  • Tommy Dreamer Recalls Crazy Incident That Inspired Sabu To Join Wrestling

Tommy Dreamer has revealed the crazy incident that inspired Sabu to join wrestling.

The current TNA star, alongside Bubba Ray Dudley, recently joined Chris Jericho on the Talk is Jericho podcast to pay tribute to the recently deceased wrestling legend.

During the session, the trio shared their memories of Sabu, including how the late star finished many matches despite injuries. Dreamer recalled the one time the former ECW Champion broke his jaw but still finished his bout. Tommy then revealed that it wasn\’t even the worst face injury he suffered during his life:

\”Bubba didn\’t know this, but I had known this. He had gotten shot in the mouth as a younger adult. That\’s what kind of got him into wrestling. The bullet went into through his jaw and out through his cheek. That\’s kind of how he got into wrestling because he knew he was hanging out with the wrong people.

But he had said just so casually, \’Yeah, my buddy got into a fight and I went to like fuck him up. The guy shot me, shot me in the face and [it] went through. That\’s why I\’m missing these teeth, and that\’s why I got this hole here.\’ I was like, \’You got shot in the mouth and lived?\’\”

Apart from this, the trio also detailed Sabu\’s WWE run. They recalled Paul Heyman fighting Vince McMahon over the decision to make him cut a promo against his character and how McMahon blamed it on others when the idea backfired.

  • Stephanie Vaquer\’s WWE Future Officially Confirmed After NXT Title Loss

Stephanie Vaquer has been assigned a new brand.

Rumors had been swirling about the female star\’s WWE future after she surprisingly dropped the NXT Women\’s Championship to Jacy Jayne at this past Tuesday\’s episode of the show.

It\’s been less than a year since Vaquer debuted on the brand, so many were sceptical about a potential call-up but WWE has confirmed just that.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced in a new video on X that the former NXT Champion has agreed to join the Red Branded Show. He also confirmed that Stephanie Vaquer will be competing in the last Women\’s Money In The Bank qualifying match against Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile this Monday:

This isn\’t the only MITB qualifying match announced for the episode. WWE has confirmed that CM Punk will be competing for the last spot on the Men\’s side, going up against AJ Styles and El Grande Americano on the same night.

Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Rhea Ripley, and Giulia have already qualified for the Money In The Bank match on the women\’s side. On the men\’s side, the list currently includes Andrade, Solo Sikoa, L.A. Knight, Penta, and Seth Rollins.

Vaquer has also been announced for a match at the Worlds Collide event on the same day as the Money In The Bank PPV. She\’ll be teaming up with Lola Vice to face AAA stars Chik Tormenta and Dalys on the June 7 show.

  • CM Punk Set To Compete At Monday\’s Raw

CM Punk will be competing on Raw.

The May 30 episode of SmackDown featured two more Money In The Bank qualifying bouts in which Naomi and Andrade qualified for their respective ladder matches at the upcoming PPV.

After this, WWE announced the final MITB qualifying match on the men\’s side for this Monday\’s episode of Raw, featuring the Straight Edge Star. The former World Champion will be going up against AJ Styles and El Grande Americano for an opportunity to win the briefcase.

This won\’t be the only thing CM Punk will be doing at the show, as he will also be addressing Seth Rollins and his new faction in the opening segment of the 6/2 Raw.

The last qualifying match on the Women\’s side has also been announced. This comes after the company confirmed earlier today that Stephanie Vaquer has joined the Raw brand after dropping the NXT Women\’s title this Tuesday.

Vaquer has since been announced for a similar triple threat, also featuring Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile on the Red Branded Show.

Apart from Andrade, Solo Sikoa, L.A. Knight, Penta, and Seth Rollins have qualified for the MITB match on the men\’s side. On the women\’s side, Naomi is joined by Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Rhea Ripley, and Giulia in the list of stars confirmed for the PPV on June 7.

  • NXT Star Teams With Rey Fenix In Surprise SmackDown Debut

Tonight\’s episode of SmackDown featured appearances from multiple NXT stars, including a recently crowned champion.

The show emanating from Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee, featured a tag team match which saw Rey Fenix teaming up with the development brand\’s Je’Von Evans to face the duo of Los Garza (Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo).

The NXT North American Champion, Ethan Page, was on commentary for this bout and he got involved in the action after a confrontation with Fenix outside the ring.

All Ego shoved Rey into his partner, and Page then ended up sending the masked star into the announce desk. Je’Von in return, laid out the North American Champion with a superkick before getting back in the ring. Evans was taken out by his opponents as soon as he got in and he ended up kicking out of a close pin.

The high-flying NXT star then delivered a Handspring kick and went to the top rope to finish the match. Ethan Page however, shoved him down as Santos Escobar was distracting the referee. Los Garza then delivered the MTY on the young star to get the win for their team.

Ethan Page won the North American title defeating Ricky Saints during the May 27 episode of NXT. He is set to defend the title against Je\’Von Evans, Laredo Kid, and Rey Fenix in a fatal four-way at the upcoming Worlds Collide event on June 7.

  • AEW Star Confirms Company Is Not Renewing Their Contract

An AEW star have announced their upcoming departure from the company.

Abadon, who signed a full-time contract with the promotion back in 2020, took to X to announce the news. They confirmed that the officials have made the decision not to renew their contract which is set to expire in June:

\”My time with AEW is coming to an end. My contract expires in June and I will not be renewed. The emotions I\’m currently trying to manage are incredibly difficult and full of conflict as I reflect on my time there.\”

In the statement, Abadon noted that their goal is to continue their career and not let the upcoming release be the end of their wrestling journey.

The American star made their debut in the business in January 2019. Trained at the Rocky Mountain Pro Academy, they wrestled their first AEW match in March 2020. After impressing the officials with their performance in early matches, Abadon was signed to a full-time deal in June that year.

Similar to many of the early AEW talents, Abadon were featured less and less with the influx of talents from WWE after early outings. Their last match under the AEW banner came at the 2023 Worlds End PPV. So their departure is not a huge surprise.

  • Omos Reveals Challenges of Everyday Life at His Size

Being the size of Omos is not easy.

The WWE star recently had an interview with Chris Van Vliet. He talked about things such as the condition that led to his abnormal growth, when he first realized that he was growing differently than other children, his recent trip to Japan and more.

During the interview, the 7ft 3-inch star talked about the challenges he has to face in his day-to-day life. The wrestling star who stands only an inch shorter than the legendary Andre The Giant, explained that he has to put extra effort in buying everyday things and making sure he doesn\’t break them:

“Shopping for clothes is difficult. Pretty much having to buy really expensive furniture so I don’t break it. So I’ve broken couches. I remember seeing my one of my best friends, Dennis. It is in Arizona, and before I got signed to WWE, I was living with him.

I broke his bed because he gave me beds, and I slept on the bed for like four months, and I just broke it because it couldn’t hold me. So I have to make a constant effort to make sure that I invest in actually well-made furniture to sustain my size, because I will break it.”

Omos was also asked when he expects to be back in the ring, and the 33-year-old said that he does not know. The wrestling Giant explained that he might be used as a special attraction and he\’s ready to be part of the WWE programming whenever the time comes.

The Nigerian star\’s last wrestling appearances came during his NOAH run earlier this year in January. He has not been seen on TV since WWE called him back from Japan abruptly a few days before Royal Rumble.

  • MVP Reveals Why He Has \’Zero Respect\’ For Triple H

MVP continues his feud with Triple H.

The former WWE star has been vocal about the new creative head of WWE since leaving the company in August 2024. The former US Champion has criticized Triple H for the treatment of Hurt Syndicate members after he took over creative. He has also implied that The Game books black talents differently, though the wrestling veteran has denied calling the WWE Executive a racist.

The now AEW star was asked about his beef with Triple H again during a recent interview with Bet Ideas. MVP was specifically asked to expand on his remarks about how the WWE Hall of Famer views the talent of color in a certain way. Replying to it, the 51-year-old said that you just have to look at the current state of WWE programming to understand what he means:

\”Let’s just say this, Bobby Lashley was a two-time WWE Champion, and after he took over, Bobby Lashley was reduced to the mid-card. Bobby Lashley is a bankable, marketable guy. And two-time WWE Champion just got reduced to mid-card, whatever.

What I said, specifically in response to the person on my Instagram page, was that you see it. It’s my opinion of how he chooses to book certain talents. Some people say all the time that, ‘oh MVP’s just griping, MVP’s just crying’. Okay, well just watch the program. Who were the people in the top spots under his leadership? Who were given the opportunities?\”

Nothing To Do With Race: MVP

MVP explained that his opinions are based on his own personal experiences with Triple H. He promised that someday he\’ll go into depth about his issues with the WWE CCO:

\”I’ll be honest with you, my issues with him have nothing to do with race. My issues have to do with him as a person and our personal interactions and things that he said and did that caused me to have zero respect for him.\”

The Hurt Syndicate star also talked about his picks for the Mt. Rushmore of wrestling. He named people such as Macho Man who deserve to be in the list. MVP also mentioned how some people will pick Hulk Hogan but according to him, The Hulkster is disqualified from the conversation because of \’who he is.\’

  • Stephanie Vaquer Breaks Silence On Surprising NXT Title Loss

Stephanie Vaquer says she\’ll continue making history.

The Chilean pro wrestler surprisingly dropped the NXT Women\’s title to Fatal Influence\’s Jacy Jayne on this past Tuesday\’s episode of NXT.

Vaquer who had not said anything about the loss till now made her first social media post since then on Thursday, writing that she\’ll continue making history with support from her people:

Stephanie Vaquer had successfully defended the NXT Women\’s Title against Jordynne Grace at the Battleground PPV this past Sunday. Her losing the title only days later on a regular NXT episode made many wonder if the female star was injured or taking time off.

The company, however, has since announced the former champion for a tag team match at the upcoming Worlds Collide event against a couple of AAA stars.

It\’s unknown what the company is planning for Vaquer as she has been part of the NXT brand for less than a year. Though it\’s likely that officials will fast-track her main roster call-up up due to her popularity, similar to the recent call up of Giulia.

Despite the possibility however, it\’s still a mystery why the officials chose the NXT episode for the title change instead of the PPV. We\’ll have to see if Stephanie gets a rematch for the belt before moving to Raw or SmackDown.

  • Star Behind Mystery Spider Graphic Debuts On Dynamite

A new star has debuted on Dynamite.

AEW had been teasing the arrival of a popular star the last few weeks with graphic of a spider crawling around the screen during various matches and segments.

This week\’s episode of Dynamite then featured a segment where Renee Paquette tried to interview Jamie Hayter after her loss to Mercedes Mone at the Double or Nothing PPV this past Sunday.

Before Hayter could say anything, however, the lights went out. The camera showed the same red spider on the big screen as the lights came back on, before moving over to the ring where Thekla was standing over the former Women\’s Champion.

The debuting star picked Jamie Hayter up only to beat her down again and then did her signature pose to put the whole roster on notice.

Having the nickname \’The Toxic Spider,\’ Thekla made her wrestling debut in 2017. The Austrian professional wrestler spent her early years wrestling in Vienna\’s underground wrestling scene.

Her following started growing when she went over to Japan and made her Stardom debut in 2021. She had been a regular for the company since then, winning multiple titles during her time with the promotion.

She was fired after attacking Stardom President Taro Okada in a storyline last month, ending her 4-year run with the Japanese organization.

  • Stephanie Vaquer Match And More Announced For Worlds Collide

A Stephanie Vaquer match has been announced for the NXTxAAA Worlds Collide event set for next month.

WWE presented the NXT exclusive Battleground PPV this past weekend, which featured the NXT Women\’s Champion successfully defending her title against Jordynne Grace. In a backstage segment after this bout, Vaquer was confronted by AAA stars Chik Tormenta and Dalys la Caribeña.

The confrontation turned physical when Jacy Jayne of Fatal Influence showed up and slapped Vaquer. A championship match was then made official between Vaquer and Jayne on this week\’s NXT. To everyone\’s surprise, Jacy was able to defeat Stephanie and become the new champion with some help from her Fatal Influence partners Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx.

After this title change, Shawn Michaels took to X and announced that Stephanie Vaquer will be teaming up with Lola Vice to face the duo of Chik Tormenta and Dalys at the upcoming show. It was also announced that Ethan Page will be part of the show defending his newly won NA Championship.

Updated Worlds Collide 2025 Match Card

The 2025 Worlds Collide event is set to take place at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on June 7. The show will feature stars from WWE, AAA, and TNA. Below is the current card for the show:

    • Six Men Tag Team Match: Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel, and Berto) vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown
    • AAA Mega Championship Match: Chad Gable vs. El Hijo del Vikingo
    • NXT North American Championship Match: Ethan Page (c) vs. Je\’Von Evans vs. Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fénix
    • Tag Team Match: Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice vs. Chik Tormenta and Dalys

We\’ll have to see where Vaquer ends up after this event. It wouldn\’t be a surprise if she follows the footsteps of Giulia and is called up to the main roster after this due to her increased popularity in recent times.

  • Stephanie Vaquer Drops NXT Women\’s Title In Surprise Loss Before Worlds Collide

Stephanie Vaquer is no longer a champion.

The NXT Women\’s Champion successfully defended her title against Jordynne Grace at Sunday\’s Battleground PPV. She was confronted by AAA stars Chik Tormenta and Dalys la Caribeña in a backstage segment after the show.

Jacy Jayne of Fatal Influence then also came out. A championship match between Jayne and Vaquer was made official for NXT this week after the former slapped the then-champion during their confrontation.

The other two members of Fatal Influence in Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx, were in Jayne\’s corner for this bout at the May 27 show. The company teased a potential breakup for the faction when Nyx got pushed to the ground in the middle of an argument between Jayne and Henley.

Stephanie Vaquer Loses NXT Women\’s Title

Though Nyx still came through for her partner, and in the end, she distracted the referee just at the right second to allow Fallon to nail Vaquer with a Feint Kick. Jayne was then able to deliver a Discus Forearm and pin the Women\’s champion to everyone\’s surprise.

Stephanie Vaquer has been announced to team with Lola Vice to face Chik Tormenta & Dalys at the upcoming AAAxNXT Worlds Collide event on June 7.

This surprise title change ends Vaquer\’s reign as the champion at just 78 days and we\’ll have to see what the company is planning for her after this loss.

  • Mercedes Mone Supports Big Change In AEW Policy

Mercedes Mone is supportive of a potentially big policy change in AEW.

Intergender wrestling is something that is popular in the independent circuit. Both the top wrestling promotions of US in AEW and WWE, however, shy away from it in the modern era.

The current TBS Champion was asked about the possibility of getting in the ring with some of her male colleagues during a recent interview with Variety. Mone seemed enthusiastic about the possibility, saying that she would love to get in the ring with people such as Swerve and Okada:

\”I definitely want to have an inter-gender match or a mixed tag match. I think people like [Speedball] Mike Bailey, Ricochet, Swerve [Strickland], Komander, The Beast Mortos, [Kazuchika] Okada, there’s just so many men that I would love to team up with and fight against. Dream matches are endless in AEW,\”

AEW President Tony Khan has generally been against putting male and female competitors in the same ring in the past. During a 2019 media scrum, Khan said that intergender wrestling is something we \’probably won\’t see in AEW.\’

Even so, the latest Double or Nothing PPV suggests at least some change in Khan\’s approach to the whole thing. Willow Nightingale and Marina Shafir became the first women to compete in an The Anarchy In The Arena match at the show and they were not shy about trading shots with the male competitors in the match.

  • Latest On Liv Morgan\’s WWE Return

A top WWE star is set to make her return very soon.

One half of the current Women\’s Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan, took a break from wrestling after landing a role in the latest Bad Lieutenant movie set in Tokyo.

The female star had been in Japan over the last month for the shooting of the movie and said to have received high praise for her work there.

Now, Fightful Select has provided an update on her return to TV. According to the site, Morgan is set to be factored into creative plans \’imminently.\’

This is consistent with the report of Liv being back in the United States after completing the shooting of the film, and the current champion could return to TV as soon as this Monday\’s episode of Raw.

    pic.twitter.com/tm9OEd7f9O

    — EliteRockerz Clips (@ERClipssss) May 20, 2025

The Judgement Day storyline has taken an interesting turn in Liv Morgan\’s absence. After being spotted with her a couple of times, Finn Balor recently introduced Roxanne Perez to members of his faction.

While the former NXT Women\’s Champion has not been accepted as a member of the group just yet, one can imagine that Morgan will not be happy with Perez meeting her friends in her absence.

It\’d be interesting to see how this dynamic plays out once Morgan is back on TV and if she accepts the help offered by Perez.

  • Tony Khan Reveals Failed Pitch To Scorpio Sky After AEW Star Vents Frustration On Absence

Tony Khan has revealed that he made a pitch to Scorpio Sky for his AEW return but the two parties could not agree to the details.

The AEW president was asked about the former TNT Champion\’s puzzling absence from AEW TV during the post Double or Nothing media scrum. Khan first claimed that he respects the former SCU member very much as someone who has been part of his promotion from day one:

“Yeah, I like Scorpio Sky. It’s interesting, Scorpio Sky’s name came up recently. He mentioned he was looking to come back. And I had had talks with Scorpio Sky about different ideas and things we can do.

It’s probably, in greater detail, Scorpio Sky is somebody who’s been here from day one and I have a lot of respect, who I really like. I saw that he said that.\”

When The Time Is Right: Tony Khan

Tony Khan also revealed that he had actually pitched an angle to the high-flying star but they ended up going in a different direction because they couldn\’t come to terms:

\”I actually had talked to Scorpio Sky about doing something. We ended up going with something in a different direction, it’s kind of a long story. But it would make a lot of sense in context. Maybe not now at this time.

I had an idea for Scorpio Sky that I think was a good idea. And we talked about it, and it didn’t work out for reasons kind of between us. But also, I think it’s totally a legit thing and I’m fine with it. I would like to use him for a different idea when the time’s right.”

Scorpio Sky himself had not mentioned any pitch made to him when he talked about his AEW status earlier this week. Though he did reveal that his previous comments did not sit well with someone in the organization and it could be the reason for his absence. You can check out what he said here.

  • Toni Storm Provides Update On Mina Shirakawa Relationship After Double or Nothing Kiss

Toni Storm has revealed where her relationship with Mina Shirakawa stands after tonight\’s Double or Nothing PPV event.

The AEW Women\’s World Champion successfully defended her title against the Japanese star at the PPV. The competitors seemingly put their rivalry behind after the match, sharing a kiss to end the segment.

The Timeless One was asked where the relationship with Mina stands after this turn of events during the post Double or Nothing press conference. The current champion explained that their relationship is nothing serious and they\’re just looking for a lovely time:

\”Oh, it\’s just a… it’s more of a casual thing. Just a bit of fun. Not a… nothing serious. We\’re just having fun. We\’re casual lovers. Oh, we have a lovely time.\”

Apart from this, Toni Storm also proclaimed that her bottom, that\’s bigger than the state of Texas, is the reason for her success in pro wrestling.

Storm will now have to face the challenge of TBS Champion Mercedes Mone after the latter won the finals of the Women\’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament in the opening match of tonight\’s show.

Shirakawa on the other hand is likely to move away from the title picture and it\’d be interesting to see what direction her story will go from here.

  • Mini Tournament Announced For AEW Fyter Fest Title Shot

AEW has announced yet another tournament.

Tonight\’s Double or Nothing 2025 PPV saw the conclusion of both the Men\’s and Women\’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament. Mercedes Mone picked up the victory on the women\’s side while Hangman Page and Will Ospreay battled for the win on the men\’s side.

Before the Ospreay-Page bout that main evented the show, however, the company announced the return of Fyter Fest as a 4-hour TV special, emanating from Mission Ballroom in Denver, CO on June 4.

The announcers also confirmed the first match for this special event, revealing that Kenny Omega will be defending his AEW International Title in a fatal four-way match on the show.

The promotion then revealed brackets for a mini-tournament to decide the other three participants of the bout. The list of names set to compete for these spots includes international stars such as Máscara Dorada and Hechicero:

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/05/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/05/\"

Before this announcement, Kenny Omega competed in a chaotic Anarchy In The Arena match at the Double or Nothing PPV, teaming with Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale & The Opps to face Death Riders & The Young Bucks.

After many unimaginably brutal spots, Swerve Strickland introduced a new pair of sneakers covered in thumbtacks. Strickland hit Nick with the Sneaker for the pin while Omega put Matt through an exploding table outside to end the match.

  • Watch: Toni Storm Shares Kiss With Mina Shirakawa After Double or Nothing 2025 Title Match

Love was in the air at AEW Double or Nothing.

The company presented its latest PPV from Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, tonight. The show included some chaotic matches, including the return of Anarchy in the Arena.

The event also featured Mina Shirakawa competing in her first AEW PPV match after becoming a full-time member of the roster, once again challenging Toni Storm for the Women\’s World title.

Shirakawa worked on Storm\’s leg throughout the night and almost won the match after locking the current champion in a Figure Four towards the end of the bout.

Toni somehow managed to break the submission by reaching the ropes. The two stars then traded near falls before the champion managed to deliver the Storm Zero for the win.

The most interesting moment of the segment came after the bell however, as Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa put their differences aside and shared a kiss for old times\’ sake. Shirakawa also kissed Storm\’s bad knee before leaving.

This wasn\’t the only women\’s match of the night as the TBS Champion Mercedes Mone took on Jamie Hayter in the opening match of the PPV event.

The finals of the Women\’s Owen Hart tournament saw Mone defeating Hayter. With the win, the TBS champion has earned the right to challenge Storm for the Women\’s World title and potentially unify the two belts.

  • Huge TNA Title Change At WWE Battleground

A new TNA Champion has been crowned.

WWE presented the Battleground PPV this year from Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, tonight. The show featured a number of exciting matches including Stephanie Vaquer defeating Jordynne Grace to retain the NXT Women\’s Championship.

The main event of the show was Trick Williams challenging TNA World Champion Joe Hendry for the title. The bout was filled with some interesting spots including Williams doing a Spinarooni and Hendry attempting a Rock Bottom.

The TNA Champion almost won the bout towards the end when he delivered a Standing Ovation after a sequence of moves. Trick however managed to get his foot on the rope at the last second.

The action then went out of the ring, where Williams sent the Viral Star through the announce desk. Trick then grabbed the title belt, but Hendry caught him in a pin attempt before he could use it as a weapon. After a near-fall, Trick delivered a Trickshot right onto the title belt to become the new TNA Champion.

This is the first time a top act from one company has been booked to hold the title from the other company in the partnership between WWE and TNA.

It\’d be interesting to see how this whole thing plays out. Hendry has his TNA contract expiring later this year so we\’ll have to see if Williams drops the title back to him or a new contender emerges after tonight.

  • Cody Rhodes Confirms Big Money In The Bank Match After SNME Return

Cody Rhodes has confirmed his return match.

WWE presented the second Saturday Night\’s Main Event of 2025 from Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. The main event of the show saw Jey Uso defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul.

After getting a nearfall from a Samoan Drop, Jey delivered a splash from the top rope, and he looked all set to win the match. However John Cena who had a run in with Uso earlier in the night showed up and pulled the referee out of the ring before he could complete the count.

The 17-time world champion then started beating the former Bloodline star until Kingdom hit. As the crowd sang his theme, Cody Rhodes made his way to the ring for the first time since his WrestleMania 41 loss.

Cody Rhodes Confirms Return Match For Saturday Night\’s Main Event

The American Nightmare got the upper hand on Cena and he sent John out of the ring with a Cross Rhodes. Logan Paul tried to take Rhodes down with his Brass Knuckles but the YouTube star ended up eating a spear from Uso.

The World champ went on top again and delivered another splash. The referee finally woke up and counted the pin, allowing Jey to retain his title.

Cody Rhodes then grabbed the mic to address Cena. He told the Cenation Leader that he had ruined wrestling enough and announced that he\’ll be teaming with Jey to face Cena and Paul at the upcoming Money In The Bank PPV on June 7.

The duo of John Cena and Logan Paul left afterward but Rhodes and Uso remained in the ring. You can check out what they did after the show went off air here.

  • Women\’s Title Match Added To Saturday Night\’s Main Event

A women\’s title match has been announced for Saturday Night\’s Main Event.

This week\’s episode of SmackDown featured the Women\’s US Champion Zelina Vega competing in a triple threat match. The Money In The Bank qualifying bout also featured Charlotte Flair and Giulia. Unfortunately for Vega, it was the Japanese star who picked up the victory in the end.

The US Champion was seen walking in a backstage segment after the bout, where she ran into Chelsea Green and the Secret Hervice. Green told her partners to stand down.

    You heard, @RealNickAldis!

Chelsea called Zelina a loser, which made the current champion attack the WWE Diva. As the Secret Hervice joined the fight, Michin and B-FAB came out and the whole thing turned into a brawl before the referees broke it up.

Zelina Vega had defeated Chelsea Green to win the US title at the April 25 episode of SmackDown. After tonight\’s confrontation, a title rematch between the two has been announced for tomorrow\’s show.

  • Watch: The Wyatt Sicks Make Surprise SmackDown Return On Bray Wyatt\’s Birthday

    The Wyatt Sicks are back.

The group had been missing from WWE TV for months with a reported injury to its leader Uncle Howdy aka Bo Dallas. There had been all sorts of rumors on when the faction will make their return and how the group will look like upon their comeback.

This week\’s episode of SmackDown from EnMarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia featured a chaotic main event which saw Fraxiom challenging Street Profits for the Tag Team Championships.

All four men gave everything they had and there wasn\’t a dull moment throughout the bout. #DIY came out towards the end of the show but Motor City Machine Guns were quick to counter them, stopping the duo of Tomasso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano from interfering.

The Wyatt Sicks Pay Tribute To Bray Wyatt

After a chaotic few minutes, the match seemed to be reaching its conclusion as Angelo Dawkins hit the Spinebuster on Frazer. Dawkins then tagged Montez Ford who went to the top rope to finish the job.

The lights went out at this moment however and The Wyatt Sicks, with all its members, were standing in the ring when it came back on.

Dexter Lumis got Ford off the top with a Frankensteiner, and the group then started beating everyone in sight. Nikki Cross took out Candice LeRae and the show went off air with the group posing in the ring with a cake.

This return holds special significance as May 23 would have been Bray Wyatt\’s 38th birthday. We\’ll have to see where the group goes from here.

  • Mina Shirakawa\’s AEW Return Date Confirmed

AEW has confirmed the return date for Mina Shirakawa.

The company had announced that the Women\’s World Champion Toni Storm will be competing in a four-way title eliminator at Dynamite Beach Break on May 14 to determine her next challenger.

The returning Skye Blue was announced as one of the participants of the bout, the other two spots had initially been left open.

The two names filling the spots were confirmed this week as Tony Khan announced that Japanese stars AZM and Mina Shirakawa will also be in the match:

Shirakawa previously challenged Storm for the Women\’s title at the 2024 Forbidden Door PPV. She also had a rivalry with Toni\’s former protege, Mariah May later on.  The female star announced her intention to leave Japan and become a regular member of the AEW roster earlier this year. This will be her first appearance for the company since then.

AZM does not have the same amount of history with the American promotion. Though she did face Toni Storm during a Collision episode last year. The 22-year-old picked up a huge victory at NJPW Resurgence 2025 this month, defeating Mercedes Mone and Mina Shirakawa to become the new NJPW STRONG Women\’s Champion.

The 25-year-old Skye Blue will be looking to make an impact as this will be her return match after spending almost 10 months out of action due to a foot injury. Her last match came at a July 2024 episode of Collision.

  • Dominik Mysterio Discusses \’Surreal\’ WrestleMania 41 Victory

Dominik Mysterio did not expect the reaction he got at WrestleMania 41.

The young star has had 3 matches at the Show of Shows before this year but none of those experiences had been a good one for Dirty Dom. He had lost all three of his Mania matches for one. And the fact that all three bouts involved his father Rey Mysterio in some capacity made things even worse.

When asked about his experience at the Biggest Event of Them All this year during his Casual Conversations interview, Dominik said that it was a surreal experience. He didn\’t fail to point out that it was his first WrestleMania match that didn\’t involve his father:

\”For me, it felt super surreal, right? I was 0-3 at WrestleMania. All of my other matches at WrestleMania had something to do with my deadbeat, whether I was tagging with him, wrestling against him or tagging with someone else against him and someone else.

So everything it had to do with him. So the fact that I was walking into this WrestleMania alone as myself, Dirty Dom, the greatest Mysterio of all time.\”

    A Huge Blessing: Dominik Mysterio

The WrestleMania match saw Bron Breakker defending his Intercontinental Championship against Dom, Finn Balor, and Penta. The crowd erupted when the 28-year-old managed to win the bout and Mysterio took his time celebrating his win as the fans gave him one of the loudest cheers of the show.

Dominik Mysterio discussed how he did not expect people who booed him at his entrance to cheer the outcome of the bout. According to him, it again proves that he\’s better than his dad:

\”And then walking out, getting booed, to walking back after the match to just endless amounts of cheers and just them singing this Dirty Dom song. Dude, it was so, so surreal. I never expected it. Especially the kind of reaction I got.

But it was a huge blessing. The fact that I was able to walk out as your new Intercontinental champion. It only took me less than five years to become better than that deadbeat and here I am, the greatest Intercontinental champion of all time.\”

  • Dominik Mysterio Explains How CM Punk Got His WrestleMania Main Event

Dominik Mysterio says CM Punk got his WrestleMania main event because he cried like a baby about it.

The Straight Edge star got to main event the Show of Shows for the first time in his career at Night 1 of WrestleMania 41 from Las Vegas. He went up against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in a triple threat match centered around Paul Heyman\’s loyalty. Punk lost the bout after Heyman turned on him, but it was still a dream come true for the Chicago native.

The young wrestling veteran who constantly banters with CM Punk on social media was asked about his hate for the former World Champion during an interview on the Casual Conversations podcast. Dominik Mysterio explained that he hates Punk because he looks like Eddie Munster:

\”I think we just both mutually hate each other, equally. Cause I fucking hate CM Punk. I don\’t know what it is about that guy. I don\’t know if it\’s because he looks like Eddie Munster and I just want to kick him in the fucking face,

Or the fact that everyone is like, \’Oh he finally did it, he finally got his WrestleMania main event.\’ Like, good for you, old man. 60 years old, it took you what, 45 years to accomplish your one goal? Goddamn dude, it\’s about time.\”

At 70 Years Old: Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio also explained how CM Punk managed to earn a WrestleMania main event after all these years, before claiming himself as the true best in the world:

\”It\’s what they say about babies. When they have tantrums, you give them what they want so they shut the fuck up. I\’m pretty sure that\’s what happened with this whole…that\’s why he needed a favor from Paul Heyman.

There is a reason he was never in the main event. You call yourself the Best in the World. I don\’t need to go around calling myself the Best in the World. People know I\’m better than the best. I don\’t need to go out there calling myself Best in the World at 70 years old. I don\’t need to go out there and do that for myself. People do it for me. You have [John] Cena talking about me or JBL. You have these legends talking about me, AJ Styles. I don\’t need to do it for myself.

I don\’t need to say these things about me because people are saying it for me. My work speaks for itself. But here you go with CM Punk. I can go on this rant forever but I\’m not going to. I am gonna need to stop myself.\”

  • Joe Hendry Explains Why WrestleMania Loss Did Not Undermine TNA World Title

Joe Hendry has responded to criticism of his WrestleMania 41 match.

The TNA World Champion was revealed as a surprise opponent for Randy Orton after Kevin Owens had to pull out of their scheduled match due to his neck injury. While Hendry got a big pop and he was able to do his famous taunt during the bout, The Viper ended up defeating the current champion in almost 3 minutes.

A lot of people criticized this booking, saying that it undermined the TNA World title. Hendry responded to these claims in his new interview with Chris Van Vliet. The TNA star first explained that the match was not completely one-sided and he got some offense in. With RKO being a \’one hit kill\’ move per Hendry, the loss made sense for his character:

“The feedback that I got was exactly what it was supposed to be. And let’s be honest, the next how many days later, we had the biggest show TNA has ever had in 10 years, we had a higher attendance at Slammiversary. So we were past 4,000. I understand what this is, and my job is to put asses in seats for TNA wrestling.”

Everything Has To Be A Story: Joe Hendry

Joe Hendry explained elsewhere in the interview that previous champions have brought different things to the World title. He gave the example of Josh Alexander, whose reign was all about putting instant classic matches. The viral star explained that his goal is to do everything that\’s best for business and bring as many eyes as possible to the company.

The 37-year-old also discussed how there have been other stars who have suffered quick defeat at WrestleMania but it did not affect their careers. According to him, it\’s all about the kind of story you\’re able to tell with the title:

“I think that in wrestling, everything has to be a story. So, in the movie, does Rocky win every single match? I mean, the story is Joe Hendry lost to Randy Orton. How is the champion going to recover from this? You know who else lost quickly at WrestleMania? John Cena to The Undertaker. You know who else lost quickly at WrestleMania? Triple H.

People have lost quickly at WrestleMania and these are the stories that we’re telling. When John Cena lost to The Undertaker, it was what is the path from here? And that’s what I’ve really learned from watching John Cena is that just make everything a story. Everything is a story. So it’s just about, okay, where do I go from here as champion?\”

Apart from this, Joe Hendry talked about things such as the advice John Cena gave him during his Royal Rumble appearance, Triple H\’s gesture for him at WrestleMania and more. You can check out his full interview below:
