Liv Morgan’s road to WWE Night of Champions Premium Live Event hit a setback. On the WWE live event in Birmingham, England, on Sunday, June 21, the reigning WWE Women’s World Champion seemingly suffered an injury. It occurred during her Fatal-4 Way match title defense against IYO Sky, Lyra Valkyria, and Sol Ruca.

The spot happened when the reigning WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion botched a high-flying move and awkwardly landed on Morgan’s leg. Moreover, she was visibly having difficulty standing, and concerns began to float regarding the severity of her injury.

However, in a surprise turn of events, Sol Ruca decided to make her official X account private. It could possibly be due to avoiding negative comments from fans who might hold her responsible for Morgan’s injury, days before a high-stakes clash for her.

The Judgment Day member had been impressive in the Queen of the Ring tournament. She survived a Fatal 4-Way match in the opening round and then defeated Charlotte Flair on SmackDown last week to advance to the finals.

Morgan is set to face IYO Sky in the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions. Moreover, she advertised her appearance on RAW and confirmed she is heading to London, where the event is taking place. So, it will be interesting to see if she breaks the silence about the nature of her injury and would be cleared to head to Night of Champions for one of the most significant bouts of her career.
