Mariah May just made her impact known in WWE by making her debut during the June 3, edition of WWE NXT. As the women’s division descended into chaos, the lights dropped and May appeared on the balcony, earning a massive reaction from the crowd in attendance.

May declared that \”The best women’s division in the world just got a lot more glamorous\” to another loud pop. Now, May has made her intentions clear, she plans on being WWE NXT Women\’s Champion. Looking into the eyes of Jacy Jayne, May made herself clear, declaring \”I’m the next NXT Women’s Champion.\”

Mariah May is the latest AEW alum to jump to WWE, following the likes of Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, CM Punk, and others. It remains to be seen if May will have similar success to her former and new colleagues now she is a WWE Superstar.

  • AEW\’s The Young Bucks Discussing Starting A New Wrestling Promotion

Matt Jackson isn’t just focused on a potential Being The Elite revival, or his role in AEW, but may soon be the figurehead of another wrestling promotion. During a recent live stream, Matt discussed the idea he\’s shared with his brother to have another wrestling company under their control.

\”Me and Nick have talked about it a lot. We’ve talked about buying PWG and reopening. We’ve talked about starting our own indie. We’ve talked about a wrestling school. I don’t know. In the next few years though, if we’re gonna do something, it’ll probably happen in the next few.”

Purchasing PWG would be a full-circle moment for the Bucks, given that their matches with the company proved to be instant classics among indie wrestling fans. Taking over the promotion would represent a new chapter in their PWG connection, while launching a school or new promotion would cement their legacy by shaping the next wave of talent.

While nothing is confirmed yet, the interest is clearly there—and fans of the independent scene are taking notice. It may be just a matter of time before the AEW EVPs hold management roles in PWG.

The stock boasts an aggregate market value of $4,506,580.17. The filing notes, \”The securities to be sold were acquired upon the vesting of restricted stock units during
the period of 07/20/2023 through 01/02/2025.\”

Khan joined WWE in 2020 and has worked his way up the promotion in rapid fashion. Today, Khan is responsible for some of the company\’s biggest financial decisions. Khan can also be found speaking about WWE and TKO at media events and sharing his pearls of wisdom about how to succeed in a high-octane business.

Khan isn\’t the only name to part ways with some of their stock in TKO. In April 2024, Vince McMahon severed his ties to WWE by selling his remaining shares in TKO. The sale marked the end of McMahon\’s association with WWE, a connection that had been forged over half-a-century earlier.

TKO\’s stock is currently worth $161.68 per share on the stock market.

  • Bear Bronson: I Was Told to Just Be Grateful in AEW

Bear Bronson\’s time with AEW has ended and the powerhouse isn\’t holding back in his revelations about the company. Speaking on The Wrestling Junkies podcast, Bronson shared how his time with AEW, despite being his biggest exposure in wrestling, was not all he had hoped.

\”You\’re surrounded by a lot of people that pressure you to \’just be grateful. Be grateful you\’re getting used for that minute and 30 seconds.\’\”

Bronson tried to force himself to be happy as he watched friends reach much bigger milestones, including World Championship victories. While others were moving on to bigger things, Bronson\’s plateau and the attitude of those around him took a toll.

\”I have a lot of people looking down on me saying, \’Just be happy you\’re used at all.\’ That kind of gets to you.\”

Bronson\’s AEW run wasn\’t all bad, as he made clear that he\’s \”still grateful that over the past four years I\’ve gotten to grow with AEW.\” Bronson acknowledged that being part of AEW is \”something people would kill for,\” signalling that he\’s aware of the opportunity he had.

Now, Bronson\’s future in wrestling remains to be decided, but given the legal trouble of Bear Boulder, a tag-team reunion is far from certain. Whatever comes next, Bronson is ready to prove why he\’s worth much more than the 90 seconds he was expected to be grateful for in AEW.

  • WWE Alum Gave Himself An Hour to Cry After Recent Release

WWE has severed ties with several wrestlers in 2025, from staples like R-Truth and Braun Strowman to younger talent in WWE NXT. Speaking with Scott’s Scoop, Javier Bernal discussed the moment he learned that his time with the silver brand was over.

\”I’ll tell you this much. I was in the shower when I got the call. I was washing my hair. And I’m like, oh, great. So, of course, I got out and saw it.\”

Javier wasn\’t home alone at the time of the unfortunate news as his wife Tatum Paxley also learned of his release. While Paxley has remained in WWE NXT and survived the cuts, she was broken by news of Bernal\’s departure.

\”My wife had a worse reaction than I did. She was sobbing and all that. I just had to be strong for a little bit. I was mad. You know, I was mad. I was pissed off.\”

Bernal couldn\’t help but be angry, but realized that wallowing in this anger would not do him any good. Instead, Bernal gave himself time to process what had happened before making plans for the future.

\”I gave myself an hour to be mad, and then I got to work because I couldn’t just stop. Life doesn’t stop when this stops. So, I gave myself an hour to cry, and then we got to work.\”

It remains unclear what’s next for Javier Bernal in his wrestling journey, one thing is certain—he’s not giving up. Fans will have to wait and see where he lands, but his determination to move forward is already evident.

  • Kelly Kelly Wishes She Could Forget \”Cringe\” WWE Exposé

Barbie Blank—better known to WWE fans as Kelly Kelly, wishes that she could forget all about her early days on WWE programming. In a new interview on The Wrestling Classic YouTube channel, Blank recalled debuting as an \’exhibitionist\’ in 2006 and her weekly segments where she teased going topless.

\”The Exposé by myself is cringe… having to go out there on national television and do a strip piece by myself every week… I wish we could leave that in the past.”

Kelly\’s Exposé would later become the Extreme Exposé as Brooke Adams and Layla would align with Blank. In the interview, Blank said that the segments became far more bearable when she wasn\’t alone, even if she was still a \”terrible dancer\” at the time.

With WWE making strides in women\’s representation, odds are fans will never see a character introduced by wanting to take her clothes off. For Barbie Blank, her arrival in WWE shows that anything and everything can happen in the Sports Entertainment juggernaut.

  • Matt Jackson Teases Being The Elite Revival, BTE: The Movie

Being the Elite proved to be a hit among wrestling fans as it gave a behind-the-scenes look at AEW and its colorful cast of characters. Now, the show of fun wrestling-related skits may be on its way back, as well as a potential feature-length film project.

During a recent steam, Matt Jackson teased that \”some high up in AEW\” has been pushing for the show to be brought back. Not only that, but Jackson and others have discussed creating \’BTE: The Movie.\’

Being the Elite wrapped in late 2023 after a seven-year run, much to the disappointment of fans of the Bucks, Kenny Omega, and others. In an interview with Adi Shankar in 2025, Omega discussed why the show ended and was hesitant about a return.

\”Who did we hurt by doing this? Nobody. Who’d we hurt if we did it again today? Nobody. But it would offend somebody, and then that somebody would go out of their way to make sure they would hurt us.\”

Whether Being the Elite returns, or even gets a movie, time will tell, but the series may not be as finished as first thought.

  • Adam \’Pacman\’ Jones Slams WWE Over Cutting \’Best Team Mate\’ R-Truth

WWE\’s decision to relase R-Truth has spawned a backlash among fans, and now a former ally of Truth has weighed in on his exit. Speaking on his “Politely Raw” podcast, Adam \’Pacman\’ Jones didn\’t hold back on Truth\’s release.

\”This is bulls****! A friend of mine, R-Truth, being released by WWE. Truth [is] one of the fan\’s favorite.\”

Jones is more than a fan of Truth, but the pair were tag-team partners in TNA Wrestling. While Jones\’ NFL commitments at the time meant he couldn\’t get physical in matches, the former football player remembered the team fondly.

\”I wrestled with him in TNA. This guy is a true professional and the best team mate I\’ve ever had on a Sunday. We won the tag team championships together.\”

When Jones\’ co-host asked if WWE should have done better by Truth, Jones shared that he believes so. Jones went as far as to say WWE \’dropped the ball,\’ belieivng WWE could have done much more with the veteran.

\”Hell yeah, f***ing right. He\’s a true professional. I\’ve never seen him get out of character of what he\’s doing… You [WWE] don\’t even give the fans a last time to see him. They dropped the ball. 100%.\”

Jones is one of many taking issue with Truth\’s abrupt exit from WWE. It remains to be seen where Truth\’s future in the ring takes him next.

  • Clue About El Grande Americano\’s Identity Spotted On WWE Raw

El Grande Americano made his WWE \’debut\’ earlier this year but there has been questions about the man behind the mask. Some have accused Americano of being Chad Gable, a claim that has grown support following the June 2, 2025, episode of WWE Raw.

Gable has routinely denied being El Grande Americano, and even expressed his anger that Americano had a WrestleMania match while he didn\’t. Now, Americano will compete in the Men\’s Money in the Bank ladder match, a bout that could put him in the World Title picture.

As for Gable, he lost his Money in the Bank qualifier, but he may still be noticeably busy on June 7, according to some members of the WWE Universe.

  • CM Punk Addresses R-Truth Backlash After WWE Raw

With a smirk, Punk sarcastically commented “How dare you sing someone’s name when they’re not here?” This comment drew laughter from the fans, many of whom will remember Punk\’s name being chanted during his years away from WWE.

Fans chanted for Truth multiple times during WWE Raw, a sign that the audience are not ready to move on from what they see as an unfair release. While TKO may no longer have seen any value in Truth, fans at Raw and around the world feel very differently.

Sarah Logan\’s time with WWE has come to an end once again, and now her long time ally Ivar has broken his silence about the major change. On X, Ivar shared a brief but emotional tribute.

The message came shortly after Logan, known to fans as Valhalla, posted a heartfelt goodbye on Instagram. In her statement, she revealed that WWE had informed her they would not be renewing her contract. Logan also declared that she was through with wrestling, at least on her social media page.

“My social media page won’t be about you anymore. It will share only the parts of me that I wish, and none of that will be wrestling.”

Alongside Logan and her real-life husband Erik, the trio formed The War Raiders, a Viking-inspired unit that had been a hit with fans. While Valhalla only competed in a handful of matches during her most recent WWE run, she remained a defining presence in the team’s overall presentation. Earlier this year, Valhalla stepped away as she and Erik welcomed their second child.

Now, with WWE closing the chapter on Valhalla, Ivar’s tribute sends a clear message: their connection extends far beyond the ring.

    \"Carlito

Carlito confirmed his WWE departure with a sarcastic—but pointed—tweet earlier this week. In the post, he joked that WWE had accused him of \’stealing money\’ before making clear he was grateful for all the company had done for him.

The former U.S., Intercontinental, and Tag Team Champion returned to WWE in 2023 and aligned with the Judgment Day in 2024. Now, his future will be outside WWE, and while he\’s gone, he\’s clearly not forgotten.

  • WWE Alum Accuses Triple H Of Stealing Gimmick for NXT Talent

WWE NXT is home to an array of colorful characters, but one gimmick in particular is now being accused of being \’stolen.\’ On X, former WWE Superstar Vito claimed that his mafioso character was being ripped off by Triple H to benefit the likes of Tony D\’Angelo and Channing \’Stacks\’ Lorenzo.

I’ve got an honest question for Triple H. I’ve lived this lifestyle my whole life. I’ve been doing this gimmick since 1999. I’m still the Don in the squared circle, but this kid—who has publicly disrespected me—has stolen everything but the shoes on my feet. Your own people have reached out to me, asking for help with “family” storylines. Those ideas? Mine. Talent relations even called me, said I’d be “brought in” down in Florida. Yet here I am—a 35-year veteran—watching WWE bury me while they rip off my gimmick wholesale.

And yes, I’ve got the receipts to back up everything I’m saying here. So tell me: are we really going to keep doing this? Keep embarrassing Italians with this nonsense? Keep disrespecting my 35 years in this business?

Stacks — I get it. Imitation is supposed to be the sincerest form of flattery. I’ve got a few old leather jackets if you need them, but I doubt you can pull off the bald look. Just remember: no matter who you put in the “costume,” they’ll always be living in my shadow until I give my stamp of approval.

    — THE Don

While some fans may only remember Vito for his dress-wearing days during the Ruthless Agression era of WWE, he had a long career before then. It remains to be seen if WWE has any response for the FBI alum.

In a recent interview with Jim Varsallone, conducted in promotion of Mysterio receiving the Legend Impact Award at the National Hispanic Media Coalition’s Impact Awards Gala, Rey discussed his injury. The lucha icon shared that he wasn\’t dealing with just one injury at the time, but two.

\”I’m actually still recovering from the injury I suffered just before WrestleMania — a torn groin and a busted eardrum. But I still love what I do.\”

Rey reflected on his career, which he says caught its \”second wind\” when Dominik became a fully-fledged Superstar in 2020. While it would be easy for a veteran talent like Rey to become jaded after decades of bumps and injury, Mysterio made clear that is not the case.

\”Whether it’s from the last few years or going all the way back to when I first started training at age four, I still love this. I love watching my son grow in it.\”

While questions remain as to when Rey Mysterio will return to the ring, one thing is clear: he still loves his job, injuries and all.

  • Priscilla Kelly Burns Gigi Dolin Past After WWE Release

In the video’s chilling final moments, Kelly stands before a fire pit. She pours gasoline into the flames and tosses in a jacket with “Gigi” stitched on the back, along with photos of her WWE run. Before WWE, Killings built a respected legacy as Ron “The Truth” Killings, capturing titles in both TNA and NWA. His history as a proven draw outside WWE gives him an edge many released talents don’t have. While he will be a free agent, he may not be a free agent for long.

Backstage reaction to his departure has been overwhelmingly negative. One top talent reportedly called the decision “total nonsense,” adding, “Everyone seemed confused by the news—including Truth himself.”

With loyal fan support, strong merchandise sales, and widespread respect in the locker room, it\’s no surprise that promotions big and small are interested in the now former WWE Superstar.

Flair has shared several posts since this, all of which have been met with comments criticizing him for the Ross post. In a follow-up, Flair shared some positive comments about Ross and encouraged his \”haters\” to move on to something else.

\”I Just Made It Clear To The World In An Article Coming Out On Sports Illustrated By Justin Barasso, That Jim Ross @JRsBBQ Was On My Mount Rushmore Along With Gordon Solie, Gene Okerlund & Jerry Lawler. That’s High Praise Because It Was Very Difficult For Me To Leave Out Tony Schiavone. But Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler Were The Greatest Tandem Ever! Nobody Should Be Upset Because Two People Have A Difference In Opinion. It Happens In Life! I Lost A Son, He Lost A Beautiful Wife. We Have A Lot In Common. We Were Both Considered The Best At What We Do. Let’s Leave It Alone At That And All The Haters Can Focus On Someone Else Now.\”

Flair is ready to move on but fans, or \’haters\’ as he calls them, may think differently. With JR considered the greatest of all time, and support of him growing in his battle with colon cancer, fans may not be quick to forgive the Nature Boy.
