  • Grabby WWE Fan Gives Her Side, Argues Selective Outrage

    At the March 24, edition of WWE Raw in Glasgow, things turned sour after the show went off the air. One fan in attendance repeatedly grabbed at CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, making for an uncomfortable situation. After Punk made clear that this wasn\’t appropriate, the fan grabbed him again. Punk allegedly warned the fan that if she tried to cross the line again “I’m going to punch you in the face.”

    Footage of the incident was recorded by a photographer named Kirsten and footage of the incident quickly went viral. The fan in question has been identified as Morgan Holly Moore, an Only Fans model and content creator. On her Instagram, Moore was unfazed by the backlash to her actions inside Glasgow\’s OVO Hydro arena.

    Morgan also took to X to explain her side of things and was far less smug about what transpired. Moore claimed that she was unaware of a \’no-touching policy.\’ She also mocked the hygenie of other fans, saying it \”makes sense\” that WWE talent wouldn\’t want to touch fans.

    Moore also questioned the uproar from other WWE fans which she finds to be hypocritical. Moore argued that fans have been selective with their outrage given that they\’ll still watch Logan Paul despite the many controversies to his name. Moore also brought up WWE promoting someone \”that beat up his wife,\” a nod to WWE Hall of Famer \’Stone Cold\’ Steve Austin.

    Moore\’s actions at the show have sparked a conversation among fans about fans who go too far when it comes to coming close with talent. While Superstars often get up-close with fans, typicallt for photos of other post-match moments, Moore clearly crossed a line with Punk and the American Nightmare.

  • Fake Chants Replace NSFW Comments On WrestleMania 40 Replay

    WWE launched on Netflix earlier this year in a blockbuster deal between the two entertainment juggernauts. While fans speculated that this would mark an end to the censorship seen on TV, that hasn\’t been the case at all.

    If one goes to watch WrestleMania 40\’s six-team ladder match, they\’ll see that some chants have not just been edited but replaced. During the match, \”Holy s***\” chants have been cut and replaced with piped-in chants of \”This is awesome.\” While the match was certainly awesome, this isn\’t the chant those attending the show inside Lincoln Financial Field gave at the time.

    This is the latest example of WWE content being muted on the Netflix era. Recent chants at WWE\’s European events have been muted, including the \”F*** you Cena\” chant from recent episodes of Monday Night Raw. Over on SmackDown, a botch from Solo Sikoa which led to the former Tribal Chief dropping an F-bomb has also been cut.

    WWE is letting a lot slide on TV and at PLEs, including Cody Rhodes telling The Rock to \”Go f*** yourself\” at Elimination Chamber: Toronto. With that in mind, it\’s clear that not every comment being made, either by fans or the Superstars themselves, is going to be part of replays.

  • Fan Carrying Liv Morgan\’s Mugshot Ejected From WWE Meet & Greet

    Liv Morgan isn’t laughing about her 2023 arrest, something she made very clear this week in London, England. Ahead of WWE Monday Night RAW in London, a fan attended a meet-and-greet hoping to snap a photo with Morgan. But instead of bringing merch, a championship belt, or a personalized sign, they showed up with a printed copy of her December 2023 mugshot.

    TikTok user Asad shared a video of the moment, explaining what went down:

    “Someone brought a Liv Morgan photo shot pic when she got arrested so they refused to take picture with them so we sang them bye.”

    In the video, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Dominik Mysterio are seen waving goodbye to the fan while the rest of the crowd sings them out. Clearly, Liv, her allies, and the rest of those at the event didn\’t see the funny side of the fan bringing up Morgan\’s legal trouble.

    Morgan was arrested in Sumter County, Florida, where she was charged with marijuana possession. Her attractive mugshot quickly went viral. Some fans praised her appearance in the photo, while others tried to capitalize on it, printing it on t-shirts and other gear. At the time, it was reported that Morgan had no heat with WWE, reflecting their changing stance on marijuana.

    Morgan\’s arrest did not stop her from having a career-defining 2024 with several massive wins to her name. To this day, the former Women\’s World Champion remains one of WWE’s most beloved stars, but if you’re bringing up her past for laughs, don’t expect a photo op.

  • Mick Foley Involved in Car Accident, Taken To Hospital

    WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is lucky to be alive after being involved in a serious car accident. On social media, Foley shared a photo from his wrecked vehicle.

    Foley\’s post sparked hundreds of well-wishes from fans and those from within the wrestling industry. Joey Janela highlighted that Foley is \”built different\” and said he\’s glad Foley is okay. Parker Boudreaux said he was \”so happy you\’re good,\” while So CalVal advised the WWE Hall of Famer to \”heal up well, legendary friend!\”

    Foley is no stranger to concussions and faced more than his fair share throughout his wrestling career. Though his time in the ring is over, the issues stemming from concussions prove to be an issue. Foley had intended to wrestle one final death match for her 60th birthday but canceled all plans after experiencing concussion-like symptoms.

    Booker T\’s commentary as part of WWE NXT has made him a fan favorite, but what does his wife Sharmell make to his often-flirty observations of the brand\’s women? Speaking to Muscle Man Malcolm, Booker shared that his darling queen knows that his comments are just for show.

    “She understands the business. She’s been in the entertainment business since she was a little girl — beauty pageants and whatnot.\”

    When Sharmell sees Booker salivate over the likes of Lola Vice, Stephanie Vaquer, or Jaida Parker, \”she knows that I\’m working.\” Reflecting further on his commentary, Booker made clear that his passionate calls aren\’t to get fans talking about him, but the talent in the ring.

    The two-time WWE Hall of Famer first became a commentator for WWE in 2011 and his role behind the desk has spawned countless memes.   • \’He Has It All\’: WWE Hall of Famer Sees MJF As WWE World Champion

    WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long believes MJF is \”missing a big opportunity\” by not already being in WWE, as he has all the tools to become a World Champion in the TKO Promotion. On the Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Long made his case for MJF to jump to the competiton. .

    \”I like MJF. I hope he does get an opportunity and go to the WWE one day. I think he’s missing a big opportunity by not being in the WWE. If he went there, they’d certainly do a lot of good things with him.\”

    MJF would get over in whatever position WWE put him in, Long added, further demonstrating his high estimation of the AEW star. When asked if he thinks MJF could reach the very top of WWE\’s roster, Long was confident it\’d happen.

    \”Of course I do, yes, yes. I mean, why wouldn’t you? Here’s a guy that can work, he’s good on the microphone—he has it all. So why wouldn’t you make him champ?\”

    Veteran journalist Bill Apter added that MJF’s real-life persona already fits WWE’s mold and noted that MJF \”grew up watching WWE as a Long Island kid\” adding that Long Island is \”WWE territory.\” Apter noted that MJF would \”gel\” in with WWE\’s roster which features high profile names including Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, as well as former AEW rivals Cody Rhodes and CM Punk.

    MJF spent years teasing joining WWE before signing a new contract with AEW, a moment marked with a tattoo on the Devil\’s body. While AEW has done right by MJF, the company\’s longest reigning World Champion, a move to WWE could come if Long gets his way.

    CM Punk Still Works With Children

    On the March 24, edition of WWE Raw, CM Punk didn\’t hold back on Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Taking aim at the pair, he noted that \”The more things change, the more they stay the same. I work with children.\” This was a nod to Punk declaring that he worked with \”f***ing children\” during his infamous All Out 2022 post-show rant.

    Ricky Saints Can\’t Go Back

    On the March 25, edition of WWE NXT, Shawn Spears confronted Ricky Saints, a meeting of two AEW alum. Spears even alluded to Saints \’burning bridges\’ and being unable to go back if things in NXT don\’t work out. Saints\’ final year with AEW saw him go unused and the former FTW Champion was hardly quiet with his frustration at the time.

    Drew McIntyre Gets \’Real Glass\’ in his Eye

    After being attacked by Damian Priest on SmackDown, Drew McIntyre took to X to claim he\’d got \”real glass\” in his eye. This was a clear nod to Jack Perry\’s comment about using real glass at AEW All In: London 2023. This comment, itself referencing CM Punk opposing the use of real glass on Collision, would spark the backstage fight that\’d result in Punk being terminated from AEW.

    Cody Rhodes Gets Booed

    Opening Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes looked to disarm John Cena by bringing up topics that Cena could use to \’cook\’ him. Along the way, Rhodes brought up being booed in a company he created, an obvious nod to the often-frosty reception he received in AEW despite being a babyface.

    Cena\’s Billion-Dollar Jibe

    John Cena didn\’t arrive to Raw to \’cook\’ Cody Rhodes but rather to \’bury\’ the Undisputed WWE Champion. In his fiery retort, Cena declared that \”I make empires for billionaires,\” while Rhodes just \”steals money from their kids.\” This was a reference to both Shad and Tony Khan, the latter being the AEW President.

    AEW, the self-proclaimed \”challenger brand\”, has never shied away from taking shots at WWE, but now it\’s the industry leader that has plenty to say. Stay tuned to SEScoops to see what AEW\’s roster will have to say about all these references made.

  • Kelly Kelly Dreams of WWE Return & HOF Induction: \’I Want My Kids to See Me Wrestle\’

    Kelly Kelly hasn\’t competed in years but that could soon be about to change. On Byron Scott’s Fast Break podcast, the former WWE Divas Champion shared her goals in the wrestling business.

    \”My dream is for my kids to see me wrestle. Hopefully, I get in the Hall of Fame one day.\”

    Kelly still attends WWE events, where she hopes \”maybe they\’ll call me for another Rumble.\” While she\’s not sure what\’s to come, adding \”who knows,\” the former Superstar made clear that \”I would definitely come back for that.\”

    Kelly shared in March 2023 that she and her husband Joe were expecting their first child, and revealed that it\’d be twins the following month. On September 10, the couple welcomed their son Jaxon Matthew and their daughter Brooklyn Marie into the world.

    Kelly\’s time with WWE came to an end in 2012 with her final match coming at an August live event with a win over Natalya. Since then, however, Kelly has made several returns to the ring including in three Women\’s Royal Rumble matches. Her most recent match came in the 2022 Women\’s Rumble, won by Ronda Rousey.

    A return to the ring would see Kelly join an elite cast of wrestling moms, a list that includes Rousey, Mickie James, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, and others. Whether Kelly competes in the ring again or not remains to be seen but don\’t count out the first-ever female 24/7 Champion.

  • \’Totally Dead\’ – Scott Steiner Says Lingering Injury Derailed WWE Run

    Scott Steiner’s 2002 return to WWE should have been a career highlight for Big Poppa Pump after a highly successful run as part of WCW. Instead, it became a chapter marred by health issues that robbed fans—and Steiner himself—of seeing him at full strength. In a reflective interview on Casual Conversations, the former WCW champion revealed the painful truth about that run.

    “I wish I could have been healthy. My foot was totally paralyzed. Even today, it’s still dead.”

    The injury came before his highly anticipated comeback and plagued his performances throughout his feud with Triple H. A series of underwhelming title matches on pay-per-view with the Game put an end to any main-event plans WWE may have had for Steiner.

    “I can’t even watch myself walk to the ring during that time. It’s just messed up.”

    Steiner\’s return to WWE would come at Survivor Series 2002 inside Madison Square Garden, WWE’s most iconic venue. Despite returning inside hallowed ground and receiving a thunderous ovation from the fans in the Big Apple, Steiner views the moment as bittersweet.

    “Being in the Garden was cool… the ovation I got was awesome. But I wasn’t myself.”

    Steiner would undergo surgery later to stabilize the condition, but by this point, the damage had already been done. The injury not only affected his movement in his day-to-day activities but also his ability to perform at the level fans expected from the wrestling legend. Despite this, Scott chooses not to dwell on regret.

    “Everybody’s clawing to be at the top. And I got there—I just wish I could’ve done it healthy.”

    Steiner\’s honest demonstrates how wrestling injuries aren\’t always visible to fans and may not play out in the ring. Despite being known for his notable physique and being a larger-than-life persona, Steiner, just like any wrestler, was vulnerable to struggles outside of the ring.

    “I had thought of the move when I was in Memphis. But I knew enough not to use it on Memphis TV… I waited until I was on national TV.”

    Steiner\’s reasoning for keeping the move a secret? He didn\’t want someone from WWE or the NWA to steal it before he got the spotlight. Now, Steiner\’s nephew Bron Breakker can be found using the move each week on WWE Monday Night Raw.

    “He steals all my Frankenstein suplexes… he still owes me all the residuals for copyright thievery.”

    Steiner\’s days in the ring are over but with Bron continuing to use his moves, Bib Poppa Pump\’s legacy lives on. With Bron riding high as the WWE Intercontinental Champion, fans can expect him to use the Frankensteiner regularly, it’s a fitting tribute—even if Uncle Scott thinks he should get paid for it.

None other than another legend of the ring, Randy Orton.

    The rivalry between John Cena and Randy Orton is one of WWE’s most enduring and intense feuds, spanning nearly two decades. Both men emerged from WWE’s developmental system onto the main roster in 2002, but their paths to the top were vastly different. While Cena would establish himself as a face with a never-give-up attitude, Orton was the the brash, third-generation heel with a natural arrogance.

    MCAS is a condition in which the body breaks out in a manner similar to an allergic reaction, even when there hasn\’t been an instigating force. This can include swelling, skin irritation, and other issues that would make things extremely difficult for a WWE Superstar expected to appear worldwide.

    \”This was my dream job… I was like, no way I could be a wrestler with red skin all the time.\”

    Rodriguez\’ final match before her break came at WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth 2024. Rodriguez went sans make-up for the event in an act that many commended at the time. On the podcast, Rodriguez shared how MCAS played havoc with her self-identity at the time.

    \”I didn\’t want people to see me that way, and I didn\’t want my coworkers to see me that way. I just felt weak, I just felt so helpless and so weak.\”

    Rodriguez recalled having reactions to some make-up brands in her youth but didn\’t think too much of it at the time. After battling MCAS, Rodriguez hopes she can show fans that they don\’t need to risk caking themselves in potential allergens just to fit society\’s beauty standards.

    \”I just hope it really shows younger people that you\’re beautiful the way you are. You don\’t need to change anything.\”

  • Samantha Irvin Appearing In Las Vegas Over WWE WrestleMania Week

    Samantha Irvin is making her return to the world of professional wrestling though not as part of WWE. On her Instagram Stories, Irvin shared that she’ll appear at WaleMania X on April 17, 2025, in Las Vegas. This will mark her first appearance at a wrestling-related event since her exit from WWE in October 2024.

    WaleMania X will blend pro wrestling and hip-hop culture, featuring live performances, special guests, and big-name appearances—including Grammy-nominated rapper Wale. In a major coup for the show, WaleMania X will be presented by Netflix, interestingly a partner with WWE.

    Irvin\’s decision to leave WWE sparked plenty of discussion online, especially after she shared that she had grown to not enjoy her role as an on-screen announcer. Irvin explained that she hoped for the role to be a step towards a manager or General Manager role. When it became clear that would not be happening, Irvin chose to step away.

    Irvin\’s WaleMania role shows that her love for the wrestling business is well and truly alive. Whether Irvin’s future lies in managing, creative work, or something entirely different, WaleMania X marks her official reentry into wrestling—and fans will be watching.

    The March 31, 2025 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw at London\’s O2 Arena was headlined with IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley battling in a Women\’s World Title rematch. With Bianca Belair serving as guest referee, the match was ultimately ruled a double-disqualifcation by the EST, meaning SKY keeps the gold and her spot in the title match at WrestleMania 41.

    In a WWE Raw Digital Exclusive, Ripley was furious about the finish. Ripley, who lost the title mere weeks ago to SKY, was hoping to confront Belair about the finish.

    \”What’s going through my mind right now? I had the match won. I had the match won. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10. Where’s Bianca Belair? She pulling a John Cena? I can’t see her anywhere.\”

    Ripley claimed that Belair couldn\’t be found after Raw because she\’s scared of \’Mami.\’ In Ripley\’s world, the 2025 Women\’s Elimination Chamber can run, but she can\’t hide forever.

    \”She is scared that I am going to absolutely destroy her. That is what happened. And you know what? It’s going to continue to happen. I am gonna continue to ruin Bianca Belair until I get exactly what I want.\”

    As it stands, the Women\’s World Championship match at WrestleMania 41 will see SKY put the gold on the line against Bianca Belair. While Ripley has no official role in the match, and has in fact got on the bad side of Adam Pearce, the Australian remains dedicated to getting another shot at the gold, one way or another.

    Cena\’s comment has sparked a lot of discussion online. On X, Wade Barrett, who served as a commentator during Raw in London, shared his take on Cena\’s rejection of the \’burying\’ claim. Barrett used a meme to signify that he wanted to say something but felt he could not.

    When fans talk about Cena burying talent, Barrett\’s name is one of the first that comes to mind. At WWE SummerSlam 2010, Barrett and the Nexus battled Team Cena, an all-star group including Cena, Chris Jericho, Edge, R-Truth, Bret Hart and the recently-rehired Daniel Bryan.

    Edge and Jericho have gone on the record saying that the plan was for the Nexus to win, putting the group of \’rookies\’ over in a major moment. Shortly before the match though, Cena reportedly changed the finish and had himself go over as the last man standing. Speaking to Inside the Ropes recently, Nexus alum Heath Slater also claimed Cena changed the finish.

    \”[The Nexus was] tainted to the point that it’s not believable. We couldn’t get the steam back after SummerSlam.\”

    The Nexus\’ defeat would hurt the group, and not even forcing Cena to join the faction later that same year could win back momentum. Within a year, the Nexus would be a thing of the past, leaving fans to wonder what could\’ve been had John not \’buried\’ Wade and his allies.

  • MJF Reacts As John Cena & Cody Rhodes Reference AEW on WWE Raw

    The March 31, edition of WWE Raw saw another epic back-and-forth between Cody Rhodes and John Cena, one that saw plenty of references to AEW. Rhodes started off by acknowledging that he got booed in a company he created. However it was Cena who gave the most shocking comment as he alluded to AEW and the company\’s President Tony Khan.

    \”I make empires for billionaires. All you’ve ever done is steal money from their kids.\”

    As expected, these references to AEW did not go unnoticed by fans and sparked a debate and discussion on social media. On X, MJF shared his two cents on the matter, arguing that it\’s foolish for fans to make a big deal about a wrestling company referencing another company.

    MJF has never shied away from making references to WWE as well as Cody Rhodes. For years, MJF teased jumping from AEW to the competition before ultimately opting to re-sign with AEW. For all of MJF\’s talk, it was later reported that there were no conversations between himself and WWE about a potential deal.

    Rhodes and Cena will battle at WrestleMania 41 with the Undisputed WWE Championship and the very soul of WWE on the line. As all eyes turn to Las Vegas and Allegiant Stadium, it remains to be see what else the pair have to say and if there\’ll be any more \’All-Elite\’ references to come.

  • CM Punk In Action After WWE Raw in London

    The March 31st episode of Monday Night Raw in London delivered action-packed moments from start to finish and the action continued after the show. In a rare in-ring outing for the Best in the World, CM Punk stepped into the ring for a dark match against Ludwig Kaiser.

    Punk showcased his signature moves, with the final moments of the match featuring a diving crossbody followed by a devastating GTS. That was enough to score Punk the victory to the delight of the crowd inside the O2 Arena in London, England.

    CM Punk is set to face Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 41. His win over Kaiser adds to his momentum as he prepares for his first WrestleMania main event. As for Kaiser, he vowed during Raw to be a part of the card for WrestleMania 41. If so, it\’d mark Kaiser\’s first time competing at the Showcase of the Immortals.

  • Logan Paul Vs. AJ Styles Set for WWE WrestleMania 41

    AJ Styles and Logan Paul will do battle at WrestleMania 41 following months of back-and-forth issues between the two WWE Superstars. On the March 31, edition of WWE Raw, Styles invited Logan Paul to come out and meet him face to face, Paul mocked the \’sheep\’ in the crowd before proceeding to belittle Styles.

    Styles warned Paul not to write checks that his ass can\’t cash which the Maverick took as a challenge to a match. Paul then claimed that he doesn’t fight for free, and London can’t afford him, furturer angering the crowd inside the O2 Arena. The pair briefly brawled in the ring and outside of it with Paul hitting the Pauldimizer on AJ Styles to close out the segment.

    Though a match wasn\’t confirmed in this segment, it was revealed shortly after. In a backstage segment, Adam Pearce confirmed that the two will battle at WrestleMania 41. This will be Paul\’s fourth time competing at WrestleMania, where he currently has a 2-1 record. Styles joins an impressive collection of Superstars to face Paul including Rey & Dominik Mysterio, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens.

    Paul loves being part of viral moments, but he was on the wrong side of a huge one when Styles got the last laugh alongside comedian Andrew Schulz.

    After weeks of mockery and sneak attacks, the bitterness between Styles and Paul will culminate in a can’t-miss matchup at WrestleMania 41.

  • Vince McMahon, AEW Referenced In Cena/Rhodes Raw Showdown

    John Cena and Cody Rhodes held nothing back during the opening segment of WWE Raw in London, England. As for the past two weeks, Cena opened the show, though Rhodes interrupted before the WWE icon had a chance to speak.

    Rhodes began by giving Cena some material to \’cook\’ him, referencing his lisp with a surprising reference to Stardust. Rhodes made referencing to having an \”arm tattoo on my neck\” and even admitted that \”I got booed in a company I created.\” A smirking Cena said he wasn\’t in London to \’cook\’ Rhodes, but instead to bury the Undisputed WWE Champion.

    \”They\’ve been saying for years that John Cena buries talent. I don\’t bury talent. I am talent! I bury mediocrity.\”

    All Cody has done in WWE \”is ride the coat-tails of my success\” Cena added, but the WWE icon didn\’t stop there. Cena claimed that seeing Rhodes with the Undisputed WWE Championship disgusts him. John shared his issue that Cody is little-more than a \”common fan\” using the gimmicks of wrestlers he enjoyed to make himself seem like someone worthy.

    \”You\’re too perfect. You\’re too polished. You\’re too rehearsed. You get by on lazy gimmicks like them singing your name to get by.\”

    Rhodes admitted that maybe he was chosen as Cena claimed, but said that he was chosen by the fans. In stark contrast, Rhodes believes John Cena was made the \’chosen one\’ by Vince McMahon though avoided mentioning the ex-WWE CEO by name.

    \”Can you say the same John Cena? Or was it one guy in an office who chose you who\’s not here anymore and we don\’t talk about him?\”

    Rhodes wasn\’t the only one with a billionaire in mind. In a shocking line from Cena, the WWE icon made reference to Tony Khan though similarly avoided naming the AEW President.

    \”I make empires for billionaires. All you\’ve ever done is steal money from their kids.\”

    When Rhodes showed that he was ready to throw down, Cena turned away to leave. When John tried to hit a cheap shot on Rhodes, Cody hit Cross Rhodes, giving a clear advantage to the champion ahead of their WrestleMania showdown.

  • Triple H Says WWE PLE Is \’For Sure\’ Coming to the UK

    Fans in the United Kingdom can look forward to a WWE Premium Live Event sooner rather than later, according to Chief Content Officer Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque. Speaking to Alex McCarthy of Mail Sport, Levesque said that a PLE would \”for sure\” come to the UK in the next year or so. Levesque also reiterated Nick Khan\’s comments that India is a priority destination as part of WWE\’s partnership with Netflix.

    WWE has a rich history in the United Kingdom with several major events coming to the UK in recent years. In 2022, WWE hosted its first Clash At The Castle event in Cardiff, Wales, and brought the event to Glasgow, Scotland in 2024. In 2023, WWE hosted its Money in the Bank event from London\’s O2 Arena that saw Damian Priest and IYO SKY win the coveted briefcases.

    While Levesque didn\’t name what specific event will come to the UK, fans remain hopeful that London or another major city will host WrestleMania. Top WWE names including John Cena and Cody Rhodes have publicly advocated for what\’d be WWE\’s first WrestleMania outside North America. Levesque and other WWE officials have met with notable UK names such as London mayor Sadiq Khan, proving that the idea isn\’t just wishful thinking.

    The UK has proven itself time and again as home to rauccous fans who bring it at WWE events. Now, fans will get another PLE of their own in the UK within the next year or so.

  • Triple H Reveals John Cena’s Reaction to Heel Turn Pitch

    John Cena may have shocked fans by turning heel at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto, but the decision to embrace his dark side was not a difficult one. Despite Cena\’s two-decade-plus status as a babyface, Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque told Alex McCarthy of Mail Sport that John immediately embraced the pitched turn.

    \”When it was brought up… in John\’s mind he was like \’wow, I didn\’t think you were going to say that. I love it.\’\” 

    Cena\’s heel turn has been especially surprising given that it\’s come mere months before he will retire from the ring for good. Calling the turn the \”absolute biggest possible thing\” Cena could do, Levesque acknowledged that turning the WWE icon heel came with significant risks.

    \”[It] would have been very easy for him to come in here and say, have us roll through all these dates, I\’ll do my greatest hits –  everyone is going to love it.\”

    Rather than do what fans have seen for two decades, Cena \”made the whole world go \’wait, what just happened\’\” according to Levesque. As WWE\’s Chief Content Officer, Levesque recognizes that taking risks and going against expectations are often pivotal for compelling storytelling.

    \”This is going to be special because John is lit up about it. We\’re lit up about it. It\’s going to be incredible.\”

    Cena plans on capturing his 17th WWE World Championship at WrestleMania, a tall order as he\’ll face off with year-long champion Cody Rhodes. With two of WWE\’s biggest stars poised to do battle, all eyes are on Las Vegas for a showdown that\’ll prove to be one of the biggest in years.

  • Big E Teams Up With id Software For DOOM: The Dark Ages

    Former WWE Champion Big E recently stepped into the ring with Bethesda and id Software to promote the upcomign DOOM: The Dark Ages video game. In a video shared to X, a shield-carrying Big E shared that he had an amazing time playing the game and encouraged fans to pre-order.

    Developed by id Software, DOOM: The Dark Ages is the prequel to the critically acclaimed DOOM (2016) and DOOM: Eternal (2020.) The game will be the third chapter in the epic cinematic story fitting the legend of the DOOM slayer. Players will step into the blood-stained boots of the DOOM slayer in a never-before-seen experience that\’ll see the slayer battle a sinister medieval war against Hell itself.

    Big E\’s excitement is palpable in the video though he is not the first WWE Superstar associated with the DOOM franchise. In 2005, Dwayne Johnson appeared in the DOOM movie in one of his early feature film roles. Unfortunately for the Brahma Bull, the film was a bomb with criticisms being made about the plot, character development, and dialogue. It\’d be 14 years later that DOOM would get a second live-action movie, DOOM: Annihilation (2019), a straight-to-video project for which Johnson did not return.

    While questions remain about Big E\’s in-ring future, the former WWE Champion remains a positive soul in wrestling. Soon enough, he will be able to enjoy DOOM: The Dark Ages alongside countless other gamers worldwide.
