Indi Hartwell is a free agent now that her non-compete clause has expired, and the ex-WWE Superstar is already winning gold. At Renegades of Wrestling\’s latest taping, Hartwell returned to action and won the Women\’s Championship from Aysha, ending a reign that had surpassed 700 days.

Fans at the event gushed on Reddit about the taping, with one calling the win \”impressive\” and another said it \”was an incredible show.\” Fans who didn\’t attend eager to see Hartwell\’s victory will have to wait as Renegades of Wrestling typically upload events to YouTube a week or two after the event takes place.

This victory was particularly special for Hartwell, who competed in her native Melbourne for the first time in six years. Not only was this a homecoming, but Hartwell\’s victory came in her first match since being released from WWE. Hartwell\’s exit was announced in November 2024, but due to SmackDown being taped in advance, she appeared on the blue brand after news of her release.

With a victory and a championship win under her belt, Hartwell is hoping to keep this momentum going back in the United States. The former WWE Superstar will make her House of Glory Wrestling debut at the City Of Dreamz event on March 15 in her first event in the U.S. post-WWE. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Indi Hartwell who is proving that her WWE exit won\’t stop her from succeeding in the ring.

In the comments, several names from wrestling congratulated the couple including Blair Davenport, Gisele Shaw, Swerve Strickland, Lady Frost, Tay Melo, and Drew Gulak.

Hirsch\’s exciting news comes at a pivotal time in her career. Hirsch exited AEW on March 1 and she is currently a free agent. Her most recent match was as part of ROH Final Battle 2024, where she unsucessfully challenged ROH Women\’s World Television Champion Red Velvet.

Hirsch is the latest name in wrestling to tie the knot in recent months. In November 2024, Mandy Rose married her sweetheart Tino Sabbatelli. That same month, NXT\’s Tony D\’Angelo married his wife Isabella with their pet dogs serving as groosmen. 2024 also saw some wrestling power couples make things official, including Kit Wilson and NXT\’s Stevie Turner, as well as Blair Davenport and Riley Osborne.

  • Ex-AEW Star\’s Domestic Battery Case Dismissed, No Charges Filed

Charges will not be filed against former AEW star Bear Boulder, who was arrested in January 2025 following claims of domestic battery by strangulation. PW Insider now reports that the case against Bounder, real name Thomas Wansaw, has been closed and now charges will be fired.

A filing from Katrina Teressa Mosciski, Assistant State Attorney for The Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida, reads:

COMES NOW the State of Florida, by and through the undersigned Assistant State Attorney and states that: 1. From the investigation which has been made, it is the opinion of the writer that this case is not suitable for prosecution. 2. This action is taken to clear the records and to release subject’s bond if any has been posted responsive to the above charge(s). If in custody, defendant should be released. PROVIDED THERE ARE NO OTHER CHARGES OR HOLDS AGAINST HIM.

The vistim had filed a statement on January 15, asking the State Attorney\’s office to not prosecute Wansaw and requested for the charges to be dismissed. That document was added to the court records on February 28.

Bear Boulder had been a part of the Iron Savages tag team alongside Bear Bronson until his termination earlier this year. Bronson has not appeared for AEW or Ring of Honor since the reported incident. His only match since the situation came in March as part of an event for Beyond Wrestling.

  • Cope: AEW Revolution May Be My Last World Title Match

At AEW Revolution 2025, Cope will challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. Speaking on the March 8, edition of AEW Collision, the Rated R Superstar pleaded for \’the old Jon Moxley\’ to face him at the pay-per-view. Cope also acknowledged that the window of opportunity to win another World Championship is closing.

\”I know that time is running out. I know that this could be the last time I ever fight for a World title. So I have to make this count.\”

While time may not be on Cope\’s side, there\’s no expiration date on the passion or grit of the WWE Hall of Famer. Cope ended by declaring that \”I have to do this\” and told Moxley that he\’ll see him in Los Angeles.

It\’s been 14 years since Cope last won a World Champion, with that victory coming during the February 11, 2011, edition of WWE SmackDown. While the WWE Hall of Famer planned on winning his 12th World Championship in WWE upon returning to the ring in 2020, a title victory alluded the then-Edge.

In AEW, Cope is a two-time TNT Champion, though his second reign came to an unfortunate end due to an injury. With Cope on the very of a potential 12th title victory, it remains to be seen if he can win the gold, or will \’the old Jon Moxley\’ prove too much for the Rated-R Superstar.

  • How WWE Broke Its Own Rules For Rhea Ripley Vs. IYO SKY

On the March 3, edition of WWE Raw, IYO SKY won the Women\’s World Title from Rhea Ripley, providing a major shake-up on the Road to WrestleMania 41. Speaking to The Toronto Sun, Natalya recalled gathering with the women\’s division to watch the match and how WWE went against its own rules.

\”We actually watched it from Gorilla… It’s usually off-limits unless you’re about to go out, but Triple H knew how excited we were to see IYO vs. Rhea.\”

Natalya was excited to sit in Gorilla and watch the match up close. After SKY\’s victory, the mood behind the scenes was that of jubilation.

\”When IYO walked back after the match, I was just so excited for her. Everyone was happy.\”

SKY\’s victory has been treated as an upset by some, despite the Japanese star\’s immense in-ring talent. Given Ripley\’s star power and dominance in her previous title reign, many had predicted that \’Mami\’ would retain and walk into WrestleMania 41 as Women\’s World Champion.

Instead, it\’ll be SKY who puts the title on the line against Bianca Belair, the winner of the 2025 Women\’s Elimination Chamber match. While many have predicted that Ripley will still find her way into the match, it remains to be seen if that happens after this stunning title change.

  • WWE 2K25 Includes Cody Rhodes\’ AEW Throne Entrance

The Bloodline and Deadman Editions of WWE 2K25 have been released, giving gamers an opportunity to play the game ahead of the March 14, release of the Standard Edition. Unsurprisingly, Cody Rhodes plays a large role in the game, and fans can experience a throwback to the American Nightmare\’s AEW days.

Fans can unlock the \’Throne Smasher\’ entrance in MyRISE, which as the name suggests, sees Cody destroy a Triple H-inspired throne as part of his entrance. The commentary also alludes to how Rhodes is no stranger to smashing thrones, a nod to his time in AEW.

Rhodes smashed the throne at AEW\’s first pay-per-view, Double or Nothing 2019, using Triple H\’s signature weapon, the sledgehammer. The act at the time divided opinion among fans. While some saw it as an epic way for Cody to take aim at WWE (years before he\’d return,) some found it petty to take aim at Triple H and WWE, three years after Cody had chosen to leave.

Few could have predicted in 2019 that Rhodes would one-day return to WWE and become the company\’s biggest babyface star in a decade or more. While Rhodes\’ AEW days are well and truly in the past, WWE 2K25 shows that Rhodes isn\’t shying away from his previous issues with WWE.

WWE 2K25 is set to release on March 14, with the Deadman and Bloodline Editions of the game already available for eager gamers. With a roster of over 300 playable characters, and DLC already confirmed, this year’s game will be the literal biggest WWE game of all time, and one that will feature plenty from Cody Rhodes.

  • Asuka Ready For WrestleMania in Japan, Godzilla Entrance

WrestleMania has never been held outside North America but fans are eager to see WWE\’s biggest event go international. While fans and wrestlers have spoken at length about WrestleMania heading to the United Kingdom, Asuka is ready to see the Showcase of the Immortals head to her native Japan.

On X, a fan asked Asuka if she\’d rather have her final match at WrestleMania or inside the legendary Tokyo Dome. The former Women\’s Champion wanted both, as well as a special entrance featuring Godzilla.

While Asuka has big plans for a future WrestleMania, who record at the show of shows is surprisingly poor. Despite once being undefeated in WWE for over two years, Asuka remains winless at WrestleMania. Her first defeat in WWE came at WrestleMania 34, which didn\’t just end her winning streak, but started off a new unfortunate streak at the event.

Asuka\’s status at this year\’s WrestleMania remains unclear as the Japanese star has been out of action since May 2024 due to a leg injury. While it remains to be seen when she\’ll be back on our screens, Asuka continues to have fans talking with her social media antics, and her big plans for her retirement match.

  • Why Natalya Wasn\’t Shocked By John Cena\’s WWE Heel Turn

The WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event ended in a truly shocking fashion as John Cena turned heel, aligning himself with The Rock. Speaking to the Toronto Sun, WWE veteran Natalya discussed the turn and why it came as a shock to many.

\”John Cena has granted more Make-A-Wishes than anyone. If you look up ‘babyface’ in the dictionary, his picture is right next to it.\”

Nobody expected this heel turn, Natalya added, unless you watched Total Divas. Reflecting on John\’s often-controlling demeanor on the show, Natalya said that her experience with John on the show made his heel turn less of a surprise.

\”I remember how strict John’s house rules were… He was one of those people who always had a coaster under their cup. So I knew a heel turn was coming, I could feel it a mile away.\”

Fightful Select reports that while early rumors suggested The Rock initially wanted to turn heel alongside Cody Rhodes, Rhodes turned down the offer. There was also a plan for Cena to turn at WrestleMania 41 before WWE moved this shocking betrayal earlier in their plans.

Cena’s shocking victory inside the Elimination Chamber has set the stage for WrestleMania 41, where he will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. With Cena set to return to WWE television on the March 17 edition of Monday Night RAW, fans remain eager to here what John has to say about this turn to the dark side.

  • Lex Luger On WWE Hall of Fame Induction: \’Filled With Gratitude\’

Lex Luger is officially set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and now The Total Package himself has spoken out about the honor. After Triple H announced on March 7 that Luger would be part of the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame class, the wrestling legend took to Twitter/X the following day to share his heartfelt reaction to the support of fans.

Luger’s career is certainly worthy of the Hall of Fame. In WWE, Luger captivated fans as the heel ‘narcissist’ character before becoming an All-American babyface in 1993. Though Luger never won a World Championship in WWE, Lex won the WCW World Title from Hollywood Hogan in 1996, marking Hogan’s first title loss since forming the NWO.

Beyond the ring, Luger’s journey has been one of perseverance. After suffering a spinal stroke in 2007 that left him partially paralyzed, he has battled through adversity, becoming an inspirational figure for fans and fellow wrestlers alike. His induction is not just about his in-ring accomplishments—it’s a recognition of his resilience and personal triumphs.

    WWE Hall of Fame 2025

Luger is the third confirmed name for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025, joining Triple H and Michelle McCool. While The Natural Disasters have been reported for an induction, that has yet to be confimed by WWE. Though a specific date for the Hall of Fame has yet to be confirmed, fans can expect to see Luger take his place among some of wrestling\’s all-time greats this April over WrestleMania week.

  • WWE Topps Card Error Rewrites WrestleMania History

WWE & Topps have partnered once again to produce collectible trading cards which fans are already snatching up. While an incredibly-rare 1/1 triple-autographed card is already proving to be a highly-sought-after commodity, a different card in the set is raising attention for the wrong reasons.

One card in the latest wave celebrates \’Stone Cold\’ Steve Austin and includes a biography about the Texas Rattlesnake. Unfortunately, a production error means that the card claims Austin teamed with Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022. In reality, the two were adversaries on the night and Austin would defeat Owens in his first match in close to two decades.

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"

This isn\’t the first time a WWE trading card has been inaccurate. A few years ago, a card claimed that The Miz\’s eight reigns as Intercontinental Champion were the most of any wrestler. In reality, AEW\’s Chris Jericho holds the record at nine.

Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 41

Talk has grown in recent weeks about Austin potentially being a part of WrestleMania 41. The WWE Hall of Famer has previously confirmed that he will be in Las Vegas this weekend, but has claimed WWE has not contacted him for the Premium Live Event.

With John Cena turning heel and aligning with The Rock, some have predicted that Austin may back up Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. Cena recently teased doing something with Austin via an Instagram post, though as usual, gave no explanation. Whether Austin has a role to play this April or not, fans are eager to see the Rattlesnake, who fought Kevin Owens in 2022, despite what this card may claim.

  • LA Knight Vows to Bring WWE U.S. Title Back to the Light After Win

During the March 7, 2025, edition of WWE SmackDown, LA Knight captured the WWE United States Championship for the second time. In the main event of the Philadelphia show, Knight dethroned Shinsuke Nakamura, who had won the gold from Knight in November 2-2024.

Speaking after the match, Knight vowed to bring the title back to the light.

\”Shinsuke Nakamura you had a nice little reign in the shadows.Hope you enjoyed it but now we\’re bringing it out to the light like nobody else can.\”

Knight\’s words echo a common criticsm of Nakamura\’s reign as champion as he very rarely defended the gold on TV. Nakamura\’s defeat to Knight on SmackDown marked only the second televised title defense for the King of Strong Style. The issue of sporadic title defenses has also been a problem in previous reigns on the main roster including as U.S. Champion and Intercontinental Champion.

Knight is 42 years old, an age when many wrestlers would be looking at winding down in the ring. Reflecting on his long journey to the top, Knight acknowledged having doubts in the past.

\”It was only a few years ago I thought my career was never going to go anywhere. I thought my career was kind of nearing its end and here I am all of a sudden, just taking off. All of a sudden, just with the United States Champion not once, but twice.\”

Rather than nearing its end, LA Knight\’s career continues to blossom with a second U.S. title reign to his name. With WrestleMania 41 approaching, fans can expect big things from the Megastar, including a potential title match at the Showcase of the Immortals.

  • Chelsea Green Is \’Chick Foley\’ With Cactus Jack Tribute

Chelsea Green proved that she\’s \’hardcore\’ by channeling Mick Foley during the March 7, edition of WWE SmackDown. Ahead of her Women\’s United States Championship Street Fight with Michin, Green paid tribute to the WWE Hall of Famer. Not only did Green tape her fists like The Micker, but she wore his signature flannel and a Cactus Jack Dead or Alive shirt, albeit with a Chelsea twist.

On X, Green shared a clip of her match and gave herself a fun, new nickname.

Green retained her title against Michin, once again under controversial circumstances. Just as Michin appeared poised to win, a hooded figure pulled Green from the ring. This person was revealed to be Alba Fyre, who planted Michin with a Canadian Destroyer, allowing Green to get the win.

Fyre\’s U.S. Flag pinned to her collar, as well as her post-match salute, certainly teases that she will be the next member of Green\’s \’cabinet.\’ While there\’s some irony that all three members of this American President-inspired group aren\’t from the U.S., Green may be champion for a long time to come now she has another ally on her side.

  • LA Knight Regains United States Championship On WWE SmackDown

LA Knight is now a two-time WWE United States Champion after regaining the gold on the March 7, edition of WWE SmackDown in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In the show\’s main event, Knight dethroned Shinsuke Nakamura, who had attempted to use the red mist. Nakamura had taken the title from Knight at Survivor Series: WarGames in November 2024.

Knight won a one-night tournament during the previous episode of WWE SmackDown to earn a title match with Nakamura. During the February 28, episode, Knight defeated Santos Escobar in the first round before defeating Carmelo Hayes and Jacob Fatu (who had also won qualifying matches) to become the number one contender. Interestingly, Knight Vs. Nakamura had been promoted before the February 28, episode before being pulled, suggesting WWE has been planning on this week\’s title change for some time.

With WrestleMania 41 close, it\’s possible that Knight will walk into the Showcase of the Immortals as the United States Champion. After fighting hard to regain the title, Knight is ready to take on all-comers on the road to Las Vegas. YEAH!

  • Cody Rhodes To John Cena: \’You Want Some, Come & Get Some\’

At WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto, John Cena shockingly turned heel and attacked Cody Rhodes, marking John\’s first role as a villain since 2002. While neither Cena nor The Rock appeared on SmackDown, Rhodes was part of the show and was hungry for answers.

Cody was subdued during his entrance, even ignoring the \’WHOA\’ and wasted no time in addressing what happened inside Toronto\’s Rogers Centre. Cody shared that when his daughter asked about his face, he told her that he\’d ran into a wall.

This wasn\’t entirely a lie, Rhodes added, as he said that he ran into a wall designed by the Final Boss, his associate, Travis Scott, and, of course, John Cena. The fans booed loudly at the mention of Cena. Cody said that one day, he’ll tell his daughter what actually happened, that a great man who did great things and said he’d never give up, gave up.

Rhodes is confident Cena will have a well-crafted response but argued that there was no justification for John Cena. Cody recalled Cena telling him that “it gets heavier every day” while referencing his title. Ending his promo, Rhodes screamed at Cena to \”come and get some!\” before throwing his mic down.

Rhodes and Cena will battle at WrestleMania 41, where John intends to become a 17-time WWE World Champion. With The Rock and Travis Scott on his side, Cena certainly has the numbers advantage, but Cody Rhodes won\’t go down without a fight.

  • WWE 2K25 Locker Code Unlocks The Rock\’s Action Figure Chararcter

The Rock is already a major part of WWE 2K25, and now the Final Boss has arrived in the game in action figure form. This week, WWE 2K25 shared its first Locker Code. The code is \”ELITEROCK2K25\” and unlocks an Elite The Rock Persona Card! The code expires on March 16. This Code unlocks a special edition action figure version of the Final Boss to use as a playable character in the game.

How to Redeem WWE 2K25 Locker Codes

A WWE 2K25 Locker Code is a promotional code that players can redeem within the game\’s MyFACTION mode. These codes can unlock various rewards, including in-game currency (VC), exclusive card packs, Persona Cards, and other bonuses. These codes are usually time-limited, meaning fans only have a limited window of opportunity to grab these exclusive additions.

To redeem a Locker Code, players should go to MyFACTION mode and select the Locker Codes section. After entering a code, press Start to redeem your reward. Go to Unopened Packs to open the packs and use your new items or characters.

The Rock will be a key part of WWE 2K25 as part of the Bloodline Showcase Mode. Now, fans will get much more Rock for their money if they use this Locker Code.

  • TNA Wrestling Star Announces Exit, Excited For What\’s Next

TNA Wrestling is gearing up for its Sacrifice pay-per-view, but the show will go on without a notable name. Taking to X, Hammerstone shared that he has finished his time with TNA and is a free agent available for bookings.

Hammerstone, a former MLW World Champion, signed with TNA in February 2024 but his time in the ring was hit hard by injuries. At November\’s Turning Point event, Hammestone suffered a knee injury that would result in him undergoing surgery the next month. Hammerstone returned for the February 21, 2025, tapings of TNA iMPACT to face Joe Hendry, in what turned out to be his final match for the promotion.

With Hammerstone\’s career in TNA Wrestling now over, the questions remains as to where he will go next. In 2024, Hammerstone appeared in WWE NXT to face Oba Femi, and its possible that he could appear in the silver brand again soon enough. With his impressive physique and accolades, work shouldn\’t be hard to find for Hammerstone now his TNA tenure has ended.

  • Lex Luger To Be Inducted Into The 2025 WWE Hall of Fame

Lex Luger, an iconic name who cemented his legacy in WWE and World Championship Wrestling, is officially heading to the WWE Hall of Fame. On X, WWE shared a video of Luger learning of his induction during a meeting with WWE Hall of Famer and friend \’Diamond\’ Dallas Page and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

Luger\’s career is certainly worthy of the Hall of Fame. In WWE, Luger captivated fans as the heel \’narcissist\’ character before becoming an All-American babyface in 1993. Though Luger never won a World Championship in WWE, Lex won the WCW World Title from Hollywood Hogan in 1996, marking Hogan\’s first title loss since forming the NWO.

WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025

Luger joins an already-stacked line-up, including Triple H and Michelle McCool. The Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) have been reported for this year\’s class, but yet to be confirmed. The Hall of Fame will take place over WrestleMania week, and while plans are yet to be announced as to where the show will take place, fans will be treated to an incredible night of legendary wrestlers.

  • WWE’s Original Plan For John Cena’s Heel Turn Had a ‘Stone Cold’ Connection

John Cena shocked the world with his heel turn at Elimination Chamber: Toronto, but this was not WWE\’s original plan. Instead, WWE had planned to recreate an iconic, infamous moment from 2001 when \’Stone Cold\’ Steve Austin aligned with Mr. McMahon

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE initially planned for Cena to win the men’s Elimination Chamber match as a babyface. Instead of in Toronto, Cena\’s heel turn would\’ve come at WrestleMania 41, reminiscent of Austin shockingly aligning with McMahon, his sworn on-screen nemesis, at WrestleMania X-Seven.

Why WWE Pulled the Trigger Early

Plans reportedly changed on the day of Elimination Chamber, leading to Cena’s turn happening earlier than expected. The initial script called for Rhodes to reject The Rock\’s request for his \’soul\’ without Cena\’s involvement in the segment.

Dave Meltzer reported that WWE insiders were told the shift was a “late change,” though it’s possible the company had always planned to keep the details under wraps. WWE worked hard to keep Cena\’s heel turn a secret, including Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque overseeing the production of the segment on his own.

As Cena\’s turn did not come at WrestleMania like Austin\’s, his decision to align with the Rock has added an intriguing new layer on the road to WWE\’s annual Supershow. With speculation growing of Austin having a role to play in this angle, all eyes turn to Las Vegas and an epic battle between the American Nightmare and WWE\’s GOAT.

  • Backstage Reaction to Travis Scott in WWE

Travis Scott shacked fans at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 in Toronto, where he attacked Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes alongside The Rock and John Cena. Shortly after the event, reports surfaced claiming that Scott’s punches may have legitimately injured Rhodes, leaving him with a black eye and a ruptured eardrum. Rhodes has dismissed the claims, telling wrestling personality Conrad Thompson that Scott didn\’t touch him, but he did sustain bruising.

    https://twitter.com/travisscottfile/status/1896460838619500945

Scott’s involvement in such a physical role raised questions, particularly given his lack of wrestling experience. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there was \’heat\’ backstage over Scott\’s moment with Rhodes. People backstage were left questioning why Scott was put into that position with the company\’s top star.

During the post-show press conference, The Rock defended the decision to have Scott involved, revealing that he encouraged Scott to make his attack feel impactful. It\’s been reported that most WWE personnel were unaware of Scott\’s involvement until the segment unfolded, despite plans being in motion since January.

    Travis Scott\’s Future in WWE

Despite this incident, fans may be seeing Scott back in the ring soon enough. The rapper has reportedly begun training at a wrestling school and while there\’s no official timeline for an in-ring debut, discussions are happening within WWE about potential matches. Scott himself has expressed a deep passion for the industry, telling Triple H that wrestling might be \”better than performing.\”

Speculation is running rife among fans about Scott competing, with some believing a match with Cena and The Rock against Cody and two allies is coming. Given WWE’s recent success with celebrity wrestlers like Bad Bunny and Logan Paul, Scott could follow a similar path.

Whether he competes or not, Scott\’s role has been cemented in WWE. During Raw\’s debut on Netflix, Scott appeared alongside Jey Uso and his track 4×4 is the show\’s theme song. With his growing relationship with the company, Scott’s presence in WWE may be just beginning, despite some concerns backstage.

  • John Cena Has a \’Stone Cold Soul\’ in Cryptic Instagram Post

John Cena has once again sparked speculation with one of his signature cryptic Instagram posts. Taking to the platform, Cena shared an edited image of \’Stone Cold\’ Steve Austin with a Super Mario mystery block replacing the Rattlesnake\’s head.

Cena’s post comes on the heels of his dramatic heel turn and attack on Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber 2025, where he aligned himself with The Rock. With Cena now set to challenge Rhodes for the title at WrestleMania 41, fans are eager to see whether WWE\’s newly-turned top heel can becomea 17-time World Champion.

John Cena\’s Post: What Does It Mean?

As expected, Cena gave no caption to explain his post, a staple of his Instagram posts. Cena\’s post could be an indication that Austin will play a key role in his pursuit of the Undisputed WWE Championship.

    Stone Cold At WrestleMania 41

Adding fuel to the speculation, Austin has confirmed that he will be in Las Vegas during WrestleMania 41 weekend. However, he has stated that he has not had any formal discussions with WWE regarding an appearance at the event.

Austin has also weighed in on Cena’s heel turn, questioning whether it might actually make him even more popular with fans. With the Rattlesnake always earning a thunderous response from fans, could WWE bring in the Bionic Redneck to ensure Rhodes, not Cena, gets the bigger pop from the fans in Allegiant Stadium?

Austin has a long, documented history with The Rock which could make him an ideal addition to this already-compelling storyline. Revisiting their iconic rivalry would certainly be an act fitting of WrestleMania, as well as a potential face-off between Austin and Cena.

    The Road to WrestleMania 41

WrestleMania 41 will take place on April 19-20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Though questions remain over what role, if any, Austin will play, the involvement of The Rock, the heel turn of John Cena, and the fighting spirit of Cody Rhodes will make this one of the most exciting, unpredictable WrestleManias in recent history.

  • What\’s Next For Mickie James After WWE LFG Exit?

A&E’s WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats) is set to return for a second season, but with a significant coaching change. Michelle McCool will replace Mickie James on the show, which first premiered in February 2025.

The Undertaker, one of the show\’s coaches and McCool\’s husband, played a key role in securing McCool’s spot on the coaching staff. While there is no indication that he directly requested James’ removal, sources suggest his continued involvement in the show was linked to McCool’s inclusion.

    Micke James\’ Response

James, an established name in WWE and TNA Wrestling, has not directly addressed the situation. However, she posted a cryptic message on X, stating, “Nuff said… #NewProfilePic” shortly before news of the coaching change surfaced, fueling speculation that she was aware of the decision in advance.

    What\’s Next?

Despite her departure from WWE LFG, James and her fellow Season 1 coaches are still scheduled to appear together at NXT Roadblock on March 11. Outside of WWE, James serves as Creative Director, Head of Female Talent, and Executive Producer for Ohio Valley Wrestling.

In recent months, James has teased a potential in-ring return. After Roxanne Perez named James as a dream opponent, the veteran responded to the NXT star saying “You gonna make me dust off my working boots?”

Should James wrestle again, fans are eager to see the former Women\’s Champion revisit her 2006 feud with Trish Stratus. With this year marking 25 years since Stratus\’ WWE debut, its possible that the Canadian will face James as part of her return to WWE. James has previously said she would choose Stratus to induct her into the WWE Hall of Fame, further fueling speculation about a reunion or potential feud.

Mickie James & Michelle McCool\’s History

James and McCool feuded in 2009 and 2010 as part of the controversial \’Piggy James\’ angle. The storyline saw McCool and Layla mock James as \’fat,\’ at a time when James was reportedly facing criticism from higher-ups for what they perceived as weight issues. On the Insight podcast earlier this year, McCool expressed regret over the angle, stating that she apologized to James weekly.

McCool\’s recent WWE Hall of Fame induction announcement as well as her role on WWE LFG, have reignited discussions about their past interactions. While there\’s no reports of issues between the two over the change, fans remain eager to see what James does next in the wrestling world.

  • John Cena Is A Heel In Real Life, Claims WWE Hall of Famer

John Cena shocked the world by turning heel at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto, but one WWE Hall of Famer isn\’t surprised by the GOAT\’s dark side. Speaking to The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy Long shared his delight at Cena\’s heel turn.

\”I think this was the best thing John Cena could\’ve ever done. He\’s gonna do a good job with that because that is exactly what he is. He is a heel in real life.\”

Long clarified that this is just his opinion before adding that he\’s \”just speaking\” from his perspective. Though Long didn\’t give any example of real-life tendencies by John, he argued that his experiences with Cena are proof enough.

\”I\’m just speaking, so don\’t go acting stupid and saying stuff. I\’m just saying, I\’ve been around him, I\’ve worked with him.\”

Long\’s comments come in stark contrast to the view many have of John and his efforts both in and out of the ring. Not only has Cena (until recently) been one of of WWE\’s most popular babyfaces ever, but he holds the record for the most Make-A-Wish wishes granted.

As a heel, Cena will challenge Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, where Cena could become a 17-time WWE World Champion. As fans await for John to explain his actions, Teddy Long believes Cena is now in the role that matches the real-life individual.

  • Fraxiom, Cora Jade Appear On TNA iMPACT Ahead Of Title Matches

The March 6, edition of TNA iMPACT saw plenty of crossover with WWE NXT ahead of some huge matches for both promotions. In a video vignette, WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom hyped up their upcoming match with The Hardyz. Fraxiom will challenge the TNA World Tag Team Champions at NXT Roadblock, and said they plan on leaving Madison Square Garden with an extra set of gold.

Fraxiom aren\’t the only names from WWE NXT hoping to hold TNA gold next week. At TNA Sacrifice, Cora Jade will challenge Masha Slamovich for the TNA Knockouts Title. On iMPACT, Jade and Tessa Blanchard launched an attack on Slamovich which was interrupted by Lei Ying Lee.

With NXT Champion Oba Femi also appearing on iMPACT, the show was another sign of the strong relationship between WWE and TNA Wrestling. The upcoming week could prove pivotal in this relationship, with talent from both sides hoping to take gold from the other.

  • Moose Lays Out Oba Femi Ahead Of WWE NXT Title Showdown

Oba Femi and Moose came face-to-face during the March 6, 2025, edition of TNA iMPACT, just days before their highly anticipated showdown at WWE NXT Roadblock. In the ring, Femi acknowledged that Moose had defeated some of the biggest names in the business but said that he isn\’t one of them. Femi vowed that he will leave WWE NXT Roadblock, still the WWE NXT Champion.

Moose fired back with a bold statement, declaring that in just a few days at MSG, he would dethrone \”The Ruler\” and become the face of NXT. Security attempted to keep the pair from coming to blows but Femi dispatched of them one-by-one.

The Sytem arrived to attack Femi and Moose took full advantage of the numbers game. Before the show went off the air, he left Oba laid out in the ring and stood tall, holding both the WWE NXT Championship and the TNA X-Division Championship over his head.

The Femi-Moose showdown is just one example of WWE\’s blossoming relationship with TNA Wrestling. At Roadblock, the TNA World Tag Team Championships will be on the line as The Hardyz put the gold on the line against NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom. Days later at TNA Sacrifice, Cora Jade will challenge for the TNA Knockouts World Championship against Masha Slamovich.

It remains to be seen if Moose can end \”The Ruler\” or if Femi will stand tall at NXT Roadblock. Whatever comes, this will be a hard-hitting match between two of the very top stars of their respective brands.

  • Cody Rhodes Downplays Claims Of Elimination Chamber: Toronto Injury

Travis Scott may have rocked Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber, but if you ask the WWE Champion, he’s just fine, or at least, that’s what he’s telling people. After the PLE reports surfaced that Rhodes suffered a burst eardrum and a black eye from Scott’s attack which saw the music artist strike Cody hard in the side of the head.

Conrad Thompson addressed the situation on Eric Bischoff’s 83 Weeks podcast, and shared that he’d reached out to Cody about the injury, who downplayed the whole thing.

\”I checked on CodyHe replied, ‘Didn’t touch me. I got a wild bruise somehow, though,’ and sent me a picture. And I said, ‘Well damn, I’m glad you’re okay, mostly.’ And he jokingly said, ‘The Horsemen got me.’”

Despite Cody\’s claim that he\’s fine, Thompsons wasn\’t convinced, especially given the fact that footage of Scott making contact with Rhodes has gone viral online.

\”We know that [Cody claiming Scott didn\’t touch him] is not the case—he’s sporting a major black eye right now. And I don’t know if it’s true or not that he burst his eardrum, but buddy, it is a brutal blow that we saw.\”

With The Rock claiming Scott intends to wrestle in WWE, Rhodes may be able to get payback on the music artist soon enough. If Scott competes, he\’ll be the latest to step into the squared circle and follow the likes of Logan Paul and Bad Bunny.

As for Rhodes, he will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena at WrestleMania 41. With Cena turning heel and aligning with The Rock, Rhodes\’ reign as champion has likely never been in graver danger.
