  • President Logan Paul? WWE Star Teases Race To The White House

For better or worse, Logan Paul is able to get people talking with there being countless fans and critics of the former United States Champion. Now, WWE\’s resident \’Maverick\’ is taking his goals out of the ring and all the way to the White House.

On his latest Vlog, Paul listened to a podcast which discussed the current state of politics in the United States. Paul discussed his new show \’Paul American\’ before teasing a potential political run.

“We\’re living the modern American Dream. Two kids who picked up a cell phone and had access to the internet, made a whole life and career for themselves and maybe one day, we could use our skills in running the greatest country in the world. Paul 2040.”

While shocking, Paul would hardly be the first name in wrestling to enter politics. Glenn \’Kane\’ Jacobs currently serves as the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. Though he identifies as a Libertarian, he ran and won on the Republican ticket. WWE Hall of Famer Jesse \’The Body\’ Ventura ran as an indpendent in the 1990s and made it to being the Governor of Minnesota.

With 15 years before Paul\’s potential election, the WWE Superstar has plenty of time to prep for his journey to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. While the idea of the social media star one day leading the U.S. may seem farcical, stranger things continue to happen, both in pro wrestling and the political ring.

  • \’I Don\’t Like Him\’ – Dirty Dom Takes On \’Old & Beat Up\’ CM Punk

Dominik Mysterio has been at odds with CM Punk since the Best in the World\’s shocking return to WWE in November 2023. Speaking on Treasure Hunting with Moses The Jeweler, Mysterio shared his issue with Punk.

\”He’s old and beat up. If I keep going, I\’ll get in trouble because I don’t like CM Punk.\”

Mysterio said that there was someone off camera to \”keep me in line\” and prevent him from going hard on the former WWE Champion. Despite the threat of getting in trouble, Mysterio ended with an emphatic message: \”F*** CM Punk.\”

\’Dirty Dom\’ was Punk\’s first opponent in WWE after his return with Punk getting the win at WWE\’s MSG event on Boxing Day 2023. Mere days later, Punk again got the victory, this time at a December 30, live event in Inglewood, California. While it\’s been over a year since the pair last competed in singles action, the pair remain at one another\’s throats on social media.

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"

Punk is currently engaged in a feud with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns with all three men set for the March 21, SmackDown from Bologna, Italy. As for Mysterio, his attempts to recruit a new member to the Judgment Day have put him at odds with Finn Balor. With Dom costing Balor his Intercontinental Title match on the March 17, edition of WWE Raw, it remains to be seen what their issues mean for the future of the Judgment Day.

  • Homicide Announces In-Ring Retirement After Cyst Is Found On Brain

One of wrestling’s most respected talents is stepping away from the ring. Taking to Facebook, former Ring of Honor World Champion Homicide delivered the emotional message to fans that his career is ending due to a cyst being found on his brain. Homicide was sad to say goodbye \”not just to a job, but to my passion, the sport of pro wrestling.\”

The cyst was found at a doctor\’s appointment and has been an issue for Homicide for some time. The situation has only grown worst due to wrestling as Homicide explained that \”My vision, speech are bad [because of the] hard hits, getting knocked out, and then hopping on a plane to travel.”

Homicide\’s final match will come on March 20, at the Outlaw Wrestling event in Brooklyn, New York. Homicide will team with Bull James against Mike Santana and Afa Jr., a match he personally selected for his farewell. Addressing his final match, Homicide shared that “I want people to party and smile—except for Afa Jr.”

Homicide has been a staple in the wrestling world for decades with his battles in ROH against the likes of Bryan Danielson and Steve Corino being the stuff of history. Outside ROH, Homicide is known for his time as part of TNA Wrestling with LAX.

The wrestling veteran ended his somber Facebook post on a positive note, sharing that this isn\’t a full goodbye to pro wrestling, but rather a \”see you later.\” While Homicide\’s in-ring career will be over soon, his legacy will last forever in the industry he loves.

  • Update On Tyson Kidd & Potential In-Ring Return

A devastating neck injury would bring an end to Tyson Kidd\’s wrestling career in 2015 and the former Tag Team Champion today works as a producer. Now, close to a decade after that unfortunate Muscle Buster, talk has resumed about a potential return to the ring.

On Sunday, March 23, Future Stars of Wrestling will host the \’Beynefit for Bey\’ in Las Vegas, a benefit for TNA\’s Chris Bey who suffered a severe neck injury in October 2024. Speaking to Fightful, FSW owner Joe DeFalco shared how early plans could have seen Kidd in action.

\”Rey Mysterio was going to work the show, which was crazy to me. He wanted to work. He was trying to tag team with TJ Wilson [Kidd], who hasn\’t wrestled in forever.\”

Kidd told DeFalco that he wouldn\’t do any high-flying moves and keep to the mat to avoid aggrevating his neck. Kidd pitched for a tag-team match main event, pitting himself and Rey against Dominik Mysterio and Karrion Kross.

Unfortunately, WWE\’s ongoing tour of Europe \”put the kibosh\” on plans for this match as Kidd and other WWE names are pre-occupied. DeFalco even shared that CM Punk wanted to be a part of the \’beynefit\’ but WWE commitments have prevented that.

\”Bey was talking to CM Punk yesterday and Punk was like, \’If we weren\’t on this tour, I would have worked the show.\”

Despite this, the show will see WWE involvement as Karrion Kross will be in action against former TNA talent Hammerstone. AEW will be represented by Brian Cage, Swerve Strickland, Ricochet, and others, while TNA representatives will include Frankie Kazarian, The Rascalz, and more.

The fact that it was his WWE commitments, and not his injury, that sunk Kidd\’s in-ring return is certainly notable. With several names returning from career \’ending\’ injuries including Bryan Danielson, Cope, and Saraya, one can\’t count out the impossible for Tyson Kidd.

  • Joe Hendry WWE Role Confirmed For WrestleMania Week

TNA World Champion Joe Hendry has appeared several times for WWE over the past 12 months and his next appearance has now been confirmed. On Instagram, Hendry shared that he will be appearing at the WWE World At WrestleMania fan event. Fans will have the chance to get photos and autographs with Hendry who\’ll be appearing alongside legends and current-day WWE Superstars.

WWE World At WrestleMania will take place from Thursday, April 17 through Monday, April 21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall in Las Vegas. Talent already confirmed include Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Drew McIntyre, Jey Uso, Tiffany Stratton, and LA Knight. WWE Hall of Famers The Undertaker and \’Iron\’ Mike Tyson have also been announced.

News of Hendry\’s appearance at the WWE World At WrestleMania comes at an interesting time for the TNA World Champion. Fans believe Hendry will be on the March 24, WWE Raw, where he will seemingly be the mystery partner of Jey Uso. The show will take place in Hendry\’s native Scotland, and Joe will be in Glasgow that same day as part of a pre-announced concert after Raw.

Hendry\’s role this April highlights the ongoing multi-year partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling. With the Scottish star set to make a splash at a WWE event yet again, there\’ll be plenty of fans ready to believe in Joe Hendry at the WWE World At WrestleMania convention.

  • WWE Hall of Fame: Wrestling Icon Requested for Key Role

Lex Luger will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in April 2025 in recognition of his legacy and achievements in pro wrestling. The topic of who will induct Luger has sparked a debate with Lex himself wanting AEW\’s Sting to do the honor.

Luger and those in his circle have informed WWE that Sting is their preferred choice, Fightful Select reports. WWE has been making efforts to bring Sting in for the all-important induction. Though Sting retired from in-ring competition in 2024 he remains under contract AEW. This contract is reported to be similar to a WWE Legends deal.

Whether Sting inducts Luger or not, the Icon will be in Las Vegas for WrestleMania week. There have been indications that Sting has expanded his previously short travel plans for Las Vegas, suggesting that a potential WWE return could be in the works.

Sting and Luger are long-time friends with this friendship often playing into their wrestling characters. It was a phonecall with Sting that would result in Luger returning to WCW in 1995, kicking off the Monday Night Wars with a huge bang!

Sting was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016 and will soon get to see his friend receive the same honor. Whether Sting is simply watching the event from a hotel room, or appearing at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas to induct his friend, remains to be seen.

  • John Cena’s Heel Turn Deepens: ‘Expect No One to Understand’

John Cena\’s heel turn has shown no signs of slowing down, and his issue with the fans has now come to the attention of social media. On X, Cena shared his doubts that people will be willing to analyze their own behavior in order to understand his point of view.

Cena\’s post comes after a fiery promo on the March 17, edition of WWE Raw, his first since turning heel at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto. Speaking to a rauccous crowd in Belgium, Cena said he was leaving his \”abusive relationship\” with fans who never treated him as a human being. Going on to call the fans \”awful,\” Cena said they should be ashamed of themselves for how they\’ve treated him since his arrival in WWE.

Despite this new attitude from John Cena, the WWE icon is sticking with his theme song and colorful attires. Explaining this lack of change, John said that fans were excited to see these aspects of his character change, but told the fans in Brussels that \”You get what you have earned and what you have earned is nothing!\”

John will be a part of the March 24, edition of WWE Raw from Glasgow, Scotland, as will his WrestleMania 41 adversary Cody Rhodes. Though the pair didn\’t come to blows in Brussels, it remains to be seen what explosive encounter unfolds when the pair head to the UK next week.

  • How SpongeBob SquarePants Inspired Jordynne Grace\’s WWE NXT Look

Jordynne Grace was part of the March 18, edition of WWE NXT where she staked her claim to a title match with NXT Women\’s/Women\’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer. Despite Grace\’s comments and an attack by Jaida Parker, the topic of conversation among many fans was not on the action or a potential title match, but on Grace\’s outfit.

Grace wore a blistering pink and green ensemble with platform boots that made the Juggernaut far taller than she actually is. Fans of Nickelodeon may recognise Grace\’s outfit as inspired by Patrick Star from the SpongeBob SquarePants movie. During \’Goofy Goober Rock\’ Patrick, wears similar heels and has a similar color-scheme to what fans saw from the former Knockouts Champion.

Jordynne Grace (left) borrowed her look from Patrick Star.

Grace would confirm that her look was inspired by Spongebob\’s neighbor. In a video, Grace took a phone call saying \”This is Jordynne. No this is Jordynne.\” The video was a nod to Patrick\’s time working at the Krusty Krab restaurant, and telling a caller asking if this was the Krusty Krab \”No, this is Patrick.\”

Grace\’s new boots are a bold new look for the NXT Superstar. In shared DMs, Grace shared that Lash Legend was a factor behind the purchase and once again confirmed the connection to Patrick.

Grace has made an impact since arriving in WWE NXT last year, with many believing a title victory will come eventually. Until that day comes, Grace is ready to walk over the competition with her fancy new boots.

  • Fan Ready To Fight 2009-Era Randy Orton For Girl\’s Phone Number

One fan\’s attempt to use WWE references to win over a lady did not pan out, despite his willingness to fight 2009-era Randy Orton. In a screenshot shared on social media, the fan in question told his would-be romance that he\’d wrestle a bear just to get her number. When that show of affection went unanswered, the fan said they\’d even fight Orton, specifically from his 2009 run.

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/03/\"

Randy Orton circa 2009 is considered one of the most violent, dastardly chapters in the career of the Legend Killer. The year saw Orton take out several wrestlers with the punt kick. In perhaps his most dastardly act, Orton would hit his middle-rope DDT on Stephanie McMahon, all while a handcuffed Triple H watched on helplessly. Orton would seal the act with a kiss to the unconscious McMahon, adding fire to the feud between Orton and his former mentor heading into WrestleMania 25.

Orton isn\’t quite as evil as he once was, but teasing the return of the punt in his ongoing feud with Kevin Owens shows he still has a bonafide mean-streak. As for the fan, it remains to be seen if they can win over their would-be romance with more references to WWE\’s resident Apex Predator.

  • Heel John Cena Likened To LeBron James Joining Miami Heat

John Cena shocked fans with his heel turn at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto, marking his first official role as a villain in over two decades. On the March 17, edition of WWE Raw in Brussels, Cena confirmed his heel turn with a scathing promo against the \”awful\” WWE Universe.

Cena\’s heel turn has had everyone talking with his actions extending past pro-wrestling. On X, one fan compared John\’s fall to the dark side to LeBron James joining the Miami Heat. James\’ decision to sign with the Heat in 2010 spawned an immediate backlash at the time with many taking issue with the move and his televised The Decision special. Prominent basketball icons including Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan were among those criticzing James at the time.

    John Cena: What\’s Next?

After his explosive return to WWE Raw in Brussels, Cena will be a part of the March 24, episode in Glasgow, Scotland. With Cody Rhodes also confirmed for the show, fans can expect another encounter between the two. Rhodes and Cena will battle at WrestleMania 41, where John intends on becoming a 17-time WWE World Champion at the expense of the American Nightmare.

Many fans are still awaiting The Rock\’s role in the Cena-Rhodes situation. While the Final Boss was at Elimination Chamber: Toronto, he has been absent from programming ever since. With WrestleMania 41 looming, fans eagerly anticipate the return of the Final Boss, providing Rhodes with another WWE icon he\’ll need to overcome to have any chance at retaining his title.

  • Booker T Reacts To Being Named The Greatest Black Wrestler

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has responded to being named the greatest black wrestler in history by BET.

\”I really appreciate that. I really do. My body of work has been vast. I’m still working my butt off.\”

Booker works his \’butt off\’ to help the next generation of wrestlers \”find their way through this journey.\” A renaissance man, Booker helps train wrestlers, operates the Reality of Wrestling promotion alongside wife Sharmell, and serves as a WWE NXT commentator.

Even with this ranking, Booker doesn\’t consider himself as the best wrestler in the ring. Instead he believes that his performance was his gratest strength.

\”I never thought I was the best wrestler in the world, but I always thought I was a really, really good performer, and that’s what the difference was.\”

When asked for the secret to his longevity in wrestling, Booker shared that \”I was always thinking about what was next.\” It is this dedication to do more that turned Booker into a six-time World Champion and two-time WWE Hall of Famer, among other accolades.

“When I got in this business more than 30 years ago, I said when it was over with, I just want my name to ring with the best wrestlers that have ever did it, and I feel like I’ve achieved that.”

Booker fought off some fierce competition to take the #1 spot, including fellow WWE Hall of Famers and current-day talent. The rankings from BET is as follows:

    1. Booker T
    2. The Rock
    3. Kofi Kingston
    4. Mark Henry
    5. Mercedes Moné
    6. Junkyard Dog
    7. Ron Simmons
    8. Bobby Lashley
    9. Bianca Belair
    10. D’Von Dudley
    11. Big E
    12. Jacqueline
    13. Naomi
    14. Shelton Benjamin
    15. Jazz

Whether it be in the ring or on the mic, Booker T proved his exceptional talents time and time again. Now, the former WCW World Champion has a legacy that only a few wrestlers, regardless of race, can ever touch.

  • John Cena’s $25K WrestleMania Luncheon Coming to Las Vegas

WWE WrestleMania 41 just got even bigger with a special celebration of John Cena coming to Las Vegas. Ahead of his potential 17th WWE World Championship win, Cena will meet with fans despite his scathing words given on the March 17, episode of WWE Raw.

As part of the WrestleMania festivities, On Location is hosting an exclusive luncheon with Cena on Saturday, April 19, just hours before Night One of WrestleMania 41. The catch? Only 20 fans will be able to attend, and the price tag for this experience is $25,000 per person. That\’s pre-tax, of course.

For such a steep price, fans will experience a private dining event held at a luxury restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip. Attendees will enjoy a meal alongside Cena, hear heartfelt speeches, and witness Cena receive a Lifetime Achievement in recognition for his contributions to the industry.

Cena\’s luncheon is hardly the only high-price experience for fans with deep pockets traveling to Las Vegas. A meet-and-greet VIP experience with Hulk Hogan is also available though the price of meeting the Hulkster has been slashed. Though there\’s no official word on why the price has been cut, many fans believe Hogan\’s controversies have left the star not the attractive prospect he once was.

In the ring, John Cena plans on defeating Cody Rhodes to claim his record-breaking 17th WWE World Championship. Whatever comes for Big Match John, the WWE icon will give some fans a true once-in-a-lifetime experience on his retirement tour.

  • Unexpected Ally Backs John Cena Against WWE Fans

Kofi Kingston has endorsed John Cena\’s shocking heel turn, adding a new layer to one of 2025\’s most captivating storylines so far. After turning at Elimination Chamber: Toronto, Cena confirmed his fall to the dark side during the March 17, WWE Raw with a scathing promo aimed at the fans.

On X, Kingston supported Cena\’s attack on the fans who only take and give nothing back, endorsing the 16-time World Champions that fans are awful. As the New Day member puts its:

\”Not. A. Single. Lie. Told. You people have been AWFUL.\”

Kingston himself turned heel in December 2024 when he and Xavier Woods betrayed their New Day teammate Big E. He and Woods have been embracing their roles as villains with increasing intensity while battling fan favorites including Rey Mysterio and the LWO.

Cena\’s turn at Elimination Chamber saw him align with The Rock, yet another name fans didn\’t imagine turning heel until it happened in early 2024. With the Final Boss in his corner, fans can\’t count out Kofi and others being recruited to aid Cena in his quest for a 17th World Title.

Cena\’s heel turn has set the stage for what promises to be an explosive WrestleMania showdown with Cody Rhodes and both have been confirmed for the March 24, Raw in Glasgow, Scotland. While The Rock\’s involvement adds another layer to an already compelling narrative, it could be the work of Kingston and others that give more depth to this shocking betrayal.

  • Chelsea Green Protests Women\’s U.S. Title Defense Against Sol Ruca

Sol Ruca hopes to win the Women\’s U.S. Title on the March 18, edition of WWE NXT but Chelsea Green is in no mood to put her gold on the line. Taking to X, Green, the inaugural holder of the gold, was furious that \’Miss Sunshine\’ was making Green wrestle on what she claimed was her one day off.

Green then argued that her first amendment rights mean that this match should not go ahead. The self-professed Hot Mess had no shortage of reasons why the match simply can\’t happen.

Despite Green\’s best efforts, all signs point to the title match going ahead as planned. Ruca pinned Green during a tag-team match on the March 4, edition of WWE NXT, seemingly giving the challenger the psychological advantage heading into their title match.

Despite her reluctance to compete, Green won\’t be walking into this title match alone. The U.S. Champion has her own secret service including \’Slaygent P\’ (Piper Niven) and the group\’s newest recruit, \’Slaygent A\’ (Alba Fyre.) The irony is that the faction that leans heavily into a U.S. Presidential campaign, does not feature anyone born in the U.S. of A.

For Sol Ruca, this match marks a golden opportunity for the NXT star to etch her name in the history books as the second Women\’s U.S. Champion. Will Ruca shock Green just as she did two weeks ago or will the numbers of the Green Administration prove too much once again?

  • WWE LFG\’s BJ Ray is Ready for \’Money\’ Bubba Ray Dudley Match

BJ Ray, one of the standout personalities from Legends & Future Greats, recently appeared on Casual Conversations with The Wrestling Classic to discuss his WWE experience. Along the way, Ray discussed his rivalry with Bubba Ray Dudley and his approach to the business.

Ray\’s issues with Bubba Ray have played a key part of the WWE LFG so far. In the interview, Ray compared his issues with the Hall of Famer to the dynamic between Batman and the Joker.

\”You don’t want to get rid of Bubba—you want to keep getting under Bubba’s skin. It fires you up.\”

Bubba Ray Dudley is joined by Booker T, Mickie James, and The Undertaker as judges on WWE LFG which has also seen guest appearances. While Ray recognizes the status of his legendary coaches, he believes respect is a two-way street.

\”I don’t care who you are—we all wake up, eat, bleed, and sleep the same. If you respect me, I’ll respect you.\”

Ray didn\’t grow up watching wrestling but quickly embraced the business after attending WWE’s Next Gen tryout, where he secured a contract. With a background in amateur wrestling and combat sports, he now sees WWE as the perfect way to demonstrate both his athletic prowess and his charisma.

Despite being a fresh face in wrestling, Ray\’s antics on WWE LFG have already made him one of the show\’s focal points. Proudly declaring that \”Everything I touch turns to gold,\” Ray was all-in when asked about a potential official match with Bubba Ray Dudley.

\”If you’re a money man, you get it. People want to see it. Let’s make it happen.\”

Ray’s confidence and charisma continue to make waves, and whether fans support him or not, he is determined to cement his place in WWE history. Catch WWE LFG on A&E on Sunday nights.

  • R-Truth Isn\’t Sure Why Fans Are Turning On John Cena

On the March 17, WWE Raw, John Cena confirmed his heel turn with a scathing promo aimed at the fans. To chants of \”You sold out\” and \”F*** you Cena,\” the WWE icon spent over 25 minutes berating fans, calling them “awful” and accusing them of “only taking and taking.”

While the WWE Universe is still trying to process Cena’s transformation, one person who’s clearly struggling with it is R-Truth. Shortly after the show, Truth took to X and once again failed to connect all the dots.

Truth has often heralded John as his \’childhood hero,\’ making Cena\’s heel turn especially bad for the former WWE 24/7 Champion. Truth and Cena have yet to come face-to-face since this heel turn though fans anticipate (and dread) a potential meet-up.

John Cena will be part of the March 24, edition of WWE Raw in Glasgow, Scotland, as will his WrestleMania 41 opponent Cody Rhodes. While the pair did not come to blows in Belgium, it may be a matter of time before fists fly ahead of the Undisputed WWE Championship match in Las Vegas.

  • Rob Van Dam Isn\’t Surprised By WWE Lifting Marijuana Ban

In recent years, WWE has relaxed its stance on marijuana and in February 2025, Michin shared that the drug is no longer a banned substance. Speaking on the Insight podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam, who uses marijuana, said the change was \”interesting in a good way.\”

\”I can’t say I’m surprised. I always knew the direction that marijuana prohibition would go. I was just ahead of the curve.\”

Van Dam recalled advocating for marijuana, arguing that it was far safer than cigarettes only to be treated like he was \”crazy.\” Van Dam argued that a flurry of minsinformation led to progress about marijuana being incredibly show.

\”They say cannabis is a schedule one worst drug, but no one has overdosed from it because it’s not even possible. So I was like I gotta tell people about this and stuff. Back then they didn’t want to hear it.\”

It was being found with marijuana and other substances that would bring an untimely end to RVD\’s WWE Championship reign in July 2006. After being arrested, Van Dam was booked to lose the WWE and ECW World titles in quick succession before being suspended.

\”Who knows where it would have went? I don’t know what [was planned]. I was always last one to to know what people had planned.\”

The use of marijuna is now legal for recreational use in 24 states and legal for medical use in 14 states. With the discussion about marijuana usage, especially in sports, changing dramatically, Van Dam is pleased to see the change he played a part of.

  • How ECW One Night Stand 2006 Prepared John Cena For WWE Heel Turn

John Cena has turned heel in WWE, marking his first official role as a villain for the company in over two decades. On the Insight podcast, however, Rob Van Dam recalled the hostile response Cena received at the ECW One Night Stand 2006 pay-per-view.

\”He knew what to do that night perfectly at One Night Stand, and he’s really great at what he does.\”

Cena will \”master the heel persona\” now that he is a fully-fledged villain, Van Dam added, thanks to his past experience being booed. On the podcast, Van Dam recalled a WWE event in Wales where John was able to turn the hostile crowd on his side.

\”He was like, ‘Good That’s right. Boo me. Let me know how you feel. As long as you’re out there in the crowd and you’re expressing yourself and you’re screaming that, I know you’re having a good time, and that’s what it’s all about tonight.’ Obviously he turned them.\”

The match in question saw RVD win the WWE Championship from Cena in a match that Van Dam has called his favorite from his lengthy career. The match was Van Dam\’s Money in the Bank cash-in and he became the first Superstar in history to announce their cash-in in advance.

Cena\’s match at ECW One Night Stand 2006 marked John\’s first time competing in front of an ECW crowd who made their views clear on the then-WWE Champion. With John now as a fully-fledged heel, the WWE icon isn\’t holding back on fans, including those who have cheered him. Stay tuned for the latest on Cena who is focused on becoming a 17-time WWE World Champion at WrestleMania 41.

  • Chad Gable Addresses American Made Luchador Mystery on WWE Raw

On the March 17, edition of WWE Raw, the American Made luchador once again made an appearance, attacking Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee. During a WWE Monday Night Raw Digital Exclusive, Chad Gable questioned American Made about this \’mystery man\’ and promised his pupils that he will take action.

\”Did they catch him? Tell me they caught that guy. This is two weeks in a row. No? I’m going to do something about this.\”

Gable once again played up that he and the mystery man are not the same indiviual despite what some may think. During Monday Night Raw, Michael Cole insisted that Gable is the one under the mask though Corey Graves denied the charge. While Gable did appear during Raw, he and the masked luchador were not seen on screen at the same time.

Gable had taken a break from WWE screen in early 2025 so he could learn the art of lucha libre wrestling. It remains to be seen who this mystery man is and whether he will be unmasked, but for now, Gable remains adamant that he has no idea who\’s been helping his faction.

  • Rhea Ripley Says Signed WrestleMania Contract Is Binding

On the Mach 17, edition of WWE Raw, Rhea Ripley signed the contract for the Women\’s World Title match at WrestleMania, despite not being a participant. Ripley is adamant she gets added to the match between Bianca Belair and IYO SKY after losing the gold to SKY weeks ago.

On WWE Raw Recap, Ripley was asked if she took the long trip to Brussels, Belgium just to interrupt the contract signing. Ripley said this was the case and argued that her signing the paperwork made it legally binding.

\”I had some business to attend. I’m having a good time. I signed a contract. My name’s on it. It’s legal. It’s a legal document. You can’t erase my name, you can’t do anything about it.\”

Ripley added that she won\’t stop until she has her spot at WrestleMania 41. Despite Ripley\’s comments, it was claimed during Raw by the commentary that her signing the paperwork did not mean she\’d been added to the match.

  • \’I Don\’t Need You Anymore\’ – John Cena Dumps WWE Universe On Raw

John Cena kicked off the March 17, edition of WWE Raw to explain his shocking heel turn at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto. Entering his first WWE TV show in close to two decades as a heel, Cena was met with a chorus of boos and chants from the Brussels crowd.

Despite rumors and speculation, Cena arrived to his \’My Time is Now\’ theme song and kept the attire he has worn for decades. Cena teased leaving without speaking multiple times before speaking. Addressing the turn that shocked the world, Cena shared how this turn has been a long-time coming for the WWE icon.

\”For 25 years, I\’ve been the victim. I have been the victim of an abusive relationship.\”

The crowd in Belgium seranaded John with \’F*** You Cena!\’ chants which the censors at Netflix were late to silence at first. Further reflecting on his relationship with fans, John recalled that the crowd let me know really loud that you hated me\” early into his WWE career.

Despite this hostility, John spent decades trying to win over fans, a determination that led to massive success. Even after years in the ring, it wasn\’t enough for the fans, according to John.

\”No matter what I do, it is never enough and you should all be ashamed of yourselves.\”

Cena explained that he is done giving himself to fans that only take and take from him without any consideration for the human being, adding that \”I don\’t need you anymore. I don\’t care about you and you don\’t matter to me.\” Explaining his use of his iconic theme song and not changing his attire, John explained that he isn\’t going to give fans anything special anymore.

\”You get nothing. You get what you have earned and what you have earned is nothing.\”

Chants inevitably turned to Cody Rhodes, the \”new toy\” that fans are playing with according to Cena. John\’s tone made clear that he believes fans will eventually grow tired of Cody just as they turned on him years ago.

Rhodes would make his entrance and come face-to-face with the man he\’ll battle at WrestleMania 41. Though the pair didn\’t come to blows, Cody said he wants to face the true John Cena and not the \”whiny b***h\” that he was sharing the ring with.

Cena\’s segment had been highly-anticipated in the days leading up to WWE Raw and the 16-time World Champion delivered in is first heel promo in decades. Time will tell if Cena can make it 17 at WrestleMania, or if Rhodes\’ claim that such a win is a delusion proves true in Las Vegas.

  • Rumor Killer On John Cena \’Break-A-Wish\’ Trademark Plans

John Cena may have become a dastardly heel in WWE, but that doesn\’t mean that a core ideal is about to change. Since his turn in Toronto, there has been plenty of speculation about the future of the WWE icon, but one particular rumor involving Make-A-Wish has now been debunked.

The rumor in question claimed that WWE would make a conscious effort to separate John Cena from his record-shattering work with Make-A-Wish. The claim even went as far as to claim WWE had trademarked the phrase \’Break-A-Wish\’ that\’d be used on-screen for WWE\’s newly-turned heel.

During the Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp refuted the rumor, calling it a \”fake story credited to us.\” Sapp added that \”it\’s not a real thing,\” putting to rest any idea that Cena\’s work making dreams come true for children facing the worst of circumstances will be used for heel heat.

As for what WWE does have planned, that remains a closely guarded secret at this time. When asked about his presentation for the show, Sapp commented, “They are playing it close to the vest, as they should.\” Sapp highlighted Cena\’s impending appearance on Raw as a \”major attraction point\” for fans to tune in to see. While Sapp has asked his sources about a potential new theme and other changes, plans for the GOAT remain top secret.

John Cena will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41, where Cena intends to become a 17-time WWE World Champion. With The Rock in his corner and his own talent, Cena poses the greatest threat to the title reign of the American Nightmare.

  • Asuka Clarifies AI Comments After Backlash from Fans

Debate and discussion about Artificial Intelligence (AI) has grown online in recent years as developments continue to be made in the field. Recently, WWE\’s Asuka shared her two cents on the use of AI for artisitic purposes, spawning a debate with fans.

On X, Asuka addressed the broader use of AI, pointing out how many people criticize it while benefiting from it in their daily lives. She highlighted how AI is integrated into everyday technology that people have no issue using and questioned why anybody would want to go backwards.

This sparked a ton of reactions with one fan saying that the issue is with Generative AI. While the fan highlighted how the tool plagiarises real skill and talent when crafting art or writing essays, Asuka questioned if this is truly plagiarism.

While the issue many have with AI comes down to art and replacing real artists, Asuka stated that she wasn\’t intending to talk about art.

While Asuka didn\’t intend to discuss art, the former Women\’s Champion has plenty of artistic talent. Asuka designed several characters for her Kana-Chan TV YouTube channel and served as a graphic designer for the original Nintendo DS. Whether she wishes she could have used AI for this instead, that is unclear, but the Empress of Tomorrow clearly feels the debate about AI in the modern-day is far more nuanced than it seems on the surface.
