  • AJ Styles Match Set For Saturday Night\’s Main Event

AJ Styles will be in action tomorrow.

The Phenomenal One had been invited to SmackDown this week by General Manager Nick Aldis. Shinsuke Nakamura confronted him backstage during this visit.

The Japanese star talked about Styles putting his career on the line against Gunther at the Royal Rumble, and offered to help AJ prove himself before the potential retirement match.

AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura have a long history together. It features a number of classic matches, including their highly praised Wrestle Kingdom 10 encounter.

Saturday Night\’s Main Event January 2026 Match Card

The January 24, 2026 Saturday Night\’s Main Event will be taking place from Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada this weekend. Below is the updated card for the show:

    • Fatal Four Way #1 Contenders Match For WWE Championship: Randy Orton vs. Trick Williams vs. Damian Priest vs. Sami Zayn

  • Trick Williams Recalls Almost Injuring Fan In Recent SmackDown Appearance

Trick Williams narrowly avoided injuring fans at SmackDown.

The former NXT Champion was involved in a promo with Randy Orton on the January 9 show. After a heated exchange, the segment saw Williams jerking the mic out of The Viper\’s hand. Both talents looked at the trajectory of the object for an extended period, leading to speculations that it might have hit someone sitting in the stands.

The WWE rookie addressed the whole thing while appearing on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast. Trick Williams confirmed that he meant to slap the microphone out of Orton\’s hand, but immediately afterward he could feel the trajectory of it being towards the people sitting at ringside:

\”In NXT, we don’t have fans on that side, so I never had to think about that. You see what I’m saying? So I’m like, ‘Oh man, I should have thought about that. Maybe I should have smacked it down,’ ’cause, you know, I smacked it and it went up a little bit.\”

Like The Red Sea: Trick Williams

Trick Williams noted that, thankfully no one was hurt during the segment as the fans parted to let the object pass. He also claimed that he tried to apologise to the people in the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany, later on but they probably did not understand what he was saying:

\”I just see people parting like the Red Sea, you know what I mean? Just everybody cleared out of the way. But from what I heard, nobody got hit. But, that’s what I’m hoping is the case—nobody got hit, man. And, shout out, ’cause I tried to apologize in German, but they didn’t understand what I was saying.”

The newest SmackDown star is set to compete in a big match at Saturday Night Main Event on January 24. He will be going up against Orton, Damian Priest, and Sami Zayn for a shot at the WWE title at Royal Rumble.

  • Tommaso Ciampa Files New Trademarks For Post-WWE Career

Tommaso Ciampa is preparing for life after WWE.

The former NXT champion recently filed trademark for the terms \’Psycho Killer\’ and \’Psycho King\’ for use on various merchandise and \’entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests.\’

These nicknames originate from Ciampa\’s heel run in NXT, which began with him turning on his partner Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver: Chicago in 2017. Their tag team run and the subsequent rivalry is considered to be one of the highlights of the Black & Gold era of the development brand.

The 40-year-old announced his departure from WWE on January 21, confirming that he will be leaving the promotion once his current deal expires.

The wrestling veteran did not reveal the exact date he will become a free agent. Tommaso Ciampa did confirm that he will be available for appearances, suggesting that he is not planning to sign a new contract with a different promotion immediately after his WWE departure.

Ciampa\’s release will mark the end of his 11-year WWE run as well as his partnership with Gargano. You can check out what the fellow DIY member said about his partner\’s announcement here.

  • Bishop Dyer Reveals How AEW Debut Actually Happened

Bishop Dyer\’s AEW debut was not planned.

The former WWE star wrestled a surprise dark match before this week\’s episode of Dynamite. He teamed with Martin Stone & Better Together in an 8-man tag against Billy Gunn, Austin Gunn, Brady Booker, & Elijah Drago.

While speaking to Off The Ropes, Dyer explained how the whole thing came about. He revealed that he had travelled to the arena with Paul Wight, formerly known as The Big Show just to hang out with his friends.

Upon reaching the arena, Billy Gunn, who was already booked for the match, asked him to take part in the bout. The former Baron Corbin mentioned that the one rule for any wrestler is to always bring your gear with you, so he was able to say yes:

\”I got there and saw my man Billy Gunn, who’s like a dad to me. He’s always been my guy that I’ve leaned on through a lot of stuff in the wrestling world. They had the dark matches because he was working with his son, Austin (Gunn), and he’s like, ‘Hey man, do you wanna be in this dark match with us?’ And I was like, ‘Dude, if it gets OK’d, I’m sold. Let’s do it,’\”

That Was The Extent of Our Conversation: Bishop Dyer

Bishop Dyer then discussed a spot in the match that got a good fan reaction. The former US Champion revealed that he had a short exchange with Tony Khan later in the night, where the AEW President praised his performance:

“I know Tony told me afterwards, he was like, ‘The match was so fun. I enjoyed it,’ and obviously, he’s working his ass off back there. I’m not gonna bother him with anything other than, ‘Thank you for allowing me to do that with Billy and Austin’ so that was the extent of our conversation.”

The 41-year-old, who left WWE in November 2024 after the promotion decided not to renew his deal, also mentioned that he felt good wrestling in front of a sizeable crowd after some time.

  • Powerhouse Hobbs Has Signed His Next Contract

Powerhouse Hobbs has chosen his path.

The former TNT Champion had left AEW after his contract expired last Wednesday, with the belief that he was heading to WWE.

Though the former Don Callis Family member had held the trios title with The Opps until the last day of his AEW run. With reports of AEW making him a huge offer to stay with the promotion, there had been at least a possibility that he could choose to return to the company.

Now Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting, however, that Hobbs has made the next chapter of his career official by signing a deal with the Endeavor-owned promotion:

There is no word on when or where Hobbs will make his debut for WWE, but the company\’s recent trademark \’Royce Keys\’ is speculated to be the new ring name for the heavyweight star.

The next few months are shaping up to be an exciting ride for WWE fans with multiple big surprises. This includes the highly speculated return of Chris Jericho and another popular star who had been dealing with an injury. You can check out more about it here.

  • Trey Miguel Makes TNA Return After AEW Drama

Trey Miguel is back in TNA.

The latest episode of Thursday Night Impact on AMC featured the former Rascalz member being revealed as a surprise entrant in the Feast or Fired match.

Miguel ended up walking out with one of the four briefcases in the bout, alongside names such as Eric Young, Steve Maclin, and Eddie Edwards. Though the company did not confirm the contents of the briefcase immediately, saving the reveal for next week.

The former X-Division champion has been a topic of discussion recently, amid reports of his signing and abrupt firing from AEW. The Tony Khan promotion had teased the arrival of the Rascalz during the January 14 Dynamite. Trey Miguel was notably missing from the lineup when the group debuted during the January 17 Collision.

Reports since then have revealed that AEW had planned the former champion to appear on TV. WBD, however, put a stop to it because of his past homophobic comments, leading to his release from the company.

The 31-year-old had announced that he would be taking a break from wrestling after this drama, so it\’s possible that his TNA return is a one off and that he will be done with the promotion next week.

  • MJF Offers AEW Title Match To Unlikely Name

MJF has offered an AEW title shot to a former WWE champion.

The Salt of the Earth has been on a mission to prove himself as the champion since regaining the title at the Worlds End PPV last month. He has vowed to defend the belt both in AEW and outside of the company in his quest.

In his efforts, the 29-year-old made an interesting offer. During an unscheduled call to Busted Open Radio, MJF told host Nic Nemeth that he would love to face the former WWE star in a World title match whenever he finds his balls:

“I have the championship that everyone wants. Nemeth, whenever you find your balls, let me know. I’d love to wrestle you for the title as well. Good day, sir.”

Nemeth gave a non-committal answer in response to the Devil, saying that he always wondered if MJF could hang in the ring with him and that we will find out one day.

The AEW Champion has made multiple title defences since Worlds End, including one against the newest AEW signee, Alec Price, during an indie show last week.

With Nemeth being a prominent face of the current TNA roster, however, getting a championship match sanctioned between the two would be a little bit more complicated.

  • AJ Lee Championship Match \’Locked In\’ For WrestleMania

AJ Lee is set for a championship match at WrestleMania 42.

After reports of the company overhauling the creative for the Show of Shows recently, there had been questions on whether or not the officials will stick to the direction teased for the wrestling veteran before.

Now Fightful Select has confirmed that AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch is indeed in the works for WWE\’s return to Las Vegas, and at this point it\’s considered one of the more \’locked in\’ matches for the PLE.

The former Divas Champion has been engaged in a feud with The Man since her surprise return to the company in September last year. Her return match was a mixed tag where Lee teamed up with her husband CM Punk, to defeat the duo of Lynch and Seth Rollins.

AJ Lee then cost Becky the Women\’s IC title in her match against Maxxine Dupri during the November 17 Raw. This led to the two joining the opposite WarGames teams at the Survivor Series PPV, where AJ submitted the Irish star to secure the victory.

The Black Widow has not made an appearance on WWE TV after WarGames but with Becky having regained the IC title since then, it\’s not hard to imagine that a title match is in the works between the two.

  • Huge Name Pitched For WWE Return

Stone Cold Steve Austin is in talks for a WWE return.

The WrestleMania season is set to kick off officially with the Royal Rumble PPV from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, next Saturday, and it appears that WWE is looking to make big waves heading into the Show of Shows this year.

According to reports from Fightful Select, there has been an internal discussion about none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin making a WWE appearance in the near future.

The Texas Rattlesnake has curiously not made many appearances on WWE TV since Triple H took over the creative. He came close to a role in the WrestleMania 40 main event between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, but the Attitude Era star ultimately passed on the opportunity. He then made a brief WrestleMania 41 appearance, crashing his ATV and cutting a promo for the fans.

The report does not state what the pitched plan for Austin\’s return is, but it\’s not hard to imagine that the company would be interested in bringing him in for a Royal Rumble appearance to please the Kingdom.

Do you think Steve Austin would accept the offer for an appearance in Saudi Arabia? Let us know in the comments below.

  • R-Truth Responds To Triple H\’s Claims About His 2025 Firing

R-Truth has thrown the ball back into Triple H\’s court.

The new season of WWE Unreal covered the drama surrounding Truth\’s announced WWE departure and surprise return in early June last year. While talking about it in the show, the WWE creative head tried to claim that the whole thing was a result of a communication lapse.

The Game explained that when the company and talent are too far apart in negotiations, telling them that their contract will not be renewed can sometimes force the wrestler to reconsider their stance. He claimed, however, that Truth was never actually fired by the company:

\”He immediately went out on social and said he was fired, which he was never fired. Contrary to prior belief, he was never not under contract with us.”

What Do You Call That: R-Truth

The 54-year-old responded to these remarks from the King of Kings during his appearance on The Breakfast Club. R-Truth confirmed that he was told his deal would not be renewed while he was still technically under contract. Though he questioned whether that did not constitute a release as he had claimed:

\”I get a call from this side saying \’We’re not going to renew your contract,\’ or however it was. [I ask] \’So do I come to work?\’ It’s Sunday. Next Sunday, my contract [would end]. [They go] \’No, don’t come to work.\’ [I ask,] \’Oh okay. Am I done now?\’ [They go] \’Yes.\’ There was no flight, no calendar. What do you call that?”

Former WWE star Killer Kross has also detailed a similar experience while discussing his August 2025 WWE departure. Kross has explained that the company tried to corner him into a unfavortable contract by offering a renewal on the last day of his employment and refusing to negotiate the terms of the deal.

  • Paul London Recalls Trouble With Vince McMahon Over Infamous Segment

Paul London has recalled getting in trouble over a famous Vince McMahon segment.

The former WWE star spoke to Chris Van Vliet for a new interview recently. He talked about things such as his start in wrestling, facing Brock Lesnar in his main roster TV debut, and more.

During the interview, the former Cruiserweight Champion also recalled being part of the infamous Vince McMahon limousine explosion segment. Paul London revealed that the talent part of the segment were not told what it was actually about. The 45-year-old noted that the only instruction they were given was that McMahon would be acting \’very bizarre and very queer\’ and they were to play it off if the boss looked at any of them:

\”I’m like, What are y’all doing? So that was the only description. They filmed the limousine explosion the night before. Didn’t tell any of us that was what was happening. Didn’t tell us anything other than he was bizarre, odd and queer. So every take he looked in my face. I’m sitting here thinking, whatever is up this guy’s ass is making him so bizarre.\”

How Sensitive Millionaires Are: Paul London

The former champion noted that he already had some heat with the office at the time and revealed that he got in more trouble for smiling during the segment. He blamed the Great Khali\’s former manager, Ranjin Singh, for pointing his expression out to McMahon, and discussed how people like Vince are so sensitive despite their wealth:

“Yeah, it’s funny, it’s cute how sensitive millionaires are. If you think about it, the money, the power, the image, the persona, all of this becomes a big smokescreen. That becomes an illusion that you use as leverage to create some sort of fear, or try to keep everyone on their heels so they’re easier to move around. I don’t know, whatever you want to call it, but extremely sensitive, like very easy to hurt their feelings.”

Apart from this, London discussed his Royal Rumble elimination by Gene Snitsky, his match with John Cena on Velocity and more.

  • Rumor Killer On Chris Jericho Making WWE Return In Canada

Chris Jericho is unlikely to make a WWE return this week.

WWE is set for a mini tour of Canada starting this Friday, with the company bringing both of their weekly flagship shows as well as the next edition of Saturday Night\’s Main Event to the country. Amid rumors of Y2J\’s homecoming, many believed this would be the perfect opportunity to reintroduce the Canadian star on WWE TV.

An update from PWInsider, however, counters these speculations. They noted that Chris Jericho is actually advertised to perform in the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, this Friday night. Furthermore, the former AEW Champion is expected to be there for the remainder of the weekend to take part in the National Association of Music Merchants gathering, so an SNME appearance for him seems very unlikely.

The Wrestling Veteran has not been removed from the AEW roster page on the company\’s official website. Jericho not being moved to alumni despite the prolonged TV absence suggests that he remains under contract with the Tony Khan promotion, and is another indicator that he is unlikely to make a WWE return just yet.

Though Chris Jericho is not the only name expected back on WWE TV soon, and reports suggest a different star could make his return on Monday\’s Raw from Toronto. You can check out more about it here

  • \’The Big Man Himself\’ Helping The Vision With Their Troubles

Paul Heyman is teasing a big man for WWE TV.

The latest Logan Paul vlog featured the former US Champion complaining about the events of Raw to The Oracle backstage. To calm him down, Heyman mentioned the mysterious phone call General Manager Adam Pearce got after their match.

The former ECW owner first claimed that you have to take one step back sometimes to move forward. When Logan asked if this meant the call was from Triple H, Paul Heyman claimed that even The Game would not want to receive a phone call from this person:

\”You know, sometimes you take one step back to take two steps forward. Adam Pearce got a phone call from someone no one wants to hear from. [Even] Triple H could get a phone call from this person and wouldn\’t want it.\”

The last line from the WWE Manager elicited a smile from the Celebrity wrestler, with Logan saying, \’Oh, this gotta be the big man himself,\’ before the camera moved on.

The latest Raw episode featured The Vision in a match against Dragon Lee, Penta, & Rey Mysterio. Logan Paul tried to introduce the brass knuckles into the match, but Adam Pearce threw it away.

Unfortunately for the Vision, Rey Mysterio got hold of the weapon, and the Hall of Famer used it successfully leading to his team\’s victory. The sequence of events gave Heyman one more thing to complain about after Pearce suspended Bron Breakker from the show last week.

This tease comes amidst Logan Paul predicting a Vince McMahon return to the company and reports of WWE having overhauled the WrestleMania creative only days ago.

Do you think WWE is bold enough to introduce McMahon back into the fold despite his ongoing lawsuit? Let us know in the comments below.

  • AEW Cancels Upcoming Live Show

AEW has cancelled an upcoming live show.

The January 24 episode of Collision was originally scheduled to come live from the Esports Stadium in Arlington, TX. The company announced on Wednesday, however, that the show has been canceled due to \’impending weather conditions in the region.\’

The promotion confirmed that they will be airing a taped show on the night instead, with matches being recorded after the latest episode of Dynamite from Orlando, Florida. Fans who bought tickets can expect an email with refund details soon.

AEW had previously announced a CMLL World Heavyweight Championship match between Claudio Castagnoli and Roderick Strong, as well as a singles bout between Andrade and Magnus for the event.

It\’s unknown if the company is making any changes to the announced lineup due to the cancellation, but updates from the arena confirm that they have taped Hangman Page vs Katsuyori Shibata, and Kris Statlander vs Isla Dawn for Collision this week.

The tapings tonight also featured a surprise debut of a former WWE US Champion, though in a dark match before the show went on air. You can check out more about it here.

  • Former WWE Champion Makes Unannounced AEW Debut

Former WWE star Baron Corbin, now going by the name of Bishop Dyer made his AEW debut tonight.

The company presented the latest episode of Dynamite from Addition Arena in Orlando, Florida, this Wednesday. Some bouts were contested before the show went on air, including an 8-man tag team match.

The bout saw Dyer teaming up with Martin Stone & Better Together to square off against the team of Billy Gunn, Austin Gunn, Brady Booker, & Elijah Drago:

This wasn\’t all, as fans also saw Sting\’s son Steven Borden teaming with QT Marshall for a match against Nathan Cruz & Rosario Grillo before the show. It\’s unknown if either of these matches will air on TV.

The former WWE US Champion has been active in the independent circuit since leaving the company in November 2024 after his contract expired and the promotion decided not to offer him a new deal.

He has alluded to someone in the top brass being the reason behind his departure from the promotion but not revealed any names.

A dark match appearance likely means that AEW is testing the waters with Dyer, and it\’s unlikely that the promotion has offered him a long-term deal as of now.

  • Tommaso Ciampa Exiting WWE After 11 Years

Tommaso Ciampa has announced his WWE departure.

The former NXT champion confirmed on Instagram that he will be exiting the company after his 11-year run with the promotion, when his current contract comes to an end.

The wrestling veteran mentioned that he is an incredibly lucky person who has been able to live his dreams. He thanked the WWE team as well as the fans for this opportunity, giving a special shoutout to the Black & Gold era of NXT:

Ciampa did not reveal whether he had made the decision on his own or if the company decided not to renew his deal like other recent departures. He confirmed that he will be taking outside bookings, suggesting that he does not have an immediate plan to join AEW or any other prominent promotion.

The highlight of Tommaso Ciampa\’s WWE career was his NXT run with Johnny Gargano as DIY and the subsequent feud between the two.  The duo had reunited on the main roster in 2022 and have had multiple runs with the tag titles, both in NXT and on the main roster.

Gargano is believed to be staying with the company since he was not mentioned in Ciampa\’s announcement, which would effectively mean the end of their tag team as well.

  • Long Injured Star Pitched For Raw Return

A much-anticipated return might be happening soon.

WWE star Chad Gable is believed to be on his way back to the company after spending 6 months on the sidelines due to an unfortunate shoulder injury.

PWInsider is now reporting that this return could happen as soon as this Monday, because pitches have been made for the former Olympian to return at the Raw episode from Toronto.

The WWE crew will be traveling to Saudi Arabia for the Royal Rumble PPV after Raw, and it\’d be harder for them to keep the return under wraps there. So it makes sense that Gable would be introduced back on TV before that if the company is planning for him to compete in the traditional battle royal.

Chad Gable had been wrestling under the guise of El Grande Americano before his injury. The role was taken over by Ludwig Kaiser when he was put on the shelf. Kaiser has since introduced Rayo & Bravo Americano as his partners, forming a new faction.

Would you rather see Chad Gable regain the mask upon his return or see the Americano persona remain with Kaiser? Let us know in the comments below.

  • MJF Saddened By Lack of Young Talent In \’The Big Promotion\’

MJF is saddened by the state of the WWE roster.

The Salt of the Earth became the AEW champion again when he took the belt off Samoa Joe at the Worlds End PPV last month. He also joined an exclusive list of talents who have won a prominent world title twice in the industry before turning 30, and the first to do so in Tony Khan\’s promotion.

The Long Island native used this recent success to take a shot at WWE during his interview with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed. He didn\’t name the company but said that there is a big promotion that loves to talk about young talent, but not feature them prominently:

“Here’s what saddens me. There is the big promotion that loves to talk about how much they want to cultivate their young talent, but everyone on the top of their card is not young.”

MJF also discussed his recent title defence against Alec Price at a Limitless Wrestling show. After retaining the world title, the 29-year-old offered AEW deals to both Prince, and his associate Jordan Oliver, who had accompanied the challenger to the ring.

Friedman claimed that cultivating the new generation of professional wrestling is a responsibility he doesn\’t take lightly. The former International Champion praised both Prince and Oliver, saying that they\’re extremely talented and they have what it takes to make it big in wrestling.

  • Kyle Fletcher On Criticism of His Dangerous Worlds End Spot

Kyle Fletcher understands the criticism of his spot with Jon Moxley.

The Don Callis Family member landed on his neck while taking a top rope dragon suplex from Mox during their Worlds Ends match. The spot attracted a lot of negative reactions. A day after the PPV, William Regal made a lengthy post explaining the need for talent to protect themselves. Regal did not mention anyone by name and received a lot of support from the wrestling world on the sentiment.

During a recent interview with Nine Sports, the former TNT Champion addressed the incident. Kyle Fletcher admitted that the spot did not go as planned and said that he understands everyone\’s concerns:

“Of course, I have to take it [criticism] on board. Obviously, it didn’t go to plan, I understand all the points that everyone is making – it was very dangerous.\”

Kyle Fletcher explained that judging the danger was difficult for him while the match was ongoing because he did not feel anything out of the ordinary in the moment. He knew that he had landed a bit higher on the neck than intended but he felt fine despite the awkward landing:

“The referee came over and usually they will check on you once and you’re like ‘yeah no worries, it’s all good’ but then he came over a second time and asked again, which makes me think that there was maybe someone in his ear saying ‘make sure he’s OK’.

The AEW star noted that he only realised the error while watching the spot back later on. He also claimed that he was battered and bruised coming out of the match with the Death Riders leader, but it was nothing more than what he\’s used to dealing with as a pro wrestler.

  • WWE\’s Reported Plans For Powerhouse Hobbs

Powerhouse Hobbs might debut directly on the WWE main roster.

The former TNT Champion is believed to be on his way to WWE, after his deal with AEW expired earlier this week. Latest reports suggest that the company officials are so confident about landing him that they have already started making plans for his arrival.

According to Fightful Select, the expectation is that the heavyweight star will be undergoing a name change upon his WWE debut, though it could simply mean shortening his current ring name to just Hobbs.

The 34-year-old had been made \’huge\’ offer by Tony Khan\’s promotion to stay with the company, but he had made up his mind about leaving.

While it\’s unknown if WWE is matching the offer, the report suggests that there has been pitch for Powerhouse Hobbs to appear directly on the main roster, and he could join the SmackDown brand.

There is no word on when or how the company is planning to introduce Hobbs to WWE TV but with his contract expiration, he is free to make his debut as soon as this Friday\’s episode of the Blue Branded Show.

Hobbs is officially still the AEW Trios Champion with Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata. You can check out what AEW is doing about that here.

  • Popular Act Leaving TNA After AMC Debut

A TNA act is leaving the company.

The promotion featured multiple title matches on the AMC premiere episode of Impact. One of them saw The Elegance Brand defeating The IInspiration to become the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions.

In an update on their status following the show, Fightful Select revealed that the IInspiration is actually leaving the promotion after this bout.

According to the site, the duo of Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay had not been under contract during their title reign, after signing multiple short-term deals with the company. They were open to continuing their TNA run but ultimately decided to wrap things up after the AMC debut.

There is no word on what the now former champions are planning for their return, but they are likely to garner interest from both WWE and AEW.

The duo has history with the Endeavor-owned promotion as The IIconics, while Tony Khan is likely to add a decorated tag team to the roster in light of the newly introduced AEW Women\’s Tag Titles.

  • AJ Styles Teases Revival of Old Feud In TNA Return

AJ Styles\’ TNA return might not be one off.

The former TNA World Champion made his return to the Impact Zone as the company made their debut on AMC. He opened the night and led the fans into a TNA chant after a promo about the new era of the promotion.

This wasn\’t the end of Styles\’ night, however. Later in the episode, we saw the Phenomenal One coming face-to-face with the current TNA Champion and his former rival Frankie Kazarian in a backstage segment.

Instead of a warm welcome, however, the current WWE star received some stern words from the fellow veteran. Kazarian said that AJ should thank him for the house, and in response, Styles looked at the world title before uttering the thanks.

AJ Styles has a long history with both Frankie Kazarian and the TNA World Title, and the little interaction tonight got a big pop from the crowd.

With the 48-year-old having announced 2026 as his last active year in wrestling, the big question is if we can see him going after the belt one last time before he hangs up his boots.

  • Jackie Redmond Recalls Reaction To Sharing Screen With The Rock

Jackie Redmond has opened up about her unexpected encounter with The Rock.

The WrestleMania XL Kickoff show was the major pivoting point for the story leading up to the main event of the Show of Shows that year. Originally going in the direction of Roman Reigns vs. The Rock, the story pivoted back to a match between Reigns and Cody Rhodes, after The Great One slapped the American Nightmare during this event. The tail end of this show featured an interaction between The Rock and Triple H, which gave birth to the Final Boss character.

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Jackie Redmond opened up about being part of this segment. She mentioned that she had been with WWE only a for a year at that point and the Triple H interview was not planned. She was asked to speak to the Creative Head only minutes before the segment, and Redmond noted that she had no idea The Rock would stop by to hurl abuse at the Game:

\”I should know better at this point that basically 99% of the time when I’m interviewing someone, it will be interrupted, that’s pretty much a staple of what I do. But I had no idea that Dwayne The Rock mother f*cking Johnson was gonna come out, yell at Hunter and drop F bombs all on live television. People do not believe me to this day, that I did not know The Rock was gonna do that. I did not know, hand to God did not know that that was gonna happen. And so when it did, that was a very real reaction from me.\”

Jackie Redmond mentioned that the moment brought her back to her childhood. She felt like being back in the Attitude Era when the two WWE veterans used to be arch-rivals. The WWE broadcaster said that the whole thing was very surreal for her and one of those moments where she couldn\’t believe that it was actually happening.

  • Seth Rollins Opens Up About Emotional Toll of Pro Wrestling Injuries

Seth Rollins has revealed some unknown details about his health struggles.

The Architect and his wife, Becky Lynch recently sat down with Complex News for a new interview. They discussed things such as the process of selecting their ring gears, Becky winning the IC title, Vince McMahon banning the stomp and more.

When the topic of injuries came up, Seth Rollins mentioned that for him, the chronic issues that come with a long career are worse than the injuries that keep you out of action. He revealed that neck pain is one such issue he has to deal with, recalling a really bad stretch he went through last year:

\”During the summer last year I couldn’t go 30 seconds without fidgeting. I had to get in a different position; I had to jam my thumb into my neck. I mean, it was not fun and then had to try to go to work and wrestle and be normal and stuff like that.\”

Worst Feeling In The World: Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins mentioned how these are issues that can stop you from enjoying your everyday life. He gave the example of how he was unable to play with his daughter, calling it the worst feeling in the world:

\”The worst part was like when your daughter wants to play and you’re like, ‘Ah, daddy needs a minute.’ Seeing her disappointed is the worst feeling in the world.
