  • \’This Is My Title!\’: IYO SKY Celebrates Women\’s World Championship Win

IYO SKY was at a loss for words after capturing the WWE Women\’s World Championship during the main event of the March 3, edition of WWE Raw. SKY captured the gold by dethroning Rhea Ripley in a result many are calling a major upset, given Ripley\’s on-screen domiance.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley caught up with the new champion, who was asked for her immediate reaction to her victory.

\”I have no words anymore. It\’s so surprising but I made it and the crowd gave a great reaction to me! Oh my gosh, and also I\’m going to WrestleMania now.\”

When asked how she plans to navigate the road to WrestleMania as champion, SKY vowed to continue to do her best and will always believe in herself. As champion, SKY\’s future will see her face Bianca Belair, the winner of the 2025 Women\’s Elimination Chamber matchm in Las Vegas.

\”She\’s so strong, she\’s muscular. Literally the EST. But I am the champ and I am going to defend the title. This is my title!\”

WrestleMania will mark SKY\’s second year in a row entering WrestleMania as champion but the show will be extra special this time around. This April, SKY\’s family, including her parents, will make the trip from Japan to Las Vegas to see SKY walk into WrestleMania as champion.

SKY\’s epic victory comes at the expense of Rhea Ripley, who was distraught after losing the gold mere weeks ahead of WrestleMania. Nevertheless, it is now the Genius of the Sky who will walk into Allegiant Stadium with the WWE Women\’s World Title around her waist.

  • IYO SKY Wins Women\’s World Title, Will Face Bianca Belair At WrestleMania 41

IYO SKY will walk into WrestleMania as a champion for the second time in a row, after capturing the Women\’s World Championship on Raw. During the main event of the March 3, edition of Raw, SKY dethroned Ripley to win her second singles title on the main roster.

Despite SKY\’s immense skill, many are seeing this victory as a major upset given the high-profile of Rhea Ripley. Many had assumed that it\’d be Ripley Vs. Bianca Belair, the winner of the 2025 Women\’s Elimination Chamber match, at WrestleMania 41. Not only are Mami and the EST two of WWE\’s most popular female talents, but they both arrived on WWE\’s main roster around the same time. Instead, it will be SKY who puts gold on the line against Bianca Belair at WrestleMania.

This title change raises questions as to what Rhea Ripley\’s creative direction for WrestleMania looks like. Some fans have speculated on her finding a way into the title match, making it a triple-threat contest. Some believe Ripley could resume her feud with Liv Morgan, this time for the Women\’s Tag Team Championships. Whatever happens, the Road to WrestleMania sure got a lot more complicated during the March 3, 2025, edition of WWE Raw.

  • Jey Uso: GUNTHER Has Awoken A Beast In Me

World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER has awoken a beast in Jey Uso, according to the 2025 Men\’s Royal Rumble winner. On the March 3, 2025, edition of WWE Raw, GUNTHER defeated Otis. Jey tried to prevent a post-match attack by the champion, but A-Town Down Under attacked him before GUNTHER choked Jey out.

Later in the show, Jey spoke with Cathy Kelley and admitted that all he\’s heard is that \”he can\’t do it.\” He stated that Gunther had him doubting himself, and his back was against the wall. Jey recalled GUNTHER warning him of weeks of hell, but is now more determinend than ever to become World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania. GUNTHER may have put him to sleep on Raw, but the Austrian has awoken a beat, according to Main Event Jey.

Jey\’s unlikely journey to the World Heavyweight Championship scene has sparked a debate among fans with fans both for and against the push of the former tag-team star. Nevetheless, Jey Uso will challenge for the gold this April, and plans to show the world, and GUNTHER, what the beast inside him is capable of.

  • Rhea Ripley Rated 96 in WWE 2K25 – Tied With Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns

Rhea Ripley has proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the ring, both in real life and in WWE 2K25. Ahead of the game\’s release on March 14 (March 7 for the Bloodline & Deadman Editions) it has been revealed that Ripley has a 96 rating in WWE 2K25.

This rating is the highest rating for any woman, past or present, in WWE 2K25, a testament to the high standing of Ripley on the promotion\’s proverbial totempole. Not only is \’Mami\’ on top of the women, but she shares having a 96 rating with two of WWE\’s biggest current stars: Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and the OTC Roman Reigns.

Ripley\’s high rating in WWE 2K25 is just the latest sign of how the Australian has taken the world of WWE video games by storm. Not only is Ripley a regular pick to play as among gamers, but she and Bianca Belair shared the cover for WWE 2K24\’s Special Edition, the first all-female cover for a WWE video game.

After recapturing the Women\’s World Championship in January and this high ranking, 2025 is already off to a strong start for Rhea Ripley. As WrestleMania 41 draws near, fans can expect to see plenty of Mami, both in the ring on TV, and in the ring in WWE 2K25.

  • Liv Morgan Breaks Unfortunate Record At Elimination Chamber: Toronto

Liv Morgan not only failed to earn a Women\’s World Title match at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto, but she also set a rather unfortunate record. In the show\’s opening match, Morgan was one of those who came up short in the Women\’s Elimination Chamber Match, which was won by Bianca Belair.

With this defeat, Morgan has broken the record for the most times competing in the Elimination Chamber without ever getting a victory. The match marked Liv\’s sixth time losing inside the hellish structure, a match she first competed in back in 2018. Morgan does hold another, more fortunate record, as she is tied for the most eliminations (5) alongside Shayna Baszler.

H/T to @WWEStats for uncovering this stat. Stay tuned to SEScoops for more interesting wrestling facts and statistics.

With this setback, it remains to be seen what Liv\’s direction is for WrestleMania 41. As the reigning (and record-breaking three-time) WWE Women\’s Tag Team Champions, many predict that Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez will put their titles on the line at the two-night event this April. As for who would challenge the pair, that remains a mystery, especially with Jade Cargill seemingly ending her trio with Bianca Belair and Naomi.

2024 proved to be a banner year for Liv Morgan, who spent much of the past year as Women\’s World Champion. While Morgan may not have won inside the Elimination Chamber, expectations remain high for the Judgment Day member for the remainder of this year.

  • Jey Uso on His Solo Success: \’My Brother\’s Living It With Me, He\’s There With Me\’

Jey Uso\’s unlikely singles run has propelled him to the top of WWE\’s card, but despite all that\’s come, his connection to his brother remains unbreakable. During an emotional moment in his CBS Sports interview, Jey visibly choked up when Shak Mahjouri asked about Jimmy’s role in all that has happened.

“My brother’s living it with me. He’s there with me, man.”

An emotional Jey collected himself to reflect on his family, knowing that his brother will support him no matter what happens. Jey shared that \”No matter how high you get, you’ll always meet the same people on your way down. Be kind to everyone, be nice, be respectful.”

As a tag-team, Jimmy and Jey dominated WWE\’s tag-team division for over a decade, with today, March 3, 2025, marking eleven years since their first WWE Tag Team Championship victory. While some may expect Jimmy to be jealous of Jey\’s skyrocketing singles career, but that is not the case.

“Man, my brother’s doing his thing, and I’m doing mine. But that’s my brother, man. No matter what, we’re in this together.”

In a business where friendships often go as quickly as they come, the bond between Jimmy and Jey remains as strong as ever, even with Jey\’s singles success. As he prepares for the biggest match of his career at WrestleMania 41, Jey knows his brother is always by his side, both in and out of the ring.

  • Zilla Fatu: \’My Name Will Be Separated From My Family\’

Expectations are high for Zilla Fatu in WWE, but the son of Umaga is in no hurry to sign, or be associated with The Bloodline. Speaking to The Show on Riverwest Radio, Fatu was asked about his goals in the wrestling business.

\”Obviously, getting some more gold. I\’m not in no rush to really get anywhere or sign anywhere. I\’m literally just trying to figure out who I am.\”

Zilla is part of the legendary Anoa\’i wrestling family that includes wrestling heavyweights including Roman Reigns, The Rock, The Usos, Yokozuna, and his late father. Despite his connection to some of wrestling\’s all-time greats, Fatu intends to be his own man in the ring.

\”Five years from now, my name will be separated from my family. I just want to have people just focus on Zilla Fatu. That\’s it.\”

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2024/12/\"Zella
    Zilla Fatu / Facebook

Fatu has yet to sign with WWE, though many believe it is just a matter of time. Already the Reality of Wrestling World Champion, Zilla has many in WWE backing him, including his mentor Booker T. Zilla was also spotted at SummerSlam 2024, further fuelling speculation of a WWE role, though didn\’t do anything at the PLE outside of being a fan.

Zilla Fatu\’s future in the ring remains to be decided, but he\’s ready to stand on his own merits. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Zilla and his longterm goals inside the squared circle.

  • WWE 2K25: Brand New Features Coming To MyGM Mode

WWE 2K25 is just days away from hitting shelves and MyGM is bound to prove popular among players wanting to craft their own brands. The feature has been a staple of WWE 2K video games for years but the latest instalment has some brand-new features.

When newLegacyInc\’s John Blud spoke with Tyson Hiener, Lead Designer of MyGM mode for WWE 2K25, the pair discussed some of the new features in the game. Tyson shared that for the first time ever, MyGM will be online, allowing for the host and three other players to battle as General Managers for ratings surpremacy.

    MyGM Online

MyGM online will play similarly to playing locally, but with some key features missing. The option to use custom GMs and custom rosters will not be possible when playing online. Similarly, matches cannot be played or spectated online.

While certain features won\’t be available online, that doesn\’t mean fans will never get the chance to play these features with their pals. If players who usually play online are able to meet, they will be able to use their online saves as part of local play.

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"
WWE 2K25 will have an official way for fans to compete in MyGM online for the first time ever.

    Playable GMs

The User Interface for MyGM has been \”completely revamped\” thanks to the addition of several new playable General Managers. Each GM comes with their own abilities. When asked if more GMs would be available, Tyson said he couldn\’t say.

    A Brand New Brand

Hopeful GMs will be able to have control over SmackDown, Raw, WWE NXT, NXT 2.0, WCW, ECW, and for the first-time ever, NXT Mutiny. This never-before-seen brand will tie into the MyRise storyline. Putting any speculation to bed, Hiener made clear that this is a fictional brand and fans shouldn\’t expect it on real-life WWE programming.

MyGM mode will include WWE NXT Mutiny, a fictional brand that will have a large role in the game.

WWE 2K25 promises the largest roster in any WWE video game, with over 300 playable characters and more already teased. With MyGM mode, players will have the chance to create the show of their dreams and battle for supremacy both online and in local play.

WWE 2K25 releases March 14. The Deadman and Bloodline Editions of the game will release on March 7.

  • Jade Cargill Is Going Solo: \’I\’ve Played By The Rules Long Enough\’

Jade Cargill is back in WWE and the former Women\’s Tag Team Champion is through playing by the rules. At Elimination Chamber: Toronto, Cargill returned to destroy the woman she believes attacked her in November of last year: Naomi.

In a video on X, which was directed by NXT talent and fellow AEW alum Ricky Saints, Cargill reflected on her place within WWE.

“There are wolves in the shape of women all around me. I can see the way they look into my eyes. I am not them, and they are not me. I weathered every storm that was meant to break me.\”

Cargill isn\’t in WWE to be liked, but is here because she\’s earned it. Looking to the future, Jade is through doing things for other, seemingly ending her partnership with Naomi and Bianca Belair.

\”I will not strike myself for anyone. Don’t mistake my grace for weakness. I’ve played by the rules long enough. Now it’s time for mine. I am one of one. I am that b**ch.”

Questions remain now that Jade is back, including whether Naomi did attack her friend, or if somebody has framed the long-time WWE babyface. Whatever the case, Jade Cargill is through playing nice with others on the WWE roster.

  • Did John Cena Turn Heel? R-Truth Evaluates Childhood Hero\’s Betrayal

John Cena shocked the world by turning heel at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto, kicking off a rollercoaster of emotions for fellow WWE veteran R-Truth. Truth has often seen John as a childhood hero, which has made Cena\’s betrayal of Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect all the more difficult.

On social media, several wrestlers reacted in shock to Cena\’s heel turn. When Brandi Rhodes made her views on Cena\’s assault on her husband very clear, Truth shared that fans shouldn\’t be quick to judge the 16-time WWE World Champion.

On Instagram, Truth acknowledged that images of Cena attacking Cody Rhodes were shared online, but cast doubt over their genuineness.

Hours later, it appears that Truth is starting to accept the sad reality of what happened in Toronto. On X, Truth changed his header and profile picture to reflect on Cena\’s heel turn.

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"

Cena refused to explain his actions at the Elimination Chamber post-show, leaving fans to speculate what\’s to come from the WWE icon. Whatever\’s next, the heel turn heard around the world has shocked fans, and could spell disaster for Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41.

  • Dave Bautista Presents Best Cinematography Award At 2025 Oscars

WWE legend-turned-Hollywood heavyweight Dave Bautista was on hand at this year\’s Academy Awards to present the award for Best Cinematography. Alongside Joe Alwyn, Alba Rohrwacher, Zoe Saldaña, and Willem Defoe, the former WWE World Heayvweight Champion was part of the award\’s festivities.

The award was won by Lol Crawley for her work on The Brutalist. The film faced fierce competiton in its category.

    • The Brutalist – Lol Crawley
    • Dune: Part Two – Greig Fraser
    • Emilia Pérez – Paul Guilhaume
    • Maria – Edward Lachman
    • Nosferatu – Jarin Blaschke

Bautista wasn\’t nominated for any individual awards, but there was a victory for the Animal at the ceremony. Dune: Part Two, which saw Bautista reprise his role as Glossu Rabban won the Oscar for both Best Sound and Best Visual Effects.

Bautista has proven to be one of the biggest wrestler-turned-actor success stories, matching the likes of John Cena and Dwayne \’The Rock\’ Johnson. With In the Lost Lands coming this year, as well as aspirations to direct, the Animal\’s time in the movie-making industry is far from over.

  • Trish Stratus: Getting To Work With Generations Of Talent Is Special

At WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto, Trish Stratus made her in-ring return to team with Tiffany Stratton. Together, the pair defeated Candice LeRae and Nia Jax, extending Stratus\’ tag-team streak in Canada to 8-0.

Speaking after her match, Stratus recalled training with the WWE Women\’s Champion ahead of their match in the Rogers Centre.

\”We clicked from the beginning, and we\’ve been really working together. We had this opportunity to team up, so we took advantage of it and we made sure we were in sync and we trained together, we did yoga together, preparing for this moment.\”

Stratton is the latest high-profile name Stratton has worked with in the ring, a list that includes the likes of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. The Hall of Famer is pleased that years after her full-time career ended, she is able to keep up with generation after generation of talent.

\”I had a chance to mix it up with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, that generation. Now [I\’ve] had a chance to work with the next generation, that\’s not lost on me. It\’s pretty special.\”

2025 marks a quarter-century since Trish Stratus debuted in WWE as the manager of Test and Albert. It remains to be seen what Trish does next in the ring, but working with the top stars of WWE\’s women\’s division decade after decade isn\’t lost on the Hall of Famer.

  • Triple H Acknowledges Fans Booing The U.S. At Elimination Chamber: Toronto

Ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber, the United States and Canadian national anthems were performed, with the crowd in Toronto booing the former. During the Premium Live Event, Logan Paul attempted to earn heat by arriving with the stars and stripes and was again booed.

On the post-show press conference, WWE CCO Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque addressed the situation when showing his gratitude to those in the Rogers Centre for being loud throughout the evening.

\”The fans here are always loud, come to have a good time and support their favorites, or boo our flag or whatever, they love doing it. So thank you very much.\”

The fans in Toronto\’s frosty reception to the U.S. flag and anthem comes amid President Trump\’s efforts to rile up the Great White North. Trump has repeatedly referred to Canada as a 51st state in waiting, despite the insistence by Canadians that their country will not join the U.S. A clip of Canadians booing the U.S. National Anthem at a hockey game recently went viral, which may have fuelled WWE\’s decision to lean into the ongoing drama.

WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto will be remembered for decades, if for nothing else, for the shocking heel turn of John Cena. While fans in Toronto made their feelings on the U.S. (or specifically, Trump\’s rhetoric) loud and clear in the Rogers Centre, the show was able to entertain and shock fans around the world.

  • The Rock: The Final Boss Transcends Wrestling\’s Heel/Face Dynamics

On a recent edition of WWE SmackDown, The Rock won over fans by sharing news about WrestleMania 42, before going dark and claiming he wanted the soul of Cody Rhodes. This sudden change has led many to question as to whether the Final Boss is a heel or babyface, as well as the character\’s wider influence on WWE.

At the WWE Elimination Chamber post-show, The Rock was asked about his Final Boss character, one that, according to the TKO Board member, transcends the norms of the wrestling industry.

\”The Final Boss is a lot of things. He\’s a heel, he\’s a babyface. But also, he\’s one who doesn\’t adhere to the typical professional wrestling tropes we find.\”

The Rock added that the Final Boss\’ role on any given night depends on how he is feeling in the moment. If The Rock feels like having fun with the fans, he\’s a face, and if he feels like lashing out at the fans, the Final Boss is typical of a heel.

\”I say what I feel, and in that moment, that\’s the luxury and the blessing of being in pro wrestling. You can say what you feel.\”

The Final Boss was certainly a heel at WWE Elimination Chamber, where he and a heel-turned John Cena left Cody Rhodes bloodied in the ring. With WrestleMania 41 drawing ever closer, fans can expect plenty of the Final Boss, no matter if he\’s cheered or booed by the fans.

  • Triple H: John Cena\’s Heel Turn Was \”Now Or Never\” for WWE Icon

At the WWE Elimination Chamber post-show, WWE CCO Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque addressed John Cena\’s shocking heel turn in Toronto. Levesque, who has shared the ring with Cena in the past, admitted that what happened in the Rogers Centre may have been the most powerful moment he\’s experienced.

\”I\’ve been fortunate to have been around a lot of the biggest things in this business in the last , say 30 years. I don\’t know if I\’ve ever felt a more powerful moment.\”

Levesque said that this moment was one fans didn\’t see coming, and one that John didn\’t need to do. Rather than rest on his laurels as a nostalgia act, Cena is continuing to develop his character, a dedication to the craft Levesque finds admirable.

\”It is now or never, and you can ride that out and rest on the things you have done, and you couldn\’t really blame John for doing that… or somebody like him can double down and say \’Screw it, I want to be challenged to the last moment.\’\”

Cena\’s heel turn blew the expectations fans had for Elimination Chamber out of the water, Levesque added. With WWE\’s \’Greatest Of All Time\’ now aligned with the Final Boss, the road to WrestleMania is well underway, and proving to be one of the most unpredictable journies to WWE\’s grandest event of the year.

  • Wrestling World Reacts To John Cena\’s Shocking Heel Turn

The wrestling world was stunned at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto as John Cena turned heel and aligned himself with The Rock. After Cody Rhodes refused to give up his soul to the Final Boss, Cena attacked the man he will face at WrestleMania 41.

Cena\’s heel turn, his first in over two decades and a turn almost everyone assumed would never come, has unsuprisingly sparked a ton of reactions. On X, Drew McIntyre argued that Cena was a hypocrite and expressed his issue with his Elimination Chamber match exit.

Karrion Kross, who\’s words have led many stars to turn heel, believes that John\’s heel turn proves what he has said all alone.

Grammy Award-winning artist Bad Bunny had just one word to describe how he was feeling upon seeing Cena fall to the dark side.

Brandi Rhodes was unsurprisingly unhappy with seeing her husband left in a bloody pulp by John Cena and The Rock.

Reflecting on his own history of being betrayed by John, Matt Cardona was hardly surprised by what happened in Toronto.

Monday Night Raw commentator Pat McAfee believes Cena\’s shocking turn was orchestrated by the Final Boss.

\’Big\’ Bronson Reed was impressed to see this darker side of the 16-time WWE World Champion.

TNA World Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy was surprised that John has embraced his darker side after decades in the light.

And WWE Women\’s World Champion Rhea Ripley needed just a single emoji to share her shock over what had transpired.

There\’s still plenty of questions as to what John Cena\’s direction will be going forward, despite plans for his match at WrestleMania 41 being locked in. Nevertheless, this is shaping up to be the most suprising road to WrestleMania in recent memory, one that will see Cena and The Rock seek to destroy the American Nightmare

  • John Cena Turns Heel, Aligns With The Rock at WWE Elimination Chamber

Cody Rhodes made clear that his soul was not The Rock\’s to claim, but John Cena had other intentions. In the closing moments of WWE Elimination Chamber, Rhodes confronted Cena following the WWE icon\’s victory inside the Elimination Chamber.

The Rock came out to confront Rhodes, telling the Undisputed WWE Champion that he needed the soul of the American Nightmare. Rhodes not only said no, but made that point clear, telling the Final Boss to \”Go F*** Yourself!\”

Cena and Rhodes embraced, signifying a mutual respect ahead of WrestleMania 41. When The Rock gave the signal to Cena though, the unthinkable happened, as John Cena turned heel. A low-blow to Rhodes signified John\’s betrayal, and he and Rock (with assistance by Travis Scott) brutalized the WWE Champion.

A heel turn has been something almost all fans expected to never happen for John, who wil end his in-ring career later this year. With WrestleMania likely marking Cena\’s final chance to become a 17-time World Champion, the WWE icon won\’t let anything hold him back, even if it means losing his soul in the process.

  • John Cena Wins Elimination Chamber Match, WWE Title Match Set For WrestleMania 41

John Cena has punched his ticket on the road to WrestleMania 41 by winning the Men\’s Elimination Chamber Match in Toronto’s Roger’s Centre. Cena outlasted Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, Seth Rollins, and finally CM Punk to secure the win.

With this victory, Cena has earned an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. This will mark Rhodes\’ fourth WrestleMania main event, and the sixth for John Cena.

Cena\’s victory has put the WWE icon in prime position to capture his 17th WWE World Championship, a feat Cena has made clear he plans to accomplish. With John\’s in-ring career coming to an end this year, WrestleMania 41 may indeed prove to be John\’s final opportunity to accomplish what nobody in WWE has done before.

  • Randy Orton Returns at WWE Elimination Chamber, RKO\’s Kevin Owens

WWE\’s Apex Predator Randy Orton made a surprise return at WWE Elimination Chamber, after spending months out of action thanks to Kevin Owens. In the third match of the night, Owens defeated Sami Zayn in an Unsanctioned Match, one WWE had no legal responsibility over.

After the match, Owens continued his attack and aimed to end the career of his friend/rival. This brought out Orton, who had been taken out in late 2024 with a piledriver from Owens. After downing the Prizefighter, Orton teased using a steel chair, but instead attempted to hit his dreaded punt kick on the former Universal Champion. Security kept Orton from hitting the move, while Owens was able to escape to the back.

Orton also teased pointing at the WrestleMania 41 sign, suggesting that he has plans for the two-night megashow set for April 2025. It remains to be seen what the Viper has planned, but Randy Orton is on the road to the Showcase of the Immortals, and hungry for payback on Kevin Owens.

  • Bianca Belair Wins Women\’s Elimination Chamber, Earns WrestleMania Title Shot

Bianca Belair has punched her ticket on the road to WrestleMania 41 by winning the Women\’s Elimination Chamber Match in Toronto\’s Roger\’s Centre. The EST outlasted Bayley, Naomi, Roxanne Perez, Alexa Bliss, and finally Liv Morgan to secure the win.

This was a hard-hitting affair from before the match got started, as Jade Cargill returned and attacked Naomi, who Jade believes attacked her at SmackDown in November 2024. The finish of the match saw Belair counter Morgan\’s ObLIVion to hit the KOD and win the match.

While it\’s now known who will challenge for the Women\’s World Championship at WrestleMania 41, the question remains as to who Belair will face. On the March 3, edition of WWE Raw, Rhea Ripley will defend the Women\’s World Championship against IYO SKY. The winner of this match will face Belair at WrestleMania 41.

This win marks Belair\’s returns to the singles title picture after spending the past year in the tag-team division, a run that saw her become a two-time tag-team champion. Now, Belair plans on holding gold again, though also seeks answers about the actions of Jade Cargill.

  • Jade Cargill Returns At WWE Elimination Chamber, Attacks Naomi

Jade Cargill made her stunning return to WWE programming at Elimination Chamber 2025, and wasted no time in attacking her alleged attacker. Before the Women\’s Elimination Chamber match begun, Cargill made her first appearance in months, earning a huge pop from the Toronto crowd.

Cargill attacked Naomi, leaving the commentary team to speculate that the Glow was the one who had attacked Jade back in November 2024. After the beating Naomi took, the former Women\’s Champion was deemed unable to compete and eliminated from the match.

The mystery around the attack on Cargill had been going on for months, with Naomi, Bianca Belair, and Liv Morgan all being suspected of being responsible. Naomi certainly benefitted the most from Jade\’s absence, as she stepped in and became a Women\’s Tag Team Champion with Bianca Belair in the Storm\’s absence.

While Cargill\’s attack doesn\’t confirm Naomi as the attacker, it confirms that Jade believes her former friend ambushed her in late 2024. Fans will have to wait and see what Naomi has to say now that the finger of suspicion has been pointed directly at her.

  • Elimination Chamber: The Rock Vows Cody Rhodes Will ‘Do The Right Thing’

The Rock is immensely confident that Cody Rhodes will do the \’right\’ thing and agree to be the Final Boss\’ champion. On X (fka Twitter,) The Rock shared that Cody will agree in a move that will forever change the city of Toronto.

The Rock appeared during the February 21, edition of WWE SmackDown, where he made clear that he wants the \’soul\’ of the American Nightmare. During the February 28, episode, The Rock showed Rhodes the perks of agreeing to his request, including personal security, a private locker-room, and a brand-new truck.

Rhodes knows what it\’s like to run afoul of the Final Boss and was on the receiving end of multiple beatings by The Rock in 2024. With The Rock now willing to work with Cody (albeit under Rock\’s rules,) Rhodes has seem conflicted as whether to reject, or accept, The Rock\’s request.

Rhodes will make his decision as part of a stacked event that will feature two Elimination Chamber matches and the in-ring return of WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. While it remains to be seen whether Cody agrees to give up his soul to the Final Boss, it\’s clear that whatever decision Rhodes makes will have a profound effect on his Road to WrestleMania 41.

  • WWE 2K25: NXT Talent, Hall of Famer & TNA Champion Teased As DLC

WWE 2K25 is mere days away from release, but fans are already getting teases at future downloadable content. In a series of posts on X, WWE teased the arrival of several notable stars.

The cherry blossoms hint the release of a Japanese talent, likely WWE NXT Women\’s Champion Giulia, who features cherry blossoms in her entrance. The second image depicts the city of Detroit and hand gestures in the image certainly tease the Motor City Machine Guns, two men not available at launch. The third image is of Santiago, Chile, teasing WWE NXT Women\’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer.

This wasn\’t WWE\’s only tease about upcoming content, as a second video was shared shortly after the first.

The first image shows a bandana and New York City, with some fans speculating that this is a tease of the late New Jack. In the second image, a fan\’s prominent hand gesture certainly teases Penta, while the J in an NXT ring has led to speculation of TNA World Champion Joe Hendry being in WWE 2K25. The third image features a Prime bottle, though with Logan Paul already a playable character, this could be for IShowSpeed or KSI. The most obvious tease comes in the reflection of the water, prominently featuring Bull Nakano.

WWE 2K25 is set to release on March 14, with the Deadman and Bloodline Editions of the game set to release one week early for eager gamers. With expectations sky high for the upcoming video game, fans won’t have to wait much longer to play the literal biggest wrestling video game of all time.

  • Big E Praises WWE NXT Star, Hoping For Many Title Wins

Though Big E\’s future in the ring remains uncertain, the former WWE Champion hopes to sees big things in the future of one of NXT\’s top names. Taking to X (fka Twitter,) Big E shared that he is a big fan of WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi. Not only has Big E been impressed by The Ruler, but hopes to see plenty of gold in the future of the Nigerian Superstar.

Femi, a recruit from WWE\’s Next-In-Line program, has certainly impressed since joining WWE NXT. In 2024, Femi broke the record for the longest-reign as WWE NXT North American Champion. He has similarly impressed in 2025 as he defeated Trick Williams to become NXT Champion during NXT New Year\’s Evil in January.

Femi\’s work has gained the interest of talent from outside WWE as TNA X-Division Champion Moose confronted Femi during a recent edition of WWE NXT. Femi responded by showing up in TNA iMPACT and the pair were on opposing sides of a six-man tag-match won by Moose and The System. The pair will battle at WWE NXT Roadblock with Femi\’s NXT Title on the line.

As for Big E, March 2025 marks three years since the broken neck injury that has derailed his in-ring career. Nevertheless, Big E has remained an active part of WWE programming, and is excited to see what\’s to come for The Ruler.

  • Will CM Punk Sell His Soul? Analyzing The Rock\’s Potential Plan-B

There\’s been plenty of talk about Cody Rhodes\’ soul, an abstract that The Rock seeks to claim, but could CM Punk prove to be an effective Plan-B for the Final Boss? Before the February 28, edition of WWE SmackDown, an Elimination Chamber kick-off event took place, where Punk made an appearance. Speaking candily, Punk acknowledged that 2025 could be his final opportunity to headline WrestleMania, and failing to earn a title match in the Elimination Chamber could result in Punk calling in a favor.

On SmackDown, Punk further teased an unconventional route to the WrestleMania 41 main event. Backstage with Cody Rhodes, Punk said he wants Rhodes to reject the offer. However, Punk admitted that in his younger days, he would have accepted The Rock\’s offer to guarantee main event success.

Punk has yet to headline WrestleMania, one of the few accolades the Best in the World is missing from his career. If Cody turns down the Brahma Bull, then it\’s entirely possible that Punk will agree to be The Rock\’s champion, knowing the perks that would come with this role. Fans will have to stay tuned to see what decision Cody makes, and whether CM Punk gets involved in the issues between the Undisputed WWE Champion and the Final Boss.
