  • John Laurinaitis Wants To \’Groom Young Talent\’ Again

John Laurinaitis wants to work with young talent again.

The former WWE executive had initially been accused of sex trafficking alongside Vince McMahon in Janel Grant\’s lawsuit against the former WWE Chairman. He was, however, dropped as a defendant in the case last year. The 63-year-old is set to make his first wrestling appearance since then at the upcoming Big Time Wrestling show on March 14th.

The former Raw General Manager spoke to The Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling to discuss the upcoming event. He explained his reason for agreeing to the booking, saying that it is to pay tribute to the Road Warriors, who will be inducted into the Ohio Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame at the show:

“March Madness is going to be historic in the sense that it’s actually my first-ever public appearance for a company. And part of the reason I’m doing that is because it’s kind of ironic that the Road Warriors are going to be inducted into the Ohio Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame. There’s actually a tribute match to the Road Warriors, so it’s kind of nice that my first appearance is going to be something that honors my brother.”

    My One Love: John Laurinaitis

John Laurinaitis also hinted that the appearance could lead to a longer-term role with the promotion for him. The former WWE Talent Relations head claimed that they have ideas to bring more high-profile names to the company, and he is looking forward to helping the promotion grow in whatever role possible:

\”I don’t know if everybody realizes this, but I’ve been in the developmental system for WWE for 20 years. My one love is to help, develop, and groom young talent. And I think that’s the strategy for Big Time Wrestling right now—to find younger talent and develop them into the stars of tomorrow.”

  • AJ Lee Reacts To Becoming Champion Again After 11 Years

AJ Lee feels amazing at being champion again.

The new Women\’s Intercontinental Champion took part in the Elimination Chamber post-show after making Becky Lynch tap out for the title at the PPV event. She was asked how it felt to become a champion in wrestling again after 11 years, and Lee mentioned that her first title in the company was also in Chicago:

\”Amazing. It feels right to have done this in Chicago. I don\’t know if you guys remember, but my first title, the Divas title, was won here in Chicago. I felt like it took forever to get her to actually tap. It was the longest moment of my life, just waiting to see if she would give up, and she did. It\’s surreal to, 11 years later, be a champion again.”

The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me: AJ Lee

Both AJ Lee and CM Punk paid tribute to their dog Larry through their gear at the show. Punk wore a Larry Forever jacket while Lee had a graphic of the same effect on her shorts. When asked about it, the new champion said that she will never forget Larry and will never love anyone again in the same way:

\”Oh my gosh, Larry is the best thing that ever happened to me. He is the love of our lives. I appreciate you guys bringing signs out for him all the time. I will never forget him; I will never love again the same way. But thank you guys so much for loving him.\”

The show tonight also featured a lot of surprises, including the return of Seth Rollins. You can check out what WWE might be planning for the former World Champion after tonight here.

  • Randy Orton Comments On Dropping Cody Rhodes For Elimination Chamber Victory

Randy Orton didn\’t hate RKOing Cody Rhodes.

The Viper won the chaotic Men\’s Elimination Chamber match at the PPV tonight, last eliminating Cody Rhodes for the victory. This came after Drew McIntyre interfered in the bout and Orton was able to take advantage of the distraction.

The 14-time world champion was interviewed right at the ringside after his victory. Commenting on the ending of the bout, Randy Orton suggested that taking his friend and former protege out was worth it for a WrestleMania match:

\”In an heartbeat, I made that decision to drop Cody with an RKO. Now he\’s a longtime friend. I hate doing it but do I really hate doing it? No, I don\’t. I\’m going to WrestleMania. I\’m main eventing WrestleMania. I deserve to be in the main event of WrestleMania.\”

The events of tonight were very similar to a few days ago when Drew inadvertently cost Sami Zayn his Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Cody, who took advantage of the situation then, had a heated exchange with Zayn later on, with Sami calling him the golden boy of WWE.

While Randy has found his ticket to WrestleMania, his opponent could still change as Nick Aldis has announced a big WWE title match for this Friday\’s episode of SmackDown. You can check out more about it here.

  • Triple H Comments On Danhausen\’s WWE Debut

Triple H says we\’re in for a fun time.

The WWE Chief Content Officer did not appear in front of the crowd at the Elimination Chamber post-show, but he did have a backstage interview. The Game first talked about things such as the announced championship match between Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes and more.

After covering the bigger headlines, Jackie Redmond asked the WWE executive if there was anything else he wanted to say. Triple H then brought up Danhausen\’s debut, saying that fans are going to have a blast with him:

“Me not commenting on the crate, and Danhausen — ah, Michael Cole got a nice bucket of teeth. I think we’re in for a fun time. Whatever it is, it’s gonna be a blast.”

The former AEW star made his WWE debut tonight, after becoming a free agent on Saturday morning. He popped up from the mystery crate that had been shown on WWE programming over the last few weeks.

The mystery crate travelled through both SmackDown and Raw before the reveal. So it\’s possible that the comedy star will remain a free agent, appearing on both brands instead of joining one show permanently.

  • Backstage News on Seth Rollins Plans After Elimination Chamber Return (Report)

Seth Rollins\’ WrestleMania opponent is not set in stone.

The Architect made his surprise return to the company at tonight\’s Elimination Chamber PPV, using a dummy mystery man to distract the security so he can attack Logan Paul.

BodySlam+ provided an update on the plans for the former World Champion after the show. They couldn\’t confirm if Rollins has been cleared for action, but said that he is expected to compete at WrestleMania, as tonight\’s setup indicated.

The report also suggested that his opponent for Mania is not set in stone, as WWE is hopeful that Bron Breakker will have recovered from his hernia surgery in time for the Show of Shows.

If the former NXT Champion is unable to get the medical clearance, the likely plan is for Logan Paul to face the former Shield Member in a match instead.

The person under the mask from SmackDown was revealed to be Don Furio, an indie wrestler who trained under Seth at his Black and Brave Wrestling Academy. While the dummy mystery man from the PPV is yet to be identified, there is a possibility of him being connected to Rollins as well.

It would be interesting to see if the company utilizes both these talents in the Visionary\’s upcoming feud against Paul Heyman and his group or if their appearance was one-off.

  • Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes WWE Title Match Announced After Elimination Chamber

Cody Rhodes is getting his title shot after all.

The Men\’s Elimination Chamber match that main evented tonight\’s PPV was full of chaos. Logan Paul first got three eliminations in the bout, pinning Je\’Von Evans, LA Knight, and Trick Williams.

The YouTube star himself was then eliminated by Cody Rhodes; however, thanks to a returning Seth Rollins, who stomped Paul before revealing his identity.

Drew McIntyre then showed up once again to stop Cody from winning the match. Despite eating an RKO and Cross Rhodes, the WWE Champion seemed to have gotten his wish as Randy won the match after pinning his former protege.

Though Nick Aldis had different plans, as he made an appearance on the Elimination Chamber post-show. Not being happy with Drew\’s actions, the SmackDown General Manager announced that Cody will get his title shot at the next episode of the show:

\”Drew, you seem to be so hell-bent on preventing Cody Rhodes to get another shot at you. Well, guess what? This Friday night, on SmackDown, it is Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship and that\’s all I have to say about it.\”

The Scottish Psychopath came out to confront Aldis after this but the match was made. McIntyre was then escorted out by the security.

  • Randy Orton Wins Men\’s Elimination Chamber

Randy Orton is going to WrestleMania.

Tonight\’s Elimination Chamber PPV featured a number of surprises, including Seth Rollins making his return to the company to take out Logan Paul in the cage match.

Paul had eliminated Trick Williams, Je\’Von Evans, and LA Knight before his own elimination. So Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton were the only two left in the match after Rollins\’ appearance.

Drew McIntyre then showed up once again to try and stop the American Nightmare from winning the bout. This time, Cody was able to get the upper hand with help from The Viper.

Orton delivered an RKO to McIntyre, followed by a Cross Rhodes from Cody. Just as Rhodes was recovering from the move, however, Randy delivered an RKO to his former protégé as well, pinning the AEW co-founder for the win.

The victory earns Randy Orton a match against Drew at WrestleMania 42, leaving the future of Cody in question. There have been some rumblings of the title match potentially being turned into a triple threat, and we will have to see if Rhodes is able to find his way back into the title picture somehow before the show of shows.

  • Seth Rollins Makes Surprise Return At Elimination Chamber

    Seth Rollins is back.

The Elimination Chamber PPV tonight saw Logan Paul dominating the match after a lot of initial punishment.  He got three back-to-back eliminations in the form of Je\’Von Evans, LA Knight, and Trick Williams.

A masked man showed up at ringside and started climbing the steel structure after this but he was quickly taken out by the security. Adam Pearce pulled his mask off and he was revealed to be another unknown name not associated with WWE.

    Seth Rollins Returns

This wasn\’t the last surprise of the night, as yet another man dressed in all black showed up after this, gaining entry into the Chamber.

The new man delivered a stomp to Logan Paul, allowing Cody Rhodes to pin the former US Champion. The guy then removed his mask to reveal himself as none other than Seth Rollins.

The Architect stared down at The American Nightmare for a second before retreating through the crowd as the match continued. It\’s unknown if Rollins has been cleared for action fully, or we will have to wait some more before he can compete in a match. You can check out the details of the unexpected ending to the Chamber here.

  • Watch: Danhausen Makes WWE Debut From Elimination Chamber Mystery Crate

    Danhausen has come to WWE.

The company had been running a mystery crate storyline for the past few weeks on both Raw and SmackDown, with the reveal set for the Elimination Chamber PPV.  The show tonight saw the two general managers, Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce, coming together on the stage to finally open the crate, and inside it was a wooden coffin.

A number of dancers dressed in black and red capes popped out of the coffin when it opened, followed by none other than Danhausen himself.  The former AEW Star walked to the ringside with all the dancers, but he first went around it and stopped at the announcer\’s table.

The newest WWE star handed Michael Cole a jar of teeth before finally entering the ring for a dance routine. The lights went out when the performance was complete, and Danhausen and his partners were all gone when it came back on.

The 35-year-old only became a free agent on Saturday morning after being kept off AEW TV for over a year. It\’s unknown what the company is planning for him but it\’s very much possible that he will be kept a free agent instead of being assigned a brand for the foreseeable future.

  • Paul Heyman Is Proud of CM Punk\’s WWE Return

Paul Heyman believes a CM Punk reunion will happen in future.

The two WWE names have crossed paths in the company since Punk\’s return to the promotion in 2023. They came close to a reunion leading to last year\’s triple threat WrestleMania main event, but the former ECW owner ultimately chose to align himself with Seth Rollins instead.

During a recent interview with PWInsider, Paul Heyman was asked about CM Punk\’s return and his newfound status as WWE\’s marquee player. Paul Heyman talked about Punk being on the cover of WWE 2K26 this year, and claimed that he is very proud of his former client:

\”I\’m very proud of the fact that CM Punk came back to WWE, because it\’s a true testament to the fact that all Paul Heyman guys rise to the top. Who was on the cover of the video game last year? Roman Reigns, also a Paul Heyman guy.\”

He Misses His Wiseman: Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman also floated the idea of reviving his partnership with CM Punk in future, saying that one day the Straight Edge Star will have to admit that he misses his wiseman:

\”I just think it\’s a testament to the fact that all Paul Heyman guys always come back home, like Brock Lesnar, they all come back home sooner than later. Punk is out there right now flexing his power as the WWE Champion, and at some point, he\’s gonna find out that he misses his wiseman and come back home.\”

CM Punk is scheduled to compete at tonight\’s Elimination Chamber PPV where he will be defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor.

  • Tiffany Stratton Comments On Boyfriend Getting Tattoo of Her Eyes

Tiffany Stratton has opened up about her new boyfriend.

The former Women\’s Champion spoke to Adrian Hernandez recently for a new interview. She discussed things such as AJ Styles retiring from active competition, her time away from WWE after losing the women\’s title & her Royal Rumble return.

During the interview, the female star also discussed her relationship with NXT star Shady Elnahas. Tiffany Stratton and Elnahas recently made their relationship public with a photo dump on Instagram. The SmackDown star claimed that it was the perfect way to announce her affections, even if she got some negative reactions to it:

“I’m somebody who, when I really love somebody, I want to show them off. So this was that kind of situation. Of course there’s always going to be backlash.

There are going to be hate comments. There are going to be good comments. I’m not scared of that. I get hate all the time. This is nothing new to me. And I think we’re such a cute couple together. I feel like we really fit. I think we could be relationship goals. A 20-photo dump felt like the perfect way to go.”

He Was All For It: Tiffany Stratton

One of the things that caught fans off guard with the announcement was the fact that Shady Elnahas got a tattoo of Stratton\’s eyes on his left arm. Tiffany revealed that it was actually her idea and the NXT star agreed to it:

“So I actually showed him the idea. He loves tattoos—obviously, he’s all tatted up—so he was all for it. He was like, ‘Heck yeah, I’m going to get your eye tatted on me.’ And let me tell you, if he’s not getting my eye tatted on him, I don’t want it. I don’t want it. That’s all I’ve got to say.”

Tiffany Stratton will be entering the Elimination Chamber match tonight with hopes of getting a title rematch against Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42. She will face Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Kiana James and Raquel Rodriguez in the bout.

  • Finn Balor Wants To Remove \’Stain\’ From WWE Career Before Retirement

Finn Balor wants to rewrite his story.

The Judgment Day star spoke to SHAK Wrestling recently to talk about his upcoming World Championship match against CM Punk at tonight\’s Elimination Chamber PPV. Among other things, he was asked about the recent retirement of AJ Styles.

Finn Balor who joined the main roster the same year as AJ discussed how Styles\’ retirement made him think about his own career in the company, specifically his short Universal Title reign:

\”It kind of got me thinking about my story in the business, what I need to do. There\’s a lot of talk about, you know, finishing the story in wrestling, but I feel like my story doesn\’t need to be finished, it needs to be completely rewritten. Because I have this massive stain on my career from 10 years ago when I got hurt and had to relinquish the Universal Championship.\”

I Need To Fix This: Finn Balor

The 44-year-old had a dream main roster debut, beating the likes of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins on his way to becoming the Inaugural Universal Champion within a month of his first Raw appearance. He ended up suffering an unfortunate injury in his match with Rollins however, which forced him to relinquish the title only a day after winning it.

The former NJPW star claimed that he has been trying to remove the stain of the short title reign ever since and he has found some success in form of various singles and tag team accomplishments in the company. Until he wins the World Title one more time however, Finn Balor will not feel comfortable in his retirement:

\”AJ retiring kind of brought it to the forefront of my thoughts that like, \’hey, the clock\’s ticking\’ and I need to fix this quick, or I\’m gonna be retiring with that stain, and I don\’t want to retire with that stain.\”

Balor\’s opponent CM Punk has also been doing media rounds to promote the upcoming show and he recently commented on the latest controversy involving Donald Trump. You can check out what he said here.

  • CM Punk Comments On Latest Presidential Controversy

CM Punk believes everyone is guilty of playing politics.

The Straight Edge Star recently spoke to Morning Mosh for an interview promoting Elimination Chamber this Saturday. He talked about things such as his upcoming match with Finn Balor, the origin of his WWE theme song and more.

During the talk, the WWE World Champion who is considered one of the best talkers in wrestling was asked what he would say to someone who is afraid to speak up their mind, especially in the current environment. CM Punk mentioned how everything you say today can be taken as a political statement:

“Oh God, I don’t know how to answer that. Especially in the climate we’re in now where everyone’s like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to be political.’ And I really feel like everything’s political. You make your choices—especially with your dollar—and it’s hard to escape everything. My deal is, I try to do no harm. But ultimately, if you try to censor yourself, if you try to kind of like bite your tongue, you wind up pissing somebody…you\’re always going to piss somebody off.\”

We\’re All Guilty of That: CM Punk

CM Punk then also referenced the latest controversy involving President Donald Trump and the US Ice Hockey teams. The Women\’s Olympic hockey team declined Trump\’s invitation to attend his State of the Union address after winning gold. This came after the President made a joke about them while inviting the men\’s team. The WWE star discussed how the men\’s team showing up at the White House was a political statement as well:

\”Right now, all the hockey players dealing with the gold medal stuff—I think a lot of them are being pretty dumb. But I’m not getting invited to the White House. I would not get invited to the White House, so it’s not a decision I have to make. A lot of them are saying, ‘Oh, don’t be political,’ and then they’re showing up at the White House.

Well, guess what? You are being political. [It’s] unfortunate. But great for some people—some people love it. Everyone always says ‘don’t be political’ until it’s their politics, and then they’re rooting for it. And we’re all guilty of that.”

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has also been a regular visitor of the White House in recent months, and he has been photographed with the president on more than one occasion.

  • CM Punk Reveals The \’Genesis\’ Of His WWE Theme Song

CM Punk\’s love for living colour started long before his wrestling career.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently spoke to Morning Mosh, promoting the upcoming Elimination Chamber PPV. He talked about things such as the latest presidential controversy, absurd fan signs, and more.

During the interview, he was also asked about his current theme song, Cult of Personality by Living Colour. CM Punk revealed that he actually first heard the song when he was just 11 years old:

\”Well, I was on a little league team in 1989, and that was the team song, believe it or not. That\’s the genesis of that. And just an amazing band, amazing group of guys. When I was still wrestling on the Indies, I used that song.\”

    I Didn\’t Want To Re-sign: CM Punk

Explaining how he got the theme in WWE, CM Punk recalled one of the pivotal years of his wrestling career in 2011. The Straight Edge star revealed that he had actually asked Vince McMahon for it in hopes that the former WWE Chairman would decline his request:

\”How I got it in WWE? Vince McMahon was notoriously against spending money on licensed music. He didn\’t like spending money, you know? And it was one of the things I requested if I was going to re-sign in 2011.

So I cooked up a bunch of requests, a bunch of asks that I assumed he would say no to, because I didn\’t want to re-sign. I just wanted to kind of take a break for a minute. And then he went and said yes to everything. I was kind of like, \’oh damn,\’ and that was, that was one of them. You gotta license this song.\”

The former AEW star will be defending his title against Finn Balor at the PPV tonight from Chicago. The show could also feature the debut of one of his good friends. You can check out more about it here.

  • Danhausen Officially Becomes A Free Agent Ahead of Elimination Chamber

Danhausen is officially a free agent.

The AEW star had teased impending \’freedom\’ with multiple social media posts yesterday, adding more fuel to the fire on the rumors about his wrestling future.

Now, another major update about his status seems to have been confirmed, with AEW removing his profile from their official roster page:

Danhausen\’s AEW contract was reported to be expiring sometime in early 2026, and a free agent status means that the 35-year-old can sign with WWE immediately if he chooses.

With the reveal of the mystery crate storyline set for tonight\’s Elimination Chamber PPV, it could be the perfect opportunity to introduce the now former AEW star on WWE programming.

Though the company recently threw a curveball in another of their mystery storylines with the Vision on this week\’s SmackDown. The show saw a hooded person attacking Logan Paul once again, only this time Paul was able to pull his mask off.

The face behind his mask was not one belonging to the WWE roster, however, as it was widely believed. You can check out the real identity of the mystery man here.

  • Rhea Ripley Breaks Silence After Tag Title Loss

Rhea Ripley has reacted to her SmackDown loss.

The latest episode of the Blue Branded show saw The Mami and her partner IYO SKY putting the tag team titles on the line against Nia Jax and Lash Legend. Legend picked up a surprise victory for her team in the match, pinning The Eradicator in the process of becoming the new tag team champions.

The former Women\’s Champion broke her silence after the show with a short social media post where Rhea Ripley apologized to SKY for the loss. Her partner quickly responded, telling her not to say sorry:

Rhiyo won the tag team titles by defeating the Kabuki Warriors during the Raw Netflix anniversary special earlier this year. The loss to The Irresistible Forces ends their reign at 54 days.

The Mami is scheduled to take part in the Women\’s Elimination Chamber match tomorrow night alongside names such as Raquel Rodriguez, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Kiana James, and Tiffany Stratton. The winner of the match will go on to challenge Jade Cargill for the Women\’s title at WrestleMania 42.

Rhea is unlikely to be kept off the Mania card, so she is one of the favorites to win the cage match. Where that leaves her tag team partner is something we will have to see.

  • Logan Paul Earns Elimination Chamber Spot After Mystery Man Reveal

Logan Paul is going to the Elimination Chamber.

WWE had made a singles match between The Maverick and Jacob Fatu to determine the final contestant for the upcoming cage match after Jey Uso was attacked by a mystery assailant before this week\’s episode of SmackDown.

The match that main-evented the PPV go-home show was going in the direction everyone expected when Paul Heyman and Austin Theory interfered in the bout and the masked man once again showed up to cause a distraction.

This time, however, Logan Paul was able to get a shot at the mystery person. The former US Champion went on to pull his mask off, but the face behind it was not anyone from the current WWE roster. He was then taken away by the security.

Fatu looked to take advantage of this situation. He almost had the match won when Logan got back into the ring but Drew McIntyre showed up at the last minute and delivered a cheap shot to Jacob.

The show finally ended with Logan Paul picking up the victory and earning himself the final spot in the Elimination Chamber match. He will now compete against Je\’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and LA Knight for a shot at Drew McIntyre\’s WWE title at WrestleMania 42.

  • Bronson Reed To Miss WrestleMania After Recent Injury

Bronson Reed will be getting surgery soon.

The Vision star suffered an unfortunate injury during the February 23 episode of Raw in an Elimination Chamber qualifier match against Jey Uso and the Original El Grande Americano.

Fightful Select recently provided an update on his status, confirming that the Monster-Sized Athlete is set to undergo surgery for his torn bicep soon, and he is expected to be sidelined through WrestleMania.

The report also confirms that Reed was originally expected to be part of the Elimination Chamber match this weekend, and the plans were changed on the fly during the triple threat match after his injury.

Jey Uso had pinned Americano at that time to earn himself a spot in the upcoming cage match. The former Bloodline member, however, was attacked on this week\’s episode of SmackDown and has been ruled out of the upcoming PPV.

WWE has announced a singles match between Jacob Fatu and Logan Paul to find a replacement for Uso in the Chamber, and we\’ll have to see which one of the two names is able to cash in on this opportunity.

  • Danhausen Teases \’Freedom\’ Amid WWE Rumors

Danhausen is teasing the end of his AEW run.

The AEW star has been part of the list of talents on long hiatus from the company without an explanation. There have been some recent rumblings about the 35-year-old\’s future, however, and now the wrestling star himself has teased a move.

Danhausen made a number of interesting posts early on Friday morning, with \’freedom\’ being the common theme among them:

    Danhausen To WWE?

The comedy star has remained active in the independent circuit during his absence from TV, even if Tony Khan has not booked him for an appearance since the ROH Final Battle PPV back in December 2024. Previous reports have indicated that his contract with the company is expected to expire sometime in early 2026.

WWE has recently booked a mystery crate storyline that been featured on both Raw and SmackDown, with the reveal set for the February 28 Elimination Chamber PPV from Chicago.

The Viper appeared on the Pat McAfee show recently to promote the upcoming Elimination Chamber PPV. He discussed topics such as Tom Brady calling wrestling cute, his longevity in the business and more.

During the interview, the former World Champion also revealed his thoughts on Dominik Mysterio. Randy Orton recalled his first impression of the 28-year-old when he signed with the company in 2019 and discussed how things have changed since then:

\”He\’s a piece of shit. But let\’s be serious [amazing talent]. When I first saw that guy, five, six years ago, I thought, \’oh, man, poor kid,\’ look at him now. He\’s got the world by the balls. He\’s smart. He\’s got a look. He went from not having a look, and I\’m thinking, like, \’Man, what\’s this kid gonna do?\’ And now all of a sudden, he\’s, like, got more heat than anybody.\”

Dominik Mysterio last competed during the February 16 episode of Raw. He failed to qualify for the Elimination Chamber in a triple threat won by Je\’Von Evans.

Orton, on the other hand, successfully qualified for the match. He will now compete against Evans, Cody Rhodes, LA Knight and Jey Uso for an opportunity to challenge WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 42.

The AEW star said that she loves that fans still talk about her and told them to keep the chatter up when asked to send them a message. Though Britt Baker later also revealed that she has had to stop working as a full-time dentist because of overzealous fans:

“Not full time anymore. As much as I love the wrestling fans, they are a little passionate, sometimes for their own good and my own safety. It got a little carried away sometimes with some scary wrestling fans wanting to come kill me because I’m a bad guy.”

  • SmackDown Stars Return To TV After Holiday Tour Injury

Michin and B-Fab are back on SmackDown.

This week\’s episode of the Blue Branded Show featured a backstage segment that saw the Women\’s Champion Jade Cargill in a photoshoot. The former AEW star ran into B-Fab as she started walking away.

When Cargill asked the former Hit Row star if she wanted to challenge her, B-Fab replied that there were others in line before her, and this is when Michin entered the frame.

Carrying a Kendo stick, the returning star warned Jade that she will be coming after the Women\’s Champion for injuring her. The segment ended with Cargill walking away.

Michin suffered an injury while wrestling Jade Cargill during the post-Christmas live event tour last December. B-Fab, who replaced Mia Yim on the tour, also ended up being put on the shelf after a house show match with the former TBS Champion. Both women had been off TV since.

Mia Yim was scheduled for a championship match against Jade before her injury, and it\’s possible she\’ll get her title shot after tonight\’s return.

  • Giulia Reposts Video Criticising Her Main Roster Booking

Giulia seems to be unhappy with her main roster booking.

The Women\’s US Champion recently reposted an Instagram video of herself dancing during one of her matches in Japan. The caption of the video criticised her booking on the main roster, saying that SmackDown co-lead writer Road Dogg should just let her be herself:

\”The WWE needs to just let Giulia be Giulia. Ever since she was called up its felt like Road Dogg has been trying to book her into what he thinks she should be instead of what she is.\”

The Japanese star was signed by the company in the latter half of 2024, the same as Stephanie Vaquer and Zaria. All three of their careers however, have taken very different turns.

Both Giulia and Vaquer had successful careers in NXT, having runs with the brand\’s Women\’s title before their main roster debut on the Raw after WrestleMania 41. Vaquer has gone on to become a prominent player in WWE since then, currently holding the Women\’s World Championship on the Raw brand.

Her Japanese counterpart has found herself stuck in the mid-card title scene on SmackDown, currently being in her second reign as the Women\’s US Champion.

Zaria, previously known as Delta seems to have had the worst luck of the three. While she has made a couple of main roster appearances, the Australian star has not been called up officially yet and she has not won any titles in NXT in her time with the brand either.

  • Aleister Black Pins Randy Orton In SmackDown Main Event

Aleister Black has pinned Randy Orton.

The main event of this week\’s SmackDown saw the two wrestling veterans going head-to-head in a singles match with Zelina Vega on her husband\’s side. The Viper looked to be firmly in control of the match towards the ending, after he delivered his signature DDT to Black outside the ring using the announce desk.

Drew McIntyre, however, made a surprise appearance despite having been escorted out of the building earlier in the night by orders of Nick Aldis. The WWE Champion took out Orton with a Claymore but the match continued as the referee was busy checking in on Black.

Cody Rhodes showed up to chase McIntyre out of the arena again but the damage was done. The former NXT Champion did not miss this opportunity. As Randy Orton got back into the ring, Aleister delivered a Black Mass to pin the former World Champion.

Randy is set to enter the Elimination Chamber alongside Cody Rhodes, Trick Williams, Je\’Von Evans, LA Knight and one other participant next Saturday on February 28. The winner of the bout will challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE title at WrestleMania 42.
