  • TNA President Carlos Silva Vows To Help Young Talent Move to WWE

Carlos Silva won\’t block any TNA wrestler from chasing their dream, even if it means losing them to WWE. Speaking to Off The Ropes, Silva was honest and open about the reality that some wrestlers in TNA may hope for bigger things in WWE.

\”Is that talent gonna wanna go to WWE if they’re younger talent? They are… I will be the person that will help them.\”

TNA talent have already made the move to WWE, with Jordynne Grace going from a TNA Knockout to a WWE NXT Superstar earlier this year. Joe Hendry has been appearing for both TNA and WWE in 2025, with the belief being that he will join WWE full-time when the opportunity arrives.

While Silva is open to helping TNA talent become WWE Superstars, he is hopeful that this wouldn\’t be the complete end of his time working with the wrestler. Instead, Carlos shared that maybe, if a TNA star makes it big in WWE, they will come back to TNA one day and help the \’engine\’ of mentors and younger talent.

Silva\’s comments come amid the ongoing multi-year partnership between the two sides. WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling recently hosted the \’Showdown\’ event that saw several interpromotional matches. Also, the TNA World and Knockouts titles are in the hands of NXT\’s Trick Williams and Kelani Jordan, respectively.

TNA will host its Bound for Glory event on Sunday, October 12, in Lowell, MA, which like several of its events this year, will feature NXT talent. It remains to be seen if somebody on the card is among those eyeing a bigger future in WWE.

  • WWE Alum Michael Tarver Recovering After Recent Stroke

Former WWE Superstar Michael Tarver is on the road to recovery after suffering a stroke. On Instagram, Tarver shared news about his scary situation which has left him contemplating his own mortality.

Last night I was told I was having a Stroke , I dont EVER emote , I dont EVER \”Sell\” as we say in the Wrestling Biz where I spent 20 years of my life. I told nobody, until I was forced to last night.

I had a 202/114 blood pressure reading and the few people I told right before taking myself to the ER ,im thankful for your persistence and also that I actually listened. I was in my bed fir a few hours as they were testing and working to get my bd down and I actually started to have thoughts about my mortality.

What a way to die , I work 2 jobs , I train twice a day , I have never drank or smoked in my life and to fall asleep and not wake up because of my blood pressure. I thought about my babies who are all adults now and all of my years of fight depression and suicide attempts over the past 20 years. I thought about my family and I just felt this overwhelming responsibility to get up out of that bed and live.

I haven\’t shared this much detail with anyone as I am still processing all of the weird emotions Im being overcome with but the sun came up and so did I

    Thank you Jesus ??

Tarver signed with WWE in 2008, and that year would appear at WrestleMania 24 as one of the bodyguards of Floyd Mayweather. Two years later, Tarver made his official debut as part of the first season of the original WWE NXT. 2010 would also see Tarver become part of The Nexus, and headline that year\’s SummerSlam. He was released from WWE in June 2011.

His situation shows the importance of looking after one\’s health. We at SEScoops would like to wish Michael Tarver a full and speedy recovery.

  • Mandy Rose Believes Fan Support Would Make WWE Return Easy

Mandy Rose was cut from WWE under controversial circumstances in 2022, but believes a return to the promotion would come easily. On her Power Alphas podcast, Rose reflected on her large fanbase years after her WWE career ended.

\”It’s always good to still be talked about after years. I still love it — it’s been three years this year, and you still have such a huge fanbase.\”

Rose has yet to wrestle since her WWE exit, and has instead focused on her highly-lucrative subscription content. Despite this, Rose believes the support of fans would make a WWE return an easy process, and won\’t rule the idea out.

“It gave me a little hope of like, maybe one day… if I ever wanted to get back in there, I feel like absolutely I could easily get back in there.\”

Rose was released after WWE learned of the type of content being shared to her subscribers, much of which WWE felt was too explicit. Rose claimed after being released that WWE never gave her the chance to take down her website before making the decision to cut her.

Despite her unconventional exit, Rose\’s interest in a WWE return isn\’t one-sided. A year after her release, it was reported that the topic of Rose returning wasn\’t off the table within WWE. In June of this year, Rose shared that she was open to a WWE return, adding that she\’d love the chance to speak to Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque about a comeback.

Whether Mandy Rose returns to WWE, time will tell. For now, the former NXT Women\’s Champion is grateful that there are plenty of fans wanting to see her back in the ring.

  • Mandy Rose Backs Jazmyn Nyx Over Turning Down WWE Deal

Jazmyn Nyx parted ways with WWE NXT after turning down a contract offer that she felt wasn\’t worth it. Nyx\’s decision reflects how even the top promotion in the world can lose talent over money, and now Nyx has received support from Mandy Rose.

On her Power Alphas podcast, Rose discussed reports that Nyx was offered less than $100,000 a year on a three-year contract. As far as Rose is concerned, that amount certainly isn\’t enough to warrant the risks of being a WWE Superstar.

“You’re still beating up your body to a level of danger, right? There’s a level of… you are risking your health, your long-term health.”

WWE NXT may be treated as \’developmental\’ but talent are still expected to take bumps as tough as any main roster wrestler. For Rose, walking away from a deal that isn\’t worth it is simply a smart long-term decision.

“If you’re chasing wealth and neglecting your health, you’re going to be broke in two aspects.”

Rose knows all about making wise financial decisions. In 2022, Rose was cut from WWE after the company learned of the exclusive content her subscribers could view. Within weeks of her exit, Rose had made over $1 million through subscriptions and continues to produce content to this day. Rose has yet to wrestle since her 2022 exit, instead choosing her lucrative venture instead of taking bumps and risking injuries.

Nyx hasn\’t competed since her exit from WWE, with her final match coming at NXT Homecoming in September 2025. On her podcast, Rose summed up her view by reiterating that pro-wrestling needs to be worth the risk.

\”Where are you buying a home for under 100K a year? You’re risking your body and your future for peanuts.”

Whether Nyx or Rose return to action, time will tell. But for now, neither appear in any hurry to risk potentially life-altering injuries, especially for what WWE was willing to pay.

  • WWE LFG Runner-Up Eyes Future In Solo Sikoa\’s MFT Faction

PJ Vasa (Penine Tuilaepa) is confident that her defeat in WWE LFG\’s second season won\’t mark the end of her dreams of being a Superstar. On X, a fan pitched that Vasa should join MFT (My Family Tree), the SmackDown faction led by Solo Sikoa. This earned a response from Vasa whose use of emojis showed she was interested in the idea.

Vasa\’s response comes at an interesting time for MFT. Solo Sikoa recently suggested that the group was missing a piece, and once that piece is found, the entire WWE roster will be on notice. The group currently consists of Sikoa, JC Mateo, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, JC Mateo, and Talla Tonga. Tama Tonga is currently out of action.

Vasa is a former Rugby player of Samoan heritage, so she\’s no stranger to physical competiton. She was the runner-up of WWE LFG season two, as Dani Sekelsky won the women\’s side of the show, earning a contract with WWE NXT.

Vasa isn\’t the only name with an eye on MFT, as Zilla Fatu has also shown interest in the faction. Whatever comes next, Vasa remains adamant that she will be a WWE Superstar yet, despite her loss in WWE LFG.

  • TNA Knockouts Invited To NXT Women\’s Title Contenders Match

The WWE NXT Vs. TNA Showdown is in the history books, but this won\’t be the last time fans see Superstars from both brands face off. In the closing moments of Showdown, NXT GM Ava and TNA\’s Director of Authority Santino Marella met to talk business. The pair agreed to a battle royal next week that will feature NXT and TNA talent. The winner will earn a shot at the NXT Women\’s Championship at Halloween Havoc.

There\’s no shortage of TNA Knockouts who could seize this opportunity. TNA is home to former WWE talent, including Cassie Lee, Jessie McKay, Lei Ying Lee, Mara Sade, and Steph De Lander. There are also stars who\’ve never signed with WWE who would love to make an impact by winning the battle royal. These include Myla Grace, Harley Hudson, Rosemary, and Jody Threat, among others.

The NXT Women\’s Championship is currently held by Jacy Jayne, who dethroned Stephanie Vaquer in May 2025 in what many at the time called an upset. Shortly after, Jayne made history by winning the TNA Knockouts title, becoming the first wrestler to hold WWE and TNA gold simultaneously. Her reign would end at Heatwave.

Time will tell who earns a shot at Jayne’s title, but whether the challenger comes from WWE NXT or TNA, one woman will walk into Halloween Havoc with a golden opportunity. WWE NXT Halloween Havoc takes place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

  • Bayley Reflects on Historic Women\’s Main Event A Decade Later

Bayley and Sasha Banks (now AEW\’s Mercedes Mone) made history in October 2015, when they became the first women to headline a WWE Premium Live Event. At NXT TakeOver: Respect, the pair competed in a 30-minute Iron Woman match, which saw Bayley win 3-2 to retain the NXT Women\’s Championship.

This match was the first women\’s main event at a WWE PLE as the pair broke down barriers on that night in Full Sail. Taking to X, the Role Model was proud to have made history a decade ago.

The match was much more than WWE\’s first women\’s main event at a PLE. The bout was also the first-ever Iron Woman match. It was also the longest women\’s match in WWE history at the time and held the record until the following year. At Roadblock: End of the Line 2016, Charlotte Flair defeated Banks in an Iron Woman match that lasted 34:45 after going into sudden-death overtime.

While Bayley and Banks would be the first, they wouldn\’t be the last women to headline a WWE PLE. Banks would headline WrestleMania 37 (Saturday) alongside Bianca Belair in 2021, while Bayley would close out Survivor Series 2019 in triple-threat action. Several other matches have headlined events, including the Becky Lynch Vs. Ronda Rousey Vs. Charlotte Flair showdown at WrestleMania 35.

Bayley and Banks may be in separate companies today, but the connection the pair have has stood the test of time. To this day, the duo remains two of wrestling\’s most influential women.

  • Darby Allin Attempts To Use Molotov Cocktail At AEW Title Tuesday

Darby Allin once again took things to a new level during the AEW Homecoming: Title Tuesday episode. During the show from the Daily\’s Place in Jacksonville, Orange Cassidy defeated PAC in a hard-fought contest.

As PAC attempted to go backstage, Allin emerged from the crowd. During their brawl, Allin produced a bottle with a cloth inside, a clear attempt at a Molotov cocktail. Allin prepared to light it before being tackled by arena security.

This isn\’t Allin\’s first time playing with fire. At AEW All Out, Allin set Jon Moxley on fire following the pair\’s Coffin Match. Back in May 2024, Allin rocked up to AEW Dynamite with a flamethrower, proving that he\’s more than comfortable with feeling the heat.

With Allin\’s repeated use of fire and fiery paraphernalia in recent weeks, it remains to be seen if this is building to some kind of fire-based match. WWE debuted the Inferno Match in 1998, where the only way to win is to set one\’s opponent on fire. 15 years later, the \’Ring of Fire\’ match was used at SummerSlam 2013, a standard singles match, albeit one where the ring is surrounded by fire.

Allin continues to escalate his on-screen offense, and time will tell what\’s next. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on AEW\’s favorite fire-weilding wrestler.

  • Update On Plans For Dark Side Of The Ring Season 7

Fans can expect much more of Dark Side of the Ring as the show has reportedly been renewed for a seventh season. After months of speculation about the show’s future, PWInsider.com has confirmed that the critically acclaimed wrestling docuseries has been renewed and is already back in production.

Filming for new episodes reportedly began several weeks ago in Louisville, Kentucky. There\’s no word yet on what topics will be included in the upcoming season of the show, which looks at the darker side of pro wrestling including tragedies and controversies.

Dark Side of the Ring kicked off its sixth season in March 2025 with an in-depth look at the King of the Ring 1998 classic between Mankind and The Undertaker. Their match was the second-ever Hell in a Cell match and saw Mankind be thrown off the cell and later through the roof of the structure.

Previous seasons have examined some of wrestling’s most controversial and emotional topics, including the Montreal Screwjob, the highs and lows of Buff Bagwell\’s life, and the Chris Benoit tragedy of 2007. The show has earned some controversy of its own, with Jim Ross vowing not to film new content for the show over what he sees as manipulative editing.

With production officially underway, fans can expect more in-depth looks at wrestling\’s seedier side. If the show’s history is any indication, the seventh season will be another tour-de-force of shocks and surprises.

  • Jeff Jarrett Shares If Bret Hart Was Ever Close To Joining TNA

Bret \’Hitman\’ Hart has worked in many promotions over his career, but he never had a role in TNA Wrestling. That\’s despite the fact that TNA was, for a period of time, TNA was the biggest competition in North America to WWE, a promotion Hart resented for a long time due to the Montreal Screwjob.

On his My World podcast, TNA co-founder Jeff Jarrett discussed Hart, sharing that there were moves made to bring Hart to the \’Impact Zone.\’ While others in TNA hoped the Hitman would join, Jarrett always suspected that Hart wasn\’t ready to commit to a role with TNA.

\”When I heard [WWE] advertise Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels coming together [in 2010]… my gut was right all along—he never wanted to commit to us.\”

Anytime talks got serious, something would arise to ruin those plans, Jarrett added. According to double-J, Hart\’s goal was always a WWE comeback, despite the post-Montreal tension.

\”He always had hope and optimism that he was going to go back to WWE and everything was going to be all right.\”

Had Hart joined TNA rather than returned to WWE in 2010, Jarrett would not have used him as an in-ring talent. Instead, Hart would have served in a mentor role, likely replacing Ric Flair as a mentor to AJ Styles.

“I think it would’ve been perfect for AJ to have Bret somewhat as his manager. Probably would have fit more than having Ric Flair as his manager.”

Bret Hart returned to WWE instead, and has made sporadic appearances for the company ever since. Nevertheless, the fact that many in TNA wanted him on board highlights the immense credentials of the first-ever three-time WWE Hall of Famer.

  • Bronson Reed Confirms Why WWE Merchandise Was Pulled

Bronson Reed has made a habit of stealing Roman Reigns\’ shoes, so much so that he has been christened the \’Tribal Thief\’ on WWE TV. Earlier this year, a shirt based on this gimmick was released, but was pulled, edited, and re-released shortly after.

The original design featured the \’Tribal Thief\’ label as well as a shoe that bore a striking resemblance to Nike\’s Jordan sneakers. While speaking on the Battleground podcast, Reed explained how this image forced WWE to temporarily pull the shirt.

\”There was some copyright infringement stuff that made them remove the shoes, which is fair enough, I get it.\”

The shirt was subsequently re-released, albeit with the image of the shoe removed. On the podcast, Reed shared that he had originally intended for a generic shoe to be used on the shirt, and hopes to one day see the shirt released as he\’d first imagined.

With or without merch, Reed has proven to be a thorn in the side of the OTC. While Reigns was victorious at Clash in Paris, Reed dismantled the Tribal Chief after the match. Reigns recently returned to WWE programming, hungry for payback on the Australian.

Reed and Reigns will collide in an \’Australian Street Fight\’ at Crown Jewel: Perth, with thousands of Bronson\’s fellow Australians cheering him on. With Reed signing a new contract with WWE, fans can expect plenty more from him in the years to come.

  • Team 3D To Appear At WWE NXT Vs. TNA Wrestling Showdown

Team 3D (Bully Ray & Devon) will be live at the upcoming WWE NXT Vs. TNA Wrestling Showdown, and will have their eyes on one match in particular. On X, Matt Hardy highlighted his and Jeff\’s upcoming title for title match against NXT\’s Darkstate. The winners will hold both the TNA World Tag Team Titles and the NXT Tag Team Titles.

In a response, Bully Ray shared that he and Devon will be watching from the front row, confirming their attendance at Showdown. When Matt shared that he didn\’t expect to see the duo until Bound for Glory on Sunday, Bully was glad to surprise his rival.

Bully\’s warning comes ahead of Bound for Glory, where he and Devon will battle Matt and Jeff. Their tables match is being promoted as the final encounter between two of wrestling\’s most significant tag-teams. The match is currently slated to be for the TNA World Tag Team Titles, though it could also be for the NXT Tag Team Titles depending on the result at Showdown.

With high stakes at both Showdown and Bound for Glory, it\’s highly likely that Team 3D will do more than merely watch from the crowd at the NXT Vs. TNA event. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from WWE Showdown and TNA Bound for Glory 2025.

  • AEW Roster Rally Behind Jaguars For Jacksonville Homecoming Week

The stars of AEW descended on Jacksonville, Florida to cheer on the Jaguars ahead of a stacked \’Homecoming Week\’ for Tony Khan\’s promotion. In a video shared by AEW, Harley Cameron, Orange Cassidy, Bandido, and the Hurt Syndicate were among just some of the All-Elite talent who watched the Jaguars play.

With the AEW roster on their side, the Jaguars scored a win over four-time Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. The close-knit game saw the Jaguars win 31-28, extending their season\’s win/loss record to 4-1 while the Chiefs now slide into a less-than-favorable 2-3.

This win comes ahead of AEW Homecoming: Title Tuesday, set for October 7, 2025. The show will see AEW return to its \’home\’ at the Daily\’s Place in Jacksonville and will have a special 2.5 hour runtime. The AEW TBS and TNT Championships will be on the line as part of a stacked show featuring seven matches, including a street fight.

The October 11, edition of AEW Collision will also take place in Jacksonville, once again at the Daily\’s Place. With the Jags starting the week strong for Tony Khan, it\’ll be up to his AEW roster to keep the momentum going.

  • Hulk Hogan\’s Estate Signals Potential Malpractice Lawsuit With Filing

Hulk Hogan\’s death in July 2025 rocked the wrestling world, but his passing could result in a significant malpractice lawsuit. Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling reports that Hogan\’s family have filed a petition in Pinellas County, seeking a 90-day extension of Florida’s statute of limitations to investigate a potential medical malpractice claim.

The filing was made on behalf of Hogan\’s widow Sky, his son Nick Bollea, and Hulk\’s financial advisor Terry McCoy. The three are representing the estate of Hulk Hogan. Hogan\’s other child, Brooke did not receive anything from her father\’s estate, though that hasn\’t been an issue for her.

The Hogan family has been highly critical of the handling of Hulk\’s situation and passing. Brooke claimed that police footage could change the narrative on her father\’s death away from what has been shared in public. Sky told TMZ Sports that Hulk’s phrenic nerve was “compromised” during a recent surgery. The phrenic nerve stimulates the diaphragm, which controls breathing.

Following his death, several tributes poured in for Hogan, despite his complicated place in wrestling during his final years. More recently, Florida\’s Ron DeSantis re-named part of the Clearwater trail in Hogan\’s memory.

Hogan\’s influence continues to be felt in pro wrestling, with plans in motion for a series of biographies about his life. Now, Hogan\’s death could result in a major malpractice lawsuit being filed, and potential changes to the law.

  • Zoey Stark Receives Baptism With AEW Star\’s Support Amid Recovery

WWE Superstar Zoey Stark has been baptised in the Christian faith amid her ongoing absence from programming due to injury. On social media, Stark shared footage of her baptism while wearing a shirt saying \”I have decided.\”

Stark\’s video showed that AEW wrestler Brian Cage was at the event alongside his family. In a post of his own, Cage was glad to have been a part of the important day.

Stark and Cage are hardly the only wrestlers to be open about their faith. Shawn Michaels famously became a born-again Christian in the early 2000s ahead of his return to the ring in 2002. Hulk Hogan became born-again in late 2023, in a moment he described as the greatest day of his life. Sting, Kurt Angle, Chad Gable, and The Undertaker have also spoken openly about their faith.

Stark has been out of action since May after suffering a knee injury during a Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match. The injury happened when she attempted a missile dropkick on Kairi Sane but landed awkwardly, causing her knee to buckle. At the time, it was reported that WWE expects Stark to miss the remainder of 2025.

Zoey Stark has made clear she plans to return to the ring, despite an AI-generated video of her claiming she\’s retired. Until that return comes, Stark will continue to work on her recovery, all while exploring her faith.

  • Shiloh Hill Sees Bright Future After WWE LFG Season 2 Victory

Shiloh Hill is ready to prove himself in WWE NXT after earning a contract with the silver brand. On X, Hill shared his gratitude to those who supported him during season two of WWE LFG. Hill also vowed that this is just the beginning, predicting big things in his future with WWE.

Hill, representing Team Undertaker, earned his contract after defeating Harlem Lewis in the men’s bracket final. Dani Sekelsky, who also represented Team Undertaker, won the women\’s contract, defeating Penina Tuilaepa (PJ Vasa) with The Undertaker’s Hell’s Gate submission.

While Hill now has a WWE NXT contract to his name, he is no stranger to the brand. Hill has already competed 38 times for NXT, with the majority of those matches coming at untelevised live events. Hill\’s WWE NXT run so far has already seen him face some notable names including Trick Williams, Charlie Dempsey, Grayson Waller, and WWE LFG season 1 winner Jasper Troy.

Hill has only won two singles matches in WWE NXT so far, his most recent of which being at a live event in July 2024. With this WWE NXT contract to his name, though, Hill sees a bright future for him on WWE\’s developmental brand.

  • Person To Induct The Beautiful People Into TNA Hall of Fame Revealed

The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky) will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame this month, and now fans know who will be doing the honors. During a conversation on Gabby AF, Tommy Dreamer revealed that he will be inducting the duo as part of this year\’s all-female class of inductees.

In the interview, Dreamer highlighted the importance of the pair, and his personal connection to The Beautiful People.

\”Angelina Love was actually my first hire in professional wrestling. Velvet I\’ve known forever, and just to see their journey and what they\’ve done is awesome.\”

The ceremony, set for October 12 at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, will be hosted by Gabby LaSpisa. Mickie James will also be inducted, and it has been confirmed that Victoria/Tara will be inducting James as part of the ceremony.

The vain faction vowed to cleanse the TNA roster “one ugly person at a time.” In TNA, Love is a six-time Knockouts Champion, a title Sky held twice. The group also held the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles, often defending the gold with other members via the ‘Freebird Rule.’

Now, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky will join Sting, Kurt Angle, Raven, Rhino, Abyss, and others as WWE Hall of Famers. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from TNA Bound for Glory 2025.

  • Paul Walter Hauser Approached to Play WWE Legends in Biopics

Mick Foley\’s life in and out of the ring would certainly be worthy of a biopic, one that could see Paul Walter Hauser portray the Micker. During an appearance on Inside the Ring, Hauser was asked which wrestler he\’d like to play, and shared that he\’s already been approached.

\”I have been approached about playing Mick Foley. Really. I’ve also been approached about playing Jim Neidhart.\”

Hauser shared that he\’s also been presented with the chance of playing somebody else who \”I won\’t name out of respect for the project and the people involved.\”

While best known to acing, Hauser\’s connection to pro wrestling is well-established. Hauser has 17 official matches to his name, with his most recent seeing him beat QT Marshall at ROH Death Before Dishonor 2025. In PROGRESS Wrestling, Hauser currently holds the Proteus Title and has challenged for other titles in the past.

Hauser\’s comments about Foley aren\’t the first time his name has been connected to the WWE Hall of Famer. During an interview on Casual Conversations with The Classic in May 2025, Foley shared that Hauser had shown interest in portraying him. Foley gave Hauser his seal of approval, saying Paul could \”find the spirit of that 1995 Cactus Jack.\”

Jim Neidhart\’s story would also make for quite the biopic as his career and life saw highs and lows before his passing in 2018. Whatever role is in the wings for Hauser, don\’t be surprised to see him in the ring on the big screen.

  • Wayne And Wyatt Rhodes Sets Sights On WWE Tag Teams

Wayne and Wyatt Rhodes may have experience competing in AEW and Ring of Honor, but the duo are already eyeing up potential dream matches in WWE. Speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, the pair were asked who they would like to wrestle in WWE.

Wayne is eager to step in the ring with the Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) and added that the Rhodes met the guns recently. He added that DIY is another team he and Wyatt would love to work with. Wyatt went on to say that he\’s hoping for a full-time reunion for The Usos. Though Jimmy and Jey are one of WWE\’s most dominant teams of all time, Wyatt was confident, saying he and Wayne would \”kick their ass!”

Wayne and Wyatt are the nephews of Cody and Dustin Rhodes. Together, they have competed as \’The New Texas Outlaws,\’ an homage to the tag team of Dick Murdoch and their grandfather, Dusty Rhodes. The pair defeated Aaron Solo and Jon Cruz during their AEW debut in August 2024, and defeated Solo and Cruz again in Ring of Honor in February 2025.

Wayne and Wyatt were backstage at WWE SmackDown in January 2025, giving the pair a taste of what they can expect if they become Superstars. On social media, Cody was proud of his nephews\’ development so far, calling the duo \”future tag champs.\”

Whether Cody\’s prediction comes true, time will tell. Nevertheless, Wayne and Wyatt Rhodes are determined to face the very best teams that WWE has to offer.

  • The Smashing Machine Opens to Career-Low Box Office for Dwayne Johnson

The Smashing Machine set an unfortunate record for Dwayne \’The Rock\’ Johnson in its opening domestic weekend in theaters. The Mark Kerr biopic, produced by A24, scored $6 million for its opening weekend. This is the lowest box office opening ever for a film led by Johnson.

The previous record was held by Faster (2010,) which opened at $8,523,153. The numbers are just for the domestic opening, and do not include international.

The Smashing Machine tells the story of Mark Kerr, one of the pioneering names in UFC. The film sees Kerr (Johnson) rise in the world of Mixed Martial Arts while deal with personal problems, including substance abuse. The film sees Johnson reunite with Jungle Cruise co-star Emily Blunt, who plays Kerr\’s girlfriend Dawn.

The Smashing Machine was smashed at the box office by Taylor Swift… Showgirl. The presentation that coincides with the music sensation\’s latest album earned $33 million over a three-day period.

The Smashing Machine\’s opening weekend is a rough start for Johnson\’s latest film, which sees WWE\’s Final Boss ditch his usual action blockbuster work for a more serious role. With a $50 million production cost, The Smashing Machine has its work cut out to earn its money back.

  • Adam Pearce Warns Fans About Fake TikTok Impersonators

Adam Pearce\’s name is known around the world thanks to his role as an on-screen WWE personality. Now, the Monday Night Raw General Manager has warned fans of those impersonating him for their own gain.

On his Instagram Stories, Pearce shared a screenshot of an \’official\’ account, claiming to be him on TikTok. Pearce made clear that the account is not genuine and told fans \”Beware of goofs that pretend I\’m on TikTok.\”

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/10/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2025/10/\"

There has been no shortage of wrestlers and wrestling personalities who have been the subject of impersonators and scammers. In November 2024, it was reported that a scammer posing as Alexa Bliss conned a man out of $1 million of his savings, as well as his granddaughter\’s college fund. Bliss herself has spoken numerous times about people falling victim to scammers impersonating her online.

Hopefully, there comes a time when these impersonators and scammers are a thing of the past. Until that day comes, Raw\’s General Manager wants fans to be vigilant if they see somebody on TikTok pretending to be him.

  • Joe Hendry\’s Role Confirmed For WWE NXT Vs. TNA Showdown

Joe Hendry will be part of the WWE NXT Vs. TNA Wrestling \’Showdown\’ event, but the popular star won\’t be competing. On X, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella shared that Hendry will be the special guest referee of the Men\’s eight-man tag-team elimination match.

Team NXT will feature WWE NXT Champion Ricky Saints, TNA World Champion Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and Myles Borne. As for Team TNA, they will be represented by Moose, Leon Slater, Mike Santana and Frankie Kazarian.

It will be interesting to see where Hendry\’s loyalties rest in this important tag-team elimination match. It has been reported that Hendry is expected to join WWE full-time when the time is right and he has made several appearances for the brand. TNA President Carlos Silva recently clarified that Hendry is still part of TNA Wrestling, despite his appearances for WWE.

Outside WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling, Hendry has appeared on WWE’s main roster. The TNA talent was part of the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match. He also appeared at WrestleMania 41 as the surprise opponent of Randy Orton.

Hendry\’s situation at Showdown mirrors that of Jordynne Grace, who will officiate the Women\’s Elimination Tag Team Match. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from Showdown, including breaking news and live results.

  • Shiloh Hill & Dani Sekelsky Win WWE LFG Season 2, Earn NXT Deals

The winners of season two of WWE: Legends & Future Greats (WWE LFG) have been crowned. In the season finale, Dani Sekelsky and Shiloh Hill, both of whom were representing Team Undertaker, got the win.

Sekelsky defeated Penina Tuilaepa (PJ Vasa) in the finals, sealing the victory with The Undertaker\’s Hell\’s Gate submission move. On the men\’s side of things, Hill defeated Harlem Lewis. The winners were chosen by WWE NXT head Shawn Michaels.

With their victories, Sekelsky and Hill have earned contracts with WWE NXT, though it\’s unclear when the pair will be officially joining. Hill is no stranger to WWE NXT, as he debuted as part of NXT LVL Up back in July 2024. Sekelsky made her WWE NXT debut in April 2025, but is yet to have a match on TV.

Tyra Mae Steele (mentored by The Undertaker) and Jasper Troy (mentored by Booker T) won WWE LFG season one, and both have become part of WWE NXT. The Undertaker also earned the LFG Championship as best mentor, as he had the most team points.

It remains to be seen what\’s next for Sekelsky and Hill, both of whom failed to win WWE LFG season one but have now emerged triumphant. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on their careers.

  • Max Caster Is Done With Rapping, Doesn\’t Want To Get AEW Canceled

Max Caster’s days of cutting freestyle raps in AEW are officially over, according to “The Best Wrestler Alive.” Appearing on Hey! (EW), Caster discussed his frustrations with some of the questions fans frequently ask him.

\”When is The Acclaimed gonna come back?’ When are you gonna rap again?’ The thing is, I’m not, first of all, I’m never ever gonna rap at AEW again.\”

For Caster, stepping away from rapping is a business decision. Referring to recent controversies involving comedians, he explained that he doesn’t want his words to put AEW’s television presence at risk.

\”You see what’s happening to Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert for saying (bleeps) on TV, getting the shows canceled. Imagine if I get AEW Dynamite canceled or Collision canceled.”

Caster’s freestyles have previously sparked backlash, including a line years ago that many felt mocked Olympian Simone Biles’ mental health. In December 2024, AEW cut a line referencing Luigi Mangione, the man accused of killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

While Caster has ditched rapping, he doesn\’t regret what he has said. Even when concerned about being \’canceled,\’ Platinum Max remains defiant.

\”people need to realize that. Don’t apologize for anything you do or say if it’s just people calling for your head. It’s pointless. That’s how I’ve survived.\”

Caster remains active on the mic with plenty to say, but his days cutting raps are over. Instead, Caster will let his actions in the ring do the talking.

  • Mercedes Moné Announced For Independent Event In Denmark

Wrestling fans in Denmark will soon get the chance to see Mercedes Moné in action as the CEO proves to be an international hit. BODYSLAM Wrestling has revealed that Moné will be part of their event on October 10 in Portalen, Greve. The match will be the AEW wrestler\’s first time competing in Denmark.

If history is any indicator, Moné could be leaving Denmark with more than just memories. Currently, the CEO holds nine championship belts, several of which come from European promotions. Her collection includes titles from RevPro (United Kingdom,) EWA (Austria,) PTW (Poland,) and BestYa Wrestling (Italy.)

Moné\’s international tour comes amid ongoing success in AEW. Moné captured the AEW TBS Championship in her first match for AEW, a title she holds to this day. So far, Moné has been beaten just once in singles action, with her loss coming to \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm at AEW All In: Texas.

Moné\’s success certainly justifies her decision to bet on herself and walk away from WWE in 2022, an act that brought an end to Sasha Banks. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Mercedes Moné\’s work around the world.
