    Chad Gable may be hurt, but he isn’t letting a serious shoulder injury sideline his ceative spark. On July 4, the former Tag Team Champion took to Instagram to announce his creative.

    “Rekindling my love for filmmaking/editing and working on a little personal project to share with all of you. I’ll drop more details soon, but as for today, Happy 4th of July! Enjoy your friends, family, and freedom!”

    On July 6, Gable posted a teaser for The Renewal—a documentary project chronicling his injury, surgery, and ongoing recovery. Not only does Gable want fans to see his finished project, but also the behind the scenes making of The Renewal.

    Gable\’s injury has seen him undergo surgery and it remains unclear when fans can expect him back. Nevertheless, Gable is turning adversity into opportunity by using this setback to continue to tell stories to fans.

  • Latest On WWE Bringing In Celebrity For SummerSlam 2025

    WWE SummerSlam 2025 is drawing near, and the biggest party of the summer could see some serious celebrity involvement. According to Dave Meltzer’s Figure Four Daily Update, WWE sources have confirmed that Jelly Roll has been lined up for something at SummerSlam 2025.

    This news come after a recent report from WrestleVotes, which noted that Jelly Roll’s July 11 appearance on SmackDown would mark “the start of something more.” Now, it appears that \’something more\’ will take Jelly Roll to SummerSlam.

    Jelly Roll has already made an impact on WWE programming. At SummerSlam 2024, he opened the show by performing “America The Beautiful” and his hit song “Liar.” Later in the show, he had a confrontation with A-Town Down Under, and, alongside Awesome Truth, stood tall over the former Tag Team Champions.

    Jelly Roll has been open about his love for WWE and now his return is reportedly drawing near. SummerSlam 2025 will take place on August 2 and August 3, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on WWE SummerSlam 2025.

  • Matt Hardy Says AEW Ties Blocked WWE Hall of Fame Nod

    Matt Hardy may be worthy of a WWE Hall of Fame induction, and the nod may have come years ago if not for his AEW ties. In 2022, WWE offered Jeff Hardy a Hall of Fame spot, though he turned it down as he didn\’t want to be inducted without Matt. On The Ariel Helwani Show, fans finally know why a joint induction wasn’t on the table, as Matt explained that \”I went to AEW at the time.\”

    Jeff was offered the spot as part of WWE\’s attempts to keep him away from AEW. WWE had released Jeff in late 2021 after erratic behavior at a live event. A drugs test would later confirm that Jeff was clean at the time, though Jeff would join Matt in AEW. Despite this issue, Matt is confident an induction will come.

    “Yeah, yeah, we’ll definitely do it one day.”

  • Bayley Auctioning WWE Gear To Aid With Texas Flood Relief

    WWE\’s Bayley is stepping up in a big way to support families devastated by the recent flash floods in central Texas. On X, Bayley shared that she\’s auctioning off her ring gear from the June 23 episode of Monday Night Raw. All proceeds will go directly to families impacted by the deadly flooding that struck Kerr County last week.

    The flash floods caused widespread destruction across Kerrville and surrounding areas after the Guadalupe River overflowed. Over 70 casualties have been conirmed, and a girls summer camp located near the river was hit hard, leaving families reeling in the aftermath.

    Bayley\’s auction shows the lengths she\’ll go to to help out those most in need at this difficult time. Our thoughts remain with the families of those affected at this time.

  • Tiger Mask IV Retiring In 2026 After 30-Year Career

    Yoshihiro Yamazaki, better known to fans as Tiger Mask IV, will hang up his mask and boots for good in July 2026. After facing Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW’s New Japan Soul show at Korakuen Hall, Yamazaki shared that he plans to retire in July 2026.

    Yamazaki, is the fourth man to don the Tiger Mask character, and has portrayed the character more than the first three. The character was brought to life by Satoru Sayama in 1981. After AJPW purchased the rights, Mitsuharu Misawa became the second Tiger Mask and worked under the mask from 1984 to 1990. Koji Kanemoto took over in 1992 and wrestled as Tiger Mask until losing a mask vs. mask match with Jushin \’Thunder\’ Liger in 1994.

    As for Yamazaki, his in-ring career began in 1995, and his impending chapter marks the end of a legend in Japanese wrestling. Stay tuned for the latest on Yamazaki who is the latest name to confirm the end of their in-ring life.

  • Zoey Stark Teases Return Date After WWE Raw Injury

    Zoey Stark has been out of action since May after suffering yet another serious leg injury in her WWE career. The 31-year-old sustained an ACL, MCL and meniscus tear in a Money in the Bank qualifying match that was ultimately won by Rhea Ripley.

    Stark has been on the shelf ever since with questions remaining as to when she\’ll return. On X, \’Road Dogg\’ Jesse James said he\’d love the chance to see Stark have a lengthy match with Asuka, who recently returned from injury. Stark was down for the idea in eight months, suggering that she\’ll be ready to return in March 2026.

    Stark\’s post is the closest fans have gotten to a return date, though WWE won\’t bring her back until she\’s fully ready. We at SEScoops are continuing to wish Stark the very best on her recovery.

  • Kenny Omega: There\’s Not Much Left To My In-Ring Career

    Kenny Omega has been wrestling for over two decades, and the Best Bout Machine knows that his career can\’t last forever. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Omega admitted that as he gets older and wrestles less frequently, he places greater value on each individual match. In a stark revelation, Omega admitted that the end of his in-ring career is drawing near.

    \”There isn’t much left. So I want to make sure that what is left, the meat that’s still on the bone, that it’s good tasting meat.\”

    Omega has battled several injuries and setbacks over the years, including diverticulitis and a hernia operation, among others. Adding these issues on top of the usual wear and tear of in-ring action, it\’s hardly a surprise that Omega is eyeing on life after wrestling.

    Omega’s passion for professional wrestling remains undiminished, even with his in-ring days nearing their end. Until that day comes, Omega plans to deliver the best matches possible for his fans before eventually stepping away.

  • Saraya: I Lied To WWE After Failing Wellness Policy

    Saraya was suspended from WWE twice in 2016 after violations of the Wellness Policy, marking a dark chapter in the Brit\’s life. Not only did Saraya fail these tests, but she tried to get one past WWE when caught.

    During a game of \’Never Have I Ever\’ with Denise Salcedo, Saraya was asked whether she\’d lied to her boss. The former Women\’s Champion was upfront and admitted that she had, initially claiming that her second violation was due to a dental appointment.

    \”I got publicly outed for popping another drug test and I was like \’it was a dental surgery\’ and it wasn’t… I did cocaine, I f\’ed up, I lied, but it’s okay.\”

    Saraya has since overcome her demons and is pleased to be enjoying life away from her dark past. The British star recently wrapped her time with AEW though has yet to talk with WWE about a rumored return. Whatever comes next, Saraya is pleased that her years of failing drugs tests and feeling the need to lie about them are in the past.

  • Special Feature Planned For ECW Icon In WWE 2K25 DLC

    New Jack will be a part of WWE 2K25 as part of the Fearless Pack that\’ll drop on July 23. For ECW fans, not only will New Jack\’s inclusion be an epic way to celebrate the late wrestler, but will also be a true-to-life recreation of the star.

    Fans who play as New Jack in No-DQ singles matches will be in store for a special treat. WWE 2K developer Bryan Williams shared on X that New Jack will have a special entrance with a trash can full of weapons. Not only that, but New Jack\’s theme will play throughout the match, as it did in the original ECW.

    New Jack will be just part of the Fearless Pack, the third wave of DLC for WWE 2K25. The Fearless Pack inclues:

    • Special celebrity guest to be announced

    WWE 2K25 released earlier this year and already boasted the largest roster of any wrestling game in history. Now, fans will get much more in-ring action, as well as a fitting tribute to New Jack.

  • Ex-ECW Champion Claiming He\’s Back With WWE (Report)

    WWE has seen plenty of returns over the years and now one former titleholder is back, or so he claims. According to Fightful Select, Chavo Guerrero has been telling people that “he is back with the company in an official capacity.”

    Guerrero, a former Tag Team, Cruiserweight, and ECW Champion, was recently spotted at the WWE/AAA Worlds Collide event. Over the past year, Guerrero has remained active on the wrestling circuit, appearing for AAA, TNA, GCW, and various independent promotions.

    Guerrero\’s alleged return to WWE comes at a pivotal time as the company continues to expand its influence in AAA. This return also comes following reports that his aunt Vickie Guerrero is expected to return, with some claiming the upcoming Evolution 2 PLE will be an ideal time for her comeback.

    Chavo first signed with WWE in 2001 following the demise of WCW. During his tenure, he teamed with and later feuded with his uncle Eddie and would also feud with Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, and others. It remains to be seen what\’s next for Chavo Guerrero as a return to WWE seemingly draws closer.

  • Charlotte Flair Reacts To John Cena Breaking Her Father\’s Record

    John Cena made history at WrestleMania 41 when he defeated Cody Rhodes to become a 17-time World Champion, breaking the record he had shared with Ric Flair. In an interview with The Takedown on Sports Illustrated, Charlotte Flair explained why she\’s not upset her iconic father moved to second place.

    \”Records are meant to be broken. I don’t wanna speak for my dad, but I think in this case I can—John was the guy to do it.\”

    Cena\’s victory wasn\’t just about breaking the record, but the culmination of a legendary career that\’ll end this year. For Charlotte, she is pleased to have had the chance to see the \’Never Seen Seventeen\’ become a reality.

    Charlotte currently holds 14 World Championships, putting her in a tie with Randy Orton as the closest active WWE stars to potentially match or surpass Cena\’s 17. Though it\’s been some time since Flair last held gold, she\’s more than ready to add more titles to her collection.

  • Jordynne Grace to Star in Fantasy Film \’Welcome to Paradise\’

    Jordynne Grace is already known for her role as a pro wrestling, and now the WWE NXT Superstar is adding actress to her résumé. Variety has confirmed that Grace is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming fantasy film Welcome to Paradise, joining a cast that includes notable British talent.

    The fantasy tale will tell the story of a woman named Lisa who wakes up on a mysterious beach with no memory of her past. After encountering a strange creature, she learns she’s arrived at “The Carnival” — a surreal, otherworldly realm filled with both humans and mythical beasts. Grace, according to IMDB, is credited as “Lisa (Jacked Wrestling Demon Form),” hinting that the powerhouse wrestler will bring muscle to thefilm.

    Welcome to Paradise features Grace alongside British icons Bill Nighy and Matthew Horne. Nighy, known for his roles in Pirates of the Carribean and Harry Potter, is providing voice work for the film. The film is currently in post-production and is “eyeing a late 2025 delivery with major festival berths in its sights.\”

    In the ring, Grace has her sights set on the WWE NXT Women\’s Title, which she will compete for at Evolution 2. Time will tell how far she goes, both in and out of the ring.

  • Cody Rhodes Joins Street Fighter Film Alongside Roman Reigns

    Cody Rhodes is a known fan of video games and now the former WWE Champion is stepping into the world of Street Fighter. Deadline has now confirmed that Rhodes has been cast as Guile in the movie. While it had previously been reported that Rhodes was in talks for the film, his position in the project has now been confirmed.

    Guile debuted in 1991\’s Street Fighter 2 game, and is a pilot in the United States Air Force. He is is seeking to avenge the death of his Air Force buddy Charlie at the hands of the villainous dictator M. Bison. One of the franchises most popular characters, Guile was played by Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 1994 Street Fighter live-action adaptation.

    Rhodes isn\’t the only wrestling name tied to the upcoming movie, as Roman Reigns will play Akuma. The film will include Noah Centineo as Ken, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Jason Momoa as Blanka, 50 Cent as Balrog, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, Orville Peck as Vega and David Dastmalchian as M. Bison.

    Rhodes is set to appear in the upcoming Naked Gun movie, a role that\’ll see him share the screen alongisde Liam Neeson. Between this and the Street Fighter movie, big things continue to happen for Rhodes out of the ring.

  • Charles Robinson On WWE Hall of Fame Nod, Future Goals

    When it comes to referees, few are more recognizable in wrestling than Charles Robinson, often dubbed \’Little Naitch\’ due to his Ric Flair-esque blonde hair. While Flair is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, some believe that Robinson, who has officiated plenty of iconic matches, should receive the honor in due time.

    Appearing on the RAW Recap, Robinson was asked about potentially receiving a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

    \”I just think there\’s a lot of other guys that should be put in first. Maybe one day, but there\’s a lot of other deserving guys besides myself.\”

    After the demise of WCW, Robinson joined the WWE as a referee, a role he\’s been in ever since. Whether a Hall of Fame induction comes or not, Charles has a major milestone in mind.

    \”I would like to get a full 30 just with WWE. So I started in 2001. So hopefully we can get another six years out of it.\”

    WWE has inducted a handful of officials, including Tim White and Teddy Long, though the latter is best known for other roles. Time will tell if Charles Robinson ever has his moment as a Hall of Famer.

  • Latest On AJ Styles\’ WWE Contract Status

    AJ Styles has been with WWE for close to a decade and as of late, there has been questions about his future with the promotion. Now, according Fightful Select, sources close to Styles say he has signed a one-year extension with the company. However, neither WWE nor Styles has officially confirmed the news.

    The report supports the idea that Styles isn’t planning to leave WWE anytime soon. The former WWE World Champion returned to WWE TV earlier this year following an injury and continues to be prominently featured on SmackDown.

    Styles\’ status with WWE has often been under scrutiny with fans, many of whom have believed he would go join AEW at some time in his career. With Styles reportedly signing another WWE contract extension, and AJ being open about the end of his career, the window of opportunity for him appearing in AEW continues to close.

    In WWE, Styles is a Grand Slam Champion and holds the distinction of being The Undertaker\’s final opponent. It remains to be seen what\’s next for the Phenomenal One on TV.

  • WrestleMania Rematch Set For TNA Slammiversary 2025

    TNA Slammiversary 2025 is just around the corner and fans excited for the July 20 event from the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. Now, a match that once took place on WWE\’s grandest stage is coming to TNA Wresttling.

    On the July 3 episode of iMPACT, Cedric Alexander attempted to appeal to Mustafa Ali by bringing up their past, referencing their journey through WWE. But Ali wasn’t interested in nostalgia. He rejected the olive branch and instead issued a challenge for a rematch at Slammiversary.

    Their last major encounter saw Cedric leave WrestleMania 34 with the Cruiserweight Title around his waist, but seven years on, things are very different. Who walks away with bragging rights at Slammiversary remains to be seen.

  • Tony Khan Says AEW May Expand TV Programming

    AEW is currently home to two weekly shows, Dynamite and Collision, which gives fans plenty of \’All-Elite\’ action involving the company\’s roster. President Tony Khan recently addressed whether a third weekly show could be on the horizon when speaking to WFAA.

    \”There’s always potential to expand the AEW programming calendar. Right now, things have worked really well with Dynamite and Collision. As we’re having a great year, it’s always something to consider.\”

    AEW used to host Rampage, a show that premiered in 2021, but the show was nixed following a new broadcasting deal being signed in 2024. On screen, the show was ended for good at the hand of Jon Moxley and the Death Riders.

    This update follows speculation around the rumored AEW Shockwave, a potential third brand that has since gone quiet. For now, Dynamite and Collision remain AEW’s core programming—but fans shouldn’t rule out expansion down the line.

  • The Boogeyman Pitches Final WWE Run to Triple H

    The Boogeyman horrified and entertained WWE fans during his time in the ring, and now he\’s ready to leave his Bottomless Pit and make a return. On X, The Boogeyman called on Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque to give him one last run.

    After failing to advance in 2004\’s WWE Tough Enough after being caught lying about his age, Martin Wright debuted as The Boogeyman in 2005. He would remain with WWE until 2009 but has made a number of one-off appearances since then. His most recent match was back in 2024 during a Reality of Wrestling Rumble.

    At over 60 years old, Wright isn\’t expecte to be getting a full-time in-ring return to WWE. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if his post catches the attention of Triple H.

  • Saraya Loves WWE, Says Return Talks Haven\’t Happened

    Saraya was once part of WWE, where she was a former Divas Champion and the first-ever WWE NXT Women\’s Champion. After leaving AEW, fans have been left wondering if Saraya will become Paige in WWE once again.

    Speaking to the Orlando Sentinel in a new interview, Saraya admitted that while she loves WWE, she hasn\’t had talks with the company about a return. Saraya recognized that fans are eager to see her back in the near future.

    “I haven’t had a conversation with them. know, I always get tagged in everything, as soon as there’s a mystery going around, they’re like, ‘Hey, she’s coming back.’ But no. I love the WWE, but no.”

    Saraya hasn\’t wrestled since her exit from AEW in early 2025. While a return to action is expected in due time, Saraya is enjoying her break from the wrestling world.

    \”I just want to get my feet wet outside of wrestling for a little bit and take care of myself this year. It’s consumed me my whole life.\”

    With WWE Evolution 2 around the corner, fans have been left wondering if Saraya/Paige could be back for the upcoming July 13 PLE. Whether that happens or not, Saraya is enjoying her time outside wrestling.

  • Seth Rollins Debuts New MITB Briefcase, Sets Sights on GUNTHER

    The June 30 episode of WWE RAW aired live from Pittsburgh and saw Seth Rollins debut a brand new Money in the Bank briefcase design. Mere days aftet teasing cashing in at Night of Champions, Rollins was part of a massive semgne that also included CM Punk, and LA Knight.

    GUNTHER kicked off the segment by addressing his upcoming match with Goldberg. Rollins then emerged, carrying a brand-new black Money in the Bank briefcase adorned with his personal SR logo. WWE Shop is already selling the new Seth Rollins Money in the Bank briefcase, including a limited autographed edition.

    Rollins shared that he traveled to Saudi Arabia to make sure CM Punk doesn’t become World Champion. Now, he\’s ready to focus on himself, adding that the World Heavyweight Champion is now on his radar.

    CM Punk interrupted the segment, running Rollins off before shoving GUNTHER to the mat and warning him to stay out of his business. In the crowd, LA Knight brawled with Mr. Money in the Bank. The pair brawled through the backstage area, leaving fans excited to see what\’s next.

    Rollins knows what it takes to cash in Money in the Bank. It remains to be seen if lightning strikes twice.

  • WWE SmackDown Spoilers – July 4: Hall of Famer Returns

    The July 4, edition of WWE SmackDown was taped immediately following the June 30, episode of WWE Raw at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The taping saw SmackDown return to two hours and will air this Friday at 8:00 PM ET on USA Network, with international streaming available on Netflix.

    Segment: Cody Rhodes kicks off SmackDown but is interrupted by Randy Orton. Orton makes Cody promise to take down John Cena at SummerSlam. Drew McIntyre returns from his injury to mock both men but is hit with an RKO.

    Segment: Nick Aldis offers Charlotte Flair a spot in a No. 1 Contender’s Match for the Women\’s Tag Team Titles. Charlotte agrees.

    Segment: Drew McIntyre meets with Nick Aldis. McIntyre Vs. Orton is made for Saturday Night\’s Main Event.

    Match: Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair defeat Michin & B-Fab and the Secret Hervice to become the No. 1 Contender’s Match for the Women\’s Tag Team Titles.

    Match: The Wyatt Sicks defeat Berto, Johnny Gargano, Montez Ford, and Chris Sabin.

    Segment: Tiffany Stratton discusses her upcoming match with Jade Cargill at SummerSlam, but that’s not all on her mind. Tiffany says she also plans to defend her title at WWE Evolution. Jade appears and reveals that Stratton\’s next opponent is Trish Stratus. Trish appears and agrees to the match.

    Match: Andrade and Rey Fenix defeat Fraxiom.

    Match: Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso defeat Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo. Fatu pinned Sikoa clean an tried to put him through a table. Instead, Sikoa, Hikuleo, and Tonga Loa teamed up and put Fatu through a table.

  • Matt Cardona Reacts To Fan Support At Night of Champions Post-Show

    Matt Cardona has yet to return to WWE, but the former NWA World Champion is certainly garnering plenty of attention. During the post-show segment at Night of Champions 2025, Cardona\’s name was chanted by the fans during a discussion with Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque.

    No one on stage acknowledged the chant, but the crowd\’s enthusiasm was unmistakable. On X, Cardona made clear that the love being shown from the fans has not gone unnoticed.

    The former Intercontinental Champion has been referenced multiple times on WWE programming in recent weeks, including during John Cena\’s \’pipebomb\’ on CM Punk. Cardona has often teased returning to WWE but has said he would not come back as his previous Zack Ryder character.

    After being released in 2020, Matt Cardona has gone on to become one of WWE\’s biggest post-release succcess stories. Whether he returns or not remains to be seen but fans clearly haven\’t forgotten about him.

  • Solo Sikoa Offers Title Match To Jacob Fatu, On One Condition

    The Night of Champions Premium Live Event saw Solo Sikoa defeat Jacob Fatu to capture the United States Championship, giving Sikoa his first taste of gold on the main roster. Now, the new U.S. Champion is ready to put the title on the line, but only if Fatu makes ammends.

    During the Night of Champions post-show, Solo Sikoa was asked what Jacob Fatu would need to do to earn a rematch. Solo stated that Fatu must first apologize and return to the family.

    “If he says sorry and he comes back to the family—then everything will go back to normal. Yes, he has to apologize to get a rematch. He’ll have to say, ‘I’m sorry for trying to step outside of the family, I’m sorry for leaving the family, sorry for turning on you at Money in the Bank, I’m sorry for kicking you in the face, Solo.’ What about that? There’s a lot of things he can say sorry about.”

    Sikoa\’s victory came about thanks to interference from Tonga Loa and a debuting Hikuleo, giving Solo another soldier to his Bloodline. As for whether Fatu apologizes in order to earn a title match, time will tell…

  • Triple H Responds To \’One More Match\’ Fan Chant

    A health issue forced Triple H to retired from in-ring competition, culminating in an official farewell at WrestleMania 38. While WWE\’s CCO remains in impressive shape, an in-ring return remains off the table.

    Fans in Saudi Arabia were electric for Night of Champions 2025 and during the post-event conference, fans began chanting “One more match!” at Triple H. After taking a moment to hear the crowd, he responded with clarity.

    “Chant all you want—there’s not another match in there.\”

    His statement drew a strong reaction, with fans replying with chants of “You still got it!” and \”Thank you Hunter!\” Although many fans would love to see Triple H return to the ring, he made it clear that this is not an option.

    Instead, the Game is content with his current role in WWE. While he may have wrestled some incredible matches in WWE, there will not be one more.


  • Triple H On CM Punk In Saudi Arabia: \’People Grow, People Change\’

    CM Punk\’s role in Saudi Arabia has garnered plenty of interest and debate given his infamous 2020 tweet aimed at The Miz. The tweet, which encouraged Miz to \”go suck a blood money soaked d*** in Saudi Arrabia.\” Despite this post, Punk competed in Saudi Arabia at WWE Night of Champions, though he received a hostile response from the local fans.

    On the post-show panel, Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque discussed Punk appearing in Saudi Arabia. Given his post and his past bad blood with WWE, Levesque noted that this seemed impossible in the past.

    “If you’d have told me 10 years ago that CM Punk would be here in Saudi for the WWE, I would have thought you’re out of your mind. But people grow, people change, people evolve, and they learn, and they learn a lot in life.”

    The topic of growth has been core to Punk\’s return to WWE as he and Levesque were able to make ammends in 2023. Once at odds with CM Punk, WWE\’s CCO is pleased to see this development.
