  • Multi-Generation Star Shows Off Nasty Injury After Brutal WWE NXT Match

Uriah Connors is experiencing the painful realities of life in the ring after stepping inside the ring with Dark State. The fourth-generation WWE star and son of Fit Finlay suffered a brutal mouth injury during the June 3 episode of NXT, and he hasn’t hesitated to show fans just how real things got.

Connors teamed with Andre Chase and Kale Dixon as part of Chase U, but the trio fell to Darkstate’s Cutler James, Dion Lennox, and Osiris Griffin. The loss wasn’t Connors’ only takeaway from the night. Shortly after the match, he took to social media with a graphic injury update that had fans cringing.

The 20-year-old prospect later shared that he underwent dental work to repair the damage. Still in obvious discomfort, Connors kept his sense of humor.

Previously known as Brogan Finlay, Connors signed with WWE in December 2023. He made his televised debut during NXT Roadblock in March 2024 in a match against Shawn Spears. By April, he had officially joined the revamped Chase U faction, continuing the Finlay family’s storied wrestling legacy. Though he\’ll be back in the ring soon enough, he may have to think twice the next time he\’s offered a match against Dark State.

  • Apollo Crews Graduates from College Amid WWE Injury

Apollo Crews hasn\’t competed for a long time, but now the former Intercontinental and United States Champion has reached a massive accomplishment out of the ring. On social media, Crews revealed that he has graduated college from Auburn University with honors.

\”It took 37 years, but we got it done! It\’s never too late to do anything! Today, it is official! College graduate with honors!—-?–I originally attended Auburn University, but left before finishing to chase my dream of becoming a Wrestler. I’m glad I decided to go back and finish what I started all those years ago.\”

Crews\’ news shared a flurry of positive messages from fans and wrestlers alike. Natalya, Andrade, Mark Henry, and JD McDonagh were among those who shared their excitement at seeing Crews graduate.

  • Mercedes Moné Wins Another Title in Vienna, Austria Surprise

AEW\’s Mercedes Moné has added another title to her growing list of accolades—this time from Austria. Moné made a surprise appearance at the European Wrestling Association\’s Prater Catchen event in Vienna, the promotion’s biggest annual show. In a triple-threat match, Moné defeated Mila Smidt and reigning champion Lexa Valo to capture the EWA Women’s Championship.

The EWA Women’s title is the latest addition to Moné’s already impressive championship collection. The AEW star has held the TBS Championship for over a year and currently reigns as Rev Pro\’s Undisputed Women’s Champion. At Double or Nothing, she added the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Championship to her résumé by defeating Jamie Hayter in the finals. Previously, Moné also held the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship, which she recently lost to AZM.

Next on her radar is the AEW Women’s World Championship. Moné is scheduled to face current champion Toni Storm at AEW All In: Texas, where she hopes to continue her gold-laden run. Whether she adds another major title to her name remains to be seen.

  • Cody and Brandi Rhodes Won’t Push Daughter Toward Wrestling

Liberty Rhodes, daughter of Cody and Brandi Rhodes, may come from wrestling royalty, but there\’s no expectation for her to follow in the family\’s footsteps. Speaking with BET, Brandi Rhodes shared that despite being surrounded by the wrestling world, Liberty has yet to actually watch a match.

“She runs around the ring and plays, but she has no idea what’s going on. She’s turning four this month and has never seen a wrestling match. That’s a personal decision. One day she’ll get it—but there’s no pressure.”

With her father Cody, mother Brandi, uncle Dustin Rhodes, and late grandfather Dusty Rhodes all deeply rooted in wrestling, Liberty certainly has the pedigree. Still, her future isn’t being mapped out for her.

“Every time I post her, someone’s like, ‘Next generation!’ And I’m like—maybe not. If she wants to wrestle, sure. But just because her parents did it doesn’t mean she has to.”

While Liberty\’s path remains open, her father’s wrestling plans are more defined. Cody Rhodes is set to team with Jey Uso to face John Cena and Logan Paul at WWE Money in the Bank 2025. Brandi will be cheering him on—but both parents are united in letting Liberty choose her own path, wrestling or otherwise.

  • Bret Hart: Vince McMahon Is A Predator

Vince McMahon officially resigned from WWE and TKO Holdings in 2024 following Janel Grant filing her lawsuit claiming sexual abuse and trafficking. Speaking on The Rise Guys, Bret Hart was asked for his take on McMahon in 2025.

“But, you know, I’ve had my ups and downs with Vince McMahon. In a lot of ways, I have a lot of respect for him. But at the same time, I find what happened there inexcusable. There’s no place for that.”

Hart went further, stating he believes McMahon became a predator who used the wrestling industry as a facade for his misconduct. For Hart, McMahon\’s actions demonstrate how massive wealth corrupts people.

“I think Vince McMahon became a predator and used wrestling as his backdrop for all of his evil. And it just tells me that too much money can turn you into a bad person. And it’s true.”

Grant\’s lawsuit was initially filed against McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis, the latter of whom has been dropped as a defendant. In exchange, the former Raw and SmackDown General Manager is now reportedly cooperating in the case against McMahon. As the legal process unfolds, it’s clear that Hart’s perspective on McMahon is firmly set—and unlikely to change.

  • Julia Reilly, TNA Wrestling\’s Claire Lynch, Passes Away

Julia Reilly—best known to wrestling fans as Claire Lynch from one of TNA’s most infamous storylines has sadly passed away. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Reilly died two months ago in Orlando. Her body was discovered in her home after she failed to appear for a scheduled event. It is believed she died of natural causes.

Reilly debuted in TNA in 2012 as Claire Lynch, a character who, according to storyline, had an affair with AJ Styles and was supposedly pregnant with his child. The angle, driven by Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, became a central plot point until fans took things too far once Reilly\’s true identity was revealed.

Reilly faced intense online harassment across her personal platforms—including her website, YouTube channel, and LinkedIn profile. The backlash quickly escalated, prompting her to exit the storyline abruptly. Her exit was explained on TV with a statement from Lynch\’s \’lawyer,\’ who revealed that AJ Styles was not the father and that she had never been pregnant.

Reilly later explained that she left the role out of concern for her long-term career. The response was so severe that she reportedly never included the TNA appearance on her acting resume again. In recent years, Reilly worked as a presenter and MC for events in Central Florida, like trade shows.

We at SEScoops would like to share our condolences to Reilly\’s friends, family, and those who knew her at this sad time.

  • Joe Hendry Breaks Silence On TNA World Title Loss: I Let Everyone Down

WWE NXT Battleground saw the end of Joe Hendry\’s time as TNA World Champion as the title is now in the possession of WWE NXT\’s Trick Williams. On the latest episode of TNA iMPACT, Hendry broke is silence on the defeat.

“I lost the TNA World Championship to Trick Williams and it’s hard for me because this last year has just been a whirlwind… I just felt we were taking TNA to new heights… and now the World Championship is in the hands of someone that does not work here.”

Hendry admitted that he \”dropped the ball,\” despite being the \’team captain\’ of TNA while as champion. Saying that he\’s left his fans and peers down, Hendry believes there\’s only one thing that can make this right.

“I want nothing more but to get another shot at Trick Williams… but I understand that’s not my spot right now. Elijah is next and he deserves it and I support him against all odds.”

For Hendry, holding the TNA World Championship wasn\’t just a goal in his wrestling career. Holding the title meant a full-circle moment for the man who grew up watching TNA.

“I started watching TNA in 2002, back when I was in high school. I did not feel that I was going to amount to much… Pro wrestling inspired me to be better and that’s carried on through my adult life.”

Now, Hendry is hungry for his second title reign, but recognizes that Elijah will have the next shot at Williams. Will either man bring the TNA World Championship back to TNA, or will it be Williams who holds the gold hostage for a long time to come?

Starrcast will be just one part of a stacked week that will culminate with All In: Texas this July. With AEW\’s first stadium event drawing near, expected a packed week in the Lone Star state.

  • R-Truth is Happy After WWE Exit, Claims Hall of Famer

R-Truth has been released from WWE, in a major shock to fans given Truth\’s longevity and popularity within the promotion. Speaking on the Road Trip After Hours podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long said that Truth is happy despite losing jis job.

“I talked to Truth, and he’s happy with it. I saw his statement that he made after the release. So you know, it’s like this with me. If Truth is happy, I love it.\”

Long believes that this change \”may be the best thing to ever happen\” to R-Truth, as it\’ll provide him opportunities outside of WWE. Joking that Truth needs to discuss his future with Lil\’ Jimmy, Long is excited to see what\’s to come.

While Truth is allegedly happy, wrestling fans are anything but. Fans remain outraged over WWE\’s decision, resulting in loud \’We Want Truth\’ chants during Raw. After the show, CM Punk addressed the backlash, poking fun at fans who chanted for him during his break from WWE.

Questions remain about Truth\’s future post-WWE but it appears he is remaining positive despite this setback. Stay tuned for the latest on Truth and his next steps in the ring.

  • Mariah May Signs With Paradigm Talent After WWE Debut

Fresh off her WWE debut, Mariah May is already making moves beyond the ring. Deadline reports that May has signed with the Paradigm Talent Agency, laying the groundwork for expansion into film, television, branding, and digital ventures.

May debuted on the June 3, edition of WWE NXT during a segment involving several women on the roster. The Glamour made her intentions clear, declaring that she will be the one to dethrone new NXT Women\’s Champion Jacy Jayne.

May enters the company with major momentum after a standout run in AEW. The London-born 26-year-old won the AEW Women’s World Championship in front of over 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium during All In: London 2024, and held the gold for months before losing it back to Toni Storm. May\’s final AEW appearance came at AEW Revolution 2025, where she lost to Storm in their \’Hollywood Ending\’ match.

May now joins a stacked Paradigm roster alongside Tiffany Stratton, Liv Morgan, Jade Cargill, and Alexa Bliss. With this signing, fans may soon be seeing much more of The Glamour, both in and out of the ring.

  • Mark Nash on Joining WWE and Triple H’s Unexpected Text

Mark Nash joined WWE earlier this year as the newest ring announcer for SmackDown, following in the footsteps of legends like Howard Finkel, Tony Chimel, Samantha Irvin, and others. In an interview with You Know I\’m Right, Nash shared the surprising way his WWE journey began—with a text from Triple H that he initially thought was a scam.

\”I almost didn’t pay attention to it because I thought it could’ve been like a political solicitation—like, ‘Give me $50 for this politician.’ But I read the whole text, and I was like, ‘What? All right, cool.’”

The message arrived at a pivotal moment, just as Nash\’s role with Top Rank Boxing was ending. Within days, he transitioned from boxing to a new chapter as a WWE announcer.

\”They told me, ‘You’re going to take the final SmackDown in London.’ To host anything, let alone a SmackDown at the O2 with such an iconic fan base—was something special.\”

Like many, Mark Nash uses a stage name in WWE, but wanted to use his real name of Mark Shunock. After being told that wasn\’t an option, Nash\’s name didn\’t come from a certain Diesel-powered WWE Hall of Famer, but from closer to home.

\”My mother’s maiden name is Nasser, and my father’s last name is Shunock. So I took the first two letters from my mother’s maiden name and the last two letters from my dad’s surname and put them together.\”

The name received the approval of Nash\’s family who have been supporting his WWE journey every step of the fan. Now fans can look ahead to many more calls from WWE\’s newest announcer.

  • Natalya Praises \’Total Package\’ Mariah May After WWE NXT Debut

Mariah May arrived in WWE during the June 3, edition of WWE NXT, and Natalya could not be happier. Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Natalya shared her excitement for the former AEW Women\’s World Champion.

“I’m excited for her and I think this is going to be a fun chapter for her... I’m excited to see the stories that she’s going to tell with the women at NXT. I’m excited to see her.\”

May is the latest high-profile woman to join WWE, following the likes of Giulia, Zaria, Jordynne Grace and Stephanie Vauqer. Focusing on the latter, Natalya acknowledged the similarities between Vaquer and May.

“Mariah has a similar journey where, like, you know, she went out and explored the world before coming to WWE. She was a fan. She loved it. She… wanted to pursue this. Then she moved to Japan and she, like, basically became a student of the game.”

Mariah may be known as \’The Glamour\’ but she\’s not afraid to get down and dirty (and bloody) when needed. While blood in women\’s matches remains a massive rarity in WWE, Natalya is aware that May isn\’t afraid to get messy.

\”If you get busted open in the ring… she’s shown she can work through it. I remember Trish Stratus… she broke her nose in a match and then she just kept wrestling… I think Mariah May has that grit about her.\”

Natalya went as far as to call May the \”total package\” who succeeds in wrestling ability, talking, presentation, and other vital components. The Queen of Harts signed off, not with admiration for May, but a challenge.

“I would not be against facing her, I just wanted to put that out there.”

On WWE NXT, May declared herself the next NXT Women\’s Champion. It remains to be seen if May can mirror her AEW success now as a WWE Superstar.

  • Latest On Liv Morgan Alleged Stalker, Second Arrest At WWE PC

As previously reported, an individual allegedly stalking Liv Morgan was arrested outside the WWE Performance Center in Orlando on Tuesday night, June 3, 2025, during WWE NXT. Now more has come to light about this situation, as well as a second arrest made in the area.

Pw Insider is reporting that multiple police vehicles were seen near the venue as fans were taken back to their cars via a bus. The alleged stalker was apprehended outside the WWE Performance Center. The arrest was reportedly made by a larger law enforcement agency, not local police and at this time, the suspect remains in custody.

A second arrest, unrelated to Liv Morgan, was made, and was reportedly related to a fight outside the venue. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement to confirm that 41-year-old Shawn Chan was taken into custody near the WWE facility. It was not confirmed if this individual was related to the Morgan situation or if he was arrested due to the fight.

WWE has dealt with serious stalking incidents involving talent in the past, including individuals stalking Saraya and Sonya Deville. A man who smeared feces on the Performance Center wall was shot by police in 2015.

  • WWE Isn\’t WWE Anymore, Claims Former Tag Team Champions

WWE\’s days of being a wrestling promotion catered towards wrestling fans are over, at least according to two talents released from the company this year. On a recent episode of their Talk\’n Shop podcast, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson weighed in on recent developments in WWE, including the release of R-Truth. Anderson shared his take that WWE isn\’t a wrestling company in the traditional sense anymore, but merely an extension of TKO Group Holdings.

“It’s not the WWE anymore, guys. It’s a company called TKO.”

Gallows echoed the sentiment that WWE can\’t be considered WWE anymore, adding:

“I don’t look at WWE as WWE anymore. They’re TKO now — and that’s great. That’s good for them. It’s not the same thing.”

TKO officially launched in September 2023 and saw WWE and UFC come together under one media powerhouse. Since then, several changes have been made, including the introduction of in-ring sponsors at PLEs and at TV events. While WWE will continue to move forward, the future of WWE looks vastly different from its past, according to Gallows and Anderson.

  • Deonna Purrazzo Prediction Comes True With Latest AEW Dynamite Snub

Deonna Purrazzo recently threw shade at her handling in AEW with a bold prediction about her use, or lack thereof, during AEW Dynamite. Now, that show has aired, and Purrazzo\’s issues with the company have proven to be perfectly valid.

This began on X when a fan asked if Purrazzo will be “pulling up to Dynamite.\” The Virtuosa responded that she\’d only be appearing “During picture in picture, probably\”, a dig at how little she has been used in the ring.

During the June 4, edition of AEW Dynamite, Purrazzo did make an appearance, albeit not in the ring. True to her prediction, Purrazzo appeared during a picture-in-picture segment as part of a commercial for Southern New Hampshire University.

Purrazzo\’s appearance on the show sparked a discussion online, prompting the wrestler to weigh in. In a post on X, Purrazzo spoke about being honored to play a part in the commercial, and had no idea it was going to air during Dynamite.

Though Purrazzo did not intend her initial post as anything more than a joke, many are frustrated with how little the former TNA Knockouts World Champion has been used. With no sign of her next AEW appearance, fans may be waiting a long time to see her in action.

  • Bishop Dyer Praises Tony Khan\’s Support for AEW Talent

Former WWE Superstar Bishop Dyer has yet to work for Tony Khan, but the wrestler has praised the AEW President for taking care of his talent. Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Dyer, better known to fans as Baron Corbin, spoke highly of Khan, revealing that the AEW head has done things WWE would not have done for its wrestlers.

\”I can tell you Tony Khan cares about his employees. I know things that are not public that he\’s done for talent that I think in WWE\’s world would not be done that way.\”

Dyer didn\’t give examples of Khan\’s actions, though it\’s no secret that the AEW President often goes the extra mile. Khan can often be found making massive donations to GoFundMe\’s to aid wrestlers, including donating $10,000 to Kevin Sullivan\’s medical expenses in 2024.

Whether Dyer, a former NXT Tag Team Champion, one day appears for the promotion that once directly competed with WWE NXT, that remains to be seen. With that said, it\’s clear that the Lone Wolf has a high estimation of the AEW President.

  • Sheamus: R-Truth Will Return to WWE One Day

R-Truth has been released from WWE, but Sheamus isn\’t concerned for the future of the former WWE 24/7 Champion. Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Sheamus shared his belief that Truth\’s return to WWE isn\’t a question of if, but when..

\”So many guys and girls—have left and come back. It’s not the end. Sometimes it’s a bit of a breakThere’s no way Truth’s not going to come back at some stage. I’m sure you’ll see him again. Like, a Hall of Famer. He’s definitely a pillar.\”

Sheamus\’ connection to Truth extends beyond merely being a colleague of the released talent. In the interview, the four-time WWE World Champion shared how his first WWE match was against none other than R-Truth.

\”We had a dark match together on the road, and from then we bonded. That fella walks in the dressing room and it’s just… laugh. He’s got a contagious laugh that would just light up the room.\”

Sheamus also believes that Carlito will return to WWE TV one day, despite his contract not being renewed. The Irish Superstar, who marks 16 years since his own WWE arrival this month, declared \”If you truly want to find your way back, you’ll find your way back.\”

Sheamus\’ positive outlook on these releases comes in stark contrast to the waves of backlash WWE has received in recent days. For Sheamus, fans can expect to see Truth and Carlito in some capacity on WWE TV down the line.

  • Kevin Owens\’ Surgery Still Hasn\’t Happened: \’We\’ll Figure It Out\’

A neck injury robbed Kevin Owens of competing at WrestleMania 41, an injury that could keep the Canadian out of the ring for the rest of this year and beyond. Speaking to e10Sport, Owens gave the latest on his situation.

“I still haven’t had the operation. There are a lot of things to consider before the surgery. We’re waiting a bit to see how things evolve naturally. There’s no doubt that I need surgery, but before going through with it, we just need to see how much it can… not recover, because it won’t recover, but improve slightly without surgery.\”

Owens shared news of his injury on an episode of SmackDown, though reports of the setback came to light hours before the show. In the interview, Owens explained that the issues with his neck have been going back for some time.

“I had doubts for several months that there was something really abnormal. But it took several months before we diagnosed the actual injury. We found out two days before I made the announcement on SmackDown that I wouldn’t be able to be at WrestleMania and that I had to stop wrestling immediately.”

Owens reiterated that despite any reports to the contrary, he has not had surgery yet, adding that \”we\’ll figure it out.\” As fans eagerly await updates on the former Universal Champion, it\’s clear that a return to the ring remains a long way away.

  • Roxanne Perez Wants Taylor Swift For \’Groundbreaking\’ WWE Role

Roxanne Perez has made a splash in WWE in her years with the company, and now she\’d love to see Taylor Swift step into the ring. In a conversation on Sports Illustrated’s YouTube channel, Perez was asked which celebrity or pro athlete she’d want to see compete in WWE and was quick to name the music icon.

\”I don’t know if we would actually ever see it, but I’m a big fan of Taylor Swift. So, I mean, could you imagine just seeing her in a WWE ring? I think that would be pretty groundbreaking and kind of crazy.\”

Though she is yet to lace up her boots for in-ring action, Swift does have some connections to the world of pro wrestling. The 14-time Grammy Award-winning artist spent her younger years babysitting for Jeff Jarrett, and helped the Jarrett family immensely during the final years of the life of Jeff\’s first wife. In late 2023, Swift was spotted with WWE\’s Baron Corbin at a Kansas City Chiefs game with both cheering on Swift\’s boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The mere idea of Taylor Swift making a WWE appearance—even briefly—would be a media sensation, drawing attention from both the entertainment world and sports outlets. While it seems unlikely, fans know to never say never in the world of WWE.

  • Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins Host LA Weather Ahead of Money in the Bank

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins are a true power-couple in wrestling, but the pair tag-teamed recently to present the Los Angeles weather. Days ahead of WWE Money in the Bank, Rollins and Lynch hosted a lighthearted weather forecast for KTLA.

Neither Superstar shied away from making reference to their WWE roles. When presenting the weekend update, Rollins relished in a sunny time coming to LA, telling viewers \”I love it. Crank it up, burn it down, as you might say.”

Lynch wrapped up by hyping up WWE Money in the Bank. While she wants those in LA to join the nice weather on June 7, making it back to watch the PLE will be a must.

“So you might wanna go to the beach on Saturday, but remember to be back in time for Money in the Bank. Go to the beach in the morning, but come back for Money in the Bank when it’ll be a little cooler.”

Becky Lynch is scheduled to challenge Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, while Seth Rollins will compete in the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. With both entering high-profile matches, it could be a perfect weekend for the duo underneath a beautiful LA sun.

  • Mariah May on WWE Debut: \’It\’s About Damn Time!\’

Mariah May has landed in WWE NXT with an exciting debut during the June 3, episode of the silver brand. In her first comments after making her debut as a WWE NXT Superstar, The Glamor made clear that her arrival has been a long time coming.

\”It\’s about damn time! I\’ve wrestled all over the world and it\’s only right that the glamour arrives in NXT.\”

While May sees her WWE NXT debut as a long time coming, it has been reported that her AEW deal only expired at the start of June 2025. During her time with Tony Khan\’s promotion, May held the AEW Women\’s World Championship once, winning the title in her native England at All In: London 2024. May\’s final match was fittingly the \’Hollywood Ending\’ with Toni Storm at AEW Revolution 2025.

Now, May is in WWE NXT and has her sights set on gold. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Mariah May and her future in the wrestling juggernaut.

  • Trick Williams Retains World Title on NXT Thanks to TNA Interference

WWE NXT\’s Trick Williams is still the TNA World Champion, thanks to the efforts of some members of the TNA roster. During the June 3, episode of WWE NXT, Williams marked his first title defense by putting the gold on the line against Mike Santana.

Santana proved to be a worthy challenger to Williams in what was the rightful main event of a stacked episode. TNA wrestler Elijah was sat in the crowd to watch the match as he is next in line for a shot at the TNA World Championship.

During the climax of the match, Williams would trash-talk with Elijah before Trick grabbed Elijah\’s guitar and smashed it on the ring steps. Amid the chaos, TNA\’s AJ Francis and Casey Navarro jumped Santana and bounced him off the announce table. Williams would get back in the ring and hit the Trick Shot to retain the TNA World Championship.

Williams\’ victory cements his control over the TNA World Champion but he will now have to look ahead to a showdown with Elijah. It remains to be seen if Williams can retain or if Elijah will bring the gold back home to TNA Wrestling.

  • Sting Superfans Get Engaged At Wrestling Icon\’s Meet-and-Greet

Two fans of Sting were thrilled to meet the icon, and made their meet-and-greet even more special by getting engaged. On X, Sting shared footage of the two fans who got engaged and offered his congratulations to Angel and Crystal.

Sting retired from in-ring competition in 2024 and ended his AEW career undefeated with a tag-team victory at the Revolution pay-per-view. Though his in-ring career is over, Sting remains under contract with AEW and appeared at the All In: London 2024 pay-per-view.

Though his in-ring career is over, Sting continues to hold a significant presence in wrestling and is a regular at conventions and similar events. This year marks the last year Sting will feature his iconic face paint before retiring the design in 2026. With that in mind, Angel and Crystal\’s engagement was even more special, and we wish them all the best on their upcoming nuptials.

  • Update On Mariah May\’s WWE Debut, Potential Name Change

Former AEW Women’s World Champion “The Glamour” Mariah May has officially joined WWE, making her debut during the June 3, edition of WWE NXT. May appeared on the balcony during a segment involving NXT Women\’s Champion Jacy Jayne and made her intentions to win the gold crystal clear.

According to Fightful Select, May’s surprise appearance was kept under tight wraps. Sources say only a select few within WWE were aware of her involvement ahead of time, with even staff in the Gorilla position reportedly learning about the segment just moments before it aired.

May has now signed a multi-year contract with WWE, the report adds. Behind the scenes, internal movement had already begun to prepare for her arrival, including several recent NXT call-ups to the main roster. Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Roxanne Perez have all been moved to the main roster, with Jordynne Grace expected to join them shortly.

May was officially removed from AEW’s online roster on May 31, though her management initially claimed she was still under contract. New reports suggest her deal quietly expired at the start of June. AEW had shown interest in retaining her but May clearly felt that a move to WWE was the right decision.

It’s unclear whether she’ll continue using the Mariah May name in WWE, as May didn\’t state her name on the show, and WWE\’s social media accounts have avoided giving her name. Some see this as similar to Ricky Starks, as WWE avoided using his name before rebranding him as Ricky Saints. According to a report from WrestleVotes, May is expected to receive a new ring name, though this has not been confirmed.
