  • John Cena Asked About The Rock\’s WrestleMania 41 Absence, 17th Title Win

John Cena trolled everyone in his first appearance after WrestleMania 41.

The Cenation Leader made history at the Show of Shows by defeating Cody Rhodes to win his 17th world title. Travis Scott came out to help Cena during the bout and in the end, John won using a low blow and the championship belt to his advantage.

The new Undisputed WWE Champion took part in the post-WrestleMania press conference to \’develop a better relationship with media and journalists\’ who cover the sport, and claimed that he would field all questions asked to him.

He was immediately asked about the glaring absence of The Rock from the show after forming an alliance with Cena at Elimination Chamber. The WWE Champion answered very briefly, saying that it\’s a \’clickbait question and lazy reporting.\’

Tune Into Monday Night: John Cena

The Hollywood star then answered questions about his preparation for the Mania match and not smiling with the same select words. The final question of the conference was about his 17th title win, and John Cena finally gave people a headline:

\”You know that seems like a clickbait question, I\’m beginning to sense a pattern here. That you guys are just looking for headlines, so I’ll give you one. Tune into Monday Night Raw, to see how I ruin wrestling. And keep in mind, you\’re now talking to the last real champion. Step your game up next time.\”

Cathy Kelley also tried to speak to Cody Rhodes after his title loss in the main event. The now former champion, however, was speechless and he walked away without saying any words, accompanied by Brandi Rhodes.

It\’d be interesting to see if Rhodes gets a rematch for the title or if a new challenger rises to face Cena after Mania. We should probably get the answer on Raw this Monday Night.

  • Watch: Unseen Footage of Damian Priest Being Helped To Back After Brutal WrestleMania 41 Match

Damian Priest might have suffered an injury at WrestleMania 41.

The former World Champion went to war with Drew McIntyre at the Show of Shows when the two faced each other in a Sin City Street Fight on night 2 of the PPV.

Neither of the competitors held anything back, and they used weapons like the steel steps and steel chair to inflict brutality on each other while trying to win the bout.

Towards the end of the match, Drew delivered a Future Shock DDT to Priest onto the steel steps but Damien somehow survived and continued the fight.

Damian Priest Helped To Back After WrestleMania 41 Match

The Scottish Warrior finally sent Damian crashing through not one but two tables on the outside of the ring. He followed it up with a Claymore into a chair to get the pin.

A fan video of the aftermath of the bout which has surfaced online, shows Damian Priest having to be helped to the back by the officials.

While an injury has not been confirmed as of this writing, it seems almost impossible that Priest walked away without at least some damage after the brutal match.

Whether he\’ll have to take some time off is something that would be revealed later. Stay tuned to SEScoops for more updates on his health.

  • Watch: What Happened With John Cena After WrestleMania 41: Night 2 Went Off Air

John Cena continued to disrespect the WWE title after WrestleMania went off air.

The Cenation Leader chased history when he went up against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41 night 2.

Many expected The Rock or Stone Cold Steve Austin to be a part of the match but fans only got disappointment in the department of surprise appearances.

The only big name that showed up was Travis Scott, who helped distract Cody for a while. Scott pulled the referee out while Rhodes went for the pin and ended up eating a Cross Rhodes for his effort.

John Cena then introduced the championship belt into the match. Cody got possession of the title after a tug of war with his opponent but he ultimately decided against using it.

    What Happened After WrestleMania 41

The Hollywood star had no such qualms, on the other hand. He delivered a low blow and hit the American Nightmare with the belt to get the pin for his historic 17th world title victory.

Cena invited Travis Scott back into the ring after his win, and the show went off air with the two celebrating in the squared circle while a shocked Rhodes looked on from outside.

WWE later posted the video of John after the show as the now 17-time world champion put the title on backwards. He walked out of the arena to a chorus of boos and a big smile on his face.

  • Stone Cold Steve Austin Reacts To Abysmally Long Hall of Fame Ceremony

Steve Austin believes some changes are in order for Hall of Fame.

WWE tried to adjust the schedule for Hall of Fame this year after previous complaints but they only ended up making things worse. The ceremony this year took place in a different venue instead of being broadcasted from the same arena as SmackDown after the Blue Branded Show.

The event, however, started pretty late and kept going until 5 AM. Fans have been poking fun at the whole thing, sharing images of the stars in attendance looking miserable and drifting off.

The Texas Rattlesnake who was honored at the show discussed it during a WWE World appearance on Saturday. The Hall of Famer was asked what is the most recent thing Stone Cold Steve Austin has learned. The former World Champion joked that he\’s learned that Hall of Fame needs to be shorter:

\”I learned that the Hall of Fame ought to be a little bit shorter than what it was, and it ought to start about 3 or 4 hours sooner. I got to bed about, I don\’t know, about 3:15, I\’d call it 3:16. When I live in Nevada, I\’m a hermit. I see my wife but…and I spent a lot of time in the desert, so I don\’t hang out with a whole lot of people.

So once I\’ve been hanging around a whole lot of people, I kind of gotta decompress and do my own thing. So I drank a beer and I had a little bit of a bottle of wine left. I chilled out and finally, I went to sleep. And when that alarm clock went off, I was red-eyed and drunk. I said, \’Man, what the F,\’\”

Another person who would agree with Steve Austin is Shawn Michaels. HBK, who inducted Triple H into Hall of Fame, had to stick around until very late. With Stand & Deliver having an unusual start time of 1 PM ET, the NXT head got only an hour of sleep before having to take charge at the arena.

The biggest wrestling week of the year continues with WrestleMania Sunday tonight. Stay tuned to SEScoops for all the latest updates.

  • Triple H Comments On Lex Luger\’s Hall of Fame Induction

Triple H has commented on Lex Luger\’s inspirational Hall of Fame induction.

The former WCW Champion had lost all mobility in his body at one point and was having trouble doing even the most basic tasks. His health has improved a lot over the last few months working with DDP Yoga, however.

The Game talked about all the inductions during the WrestleMania 41 night 1 press conference. While discussing Lex, he first joked about how he told Luger that he watched him as a kid before the ceremony. Though Triple H later also acknowledged DDP\’s work with the wrestling legend, because of which he was able to deliver his full speech standing up:

\”Lex Luger, well-deserved into the Hall of Fame. I said it to Lex last night when I saw him and realized it\’s probably one of the worst things you could tell another wrestler. I [said], \’I watched you when I was a kid, I thought you were great.\’ I realized it after I said it.

But to see his turnaround in life, to see what Diamond Dallas Page has done for so many people, and to have Lex be a part of that, to be able to stand up out of his wheelchair. I don\’t know how long he spoke, 10 minutes or so, but to be able to stand there for that length of time was just inspirational to see.\”

Apart from this Triple H also discussed WWE\’s surprise acquisition of AAA that was announced on Saturday and claimed that they\’ll be looking to preserve the style of Lucha Libre the company represents.

Night 1 of WrestleMania ended on a shocking note as Paul Heyman joined forces with Seth Rollins. You can check out a fan theory on how this turn is part of a bigger picture with a huge name involved here.

  • A Step Slower: John Cena Gets Candid About Wrestling Retirement Before Final WrestleMania

John Cena has explained his decision of retirement ahead of his final WrestleMania match tonight.

The Cenation Leader did an out-of-character interview for the first time since turning heel at Elimination Chamber, speaking to Daniel Cormier for ESPN. They talked about things such as Cena\’s upcoming match with Cody Rhodes, his last WrestleMania, and more.

They also discussed how Cena is back in a premier position in the main event, after his long losing streak before the Elimination Chamber. Cormier mentioned that John himself had made fun of his losses on many occasions, and the Cenation leader then explained how the decision of his retirement tour was born out of the discussion about his losing streak:

\”What I was trying to do is state facts and me being honest with my record basically led me to be like \’I got to retire.\’ The reason I hadn\’t had a lot of success in the WWE is because I\’m a part-time participant. This needs to consume your life to be great.

Not only consume your life but like you really have to be curious, passionate, open, humble. Man, I can only imagine that if you are not fully focused, coachable, and 100% involved in fight training. So in me trying to split time and thinking that I can do both. I just did this a lot less and less and was used accordingly.

As you are ushered on the way out, you\’re supposed to build all this energy and then give it away. That\’s the cycle of life in sports entertainment. If you leave with the energy, you have robbed the business. So me saying this over and over again, I was like, \’Man, I haven\’t won a match since this. I\’m going to be 48 next week.\’ So I was like, \’Oh man, it\’s time to retire.\’ That\’s when I was like, \’I\’d like to do this farewell tour.\’\”

    I\’m There: John Cena

Daniel Cormier mentioned how even with his reduced WWE schedule, John Cena has been busy outside of the company. The retired UFC fighter asked if the 16-time world champion has thought about life after WWE, and Cena explained that he\’s had a lot of time to think about it since he stopped wrestling full time in 2017:

\”I\’ve had a whole lot of time to think about this. I kind of weaned off a full-time schedule in 2017. It\’s 2025. So we\’re talking over a half decade to contemplate like, \’Oh man, this is this is kind of where it\’s at.\’ I also made a cemented promise, even in my 20s to the audience, \’When I am a step slow, I am out the door.\’ Like understand when your run is over and just bow out gracefully. I feel that I\’m a step slow. I\’m there.\”

When Cormier praised John, saying that he\’s still a very good wrestler, Cena explained that he is using the wisdom he has acquired in the ring over the years. Though while his enthusiasm for the business has remained the same, his athletic abilities have deteriorated. According to the wrestling veteran, he can \”only use those mental gymnastics so much\” and he has decided to call it a career because \”I don\’t ever want somebody to buy a ticket and feel robbed, that\’s all.\”

  • Hall of Famer Revealed As New AAA Authority Figure After WWE Acquisition

It appears that WWE will be appointing a Hall of Famer as the new on-screen authority figure for AAA after their surprise acquisition of the Mexican promotion.

The company announced the news of this international expansion early on Saturday, leaving many fans wondering how things will progress.

Former WWE Champion JBL provided at least some idea on how things will be moving forward in a promo at the end of the latest episode of AAA\’s TV show. He said that he is in the process of acquiring the company, suggesting that he\’ll be acting as the on-screen owner of the brand in the coming times:

\”People have asked me, where is JBL? It\’s very simple, I\’m the most in-demand superstar in the world today. I\’ve worked for every company all over the world in the past year alone.

The only thing that compares to me down here is Alberto Patrón. That man is a living legend. That is why I\’m here. You think Tariffs, and sending illegals back to this country, this third world country, is bad? You wait till I finish the acquisition, where I own AAA.\”

    . @JCLayfield nos manda un mensaje importante. ?#AlianzasAAA ? pic.twitter.com/dGNJmOgr4h

    — Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (@luchalibreaaa) April 20, 2025

JBL\’s promo also answers another burning question regarding the current AAA Mega champion, Alberto El Patrón. Known as Alberto Del Rio to WWE fans, the Mexican star\’s last run with the promotion did not end on good terms. He was fired for unprofessional conduct in 2014.

With Layfield praising the former League of Nations member, it appears that Del Rio\’s past deeds have been forgotten and he\’ll be sticking around the company atleast for now.

  • \’Cowardly\’: Big E Comments On New Day\’s WrestleMania 41 Title Win

Big E has mixed feelings about The New Day\’s tag team title victory at night 1 of WrestleMania 41 from Las Vegas.

The duo of Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston defeated War Raiders to become the new champions at the show of shows. Their victory was not clean, however, as Kofi Kingston held Ivar\’s leg down from outside while Woods pinned him.

Their former partner was asked about the tag team match in the post-show. Big E first noted how he can never deny that the duo have a lot of talent and they are one of the greatest tag teams ever. The way they achieved their latest accolade, however, is not something he approves of:

\”Cowardly. It\’s cowardly, man. Look, we always talked about, we started in 2014 and we talked about the way the industry is and how hard it is for certain talents to get [opportunities].

We always talked about doing things the right way in the ring and outside of the ring. To see the way that these men carry themselves now, to see the way that fans rightfully react to them, you know, this is…these are not the two men I thought I knew.\”

WrestleMania 41 marks the first time the New Day has picked up a victory at the Show of Shows as a team. While Big E reluctantly acknowledged this breakthrough achievement, he also questioned whether there is any honor in having to run away with the titles after their win:

\”Look at the way they did it. Is there any honor in that? Is anyone going to celebrate a win like that? Is that a match that will be replayed years and years later and we will stand on our feet and applaud them for their performance? No. It won\’t.\”

The War Raiders will not be happy with the way things ended and it\’s possible that we\’ll see them demanding a rematch for the belts.

  • Tiffany Stratton Teases Dream Feuds After WrestleMania 41 Victory

Tiffany Stratton has teased big plans for her in near future.

The Women\’s World Champion picked up the biggest victory of her career, defeating a veteran like Charlotte Flair on night 1 of WrestleMania 41 from Las Vegas this Saturday night. The female star first put over Flair while appearing on the post-show press conference, calling Charlotte her dream opponent.

When asked how important the win was for her to keep her confidence and momentum intact, Stratton talked about the stacked roster they have. The former NXT star then interestingly teased some big future feuds, saying that she got WrestleMania caliber rivalries \’stacked up\’ for her in the coming times:

\”So important. We have so many insanely talented, gifted, athletic, beautiful women on the roster. We\’ve got Bianca Belair, we\’ve got Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill. I have my feuds…. Like I\’ve got some people stacked up for me in the future.

I\’ve got dream WrestleMania opponents, dream feuds. So this win for me was super important and I\’m going to…like I said, take this momentum and hopefully in my next storyline, my next feud, I\’ll come out with the W again.\”

While Tiffany Stratton did not give away any names during the press conference, she has previously teased a match with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus on multiple occasions.

WWE is expected to hold only one show in Saudi Arabia this year in preparation for Royal Rumble next year. If they go by their usual schedule, the PPV could come in May or June and it\’s the most likely venue for this bout.

  • Huge Name Speculated To Be Behind Seth Rollins\’ WrestleMania 41 Heel Turn

Seth Rollins\’ heel turn at WrestleMania 41 might have a deeper meaning behind it.

The wrestling world was left in shock at the conclusion of night one of WWE\’s biggest show of the year. Most expected Paul Heyman to side with either CM Punk or Roman Reigns, and the wise man helping Rollins instead had not been in many people\’s bingo cards.

Though if the amateur detectives of the wrestling community are to be believed, then the signs for Seth\’s turn have been there since the Elimination Chamber, and there\’s actually a bigger plan behind the whole thing.

While John Cena joining hands with The Rock made the most headlines at the WWE PPV from Toronto, many fans pointed out that it was The Visionary who took out CM Punk during the main event, which allowed Cena to earn the WWE title match at WrestleMania.

    https://twitter.com/WWEisCINEMA/status/1910382760771932491

Not only that, but fans have also started uncovering similarities between Rollins\’ recent gestures and The Rock\’s last appearance, suggesting that it might not be a coincidence.

The Rock\’s absence from the build to WrestleMania after the March 1 PPV has been puzzling everyone. The Great One himself had suggested that the gap between his Bad Blood and Elimination Chamber appearances was intentional, and they were thinking years in advance.

So the People\’s Champion being behind Rollins\’ latest move is not completely out of question, even if a direct connection is hard to find.

Whether there is any truth to these speculations should be revealed tomorrow night when Cena competes in his last WrestleMania facing The Rock\’s arch rival and The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes in a historic main event.

  • Watch: Becky Lynch Reacts To Seth Rollins WrestleMania 41 Victory

Becky Lynch has no qualms about her husband Seth Rollins\’ actions in the WrestleMania 41: night 1 main event from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The Visionary had been in the ear of Paul Heyman throughout the build to his WrestleMania match, trying to convince him that neither Roman Reigns nor CM Punk really cared about him.

Even with the build, however, not many people expected Heyman to betray both of his longtime associates and align with Rollins at the Show of Shows. There are a lot of questions about how things will progress from here and whether Seth has made the right choice by joining hands with the former ECW owner.

Though one person who doesn\’t seem to have any doubt about it is Becky Lynch. The wrestling veteran reacted to her husband\’s big victory in the main event by posting a video of herself backstage as things unfolded. She also posted a photo of the closing shot of the show, branding Rollins as the GOAT:

Both Roman Reigns and CM Punk were in shock after this unexpected turn of events and they refused to speak in the post-show.

Rollins also missed the press conference so we\’ll have to tune in to Raw this Monday night to find out more about his and Heyman\’s new collaboration.

  • Watch: What Happened With Roman Reigns After WrestleMania 41 Night 1 Went Off Air

Roman Reigns couldn\’t believe what happened in the main event of WrestleMania 41: Saturday from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The triple threat main event between the Tribal Chief, CM Punk and Seth Rollins was centred around Paul Heyman, with all three superstars wishing Heyman to be on their side at the Show of Shows.

Punk who was owed a favor had the strongest claim over Heyman. Towards the end of the match it appeared that Paul would indeed be helping him as he handed a chair to the Straight Edge Star.

Heyman, however, betrayed his longtime friend by low-blowing him as Punk focused on Roman Reigns. The wise man then turned his attention to the Tribal Chief, now giving him the chair.

    What Happened After WrestleMania

Reigns however, ended up facing the same fate as Punk in the main event and he was also betrayed by the former ECW owner. Heyman ultimately sided with Seth Rollins and helped him pick up one of the biggest victories of his career.

The show went off air with Rollins and Heyman exiting the ring while the other two superstars remained. The broadcast continued in the post-show showing the aftermath of this shocking conclusion.

WWE has since posted the full video showing the reaction of both Punk and Rollins as they slowly realize the implications of what just transpired.

There are a lot of questions that need to be asked after this surprising finish and we\’ll have to tune in to Raw on Monday to find the answers.

  • AJ Styles: I Would Love To Wrestle One More Match At TNA

AJ Styles is interested in returning to his former home for one more match.

The Phenomenal One first became a big name in wrestling after joining TNA. Styles garnered a fan base in his decade-long run with the company, and it\’s the place where he first proved himself to be a main eventer.

With the recent TNA-NXT partnership bringing a number of top TNA stars to WWE, a lot of fans have wondered if we can see some top WWE stars cross the Forbidden Door and make appearances for the Anthem-owned promotion, too.

The former TNA World Champion was asked about the possibility during a recent live signing. AJ Styles said that he\’d love to have the opportunity to wrestle one more match in the promotion:

“I love it. You know, I still have a couple of friends there. I would love to have the opportunity to go back and wrestle at least one more match at TNA.\”

The WWE star was later also asked which TNA name he would like to step in the ring with if given a chance and he mentioned Frankie Kazarian.

Kazarian had his longest TNA run around the same time as AJ. He had a stint with AEW between 2019 and 2023, but he has since returned to the promotion and been a featured talent for the company.

  • Liv Morgan Receives Big Praise From Recently Departed WWE Star

Liv Morgan has received big praise from one of her former co-workers.

The former Women\’s World Champion has become one of WWE\’s top stars in recent times. In absence of veterans such as Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks, Morgan has stepped up to become one of the leaders of the Women\’s Division. Her feud with Rhea Ripley is one of the best stories WWE told in 2024.

Sonya Deville, who left WWE in February this year, was asked about Liv Morgan\’s ascension during a recent interview with Denise Salcedo. She explained that with Morgan, real name Gionna Daddio, what you see is what you get:

\”It\’s kind of surreal because everyone that knew Gionna, Liv like I\’ve known her for 10 years now. We always knew she had something special. She\’s such a unique individual.

Talk about someone being unapologetically themselves. She doesn\’t have a put on. There\’s no versions of Gionna. She just is who she is unapologetically, and I think people gravitate towards that because people like realness, right?\”

Deserves Every Ounce of It: Sonya Deville

The former WWE authority figure also discussed how Liv Morgan has never put anyone down while trying to bring herself up. Per Sonya Deville, this makes her very proud of everything Morgan has achieved:

\”So she\’s always had something unique about her, but watching her ascend to the top of the card, the top of the division, the company, and kind of take over is…I\’ve never been so proud for someone.

She\’s worked so hard for this. She\’s wanted this so bad and she\’s just gone about it all the right way. Just with good intentions. She didn\’t step on anyone on the way up and she deserves every ounce of it. So I\’m so proud of her.\”

  • Dug His Own Grave: Seth Rollins Opens Up About Hulk Hogan\’s Predicament

Seth Rollins believes Hulk Hogan is a victim of his own ego.

The WWE Hall of Famer is one name that has been missing from the festivities of WrestleMania. He wasn\’t present at last night\’s Hall of Fame event, and while Hulk is expected to be in the arena for WrestleMania 41, it\’s highly unlikely that he\’ll be shown on screen after his disastrous appearance at Raw\’s Netflix premiere.

The Architect was asked about his thoughts on the Real American on the Outta Pocket podcast. Rollins reiterated his previous comments, saying that Hulk has always been nice to him, but noted that he is also aware of the reasons for which people hate him:

\”Hogan\’s always been great to me. He was a guy who I was a fan of when I was growing up. He\’s always been personally good to me, but I\’ve seen, I mean I\’m not stupid I see everything that\’s out there. He\’s someone who is I think a victim of his own ego a little bit.

He just doesn\’t see. He doesn\’t understand how what he does affects people around him, you know? I think he just lives in this space that he\’s created for himself. He shaped his worldview and this is how he\’s gonna see things. I think if you\’re going to be like that people are gonna treat you accordingly. I don\’t know what to tell you. You know what I mean?\”

That\’s How It Is: Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins explained that he is not interested in being friends with someone who doesn\’t respect other people. He suggested that Hulk Hogan is not able to appreciate the gravity of his mistakes because he refuses to look past his ego:

\”It\’s just like any other relationship, like dude if you are not a good person and it\’s in your moral ethic to not treat everyone with the same respect regardless of what they do or where they come from or the color of their skin, I don\’t, I got no time for you.

I got respect for everything you\’ve done for my business. I really appreciate that, but as a person we\’re probably not gonna hang out, dude. You know what I mean? That\’s just is what it is. And I just don\’t think he\’s….whether he hasn\’t changed his personal beliefs or he hasn\’t taken the time to honestly make amends for some of the things he\’s said and done. I don\’t know which one it is.

Maybe it\’s both. Maybe it\’s one more than the other. I don\’t know. But you put those two things together, I just go…. I mean you kinda have dug your own grave, man. So if you don\’t feel like you wanna make that progress in your life with the people around you, then [you\’re] just not the kind of person I wanna associate with. That\’s how it is.\”

  • Former AEW Star Announces Retirement During WrestleMania Week

A former AEW star has announced his retirement from active competition.

Fuego Del Sol competed in a Mask vs. Career match against Atticus Cogar at GCW\’s Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9 from Pearl Theatre at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas this Friday night. After losing the bout, the high-flying star not only removed his mask but he also left his boots in the ring, which is generally a sign of a talent stepping away from active competition.

The 29-year-old, real name KJ Orso, also posted an emotional message on social media with the video of his GCW match. He noted that he\’d been chasing his dream but it\’s now time for him to focus on his family:

\”11 Years…Ups. Downs. Everything in between. I’ve been selfish and doing this for me. Now it’s time to focus on my family and feeding them. I left everything I had left in the ring…including my boots. From the bottom of my heart… Thank you all for everything. Fuego is Done.\”

Fuego made his debut in 2014 and competed in the Oklahoma and Texas indie circuits for many years. During this time, he also made appearances for Impact Wrestling and WWE on occasion.

Del Sol made his AEW debut in 2020 and made regular appearances for the company throughout the pandemic era. A friend of Sammy Guevara, Fuego was offered a contract in 2021. He stayed with the promotion for 2 years before announcing his departure in 2023.

  • Brie Bella Reveals How Sex Life With Bryan Danielson Has Changed

Brie Bella has revealed how her life with Bryan Danielson is changing as both their kids grow up.

The Bella Twins invited Sports Illustrated Model Jena Sims Koepka as a guest on the latest episode of their podcast. They talked about things such as balancing motherhood with their careers, fashion and more.

During the talk, Brie also discussed her sex life with husband Bryan Danielson. She claimed that they\’re not the kind to make a schedule for such things:

“I feel like Bryan and I aren’t the types to be like, ‘Oh, on Wednesday.’ But he and I will say—this is so funny—he and I are like, ‘We should probably have sex tonight because I go out of town tomorrow.’”

Brie Bella then discussed how their two children, daughter Birdie and son Buddy, are now both going to school. She explained how this change has affected their sex life:

“Our daughter does a full day at school but our son just started to go later in the day, so we finally did it. After workout, we felt it and it was spontaneous and nice and we were like, ‘Are we gonna start to be day sex people?’ The kids are gone and it felt spontaneous. It felt like how it used to be. It was so nice.”

Bryan Danielson was last seen on AEW TV during the WrestleDream PPV in October last year where he dropped the AEW title to Jon Moxley and ended his full-time wrestling run. The wrestling veteran has since announced that he\’ll be in attendance at the All In: Texas show on July 12, though he is not sure if he\’ll be wrestling at the PPV.

  • Another Former WWE Star Could Be Returning Soon

A former WWE star could be returning to WWE as soon as this WrestleMania weekend.

Reports of Rusev aka Miro having signed a new WWE deal came out earlier this week and Big E later practically confirmed that the former AEW star will be returning to the promotion.

These reports have been followed up by speculations of Rusev\’s wife and a former WWE star in her own right, Lana potentially joining her life partner in the return.

PWinsider provided an small update on her status recently noting that Lana also known as CJ Perry is currently in Las Vegas ahead of WrestleMania 41 and word is that she has signed a new legends deal with the company.

There is no word on how Rusev would be introduced back on WWE TV or if Lana will be accompanying him on his comeback to the Endeavor owned promotion.

Randy Orton has announced that he\’ll be hosting an open challenge at WrestleMania 41. This comes after Kevin Owens had to pull out of their schedule match due to his neck injury.

While not confirmed, a WrestleMania return leading to a match and subsequent rivalry with the Viper seems to be the perfect way to reintroduce the former US Champion on WWE programming.

Whether it actually happens will only be revealed at the Show of Shows, but the possibility certainly makes things much more interesting.

  • Update On Potential Donald Trump WrestleMania Appearance

WrestleMania 41 from Las Vegas is expected to feature a number of big non-wrestling names, but it appears that Donald Trump will not be one of them.

The businessman turned politician has a long history with the company. With The Show of Shows being held in the Sin City this year, the rumors of Trump making an appearance at the PLE have been rampant.

A new report from Fightful Select, however, casts doubt over it. They noted that the creative team has not been made aware of an appearance from the current US President. The additional security measures that would be required for the same have not been seen around the arena either:

\”Regarding the possibility of Donald Trump appearing at WrestleMania after the heavy WWE endorsements this week, creative has not been told that it is happening, and we\’ve not been told of anyone who has been informed to prepare for it. There are also additional security and planning measures that would need to be in place.\”

The US President has taken part in WWE storylines over the years, and he was inducted into the celebrity wing of the Hall of Fame in 2013. He also made an appearance at UFC 314 earlier this month, which merged with the wrestling promotion under the TKO banner last year.

With Trump being known for his unpredictability, an appearance cannot be completely ruled out. Though it seems highly unlikely at this stage.

  • Watch: What Happened With John Cena After WrestleMania SmackDown Went Off Air

John Cena trolled the fans after this week\’s WrestleMania go home SmackDown from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, went off the air.

The show featured the final build for a number of feuds heading into the biggest PPV of the year. The returning Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal opened the night with Carmelo Hayes picking up the victory by last eliminating Andrade.

Randy Orton confirmed that he\’ll be holding an open challenge at the upcoming PPV while Seth Rollins cut a promo on his opponents, name-dropping Dean Ambrose during the segment.

We also saw WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio in action in a six-man tag team match. Unfortunately the high-flying star seemingly suffered an injury during the bout, putting his WrestleMania match in jeopardy.

    What Happened After SmackDown

The main event segment was the final showdown between WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and his WrestleMania challenger John Cena.

After a heated exchange, Cena delivered a cheap shot to Cody and picked him up for an Attitude Adjustment. The WWE Champion however, countered. He delivered a Cross-Rhodes to Cena and it was Cody who stood tall to end the night.

The Cenation Leader stayed in the ring after the show went off air. He picked up the mic like he was going to cut a promo. Cena ultimately trolled the fans by not saying anything and walked out as Travis Scott\’s FE!N played in the arena.

  • Top WWE Star Seemingly Injured On SmackDown Before WrestleMania

A top WWE star has apparently suffered an injury on this week\’s WrestleMania go-home episode of SmackDown from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Tonight\’s episode of the Blue Branded show featured a six-man tag team match between Brutus Creed, Chad Gable, & Julius Creed of American Made and Dragon Lee, Rey Mysterio, & Rey Fenix. The trio of LWO and Fenix won the match.

Unfortunately, Mysterio seems to have suffered an injury during the bout. He stopped participating in the action midway through the match leaving Fenix and Lee to finish things off.

Some fan videos that have surfaced since then show the WWE Hall of Famer consulting with a ringside crew member as well as Dragon Lee. Another video shows the former World Champion being helped to the back after the bout, raising concerns about his health.

Looks like Rey consulting with Fenix letting him know what happened, maybe telling him what to do next. Mysterio is definitely hurt somehow. #WWE #SmackDown #WrestleMania pic.twitter.com/dv5DHlkBlc

  • Chelsea Green Reveals Backstage Conversation With Penta After WWE Debut

Chelsea Green has revealed her funny backstage exchange with Penta.

The current Women\’s US Champion recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet. She talked about things such as her reaction to learning about her US title win, potential WWE return for husband Matt Cardona, and more.

During the interview, Chelsea also talked about Penta\’s WWE signing. Green had a highly praised match with the masked star during the 4th season of Lucha Underground in 2018. Discussing the bout, the female star noted how it has become sort of a cult classic since then and revealed that the Mexican star joked about a rematch when they met backstage in WWE:

“I did not realize that that would [gain traction]. I mean, it got some traction when it first aired but not the way it has now. Oh my goodness, it’s crazy to see how much steam it has picked up in the past couple of years.

And then obviously, when he signed with WWE, we ran into each other in the hall in Toronto, and he was like, ‘You and me, rematch?’ I’m like, I don’t think so, pal. I think we’re good.\”

Chelsea Green also talked about how everyone at Lucha Underground treated her very well. Despite being brought in very late in the season, she was made to feel welcome in the company, and people like John Morrison praised her work.

The Women\’s US Champion has surprisingly been left out of the WrestleMania 41 match card. We\’ll have to see if her status changes on tonight\’s Mania go home episode of SmackDown.

  • John Cena\’s Elimination Chamber Ring Gear On Sale For Insane Price

WWE is not missing any chance to make money with John Cena\’s heel turn.

The Cenation Leader made a world record for the longest run as a baby face before turning heel at Elimination Chamber. The moment when he turned on Cody Rhodes went viral beyond imagination and broke the mainstream barrier more than any other wrestling moment in modern history.

The company is looking to capitalize on this as much as they can when the memory of the historic moment is still fresh in everyone\’s mind by putting a major price on it.

Photos and videos have surfaced online showing the gear John Cena wore at Elimination Chamber being available for sale at WWE Superstore in Las Vegas. Though it\’s out of reach for most fans, as they have set the price for the artifact at a whopping $74,999:

There is a healthy market for WWE-related items. The company itself has sold some limited-edition commemorative belts for hundreds of dollars in recent years. Last year, it was revealed that Vanilla Ice acquired Eddie Guerrero\’s famous Low Rider for the price of $15,000.

The pricing for the Cena gear, however, beats all the memorabilia deals offered in the past by the company and resets the bar for expensive wrestling souvenirs.

John Cena will be challenging Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41. You can check out the full match card for the show here.

  • Update On John Cena Merch Sales After Heel Turn

John Cena\’s heel turn had an unexpected effect on his merch sales.

The Cenation Leader had been on one of the longest babyface runs in the history of wrestling before Elimination Chamber. Even the Guinness Book of World Records recognizes it as the longest run as a fan favorite before turning into a villain.

One of the biggest reasons fans thought WWE would never pull the trigger was Cena\’s unparalleled popularity that helped the company sell a lot of merchandise and move tickets.

During his recent appearance on The Bill Simmons podcast, however, WWE president Nick Khan revealed that John Cena has actually been one of their top merch sellers even after turning heel:

“So, here’s what I thought was interesting about that whole process, number one, John Cena’s merchandise, still off the charts. Top of show, at every event or almost every event. The collective decision to make that heel turn, Triple H, Cena, Dwayne Johnson, Cody, everybody, immediately on board with the whole thing.\”

One of the reasons for John Cena\’s continued dominance in the merchandise department is all the gear the company has launched centered around the wrestling veteran\’s retirement tour.

The 16-time world champion will be looking to make history by breaking the record for the most world title wins in WWE when he challenges Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41 this Sunday.

Though many fans believe that the build for this match has not achieved the heights it could have. You can check out what Triple H said about the \’slightly weird\’ build for this WrestleMania 41 main event here.

  • Triple H Addresses \’Slightly Weird\’ Build To WrestleMania 41

Triple H has addressed the complaints about the build to this year\’s WrestleMania.

Things have been different on the Road to WrestleMania this year. WWE had the big story of Bloodline\’s dominance and Cody Rhodes chasing the title his dad never won the last two years, which made the Show of Shows feel extra special. The lack of an overarching story coupled with Mania being in the third week of April instead of first week as usual has made fans feel like something is off with the PLE.

The WWE Chief Content Officer talked about this notion during his interview with Peter Rosenberg. Triple H put the blame on having two extra weeks between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania:

“This WrestleMania build is slightly weird because there’s an additional two weeks from Rumble to Mania that normally isn’t there. And you had all these other shows – January 6, Netflix premiere. All the weeks of Netflix that were after that. Saturday Night’s Main Event. You add in all these other things. So you sort of had to systematically roll things out in little bits and pieces.”

We\’ll See If It Works: Triple H

Fans believe both the main event stories, including the triple threat of Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins, as well as the WWE title feud between Cody Rhodes and John Cena, have failed to reach their full potential before the PPV. Having some of the weekly shows air in unusual time slots due to the European tour also seems to have affected the rhythm of things.

Triple H mentioned how generally stories get more intense every week in the build to WrestleMania. This time around, however, they have had to break things up because of having more shows to fill:

“So it’s a different build. Usually you’re just, ‘Here we go with that, boom’, put your foot on the gas and here we are, and usually two weeks out from WrestleMania you’re like, ‘Well fuck, I feel like we’re already there’ and now you’re trying to figure out how to do shit that’s not redundant. Add two more weeks to that now.

So we had to be judicious with how we do things. So with some of this there are places where you can be like, ‘Huh, seems like this took off and then it levelled out, and then it’s gonna take off again.’ So strategic storytelling that in the moment of time, you don’t really see or get. We’ll see if it works.”

Another thing that has affected the card is the unfortunate injury of Kevin Owens. Though Randy Orton who was originally supposed to face Owens at the show is still teasing being part of the PPV. You can check out what he said here.
