  • CM Punk Slams Those Who Wait At Airports & Hotels: You Are A Stalker!

WWE Superstar CM Punk has once again reminded fans of the importance of privacy with a strongly worded message on social media. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Punk made clear that those who lurk around waiting to accost wrestlers are no better than stalkers.

“We unfortunately have to have this conversation again. Do not turn up at airports. Do not show up at hotels. I cannot believe I have to say this. DO NOT FOLLOW PEOPLE. You\’ve repeatedly been politely told no, respect it. You are not a fan, you are a stalker and will be treated as such. Respect the boundaries. Stop harassing people.\”

It\’s unclear if a specific incident has prompted this message from Punk, but this is not his first time speaking on the matter. In 2024, Punk called out fans waiting at airports for autographs, sharing that they often use their children as \’shields\’ to avoid criticism. Cody Rhodes recently shared that many who wait at airports simply get autographs to sell on for profit.

Punk will mark two years since returning to WWE next month, and has a future World Heavyweight Championship opportunity lined up. While Punk is pleased to represent WWE and appreciates his legion of fans, he has no time for those who take things too far.

  • Fatal Influence Confirms New Member After Jazmyn Nyx\’s WWE Exit

WWE NXT\’s Fatal Influence lost a member when Jazmyn Nyx parted ways with WWE after choosing not to sign a new contract. Now, the faction is once again a trio as Laney Reid has officially aligned with Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley.

On the October 14, 2025, episode of WWE NXT, Reid was introduced as the faction\’s newest member. Reid said that Jayne and Henley were \”titans\” of the NXT Women\’s division. She added that a recent loss to Jayne made her realize that she needed to follow their approach and be dedicated to \”winning at all costs.\”

Reid confirmed that she was the one who attacked Nyx, a kayfabe explanation of why the ex-NXT star is no longer part of the group. After making her intentions clear, Reid was officially welcomed in by Jacy Jayne.

With Reid now joining the dominant faction, fans can expect to see much more of her on TV. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Fatal Influence.

  • Jeff Hardy: I Didn\’t Think I\’d Live To See 2025

Jeff Hardy is immensely grateful to be able to compete in 2025, a year that for a time, the former WWE World Champion thought he\’d never see. When The Hardys sat down with Justin Barrasso for Undisputed, Matt shared what had changed the most for the brothers in the ring.

“The biggest difference between then and now is Father Time. The amount of abuse we’ve put our bodies through.”

Jeff then shared his somber reasoning, that he felt that he would not live to see 2025. Hardy explained his belief, sharing that the action and bumps he took in the early 2000s left him contemplating his own mortality.

“Tell you the truth, I didn’t think I’d be alive in 2025… It was madness back in the early 2000s.”

Not only are the brothers alive in 2025, but the veterans are thriving. Matt and Jeff recently captured the House of Glory Tag Team Titles, kicking off their fourth current tag title reign. At TNA Bound for Glory, the Hardys retained the WWE NXT and TNA World Tag Team Titles against Team 3D, in what is believed to be the final match of Bully Ray and Devon.

Jeff\’s fears about his mortality stemmed from his work in the ring, and he did not reference his past issues with substance abuse. Nevertheless, both Hardy Boys are grateful that they can still entertain fans worldwide in 2025.

  • AEW\’s Ruby Soho & Angelo Parker Opening Board Game Café

Ruby Soho and Angelo Parker have established themselves in the ring for years, and are now making moves in the world of board games. The couple, who married in May of last year, is opening their very own board game café, fittingly named Victory Roll, in Mishawaka, Indiana.

According to ABC 57, the café officially opens its doors on Thursday, October 16, and will serve specialty coffees, a food menu, and plenty of board games and role-playing games. Speaking to ABC 57, Parker reflected on how wrestling helped the pair realize their board game café goal.

\”I think wrestling afforded my wife and I a life and ability to go into something like this. And I think it would be a disservice not to pay homage to the thing that really helped us get here.\”

The wrestling connection runs deep at Victory Roll, whose name is itself a reference to in-ring action. One drink available is a \’Stone Cold Brew,\’ named after \’Stone Cold\’ Steve Austin, and the café\’s logo features a luchador mask. Championship title belts can also be found inside, cementing the connection between wrestling and this venture.

Parker and Soho are currently off of AEW TV on maternity leave after the pair welcomed their daughter into the world last year. With that in mind, Victory Roll will include games for younger guests as well as a children\’s area for families to enjoy an experience for all ages.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Angelo Parker and Ruby Soho\’s efforts, both in and out of the ring.

  • Former WWE LFG Star BJ Ray Seeks AEW Opportunity After Release

WWE recently parted ways with several Superstars, including WWE LFG standout BJ Ray. Taking to X, Ray has wasted no time in attempting to secure a job with AEW. On the platform, Ray tagged AEW President Tony Khan and told him, \”Your boy is ready,\” adding that he is a \”Ratings Machine.\”

With his brash, in-your-face personality, Ray quickly asserted himself as somebody to watch during WWE LFG. Ray made it to the final episode of WWE LFG season 1, but ultimately lost to Jasper Troy. Season 2 saw Ray make it to Episode 13 as part of the group of prospects led by Bubba Ray Dudley, despite often being at odds with the WWE Legend.

Ray wrestled for much of his WWE tenure with a torn rotator cuff and labrum, but that didn\’t stop him from giving his all in the ring. Time will tell if a future in AEW awaits BJ Ray, as he\’s certainly got big plans to become \’All-Elite.\’

  • Stevie Turner on Her WWE Exit: I Have No Regrets, Just Gratitude

Stevie Turner was among those cut from WWE in October 2025, bringing an abrupt end to her role as WWE Evolve\’s General Manager. On X, Turner shared a statement, addressing her feelings now that her time with WWE has come to an end.

“I wanted to give it a few days to process my feelings and deliver a genuine message; I’m overwhelmed with love and I am so, so bloody proud of all I did as Stevie Turner. From working in ‘NXT UK’ in my home of London, to leaving it all and flying across the world and achieving a life goal by moving to ‘NXT’ Orlando.

\”I was 4D, a streamer, made history in the first ever TNA/’NXT’ match and became the Prime Minister of Evolve. I loved every second of everything I did, and despite not having the simplest journey, I’m proud I always gave 100% to everything presented to me. I have no regrets, no loss of love – just a heart full of gratitude and wonder for the future.

\”I’m excited to keep working on the feature film ‘Welcome to Paradise’ with Crucible Films and show what I can offer the world of voice acting/acting. And of course, I’m excited to lace my wrestling boots again.

\”My one hope is that in all I’ve done, that I would have made my late tag partner Hana Kimura proud, because without her, I would have never had the confidence to push further for my dreams.”

Turner joined WWE in 2021, initially as part of WWE NXT UK before moving to WWE NXT. During her tenure with the company, Turner would see major changes professionally and personally, including marrying her husband Kit Wilson.

Wilson wrestled just over 50 times during her time with WWE and is excited to get back in the ring outside of the promotion. While losing a job is rarely a fun time, Turner is grateful for her WWE tenure and is ready for what comes next.

  • IYO SKY Recalls Her Terror During WarGames Trash Can Moonsault

IYO SKY took her usual moonsault to the next level when she hit her signature move off of the WarGames structure, all while wearing a trash can on her body. SKY\’s move instantly went viral after her performance at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024, but this feat was far from easy for the \’Genius of the Sky.\’

Appearing on Chris Van Vliet\’s Insight podcast, SKY recalled the moment in question. While SKY has hit moonsaults countless times, placing the trash can on herself changed the move completely.

\”I was standing on the edge and try to put my trash can and then I realized at that time oh my gosh I can\’t see anything!\”

SKY was momentarily stunned, fearing that she would not be able to pull of the move. Despite these fears, SKY\’s determination to put on a show for the WWE Universe watching worldwide won out.

    \”[I thought] \’Oh my gosh, I can\’t, I can\’t, I can\’t do it. No I have to do… because camera is here so show must go on.\’\”

With Survivor Series approaching, time will tell if SKY is part of this year\’s Women\’s WarGames match. While the Japanese Superstar may struggle to top her performance in 2024, fans shouldn\’t count out another viral moment from IYO SKY.

  • IYO SKY On How WrestleMania 41 Win Honored Japan\’s Wrestlers

IYO SKY triumphed at WrestleMania 41, defeating Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair to retain the WWE Women\’s World Championship. For SKY, this win wasn\’t just about retaining gold, or even beating two of WWE\’s top women, but also about doing her family, her country, and herself proud.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast, SKY gushed about the match and her victory. For SKY, her win proved how far Japanese wrestlers have come in WWE.

\”[For a] Long time Japanese wrestler didn\’t win at Wrestlemania. Even for women\’s Japanese wrestler, first time ever in WWE to win in Wrestlemania.\”

SKY\’s parents made the trip from Japan to Las Vegas to see their daughter in action, and were crying as they saw IYO stand tall on WWE\’s grandest stage. SKY shared that the match is her favorite of her entire career, given its profound impact.

\”Here I have a lot of favorite matches, but yeah, that is totally special to my life.”

SKY was able to walk from and to the Gorilla Position as a champion after dispatching of \’Mami\’ and \’The EST.\’ Recalling the post-match atmosphere backstage, SKY was grateful to have had the chance to work with two of WWE\’s very best.

“I was so happy, but so honored and grateful to everyone like, of course, Bianca Belair, of course, Rhea Ripley, I’m so honored to be there with them.”

SKY\’s title reign has since ended, but the impact her WrestleMania 41 victory will last a lifetime. For IYO SKY, it doesn\’t get better than standing tall as WWE\’s top women on its grandest stage, all while making history.

  • IYO SKY On WWE Promos In English: I Struggle Every Day

IYO SKY has become one of the most popular women in WWE today, all while conversing in a language that isn\’t her native tongue. Appearing on Chris Van Vliet\’s Insight podcast, SKY shared that even after years of working in WWE, conversing in English is still a struggle.

\”Every single day I struggle to speak English… Promos make me so nervous, even only [a] short line, makes me so nervous. Even backstage promos, everything.\”

SKY studied English at school in her native Japan, but those lessons only covered writing and grammar, not speaking. Upon joining WWE, SKY enrolled in an English Language course, though that did little to help.

\”I went to English school once I get contract with WWE. But [the school was] only 30 minutes in a week or one hour a week or twice a week or something like that. So it didn\’t so much help, better than nothing.\”

SKY continues to develop her skills speaking English with every appearance for WWE. For the \’Genius of the Sky,\’ her desire is to properly convey WWE\’s storylines to even its youngest audience members.

\”We are on TV. Behind the screen, behind the camera, has a lot of children [watching.] So that\’s why I\’m always careful [to] speak proper English.\”

SKY\’s dedication to improving has been rewarded as the former Women\’s & Women\’s World Champion is one of WWE\’s top women today. Her story shows the importance of perserverance and how SKY continues to strive to be her very best as a WWE Superstar.

  • Darby Allin: Wrestling Is Staged, So Why Have An Ego?

AEW\’s Darby Allin has slammed those in pro-wrestling who have too big an ego, given that those \’winning\’ matches only do so because it\’s in the script. Appearing on the Ariel Helwani Show, Allin explained his stance.

\”This is all staged. It\’s the greatest thing in the world but it\’s staged. So if you\’re going to have an ego about that…\”

Despite being one of AEW\’s top stars, Allin tries to keep himself grounded and shared that climbing Mt. Everest helped keep him level-headed. Allin also shared some advice for those whose ego causes problems behind the scenes.

\”Get out of the f***ing sport. Go be in the UFC. Go try— don\’t be bringing that s*** here. This is about having fun.\”

AEW is no stranger to egos causing conflict behind the scenes. During the same interview, Allin shared that a \’cancer\’ was cut out of AEW, and the company is better for it. While some have seen this comment as a swing at CM Punk, who has been called a cancer in the past, Allin said he was not speaking about one particular person, but instead about groups of people.

Allin is ready to do what is right for AEW, rather than inflate his own ego. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Darby Allin, both in and out of the ring.

  • Scott Steiner Brings Back Steiner Math After Bron Breakker’s WWE Betrayal

On the October 13, edition of WWE Raw, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker attacked Seth Rollins, bringing an abrupt end to Rollins\’ time with The Vision. This betrayal shocked fans watching the show, and now WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner has shared his two cents.

Taking to X, Steiner, the uncle of Bron Breakker, reacted to his nephew\’s actions.

\”So let me break it down for all you dummies that don’t understand what just happened…..

\”You take Seth Rollins — the so-called “Visionary” — and you put him in a ring with Bron Breakker, a Genetic Freak. But what Seth didn’t calculate… was the betrayal quotient.

    \”Now let’s do the math:

\”Seth thought he had a 100% chance of survival with Bron at his side…

\”But what he didn’t know is that Bron’s got 66 2/3% loyalty when you factor in family bloodlines, and the other 33 1/3% is PURE RAGE.

\” So now Seth’s sitting there, asking “WHYYYY?” I’ll TELL YA WHY!

\”Because Bron Breakker’s not here to play backup. He’s here to take over! He’s the dog-faced destroyer, and now the leash is OFF.

\”So Seth… You took your eye off the math… You had a 141 2/3% chance of getting BETRAYED… And now you’re just another statistic in the Steiner Equation of Pain!\”

Fans in the comments were excited to see Steiner once again demonstrate his math skills. When one called Scott a \”F\’ing Mathematical Genius!\” Steiner pointed out that he comes \”from a highly educated university,\” the University of Michigan. Another praised Steiner\’s post as \”well explained,\” which prompted Scott to ask \”Did you expect less?\”

Steiner\’s post is an obvious nod to his popular \’Steiner Math\’ promo from 2008, in which he guaranteed victory in a triple-threat match at TNA Sacrifice. While Steiner would go on to lose said match, he has since claimed that his reasoning with sound.

With Seth Rollins reportedly out with an injury, albeit one that has many in WWE feeling skeptical, it remains to be seen what\’s next for Bron and Bronson Reed. Whatever is to come, Scott Steiner remains interested in his nephew\’s next move.

  • Darby Allin Is Pleased That The \”Cancer\” Got Cut Out Of AEW

Darby Allin has been a part of AEW for years, and is pleased to see the company move on from a difficult number of years. Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Allin reflected on the shift in AEW, and believes the company is in a much better place.

\”A few years ago, you definitely felt this tension, but now everybody\’s on the same page. Let\’s make this place as good as possible… The cancer got cut out. Just egotistical wrestlers who don\’t want to lose.\”

Allin\’s comment about a \’cancer\’ has led many to suggest he was speaking about CM Punk. Chris Jericho reportedly called Punk a \’cancer\’ to AEW\’s locker-room after the infamous \’Brawl Out.\’ In early 2023, Seth Rollins would also call Punk a cancer, though Punk would return to WWE later that same year.

When pressed if he was speaking about one particular person, Allin said that his cancer comments were about \”groups of people.\” Ultimately, Allin is grateful to be in AEW and under the direction of Tony Khan.

\”Tony wants everybody, in the ring and in their personal life, to be happy. That\’s a really good energy. I feel like right now, more than ever, everybody\’s on the same wavelength. Everybody has the same goal.\”

Allin has good reason to be grateful to be part of AEW. Considered one of the \’pillars\’ of the company, Allin is a multiple-time former TNT Champion and has often found himself competing for the AEW World Championship. With the \’cancer\’ gone, Darby Allin is looking forward to many more positive years as an \’All-Elite\’ talent.

  • Jackass\’ Bam Margera Says Never Say Never To AEW Appearance

Wrestling has often brought in celebrities, whether as in-ring talents or in other, less violent roles on screen. Now, Jackass star Bam Margera has addressed the possibility of stepping inside an AEW ring himself.

Speaking with The Sportster, Margera was asked whether fans might see him appear in AEW in the near future. Margera shared that Darby Allin has brought it up, and he won\’t rule out the idea.

“He keeps asking me, so never say never. Our paths just haven’t crossed yet for me to make it to one of his wrestling shows.\”

While Margera has yet to take in an AEW show with Allin on the card, the pair are friends. Margera shared that he and Allin often go skateboarding together, calling it their \’thing.\’

\”But whenever he’s in town — I always go skate with him, whether it’s in Atlanta, where he lives, or in Philly. Skating is our thing.\”

Margera has yet to wrestle, but has plenty of history dealing with pain. Stunts from his days with Jackass include him being branded, crashing a golf cart, and being shot with hundreds of rubber balls, leaving him with welts and bruises.

The worlds of Jackass and wrestling have collided in the past, with stars from the show (though not Margera) appearing on WWE Raw in 2006. Years later, Johnny Knoxville and the Jackass crew would be a part of WrestleMania 38 in Texas.

Whether Margera makes an in-ring debut remains to be seen. But with his pain threshold well and truly established, fans shouldn\’t count it out.

  • Backstage Response To Seth Rollins\’ Reported Injury

Seth Rollins is reportedly dealing with an injury, one that has forced WWE to dramatically change plans for the World Heavyweight Champion. During the October 13, WWE Raw, Rollins was attacked by Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, bringing an early end to his time leading the duo.

Many in WWE are skeptical of Rollins\’ latest setback, Dave Meltzer reports. It\’s noted that, given that WWE fooled a lot of its own people earlier this year with Rollins \’injury\’ at Saturday Night\’s Main Event, many in the company aren\’t ready to believe anything.

\”They were told it was from an injury in the match with Cody Rhodes. But after being told his other injury was legit, many are not fully believing anything right now.\”

Rollins and WWE faked an injury earlier this year, which would be revealed when Seth cashed in Money in the Bank at WWE SummerSlam. The report added that now, WWE is struggling to convince those backstage that Rollins\’ current situation is on the level.

“In the attempt to work everyone… the lack of trust right now is pretty high.”

These are still early days for Rollins\’ injury, and it remains to be seen what the future holds for himself, The Vision, and the World Heavyweight Championship. While CM Punk has an opportunity at the gold lined up, time will tell if he faces his long-time rival for the gold.

  • Tony Khan Visits Kota Ibushi In The Hospital After Femur Surgery

AEW President Tony Khan made sure to visit Kota Ibushi in the hospital as the Japanese star continues to recover from broken femur surgery. On Instagram, Ibushi was grateful that Khan took the time to see him in the hospital, though was somewhat embarrassed that Khan had to see him this way.

\”The boss came around alone and everyone was surprised, and I was surprised in the first place. You don\’t usually show up like this, why do you do all that?\”

Ibushi was stretchered out of the latest taping of AEW Collision, and later confirmed on social media that he was dealing with a broken femur. After the taping, Khan appeared in front of the crowd and expressed his appreciation for Ibushi.

In a previous post, Ibushi shared that he could be out of action for over a year and reflected on dealing with injuries and setbacks for years. Kota went as far as to say that another setback like this will leave him living like a normal person, seemingly indicating a potential retirement from wrestling.

Ibushi signed a new contract with AEW in August 2025 after a near-two-year hiatus from the company. While Ibushi won\’t be wrestling anytime soon, he clearly has the support of all of AEW on his side.

  • WWE Alum Claims Company Is Withholding Royalty Checks

WWE\’s royalty checks have been under the spotlight as of late, with Kevin Nash claiming that his earning have been halved thanks to TKO. While Nash isn\’t pleased with earning less from his royalties, he is at least getting something, which is more than what Stevie Richards can say.

Appearing on The Stevie Richards Show YouTube channel, the Right to Censor alum discussed Nash’s situation and revealed that despite years of work with WWE, he hasn’t received a royalty check in nearly a decade.

\”I have to call WWE. I haven’t gotten a royalty check in probably 10 years, and I’m definitely not getting one now.\”

Richards said that Nash has begun a game of \’chicken\’ as time will tell whether WWE will respond to his complaint. Richards is hopeful that Nash\’s comments will lead to other coming forward.

\”Once Kevin stands his ground, and I assume Sean Waltman will too, that could open the door for other talent—especially within the nWo group.\”

Richards acknowledged that he wouldn’t expect payments comparable to Nash or other nWo members, but still wants clarity about what he’s owed. He confirmed plans to reach out to WWE’s talent relations department to investigate the issue.

\”I’m telling you, I haven’t seen a single check in 10 yearsI’m actually going to email talent relations after this and ask if I’m owed any royalty checks, because I haven’t gotten one in 8 to 10 years.\”

Richards was part of WWE from 1999 to 2008, during which he became a 21-time Hardcore Champion and led the Right to Censor faction. With a lasting legacy in WWE history, time will tell if Richards will finally receive what he’s due.

  • Jin Tala Reacts After WWE Exit: I\’ve Always Been A Fighter

WWE Evolve\’s Jin Tala, who was part of WWE LFG as Leigh Laurel, was among those to leave WWE as part of recent cuts. Now, the former Superstar has made clear that this setback won\’t be the end of her wrestling career.

On X, Laurel, who signed with Evolve after her elimination from WWE LFG, shared a message regarding her WWE departure. Laurel shared how WWE was more than a job, but her sole focus.

“I wasn’t just fascinated by the physical aspects of pro wrestling, what hooked me was the psychology… the emotions that can be expressed by wrestlers & felt by the audience.”

Laurel added that she put 110% of herself into her work, refuting any claims that her exit was due to a lack of commitment. Laurel never shied away from asking the coaches for advice, and reflected on why exactly she was let go.

“Maybe it came down to timing, did I break down those walls quick enough? Maybe I was just an unrecognizable name on a list, or maybe they just don’t see what I see in myself.”

While Laurel is out of WWE\’s system, there is a wider wrestling world out there for her. Rather than be defeated, she plans on using this setback to push herself further.

“I’m not giving up. Jin Tala may be no more. But Leigh Laurel has always been a fighter.”

Jin Tala\’s final match came during an October 4, WWE NXT live event, where she lost to WWE LFG season 1 winner Tyra Mae Steele. It remains to be seen what\’s next for Leigh Laurel outside of WWE.

  • Team 3D Hint At Retirement After Bound for Glory 2025 Loss

Team 3D (Bully Ray and Devon) battled Matt and Jeff Hardy one final time at TNA Bound for Glory 2025, in an epic war between two iconic tag teams. The match saw both the WWE NXT and TNA World Tag Team Championships on the line, with the Hardys walking in as double champions.

Brother Runt—known to WWE fans as Spike Dudley—accompanied his brothers to the ring for the tables match. The Hardys sealed the win by sending Bubba through a table to retain their gold.

After the match, Bully Ray and Devon removed their wrestling boots and handed them to the Hardy Boys. In wrestling, leaving one\’s wrestling boots behind signifies a wrestler\’s retirement. The four hugged in the ring after the bout, much to the appreciation of the crowd.

Devon had previously made clear that Bound for Glory would be his final match, and it looks like Bully Ray will be joining him. Facing one of wrestling\’s most iconic teams at TNA\’s biggest show of the year, there are certainly worse ways for Team 3D to bring an end to their in-ring career.

  • Mike Santana Wins TNA World Title At Bound For Glory 2025

The TNA World Championship is back in the hands of TNA Wrestling following Mike Santan\’s victory at Bound for Glory. Santana ended the reign of WWE NXT\’s Trick Williams, who had declared himself \”the greatest TNA Champion of all time,\” during a pre-match promo.

Santana was busted open during the match, but refused to be beaten. Santana got the win with a clothesline and a \’Spin the Block\’ to capture his first TNA World Championship.

You can check outsome highlights from the match below.

After the match, Nic Nemeth attempted to cash in his \’Call Your Shot Gauntlet\’ win and bring an early end to Santana\’s title win. However, Elijah made sure Nemeth wouldn\’t have the chance to cash-in his guaranteed title opportunity.

    https://twitter.com/ThisIsTNA/status/1977576021840089331

Now, one of TNA\’s two major titles is back in the hands of TNA Wrestling, as Kelani Jordan retained the TNA Knockouts Title at Bound for Glory. With TNA also in possession of the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles, it remains to be seen what\’s next for both sides.

  • Kiera Hogan Confirms AEW Exit, Taking A Break From Wrestling

In September 2025, Kiera Hogan\’s profile was removed from the AEW roster page of its website, leaving many to suspect that she had parted ways with the company. During a recent virtual signing for RDP Promotions, Hogan was asked about her current AEW status, and confirmed that she has left.

“No. I worked at AEW until this year, and now I am a free agent.”

Hogan spoke highly of her time with AEW and was grateful for her experience as an All-Elite talent. While she didn\’t rule out a return, pro-wrestling isn\’t her focus at this point of her life.

\”I know doors are never closed. I’m actually on a little bit of a break right now, because I have something coming up.\”

2025 has seen Hogan explore opportunities outside of the ring. Earlier this year, she appeared on the reality television show Joseline’s Cabaret California on Zeus Network as a cast member. While wrestling isn\’t her focus right now, that doesn\’t mean fans will never see her in the ring again.

Outside of AEW, Hogan made a name for herself in TNA Wrestling, where she won the Knockouts Tag Titles twice with Tasha Steelz. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Kiera Hogan\’s next chapter, both in and out of the ring.

  • Kota Ibushi Out With Broken Femur, Could Miss Over A Year

On Instagram, Ibushi shared an update from his hospital bed. The 43-year-old shared that he is dealing with a broken femur, the latest on a list of serious injuries in his wrestling career.

\”I\’ve only had serious injuries. This is a broken femur, and the broken bone is trying to break through the flesh.\”

Ibushi has undergone surgery, and is hopeful to make a return to the ring. But after \”five years of breaking, healing, and accidents,\” Ibushi realizes that he can\’t afford many more setbacks in wrestling.

\”I get another serious injury, I plan to live my life as a normal person from now on.\”

Ibushi has beet met with a ton of support from fans and his fellow wrestlers. In hospital, Ibushi had received a bouqet of flowers and a card from Tony Khan, gestures that have touched Kota.

\”I can\’t believe the president [Khan] himself gave me a bouquet and a letter. After something like this, I can\’t quit again! I cried.\”

Ibushi is feeling worse-for-wear after his broken femur. According to the AEW standout, he can only move his toes and is in a tremendous amount of pain.

\”Right now, I\’m in so much pain that I can only move my toes. I was surprised that I still had a sense of pain.\”

Ibushi isn\’t sure how long he\’ll be out for, but sugested it could be as long as a year-and-a-half. Our best wishes remain with him at this difficult time.

  • Crown Jewel: Perth Earns \”B\” Grade From ESPN, Better Than WrestlePalooza

WWE Crown Jewel: Perth was a noticeable improvement on the previous month\’s Wrestlepalooza, according to those at ESPN. Reviewing the Australian event, ESPN\’s Andreas Hale gave Crown Jewel: Perth a B grade with the following explanation.

“A show that stumbled out of the gates with a relatively tame street fight and a far too brief affair between women’s champions was rescued by an absolutely stellar match between Cena and Styles that put an excellent bookend to their rivalry. Rollins finally getting his comeuppance against Rhodes — by any means necessary — and the women’s tag match were both strong and anchored a memorable bounce back for WWE after a middling Wrestlepalooza.”

Hale added that John Cena Vs. AJ Styles was the clear standout match of the night. He described it as \”a love letter to wrestling\” and awarded the match an A grade. The bout saw both men pay tribute to past rivals in what was Cena\’s final match competing outside of the United States.

Hale had previously given Wrestlepalooza a C rating, criticizing the show\’s lack of surprises and failure to deliver on its promised hype. Many saw this as a bad omen for WWE\’s partnership with ESPN and believed that a more favorable review would have been given.

With Crown Jewel: Perth in the history books, WWE\’s attention will now turn to Survivor Series: WarGames in November. It remains to be seen what ESPN makes of the show, the first of the \’Big 5\’ that will be part of the ESPN deal.

  • Ronda Rousey Shuts Down UFC Comeback Rumors After Second Child

Ronda Rousey hasn\’t competed in UFC in years, but rumors continue to persist that she will make a return to the Octagon. When TMZ Sports recently spoke to Rousey, they asked if a comeback was in the works.

\”I just had a baby, you know what I mean? I’m just trying to get my bodily identity back and nothing more. I’m just enjoying being in the gym again and feeling a lot better and healthier.\”

Rousey gave birth to her and Travis Browne’s second daughter in July 2024, naming her Liko’ula P?’?omahinakaipiha Browne. For Rousey, her current focus is on reconnecting with herself post-pregnancy.

\”Have you ever had kids? Well, it just feels really good to get that freedom of movement back, you know, and just train for the love of it again. I feel like that’s something that got lost before. So yeah, I’m just really enjoying myself.\”

Rousey parted ways with the UFC in 2016 and joined WWE two years later. The former Women’s Champion left WWE in 2023 and has been openly critical of the company and Vince McMahon ever since. Rousey has ruled out a WWE return and has said she believes WWE will erase her impact in pro wrestling.

For the Olympic Bronze medalist, life now revolves around family and self-discovery. While fans may hope to see her return to either the cage or the squared circle, the “Baddest Woman on the Planet” is focused on being a mom.

  • WWE Re-Signs Evolve Men\’s Champion After Recent Exits

WWE may have made several cuts to its roster, but WWE Evolve Champion Jackson Drake is reportedly safe for the time being. Bodyslam.net reports that Drake\’s WWE ID contract has been renewed by WWE, keeping him with the promotion.

Drake became the first-ever WWE Evolve Champion in June of this year by winning a fatal four-way elimination match to make history. Now, Drake joins the likes of Buddy Rogers, Pat Patterson, Harley Race, Finn Balor, and others as an inaugural champion.

While Drake will be staying with WWE, others have not been so fortunate. Zayda Steel, Kylie Rae, Zara Zakher, and others have all parted with WWE in recent days. These talents either opted not to re-sign with WWE ID, their deals were not renewed, or were simply released from WWE.

Before WWE, Drake appeared in several promotions including Beyond Wrestling and CZW. From 2022 to 2024, Drake competed three times on AEW programming but lost all three of his matches.

Time will tell how far WWE\’s first Evolve champion goes, and whether he makes it to the main roster. For now, Drake is still part of WWE as the company sees something in the young Superstar.

  • Ridge Holland Gives Update On Lisfranc Injury, Staying Positive

Ridge Holland suffered a Lisfranc injury during a taping for TNA Wrestling that brought his match with Mosse to an early end. On October 3, the Welsh Superstar went under the knife for surgery and has now shared an update on his condition.

Taking to X, Holland shared the following:

\”I just wanted to give a bit of an update on the recovery. I\’m just here with the family at the resort, take them away for the weekend. Get them out of the house. I\’m sat here in the hotel room with my laptop and my foot up while they\’re at the pool… Hopefully, I can get back into the gym Monday. I get a cast put on Thursday. I think I’ll be in that probably three weeks and then we can start weight bearing.\”

Holland added that staying positive was his focus, and he is excited to get back in the gym. The former NXT Tag Team Champion added that he\’s been \”going absolutely crazy\” during his recovery as he\’s not been able to work out in the gym.

A Lisfranc injury occurs when one of more of the metatarsal bones in the foot are displaced from the tarsus. In late 2024, AJ Styles suffered a Lisfranc injury during his first match back after months away. The setback forced Styles to miss close to four months of action before returning as part of the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match.

Holland has been part of WWE NXT for some time now, and was seemingly poised to play a role in the NXT-TNA InVasion storyline. Instead, he will have to watch the show from the sidelines as he recovers from this setback.
