  • Toni Storm & Mariah May Brawl At \’Queen Of The Ring\’ Red Carpet Premiere

Mariah May sent a painful message to AEW Women\’s World Champion \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm at the red carpet premiere of Queen of the Ring. During the event, May attacked her former mentor. Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture captured footage from the brawl.

May and Storm will battle for the AEW Women\’s World Championship at Revolution in their third title match on pay-per-view. May captured the title from Storm at AEW All In: London 2024 while Storm regained the gold at Grand Slam: Australia. The feud between the pair has been one of the best ever from AEW\’s Women\’s division and will have its Hollywood ending this weekend at Revolution.

Queen of the Ring tells the story of Mildred Burke and her pivotal role in shaping Women\’s Wrestling in the early 20th Century. Storm appears in the film as Clara Mortensen, an in-ring adversary of Burke. Other notable names in the cast include Britt Baker, Kamille, and WWE\’s Naomi, who portray wrestlers of the era. Jim Cornette plays an NWA commissioner.

  • Darth Vince: Ex-WWE Boss Was Like Star Wars Villain, Claims Hall of Famer

Vince McMahon was able to strike fear in WWE employees like the dreaded Star Wars villain Darth Vader, according to D-Von Dudley. Speaking to The Daily Star, D-Von gave his unique explanation of his former boss.

\”Vince McMahon had a Darth Vader type of aura about him where people feared him, as opposed to a charismatic personality. It was as soon as he walked into that room, it was like Darth Vader.”

McMahon may not have been able to use the force or swing a lightsaber, but \”petrified\” D-Von the first time they came face-to-face. Though he described McMahon as a \”very shrewd businessman,\” D-Von added that McMahon would go all-in on ideas, even bad ones.

\”Even if he had an inkling that he was wrong, he still wanted what he wanted when he wanted it. And that was just the way Vince was and still is, I bet.\”

McMahon stepped down from WWE for the second time in early 2024 over the claims made in Janel Grant\’s lawsuit. McMahon has denied all accusations of misconduct and has said their relationship was entirely consensual. McMahon reportedly has plans for a new entertainment company, leaving fans to speculate whether a return to promoting wrestling could come.

D-Von is hardly the first WWE name to speak of McMahon\’s imposing presence behind the scenes. As questions remain as to what future, if any, McMahon will have in wrestling, his complicated legacy continues to be the subject of discussion and debate among fans and those who knew McMahon up close.

  • Greg Miller Confirms WWE Exit: \’I Knew This Day Was Coming\’

Greg Miller has confirmed reports that he has parted ways with WWE after his profile was recently removed from the promotion\’s website. In a video, Miller admitted that his exit wasn\’t a massive surprise.

“I knew this day was coming. I was actually just hoping to skate by a little bit longer on WWE.com Superstars so that I could keep saying I was a WWE Superstar.”

Though listed on WWE.com\’s page of Superstars, Miller wasn\’t an in-ring talent and instead hosted the This Is Awesome show on the WWE Network and Peacock. After three seasons, the show wrapped in the summer of 2024 with WWE citing budget concerns. The clearest indication that his WWE run was over came in January when the This Is Awesome production team was laid off.

\”The people who make This Is Awesome were actually laid off in January. And I was like, well, that’s not good. Now there’s no one there to actually make it happen.\”

As Miller\’s role in WWE continued to diminish, Big E\’s continued to grow. Three years after his neck injury the former WWE Champion remains a key part of events, including pre and post-PLE coverage.

\”You’ve seen Big E come out and host a bunch of different shows. And I think more than anything, that’s like, ‘Yeah, this is why it doesn’t make sense for Greg Miller, video game dork, to go host anything.\”

Despite his exit, Miller was confident that this won\’t be the last time fans see him doing things with WWE, and predicted a crossover into the video game world. For now, Miller, a known name in gaming, is ready to take on other projects away from the ring.

  • Will Ospreay: Triple H\’s \’Grind\’ Comment Was About Me

Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque stirred up a lot of drama in 2024 when he said that some wrestlers didn\’t want the \’grind\’ of being a WWE talent when compared to other promotions. On the Insight podcast, Will Ospreay, who signed with AEW shortly before Levesque\’s comments, said WWE\’s CCO was speaking about him.

\”He was [talking about me]. I\’ve got people that I won\’t throw under the bus, saying, Yeah, it was about me.\”

Levesque didn\’t mention any of these alleged grind-avoiding wrestlers by name, and Ospreay isn\’t taking the comment personally. Instead, Ospreay believes it\’d be foolish for him to loathe Levesque for the comment given they\’ve never come face-to-face.

\”I don\’t hate the guy. I\’ve never met him. How can I hate someone that I\’ve never even met?\”

Ospreay fired back during a 2024 edition of Dynamite, in which he said Levesque had only reached the heights he did by \’grinding\’ on Stephanie McMahon. This would spark its own backlash, with fans pointing out Levesque\’s in-ring success and finding the comment about McMahon degrading. Ospreay later regretted his comments, announcing he was done \’lowering\’ himself to tribalism.

There\’s never been hard proof that Levesque\’s comment was aimed at Ospreay, but according to those in AEW, the belief within WWE is that this is the case. With Ospreay and Levesque seeing success in their respective roles in wrestling though, its clear both are willing to \’grind\’ for their success.

  • ‘Absolute Wonder Woman’ Bears Striking Resemblance to Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley has dominated the landscape of WWE, but has \’Mami\’ made her presence felt in the world of DC Comics? In Absolute Wonder Woman #6, the iconic superhero can be seen climbing a mountain and bears a striking resemblance to the former WWE Women\’s World Champion.

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"

Many fans noticed Wonder Woman\’s similarity to the WWE Superstar and discussed the comparison on social media.

DC Comics launched its Absolute Universe in late 2024, offering fresh takes on classic characters such as Wonder Woman, Superman, and Batman. In this reimagined universe, Diana was raised in Hell rather than on Themyscira, under the guidance of the witch Circe, typically one of her adversaries. This version of Wonder Woman is a much darker character, blending Amazonian strength with dark magic.

From The Ring to the Page

Wrestling and comics are no strangers, with several promotions having their talent recreated for the comic book page. WWE has had several publications published over the years, including with BOOM! Studios in the late 2010s.

As for DC Comics, they recently partnered with AEW, as both parties fall under the Warner Bros. Discovery umbrella. In 2024, several DC titles featured back-up stories detailing the origins of some of AEW\’s biggest names. Will Ospreay, Britt Baker, Darby Allin, Swerve Strickland, Orange Cassidy, and \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm were given the comic-book treatment in a treat for wrestling fans and comic readers alike.

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"

Ripley has yet to receive a confirmed appearance in a comic book, but fans certainly took notice of Absolute Wonder Woman\’s similarity to the WWE Superstar. With her larger-than-life personality and impressive physique, it may be just a matter of time before Ripley has a comic of her very own.

  • Ava Named ‘Boss’ of WWE EVOLVE on Debut Episode

WWE debuted its new EVOLVE show on March 5 and now the new brand has a brand-new authority figure. During the premiere episode, Shawn Michaels and Ava were seen conversing on-screen. Michaels shared that he was handing her the keys to EVOLVE to Ava, allowing the daughter of The Rock to book the show as she sees fit. When Ava responded by teasing big plans for next week, Michaels replied, \”You\’re the boss,\” before closing out the segment.

Ava\’s appointment to the boss of WWE EVOLVE marks her second role as an on-screen authority figure. After initally being introduced as an in-ring talent, Ava has transitioned to being the General Manager of WWE NXT. The fourth-generation talent has proven her value for the silver brand and has held her own in laying down the law against some of NXT\’s biggest stars.

WWE EVOLVE will feature stars from WWE NXT as well as independent talent, many of whom have been sourced from the WWE ID program. The show will feature Peter Rosenberg and Robert Stone on commentary, and will broadcast on Tubi in the United States and YouTube internationally. With Ava already teasing big things for the new brand, it remains to be seen what the \’Boss\’ has in store for WWE EVOLVE.

  • Samantha Irvin Referenced On AEW Dynamite

Samantha Irvin has yet to resurface in wrestling since exiting WWE in late 2024, but the former ring announcer was referenced on the latest AEW Dynamite. In the show\’s opening segment, Ricochet and Swerve Strickland signed the contract for their match at Revolution. During the intense segment, Swere Strickland said that Ricochet will only be remembered for two things: Swere “briefly” reviving his career, and “your ring announcer wife.”

Ricochet didn\’t like that one bit, and when Strickland\’s back was turned, attempted to stab Swerve with his scissors. Swerve stopped Ricochet and then he stabbed him in the face with a pair of his own scissors.

The reference to Irvin, albeit not by name, has further fueled expectations among fans that she will join AEW in due time. Though Irvin left WWE to focus on projects outside of wrestling, including her music career, fans shouldn\’t count out Irvin becoming All Elite, perhaps as the manager of her fiancee.

In the meantime, Ricochet Vs. Swerve Strickland at AEW Revolution will determine the next challenger for the AEW World Championship. Strickland is hungry to regain the gold he lost at All In: London 2024 while Ricochet is determined to prove his status among the very top in AEW. With that in mind, fans can expect a war at Revolution between two of AEW\’s most captivating talents.

  • MJF Tries To Set \’Hangman\’ Page On Fire On AEW Dynamite

The feud between MJF and Hangman Page took a dark turn on the March 5 episode of AEW Dynamite, as MJF attempted to set his adversary on fire! During the show, MJF called out Page for a fight—but instead of facing him head-on, he used a decoy to lure Page into the ring before blindsiding him from behind.

The two brawled, but MJF quickly took control, landing a low blow before dropping Page with a Heatseeker. During the brawl, MJF pulled out the Dynamite Diamond Ring and cracked Page across the face, leaving him dazed in the ring.

Then, MJF made it clear he wasn’t done as he told the fans “You love it when Page burns things? Let’s see how you feel about this.”

He grabbed a bottle of lighter fluid, drenched Page with it, and pulled out a lighter, sending the crowd into chaos. But before he could go through with it, security rushed the ring, restrained him, and dragged him away as he screamed that he “wanted to prove his point.”

The entire scene was a direct response to Hangman Page’s past actions, including setting Swerve Strickland\’s childhood home on fire. MJF and Page will do battle at AEW Revolution, in a meeting of two of AEW\’s biggest success stories and former World Champions.

  • Wrestlers Dazzle The Red Carpet At \’Queen Of The Ring\’ Premiere

The world of pro wrestling was fully on display at the movie premiere for Queen of the Ring, the new biopic about the life and career of Mildred Burke. At the New York City premiere, AEW\’s Prince Nana, Queen Aminata, ROH Women\’s World Champion Athena, Skye Blue, Deonna Purrazzo, and Julia Hart were all dressed to impress.

It wasn\’t just AEW talent who were in attendance for the big event. WWE Superstars Jimmy Uso and Naomi also dazzled on the red carpet. Naomi donned a neck brace, selling the attack she received at Elimination Chamber: Toronto by Jade Cargill.

Queen of the Ring tells the story of Burke, one of the pioneers of women\’s wrestling, as played by Emily Bett Rickards (Arrow.) The film also features plenty of genuine in-ring talent, including Naomi as Ethel Johnson, the first African-American Women\’s Champion. AEW\’s Kamille is in the film as June Byers, an adversary of Burke, while \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm portrays Clara Mortensen. Britt Baker is Debbie Nichols in the film while Jim Cornette will portray an NWA commissioner.

Burke\’s story is an exciting mix of highs and lows at a time when women\’s wrestling (then known as \’Girl Wrestling\’) was not the attraction it has become in the modern-day. With Burke\’s legacy continuing long after her death, Queen of the Ring is set to wow fans when it releases in March 2025.

  • WWE, UFC & The Rock Named in Bizarre Lawsuit Alleging Corruption

A bizarre lawsuit has been filed against WWE, UFC, TKO Group Holdings, and even The Rock, alleging everything from corruption and conspiracy to unauthorized medical experimentation. Lius Danny Soto filed the 12-page lawsuit in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York, accusing Endeavor, IMG, WWE, UFC, Seven Bucks Productions, Dana White, and several others. Soto is alleging harassment, bribery, illegal medical testing, and even political corruption.

Allegations Against WWE, UFC & TKO

Soto’s lawsuit claims that WWE has a long history of corruption, alleging that the company has bribed judges, prosecutors, and lawmakers in Connecticut, New York, Florida, and Georgia. He further argues that WWE’s sale to Endeavor and its merger with UFC into TKO Group Holdings were orchestrated to “circumvent liability laws in the Atlantic States.”

He also claims that executives and performers from WWE and UFC have harassed, stalked, and threatened him. Soto even claims that a “black market” exists within both companies for drug distribution, political fundraising, and exploitation.

    Claims Of Medical Experimentation

Soto\’s accusation includes stating that he was subjected to virtual medical patient simulators and anthropomorphic test devices. This allegedly resulted in seizures, convulsions, and pain. He further alleges that medical equipment—intended for treating mental disorders common among drug abusers—was secretly installed in his home and used on him without his permission.

“Without consent or knowledge, equipment was installed in my home that is used to treat mental disorders common among drug abusers. This equipment was used on me without my consent.”

Soto also asserts that WWE, UFC, and Seven Bucks Productions allowed politicians and law enforcement. Soto adds that President Donald Trump and his family used the equipment against him and that executives have bribed politicians to avoid legal consequences.

    Foul Odor Detected

Soto alleges that female employees used gas chromatography-mass spectrometry technology to release foul odors in his presence to cause stress and embarrassment. He adds that AI-generated videos have been created by the accused to frame him for illegal activities.

Despite these shocking accusations, there is currently no documented evidence supporting Soto’s claims. He is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, lost wages, and legal fees, and has requested a jury trial. With no defendants having been served yet, it remains to be seen whether this lawsuit will gain any traction.

  • WWE 2K25 Gameplay Producer Addresses Possible TNA Inclusion

WWE 2K25 is mere days away from launching, and fans are speculating whether TNA Wrestling could be making its way into the game. With the multi-year partnership between WWE and TNA going strong, the idea of TNA talent and arenas being a part of WWE 2K25 appears a genuine possibility.

Bryan Williams, WWE 2K25 Gameplay Producer, recently addressed the matter in an interview with Restart. While he didn’t confirm anything, he acknowledged that discussions are taking place.

\”It\’s something that we’re all excited about—the potential of maybe one day incorporating TNA into our game. But as of today, as I’m talking to you right now, we’re just still discussing things.\”

Williams said that the developers are in a \”wait-and-see\” moment, and acknowledged that this \”is not the greatest answer.\” Nevertheless, he, like fans, is excited at the prospect of TNA talent joining WWE 2K25.

TNA Wrestling has a history in video games, but its only major console release was TNA iMPACT! in 2008. Since then, the promotion has only had mobile and handheld adaptations, leaving fans eager for a proper return to consoles.

With Joe Hendry potentially being teased as DLC, it appears that TNA could appear in WWE 2K25 afterall, but nothing has been confirmed. With over 300 playable characters confirmed, the game will be a massive project, one that could grow even bigger with the inclusion of TNA Wrestling.

WWE 2K25 will be released on March 14, with the Bloodline and Deadman Editions releasing on March 7.

  • Shawn Spears Wins WWE NXT North American Championship

The March 4 episode of WWE NXT was a packed show that ended with a huge title change. In the main event of the evening, Shawn Spears won the NXT North American Championship, his first title in WWE.

Taking on Tony D\’Angelo, the match had a big-fight feel, amplified by Lilian Garcia’s standout introductions. As the contest progressed, there were several near falls, with the NXT Arena firmly behind \”The Don of NXT.\” Going into the match, there were concerns within the Family about D\’Angelo\’s physical condition. The final saw D\’Angelo attempt a move but is back gave out, allowing Spears to capitalize and score the pinfall.

D’Angelo had been the NXT North American Champion since the October 8 episode of NXT in Saint Louis at The Factory, where he dethroned Oba Femi. His reign had seen him retain against the likes of Ridge Holland, Ethan Page, and Brooks Jensen.

This win marks Spears\’ first championship on WWE programming, which has been a long time coming given that he first signed with WWE back in 2006. This victory adds Spears\’ name to the list of AEW alum to have won championships in WWE, joining the likes of Lexis King, Jade Cargill, Ethan Page, and Cody Rhodes.

It remains to be seen what the future looks like for Spears as Champion, but with his dark faction at his side, it may be a long time before anyone takes the gold from the Chair-man of NXT.

  • MJF Claims Historic Wrestling Contract, Knows When He\’ll Retire

MJF has made it clear for years that he is \”Better Than You,\” but the longest reigning AEW World Champion is also richer too. Speaking on the SI Media podcast with Jimmy Traina, MJF claimed the AEW contract he signed in 2024 makes him one of the highest-paid wrestlers in the industry. Though he didn\’t give an exact figure, he claimed that reports of $15 million per year were “a little light.”

\”I won the bidding war. WWE didn’t win the bidding war. AEW didn’t win the bidding war. I won the bidding war.\”

MJF will be \”absurdly young and making an absurd amount of money again\” by the time his current contract is up. At just 28 years old, MJF has already built an impressive resume which includes a reign as AEW International Champion.

“The amount of money I get by the time [the AEW contract] is over, far surpasses $15 million. I\’m making top guy money.”

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"

Despite his considerable success in the ring, MJF shared that he has a \”hard out\” for his full-time career. Coy as always, MJF didn\’t disclose an exact age, but teased that it begins with a four.

\”I have an age where I have a definitive out. That doesn’t mean I can’t come back to pop a crowd, sell some tickets, and sell some merch. But I won’t be on weekly TV forever.\”

If MJF\’s \’four\’ comment is honest, then fans can expect at least another dozen years of MJF as a regular on programming. With the Devil already building a Hall of Fame-worthy resume, with record-setting title reigns and major rivalries, fans are excited to see what\’s to come for the longest-reigning AEW World Champion in the future.

  • MJF: Adam Sandler Personally Picked Me for \’Happy Gilmore 2\’

MJF\’s Hollywood star is on the rise, thanks to his upcoming role in Netflix\’s much-anticipated Happy Gilmore 2. Speaking on the SI Media Podcast with Jimmy Traina, the AEW star revealed that Adam Sandler himself selected him for a key role after watching his audition.

\”Adam Sandler saw my audition and was apparently laughing like a hyena. Then he said, ‘I want this guy,’ and I got the role. And it’s a big one.”

MJF didn\’t share specific details about his character but confirmed he has significant screen time in the sequel to the 1996 comedy classic. With fans waiting decades to see what the titular Happy Gilmore (Sandler) has been up to, the movie is expected to be a major blockbuster.

Happy Gilmore 2 will mark another big step for MJF in acting and comes after he served as an executive producer on The Iron Claw. On the podcast, the former AEW World Champion made clear that Hollywood is a major part of his future and is pleased his wrestling contract allows him the freedom to pursue acting projects.

\”Tony Khan is a mark, but he’s not a dumb mark. The bigger I build my name, the more people search ‘MJF AEW.’ That helps everybody.\”

Deadline reported  in a February 2025 report that the movie is slated to premiere on Netflix on July 25, 2025, though this date has not been confirmed by Netflix or Sandler himself. Whenever Happy Gilmore 2 hits screens, fans will get the chance to see MJF flex his acting muscles out of the ring.

  • MJF Confirms Shoulder Injury, But Dodges Surgery Question

MJF doesn\’t like being questioned about his medical history, but has confirmed that his shoulder has been injured. On the SI Media Podcast with Jimmy Traina, MJF wouldn\’t say whether he had undergone surgery or not on his shoulder.

\”I hurt my shoulder. Did I have surgery? I’m not… what do they call it… HIPAA violations? You really shouldn’t ask me questions like that.\”

When asked again, MJF remained vague and made clear that his shoulder is \”good now.\”

\”When I take my shirt off, I am the most in-shape professional wrestler in my company—not that that\’s hard.\”

MJF missed months of in-ring action before returning to AEW programming in 2024, and isn\’t interested in giving clear answers about his possible surgery. Instead, MJF is focused on reclaiming his spot at the very top of the company.

MJF\’s first major test on that journey back to the top will come at AEW Revolution where he will battle fellow former World Champion \’Hangman\’ Adam Page. With two of AEW\’s biggest success stories set to do battle, it remains to be seen whether MJF can dispatch of the Cowboy, and whether his shoulder will handle such a gruelling contest.

  • Of Course: MJF Loved John Cena’s ‘Awesome’ Heel Turn

John Cena’s shocking heel turn at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto stunned fans worldwide, as well as former AEW World Champion MJF. On the SI Media with Jimmy Traina Podcast, MJF confirmed he saw Cena attack Cody Rhodes, calling it an \”awesome moment.\” Unashamed to watch WWE\’s current product, MJF took aim at wrestlers who pretend they don’t watch rival promotions.

\”If you are a top guy and you don’t consume as much professional wrestling as you possibly can, can you call yourself a student of the game?\”

Cena and The Rock were joined by Travis Scott in their beatdown of Rhodes, though fans have taken issue with the rapper being part of such a shocking moment. While MJF acknowledged that Scott\’s presence in the Rogers Centre was strange, he played devil\’s advocate.

\”Somebody might have said the same thing about Dennis Rodman standing with the NWO back in the day. But because Rodman was there, ESPN and major news outlets covered it. Maybe that’s what WWE was thinking.\”

Cena\’s heel turn is already being cited as one of wrestling\’s most shocking and controversial moments. As someone who is no stranger to controversy, MJF compared his own career to Cena and argued that wrestling\’s biggest stars never truly leave.

\”You think The Rock doesn’t love the roller coaster? Where was he this week?\”

MJF has a \”hard out\” for his full-time career in the ring, but like Cena, knows the power of an effective comeback. With questions remaining about what\’s next for John Cena, fans, and MJF, will be watching the WWE icon very closely.

  • Cody Rhodes Reportedly Injured at Elimination Chamber

Travis Scott didn\’t just align with The Rock and John Cena at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto, but he also left Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes hurting. During the climactic three-on-one assault on Rhodes, Scott could be seen striking Cody near his ear, producing a loud thud that caused fans in the Rogers Centre to wince.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Rhodes sustained a burst eardrum and a black eye at Elimination Chamber: Toronto. Meltzer shared that he was \”pretty sure\” that Scott caused the injuries given the strike to Rhodes\’ ear.

Rhodes didn\’t appear during WWE Raw, selling the effects of the beating he received in Toronto. During the show, Michael Cole confirmed that the American Nightmare will be a part of the March , edition of WWE SmackDown, where he\’ll address all that went down.

Scott ended the night standing tall alongside Cena and the Final Boss but Rhodes might get the opportunity to take revenge on the music artist. Scott has reportedly been training in the ring, and WWE has discussed the possibility of booking him for future matches. During the post-show press conference, The Rock confirmed that fans will see Scott compete in the ring one day.

With Rhodes set to face John Cena at WrestleMania 41, it remains to be seen how their feud will develop in the coming weeks. With Travis Scott now involved, the storyline could take some unexpected turns.

  • AJ Styles Recalls Scary Lisfranc Injury: I Thought This Is It

AJ Styles feared the worst after suffering a Lisfranc injury in October 2024, in his first match back on TV after a lengthy absence. Speaking on the Insight podcast, Styles recalled his fears at the time.

\”I was like \’This is it.\’ How am I going to recover again? I was like \’This might be it,\’ and it sucked.\”

Styles was frustrated when WWE\’s cameras caught up to him after the SmackDown in Nashville, a reaction that AJ made clear was not an act. The injury was so severe that Styles was warned not to look into it, advice the veteran promptly ignored.

\”My doctor, who is also my friend, was like do not look this up. I\’m like I\’m gonna look this up, and it\’s a career-ending injury.\”

A Lisfranc injury is commin in car wrecks and pro football, Styles added, and he was fortunate that he was able to return to the ring. AJ\’s journey back to wrestling was no easy feat, however, as even the most basic of tasks proved difficult.

\”It sucked. It\’s so crazy that you have to learn how to walk again to a certain extent, like how did I forget how to run?…  It’ll mess with you.\”

Styles has returned to the ring and has wasted no time in teasing big plans, including a feud with Logan Paul and chasing Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker. Though Styles has shared he only has a few years left in the ring, the Phenomenal One is ready to give his all and hopefully keep injury free from here on.

  • How IYO SKY Made History With WWE Women\’s World Title Win

IYO SKY didn\’t just capture the Women\’s World Championship on the March 3, WWE Raw, but she also made history in the process. In the main event of the show, SKY defeated Rhea Ripley to win the gold, kicking off her first reign as Women\’s World Champion.

SKY\’s victory wasn\’t just big for her and Damage CTRL, but has etched the Japanese star\’s name into the history books. With her win, SKY has become the first woman to win a Grand Slam in two major promotions.

SKY first achieved the feat in STARDOM, where she held every championship available to accomplish during her tenure. Not only is SKY a STARDOM Grand Slam Champion, but she was the first-ever wrestler to accomplish the feat.

The Genius of the Sky is the seventh Women\’s WWE Grand Slam Champion, following in the footsteps of the Four Horsewomen, Asuka, and Rhea Ripley. The feat is accomplished when a Superstar has held the Raw/Women\’s Championship, the SmackDown/Women\’s World Championship, the NXT Women\’s Championship, and the WWE Women\’s Tag Team Championships.

With this victory, SKY is set to face Bianca Belair, the 2025 Women\’s Elimination Chamber match, at WrestleMania 41. With her second WrestleMania title match in two years, IYO SKY continues to prove herself as a trailblazer in the ring.

  • AJ Styles Promises Retirement By 50, Talks Final Opponent

Plans are still yet to be finalized for AJ Styles\’ retirement from the ring, but the Phenomenal One knows exactly when he\’ll hang up his boots. Speaking on the Insight podcast, Styles admitted that he\’s been thinking a lot about his retirement from wrestling, though he\’s yet to nail down the details.

\”I should have known what I was doing by now. But it\’s so hard because you enjoy it so much and I enjoy being around my friends.\”

Styles clarified that as much as he loves competing for WWE, he also loves being with his family. With WWE\’s product excelling in the way it has in recent years though, Styles is finding it harder to lock-down plans for his life after wrestling.

While Styles doesn\’t have a plan for his retirement just yet, he at least knows when he wants to go. In the past, Styles has said that he\’ll be done in the ring by the time he is 50.

\”That\’s correct. I keep saying that. I\’ve said this and said this, but I will not wrestle at 50, I promise you that.\”

Styles, who is 47 years old, does not have a final opponent in mind but with his immense talent, there will be no shortage on names wanting to work with the former WWE and TNA World Champion. In the meantime, Styles will continue to show his skills in the ring on Monday Night Raw, where he has proven to be the Phenomenal One.

  • Lyra Valkyria Talks What\’s Next After Successful Title Defense

On the March 3, edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Lyra Valkyria retained the Women\’s Intercontinental Championships against Ivy Nile. Speaking after the show, Valkyria admitted feeling worse for wear after facing the American Made star.

\”I still have a black eye under this makeup from Ivy last week, and my knee has felt better. But she tried her best to take me out [and] was unsuccessful.\”

Valkyria is proud to still be standing, despite her bad knee, and still be Women\’s Intercontinental Champion. The Irish Superstar is ready for whatever comes next.

\”I\’m still Women\’s Intercontinental Champion. Ivy Nile is in the past, and I\’m excited for whoever and whatever comes next.\”

Valkyria is the first-ever Women\’s Intercontinental Champion after winning a tournament which saw her defeat Dakota Kai in the finals. With another successful title match under her boat, the Valkyria is ready to spread her wings and take her Women\’s Intercontinental Championship to WrestleMania 41.

  • Sonya Deville Open To MMA Return After WWE Exit

Daria Berenato spent years in WWE as Sonya Deville, but with this chapter of her life over, a return to the world of Mixed Martial Arts remains a possibility. While speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Berenato explained that she still holds a place in her heart for MMA.

\”I love wrestling, but I love fighting in MMA just the same. They’re in the same boat right now. I had three amateur fights before I got into WWE.\”

Berenato only stopped fighting because she was given an opportunity in WWE as part of 2015\’s Tough Enough. After being cut from the promotion earlier this year, Berenato is ready to step back in the cage.

\”That decision [signing with WWE] led me down the path I’ve been on for the last decade. But my first love was fighting, so that door isn’t closed either.”

Berenato was cut from WWE despite being a regular on TV at the time, a move that has caused concern among the remaining women\’s roster. With many in WWE also unhappy about the handling of women in recent weeks, things have been far from plain sailing for the women of WWE on the Road to WrestleMania 41.

While Berenato is open to a return to MMA, a return to the wrestling ring will hinge on her 90-day non-compete clause with the promotion. One thing for certain, however, is that the former Women\’s Tag Team Champion is far from finished with competing.
