories, you look at the story arc, the reality of Drew McIntyre, every action is justified. For John being a heel, like I said a couple of weeks ago, just be yourself John. Show the world the real you.\”

  • The Rock Officially Confirms New Movie Project

The Rock has officially confirmed his next movie project.

The Great One was reported to be starring in a movie directed by Martin Scorsese alongside esteemed actors such as Leonardo DiCaprio, and Emily Blunt last month.

The Hollywood star made this project official with a new social media post on Thursday, noting that it\’ll feature the story of a Hawaiian crime boss ruling his native island in the 60s and beyond:

\”Grateful for what’s been the most creatively inspiring time of my career – working closely with my friends and of course, the maestro Marty Scorsese. In the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s the mafia-controlled New York, Miami, Chicago, Vegas, and a particularly strong hold on the island I was raised – Hawaii.\”

The Rock has not been seen on WWE TV since the Elimination Chamber PPV earlier this month. He left the wrestling world in shock that night by becoming the catalyst for John Cena\’s heel turn.

The Cenation Leader is set to return to WWE programming this Monday on Raw from Brussels, Belgium for the first time since his character change. The show will have a special start time of 3 pm ET/12 pm PT.

The Final Boss on the other hand, is currently not advertised for any shows on the Road To WrestleMania 41 but it\’ll be a surprise if he actually ends up missing all events leading up to the PPV.

  • NXT Champion Makes Surprise Indie Appearance In Spain Ahead of SmackDown

A couple of interesting WWE names were in attendance for a Lucha Libre Rebelión event in Spain ahead of the upcoming SmackDown episode.

WWE will be officially kicking off their WrestleMania season European tour with this week\’s episode of the Blue Branded show from Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain.

Along with main roster stars, NXT\’s Axiom also seems to have made the trip. He made a surprise appearance at the local indie promotion on Thursday. The NXT star wasn\’t the only name who was in the building, as Kevin Owens was also spotted in the crowd, enjoying the action:

Born in Madrid, Spain, Axiom currently holds the NXT Tag Team Championship with Nathan Frazer. He is the first Spaniard to compete and win a title in the company.

Before joining the Endeavor-owned promotion in 2019, the high-flying star wrestled for various promotions in American and European independent circuits under the ring name A-Kid. This included indie companies in Spain as well.

This latest appearance from the NXT star makes Friday\’s SmackDown even more interesting. WWE bringing him along for the tour suggests that he could be planned for an appearance at the show emanating from his home country tomorrow.

Whether or not Axiom actually makes an appearance on the show will only be revealed tomorrow, but the possibility does make the show more exciting for the local fans.

  • Damaris Lewis Addresses Fan Backlash Over Revolution Controversy

Queen of the Ring star Damaris Lewis has responded to the controversy created by her remakrs at the Revolution PPV this past Sunday.

The acting star was interviewed during the event. She claimed that one thing she learned about wrestling while working on the movie was that wrestlers know they are going to win a match before anyone else. This statement led to an uproar among wrestling crowds, with many targeting Lewis for exposing the business.

Damaris addressed the controversy during a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio. She said that the whole thing did not come out as she had intended:

\”First and foremost, I completely take accountability for how it came out. That was not how it was intended. I’m sorry if it came out way wrong. Having a very short time period to think about an answer in the arena, that’s what came out of my mouth.\”

I Respect It Fully: Damaris Lewis

AEW star Kamille who also stars in the movie had defended her co-star earlier in the week. Having done many rounds of press with Lewis, the former NWA Women\’s Champion explained that she was talking about the resolve of a wrestler to win the match, rather than the scripted nature of the business.

Damaris Lewis explained her comments similarly, mentioning how wrestlers are always telling themselves that they\’re going to win. Watching the revolution segment back, she also realized that it didn\’t come across as she wanted:

I’ve been saying, because it’s true, because I am incredibly inspired by this sport, you know you’re going to win before you step in the ring, no matter what. It is a sport. It is real.

People are in there, in that ring, doing what they gotta do. It’s tough. It’s dangerous at times. I respect it fully, with my whole heart. I will say it again, I’m so sorry if it came off that way. I know these fans love their sport and were defending their sport. I can’t be mad.”

While Lewis made an appearance at the PPV, it\’s curious that her co-star Kamille was nowhere to be seen. A recent move from AEW further suggests that not everything is right between the wrestling star and the promotion. You can check out more details here.

  • JD McDonagh Tells Inside Story of Crazy WarGames Bump

JD McDonagh has revealed some interesting unknown details about one of his craziest WWE bumps.

The Irish star competed in the WarGames match at the Survivor Series 2023 event. Teaming up with other Judgement Day members and Drew McIntyre, he went up against the alliance of Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn and a returning Randy Orton.

The former Cruiserweight Champion was part of one of the craziest spots of the night. He was thrown off the top of the cage by Rollins and Zayn, to be caught by Randy Orton with an RKO outta nowhere.

    — GOAT GOD (@GOATGOD_1000) November 26, 2023

JD talked about this crazy bump during his recent interview with Chris Van Vliet. He revealed that he originally planned on doing a moonsault off the cage. The idea was shot down however, as Charlotte Flair was planned for the same spot in the Women\’s WarGames match earlier in the night:

“Yeah, that was my idea. My first idea was I was going to moonsault off the cage and they said, \’No you can’t do that. Charlotte’s gonna do that.\’ I said, \’Okay, well then in that case, I have a slightly more dangerous suggestion.\’

I said super RKO, and they asked \’Do you think you can do it safely?\’ \’I’d have to eyeball it. I’d have to get up there onto the cage and see the height and see, but I reckon I could.\’\”

The Lights Are On: JD McDonagh

When asked if Randy Orton was also as confident in the spot being completed safely, JD McDonagh revealed that they actually practiced it the night before:

“We got a crash mat out the night before. I hate blowing up the secrets in wrestling but we got a crash night out, he stood at the end of it, I got up on the cage and just jumped off. He eyeballed and he goes, \’I got you.\’ \’I bet you do.\’ \’All right, let’s do it tomorrow. The lights are on.\’”

Apart from this, JD McDonagh also talked about the crazy rib injury he suffered in January this year that has kept him out of action since then. The high-flying star revealed his immediate reaction to the injury and provided an update on his recovery. You can check out his comments here.

  • JD McDonagh Reveals Immediate Reaction To Freak Rib Injury

JD McDonagh has revealed his first thoughts after his rib injury.

The Judgement Day star recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet. He talked about things such as his start in wrestling, being paired with the WWE faction upon his main roster debut, the RKO spot from the top of the WarGames cage, and more.

The Irish star is currently out of action with a rib injury. He last competed on the January 27 episode of Raw where JD teamed up with Dominik Mysterio to challenge the War Raiders for the tag team titles. McDonagh suffered the injury while he was attempting a moonsault on the outside and bounced off the announce table.

    An Out-of-Body Experience: JD McDonagh

When asked what his immediate thought after the spot was, JD McDonagh claimed that it was an \’out-of-body experience\’ and all he was thinking was not being able to breath normally:

“In that moment I was just thinking, when’s the next breath gonna come? I knew that I didn’t hit my head that hard, because I knew I’d missed a spot in the match and I knew what was coming up next. So I knew I wasn’t unconscious or anything like that,

And then I don’t know, it was like an out-of-body experience, listening to Michael Cole with the concern in his voice. I’ve heard him all through the years being like we got to get a medic down here, and then all of a sudden, you’re lying at his feet and he’s saying it about you.”

The high-flying star said that he couldn’t get ‘full lung full of air’ but he thought he was just winded from hitting the table. JD noted that he thought he had cracked ribs but he did not tell the same to the referee. The ref checked him for possible concussion and then continued the match on the Raw star\’s insistence. So it wasn’t the official’s fault that the match progressed despite his injury.

JD McDonagh later provided an update on his health noting that he is feeling a lot better now. According to him, he is just waiting for the bones to knit back together before he can start taking bumps again and begin the process of getting cleared by WWE doctors.

  • YouTube Star Claims Triple H Once Kicked Him Out of WrestleMania

YouTuber star Joe Weller has claimed that Triple H once kicked him out of WrestleMania.

The social media star was known to make WWE-inspired videos back in the day. One of his most famous videos, where Weller did moves on a girl in a pool, also featured WWE legends Paul Heyman and Jim Ross.

He reflected on the time in a recent appearance on Logan Paul\’s Impaulsive podcast. Talking about his interaction with Heyman, Joe Weller revealed that the former ECW owner actually invited him to attend WrestleMania at the time:

\”I went to a WrestleMania, Paul Heyman was like, \’I love your video\’, that swimming pool one, he was like \’Come along, let\’s make another one and I\’ll get you in at WrestleMania, you can stay in the WWE hotel.\’\”

There Was No Embracing It At That Point: Joe Weller

Unfortunately for Joe Weller, social media celebrities at the time did not hold the same importance they do today. According to the YouTube star, the current WWE head of creative Triple H did not approve of Paul inviting him over, and The Game actually kicked him out:

\”Fucking Triple H kicked me out. He was like, \’Who\’s this fucking YouTuber? Get out of here\’. They were so not open to the YouTube stuff back then. I think he was still wrestling,

But it was very much like, \’Who the fuck\’s this YouTuber?\’, Like distance, there was no embracing of it back at that point. But Paul Heyman got it and we made a video, we made Brock Lesnar say, \’Fuck you Joe\’ and it was sick.\”

Joe Weller later said that he often thinks about how different the situation would have been had social media been as important back then. Weller said that he would have loved to be in the position Logan Paul is in with WWE today.

  • Logan Paul Disputes Claims About Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens Elimination Chamber Match

Logan Paul has become the unlikely defender of the latest Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens encounter.

The two best friends added another chapter to their storied rivalry at the Elimination Chamber PPV earlier this month. 15 years after their memorable ROH encounter, the two once again faced each other in an unsanctioned match. The brutality of this war which was won by Kevin Owens in the end was one to remember.

The YouTube star talked about the bout on the latest episode of his Impaulsive podcast. Logan Paul welcomed fellow content creator Joe Weller on his show and the two talked about Paul\’s work in WWE in detail. During the talk, Weller recalled his experience in the wrestling ring which prompted the former US Champion to tell the story of his own first experience in the squared circle:

\”I remember so vividly coming into my first WWE session. I was working with Mike The Miz. I\’m touching the mat and I\’m like, \’This is crazy. Is the bouncy one during the actual match?\’ He goes, \’No dude, this is the ring. It\’s the same ring.\’ I\’m like \’Yeah, but on TV, it\’s bouncy, right? How are you guys landing like that?\’

He\’s like \’No, dude.\’ By the way, every celebrity that I see coming in there doing a match or doing a spot whatever, the same reaction every [time]. They feel the edge of the mat and they\’re like, \’Bro, this isn\’t even fucking moving.\’ And I\’m like \’Yeah, been there.\’\”

Fake Is Not The Word: Logan Paul

One of the most brutal spots of the Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens match saw Zayn bringing out a barbed-wire steel chair. Sami set up the chair on top of two other chairs and delivered a Blue Thunderbomb to his opponent. Due to the brutally of the spot, many people wondered if the chair was gimmicked in some way.

Logan Paul however disputed these claims. He was talking about how the weapons used in matches are all real. According to him, he too thought that the barbed-wire must be fake at first but learned otherwise upon a closure inspection:

\”The chairs. They showed me the metal chair and I said \’Okay, where is the fake, where is the plastic chair?\’ No plastic fucking chair. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. That match they had at Elimination Chamber, and the barbed wire around the chair.

That was real fucking barbed wire. I felt it beforehand. I saw the chair and was like, \’No way this is [real].\’ Tap, tap, tap. It\’s sharp. It\’s insane dude. That\’s why fake is not the word. It\’s just not the word.\”

Logan Paul was involved in a big segment on this week\’s episode of Raw. He attacked comedian Andrew Schulz during the show, prompting AJ Styles to make the save.

  • Cedric Alexander Confirms First Post WWE Bookings

Former WWE star Cedric Alexander has been announced for a couple of indie dates in May and June following the end of his WWE run.

United Pro Wrestling revealed the first of Alexander\’s booking on Twitter announcing that he\’ll be making his debut for the promotion on May 10th.

Prestige Wrestling made a similar announcement confirming that the former Hurt Business member will be making an appearance at their June 1st event. The promotion confirmed that Alexander will be wrestling Trever Lee at the show being held in Los Angeles, CA:

The high-flying star was originally signed by WWE on fan demand following an impressive showing in his Cruiserweight Classic match against Kota Ibushi. He was assigned to the debuting Cruiserweight Division in 2016. He went on to win the Cruiserweight Championship from Mustafa Ali at WrestleMania 34.

Cedric Alexander later found success as part of the Hurt Business faction as well. Teaming with Shelton Benjamin, he won the Raw tag team championships. He wasn\’t used much after the end of the group however and he was unsurprisingly released from the company on February 7 this year.

There have been reports of people within AEW pushing for Alexander to be signed, especially as the Hurt Business has reunited in the company as Hurt Syndicate. So far however, there has been no solid update to indicate that Tony Khan is interested in bringing the former Champion in.

  • Kenny Omega Could Be Heading Towards Big Title Unification Match

Kenny Omega\’s first action on his AEW return might be part of a bigger plan for the company.

The Cleaner returned to the promotion after more than a year of inaction at the Worlds End PPV in December 2024. Omega confronted his arch-rival, Kazuchika Okada at the show, teasing the renewal of their rivalry. This came after Okada retained the Continental Classic championship.

The AEW EVP however, then started a feud with the Don Callis family instead. This story led to him winning the AEW International Championship from Konosuke Takeshita at this past Sunday\’s Revolution event. The win made Kenny the first-ever AEW Grand Slam champion.

Now a new report from Fightful Select has suggested that the change in Kenny\’s direction was a deliberate one that could lead to some interesting results.

AEW\’s Big Plans For Kenny Omega

According to the site, the company has taken the complaints about having too many titles into consideration. They already discontinued the FTW title in September last year and pitches have been made to consolidate some of the other belts.

Specifically, plans to unify the International Championship with the Continental title have been discussed dating back a number of months.

While the report could not confirm if the titles would simply be carried together or be unified into a new belt altogether, some have considered the talk of title unification to be firm creative plans.

Tony Khan recently announced a tournament to determine the challenger for Kenny Omega at the upcoming Dynasty PPV on April 6. So it doesn\’t appear that the company is in a hurry to unify the titles, and they might reach the desired results with the slow progression of the story.

An Okada vs. Omega rematch is not specifically the confirmed plan but it would make sense given Okada\’s association with Young Bucks during Kenny\’s absence as well as the Worlds End tease.

  • Minor CM Punk Issue And More Fixed In New WWE 2K25 Patch

2K has fixed a minor CM Punk issue and more in the new WWE 2K25 patch.

The Deluxe editions of the new WWE game was released for users on March 7. Fans who got to play the game early found a couple of typos in the attires for a number of top stars.

Specifically, CM Punk\’s shirt branded him as the \’Best IM in the world, while AJ Styles was referred to as the \’Phenomenal Ons.\’ Pete Dunne\’s graphics on his singlet on the other hand were reversed.

    WWE 2K25 Patch 1.05 – All Fixes

In the new 1.05 patch before the full release of the game, 2K acknowledged at least the Punk typo and issued a fix to it alongside the fix for Santos Escobar\’s hair color in the game.

They also addressed issues like some color options or menus not being accessible to users and duplicate tattoos being displayed on characters.

The 2K24 standard edition is available for pre-order now. Set to be released on Friday, March 14 the game includes the Wyatt Sicks pack as the pre-order bonus.

The developers have added some interesting new features to the game including Cody Rhodes\’ famous throne entrance and an action figure version of The Rock which can be unlocked with a locker code.

You can check out our WWE 2K25 hub for all the latest news regarding the game.

  • Stone Cold Steve Austin Reveals His One Regret About WrestleMania 38 Match

Stone Cold Steve Austin has revealed the one regret he has about his WrestleMania 38 encounter.

The Texas Rattlesnake returned to the ring after almost 19 years in 2022. Originally invited as a guest on the KO show, the Attitude Era star ended up having an impromptu match with Kevin Owens. The No Holds Barred match saw Austin defeating the former Universal Champion with a chair shot and a stunner.

The former World Champion talked about this encounter during a recent interview with Sports Illustrated. He noted that while he was happy in the moment, he wasn\’t able to train as well as he wanted beforehand as WWE did not send a ring to him:

\”When I went out there, I think I couldn\’t hear the crowd as much as I wanted to. When I watched it back, the crowd was into it. It was very, very loud, yes, but I wish I would have taken more time, savored more moments, and worked the people a little bit more than I did.\”

A Little Too Frantic: Steve Austin

According to Steve Austin, he was not sure what he had to offer because of the lack of training before the bout. He compensated by being a little too frantic than he needed to and the WWE Hall of Famer regrets not enjoying his time out there as much as he could have:

\”I think I was in a space of not knowing what I had and trying to be a little too frantic. I could have slowed down drastically and made that better. And I wish that I would have.

Steve Austin has not appeared on WWE TV since the WrestleMania 38 encounter. Though a lot of fans have been hoping for his appearance at the Show of Shows this year to help Cody Rhodes in his war against John Cena and The Rock. The wrestling veteran himself has also confirmed that he\’ll be in the area during the weekend and has not ruled out a potential appearance at the PPV.

  • Natalya Discloses \’Subconscious Fear\’ During Vince McMahon Reign

Natalya has opened up about the difference between the old and new WWE management.

The wrestling veteran recently sat down with Ariel Helwani to officially announce her new Memoir. During the interview, she talked about things such as her long wrestling career, her decision to re-sign with WWE, and more.

The former Women\’s Champion also went into detail about the difference between the old WWE management run by Vince McMahon vs the new management team led by Triple H and Nick Khan. Natalya explained that because her dad, wrestling legend Jim Neidhart lost his job a lot, she always felt the pressure to prove that she wasn\’t unreliable when McMahon was in charge:

\”To be brutally honest growing up in the business with a parent like Jim \’The Anvil\’ Neidhart. My dad is you know, he\’s one of my greatest inspirations in my life. But growing up my dad lost his job a lot. So for me always I think subconsciously even before I ever got to WWE, I always had this fear of like I have to make everyone happy.

I have to please everyone. I have to be the company girl. I have to be everything that my dad wasn\’t. I have to be perfect. So whatever Vince wants me to do or whatever you know my boss wants me to do I just have to do what they want me to do.\”

I Had To Be Perfect: Natalya

Later in the interview, Natalya discussed how things are much more relaxed under the new management and people are allowed to break the fourth wall. She claimed that for the first time in her long WWE career, she does not feel the pressure of being perfect:

\”I feel like now for the first time in my 18 years of being in WWE and having grown up in it, I always felt and that\’s what I was saying earlier, I just always felt like I had to be perfect. Especially when Vince McMahon was in charge, like I just had to be perfect.

I had to show him that I was going to be the exact opposite of what my dad was. I could be so professional and I could just do everything that everybody wanted and say all the right things and do all the right things. What I love right now is that Triple H and the powers that be, Nick Khan and our bosses, they\’re not expecting us to be perfect. They\’re not, you know, they\’re letting us be real.\”

  • Lex Luger Names Two Legends He Wants At His Hall of Fame Induction

Lex Luger has revealed the two names he would like to join him at the WWE Hall of Fame.

The former WCW Champion has recently been training with DDP to regain his mobility following his spinal cord injury. He was visited by Cody Rhodes in the facility and the Undisputed WWE Champion broke the news of his Hall of Fame induction to the wrestling legend.

Luger joined Eric Bischoff for an interview on his podcast after this announcement. During the interview, Lex revealed that he is trying to get both DDP and Sting to appear alongside him at the upcoming event:

\”If I could have my two guys up there with me, man, DDP on my shoulder kind of spotting me and Sting on the other, if it’s possible. I go, man, that would be amazing. So we shall see. If I have anything to say about that, that would be my pick.\”

Sting signed a Legends deal with AEW following his retirement at Revolution 2024. Lex Luger who is under a similar WWE deal was allowed to attend the AEW PPV by the company but he was not allowed to appear on camera. So bringing the Icon in for a TV appearance will be harder.

Lex Luger will join the WWE creative head Triple H and veteran female star Michelle McCool in the 2025 class. You can check out the details of this year\’s ceremony here.

  • Chelsea Green Has Talked To WWE Hall of Famer About Potential WrestleMania 41 Match

WWE Women\’s US Champion Chelsea Green has pitched an interesting WrestleMania opponent for herself.

The WWE Diva recently had an interview with Metro. During the talk, she revealed that she has actually talked to Hall of Famer Nikki Bella about a potential match:

\”I’ve shared some words with Nikki Bella. I feel like… look. We’ve had a friendship for years, now maybe it is time to step in the ring and square off, face off.\”

Bella made a surprise return to the company last month, entering the Women\’s Royal Rumble match. While the former Divas Champion could not complete the job then, she hinted later that her next WWE appearance may not be too far.

    Anything Could Happen: Chelsea Green

While the bout has not been teased on TV so far, Green noted that anything is possible on the road to WrestleMania. With the event being more than a month away still, there is plenty of time to build up this dream match:

\”I don’t know! Vegas and WrestleMania in Las Vegas is just so special, because I think anything could happen. We really don’t know right now, we’re on the Road to WrestleMania.

We don’t know where this is going to go, what storylines are going to be put into place. I feel like the people want it. So, should we give them what they want?\”

Nikki is not the only one who teased a comeback in recent times. • Swerve Strickland Confirms Rumored Length of New AEW Contract

Swerve Strickland has confirmed the length of his new AEW contract.

The former AEW World Champion recently appeared on The Bootleg Kev podcast. He talked about things such as what he learned from his AEW title run, his thoughts on John Cena\’s heel turn, Kendrick Lamar\’s Superbowl halftime show, and more.

Originally having joined Tony Khan\’s promotion in 2022, Strickland renewed his deal with the company last year. It was reported that the former WWE star had signed a multi-year agreement that will keep him in the mix for a long time to come.

During the talk, Swerve Strickland was asked about the reports that he is signed to AEW till 2029. The 34-year-old confirmed the news noting that there is nowhere else he\’d rather be:

\”Yup (I’m signed to AEW until 2029). There’s nowhere else I would rather be. A lot of people say, ‘Oh, that’s just a PR. He’s supposed to say that sh*t.’ Nah, I mean that sh*t from the bottom of my heart. There’s no other place I’d rather be.

Do I have bad days as opposed to good days? Of course. This is a job. I have frustrations here and there. But, I work through those frustrations better here than I did in other places and anywhere else in the world.\”

Swerve Strickland later talked about his runs in companies like Lucha Underground, MLW and WWE. He claimed that nowhere else he has been able to work through his frustrations like with Tony Khan and AEW.

The former champion picked up a big victory at the Revolution PPV, defeating Ricochet in a singles match. The win earns him the right to challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at a future date.

  • Former WCW Star Brian Knobs Rushed To Hospital Amid Life-Threatening Infection

Former WCW wrestler Brian Knobs was rushed to the hospital late on Tuesday due to critically low blood levels.

Knobs\’ Facebook page provided the update on the 60-year-old noting that the wrestling star had to undergo an emergency blood transfusion and he is still not feeling well:

\”Hey everyone, Brian was rushed to the hospital from the rehab center due to critically low blood levels. He had to undergo an emergency blood transfusion and is really struggling right now. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.\”

Brian Knobs made his wrestling debut in 1985 and he formed a tag team with Jerry Sags a year later. Known together as The Nasty Boys, the duo wrestled many of the top tag teams of the era including The Hart Foundation, Legion of Doom, and the Steiner Brothers.

After the retirement of his partner in 1997, Knobs returned to singles action. He had multiple runs with the WCW Hardcore Championship, wrestling names such as Bam Bam Bigelow and Jim Duggan during this period.

According to the GoFundMe account set up to help the wrestling veteran, he had been struggling with financial issues for some time now, owing to the damages caused by Hurricane Milton.

Things have gone from bad to worse due to his life-threatening foot infection which has stopped him from making scheduled wrestling appearances. This includes Knobs having to cancel his appearance on the Jericho Cruise among other places, which has only added to his financial woes.

You can check out his GoFundMe campaign here.

  • Seth Rollins No Longer Bears Sign of Vince McMahon Era

Seth Rollins has shedded the nickname given to him by former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. The former World Champion had the added adjective of \’freakin\’ in his name for the longest time but the company has seemingly dropped the word.

The promotion recently updated the profile page for Rollins on their official website and dropped the nickname from the headline. This change appears to be a recent one as the nickname was visible as early as last month and he\’s still referred to as Seth \’Freakin\’ Rollins in his bio and other recent articles on the site:

Seth Rollins Tells Story Of His Name

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet last month, Seth Rollins had revealed that the idea for his name change came straight from Vince McMahon. According to the former Shield member, the former boss felt bored with his name and decided to add the word to make it interesting again:

“I give that credit to the old man. The middle name was his idea back in the day. I don’t remember why. I don’t remember how it came about. I think he was just bored with Seth Rollins and he was like ah, you’ll be Seth Freakin Rollins again. Okay, cool. Sold a lot of T shirts when we did it, so whatever.”

Rollins also noted that at first Vince was insistent on using the middle name every time Seth was mentioned on WWE TV anywhere, and he had to convince McMahon to tone down the usage of it.

  • Tony Khan Announces New Tournament For Dynasty Title Shot

Tony Khan has announced a new tournament leading to a championship opportunity at the upcoming AEW Dynasty PPV event.

The AEW President took to Twitter late on Tuesday to reveal the brackets for the competition, with the winner receiving a shot at Kenny Omega\’s International Championship. The list includes superstars from multiple different countries as well as non-AEW names like CMLL star Hechicero.  There is also a wildcard entry who will be facing The Beast Mortos.

The good thing for fans is that they will not have to wait too long to find out who the wildcard entry into the mix is as it\’s one of the two matches confirmed to be taking place at this Wednesday\’s episode of Dynamite:

    The Rebuilding of Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega returned to AEW after more than a year of inaction at the Worlds End PPV last month. He originally confronted the Continental Classic Champion Kazuchika Okada at the show but later started a feud with the Don Callis Family.

This feud led to The Cleaner\’s first PPV match on American soil in over a year at the Revolution PPV this past Sunday. He defeated Konosuke Takeshita at the show to become the new International Champion.

The former IWGP Heavyweight champion will be making an appearance at the Dynamite episode as well and he\’s been announced for a promo at the show.

  • AEW Collision Undergoing Interesting Experiment Next Week

AEW Collision will be undergoing an interesting experiment for the week of March 17-23, varying from its usual format.

The 2-hour Saturday night show usually airs at 8 PM ET on TNT. For next week, however, the slot will be taken up by the NCAA \’March Madness\’ games.

The broadcast network usually just bumps the full wrestling show up in such cases, and it airs whenever the program taking its place concludes.

Though for next week, the official WBD website is listing two 1-hour episodes of Collisions for both Saturday, March 22, and Sunday March 23 instead. Both the shows are listed to start at 11 p.m. ET, after the conclusion of the NCAA games.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, this is an experiment on TNT\’s part. By breaking up the usual 2-hour show into two separate hour-long episodes, the Network is giving Collision two lead-ins from the March Madness games instead of one.

The Collision episode is set to be taped in advance from the Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Omaha, Nebraska, alongside the live March 19th episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite.

No matches or segments have been confirmed for the upcoming show just yet, but we can expect to see some top stars on the episode to take advantage of the lead in.

  • \’He\’s A Motherf*cker’: Scott Steiner Has Not Forgiven Hulk Hogan\’s Past Deeds

Scott Steiner has not forgotten Hulk Hogan\’s transgressions.

The wrestling veteran recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet for a new interview. He talked about things such as his famous Steiner math promo, his son Brock signing a WWE NIL deal and more.

During the interview, Scott also talked about his WCW run in detail and the origins of his Big Poppa Pump character. He explained that the gimmick was born out of his real-life experiences in the pro wrestling world.

Steiner noted how he was a happy-go-lucky kid when he first joined the business but he soon learned about all the \’bullsh*t of professional wrestling\’ such as backstage politics played by top stars like Hulk Hogan:

\”That was a real thing back then the older guys keeping the younger guys down. When I said that I got beat in my first match after turning heel, the call was made by Hulk Hogan to have me beat. So the reason I knew that because somebody that was in the vicinity of talking to him.

So it might piss me off, but you can overcome wins and losses. People can see your personality and what you do on camera. Wins and losses, you can overcome them. But when another wrestler decides he’s going to decide who wins, it is bullsh*t.”

A Piece Of Sh*t: Scott Steiner

After an earlier run, the Steiner Brothers rejoined WCW in 1996. They teamed together for a couple years before Scott turned heel by attacking his brother Rick and joining the nWo at the SuperBrawl VIII. The wrestling legend developed the Big Poppa Pump character he is most widely known for in the next few months, completely changing his look as well as his mannerisms.

When asked why does he thinks Hulk Hogan wanted to keep him down, Scott Steiner did not hold back on the Hulkster. The former WCW Champion claimed that the WWE Hall of Famer is \’a piece of sh*t\’:

“He’s a motherf*cker. There’s no other way I can say it, he’s a piece of sh*t. We did a Nitro in Buffalo and I knew who I had to wrestle, per se. But ten minutes before the show went on air at ten to eight, I didn’t know if it was going to happen or not. We had to wait until Hogan got to the building and say, clear it. Yeah, you could do what they had written down.”

The former TNA star was also questioned about his current relationship with Hogan, and he said that he has still not forgotten everything Hogan did to him. He told the story of how Hulk almost got him arrested on false accusations of attacking Hogan\’s wife back in 2015 and said that there\’s a reason the Hulkster got booed at the Raw Netflix premiere.

  • Kamille Explains Real Meaning Of Controversial AEW Revolution Segment

AEW star Kamille has defended her Queen of The Ring co-star Damaris Lewis after her controversial segment at the Revolution PPV.

The actress was one of the celebrities attending the PPV to promote the new movie. When asked about her experience of working in the pro wrestling-based film, she said \”you all know you are going to win before everybody else does\” and thanked wrestlers for teaching her that.

The awkward segment did not go over well with the wrestling fans and they targeted Lewis for exposing the business. The backstage reaction to her comments were not any better. Reports claimed that \’audible groans\’ were heard when she said this and her remarks were not well received.

Kamille who stars in the movie with Damaris, however, came to her defense with an Instagram video. She explained that her co-star respects the industry very much and her comments were not about the pre-determined nature of the business. According to Kamille who has done many rounds of press with Damaris Lewis, she was actually talking about the resolve of the talents to win a match:

“She’s not talking about who’s going to win. If you notice, she doesn’t say, ‘Y’all already know who’s going to win.’ She says, ‘Y’all already know YOU’RE going to win.’ What she meant by that is we are determined. We know that we are winners.

We know that we’re going to make it no matter what. We have it in our minds, predetermined, that we are going to win, That we\’re going to get where we want to go, do what we want to do, what dream we set. That’s what she meant, guys.\”

    https://www.youtube.com/shorts/q1bL1fmifZc

The former NWA Women\’s Champion noted that the actress had only a few seconds to say something meaningful and her comments did not come across as she meant it. Kamille praised her friend as a very deep thinker and noted that she made her point very clear in longer interviews she did during the Queen of The Ring press tour.

The female wrestling star is signed to AEW but she has not been seen on Tony Khan\’s promotion since November last year. Many people believed that she was just taking time off for this movie but a latest development suggests it\’s not the case. You can check out more here.

  • \’Doesn\’t Make Him A Good Person\’: Seth Rollins Reveals Real Thoughts On Hulk Hogan\’s Recent Troubles

Seth Rollins knew that Hulk Hogan will not be welcomed by fans at the Raw Netflix premiere.

The former World Champion recently had an interview with WFAN. He talked about things such as at what age he plans to retire, how different the wrestling world is today compared to his early days, and more.

During the interview, Rollins was also asked about The Hulkster. The Architect noted that Hogan has always been kind to him, though he admitted that it doesn\’t necessarily make him a good person:

\”I was a Hogan fan growing up. I\’ve said it a million times, the dude has been nothing but kind to me in my life and our interactions. Doesn\’t make him a good person. Obviously, he\’s run into some issues as of late. We\’ll see if he clears those up. That\’s his business though,\”

I Was Not Surprised: Seth Rollins

Hulk Hogan has been in crosshairs of the wrestling fans since he made racially insensitive remarks in a leaked video. The WWE Hall of Fame\’s recent political leanings have only added to the resentment of fans. All this resulted in Hogan getting booed out of the building when he made an appearance at Raw\’s Netflix premiere from Los Angeles.

When asked if he was surprised by how the former face of WWE was treated when he showed up at the January 6 show, Seth Rollins said that he saw the fan reaction coming in advance:

\”No, I was not surprised. I mean look, he hasn\’t done a lot to harbor goodwill in his name over the past few years. So I just think with everything that\’s going on with him, he came out, I saw it coming. I don\’t know if anybody else did, but I did yes.\”

Seth Rollins picked up an unwilling victory over CM Punk in the main event of this week\’s Raw. This came after Roman Reigns interrupted their cage match and dragged Rollins out of the steel structure. Now it\’d be interesting to see how Seth responds to his former teammate.
