  • Shotzi Blackheart & Husband Looking To Adopt A Child

Shotzi Blackheart has made a name for herself in the ring, and now she and her husband are ready to make a major personal step. Speaking on Saraya\’s Rulebreakers podcast, Shotzi shared that she and her husband are looking to adopt a child.

Shotzi was excited about signing up for the adoption process. With that said, the former WWE Superstar realized that this is not a quick process.

\”The adoption process is so long, and like I don\’t intend, like I mean if it happened, it happens, and I would take a child right now, but like I know the adoption process is long.\”

Shotzi is eager to adopt, but added that \”whatever happens, happens.\” The former NXT Tag Team Champion was cut from WWE earlier this year but has re-established herself on the independent scene in recent months.

Shotzi won\’t be the first wrestler to adopt a child. Kurt Angle and his wife adopted a 15-year-old boy from Bulgaria after learning that children over 10 are often less likely to be adopted. The legendary Haku adopted Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, who, like Haku\’s biological son Tonga Loa, are wrestlers.

Shotzi Blackheart is ready to join the litany of wrestling moms and give a home to a child through adoption. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Shotzi Blackheart, both in and out of the ring.

  • Unlikely WWE Superstar Is Cameo\’s Most Expensive Video Request

Cameo is a video service that allows fans to request a personalized video message from their favorite celebrities, albeit for a price. While there are thousands of celebrities and notable names available on Cameo, one WWE Superstar is proving to be the most expensive of them all.

Tama Tonga is the highest-priced celebrity on Cameo, with his videos costing $10,000. His videos have an average length of 1:13, meaning fans are paying $136.98 per second of Tonga\’s time. Tonga currently has 36 reviews, all of which are five stars.

Tonga\’s Cameo price far exceeds bigger stars like Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, or Kurt Angle. Tonga\’s most recent video was made in 2023, before he joined WWE. It cannot be confirmed if he has increased his price since that last video.

In 2020, WWE banned talent from having Cameo accounts, as part of a crack-down on third party deals. While that policy has clearly been reversed, it may be a long time before somebody shells out $10,000 for just over a minute of Tama Tonga\’s time.

  • Tony Khan Gives Update On Bandido After Dislocated Shoulder

Bandido isn\’t backing down from his upcoming match against the Don Callis Family, despite recently suffering a shoulder injury. On October 3, Bandido defended the ROH World Championship against Hechicero at a CMLL event. During the match, Bandido\’s shoulder would pop out of the socket and the masked star put in back in place before continuing the match.

This setback came ahead of a high-stakes tag-team match pitting \’Brodido\’ against Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita. On X, Brody King hoped that Bandido would be able to make it to the match. In response, Tony Khan shared that Bandido plans to fight through the pain and make it to AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday.

This match won\’t see any gold on the line, but will lead to a title match. If Brodido win, whoever scores the pinfall will earn a shot at Okada\’s Unified Championship. If Takeshita and Okada emerge victorious, the pair will earn a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday will face stiff competition as the show will air the same night as the \’Showdown\’ between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling. Nevertheless, Bandido remains determined to compete against the Don Callis Family despite his recent setback.

  • TNA\’s Joe Hendry Headlines WWE NXT Event Ahead Of Showdown

WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling may be bracing for a \’Showdown\’ on October 7, but that didn\’t stop Joe Hendry from headlining a recent live event. The October 4, event took place from the MLK Center in Gainesville, Florida and saw Hendry defeat Cutler James in the closing match of the show.

Hendry\’s appearance at the show comes amid the ongoing storyline between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling. The two sides will collide at the \’Showdown\’ on October 7, which will see multiple interpromotional matches. Hendry hasn\’t been announced for a match, but it has been confirmed that he will be making an appearance.

The former TNA World Champion has appeared multiple times for WWE NXT as part of the crossover between the two brands. It has been reported that Hendry is being prepped for a full-time move to WWE, bringing an end to his TNA run. TNA President Carlos Silva has shared that Hendry is still with TNA, despite his many appearances for WWE in 2025.

Outside WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling, Hendry has appeared on WWE\’s main roster. The TNA talent was part of the 2025 Men\’s Royal Rumble match. He also appeared at WrestleMania 41 as the surprise opponent of Randy Orton.

Caught between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling, it remains to be seen what Hendry\’s future holds. For now, the Scottish star remains a key part of both brands ahead of what will be a stacked Showdown event.

  • Jordynne Grace Receives Special Role For NXT-TNA Showdown

Jordynne Grace will be part of the upcoming NXT-TNA \’Showdown\’ but the Juggernaut won\’t be competing. On X, WWE NXT General Manager Ava shared that Grace will serve as the special guest referee for the four-on-four women’s elimination bout.

The match will see WWE NXT represented by NXT Women\’s Champion Jacy Jayne, North American Champion Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, and Jaida Parker. Team TNA has TNA Knockouts Champion (and NXT talent) Kelani Jordan, TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee, & Mara Sade.

Grace had been outspoken about not being included on the Showdown card, as she helped launch the NXT-TNA crossover in 2024. That year, the then-TNA star appeared in the WWE Women\’s Royal Rumble match, and later appeared in WWE NXT.

While Grace has been part of WWE NXT full-time since the start of this year, her contributions to TNA Wrestling can\’t be understated. With that in mind, time will tell where her loyalities are at the Showdown on October 7.

  • WWE NXT Star Pitches Role In Chelsea Green\’s Secret Hervice

Chelsea Green already has plenty of back-up with her \’Secret Hervice,\’ but could a new cabinet member be in the wings? On X, WWE NXT Superstar Karmen Petrovic shared her interest in joining the faction of the first-ever Women\’s United States Champion.

Fans in the comments loved the idea of Petrovic joining the faction. One fan tagged Green to tell her that Petrovic would be a \”perfect addition\” to the Secret Hervice. Another said that Karmen was \”overly qualified\” while a third advised Green to \”hire Karmen on the spot!\”

The Bosnian-Canadian Petrovic joined WWE in 2022 and debuted on WWE NXT TV in July the following year. Since then, she has been a regular on NXT programming and has also appeared in TNA as well as Bloodsport.

Before wrestling, Petrovic competed in Karate and is a multi-time gold medalist in the spot. With these skills, Petrovic would certain be an intriguing addition to Green\’s posse.

The Secret Hervice consists of Alba Fyre and Piper Niven, though Niven has been out of action in recent weeks. There have been concerns that the setback could be career-ending for Niven, who has been aligned with Green for over two years.

As for Petrovic, time will tell whether her plea results in a main roster call-up, or if she will have to wait. But it\’s clear that Karmen clearly sees a future for himself in a black suit and by Green\’s side.

  • Andrade El Idolo Wins Gold In First Post-WWE Match

Andrade El Idolo is not wasting time making an impact now that his latest WWE run has come to an end. At The Crash Lucha Libre event on October 3 at the Municipal Auditorium Fausto Gutierrez Moreno in Tijuana, Andrade captured the Crash Heavyweight Championship.

Andrade defeated DMT Azul to win the gold in what was El Idolo\’s first match since leaving WWE. What makes the win even more impressive is that DMT Azul had held the gold for over two years before Andrade brought his reign to an end.

It\’s not just in Mexico where Andrade El Idolo is making an impression. Recently, Andrade returned to AEW and aligned himself with the Don Callis Family. With this move, Andrade has become the first wrestler to go from WWE to AEW, to back to WWE, and now, back to AEW.

Andrade left WWE in September 2025 after returning as part of the 2024 Men\’s Royal Rumble match. It was later shared that Andrade was effectively released and the decision was not mutual. His final WWE appearance came at SummerSlam 2025.

Andrade was previously with AEW for over two years but never won gold with the promotion. Now, already a champion, in Mexico, El Idolo plans on more titles now that he\’s \’All-Elite\’ once more.

  • John Cena Farewell Tour Pack Coming To WWE 2K25

John Cena\’s in-ring career is nearly at an end, but the WWE\’s \’GOAT\’ is set to be celebrated in new downloadable content coming to WWE 2K25. On October 16, the John Cena Farewell Tour Edition Pack will release, giving fans much more of the 17-time WWE World Champion.

The set will include Cena\’s heel entrance from WrestleMania 41 and much of 2025. Also included will be Cena as the Dr. of Thuganomics, Brock Lesnar, Ron \’R-Truth\’ Cena and Five Cena Farewell Tour T-Shirts. At this time, no price is given for the pack.

Cena is already a part of WWE 2K25 and has a deep history with WWE video games. Since his debut in 2003\’s Day of Reckoning, Cena has been a part of 36 licensed WWE games, eleven of which feature Cena on the cover. Beyond the ring, Cena has been part of Fortnite and Mortal Kombat 1, both as Peacemaker, as well as 2016\’s Marvel Avengers Academy, in which he voiced The Hulk.

John\’s career will end this December at Saturday Night\’s Main Event, but his contributions to WWE and pro-wrestling can\’t be understated. Despite his retirement, fans can expect Cena in future games, as well as plenty of the \’Never-Seen Seventeen\’ in WWE 2K25.

  • Response To Booker T Saying Jade Cargill Is Fresh Off AEW Run

Jade Cargill was busted open during the September 26, episode of WWE SmackDown, where she challenged for the WWE Women\’s Title. During his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T chalked up Jade being busted open, among other issues in the match, to Jade\’s AEW tenure.

\”You have Jade Cargill, who is pretty much just fresh off her AEW run. Just think about the time in AEW for her. She probably didn’t learn a whole lot.\”

Individuals in multiple promotions, including WWE, AEW, and TNA Wrestling, were confused by Booker\’s comments. Cargill has been with WWE for over two years, and has had more matches as a WWE Superstar than as an AEW wrestler.

Jade has aleady had more title wins in WWE, with two tag title reigns to her name, compared to her one, albeit lengthy, run as AEW TBS Champion. Jade won the Queen of the Ring crown earlier this year, another accolade that demonstrates that she is firmly established in WWE.

While Jade may have first made a name for herself in AEW, she is now a fully-fledged member of the WWE roster.

On the October 3 episode of WWE SmackDown, MFT were part of a backstage segment. After praising Talla Tonga, Sikoa teased that the faction could be bringing in a new member. Sikoa ended by warning the SmackDown roster that once this addition is brought in, everyone in WWE will be on notice.

\”I love all of you, but there\’s something missing for this family to be complete. Once I find that missing part, everyone, and I mean everyone is on notice.\”

As part of one of the largest families in wrestling, Sikoa has no shortage of potential additions to MFT. Zilla Fatu, the son of the late, great, Umaga, has spoken about his desire to be part of WWE, and it\’s possible he could be the next member.

Kelani Jordan may be the TNA Knockouts Champion, but the NXT Star isn\’t interested in winning over the TNA roster. Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Jordan acknowledged that some in TNA may be unhappy with her winning the title in her first TNA match.

\”My first time ever in TNA. I know some people might be a little bit bitter, but who wouldn’t take the opportunity?\”

Jordan\’s win comes amid the ongoing feud between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling. For Jordan, it\’s not hard to see why some TNA talents resent her sudden arrival and title win.

\”Winning a title my first time, my first show, and another brand. If I were in TNA, I would be bitter too.”

Jordan won the gold that had been vacated by Ash By Elegance at Victory Road. Despite being an NXT Superstar, Jordan will captain TNA\’s women at the ShowDown event on October 7. Jordynne will align with The Inspiration and Mara Sade, all former WWE Superstars.

With tensions high going into Showdown, Jordan\’s comments will only escalate the situation between WWE NXT and TNA. With a roster of \’bitter\’ Knockouts, according to Jordan, time will tell whether Team TNA can co-exist at Showdown.

  • Latest On Plans For Oba Femi After WWE NXT Championship Defeat

Oba Femi is no longer the WWE NXT Champion, but what does the future hold for \’The Ruler\’ of the silver brand? Femi lost the gold to Ricky Saints at WWE NXT No Mercy, ending a run on top that began in January of this year.

Despite this loss, fans shouldn\’t expect Femi to be moved to the main roster yet. In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer shared that \”Femi is still in the plans for NXT going forward.\” In addition to his NXT title reign, Femi holds the record of the longest reigning WWE NXT North American Champion.

Meltzer acknowledged that WWE does sometimes \’swerve\’ people, and later shared that \”there is no such thing as a 100 percent no.” For now, though, all signs point to Femi remaining as part of WWE NXT until the right time for a call-up.

Femi\’s reign saw him retain against the likes of Trick Williams, Je\’Von Evans, Myles Borne, Ridge Holland, Wes Lee, Austin Theory, Grayson Waller, and others in NXT. Going further, Femi retained the gold against TNA Wrestling\’s Moose during NXT Roadblock in March 2025.

With two dominant title reigns to his name, many expect big things for Oba Femi once he joins the main roster. For now though, Femi will stay with WWE NXT, likely hungry for a rematch with Ricky Saints.

  • Hulk Hogan To Be Honored With Clearwater Trail Tribute

Hulk Hogan is to be honored in Florida as part of the Clearwater Trail will be dedicated to the late wrestler. At a press conference, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis shared that a two-mile portion of the Clearwater Trail will be named in honor of the Hulkster.

I am proud to announce today that we are officially establishing the Hulk Hogan Trail on a 2-mile portion of the Clearwater Trail between Oak Avenue and Coronado Drive.

This portion of the Clearwater Trail will have much more than Hogan\’s name. In his statement, DeSantis shared that the plan is for different exercise stations to be added across the two-mile path. These exercise stations will be easily identifiable with their red and yellow color scheme, another nod to Hulk Hogan.

Jimmy Hart was also part of the event, and was pleased to see Hulk receive another packed house, even after his death. Hart also reflected on what Clearwater means, both to himself and his late friend.

\”This is where Hulk and I would do Karaoke every Monday night… and the last thing he said to me is \’Jimmy Hart, I want you to do your song.\’\”

The Hulk Hogan trail is the latest tribute bestowed to the two-time WWE Hall of Famer in the months following his death. While Hulk Hogan has passed, Hulkamania continues to live on in Florida and beyond.

  • Cody Rhodes Is Performing His Own Stunts In Street Fighter Movie

Cody Rhodes has been busy filming Street Fighter, where he will play the role of series regular Guile. Now, the Undisputed WWE Champion has given fans a taste of what they can expect from his performance.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Rhodes shared that the physicality of Guile came naturally to the six-foot-two, 22lb wrestler. While the film will feature plenty of stunts, Rhodes was adamant that he do as much for the character as possible.

\”I was adamant that anything that’s a stunt, I’m gonna do it. If that requires me being on these wires, I wanna do it.\”

Rhodes spoke highly of the film\’s stunt coordinator \’JV,\’ who is surrounded by \”a great team\” that gave him the chance to try a couple of stunts. Teasing what fans can expect, Rhodes shared that Street Fighter will be a love-letter to fans of the popular video game franchise.

\”If you ever played the game, especially Street Fighter II — what he’s done as the director is unbelievable. It’s fan service. You got Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, the real final boss in that game, it’s just a wonderful cast.\”

That wonderful cast includes Rhodes\’ WWE adversary Roman Reigns, who will play Akuma. Other notable names include NJPW\’s Hirooki Goto as E. Honda and Jason Mamoa as Blanka.

Guile debuted in 1991’s Street Fighter 2 game, and is a pilot in the United States Air Force. He is seeking to avenge the death of his Air Force buddy Charlie at the hands of the villainous dictator M. Bison. One of the franchise\’s most popular characters, Guile was played by Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 1994 Street Fighter live-action adaptation.

Street Fighter is scheduled to be released in the United States by Paramount Pictures on October 16, 2026

  • Jordynne Grace Slams Showdown Snub, TNA Champion Responds

WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling will collide at the upcoming \’Showdown\’ event, but as it stands, Jordynne Grace will not be a part of the event. For Grace, a name associated with both brands, this snub cannot stand. In a video shared to social media, Grace made her views clear when addressing NXT GM Ava, and TNA\’s Director of Authority Santino Marella.

\”I was trying to bite my tongue, but I just can\’t anymore. There is no NXTNA without Jordynne Grace… There is no Showdown without me setting the stage for it two years ago.”

It’s unclear if Ava or Marella have responded to Grace’s comments, but Kelani Jordan certainly took notice. The NXT star, who will represent TNA as Knockouts Champion at Showdown, poked fun at Grace for being left out.

Grace’s frustration carries weight. In 2024, while holding the TNA Knockouts Championship, she made a surprise appearance in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Later that year, she appeared in WWE NXT—while still under TNA contract—helping launch the groundbreaking partnership between the two promotions.

With only days to go before Showdown, questions remain: will Grace force her way onto the card, and after being snubbed from Team NXT, where will the Juggernaut’s loyalties lie if she does appear?

  • Chris Jericho Marks 35 Years in Wrestling, Says Career Isn’t Over

Chris Jericho is a bona fide legend in the wrestling world, and the Canadian star isn’t finished in the ring just yet. On X, Jericho revealed he recently marked 35 years since his very first match—a bout with Lance Storm in front of just 85 people. Looking back with gratitude, Jericho made it clear his career “AIN’T OVER YET!”

In recent years, Jericho has been a cornerstone of AEW, where he became the company’s first-ever World Champion. Before joining All Elite Wrestling, he had a decorated run in WWE, where he was crowned the first Undisputed WWE Champion. With stints in WCW, ECW, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and Ring of Honor, the 54-year-old has built a career most wrestlers could only dream of.

Jericho’s insistence that he isn’t done will be bittersweet for some fans. At AEW events, “Please Retire” chants have been heard, with some feeling his time has passed. Jericho, however, isn’t fazed. Earlier this year, he even suggested turning the chants into merchandise.

Still, the multi-time World Champion has spoken about his eventual retirement. He’s confident he will know when it’s time to step away but maintains that, for now, he can still deliver the best match on any card.

Speculation continues to swirl about a possible WWE return, with many believing it would be a fitting place to close out his legendary career. Until that day comes, Jericho has no plans of slowing down, determined to keep giving his all inside the squared circle.

  • Matt Riddle Teases Political Future In Florida: It\’s Time For A Change

Matt Riddle has established himself in the world of wrestling, and competed in MMA before that, and now the \’Original Bro\’ has teased a future in politics. During his TMZ’s Inside the Ring appearance, Riddle threw his name into the political ring, teasing that he could run for governor of Florida.

\”It’s about time for a change. I think I’m very relatable. I feel like right now the country is so separated in two. We need to meet in the middle.”

Riddle described himself as living in the “gray area” between Republican and Democrat, a space he believes most people occupy. While Florida is generally seen as a Republican stronghold, he argued the state is more politically diverse than it appears.

\”there\’s a lot of rural areas that are more conservative. You got the cities that are definitely very liberal… Florida is very diverse.\”

Though he has no experience in public office, Riddle would not be the first wrestler to pursue politics. Glenn “Kane” Jacobs currently serves as Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, while Jesse “The Body” Ventura stunned the political world when he was elected governor of Minnesota in the late 1990s.

Since leaving WWE in 2023, Riddle has stayed active in wrestling, including a run as MLW World Champion. With that reign ending in September 2023, the question remains: could the Original Bro shift from winning matches to winning votes?

  • Gail Kim Claims AEW Alum Agree With Her Riho Comments

Names formerly associated with AEW agree with Gail Kim\’s recent comments about Riho, according to Kim herself. The TNA Hall of Famer recently made headlines when she shared that she felt uncomfortable watching Riho, saying that camera shots of the Japanese star often seem improper.

Kim later stated that she is into believable wrestling and that it was hard to believe that the diminutive Riho could hold her own against other female wrestlers. This earned Kim a backlash among some fans who felt her comments were unfair to AEW\’s first Women\’s World Champion.

Appearing on the Huge POP podcast, Kim once again discussed the Riho situation. Kim claimed that names who had been with AEW agree with her stance.

“I actually had former AEW people who worked there, say to me, ‘I agree with you. I would be backstage and I felt the same way.’”

Kim once again shared that she felt uncomfortable when watching a match of Riho\’s, recalling that the \”cameraman shot up her skirt,\” and said that Riho \”dressed in that match as a little girl.\” For Kim, that moment colored her view of the rest of the match.

“When I said she wasn’t very believable in that match, that’s because I wasn’t comfortable from the start.\”

Kim concluded by saying that Riho is a believable wrestler in the current day, but admitted to not seeing enough of the Japanese star\’s in-ring work. While some, including AEW\’s Kenny Omega, have spoken against her, Kim isn\’t backing down from what she believes.

  • The Beautiful People Reflect on Ratings Success Before TNA Hall of Fame

Velvet Sky and Angelina Love, collectively known as the Beautiful People, will soon be TNA Hall of Famers, an honor only a select few have obtained so far. During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, the duo discussed their influence on TNA Wrestling and how they proved more popular than some of wrestling\’s greats. Love said:

“Kurt Angle was in TNA. Sting. Christian. Hall. Kevin Nash. Booker T. They’re all there. And we were getting the highest-rated segments.”

Love recalled seeing on a weekly basis that she and Sky had the highest-rated segments, describing the feeling as \”unbelievable.\” Sky added that rather than being jealous or resentful, the men on the roster were thrilled to see the pair shine.

“The guys weren’t like, ‘These girls are stealing our shine.’ They were like, ‘Hell yeah, girls. Hell yeah!’… We had the support of everyone.\”

Sky and Love will be inducted at Bound for Glory 2025 alongside Mickie James, marking the first-ever all-female class of inductees. All three are former TNA Knockouts Champions and worked multiple times with one another.

Though known as the Beautiful People, the influence the pair had on TNA proves they were much more than titilation. TNA Bound for Glory 2025 will take place on October 12, 2025, at Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.

  • Ahmed Johnson Okay After Collision With Drunk Driver

Former WWE Superstar Ahmed Johnson is recovering after being involved in a collision with a drunk driver. As shared by Book Pro Wrestlers on Facebook, Johnson, real name Tony Norris, was involved in a collision on September 29. Though the back of Johnson\’s vehicle was wrecked, he survived the crash, and shared the following statement.

\”When you have the Lord on your side nothing can harm you.\”

Johnson debuted in the WWF in 1995 and became the first African-American Intercontinental Champion the following year. 1996 also saw Johnson headline In Your House 9: International Incident, as part of a six-man tag-team match. He left the WWF in 1998 and later wrestled in WCW as \’Big T.\’

Thankfully, Johnson is okay, but this situation could have gone very differently. This situation shows why nobody should ever get behind the wheel while intoxicated.

  • Kickstarter Launched For Hulk Hogan Biography Book Series

A new series of books chronicling the life and career of Hulk Hogan could be coming if a Kickstarter campaign reaches its goal. The campaign is being launched by Guy Evans, who shared that people reached out to him about a book following Hogan\’s passing in July 2025.

\”In the wake of Bollea\’s death, however, it became clear to me that my untitled book – tentatively known as The Hulk Hogan Story – couldn’t be adequately confined to a single volume. It is thus now my intention to develop a biographical trilogy on this most important subject – the first of its kind in the genre. That\’s right…three full-length books on the life, career and unparalleled cultural impact of Hulk Hogan!\”

If successful, the series will feature more than 100 exclusive interviews. It will be available in paperback, audiobook, and e-book formats. Kickstarter backers will also receive access to an exclusive hardcover version.

Evans is well-equipped to tackle the project. In 2018, he published NITRO: The Incredible Rise and Inevitable Collapse of Ted Turner’s WCW. The 590-page book earned praise for its accuracy and depth, and it remains one of the most detailed non-fiction wrestling books to date.

The Kickstarter campaign has not yet launched, but fans can sign up to be notified when it goes live. Though Hogan may no longer be with us, the legacy he left behind continues to shape the wrestling world.

  • AEW Talent Take To Social Media Over Lack Of Opportunities

AEW has a massive roster, which means that not everyone can be prominently featured every single week. On X, Queen Aminata shared that she wants more promo time, and made reference to \’TK\’ (Tony Khan) in her post. Aminata would also like to be in more mixed tag-team matches going forward.

Aminata isn\’t the only star who isn\’t thrilled with their current position in AEW. In a reply, Deonna Purrazzo shared that like Aminata, she hopes to do much more in Tony Khan\’s promotion.

Purrazzo signed with AEW in January 2024. Given her past as a former Knockouts Champion and a top name in TNA, many expected big things for her as an All-Elite star. Instead, Purrazzo has been absent from TV for much of her AEW career, and has spoken openly about a lack of TV time.

Purrazzo has had just three matches for AEW in 2025, all of which she lost. Her most recent match saw her lose to Harley Cameron during a February edition of Dynamite. Her most recent victory was during the \’Winter is Coming\’ edition of Rampage in December 2024.

Whether Tony Khan takes their requests on board, time will tell. For now, both Aminata and Purrazzo remain wanting much more in their roles as part of the AEW roster.

  • Tessa Blanchard Makes CMLL Return, Match Confirmed

Tessa Blanchard made her return to CMLL during the October 1, episode of CMLL Informa. During the show, it was stated that while Blanchard is under contract with TNA, her deal allows her the chance to compete in CMLL.

It was confirmed that Blanchard will be in action for CMLL on October 10, though it is unclear who she will be facing. Blanchard last competed for CMLL in November 2024, where she lost to Persephone.

In July of this year, following her return to TNA Wrestling, Blanchard claimed on Refin It Up that she had been told that she could not perform for both TNA and CMLL. At the time, Blanchard was told that \’alliances\’ were the reason why she couldn\’t work for both companies, though that has clearly changed.

While fans can expect to see Blanchard in CMLL, she has been absent from the ongoing storyline between TNA and WWE NXT. Blanchard has yet to appear at any invasion of WWE NXT programming and, despite being a top star in the Knockouts division, was not selected to represent TNA at the upcoming Showdown event.

Blanchard remains a source of controversy among many fans, but both CMLL and TNA Wrestling are ready to work with her. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Blanchard\’s work in the ring.

  • Ash By Elegance Situation Not A Work, Says Tommy Dreamer

At TNA Victory Road, Ash By Elegance forfeited the Knockouts Championship, announcing that she is stepping away from in-ring competition. With details about her situation unclear, some have speculated that her departure from TNA programming is merely a \’work\’ but that isn\’t the case.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Dreamer, who works both on and off screen for TNA, confirmed that Ash\’s situation is legitimate. Dreamer added that \”people shouldn\’t speculate\” about her situation. Dreamer compared the situation to Seth Rollins\’ worked injury, though their situations are much different.

“If it’s a work, you’re not going to hand in your title. the Seth Rollins thing, people were speculating… But with Ash… things changed because she stepped down and it sucks.”

Ash\’s setback comes mere weeks after she won the TNA Knockouts Title, her first major singles title in her wrestling career. Now, the title is once again in the hands of WWE NXT as Kelani Jordan captured the vacated gold.

Ash\’s situation wasn\’t the only major change to the Knockouts Title scene at Victory Road. Originally, Ash had been set to defend against Masha Slamovich. That match was pulled following allegations that Masha had been abusive during a previous relationship with independent wrestler AKIRA.

It remains to be seen what\’s next for Ash, who spent much of her wrestling career as Dana Brooke in WWE. While some may believe (or at least, hope,) that her injury is just part of an elaborate ploy, the reality is much worse.
