  • Chelsea Green Denies Broken Nose Injury Despite Face Mask

Chelsea Green has claimed her nose was not broken at Saturday Night\’s Main Event, despite sporting a protective face mask on SmackDown. During WWE\’s most recent NBC special, Green was seen bleeding from her nose following her Women\’s U.S. Title match with Zelina Vega.

On SmackDown, Green sported a bedazzled rainbow-colored face mask, signifying that her nose had been broken during the Vega mask. On X however, Green dismissed the notion that she\’d suffered the injury, despite claiming the injury herself.

Green continues to entertain in and out of the ring, with her work earning her plenty of praise backstage. As for SmackDown, her attempt to interfere in a match would backfire as she\’d use her mask as a weapon but accidentally strike Piper Niven.

As for Green\’s potential nose injury, it remains to be seen when she\’ll return to the ring. Nevertheless, the Canadian continues to prove her comedic value, both on WWE TV and on social media.

  • Indi Hartwell Signs With Paragon Talent Group After TNA Move

TNA Wrestling\’s Indi Hartwell is the latest name in wrestling to sign with Paragon, signalling her intent to explore opportunities out of the ring. On X, Hartwell shared a bikini photo and told fans \”the wait is over\” while encouraging them to check her bio. While this appeared to be a sign that Hartwell had joined OnlyFans or a similar service, her bio shared her booking information as an official part of Paragon Talent Group.

Hartwell is by no means the only notable name in wrestling to be part of Paragon. The agency, run by WWE alum Dean \’Mojo Rawley\’ Muhtadi, represents notable names including Mercedes Moné, Nia Jax, Miro, Ric Flair, Naomi, and Darby Allin, among others.

Hartwell was released from WWE in 2024, though due to a pre-taped SmackDown, competed on TV for one match after her release. Now, she is part of TNA Wrestling, where the former NXT Women\’s and Women\’s Tag Team Champion hopes to leave her mark as a Knockout.

  • Why Michael Cole Will Wear A Tank-Top For Upcoming WWE Raw

Michael Cole will soon debut a much more casual look on WWE programming, though this won\’t be by choice. A few weeks ago, Pat McAfee and Cole made a wager on the outcome of the NBA series between the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers. If the Knicks won, McAfee would wear a full suit on WWE programming. But if the Pacers advanced, Cole would have to call Monday Night Raw in a tank top.

Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers to a dominant 125-108 victory over the New York Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals on May 31. Haliburton delivered 21 points, 13 assists, and six rebounds to lead his team to victory. Pascal Siakam sealed the series and earned Eastern Conference Finals MVP honors with a 31-point performance in the closeout game.

With the result settled, fans can expect Cole to ditch his suit for a tank top on WWE TV soon enough. While the Indiana Pacers are officially headed to the NBA Finals, Cole is headed to the announce desk with a new look.

  • El Hijo del Vikingo Wins AAA Mega Title As Worlds Collide Nears

A new AAA Mega Champion has been crowned and his name is El Hijo del Vikingo. At AAA\’s latest event, Vikingo defeated Alberto El Patron to capture the gold. This marks the start of Vikingo\’s second reign, with his first 833-day reign being the longest in history.

This win comes mere days before Vikingo faces Chad Gable at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide. During a recent episode of Raw, WWE shared a graphic claiming this would be a title match, despite Vikingo not having won the gold at that point. Many saw this as a sign that a title change was coming, and now we have confirmation.

Vikingo\’s victory was predicted, not just because of the graphic, but because of Alberto El Patron\’s controversial relationship with WWE. Despite being the AAA Mega Champion, El Patron had not been featured in any of WWE\’s promotional efforts since announcing their acquisition of AAA. Questions remain about El Patron and a potential future in WWE, but we now know he won\’t be appearing with the AAA Mega Championship.

  • WWE Superstars Shine At Netflix\’s Tudum Event

WWE has a massive deal with Netflix which has brought Monday Night Raw to the streaming giant as well as other events for fans outside the U.S. This week, Netflix hosted its \’Tudum\’ conference to hype up future shows and ideas, and WWE Superstars had a role to play.

Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, The New Day, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio were all on hand for Tudum. When Ripley and Morgan came face-to-face on stage, things quickly got tense. As Liv gloated about stealing Dominik Mysterio away from Ripley, it was CM Punk of all people who tried to be the voice of reason and calm things down.

Both Ripley and Morgan were able to have fun in spite of this tense face-off. On X, Ripley shared a video of herself emerging from a coffin created for Lady Gaga.

As for Morgan, she appeared on the \’Kiss-Cam\’ alongside Dominik Mysterio. Cementing her relationship with the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Morgan didn\’t hesitate to lock lips with Dirty Dom.

  • Backstage Response to WWE Evolution 2 Event

WWE Evolution 2 is officially scheduled for July 13, 2025, live from Atlanta, Georgia, an event fans have been eager to see since the first Evolution in 2018. While the event is positioned as a celebration of women’s wrestling, internal reactions within WWE suggest a more complicated picture.

According to Fightful Select, most women on WWE’s roster weren’t notified about the event in advance and only found out at the same time as the public. While a few top names and at least one WWE legend were informed ahead of time, many expressed disappointment with how the announcement was handled.

Some talent viewed the rollout as another example of unequal treatment for the women’s division. Several wrestlers referenced the original Evolution event in 2018, particularly the “curtain call” group hug at the end of the initial reveal, as something WWE would not have asked from the men’s roster.

Concerns also exist that the event is being set up to fail. Internally, some fear that if Evolution 2 underperforms—especially given that it coincides with a Beyoncé concert in Atlanta, WWE will use this as justification to stop hosting women\’s-only events. Rising hotel prices and expected traffic congestion were also cited as possible future scapegoats if numbers fall short.

One talent questioned whether the event is necessary, given WWE’s already packed premium live event (PLE) calendar. However, another in the locker room viewed Evolution 2 as a vital opportunity to spotlight underutilized talent.

Whatever opinion talent may hold, WWE Evolution 2 will go ahead? As for whether it\’ll be a major success, or will be used as a scapegoat as some fear, only time will tell…

  • Becky Lynch On Happy Gilmore 2, Working with Adam Sandler

Becky Lynch is opening up about the unexpected way she landed her role in Happy Gilmore 2, a major milestone in her career in entertainment. The Man recounted the story to Sports Illustrated’s Rick Ucchino, describing how one major acting role led to another.

“A week [after the audition], I was in a costume fitting for Star Trek. I got a call that I had gotten the part.”

Lynch grew up watching the original Happy Gilmore on VHS in Ireland. Now, nearly 30 years later, she’s starring in its Netflix sequel alongside comedy legend Adam Sandler.

“Loved Adam Sandler growing up. Still do. Actually, working with him made me love him even more. Watching how passionate, hilarious, and dialed in he is at all times, and witnessing how he creates such a fun and warm working environment—he keeps everything loose but laser-focused at the same time. It’s really quite incredible.”

Lynch isn\’t the only pro wrestler making waves in the film as AEW’s MJF also appears in the sequel. With stars from both WWE and AEW on board, Happy Gilmore 2 is shaping up to be quite the spectacle for both fans of the original and fans of pro wrestling.

Becky Lynch’s acting résumé continues to grow with high-profile roles, and this behind-the-scenes moment highlights just how quickly fortunes can change in Hollywood.

  • Ric Flair Says Jim Ross Is Attention-Seeking Amid Cancer Battle

AEW broadcaster Jim Ross is once again battling cancer, this time in his colon, in the latest health issue for the legendary commentator. While many have shared their support for Ross and have been wishing a full and speedy recovery, Ric Flair\’s response was very different.

On X, Flair said that Ross was \”seeking attention\” in a now-deleted post. While Flair didn\’t address Ross\’ cancer battle directly, he encouraged his fellow WWE Hall of Famer to \”Focus on your recovery.\”

    \"Ric

This post spawned a backlash among fans, many of whom found it disrespectful of JR, especially amid his battle with cancer. This wouldn\’t be the only post fans took issue with, as in another, Flair created a fake \’contract\’ saying those reading had consented to riding Space Mountain, a euphemism to having sex with the Nature Boy.

    \"Ric

Once again, this sparked a backlash, with many pointing to Flair\’s alleged actions on the infamous Plane Ride from Hell. On the flight, Flair allegedly forced at least one flight attendant to touch his genitals without consent. In a new post, Flair dismissed the criticism, saying his posts were harmless.

Harmless or not, Flair’s decision to quietly erase his tweets hasn’t gone unnoticed. We at SEScoops are continuing to wish JR the absolute best in his recovery from surgery.

The roster of AEW has undergone another notable change as Bear Bronson\’s time with the company is coming to an end. On Saturday, May 31, Bronson revealed that his contract expires on June 1 and he will officially become a free agent.

Bronson is best known for his role in the Iron Savages tag team alongside Bear Boulder. In February 2025, it was revealed that Boulder had been fired by AEW following a January arrest on assault charges. The pair signed with AEW in May 2020 though never held tag team gold.

Mariah May has been removed from AEW\’s roster, with many believing that she will be heading to WWE.

Bronson had also been appearing for ROH in addition to AEW. Now, he will have to forge his next wrestling chapter outside of Tony Khan\’s control.

Cena\’s heel turn continues to stun fans, even if the execution of it has fallen flat with some. It remains to be seen if Cena will turn face before his in-ring retirement, but for fans of this run, they will have plenty of time to bring heel Cena to the ring in WWE 2K25.

  • Teddy Long: \”Coward\” John Laurinaitis Abused His WWE Role To Harm Me

John Lauriniaitis was let go from WWE in 2022, thanks in part to his connection to the Vince McMahon scandal. Laurinaitis was initially also listed as a defendant in Janel Grant\’s lawsuit, though has been removed after agreeing to aid her legal team against McMahon and WWE.

Speaking on the Road Trip After Hour podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long discussed Laurinaitis and the recent changes to Grant\’s lawsuit. Long was outraged that Laurinaitis would turn on McMahon, arguing that John would not be the name he is today without Vince.

\”He just turned on the man that made him somebody. He wasn’t nothing until he came to work for Vince.\”

Long went further, claiming that Vince trusted Laurinaitis as Head of Talent Relations, a powerful role that the former Raw General Manager abuse. Long even shared that \”I was one of the guys that he abused,\” but did not share further details behind this claim.

When the show\’s host argued that Laurinaitis was taking a deal to protect himself, Long called it the at of a \”coward.\” Even if Laurinaitis doesn\’t face any legal repercussions for his alleged actions, Long sai that \”he\’s got to live with that for the rest of his life.\”

Long and Laurinaitis shared the screen in 2022 when the pair of WWE General Managers battled it out for brand supremacy. Though the pair have not worked together in years, Long\’s view on \’Big Johnny\’ remains crystal clear.

  • Tough Enough Alum Denied Appeal In 2023 Murder Case

Daniel Rodimer, former WWE wrestler and congressional candidate, has hit a major legal roadblock in his battle with a murder case from 2023. The Court of Appeals of the State of Nevada has denied his petition to dismiss the murder charge he faces, stemming from his alleged involvement with the death of 47-year-old Christopher Tapp.

Rodimer is charged with murdering Tapp, who was allegedly killed after a confrontation at a party at Resorts World Las Vegas. It has been reported that Rodimir believed Tapp was someone who had offered his stepdaughter cocaine. Authorities claim that Rodimer fatally punched and choked Tapp.

Rodimer has pleaded not guilty to the crime, with his defense focusing on claims of inadmissible evidence. While Rodimer had hoped to get the matter dismissed and move on, that will no longer be happening.

Rodimer was part of WWE Tough Enough in 2004, when the format moved from being it\’s own show to being part of WWE SmackDown. Despite losing, he was signed to a developmental contract in 2006. After spending time in Deep South Wrestling and a handful of appearances on WWE Heat, he was released in 2007.

Rodimer is also a name in politics, where he supports the Republican party and has ran for office several times. Now, the political figure/wrestler will have to continue forward with this serious charge against him.

  • John Cena: Logan Paul Embodies Hustle, Loyalty & Respect

John Cena and Logan Paul confronted Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso on WWE SmackDown in Knoxville, and Cena had plenty to say about his new ally. The segment kicked off with Cody discussing his post-WrestleMania 41 absence, before introducing Jey. The fans YEETed along with the duo until Cena interrupted.

The Unseen Seventeen said both men wanted to be like him but they can\’t. John then claimed that only one other man in WWE embodies his mantra of \”hustle, loyalty, and respect,\” and that is Logan Paul. The praise didn\’t stop there as he added that Paul \”does WWE better than any professional wrestler.\”

Paul came out to relish in Cena\’s praise, before Rhodes made a joke about Logan Paul \”polishing John Cena\’s Peacemaker.\” That kick-started a brawl between the four that ended with the babyfaces standing tall.

The two sides will battle at Money in the Bank in a high-stakes tag team match featuring some of WWE\’s biggest stars. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on this build and Cena\’s promise to ruin wrestling before he retires from the ring.

  • The Wyatt Sicks Hijack WWE SmackDown, Tease Title Pursuit

The Wyatt Sicks are officially unleashing chaos in WWE, and made that clear on the May 30 episode of WWE SmackDown from Knoxville, Tennessee.

Uncle Howdy, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, and Nikki Cross arrived on SmackDown and took out several tag teams, a follow-up from their return the previous week. Later in the night, the madness continued when the Wyatt Sicks hijacked the broadcast once again. A chilling message from Uncle Howdy aired mid-show.

“We won’t stop until we get what’s owed.”

This message left fans wondering if the WWE Tag Team Championships are what the Wyatt Sicks believe they are \’owed.\’ So far, the group has yet to ave any championship matches. Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross all have experience holding tag team gold.

Whether loved or feared, the Wyatt Sicks aren’t backing down. With their sights set on tag team gold, fans should expect more destruction until they get what they came for.

  • Jacob Fatu Recalls Losing Yokozuna’s WWE Title as a Kid

Jacob Fatu may one day hold the WWE Championship himself, but if that day comes, he’ll surely be more careful with the title than he was as a child. In a recent interview with the Toronto Sun, the current WWE United States Champion shared a humorous story from his youth involving the late WWE Hall of Famer Yokozuna—and a temporarily missing championship belt.

\”I lost his belt backstage. I lost his belt, yeah, and Earl Hebner found it. It was by the catering. I was young and I was just running around.\”

Fatu reflected fondly on Yokozuna, recalling that he had been thinking of his uncle the day before the interview. The Sacramento native noted the significance of his hometown being where Yokozuna famously won the 1993 Royal Rumble, further deepening the family connection.

\”My dad was like, flicking me in the ear. Like, ‘Man, where the belt at?’ I was a kid. I just remember my uncle wasn’t even tripping. He was just laughing, and I will never forget when Earl came in with the belt, and my uncle was like, ‘See, it’s alright.’

\”He was like, ‘Where\’d you find it?’ And I will never forget what he said. He was like, ‘It was by the cookies and the sodas over there in the catering.\’\”

Today, Jacob Fatu is carving out his own legacy. He captured the WWE United States Championship from LA Knight at WrestleMania 41, and now stands as one of the most dominant rising stars on the roster. Hopefully, with championship gold once again in the family, Fatu will keep a closer eye on his title—especially when stopping by catering.

  • Latest On WWE\’s Plan For The Next NXT Call-Ups

WWE NXT has already seen some major call-ups in 2025 and now more can be expected. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it is reported that Ricky Saints, Stephanie Vaquer, and Jordynne Grace will be making the move to Raw or SmackDown in the near future.

All three Superstars are coming off huge defeats, seemingly marking the end of their NXT runs. Grace failed to dethrone Vaquer as NXT Women\’s Champion at Battleground, while Vaquer would lose the title to Jacy Jayne on the following WWE NXT. Ricky Saints recently lost the NXT North American Championship to Ethan Page.

WWE NXT is already reeling from some notable call-ups, including Giulia who was moved to SmackDown in May 2025. Roxanne Perez has since landed on Raw after appearing on the brand earlier this year. Both have been hits since making the move and will be part of the Women\’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

As for Saints, Vaquer, and Grace, time will tell how they fair upon being called up. While the three saw plenty of success in NXT, making the move to the main roster will test the trio of call-ups.

May is expected to join WWE, Fightful Select reports, following in the footsteps of Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, CM Punk, Ethan Page, Penta, and others. • Karrion Kross On Logan Paul: ‘It’s About the System, Not You\’

Logan Paul’s rapid rise in WWE has been met with criticism by many, and now Karrion Kross has explained his own disdain for the former U.S. Champion. In a video shared to X, Kross reflected on Paul\’s role in WWE, including Paul\’s belief that some have a problem with his position.

“It’s been brought to my attention that somebody in WWE thinks that his peers have a problem with his position in the company. He still doesn’t get it. No one has a problem with his position.”

Kross explained that the real issue isn’t Logan himself, but a systemic shift in the business model, a shift that has left many trying to catch up. While there was a time when wrestlers were told that dedication, in-ring mastery, and character development would eventually earn them, that no longer seems to be the case according to Kross.

“The problem is that for some people who have put 20, even 30 years in, they were told that there was a certain skill set they had to acquire. Putting time in was going to equate to very particular opportunities. This person who believes that everyone has a problem with him—it’s not about him. Anyone could be him.\”

Kross explained that he holds a deep respect for wrestling and the talents that have come before him. That is why he is so furious that being a talented wrestler is now taking a back foot in terms of guaranteeing success, behind being marketable.

“If people were told when they went to professional wrestling schools that they had to build a brand outside of the company in order to position themselves better, that’s exactly what they would have done. Professional wrestlers, in my opinion, have the strongest and greatest work ethic in the world. And if someone had told them that this is what they had to do, they would have done it.”

Kross avoided mentioning Paul by name, but explained that he doesn\’t reject the Maverick outright. On the contrary, Kross acknowledged that Paul has gamed the system to guarantee success without making the sacrifices others have had to make.

“I don’t dislike that person. I think that person’s great. I’ve been on record saying that. They’re very cunning.”

Rather than lashing out, Kross delivered a nuanced reflection on an evolving industry, one that Paul is eager to take advantage of. While traditional wrestlers spend decades working hard to reach just a fraction of the heights Paul has reached, the Maverick continues to use his social media mainstream appeal to further his own career.

  • Matt Hardy: We\’re Working On Jeff\’s Return to Canada

Jeff Hardy hasn\’t competed in Canada for a long time, due to the nation\’s restrictions over letting him in given his past legal troubles. Many fans hope to see Jeff north of the border, and that will hopefully change soon enough.

On his Extreme Life podcast, Matt Hardy reflected about TNA\’s recent return to Canada. While Jeff wasn\’t a part of the taping, Matt shared that the idea of his brother competing in Canada is being worked on.

\”So many of you are excited for Jeff Hardy to one day be back in Canada… we\’re hoping this will be something that happens sooner rather than later.\”

Whenever TNA travels to Canada, the promotion writes Jeff off TV to explain why he won\’t be appearing. Instead of his brother, Matt teamed with Leon Slater to challenge TNA World Tag Team Champions Nic and Ryan Nemeth at Under Siege.

As for Jeff, he remains a massively popular name in wrestling, despite his run-ins with the law. As for appearing in Canada, time will tell if he ever gets the chance.

  • Kacy Catanzaro on WWE Release: \’I Never Found Myself\’

Kacy Catanzaro, better known to WWE fans as Katana Chance, was released in May 2025, bringing her near-eight-year tenure to an end. While speaking on the Lightweights podcast, Catanzaro reflected on her time with WWE and the feeling that much more could have been done.

\”I don’t know if I ever fully was able to really find myself in it. Because when you’re in there and then you’re getting on TV, you’re kind of put in these spots and you’re needed to be a specific thing right away.\”

Catanzaro aded that while talent can try different characters out, it is management who will have the final say over what they are. Catanzaro regrets that she was never given the opportunity to find herself in WWE, believing things could have been different if she had.

\”That was an ongoing struggle of mine throughout my journey, which is—I don’t know that I actually ever got to do that. You know what I mean? And fully find if I was myself or, like, whatever I wanted to be with no restrictions, like what it would have been. You know what I mean?\”

Catanzaro leaves WWE as a former NXT Women\’s Tag Team Champion and WWE Women\’s Tag Team Champion, both reigns alongside Kayden Carter. Now, she hopes to prove why WWE cutting her was a mistake, and also find herself in the process.
