  • How A Damaged Arena Nearly Ended WWE\’s India Supershow

A high-profile showdown between Raj Dhesi and Triple H in India nearly got canceled due to a dangerous in-arena situation. Speaking with Muscle Memory, Dhesi, formerly Jinder Mahal, shared how the show was affected due to the venue.

\”There was a huge crack in the arena. Like, on the side where the bleachers were, there was this giant crack in the wall. They couldn’t sit anybody in that section.\”

Dhesi Vs. Triple H had been promoted heavily for the Indian event as Dhesi has a deep fanbase in the subcontinent. On the night, however, the damage to the arena was was severe enough that WWE officials considered canceling the event.

\”We were lucky that the show went on, because it was possible they could’ve said, ‘We can’t have the show here.’ Of course, safety comes first.\”

Both Dhesi and Triple H were kept busy prior to the event, with WWE\’s CCO being part of media interviews and public appearances. This left the pair scrambling to put a match together late in the game.

\”We didn’t really have time to call anything until intermission. We went over the main parts, the finish, and the rest, he just called in the ring.\”

The match in Dheli saw Triple H get the win, in one of the final in-ring contests for the Game, and the pair shared a sign of respect after the bell. Though Dhesi may have come up short, he remains grateful that he was able to compete with the King of Kings, and that their match was able to go ahead at all.

  • Raj Dhesi On Facing John Cena: \’He Just Listens To The Crowd\’

Facing John Cena is a career highlight for many wrestlers, and in 2017, Raj Dhesi was able to step into the ring with WWE\’s GOAT. In an interview with Muscle Memory, Dhesi (formerly Jinder Mahal,) discussed Cena\’s tendency to call matches in real time rather than planning everything in advance.

\”With John, he doesn’t call a whole lot before. He just listens to the crowd and calls it in the ring. The finish [of our match] being Baron Corbin’s cash-in—we all knew that was going to happen. But other than that, he just called things on the fly.\”

Dhesi and Cena battled on SmackDown in August 2017, giving the then-WWE Champion a chance to work with one of the company\’s biggest-ever stars. In the interview, Dhesi recalled an edict he was given backstage that Cena decided to have fun with.

\”I had always heard from producers, ‘Never do a test of strength. Vince [McMahon] hates it. He thinks it’s stupid.’ So, I’m in the match, and right in the beginning, Cena calls for a test of strength. I’m thinking, ‘Wait, what?’ But I go along with it, and he doesn’t call anything else.\”

Dhesi directly went against what McMahon prefers in matches, an act that could\’ve drawn the ire of the then-Chairman. While the backstage area was silent once Dhesi returned after the match, \”we got the thumbs up from Vince.\”

John Cena will mark the end of his in-ring career in 2025, meaning many wrestlers will unfortunately never have the chance to work with the WWE icon. Seven years after their match, Dhesi is pleased he was able to learn from Big Match John.

\”He’s retiring soon, so I’m glad I got to work with himit was always a huge honor to be in there with John Cena.\”

Cena\’s next match will come at WrestleMania 41, where he intends to become a 17-time WWE World Champion. Dhesi will be among those watching the match closely to see whether his former rival can make history in Las Vegas against Cody Rhodes.

  • Raj Deshi: It Would Take a Check with a Lot of Zeros to Return to WWE

Raj Dhesi is keeping his options open for his pro-wrestling future, whether it be a return to WWE or a move to another promotion. Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm on Muscle Memory, Dhesi made it clear that his decision would be based on both financial and creative considerations.

\”Of course, if it makes sense—creative, business-wise. There have to be enough zeros on a piece of paper for me to sign it. A lot of them.\”

Dhesi, formerly Jinder Mahal, was cut from WWE in 2024. Having wrestled for GCW, AAA, Maple Leaf Pro and more since then, Dhesi highlighted his ability to compete on his own terms.

\”I’ve been very blessed in my career. I had a long career and I invested most of my earnings throughout my years. I became financially literate—I studied money, learned about compound interest, how to invest in the S&P 500, rental properties—so now I just kind of do what I want and have fun.\”

While he remains open to a role in a major promotion, Dhesi appears to be enjoying his time on the independent scene, where he currently holds multiple championships. However, his comments suggest that the right offer could bring him back to the big leagues, potentially even WWE, sooner rather than later.

  • Mandy Rose Shares Staggering Post-WWE Earnings: \’I Basically Make 10x\’

Mandy Rose was controversially cut from WWE in December 2022 after the promotion was made aware of the content shared with her subscribers. On her Power Alphas podcast, Rose discussed her life post-WWE which is far less painful than her time as a Superstar.

\”Paint this picture: I wake up when I want, do what I want, and I don’t have to take bumps or be on the road for 300-plus days.\”

Rose may not be traveling the world taking bumps, but has kept up her online subscription service. Fans are able to pay for exclusive photos and videos of the former NXT Women\’s Champion, which has proven very lucrative.

\”I basically make ten times the amount of money that I made in WWE in one year. Like, that’s crazy.\”

Rose has faced the stigma of producing explicit content that is shared online, but the ex-Superstar isn\’t fazed. On the podcast, she acknowledged that while people \”always want to talk s***,\” she is able to live her life the way she wants and make a fortune doing so.

Rose hasn\’t wrestled since her exit from WWE though a recent online spat with Tiffany Stratton sparked speculation about a return. Last September, Rose admitted to having \”unfinished business\” in the ring, leaving fans of hers hopeful about a return to the squared circle.

In the meantime, Rose will continue to live life how she wishes, which she certainly can afford thanks to her online content. While some may disapprove of what the former NXT Women\’s Champion does, Rose is doing things the way she wants in her professional and personal lives.

  • World\’s Strongest Man Winner Wants WWE Showdown With Logan Paul

Logan Paul has proven his athletic skills in the ring, but now he has found himself the target of a World\’s Strongest Man winner. On Facebook, Eddie Hall, also known as \’The Beast\’ shared his request, stating that \”WWE need to set me up a match with Logan Paul.\”

After taking the bronze in the 2016 World\’s Strongest Man competition, Hall won the contest the following year. From 2011 to 2016, he won the UK\’s Strongest Man competition and won Britain\’s Strongest Man every year from 2014 to 2018. Part of Hall\’s success comes from having Myostatin, also known as the Hercules gene, which allows him to build more muscle mass than the average human being

Hall may have made his name in strongman competitions but he\’s no stranger to combat sports. In 2022, he battled World\’s Strongest Man Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson in a boxing match. In June 2024, he made his MMA debut in a handicap match against social media influencers the Neffati brothers.

As for Paul, he continues to be a fixture of WWE Raw where he has run a foul of AJ Styles. With WrestleMania 41 looming, fans are predicting a showdown between the two at the Showcase of the Immortals. This match will be a battle of two athletically gifted individuals, though Hall hopes that it\’ll be power vs agility in his potential showdown with the former United States Champion.

  • \’Who Knows\’ – Moose Wants CM Punk Match, Claims TNA Feud Was Nixed

TNA X-Division Champion Moose was in the ring at WWE NXT Roadblock and now the powerhouse is ready to get in the ring with CM Punk. Taking to X, Moose shared that there were once plans for himself and Moose to feud over the TNA World Championship. Though that ultimately didn\’t pan out, Moose remained open to a future program with Punk, adding \”Who knows?\”

Moose was spotted multiple times in TNA Wrestling in 2023 during his first suspension from AEW, leading some to speculate he\’d sign with the promotion. Instead, Punk shocked fans with his return to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023, and has been an active part of the company ever since.

With WWE and TNA\’s multi-year partnership, fans shouldn\’t count out CM Punk and Moose locking horns in the ring one day. At Roadblock, Moose came up short against NXT Champion Oba Femi in a match for Femi\’s title.

As for Punk, his Road to WrestleMania 41 took a sharp turn on Raw, with the return of Roman Reigns. All signs are pointing to a triple threat match between Punk, Reigns, and Seth Rollins at WrestleMnaia 41. While this isn\’t the title match Punk had hoped for, it could be what earns him his long-awaited main event spot at WWE\’s biggest show of the year.

  • \’I Can See You Now\’ – Megatron Approves Of John Cena\’s Heel Turn

John Cena shocked the world by turning heel at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto, marking his first role as a villain on WWE since 2003. While fans have been stunned and horrified by the act, the Transformers character Megatron is all for it.

When the Wrestling Mayhem Show visited a recent theme park one of the hosts caught up with the leader of the Decepticons. Given that he is a villain in his own right, Megatron was all for John\’s heel turn.

\”It was always meant to be. I can see you now John, I can see you now. And I\’ve seen what you\’ve been up to and I like what I see.\”

Megatron likes Cena\’s heel turn, but had some words for The Rock. Ending his comments, the Transformer reminded those watching that \”The Final Boss is me,\” before rejecting an attempted fist-bump.

Cena does have a connection to the Transformers universe as he was part of 2018\’s Bumblebee movie. Playing \’Agent Burns\’ Cena is wary of the Decepticons when the villains arrive claiming they want to help the human race. After the Decepticons reveal their true nature and attack humans, Cena\’s character questions how having the name \’the decepticons\’ didn\’t set off any red flags among his commanders.

Cena will be a part of the March 17, edition of WWE Raw in Brussels, Belgium, where fans hope he will explain his actions. Cena will battle Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania, where he intends to become a 17-time WWE World Champion.

  • Naomi References AEW In Scathing Attack on Jade Cargill

On the March 7, edition of WWE SmackDown, Naomi confirmed that she attacked Jade Cargill, claiming that she did it for herself and Bianca Belair. When the EST rejected Naomi and her reasoning, the Glow confirmed her heel turn, going as far as to call Belair an \”ungrateful b****.\”

Taking to X, Naomi went further with her heel role in a nod to Jade Cargill\’s past. After Jade shared a new profile pic, Naomi warned her former ally that she\’ll \”send your jacked big back raggedy ass back to where you came from\” once her neck is healed.

Where Cargill came from is of course, AEW, though Naomi stopped short of mentioning WWE\’s chief rival by name. This tweet, however, shows WWE\’s growing willingness to acknowledge their competition. In NXT, Ricky Saints can often be found sharing segments with fellow AEW alum, including Ethan Page during WWE NXT Roadblock.

Cargill and Naomi are destined to compete in the ring, with many predicting a showdown this April at WrestleMania 41. With Belair occupied with the Women\’s World Title match at the Show of Shows, the event could be where Naomi and Cargill settle their issues once and for all.

  • WWE Undoes More Vince McMahon Era Name Changes After Seth Rollins

As previously reported, Seth Rollins has undergone a name change, as the \’Freakin\’ part of his name has been ditched. The change was first spotted in the graphics for his entrance and has now been confirmed on WWE programming.

Rollins isn\’t the only WWE Superstar, however, who has undergone a change. On WWE.com, Bronson Reed has lost the \’Big\’ adjective. Similarly, Dominik Mysterio, for all his work as a heel since turning on his father in 2022, is no longer \’Dirty.\’

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"

Reed\’s name was changed in August 2023 to reflect the size of the Australian powerhouse. Similarly, Dominik Mysterio\’s name was changed in 2023. Both changes came about during Vince McMahon\’s return to WWE. On the Insight podcast, Seth Rollins shared that the decision to add \’Freakin\’ to his name came directly from McMahon himself.

WWE undoing these changes demonstrates the company\’s continued efforts to distance themselves from its former chairman, and this isn\’t the first time this has happened. In 2022, after McMahon\’s first exit from WWE, Theory became Austin Theory once more, undoing a McMahon edict that prevented wrestlers from using any part of their real names on TV. McMahon stepped down from WWE for the second time in January 2024 over the allegations made by Janel Grant. McMahon has denied all accusations against him and claims his relationship with Grant was entirely consensual.

McMahon reportedly has plans to launch an entertainment company once the Grant lawsuit is finished, with questions remaining as to whether a new wrestling company could be coming. If so, McMahon will have free reign to call his talent whatever he wants, but in WWE, his changes are becoming a thing of the past.

  • The Hardyz Eye NXT Tag Title Match After Roadblock Win

At WWE NXT Roadblock 2025, TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardyz retained their gold against WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom. In a post-match interview, Jeff Hardy praised their opponents, a team which has taken WWE by storm.

\”Their human hearts are more like rocket-boosters. That’s the fastest team I’ve ever been in the ring with.\”

Jeff then questioned whether he and his brother now have a shot at the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships. Matt was excited at the prospect of adding the NXT titles to their trophy cabinet.

\”Unfortunately, the NXT Titles weren’t on the line. Maybe next time, the NXT titles will be on the line because that is something The Hardys do not have on their list of gold.\”

The Hardyz wrapped up by praising the partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling, adding that they are excited to be a part of it. The partnership that began in 2024 was made official in 2025 with a multi-year deal being signed by the two sides.

The Hardyz have held tag gold all over the world, but the NXT Tag Team Championships are titles that the brothers are yet to win. Clearly, Matt and Jeff plan on changing that soon enough, meaning fans shouldn\’t count out seeing The Hardyz and Fraxiom back in the ring together soon enough.

  • \’Whoever, Whenever, Wherever\’ – Oba Femi Ready For War After NXT Roadblock

At WWE NXT Roadblock, NXT Champion Oba Femi retained his title in a hard-hitting showdown with TNA X-Division Champion Moose. After the match, Femi was asked how it felt competing inside The Theatre at Madison Square Garden.

\”It was great to feel the energy. They [the fans in attendance] felt my energy and we were ready to rock. It was one hell of a collision but the right man came out on top.\”

With Moose defeated, Femi will continue to seek out new challengers. The Ruler of NXT shared that he isn\’t picky when it comes to taking on future opponents.

\”Whoever, whenever, wherever. I\’m ready for all of them.\”

Femi Vs. Moose is the latest example of the WWE-TNA partnership which has seen talent from both sides \’cross the line.\’ Joe Hendry, The Rascalz, Jordynne Grace, and the No Quarter Catch Crew are just some of the names who have appeared for another promotion. NXT Roadblock 2025 also saw TNA World Tag Team Champions the Hardyz in action, as they retained their gold against NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom.

Oba Femi has held the NXT Championship since January and is proving to be a dominant champion. After breaking the record for the longest reign as NXT North American Champion in 2024, Femi doesn\’t plan on losing his title anytime soon.

  • \’You Never Know\’ – Seth Rollins Talks Shield Reunion

Seth Rollins began his WWE main roster career alongside Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley when The Shield debuted in 2012. Since Moxley left WWE in 2019, fans have often speculated about a potential reunion before the three men retire from the ring.

Speaking with Brandon Tierney and Sal Licata on WFAN, Rollins was asked if The Shield could reunite in the future.

“I mean, look, one of our guys is over in the other company. So he ain’t coming. And Roman Reigns and I are here for life. Look, our paths are gonna be intertwined.\”

Rollins and Reigns will \”crisscross\” until both men are retired, Rollins added. The former Universal Champion then acknowledged the unpredictable nature of prowrestling.

\”You never know what WrestleMania is going to look like. You never know what next month is going to look like. Could be anytime.\”

While fans shouldn\’t expect the Hounds of Justice to reunite anytime soon, audiences know to never say never in professional wrestling. With WrestleMania 41 looming, however, and reports of a triple threat match including CM Punk, it appears that Rollins and Reigns will next share the ring, not as allies, but as fierce enemies.

  • \’They Know He\’s A Steiner\’ – Scott Steiner Talks Bron Breakker\’s Name

Since arriving in WWE in 2021, Bron Breakker has made a name for himself in WWE and on the main roster. Despite the impressive record of the former NXT Champion and current Intercontinental Champion, many fans believe that Breakker should be using the Steiner name used by his father Rick and uncle Scott.

On the Insight podcast, Scott discussed his nephew\’s name. While Bron may never use the Steiner name, Scott is pleased that WWE isn\’t shying away from his lineage.

\”Well they never shied away from that because he introduced us at the Hall of Fame. So for whatever reason they used Bron Breakker, but they know he\’s a Steiner.\”

Scott\’s son Brock could be joining his cousin on WWE TV after recently signing an NIL contract. While Scott can\’t guarantee the future, he believes the Steiner name will live on in WWE.

\”Brock would probably use a Steiner name. I\’m not sure if it would be Brock, but it would be Steiner.\”

Whatever name Bron Breakker uses, his success in WWE in the four years since he arrived has proved undeniable. Already the Intercontinental Champion, many predict it is just a matter of time before Scott\’s nephew enters the World Title picture. With WrestleMania 41 looming, fans can expect big things in Las Vegas for Bron Breakker, no matter what name fans know him for.

  • Scott Steiner: Harvard Professor Proved Math Promo Is Correct

Of all of Scott Steiner\’s many promos in wrestling, few stand out (for better or worse) than his \’Steiner Math\’ promo ahead of TNA Sacrifice 2008. On the Insight podcast, Steiner shared the origins of the infamous speech.

\”I just thought about it. I knew maybe an hour before I start thinking about it, they told me I had to do an interview.\”

A graduate of a highly educated university (the University of Michigan) Steiner claimed the promo, which guaranteed him a 141 2/3% chance of victory, made sense. Fans don\’t just have to take Steiner\’s word for it, as an alleged Harvard professor on X (fka Twitter) agrees.

\”There\’s a Harvard professor, I don\’t know, because everything you read on Twitter is 100% true, right? So he checked the numbers said, yeah, they added up.\”

Whoever this Harvard professor is, they may want to get their qualifications checked. Despite the math proving Steiner was guaranteed to win the triple-threat at TNA Sacrifice, he came up short against World Champion Samoa Joe in a match that included Frankie Kazarian.

Almost 17 years later, Steiner\’s promo remains a hit with fans, showing the unpredictable and often hilarious side of the WWE Hall of Famer. To this day, Steiner continues to be a larger-than-life name in wrestling with a legacy that can\’t be subtracted from.

  • \’A Special Gal\’ – Francesca Eastwood On Portraying Mae Young in Queen of the Ring

The Mildred Burke biopic Queen of the Ring is now in cinemas, promising fans an exciting look into the early days of women\’s wrestling. Speaking to TNA Wrestling, Francesca Eastwood, who portrays a prime-of-her-career Mae Young, discussed being inspired by the WWE Hall of Famer.

\”She was wrestling into her 70s and 80s. I find that to be the driving force of everything. To be that type of person, you\’ve got to be a special gal.\”

Eastwood, daughter of Clint Eastwood, had no wrestling experience prior to filming, and was \”blessed\” with the opportunity to learn stunts in Ohio Valley Wrestling. While Eastwood knew the role was going to be demanding, her mind couldn\’t prepare her for how tough it\’d be.

\”This profession wrestling] is so physically challenging but, you know, that\’s kinda why I\’m an actress. I\’m into that.\”

Fortunately for Eastwood, the camraderie of those working on Queen of the Ring proved to be second to none. Summing up her experience shooting the movie and dipping her toe into the world of professional wrestling, Eastwood called it \”a hell of a ride!\”

Eastwood is part of an impressive cast for Queen of the Ring which stars Emily Bett Rickards (Arrow) as Burke. Wrestling names involved in the film include \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm as Clara Mortensen, Trinity \’Naomi\’ Fatu as Ethel Johnson, Britt Baker as Debbie Nichols, and Kailey \’Kamille\’ Farmer as June Byers. Jim Cornette plays an NWA Commissioner.

  • Raquel Rodriguez Predicts Double-Champion Status After WWE Raw Win

During the March 10, edition of WWE Raw, Raquel Rodriguez defeated Bayley to become the number one contender for the Women\’s Intercontinental Championship. Speaking in a WWE Raw Digital Exclusive, Rodriguez was confident in her chances against The Valkyrie.

\”You know what\’s gonna happen to Lyra? The same thing that happened to Bayley tonight. So, yeah, I am very excited because pretty soon I\’m gonna have have two of these bad boys [gestures to her Women\’s Tag Team Title belt.]\”

Raquel isn\’t the only Judgment Day member hoping to become a double champion. In the video, Liv Morgan said that both she and Raquel will soon be double champions. Morgan clearly has plans to regain the WWE Women\’s World Championship, a title she lost back in January to Rhea Ripley.

More Gold for the Judgment Day?

The Judgment Day has held plenty of titles over the years, including the Women\’s World Title, WWE Tag Team Titles, Women\’s Tag Team Titles, NXT North American Championship and Money in the Bank. In addition to Rodriguez\’s quest to win the Women\’s Intercontinental Title, the Men\’s title could also soon be with the group. On Raw, Dominik Mysterio shared that he had acquired a title match for Finn Balor against Bron Breakker for the March 17, Raw in Brussels, Belgium.

Whether The Judgment Day wins either Intercontinental Championship remains to be seen but the faction has gold in its sights. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on the Judgment Day and their pursuit of more championship titles in WWE.

  • GUNTHER Calls WrestleMania A Mercy-Killing Ahead of Jey Uso Showdown

During the March 10, edition of WWE Raw, Jey Uso defeated Grayson Waller and was able to fend off an attack by A-Town Down Under after the match. However, GUNTHER was able to get a surprise ambush on \’Main Event Jey\’ and the segment ended with the World Heavyweight Champion standing tall.

Speaking in a WWE Raw Digital Exclusive after the segment, GUNTHER was asked about Jey\’s resiliency, a trait the Ring General believes his WrestleMania 41 adversary does not possess.

“Resiliency? The only one resilient here is me because I uphold the highest standard for myself and the World Heavyweight Championship.\”

GUNTHER continued to berate Jey as the King of the Ring claimed he\’s beaten stronger, better, wrestlers than Jey. While Hey may have enjoyed \”promoting that stupid four-letter catchphrase,\” GUNTHER had four letters in mind for Uso this April inside Allegiant Stadium.

\”When you walk into Las Vegas, it’s not gonna be the highlight of a sad twenty-year, play the second fiddle career. It’s gonna be the mercy killing of the Jey Uso experiment. Four letters, one word. Hell.\”

Jey earned a title match by winning the 2025 Men\’s Royal Rumble match in one of the most shocking wins in the history of the match-type. While Jey is ready to bring the \’Yeet Army\’ to Las Vegas, GUNTHER is ready to spoil the fun of Uso and his fans this April at WrestleMania 41.

  • Andrew Schulz Vows Payback On Logan Paul After WWE Raw In MSG

On the March 10, edition of WWE Raw from MSG, Logan Paul got physical with comedian and proud New Yorker Andrew Schulz. Things could\’ve gone from bad for worse for Schulz had AJ Styles not made the save in the World\’s Most Famous Arena.

Speaking in a WWE Raw Digital Exclusive after the show, Schulz recalled once being friends with Paul and talked about the pair appearing on one another\’s podcasts. Despite this, Schulz believes his former friend isn\’t right for wrestling, especially with full-time talent hungry for an oppoetunity.

\”We’re not here to see Logan parade around as this part-time wrestler-slash-Pokémon card collector, whatever the hell he does. There are people who have dedicated their lives to this s***, and I want to see them.\”

Schulz concluded by taking aim at Paul once more for being a part-timer. The comedian then claimed that he\’ll cross paths with the former U.S. Champion once again.

“I’m gonna bump into Logan again, and this time, we’re gonna be a little bit more prepared, and it’s gonna be a little bit less cordial. That’s all I’m trying to say.\”

Despite Schulz\’s threat, all signs point towards Paul Vs. Styles at WrestleMania 41. While the part-time schedule and the attitude of Logan Paul continues to anger many, his skills in the ring have put the content-creator in line for a showdown against one of wrestling\’s most \’Phenomenal\’ stars.

  • Cody Rhodes: John Cena\’s 17th WWE World Title is a Delusion

Cody Rhodes isn’t backing down from John Cena, and he made that clear during his promo on the March 10 episode of WWE Raw. Kicking off the second hour of the show, Rhodes wasted no time calling out Cena, first informing the crowd that Cena wasn’t in the building. Addressing the WWE icon\’s heel turn, Rhodes shared that he doesn\’t have an issue with the turn, but Cena\’s actions since then.

“I don’t begrudge Cena for siding with The Rock. What I take issue with are his positive messages on social media—like a clueless child who needs to be yelled at by a teacher.”

Rhodes didn\’t stop there, calling John\’s aspiration to a 17th WWE World Championship \”One man\’s fantasy and delusion.\” Wrapping up, Rhodes told the fans in New York City, as well as Cena, that \”I am now the captain of WWE.

The war of words between Rhodes and Cena is only intensifying, and with the two set to come face-to-face on the March 17 episode of WWE Raw, tensions could escalate even further. Cena and Rhodes will battle at WrestleMania 41 in one of the most anticipated title matches in years.

  • Update On Injuries After AEW Revolution 2025

AEW Revolution 2025 proved to be a massive event for Tony Khan\’s promotion, though some stars left LA worse for wear. Swerve Strickland suffered a burst eardrum during his match with Ricochet and he\’s not the only hurting.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shared that Momo Watanabe left the arena on crutches and appears to be dealing with an ankle injury. Watanabe unsuccessfully challenged Mercedes Moné for the AEW TBS Championship. Moné didn\’t leave the match unscathed either and is dealing with a bruised larynx, the report adds.

Will Ospreay was seen limping after his steel cage match victory with Kyle Fletcher. Meltzer shared that despite concerns about a hip injury, sources shared that it wasn\’t anything serious. MJF landed on his face during his match with \’Hangman\’ Adam Page, but there is no word on him being hurt.

AEW Revolution went off the air with Jon Moxley retaining the AEW World Championship, only to be attacked by Swerve Strickland. With Strickland winning a shot at the AEW World title at the pay-per-view, fans can expect the pair to share the ring in the near future.

  • Butterbean To Make Wrestling Return in April After 13 Years

Eric \’Butterbean\’ Esch will be making his return to the wrestling world for the first time in over a dozen years as part of the WrestleMania 41 festivities. Butterbean will face Minoru Suzuki at the Mark Hitchcock Memorial WrestleCon Supershow on April 17. Adding to the star power of the match, Dan \’The Beast\’ Severn will serve as the special guest enforcer.

Though best known for his role in boxing, Butterbean also has a legacy in professional wrestling. His most famous wrestling appearance came at WrestleMania XV in 1999 where he defeated Brawl for All winner Bart Gunn. Butterbean knocked out Gunn in just 35 seconds, effectively ending plans for Gunn to be pushed in the promotion.

Beyond WWE, Butterbean made sporadic appearances in the wrestling world, including a stint in Japan with promotions like NJPW and PRIDE. He was also a part of Hulk Hogan\’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling but came up short on the reality show to Dennis Rodman, a friend of Hogan and nWo alum. Butterbean\’s most recent match to date came in Guyana in March 2012, where he defeated Cliff Compton, better known to WWE fans as Domino.

Butterbean\’s return to action will be just one highlight of WrestleMania week which will see WWE and other promotions descend on Las Vegas. Stay tuned to SEScoops for all the latest from the festivities in Sin City set to take place this April.

  • Ex-WWE Star Gable Steveson Makes History With Heavyweight Win

Gable Steveson\’s WWE career may not have gone as intended, but the former NXT Superstar is winning big outside of the promotion. During the recent Big Ten Wrestling Championships, Steveson, competing for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, defeated Penn State\’s Greg Kerkvliet. This victory marked Steveson\’s fourth Big Ten title, a record in the heavyweight division.

Steveson joined WWE in 2021 shortly after his Olympic Gold Medal victory in that year\’s Summer Games in Tokyo, Japan. Instantly treated as a huge signing, Steveson was drafted to Raw that same year, the first (and only) Superstar to be drafted before having a match.

Cracks began showing in Steveson\’s WWE journey soon after with reports that he was not progressing at the speed the company had hoped. Rather than taking naturally like other Olympians such as Kurt Angle and Chad Gable, Steveson wouldn\’t compete until 2023 as part of NXT. After what many felt was an underwhelming match with Baron Corbin, Steveson was cut from WWE in 2024 and has yet to resurface in pro wrestling.

Steveson has shown interest in UFC and a return to the Olympics, though has yet to make an official move towards either. While pro-wrestling may not have been the Gold Medalist\’s calling, his historic win proves he\’s always ready to compete at a high level.

  • Will Ospreay Is Ready To Be \’The Guy\’ After AEW Revolution Win

At AEW Revolution, Will Ospreay defeated his former friend Kyle Feltcher in a brutal and bloodied Steel Cage match. Speaking backstage after the bout, Ospreay reflected on hitting a Spanish Fly from the top of the cage.

\”I\’ve never been more scared in my entire life. I\’m being honest… Cling onto him before jumping off a 20-foot steel cage. Planting him into the ground.\”

Moments before the spot, Fletcher looked into Ospreay\’s eyes and told him he hates his former friend, a comment that broke the heart of the Aerial Asssassin. Ospreay recalled Fletcher being one of the first people he told about Will\’s girlfriend, who would go on to become his wife.

With his feud with Fletcher seemingly over, Ospreay is looking to the future. Staring at a production truck emblazoned with the AEW logo, the British wrestler set his sights at the very top of the roster.

\”I have a mission. I have always wanted to be the guy, I\’ve always wanted the responsibility. I\’ve always wanted the ball.\”

Expectations have always been high for Ospreay ever since he first appeared for AEW. After officially signing in 2024, Ospreay is ready to be the guy on a path that could lead him to the AEW World Championship.

  • Backstage Response to Kayfabe-Breaking Line At AEW Revolution

AEW Revolution saw several stars from Queen of the Ring in attendance, but Damaris Lewis\’ comments at the pay-per-view drew attention for all the wrong reasons. Speaking about learning the wrestling business for the Mildred Burke biopic, Lewis shattered kayfabe during Revolution.

“You all know you are going to win before everybody else does, so thank you for teaching me that.\”

The comments from Lewis did not go unnoticed by those backstaged. According to Fightful Select, there were “audible groans” behind the scenes. One source noted that while Lewis likely didn\’t mean to disrespect the business, her comment \”wasn\’t exactly received well.\”

Lewis, who plays Babs Wingo in the biopic, was joined by co-star Kelli Berglund, who portrays Nell Stewart, as well as director Ash Avildsen. Berglund had a much more acceptable response when asked if she\’d ever consider stepping foot in the ring for real.

\”You know what, give me a couple of months to really train. I could be down. Once you learn about it, you’re so invested.\”

As for Lewis, her comments may have been a \’secret\’ wrestling fans are well aware of, but saying it on pay-per-view is hardly a good look. Queen of the Ring is now in cinemas where fans can see Lewis, Berglund, and others in action.

  • Toni Storm Misses Mariah May After AEW Revolution: \’Farewell My Love\’

At AEW Revolution 2025, \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm retained the AEW Women\’s World Championship against Mariah May, delivering a \’Hollywood Ending\’ in Los Angeles. Speaking after the match, a bloodied and emotion Storm paid tribute to May, saying \”I miss her aleady. Farewell my love\” before blowing a kiss.

Toni Storm and Mariah May held nothing back in Los Angeles with a series of weapons that made sense given the history between the pair. These include using a Champagne bottle as well as the shoe that started their feud off in mid-2024. The finish saw Storm use the shoe as a weapon before driving May through a Hollywood-inspired table with a Storm Zero for the hard-earned and emotional victory

Storm\’s victory over May marks the pair\’s third high-profile match on pay-per-view. At AEW All In: London, May won the Women\’s World Title from her former mentor. Storm won the title back at Grand Slam: Australia, making Storm the first four-time Women\’s World Champion.

With their feud over, questions remain as to who will be next to challenge Storm and where May goes from here. While those questions will be answered in due time, Storm is mourning the end of her friendship and rivalry with May for the time being.
