  • Seth Rollins Reveals Tentative Retirement Age

Seth Rollins has revealed his tentative retirement plan.

The Architect recently had an interview with WFAN. He talked about things such as how things have changed in the wrestling business since he debuted in WWE, Travis Scott\’s involvement in John Cena\’s heel turn and more.

Discussing the topic of athletes in different sports, Rollins noted how wrestlers are able to extend their careers because they\’re storytellers and the wrestling audience is much more forgiving to lapses in physicality than other sports. Seth was then asked if he himself knows when he might retire from in-ring action. The former World Champion said that it\’ll depend on how things develop in the next few years:

\”No, I\’ll be 39 in May. You know, 45 maybe really sounds all right to me, I think. It\’s kind of going to depend on what I do in the next few years as far as outside of WWE or behind the scenes in WWE. Both of those things are appealing to me. So just got to figure out what that feels like. But like my body\’s definitely…I feel good right now. I feel very good.\”

I\’m More Behind The Scenes Guy: Seth Rollins

The hosts brought up the possibility of Seth Rollins following the footsteps of someone like Jesse Venture and becoming a commentator after the end of his in-ring career. The former Shield member, however, said that he\’d rather have a role behind the camera than in front of it once he hangs his boots:

\”I think I\’m more behind-the-scenes guy when it\’s time for me to finish up. Like I\’d like to be on the other side of it. I don\’t want to be like a character in front of it anymore. Once I\’m done in the ring, like let me go back, let me help, you know, the business. Let me help the young guys and girls, let me do something like that… Yeah, maybe something in the creative department. We\’ll see.\”

Seth Rollins has been testing the waters for an acting career in recent times. He even shot stuff for Captain America: Brave New World but his part was ultimately cut from the movie.

  • The Rock Shares Unseen Footage From Elimination Chamber

The Rock has shared a new point of view on the shocking events of Elimination Chamber.

The People\’s Champion became the catalyst for one of the most shocking turns in the history of wrestling when he prompted John Cena to turn heel and attack the Undisputed WWE Champion. The wrestling world is still abuzz with the surprising turn of events at the latest WWE PPV.

The Rock rejoined this discussion on Monday when he shared some new backstage footage of the PPV night and claimed that he \’loves playing the good guy\’:

John Cena has not been seen on WWE TV since the March 1 event. Cody Rhodes has addressed his turn in Cena\’s absence saying his aspiration to win the 17th world title is a delusion.

The Cenation Leader, however, is scheduled to return to TV for the first time since his heel turn at next week\’s episode of the Red Branded Show from Brussels, Belgium.

The show which has a special start time of 3 pm ET/12 pm PT will also feature a number of big matches including an IC Championship match between Finn Balor and Bron Breakker.

It\’s unknown when or if The Rock will join this storyline again but for now, he seems to be content watching things unfold from afar.

  • Watch: Mystery Masked Superstar Who Is Not Chad Gable Debuts On Raw

A new masked superstar has joined the ranks of American Alpha and it\’s definitely not Chad Gable.

The former Olympian had been on an expedition the last few weeks, trying to find a solution to his \’Lucha problem.\’ Last week\’s episode of Raw saw Gable finally finding what he\’s been looking for in the form of a mystery box.

This week\’s episode of the Monday Night show then featured a tag team match between Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee of LWO and The New Day. The faces looked in control of the bout until a mysterious masked man showed up.

The masked star attacked Dragon Lee with a Frankensteiner and a jumping headbutt. When Rey Mysterio came out to confront him, the mystery star grabbed the WWE Hall of Famer and delivered a delayed German suplex.

This distraction allowed The New Day to capitalize and they won the match with an Up Up Down Down on Rey. The masked superstar on the other hand ran away as the security tried to apprehend him.

Cathy Kalley questioned Chad Gable about the attack later in the night but he denied being the one behind the mask. As she was pressing the issue, the security appeared behind them with the mystery star.

This development absolutely and completely absolves Chad Gable from the accusations. The big question after the show is who is behind the mask if not the American Alpha leader.

  • ‘He Can Light Somebody Up’ – Steve Austin Strongly Endorses Top WWE Star\’s Mic Work

Stone Cold Steve Austin has praised the mic work of one of the current WWE stars in his own unique way.

The wrestling legend recently had an interview with Adrian Hernandez. He talked about things such as his recent knee replacement surgery, potential WrestleMania 41 appearance, and more.

During the interview, Steve Austin was also asked about his thoughts on CM Punk. The Attitude Era star first recalled the famous picture of himself with a younger Punk and said that he is a fan of the Straight Edge Star:

\”Well, me and Punk are friends from way back. There was a picture back from, you know, probably in my heyday and you know, he\’s a lot younger than I am and we got a picture there together and he\’s just a young kid. And so I think, you know, he was a Stone Cold fan back in the day and I\’m a CM Punk fan.\”

He Can Light Somebody Up: Stone Cold Steve Austin

Steve Austin who is considered one of the greatest mic workers of all time also offered big praise to CM Punk for his promo skills. He said that the current WWE star can light somebody up when he wants to:

\”I\’m a fan of his work and his promos. Jesus Christ, he can light somebody up. So, you know, we don\’t talk a whole lot. We\’ll send each other a text every now and then, but we\’re probably really, really good friends that don\’t talk a whole lot and have a lot of mutual respect for each other. I enjoy what he does.\”

CM Punk has never been shy about his appreciation for Austin\’s work either. He has named the Texas Rattlesnake as his dream opponent on multiple occasions.

  • Tony Khan Names One Celebrity He\’d Like To Book In AEW Match

Tony Khan has named the one celebrity he would always welcome back in AEW.

The company\’s partnership with TikTok stars The Costco Guys have proven to be a very fruitful endeavor for the promotion. Big Boom AJ who wrestled at the PPV tonight has helped promote the company outside of the usual wrestling circles and brought new eyes to the product.

The AEW President was asked about AJ\’s performance and which other celebrity he could see wrestling for the company during the post-Revolution media scrum. Tony Khan named NBA legend Shaquille O\’Neal as someone who is always welcome to do something with the promotion:

\”Another person who came in and did fantastic for us and it\’s somebody who has a lot of history in this arena in particular and somebody I think the world of is Shaq. Shaq came in and was fantastic for AEW and that was actually four years ago this week, ahead of the second Revolution, Revolution 2021. Shaq was in AEW, so four years ago we saw him. He is absolutely somebody else who\’s always welcome in AEW.\”

Shaq was involved in a storyline with AEW back in early 2021. The story led to him teaming up with Jade Cargill to defeat the duo of Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet at the March 3, 2021 episode of Dynamite. Tony Khan claimed that the retired Basketball player is one of the most genuine people behind the scenes:

\”He was one of the greatest celebrities we\’ve ever had and he is truly one of the most recognizable people in the world when he goes in front of the camera, but Shaq is also one of the most genuine, authentic and respectful and kind and amazing people behind the camera as well. So Shaq is always somebody that I would hold up to that standard.\”

  • Big Boom AJ Confirms Family AEW Contract Status After Revolution 2025

Big Boom AJ has confirmed his AEW contract status after the Revolution 2025 PPV.

The social media star took part in the post-Revolution media scrum after picking up another victory tonight. He was asked about potentially getting deeper into wrestling and signing a contract with Tony Khan\’s promotion after the latest PPV.

Answering the question, AJ revealed that he is actually already signed to the company, as is Big Justice and The Rizzler. He claimed all of them are going to be \’here for a while\’:

\”How much deeper does everybody want me to get? I thought I was deep. [Laughs]. Yes, I am officially with AEW right now. I’m undefeated. I am under contract right now, as is Big Justice and The Rizzler. We are going to be here for a while.

I know there are some names on the AEW roster that I might be gunning for. Some guys out there who don’t quite believe in what I believe in; the happiness, the positivity, the boom. You never know how deep this thing is going to go,\”

Big Boom AJ competed in a six men tag team match at AEW Revolution: Zero Hour. He teamed up with Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe to defeat MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden) and Johnny TV. Both Big Justice and The Rizzler were part of the action as well.

Other big winners from the show include Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley, and Swerve Strickland. Unfortunately for Strickland however, the victory didn\’t come without some damage and he revealed that he is dealing with an injury after the show. You can check out more details here.

  • Swerve Strickland Has Ruptured Eardrum After AEW Revolution 2025

Swerve Strickland has revealed that he is dealing with a serious injury after the 2025 AEW Revolution PPV from Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles.

The former AEW Champion picked up a big victory at tonight\’s show. He defeated Ricochet to become the new #1 contender for Jon Moxley\’s AEW World title.

Strickland was the first guest of the post-Revolution media scrum after his big win. Before answering questions, the former champion warned the attendees to speak loudly as he was dealing with an injury in his right ear:

\”Pardon me, everybody, I have a ruptured eardrum right now. So I can only hear out of this ear [left], so definitely be loud with your questions. Thank you.\”

His match with Ricochet was not the only time Swerve Strickland made an appearance at tonight\’s PPV. He also showed up with Prince Nana after the main event and attacked Jon Moxley.

This came after Mox successfully defended his championship in the main event of the show. The AEW champion defeated both his original challenger Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, who cashed in his championship contract, to retain his title.

Strickland stayed around the ringside area even after the PPV event went off air. He got to share a moment with his childhood idol Adam Copeland after the show. You can check out what happened after Revolution here.

  • Watch: What Happened With Swerve Strickland After AEW Revolution Went Off Air

Swerve Strickland got to share a moment with his childhood idol after the AEW Revolution PPV from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles went off the air.

Jon Moxley defended his AEW World Championship against Adam Copeland in the main event of the latest AEW show. With Cope having taken out most of the Death Riders, Mox walked into this bout alone.

Wheeler Yuta did come out later and sided with the AEW Champion. His help didn\’t prove enough for Mox to retain the belt as Jay White came out and beat Yuta up. White and Yuta then brawled each other away from the match.

The two main eventers continued their fight and Cope almost won the match after delivering not one but three spears to his opponent. Christian Cage, however, came out of nowhere and pulled the referee out at the last second.

    What Happened After Revolution

Cage then cashed in his championship contract and made the bout a triple threat. Though he failed to pick up the victory in the end as Jon Moxley choked Christian out to retain the title once again.

Mox walked through the crowd after his victory but he was stopped by Prince Nana. As Mox argued with Nana, the new #1 contender Swerve Strickland came out of nowhere and jumped on Mox. The show ended with Swerve standing tall.

The former AEW Champion got into the ring after this segment and shared a moment with Cope. He cut a promo letting Copeland know that it was his house to end the night.

  • Stephanie Vaquer And More NXT Names Attend New York Rangers NHL Game Before Roadblock

Several top WWE NXT stars including Stephanie Vaquer enjoyed some time off before their big matches at the upcoming Roadblock special.

The reigning NXT Women\’s North American Champion recently shared some photos from the New York Rangers vs. Columbus Blue Jackets NHL game on Sunday. The photos show Vaquer attending the game with Oba Femi and Ethan Page:

All three of these names are scheduled to compete at the upcoming Roadblock special from The Theatre at Madison Square Garden on March 11.

Oba Femi will be defending his NXT Championship in a cross-promotion match. He\’ll face TNA X-Division champion Moose in the main event of the show.

Ethan Page on the other hand, will be facing the 20-year-old sensation Je\’Von Evans in a singles bout. The match will be contested under New York Street Fight rules.

Potentially the most interesting match of the night will see Stephanie Vaquer taking on NXT Women\’s Champion Giulia at the show. Both the women will be putting their titles on the line for this bout, though it\’s not a championship unification match.

Apart from this, the show will also feature The Hardy Boyz putting their TNA Tag Team Championships on the line and more. You can check out more details about the event here.

  • AEW Excludes Kamille From Queen Of The Ring Premiere Video

Everything is not right between Kamille and AEW.

The former NWA Women\’s Champion has been missing from AEW programming since last year, with very little update on when or if she will be returning to the company. Kamille was found mysteriously attacked backstage during the November 30 episode of Rampage.

Many have believed due to this segment that she was written off TV for outside work and the female star will be back with the company at the right time. A new move from the promotion however puts the possibility of it in doubt.

AEW recently posted a video from the Queen of The Ring premiere event, highlighting various roster members who made an appearance including Toni Storm, Swerve Strickland, and more.

The video, however, curiously excludes any footage of Kamille who was also present on the night. This is despite the fact that the former champion actually starred in the movie as June Byers.

Queen of The Ring is a biographical sports drama featuring the story of Mildred Burke. The movie starring Emily Bett Rickards in the main role premiered in the United States on March 7.

Kamille ended her association with current TBS Champion Mercedes Mone prior to being written off TV so she has a story for her return. The latest exclusion from AEW however, puts a question mark over her status with the company.

  • Will Ospreay Reveals If He Considers Himself \’Best In The World\’

Will Ospreay has revealed the one time he called himself the best in the world.

The AEW star recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet. He talked about things such as his match with Bryan Danielson that was rated six and a half stars by Dave Meltzer, Triple H taking shot at him and more.

During the interview, Ospreay was also asked if he thinks about life after wrestling. The Aerial Assassin noted that he wants to have a normal life and have a regular job once he retires, but for now he\’s focused on being the best in the world.

This prompted the question if he thinks he is the best wrestler in the world like many believe him to be and Will replied negatively:

“Yeah, of course not. I’m confident in my abilities, and I’m confident with my audience. Does that make me the best? I don’t know. Because I feel like the best is now so widely spread. Are you the guy that draws the most? Are you the guy that shifts the most merch? Are you best bell to bell? And I’ll just go I’m the best.\”

The Only Way I Could Put It: Will Ospreay

Will Ospreay then revealed the one incident when he called himself one of the best of the sport. He recalled being out with his son watching a circus performance:

\”I was out with my kid watching Cirque du Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall, and a guy came up and he takes a photo with me. Then Harry goes, why does that happen all the time?

I was just like, I don’t know how to explain it to him, because he’s six, and I have the mental capacity of a six-year-old. So I went, you know I do wrestling. He’s like, yeah. I said I’m like the best. That’s the only way I could put it.”

The 31-year-old also noted that his style has changed a lot from when he was 27 years old. According to him, doing something like a shooting star press takes a lot out of him nowadays. His body has locked up so he is having to change his wrestling style accordingly.

  • \’This Is The Last Stop\’: Shawn Spears Explains Retirement Plans

Shawn Spears has explained how his mindset about retirement has changed after having kids.

The new NXT North American Champion recently had an interview with Gabby Laspisa. He talked about things such as leaving AEW for NXT, Cody Rhodes\’ WrestleMania plans, and more.

When asked about plans for his retirement, Spears who made his wrestling debut 23 years ago in 2002 noted that he always wanted to complete 25 years in wrestling. After the birth of his two sons with WWE alumni Peyton Royce, his mindset has changed:

\”Before the kids it was kind of like, let\’s just, I\’ll just listen to my body kind of thing, which kind of still plays today. I thought if I can make it to a quarter of a century, cuz that just sounds, a, old but also sounds kind of neat. If I can make 25 years. 25 years at anything is impressive. 25 years in a sport? It\’s pretty rare.

But now it\’s pretty much as my kids get into playing sports, once they can play baseball, soccer, in another couple like another year, year and a half, two years. I also want to do Jiu-Jitsu with my kids. So once they\’re old enough to understand some kind of control, like emotional regulation or whatever, maybe like four or five.

I want to do that with them. So that\’s something we would do together. So when they see me getting beat up a little bit, which I will, I\’m gonna get my ass thrown around. It\’s one of those things where it\’s okay. I just need to control how I react to it, kind of thing.\”

I\’m Not Going Anywhere: Shawn Spears

Apart from running his own successful wrestling school named Flatbacks Wrestling, Shawn Spears also teaches a class in NXT. When the possibility of him leaving the development brand to go elsewhere was brought up, the wrestling veteran said that \”I\’m not going anywhere. This is the last stop.\”

The 44-year-old explained that he\’ll continue training people even after he has retired from active competition, though he\’ll do it only as long as he can get in the ring and teach people things firsthand:

\”So, if I\’m still able to do those things and play sports and kick a ball and if they run and jump on me and I can catch them without blowing out my back or worrying about my knees collapsing, then I\’ll be okay. But I\’m gonna listen to the body on that regard.

Right now, I feel good. I\’m still moving and I feel as if I can still keep up with the younger kids and I can still you know, I can still hang. But as long as it doesn\’t kind of disrupt any plans I have in the future with my kids, I\’ll do it as long as I can. The beautiful thing is that even when I step back from on-screen performing as a professional wrestler, I\’m still gonna be, I\’m still gonna have the school, I\’m still gonna teach.

I\’m still gonna be actively in there because I believe that\’s the best way to learn is by hands-on teaching. That\’s the way I was taught by Eric Young and that\’s the way I teach my kids now at the Performance Center and here. So, I\’ll always be a hands-on coach. The day that I can\’t be, that\’s probably time to pack it in.\”

  • \’It\’s A Gift\’: Nikki Bella Reacts To John Cena\’s Shocking Heel Turn

Nikki Bella has reacted to her ex-fiancé John Cena finally turning heel.

The wrestling world is still abuzz after the Cenation Leader did the unthinkable and joined The Rock at Elimination Chamber. The 16-time world champ\’s brutal attack on his WrestleMania opponent Cody Rhodes is a side of Cena that fans thought they\’ll never get to see. It has increased the excitement for their upcoming WWE championship match manyfolds.

The Bella Twins had an interview with TK Trinidad while appearing on the Red Carpet for The Queen of The Ring movie. When asked about John\’s heel turn, Brie Bella said that it was done very well:

\”About time. I\’m actually really happy because this is his farewell year, and I didn\’t know if he\’d give it or not. So, I love it and the way it was done. I mean, chef\’s kiss.\”

It\’s Like A Gift: Nikki Bella

John Cena\’s former fiancé Nikki Bella then gave her thoughts on his turn. She said that it\’s something people have wanted for long and it\’s kind of a gift for the fans from the former champion in his retirement year:

\”It was done so well. I think to end your farewell tour and turn into a character that the fans have wanted for so long. It\’s not only, I think, going to be fun for him, but how great for the fans. It\’s like a gift he\’s giving. You know what I mean? I think it\’s so cool. It was amazing, too.\”

Apart from this, The Bella twins also talked about the potential of WWE return and teased a comeback in near future. You can check out their full interview below:

  • Carmella Reacts To Fan Wishing Death On Her For WWE Remarks

Carmella has reacted to fans telling her she needed to die for speaking about her WWE departure.

The former SmackDown Women\’s Champion appeared on the Barely Famous podcast earlier this week to discuss her unceremonious departure from the company in detail.

Many fans took the side of the billion-dollar corporation, however, targeting the female star with harsh comments. One such fan took things too far and wished death upon the former champion in a tweet that\’s since been taken down for violating the site rules:

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"

Carmella also responded to another tweet discussing the situation and noted that such reactions are the reason why talent are afraid to speak up about their struggles:

“Literally. this is why women are afraid to speak up because they get ridiculed nonstop for it. but it is what it is! I’d rather be hated for telling the truth than stay silent.”

The Princess of Staten Island was left surprised when WWE informed her that her deal was coming up and they were not looking to re-sign her earlier this year. The now former WWE star had been on hiatus since March 2023 due to her pregnancy and subsequent health issues.

According to Carmella herself, the company had given her the impression that her deal was frozen and it would only be reinstated when she returned to the ring. You can check out her remarks on the matter here.

  • Vic Joseph Discusses Reuniting With Corey Graves After Recent Controversy

Vic Joseph believes the chemistry between him, Booker T, and Corey Graves is only going to get better with time.

The Saviour of Misbehaviour made some headlines earlier this year when he was taken off the SmackDown commentary team and re-assigned to NXT. Graves saw the move as a demotion and vented frustration at being replaced by Pat McAfee on the main roster in a social media outburst. Things seem to have settled down since then, however, and Corey is now focusing on making the most out of this new opportunity.

During a recent interview with Getting Over podcast, Vic Joseph was asked about the Corey Graves situation and how big of a personal hill he thinks Graves needed to overcome to accept his new reality. Joseph explained that Corey needed to look at the whole thing from a different angle:

“I think he had to have a new set of eyes and you know, take a deep breath. [It\’s] something we’ve always talked about…we used to travel in the car together. [It] was [like], ‘Hey man, it’d be cool to call the shows together one day.’ I think once he and I had the talk, like, ‘Dude, this is what we’ve always talked about.’ He was kind of like, ‘Yeah, you’re right.’\”

Now He Can Take a Deep Breath: Vic Joseph

Vic Joseph then detailed an incident highlighting his long-term friendship with the fellow announcer. Speaking on the transition of going from a two-men booth on SmackDown to a three-men booth in NXT, the broadcast personality explained that it took a while for Corey Graves to get comfortable in the new dynamic:

\”I always wore a bow tie, every WrestleMania. It\’s a velour bow tie, people forget. I think I\’ve told this story one time but Corey Graves gave me that as a gift at my very first WrestleMania. So we have that personal connection.

I think the difficulty [is] for Corey, and I think this is where you start to see that seamless transition. Now, he doesn’t have to do as much. Now he can take a deep breath. Now he can take a step back and understand that it is three of us, three unique individuals, three distinct personalities for one goal for one show. So it\’s been getting better each and every week. And it\’s only gonna get better.\”

  • \’I Hope I Never See You\’: Travis Scott Is In Hall of Famer\’s Blacklist After Elimination Chamber

Bully Ray is pissed at Travis Scott\’s involvement in John Cena\’s heel turn.

The popular music star has received a lot of criticism in wrestling circles after the latest WWE PPV. People have questioned his involvement in the whole angle after reports that his slap led to a ruptured eardrum for Cody Rhodes at the show.

The WWE Hall of Famer was not shy on his thoughts on the matter during the latest Busted Open Radio. He claimed that Scott deserves to have his jaw shattered for what he did:

\”Travis Scott deserves to have his jaw shattered and wired shut. It’s when the mark in the ring all of a sudden decides that he’s a pro wrestler and he knows what the hell he’s doing, and that mark is Travis Scott… Dude, because Travis Scott decided that he’s going to look like some tough guy in front of the world. You got one coming, Travis. I hope it’s from Cody. If it’s not from him, I hope I never see you one day.\”

It\’s worth mentioning that Cody Rhodes has seemingly downplayed the damage from Scott\’s slap. The Rock also noted during the post-Elimination Chamber press conference that Travis wanted to get his hands bloody so he told the rap artist to \’make it count.\’

Despite the hate, it doesn\’t appear we\’ve seen the last of Travis Scott in WWE. The Rock has suggested that he has caught the wrestling bug after his appearance and he is training to get in the ring as a performer down the line.

  • Carmella Explains WWE Contract Mystery

Carmella has explained how it\’s possible for her to not know that her WWE contract was going to expire.

The female star appeared on the Barely Famous podcast for the first time since the news of her exit from WWE became public. She talked openly about the circumstances leading to her departure.

The former SmackDown Women\’s Champion went on a hiatus in March 2013 due to her pregnancy. When asked how the company first reacted to the news, Carmella noted that they were very supportive at the time:

\”A handful of women have gotten pregnant while under contract and basically, they freeze your contract while you\’re pregnant. They pay you, which is so incredible. They don\’t have to pay you when you\’re pregnant, and they paid me, and they\’ve paid every woman that\’s been pregnant before under contract. I\’m so grateful for that.\”

    These Dates Will Change

The Princess of Staten Island then went into details of why and how it was possible for her to not know that her WWE contract was coming to an end until she got the call from the office. Carmella explained that the standard procedure is for a frozen contract to be reinstated after the star returns to action. In her case, however, the officials decided to reinstate her deal in January 2024, without notifying her:

\”Basically when I got pregnant, they sent me a letter and they said that like, they gave me X amount of days off on my contract for being pregnant and then seven weeks postpartum. So basically, they anticipated how long it would take me to recover postpartum. I\’m assuming they give this number to all the women who get pregnant, right? But they said in this letter like no matter what, when you return to wrestling, these dates will all change.

So basically, it\’s just kind of like a placeholder date and number and period of time that you have off, but when you return to wrestle, that\’s the date that we\’re actually going to take. That contract would be frozen for that amount of time that you were out.

So like say I was out for 300 days and then like okay, we\’re going to freeze your contract for 300 days. Or we\’re going to freeze your contract for whatever amount of time, but I was out for 300 days then once I came back, they would add that 300 days back onto my contract. If that makes sense. So that was just the impression I was under because that\’s how it\’s worked for other women in the past and that\’s how it\’s worked if you\’re injured or anything. \”

Carmella also revealed that she had contact with the company during this period. She didn\’t want to be sitting home just collecting her paycheck, so she pitched ideas to be involved in various non-wrestling capacities such as pre-show panelist or manager for a team. Though she was not informed of the change in her contract status even when she let the company know about her postpartum medical issues. She only became aware of it when she was called to inform that her deal will not be renewed earlier this year.

  • Did You Catch Shinsuke Nakamura\’s Tribute To Retiring Japanese Legend On SmackDown

Shinsuke Nakamura paid tribute to a fellow Japanese wrestling legend on this week\’s episode of SmackDown from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The US Champion was defending his title against LA Knight in the main event of the show. The match originally set for last week was re-scheduled after the passing of Nakamura\’s friend and veteran wrestler Osamu Nishimura.

The ending of the bout saw the King of Strong Style accidentally spitting the mist on the referee instead of Knight, which took the official out of the match.

Shinsuke Nakamura Pays Tribute To Meiko Satomura

Nakamura used the opportunity to take out his opponent with a kick. The wrestling veteran followed this with a tribute to fellow Japanese wrestler Meiko Satomura, using her finishing move Scorpio Rising on the challenger:

The US Champion then grabbed the steel chair he had introduced in the match earlier to finish Knight once and for all. The challenger however, managed to kick the chair out of Nakamura\’s hand, and he delivered a BFT on the chair itself to finally get the pin.

After a career spanning 3 decades, Meiko Satomura is set to retire from active competition later this month. Her final match will be taking place at the Sendai Girls event \’Satomura The Final\’ on April 29, 2025.

In her illustrious career, Satomura has wrestled for promotions such as WCW, Stardom, DDT and more. She also competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic and held the NXT UK Women\’s Championship for 451 days.

  • The Undertaker Influenced Cast Change For WWE LFG Season 2

The Undertaker\’s influence led to a big change in the second season of the WWE Legends & Future Greats series which fans have mixed reactions about.

The reception to renewal of the A&E show earlier this week was not all positive. Many fans were not happy with the news of the show\’s only female coach Mickie James being replaced by Michelle McCool, while all three male coaches in The Undertaker, Bully Ray, and Booker T are being retained.

Fightful Select recently provided an update on this change and revealed how The Dead Man caused this change unintentionally.

According to the report, the showmakers wanted Undertaker to continue in his role in the new season, but his condition to do so was the involvement of his wife. So the decision was made to replace James with McCool.

It\’s worth noting that the WWE Hall of Famer did not request Mickie to be taken off the show. He just wanted the involvement of Michelle, with the producers deciding to replace the wrestling veteran on their own.

The LFG series sees 16 aspiring WWE stars competing for an NXT contract. Each of the legends has 4 rookies in their teams, with the contestants selecting which coach they want to be associated with.

The shooting for season 2 is already underway so it doesn\’t seem likely that the negative reaction could lead to James being brought back as a full-time coach atleast for this season.

  • Will Ospreay Reveals Wrestling Moment That Made Him Feel He\’d Made It

Will Ospreay has opened up about his highly praised match with Bryan Danielson.

The Aerial Assassin recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet. He talked about things such as why he chose to sign with AEW, Chris Jericho calling him to warn him against high-risk moves, his post-retirement plans and more.

When asked if he still gets nervous before matches, the former IWGP World champion specifically recalled the Bryan match as something that made him really nervous. Ospreay who had only been signed to AEW for 6 months at that point noted that he couldn\’t believe that the match was even happening, let alone so soon after he inked the deal:

\”There’s a moment where I’m standing there opposite him and it’s just before the bell rings, we’re standing there looking at one another. He’s got this big smile on his face, and I just couldn’t help but look around as being like man, there’s 7,000 people in here.

I thought for the life of me I would have been just a kid in Japan for the rest of my life. I thought that was that was going to be me, and then just to stand there and look at him and just be like, Oh my God, here it is.\”

Always Wanted To Be One Of Those Guys: Will Ospreay

The match between Will Ospreay and Bryan Danielson took place at the 2024 Dynasty PPV. Dave Meltzer gave the match six and a half star, his second-highest rating ever given after the famous 7-star Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada match in 2018.

The moment was also one that made Ospreay feel like he had finally achieved what he wanted in pro wrestling. According to him, he always wanted to be one of those names that made the crowd go nuts just by their presence:

\”I said, ‘Sir this is going to be a pleasure.’ Then we backed up, the bell rang and I was just like, let’s go. I’ve never felt more like I finally did it. When Bryan and Kenny stood in the ring, the bell rung and the f*cking place stood up. I always wanted to be one of those guys. And at that moment I was like oh sh*t, I finally did it. I’m one of those guys now.”

The Ospreay match would end up being one of the final matches of Bryan\’s full-time career. The American Dragon said goodbye to his full time run only months later at the WrestleDream PPV.

  • \’He Brought Light\’ – Jey Uso Discusses Sami Zayn\’s Contribution To Bloodline Story

Jey Uso says The Bloodline\’s chemistry with Sami Zayn was real.

The Honorary Uce added a whole new dimension to the Bloodline story when he joined the faction. What was a very serious group till that point, became one of the funniest acts in all of wrestling without losing any significance. Many believe that with his work, Zayn saved the Bloodline story by stopping it from going stale.

The 2025 Royal Rumble winner was asked about Sami\’s contributions to the group in a new interview with Shak Wrestling. Jey Uso noted how Zayn brought a \’whole different genre\’ to the Bloodline story:

\”Man, he brought a different…cuz everyone\’s so serious, right? He brought just a whole different genre. He brought light, he brought fun to us, man. Comedy to us. He just switched the whole narrative, man, and it just worked.

Every week we didn\’t know what we was doing. It was the week, the day of. All right, what did we do last week? What do we need to do tonight? That\’s how we would do our segments or whatever, sitting in the room with Paul Heyman, Triple H, like the masterminds and we just cook it up, man.\”

All That Was Real: Jey Uso

The chemistry between Sami Zayn and all other members of The Bloodline was different than anything seen on wrestling TV before. With his incredible character work, the Underdog from The Underground was able to make people laugh while also developing a persona at the same time that people could get behind as a serious world title contender.

Jey Uso claimed that they wouldn\’t be Bloodline without the contributions of the former NXT Champion. He noted how the backstage segments where Zayn made everyone break characters was very reminiscent of their friendship in real life:

\”He literally added extra chapters to the Bloodline Uce, you know? We wouldn\’t be Bloodline without Sami Zayn, man. And I loved it, man. He brought some of the best segments out, Uce. You know how he just made us laugh on TV. All that was real. All of it was real.

Live TV, can\’t. Half the backstages, man, I\’m trying to cover up my face cuz I can\’t stop laughing. Man. It\’s like all right, we\’re three, two, one, like we\’re going. We\’re going live and then I\’m like \’Don\’t make me laugh, Uce, please don\’t make me laugh.\’ We was just trying to pop each other the whole time.\”

  • AJ Styles Says One Of His Most Famous Matches Was Ad Libed After Missed Spot

AJ Styles believes one of his best performances could have been \’really good\’ instead of being just good.

The Unbreakable 2005 Triple Threat between Styles, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels is considered one of the best three-way matches ever put together in wrestling. It\’s one of the first bouts of its kind that received a 5-star rating from Dave Meltzer and the recently retired Christopher Daniels has named it a moment he\’d like to be remembered for.

The Phenomenal One opened up about this match during a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet. He noted how all three of them knew each other very well as they had been in the ring with each other many times. According to AJ Styles, however, the bout that lasted about 23 minutes did not reach its full potential because they messed up a spot:

“It could have been better. We went home way earlier than we were supposed to. We got mixed up in a spot. Joe did something. I was like, Wait, are we supposed to be going here? Nope, bam. We did it anyway. So we ad-libbed a good 10 minutes of that match. All that at the end is totally ad-libbed. Thank God, we knew each other so well, because we could just communicate and get to where we needed to be. So it could have been really good. It was just good.”

Apart from this, AJ Styles also talked about other moments from his TNA career and discussed the company bringing in Hulk Hogan to grow the promotion. The move ultimately proved to be a costly mistake leading to Styles\’ own exit from TNA in 2014. You can check out AJ\’s thoughts on the matter here.

  • Justin Trudeau Talks Booing of US National Anthem After Elimination Chamber

Justin Trudeau has seemingly acknowledged the events of the Elimination Chamber.

Tensions have grown exponentially between countries of Canada and the US in weeks since Donald Trump took oath as the 47th president of the United States in January. Adhering to his campaign promises, the business mogul has imposed tariffs on various imports from Canada and Mexico, while also repeatedly making calls for Canada to become the 51st state of America.

The people of Canada have not taken these threats lightly and have started protesting against Trump\’s intimidation tactics in various ways. One of the ways people of the country have shown their objection is by booing at the US National Anthem during various sporting events. This includes recent US-Canada match in the NHL 4 Nations Face-Off tournament and the Elimination Chamber PPV from Toronto.

The Canadian Prime Minister who has repeatedly been called the \’governor of Canada\’ by Trump addressed the recent moves of their long-term ally on Tuesday. During the speech, Justin Trudeau acknowledged his people booing the American anthem saying that it\’s a protest against the policies and not the people:

\”We’re probably going to keep booing the American anthem, but let me tell Americans, we’re not booing you, we’re not booing your teams, we’re not booing your players. We’re booing a policy that is designed to hurt us. And we’re insulted, and we’re angry, but we’re Canadian. Which means we’re going to stand up for each other, we’re going to fight, and we’re going to win.”

Trudeau also said Canadians are hurt and angry at being dragged into this trade war. He urged his people not to go on vacation in the US and to buy Canadian products as much as possible instead of goods from America.

WWE\’s Pat McAfee had addressed the incidents on his show as well. After previously lashing out at the people of Canada, he defended his remarks saying that he loves his country. You can check out what he said here.

  • Carmella Warns Against \’Assumptions\’ On WWE Exit After Viral Clip

Carmella has warned people not to make assumptions about her exit from WWE and only make judgement after knowing all the details.

A preview clip of the female star\’s upcoming interview went viral on social media early on Tuesday with the edit making it seem like the former champion was really bitter about the end of her WWE run.

The Staten Island Princess however, made a tweet later in the day claiming that people should not make assumptions about her feelings before getting the chance to listen to the full conversation:

\”All I have to say is, before you make assumptions/judgements, make sure you listen to the full conversation. Then let me know what you think.\”

Carmella\’s WWE run came to an unceremonious end this month after 12 years when her contract with the company expired and the officials chose not to renew the deal.

The former SmackDown Women\’s Champion had already been off road for a couple years due to her pregnancy and subsequent health issues, so she did not get the chance to say goodbye to fans with a final match before her departure.

Her husband Corey Graves continues to be part of the WWE roster currently serving as an NXT commentator. Though his standing in the company seems to have been affected by a recent social media outburst, after which the promotion has snubbed him from main roster appearances even when the opportunity araised.

It\’s unknown if Carmella is planning an in-ring return outside of WWE but we should get a better idea when her full interview drops on Thursday. Stay tuned to SEScoops for a comprehensive coverage of the same.
