NXT Stand & Deliver 2026: Final Betting Odds for Tonight’s Card

WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2026 is tonight at The Factory at The District in St. Louis, and the books have made their calls. Here’s a breakdown of the final betting odds for every match with a line.

NXT Championship Fatal 4-Way: Joe Hendry (c) vs. Tony D’Angelo vs. Ethan Page vs. Ricky Saints

Joe Hendry (-500) is as close to a lock as NXT gets. He won the vacant title on February 2 in a ladder match and has defended it successfully since, including a Vengeance Day win over Saints with Page trying to interfere from ringside.

Tony D’Angelo (+185) is the only realistic alternative the books are offering. He bulldozed into this feud by attacking all three other participants unprompted, and he’s the most dangerous variable in the match. Saints (+1100) and Page (+1000) are priced as chaos agents rather than genuine contenders. The two former allies can’t both win, and their egos figure to be a problem before the final bell.

NXT North American Championship: Myles Borne (c) vs. Johnny Gargano

Borne at -425 reflects a reign that’s too new to end this fast. He won the title from Ethan Page on February 24 and hasn’t had a marquee defense yet. Gargano (+265) earned this shot in a Gauntlet Eliminator on March 24 for his first NXT PLE appearance since Homecoming last September. He’s not a throwaway name at any price, but the line says Borne walks out with the gold.

NXT Tag Team Championship: The Vanity Project (c) vs. Los Americanos

The Vanity Project are -275 favorites to retain against Los Americanos (+185), who punched their ticket by winning a four-team tournament on the March 31 episode of NXT. The books like the champions to hold here as they build momentum as NXT’s top tag act.

  • MLW Returns to Arena México May 1 for Second Annual CMLL Clash

MLW Returns to Arena México May 1 for Second Annual CMLL Clash

Major League Wrestling will return to Arena México on May 1 for the second annual MLW vs. CMLL interpromotional event, continuing what has become one of the most active international partnership strategies in independent wrestling.

The announcement, made during CMLL’s weekly Informa broadcast and confirmed on MLW.com, sets up a rematch between the two promotions at the venue widely known as the Cathedral of lucha libre. Last year’s inaugural card on May 2, 2025, marked the first time an American wrestling promotion co-produced a show from the historic arena.

What Happened at Last Year’s Event

The first MLW vs. CMLL event delivered real consequences. Ultimo Guerrero defeated Matthew Justice to capture the MLW National Openweight Championship, while Los Depredadores (Magnus and Rugido) took the MLW World Tag Team Championships from CozyMax (Satoshi Kojima and Okumura). Místico headlined with a win over KUSHIDA, and Donovan Dijak and Ikuro Kwon earned MLW’s lone victory of the night in a tag team elimination match. Paul London wrestled Neon to a no-contest.

CMLL then defended those captured MLW titles on its own weekly cards throughout the rest of 2025. Ultimo Guerrero racked up five successful defenses of the Openweight Championship before Blue Panther took it from him in September. The relationship wasn’t just a one-night thing; it became part of CMLL’s regular programming.

A Pattern Two Decades in the Making

MLW’s international strategy didn’t start with CMLL. It traces back to the promotion’s founding in 2002, when Court Bauer launched MLW with the blessing of All Japan Pro Wrestling. The original concept was to build a North American brand operating within the AJPW ecosystem, blending styles from day one. Satoshi Kojima first appeared in MLW during that initial run and would later become one of the promotion’s most important champions after the 2017 relaunch, holding both the World Heavyweight and World Tag Team titles.

When MLW returned as a full-time promotion, the international playbook expanded rapidly. A working agreement with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide brought a wave of lucha talent to MLW Fusion starting in 2018. A collaboration with Mexican promotion The Crash led to an MLW Azteca taping in Tijuana in December 2021. Partnerships with Pro Wrestling NOAH and Dragon Gate brought Japanese fighters into the roster mix, and Yoshihiro Tajiri won the MLW World Middleweight Championship in late 2021, later defending it in AJPW.

The 2023 Alliance That Changed Everything

The current structure took shape on September 27, 2023, when MLW, CMLL, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced a three-way strategic alliance for crossover events and talent exchanges. The deal had been in discussion since early July, and it required MLW to shift away from AAA talent entirely to align with CMLL’s exclusivity expectations.

KUSHIDA’s MLW debut at Fury Road in September 2023 kicked off the NJPW side. That same month, MLW brought in Maki Itoh from Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling. The CMLL pipeline opened in October, with Salina de la Renta positioned as the central on-screen figure linking the promotions. By early 2024, CMLL luchadores were regular fixtures on MLW programming.

The alliance produced co-promoted events on both sides of the border. MLW’s Azteca Lucha at Cicero Stadium in Chicago has become its own annual tradition, featuring CMLL talent prominently. The sold-out 2024 edition brought CMLL general manager Salvador Lutteroth Lomelí as a special guest and showcased matches between the two rosters. A second co-promoted event, Lucha Apocalypto, followed in November 2024, also at Cicero Stadium.

NJPW’s Battle in the Valley 2024 in San Jose featured MLW talent alongside AEW and CMLL fighters, showing all three alliance partners working on a single card.

    Beyond the Americas

MLW’s reach hasn’t been limited to Mexico and Japan. In 2021, the promotion partnered with Revolution Pro Wrestling in the United Kingdom. In 2022, a deal with One Pro Wrestling sent then-World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone across the Atlantic for his first UK match. MLW signed a broadcast agreement with Ayozat TV for UK distribution that same year. A partnership with Oceania Pro Wrestling in Australia expanded the promotion’s footprint even further, with plans for talent exchange and broadcast collaboration. The promotion also forged a relationship with Germany’s Westside Xtreme Wrestling in 2023, which saw wXw wrestlers bring their titles to MLW shows.

    What’s Coming in 2026

The May 1 event in Mexico City sits within a packed international calendar for MLW. Just weeks before, on April 12, MLW and NJPW will co-present CMLL Fantastica Mania USA from Festival Hall in Charleston, South Carolina, MLW’s new headquarters city. That event will feature NJPW’s Taiji Ishimori, El Desperado, DOUKI (the reigning IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion), and Kojima returning alongside MLW’s own roster and CMLL luchadores. Another Azteca Lucha event is also scheduled for Cicero Stadium later in 2026, with CMLL talent expected to appear.

No matches have been announced yet for the May 1 Arena México show. Given last year’s card produced two title changes and a Místico main event, expectations are high. Additional details on matchups and participating fighters are expected in the coming weeks.

For MLW, the strategy is straightforward: use partnerships to give its roster international exposure while bringing in talent that would otherwise never appear on an American independent card. For CMLL, holding MLW championships on their weekly programming adds a cross-promotional layer to a product built on tradition. The relationship runs both directions, and it runs deeper than a handshake deal once a year.

  • Peter Rosenberg Defends Suicide Dive Criticism After Bayley, Chris Hero Backlash

Peter Rosenberg Defends Suicide Dive Criticism After Bayley, Chris Hero Backlash

Peter Rosenberg defended his controversial opinion on suicide dives during this week’s Cheap Heat podcast after facing backlash from wrestlers and fans. The WWE broadcaster doubled down on his stance that the move has become “all risk, no reward” in modern wrestling.

The controversy began when Rosenberg posted on social media following a botched suicide dive by Iyo Sky on Raw. Sky landed face-first during the dive attempt, prompting Rosenberg to question the continued use of the move in 2026.

After receiving pushback, he further explained his stance:

“People seem upset I posted this. It came only from a place of sincere care. Iyo is amazing and one of the best on earth and it still presents a huge risk. I just think the risks outweigh the reward. I say this as a huge fan and someone who is privileged enough to be up close and personal with this business. I am not a wrestler and never put my body on the line. My respect for those who do it is undying. That said — I have opinions for a living. And my opinion is this move is not dope enough to be worth it anymore.”

Wrestlers Push Back on Rosenberg’s Take

Rosenberg’s comments drew criticism from multiple wrestlers, including Bayley and veteran Chris Hero. The backlash extended across social media as fans debated whether the suicide dive has become overused in contemporary wrestling.

On Cheap Heat, Rosenberg delivered a lengthy defense of his position. He explained his reasoning stemmed from watching Sky’s dangerous landing and his broader concerns about wrestler safety.

Rosenberg Fires Back at Chris Hero, Critics

Rosenberg directly addressed Chris Hero’s mockery during the podcast, calling him out for not reaching out privately instead of posting publicly.

“To the Chris Heroes of the world who completely mocked me — Chris, don’t be that way. You have my phone number. If you’re going to put up an entire text mocking me, using my voice, mocking every word, send me a message. Could we have a dialogue? Or do you just want to act like a smartass on Twitter when you were too soft to just text my phone or call me?”

Rosenberg also pushed back on fans who dismissed his opinion because he isn’t a wrestler, pointing to his years of proximity to the business.

“You’re sitting at home tweeting, ‘Fat boy.’ I got off my ass and did something about it. That doesn’t make me a wrestler — it never would, I never will claim that. But it does mean I’ve earned my right to have a voice.”

Debate Over Move’s Place in Modern Wrestling

The suicide dive has become a staple of WWE programming in recent years, with multiple performers incorporating the move into their regular arsenal. Critics like Rosenberg argue the move’s frequency has diminished its impact while increasing injury risk.

Rosenberg framed his argument as fundamentally about performer safety rather than personal taste.

“We do not think that these people should be taking these unnecessary sacrifices to their body for the love of the game, for anything else, not even for my entertainment. I don’t love it that much. And unfortunately the suicide dive has become an unnecessary risk in 2026, because the entertainment value is not there. That second part, fans agree on. So why does that make the first part controversial?”

  • Ted DiBiase Jr. Announced for WrestleCon 2026 in Las Vegas

Ted DiBiase Jr. Announced for WrestleCon 2026 in Las Vegas

Ted DiBiase Jr. is heading to Las Vegas this month for WrestleCon 2026.

The former WWE star was announced as an autograph and photo op guest for the fan convention, which runs all four days of WrestleMania 42 weekend. The announcement came via WrestleCon’s official social media, presented by 123 Talent.

It marks DiBiase’s first public wrestling-related appearance since a federal jury in Jackson, Mississippi acquitted him on all 13 counts of conspiracy, wire fraud, theft, and money laundering on March 20. He faced up to 185 years in prison stemming from his involvement in what became Mississippi’s largest welfare scandal, in which federal indictments accused the former MDHS director of directing welfare dollars to two nonprofits, which then awarded sham contracts to various individuals including DiBiase’s companies.

DiBiase maintained throughout the trial that he earned the money legitimately and never stole a dime. After the verdict, he said outside the courthouse: “I’m going to live again. I’m going to continue to serve people because that really is who I am.”

DiBiase, a WWE roster member during the 2000s and 2010s and the son of Ted “The Million Dollar Man” DiBiase Sr., has not competed in WWE since 2013. A civil suit seeking to recover misspent funds remains ongoing and names DiBiase among dozens of defendants.

WrestleMania 42 takes place April 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

  • Pat McAfee Revealed as Orton’s Mystery Caller on SmackDown

Pat McAfee Revealed as Orton’s Mystery Caller on SmackDown

Pat McAfee made a shocking return to WWE on Friday’s SmackDown from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, revealing himself as the mystery person who has been on the phone with Randy Orton for weeks.

McAfee came out wearing an RKO t-shirt and attacked Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, inserting himself into the WrestleMania 42 main event picture in stunning fashion.

    McAfee Explains His Heel Turn

McAfee wasted no time running down the St. Louis crowd before launching into his reasoning. He referenced an interview from about a month ago where he said the business had “passed him by” and that the product had become unwatchable. That interview took place during an Instagram Q&A on March 8, when McAfee announced he was stepping away from WWE indefinitely.

According to McAfee, it was Orton who called him and told him the business hadn’t passed him by. Instead, Orton told McAfee that WWE had gone in a direction that neither of them liked.

McAfee Takes Aim at Today’s WWE Product

McAfee declared that he represents the Attitude Era fans who grew up loving Steve Austin and The Rock. He said that lately, he has had to watch “5-foot-5 guys doing lucha moves” while someone like Randy Orton is still around.

He called the current WWE roster “scrubs” who are not in Orton’s league, then confirmed that he is the person Orton has been talking to on the phone for weeks. McAfee said Cody Rhodes’ version of WWE is bad, and that Orton is going to “save the business.”

What This Means for WrestleMania 42

The reveal adds a major new layer to the Rhodes vs. Orton Undisputed WWE Championship feud heading into WrestleMania 42. McAfee’s alignment with Orton gives The Viper a vocal mouthpiece at ringside, while also closing the door on speculation that The Rock, Vince McMahon, or Kevin Owens was the mystery caller.

WrestleMania 42 takes place on April 18-19 from Las Vegas, with Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Orton in the Night 1 main event.

SmackDown Match Card for April 3, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:

    Randy Orton’s Mystery Caller Revealed

This is the segment the entire WrestleMania build has been pointing toward. Orton turned heel on Cody Rhodes on the March 14 episode of SmackDown, and since then he’s been taking calls from an unidentified figure who has been guiding his attacks. Earlier this week, Orton posted a video confirming his mystery ally would be in St. Louis tonight. Fan speculation ranges from Bob Orton Jr. to Kevin Owens, with some throwing out bigger names. Whatever the reveal, it happens in Orton’s hometown, which makes it a calculated power play heading into the WrestleMania 42 main event.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes Crashes Orton’s Homecoming

Rhodes is heading into hostile territory tonight. After getting attacked by Orton on multiple occasions and taking a slap from Stephanie McMahon on Monday’s Raw at Madison Square Garden, the champion has been warned that he needs to think more ruthlessly if he wants to survive WrestleMania.

WWE has confirmed Rhodes will be on hand to confront Orton in front of his hometown crowd. The question is whether the American Nightmare shows up with the edge McMahon demanded, or walks into a trap set by Orton and his new ally.

Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu Face-to-Face

Last week, General Manager Nick Aldis made their WrestleMania 42 match official as an Unsanctioned Match. That stipulation removes any safety net and plays directly into the war these two have been waging since September.

Their rivalry escalated after Fatu was found attacked backstage in October, with McIntyre denying involvement, and reached a boiling point when McIntyre cost Fatu an Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Tonight’s face-to-face is unlikely to stay civil.

Rhea Ripley Responds to Jade Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin

For the second straight week, WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill and her allies B-Fab and Michin took out Ripley with a 3-on-1 assault. Ripley is confirmed for tonight’s show, and she’ll need to address the numbers disadvantage heading into her WrestleMania title match against Cargill.

Whether the Eradicator finds backup or goes it alone, she can’t afford another beatdown this close to Las Vegas.

Sami Zayn (c) and the United States Championship Open Challenge

Zayn won the United States Championship from Carmelo Hayes last week in Pittsburgh after Trick Williams’ interference backfired. He’s scheduled to defend the title against Williams at WrestleMania 42, but the open challenge tradition has followed the title from champion to champion over the past year.

Reports suggest Zayn will continue the tradition tonight. With names like Ilja Dragunov, Carmelo Hayes, and others in the mix, any challenger could step up in St. Louis.

    Road to WrestleMania 42

WrestleMania 42 takes place Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Tonight’s SmackDown is the second-to-last regular episode before the WrestleMania go-home show on April 10. Every storyline is accelerating. The Orton mystery caller reveal could reshape the main event picture entirely, the McIntyre/Fatu Unsanctioned Match just got more personal, and Ripley’s path to WrestleMania gets more complicated by the week. Tiffany Stratton and Solo Sikoa are also advertised for tonight.

  • Chris Jericho Returns: Dave Meltzer on Why He Chose AEW Over WWE

Chris Jericho Returns: Dave Meltzer on Why He Chose AEW Over WWE

Dave Meltzer has shared his thoughts on why Chris Jericho chose to return to AEW rather than head back to WWE for a retirement run.

Jericho made a surprise return on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite in his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, opening the show at Canada Life Centre and simply telling the crowd, “Winnipeg… AEW… I’m home.” The 55-year-old had been away from AEW television since April 2025.

Meltzer: WWE Wanted Jericho for a Retirement Tour

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer revealed that WWE had interest in bringing Jericho back for a farewell run, though the specifics of those discussions remain unclear.

“From the WWE standpoint, and I don’t know what they told him. I know I was told that they wanted him for a retirement tour. And maybe that’s not what he wanted, but I don’t know,” Meltzer said.

However, Meltzer noted that several factors likely played into Jericho’s decision to stay with AEW, including financial considerations, creative input, and the potential for a longer career.

“With AEW, perhaps he was gonna get more longevity. There’s a lot of advantages for AEW, and there’s always money. He may have been offered more money in AEW,” Meltzer said.

    Creative Freedom vs. Better Audience

Meltzer acknowledged the tradeoffs Jericho likely weighed, particularly around audience reception compared to creative control.

“I think that at this point, especially at the age he’s at, he’s gonna want to do what’s creatively fulfilling and fun. AEW’s a little bit of a risk in the sense of… He’ll probably have more input into what he’s gonna do in AEW than he would in WWE, but he’d have a better audience in WWE, I think for sure,” Meltzer stated.

Meltzer added that while WWE’s larger audience would have been an advantage, multiple elements factored into the decision: “The better audience, that is certainly part of the deal, but money is part of the deal. Creative freedom is part of the deal. What each side’s plans are is part of the deal.”

    Jericho’s Decision Was His Own

Ultimately, Meltzer emphasized that the choice was entirely in Jericho’s hands.

“I think there’s less risk in WWE in the sense that the crowd is not gonna be as difficult for him in WWE. But this was his decision. His decision was AEW, and I’m sure that he considered every one of these points and many other points when making this decision,” Meltzer concluded.

Jericho’s contract situation had been a topic of speculation for months. His AEW deal was reportedly frozen during his absence, and he recently filed a trademark for “The Cornerstone,” hinting at a new character direction.

With AEW Dynasty set for April 12 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, featuring MJF defending the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega, it remains to be seen how Jericho fits into AEW’s plans going forward.

  • Lady Frost Departs AEW, Thanks Tony Khan

Lady Frost Departs AEW, Thanks Tony Khan

Lady Frost officially became a free agent on April 1 as her All Elite Wrestling contract expired at midnight. The announcement came directly from Frost via social media, where she expressed gratitude for her time in AEW and credited Tony Khan for his leadership.

“I want to thank Tony Khan for being an incredibly kind and passionate boss,” Frost said. “I had some of the most incredible moments with AEW and I am so grateful for the years that I spent there.”

    Years in AEW and ROH

Frost’s tenure with AEW began in November 2020 when she debuted on AEW Dark. She was formally signed to a contract in 2023 and competed across Dynamite, Collision, and Dark. She also appeared regularly for AEW’s sister promotion Ring of Honor.

During her run, Frost challenged for the TBS Championship twice in 2023, facing Kris Statlander in June and Julia Hart in November. Her last AEW appearance came on the January 10 episode of Collision against Mina Shirakawa.

    Multiple Promotions Show Interest

According to Fightful Select, multiple promotions have already expressed interest in signing Frost. Her track record spans AEW, ROH, TNA Wrestling, CMLL, NWA, and WWE, making her a well-traveled talent across wrestling.

Frost’s next move could come together quickly as the free agent market opens new options. Her experience and international profile position her as a sought-after acquisition for several major promotions.

AEW Dynamite Match Card for April 1, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:

MJF vs. Kenny Omega: AEW Dynasty Contract Signing

Kenny Omega earned his shot at the AEW World Championship by defeating Swerve Strickland on March 25, immediately challenging MJF for the title at Dynasty. MJF accepted the challenge but spurned Omega’s handshake. When Omega’s music hit last week, MJF fled the ring with fear visible on his face. The psychological edge swung decidedly in Omega’s favor in a single moment. Tonight, the two will sit down for the contract signing in Omega’s Canadian hometown. Whether signatures hit the page cleanly or both men leave the table standing is the real question.

    Will Ospreay vs. PAC

Ospreay and PAC are rematch for the first time in an AEW singles contest since their classic at All Out 2024, where Ospreay retained the International Championship. Before Ospreay takes his revenge on Jon Moxley—the man who broke his neck and sidelined him for months—he must go through PAC, a technical wizard whose history with the Death Riders runs deep. Two of the planet’s most gifted high-flyers colliding with Moxley watching from the shadows. Anything can break loose when these two hit the canvas.

“Jungle” Jack Perry, Brody King & Kenny Omega vs. The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona) – Trios Match

Omega proposed this trios match himself, teaming with AEW National Champion Jungle Jack Perry and powerhouse Brody King against The Demand in what looks to be a hard-hitting six-man war. Omega wrestling twice in one night underscores just how critical this run to Dynasty is. Ricochet and The Demand have their own reasons to get after this trio, with the National Championship looming as a possible flashpoint.

Mina Shirakawa & The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter, Alex Windsor) vs. Triangle of Madness (Toxic Thekla, Skyy Blue, Julia Hart) – Six-Woman Trios Match

Mina Shirakawa teams with The Brawling Birds after they ran roughshod on AEW Collision, taking on the Triangle of Madness in a six-woman trios contest that will heat up the women’s title picture heading into Dynasty. Thekla and the Sisters of Sin have been gloating about Toni Storm’s long-term hiatus, but Shirakawa wants answers and retribution. She’s recruiting reinforcements to even the odds and make a statement in front of the Winnipeg crowd.

    Road to AEW Dynasty 2026

AEW Dynasty takes place Sunday, April 12 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. The card is shaping up to be stacked, with Omega challenging MJF for the world title as the probable main event, Ospreay facing Moxley for revenge, and FTR defending their world tag titles against Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in a high-emotion rematch. Tonight from Winnipeg, the dominoes fall into place.

  • LA Knight Responds to IShowSpeed Brass Knuckles Incident on RAW

LA Knight Responds to IShowSpeed Brass Knuckles Incident on RAW

LA Knight has responded after IShowSpeed accidentally struck him with brass knuckles during the March 30 episode of WWE RAW at Madison Square Garden. The incident occurred during a street fight for the WWE World Tag Team Championships and helped Logan Paul and Austin Theory capture the titles.

The match saw The Usos defend against Logan Paul and Austin Theory in a chaotic street fight that spilled into the crowd. Brass knuckles became a focal point when they were introduced at ringside.

LA Knight left the commentary desk to intervene as Logan Paul attempted to gain possession of the weapon. IShowSpeed, seated at ringside, got involved in the scramble and took hold of the brass knuckles.

    IShowSpeed Accidentally Strikes LA Knight

IShowSpeed swung the brass knuckles but accidentally hit LA Knight instead of his intended target. The mishap left Knight down at ringside while the weapon remained in play.

Logan Paul quickly capitalized on the situation, using the brass knuckles before Austin Theory pinned Jimmy Uso. The Vision secured the win and captured the WWE World Tag Team Championships heading into WrestleMania 42.

Knight Promises Payback on Social Media

Nearly 20 hours after the incident, Knight broke his silence on social media. Responding to a WWE post, he wrote a clear warning to IShowSpeed.

“Mistake or not, it’s coming…” Knight posted, alongside an image of himself holding a chair.

WWE has not officially addressed IShowSpeed’s involvement. The situation appears far from resolved as tensions build on the Road to WrestleMania.

  • Vince Russo Pitches Tony Khan on Creative Collab After Praise

Vince Russo Pitches Tony Khan on Creative Collab After Praise

Vince Russo is making his move. After Tony Khan publicly praised Russo’s creative work on JCW Lunacy, the former WWE head writer took to X to turn that goodwill into a full-blown pitch for a creative partnership.

The exchange started when Jonathan Coachman, Russo’s co-host on the Coach & Bro podcast, extended an open invitation for Khan to appear on the show. Khan accepted, and in doing so offered unsolicited praise for Russo’s current booking in JCW, calling it “tremendous” and saying he enjoys it “very much.”

That was all Russo needed. In a post on X on March 30, he addressed Khan directly, asking for a follow back and suggesting the two talk creative, with a lofty goal in mind: “Let’s do something that will blow the WWE INTO OBLIVION!!!”

Russo closed by noting that while Khan has heard about him over the years, the two have never actually had the chance to get to know each other personally: “LET’s GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT!!!”

Whether Tony Khan takes him up on the offer remains to be seen, but it’s a notable moment given Russo’s historically critical stance toward modern wrestling booking, including AEW’s product.

  • Dani Luna Granted Release From TNA, Now Free Agent

Dani Luna Granted Release From TNA, Now Free Agent

Dani Luna has been granted her release from TNA Wrestling and is now a free agent. According to Fightful Select, Luna requested her release over the weekend, and the company approved it without any issues.

Sources indicated there were no hard feelings between Luna and TNA when the release was finalized. The split was described as amicable, with both parties parting ways on good terms.

    Final TNA Appearance

Luna’s last appearance for the promotion came at TNA Sacrifice on March 27. She competed in a match against Lei Ying Lee and TNA Knockouts Champion Arianna Grace, which now stands as her final outing with the company.

The match marked the end of Luna’s run with TNA after requesting her departure shortly thereafter.

    What’s Next for Luna

As a free agent, Luna now has the freedom to explore opportunities across other wrestling promotions or return to the independent scene. Her availability opens the door for potential bookings with various companies looking to add talent to their rosters.

Luna’s departure adds to the recent roster changes within TNA’s Knockouts division. With her release now official, the wrestling community will be watching to see where she lands next.

  • Bron Breakker Cleared to Return, WWE Pumping Brakes on Money Match

Bron Breakker Cleared to Return, WWE Pumping Brakes on Money Match

The path to Seth Rollins vs. Gunther at WrestleMania 42 has been weeks in the making, and Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has the full picture.

According to Meltzer, the Rollins/Paul Heyman storyline over recent weeks was always designed to set up Gunther choking Rollins out at Madison Square Garden. The match has been the plan for several weeks.

Gunther landing the spot was a product of circumstance. The original plan had Logan Paul working with Rollins, but The Bloodline and the Usos were slated for a celebrity match involving IShowSpeed and Paul, which removed Paul from that equation. When Bronson Reed suffered an injury on top of that, WWE needed a new opponent for Rollins and turned to Gunther.

As for Breakker, Meltzer clarifies that his absence from the WrestleMania card has nothing to do with his recovery from hernia surgery. Breakker is cleared. WWE simply chose not to rush the match, wanting a proper television build before pulling the trigger on Rollins vs. Breakker.

WrestleMania 42 is just weeks away, and this year’s card has been significantly shaped by injuries throughout the roster. The Rollins situation alone went through multiple pivots before landing on Gunther as the opponent.

Hulk Hogan vs. André the Giant WrestleMania 3 Match Enters WWE Hall of Fame

Hulk Hogan versus André the Giant at WrestleMania 3 will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame with the 2026 Immortal Moment Award. The announcement marks the second consecutive year WWE has honored a match with Hall of Fame recognition.

The iconic showdown where Hogan defeated André to retain the WWF World Heavyweight Championship will be celebrated at the April 17th ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada. Last year’s inaugural Immortal Moment Award went to Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart’s submission match from WrestleMania 13.

WWE announced the honor via social media, calling it “the slam heard around the world.”

    Honoring Hogan’s Legacy

Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, passed away in July 2025 at age 71. The WWE legend held 12 world championship reigns during his career, including one of the longest title runs in history at 1,474 days.

The posthumous honor recognizes one of the most significant matches in wrestling history. The WrestleMania 3 bout remains a defining moment in WWE’s golden era.

    2026 Hall of Fame Class

The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026 induction ceremony will honor Stephanie McMahon, A.J. Styles, Demolition (Ax and Smash), Dennis Rodman, Sid Eudy, and Bad News Brown. The event takes place on April 17th in Las Vegas.

  • Becky Lynch Says She’s Holding Down Young WWE Talent, on Purpose

Becky Lynch Says She’s Holding Down Young WWE Talent, on Purpose

Becky Lynch has heard the criticism that she’s standing in the way of younger WWE talent, and she’s not backing down from it. In a March 28 appearance on Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg, the former Women’s Intercontinental Champion addressed the “blocking” narrative head-on, leaning fully into her character while making a pointed philosophical argument.

“I absolutely am holding them down,” Lynch said. “This is what it’s like to be held down by the man. Let’s see if you can rise against it. If you can rise against it, good on you. Then you deserve to be on top. But you won’t, because I’m still the greatest of all time. I will hold them down and I will keep them down because they don’t deserve to be in my spot. This is a competitive business. I have a child to feed.”

Lynch went further, pushing back on what she called an obvious double standard in how the WWE fanbase treats full-time veterans versus part-time legends. The target of her frustration? Roman Reigns.

“Roman comes out, he’s never around, he comes out and everybody goes, ‘Oh, yay,’” Lynch said. “Not me. I’m around all the time. All the time. Making the towns, getting in the ring with everybody, helping them, sacrificing yourself, showing them what it’s like to be great, so they can see and go, ‘Oh, that’s how great I want to be.’ And they want me to not be great.”

Her position, stripped of the character work, is that being a competitive opponent is itself a form of mentorship. Not stepping aside, but making younger wrestlers prove they belong. Lynch frames the challenge not as gatekeeping but as the standard they have to clear.

Lynch lost the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to AJ Lee at Elimination Chamber on March 1 and is now challenging Lee for the title at WrestleMania 42, April 18-19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Her comments come at a moment when she’s the challenger, not the champion, which makes the defiance land a little differently than it might otherwise.

Whether the philosophy holds is another question. But Lynch has never been interested in graceful step-asides, and she’s not starting now.

  • John Cena Named Official Host of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas

John Cena Named Official Host of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas

John Cena has announced he will serve as the official host of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, three weeks out from the biggest event on WWE’s calendar.

Cena made the announcement on X, confirming a prominent role at the show following his retirement from in-ring competition at the end of 2025. The post was filmed on location during production of his Netflix movie “One Attempt,” blending his post-retirement acting career with his wrestling legacy.

Cena recently spoke about his future with the company after hanging up his boots. He hinted at taking on a new role with WWE beyond his ambassador deal, and a WrestleMania hosting gig is exactly the kind of high-visibility assignment that fits that trajectory.

WrestleMania 42 takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 18 and 19.

  • Goldberg Calls Out Triple H Over Disrespectful WWE Sendoff

Goldberg Calls Out Triple H Over Disrespectful WWE Sendoff

Goldberg has fired back at WWE and Triple H over how his retirement sendoff was handled, expressing his frustration during a recent fan meet-and-greet.

During a recent meet-and-greet (via Pop the Chain) over the weekend, a fan confronted Goldberg about the moment his microphone was cut off while giving his farewell speech after his retirement match. The interaction quickly escalated as both the fan and Goldberg expressed their displeasure with WWE’s handling of the moment.

“You know what pissed me off? When WWE cut off your mic at your final match,” the fan said, clearly still frustrated with how Goldberg’s sendoff was handled.

    Goldberg’s Sarcastic Response

Goldberg didn’t hold back with his response, delivering a sarcastic reaction that made it clear he remains upset about the situation.

“Yeah! What do you think it did for me? It made me really happy. It shows what disrespect they have for me,” Goldberg said.

The conversation then turned toward who might have been responsible for the decision to cut his microphone. When the fan asked if Triple H was behind it, Goldberg’s response was telling.

    Triple H Called Out

“What jackass was it? Was it Triple H who did that?” the fan asked.

Goldberg’s answer didn’t defend anyone as he simply said, “Probably.”

When the fan doubled down with another shot at Triple H, calling him “a jackass,” Goldberg backed up the sentiment without hesitation, responding “100%.”

The ongoing tension between Goldberg and WWE management is real. Whether or not he makes another pro wrestling appearance remains to be seen, but he’s not the good will ambassador that WWE seeks from its retired legends.

WWE Raw Match Card for March 30, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:

Street Fight for the World Tag Team Championship: The Usos (c) vs. The Vision

After Logan Paul and Austin Theory got the upper hand in a disqualification on last week’s Raw, The Usos earned a Street Fight rematch for their World Tag Team titles. The incident started when Jey Uso used Paul’s own brass knuckles against Theory, forcing the referee to call for the bell. Paul Heyman immediately demanded the rematch, and Adam Pearce delivered, setting up a Street Fight at the “World’s Most Famous Arena.” This will be the main event of the evening, with the added stipulation allowing the action to spill outside the ring.

Women’s Tag Team Championship: The Irresistible Forces (c) vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria

After picking up an impressive victory over The Kabuki Warriors last week, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria called out the reigning Women’s Tag Team Champions. This match marks Bayley’s opportunity to capture championship gold at MSG, having been sidelined from WrestleMania 41 due to an injury. The women’s tag division has been a focal point heading into WrestleMania 42, with reports suggesting a multi-team championship match at the Grandest Stage. A dominant performance here could secure Bayley and Lyra’s spot in that WrestleMania bout.

Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge: Penta (c) vs. Kofi Kingston

Penta issued an open challenge for his Intercontinental Championship, and Kofi Kingston answered on social media. Kingston brings championship pedigree and a veteran presence to MSG, while Penta looks to continue building one of the stronger title reigns on the roster. This is Penta’s fourth Intercontinental title defense since winning the belt.

    IYO SKY vs. Raquel Rodriguez

IYO SKY and Raquel Rodriguez will settle their differences in singles competition. The tension between them escalated when IYO assisted Stephanie Vaquer in a match against Rodriguez two weeks ago, drawing Rodriguez’s ire. Last week’s backstage confrontation officially made the match, and both competitors are looking to gain momentum heading into WrestleMania. Rodriguez seeks validation, while IYO continues to forge her own path.

Finn Balor Addresses The Judgment Day

Finn Balor will address his return and his ouster from The Judgment Day. Last week, Balor returned to action and cost Dominik Mysterio the Intercontinental Championship, allowing Penta to retain via pin. Expect an explosive promo and potential physical confrontation, as both Balor and Mysterio are expected to factor into the WrestleMania 42 card.

    Brock Lesnar Appears at MSG

Brock Lesnar is confirmed for tonight’s Raw. For two consecutive weeks, Oba Femi has gotten the better of The Beast, including last week in Boston where Femi dumped Lesnar over the top rope. With WrestleMania 42 less than three weeks away, MSG provides the perfect stage for Lesnar to answer back before Las Vegas.

Roman Reigns and CM Punk Confrontation

Both Roman Reigns and CM Punk are confirmed for tonight’s show. Last week’s segment ended with Reigns spearing Punk and then powerbombing him through the announce table at TD Garden. Tonight, expect the mind games to continue at MSG, one of wrestling’s most prestigious venues, with The Usos and Paul Heyman likely adding further complexity to this deeply personal rivalry.

AJ Lee and Becky Lynch Continue Their Road to WrestleMania

AJ Lee and Becky Lynch will appear to further their Women’s Intercontinental Championship feud ahead of WrestleMania 42. Last week on Raw, Lynch called out Lee, who fired back and formally accepted Lynch’s challenge for the title at WrestleMania. Lee won the championship from Lynch at Elimination Chamber in February, making this their long-awaited rematch on the biggest stage of the year.

    Road to WWE WrestleMania 42

WrestleMania 42 takes place April 18-19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, just three weeks away. Tonight’s Raw sets the final pieces in place for the Grandest Stage of Them All, with WrestleMania 42 announcements expected and multiple storylines hitting crucial turning points. Championship implications, personal vendettas, and returning legends converge at MSG to shape the landscape heading into Las Vegas.

Follow SEScoops for live coverage and results from tonight’s WWE Raw. We’ll have match-by-match updates as they happen.

  • Jinder Mahal Launches Financial Education Series For Wrestlers

Jinder Mahal Launches Financial Education Series For Wrestlers

Former WWE Champion Raj Dhesi, known to fans as Jinder Mahal, has announced the launch of a new financial education series specifically designed for professional wrestlers.

Dhesi kicked off the series with a post and video on Instagram breaking down retirement account options available to professional wrestlers who are classified as independent contractors. The initiative addresses a critical gap in financial planning resources for wrestlers in the industry.

    https://www.instagram.com/p/DWel2N5DXZ8

According to Dhesi, wrestlers are responsible for setting up and funding their own retirement accounts, a reality that many performers may not fully understand when starting their careers. The financial education series aims to provide practical guidance on navigating these responsibilities.

The former WWE Champion’s decision to focus on financial literacy comes at a time when discussions about wrestler classification and benefits continue to be relevant topics in the industry.

As independent contractors, wrestlers must handle their own retirement planning, taxes, and other financial obligations typically managed by employers in traditional employment relationships.

Dhesi held the WWE Championship for 170 days in 2017, becoming the first wrestler of Indian heritage to win the title. His post-wrestling ventures have included various business interests, positioning him well to share financial insights with fellow performers.

The Instagram series represents an effort to address practical concerns facing wrestlers throughout their careers, particularly regarding long-term financial security and retirement planning. Details about additional topics the series will cover have not yet been announced.

Lexis King Reveals Concussion After NXT Injury Scare

Lexis King confirmed he suffered a concussion following a scary incident at the March 20 NXT house show in Lakeland, Florida. The Birthright member was injured during an eight-man tag team match when he took a knee to the head, prompting officials to stop the bout.

King posted a video update on his Instagram thanking fans for their support and clarifying the severity of the injury. Initial reports suggested he avoided major damage, but King revealed the situation was more serious than first believed.

“Hey, guys, I just wanted to give a little update. First off, thank you to everybody who reached out and checked on me. And for those that don’t know, on March 20, I did suffer a really bad concussion. But we’re a little over a week out now and I’ve been cleared. I passed all the tests and feeling better than ever,” King said.

    King Criticizes Indie Wrestlers

The NXT superstar used the opportunity to stress the dangers of professional wrestling and call out less experienced performers. He suggested some wrestlers entering through the WWE ID program lack the skills to work safely.

“It is a reminder, though, that this is a very dangerous business. And above all else, our health and safety comes first,” King stated. “It’s also a reminder, too, that some people don’t belong in the ring. And yes, I’m talking about these indie gibronis. They sneak their way into NXT through the WWE ID program, and the first thing they want to do is get all their in on me.”

The match was ruled a no contest after the referee threw up the X signal. Elio LeFleur, who was also involved in the bout, suffered an arm injury and has been seen wearing a sling.

    Madison Square Garden Appearance Teased

Despite the injury scare, King indicated he plans to appear at an upcoming NXT event at Madison Square Garden. He referenced The Birthright making their first appearance at the historic venue.

“We got a little something coming up next week. Madison Square Garden… the most historic faction in the history professional wrestling is walking into MSG for the first time,” King said.

King was announced as not medically cleared to compete on the March 24 episode of NXT. The injury comes at a crucial time for The Birthright as the group navigates the NXT tag team division.

  • AJ Styles Details His Role Scouting Talent for WWE

AJ Styles Details His Role Scouting Talent for WWE

AJ Styles has provided more insight into his new role as a WWE scout following his retirement from in-ring competition. The 2026 WWE Hall of Fame inductee discussed his responsibilities on the first episode of his Phenomenally Retro podcast.

Styles explained that he is actively searching for talent on the independent scene and scouring the internet for standout performers. He emphasized that he is looking for wrestlers with a specific quality that sets them apart.

“I’ve been going to indie shows and checking those out, just seeing what everyone has to offer, and stuff like that. I’m scouring the internet for something that sticks out. If people see talent. ‘They are different. There is something about them.’ I like that kind of stuff,” Styles said on the podcast.

What AJ Styles Looks for in Talent

The former WWE Grand Slam Champion revealed that he is open to receiving submissions from wrestlers or fans who believe they have found someone special. He wants to discover talent before other promotions can sign them.

“If you want to send me that stuff, fine, go ahead, I’d love to see. I’m trying to check out and see how much talent is out there. I know what it’s like to be on the indies and having a job. Traveling on the indies, sometimes it’s hard to get things that you need,” Styles explained.

He emphasized that he is looking for wrestlers with the same drive and passion he had during his independent wrestling days. Styles wants to see performers who have no backup plan and are fully committed to making it in professional wrestling.

“If they are as desperate as I was to make it in the wrestling business, I’d love to see them before anybody else snags them up. Hopefully, I’m able to see talent before it’s developed. There is something about them, the drive, and meeting them. I want to see myself in them. Not the same abilities or size, the same heart and passion that is going to go into this because we have no Plan B,” he stated.

Hall of Fame Induction Next Month

Styles will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next month in Las Vegas alongside Stephanie McMahon and Demolition. His retirement came during the February 23 episode of Raw in Atlanta, where he left his jacket and gloves in the ring before The Undertaker surprised him with the Hall of Fame announcement.

Styles’ new role includes working with talent on the independent scene, NXT, and the main roster. He is also training his second oldest son to become a professional wrestler.

  • Jim Ross: Politics Delayed Sid’s WWE HOF Induction

Jim Ross: Politics Delayed Sid’s WWE HOF Induction

Jim Ross believes backstage politics kept Sid Vicious out of the WWE Hall of Fame for years, despite a resume that included multiple world championships and WrestleMania main events.

The legendary commentator addressed the long delay during a recent episode of his Grilling JR podcast. Ross was asked why a performer with Sid’s credentials had been overlooked for so long. He admitted there’s no simple explanation but pointed to internal politics as a significant factor.

“That’s a question you can ask over and over and still not get a good answer. Politics is part of it. I think politics plays a big role in how Hall of Fame selections are made,” Ross said. “In the end, it just finally became his time.”

Sid’s Hall of Fame Recognition Comes Posthumously

Ross expressed regret that Sid cannot experience the honor in person. Sid Eudy passed away in August 2024 at age 63 following a battle with cancer, months before WWE announced his induction into the 2026 Hall of Fame class.

“It’s a damn shame he’s not here to experience it, because he would have loved it,” Ross continued. “Sid grew and matured a lot over the years. He absolutely belongs in the Hall of Fame — no doubt about it.”

Sid was a two-time WWE Champion and two-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion during his career. He headlined WrestleMania VIII against Hulk Hogan and WrestleMania 13 opposite The Undertaker, cementing his status as one of the top stars of the 1990s.

Sid’s son Frank confirmed last week that WWE contacted the family about the 2026 Hall of Fame induction.

  • Brody King’s Advocacy: ‘There’s A Lot Of Wrong Happening’

Brody King’s Advocacy: ‘There’s A Lot Of Wrong Happening’

Brody King has opened up about his decision to wear an ‘Abolish ICE’ t-shirt at AEW Grand Slam Mexico and his ongoing advocacy for marginalized communities. The former AEW Tag Team and Trios Champion wore the shirt during a multi-man tag team match at Arena México on June 18, 2025.

In an interview with Denise Salcedo, King explained his motivation for using his platform to speak out on social issues.

“I feel like when I was younger I always wanted somebody that felt like me on TV or wherever to express the way that they felt so I can have someone to champion for me,” King said. “And if I can be that for other people that are being marginalized then I want to be that for them.”

    Speaking Out Against Injustice

King emphasized that his stance isn’t about politics, but about right and wrong. He also cited Mick Foley as another wrestler who uses his platform similarly.

“Everyone tries to bring up the political thing, in my opinion, it’s just what’s right and what’s wrong,” he continued. “And there’s a lot of wrong happening in the world and if I can speak out against it then I will. And you know we got guys like Mick Foley who also do the same thing.”

Following the Grand Slam Mexico event, King released ‘Abolish ICE’ shirts for sale, raising over $27,000 for families affected by ICE raids. In a post-show media scrum, King explained that speaking out on injustices aligns with his punk rock background and that he appreciates AEW allowing wrestlers to have their voice.

    Reflecting On Fan Response

King reflected on the attention his shirt received and how fan reactions have evolved over time.

“I wore the Abolish ICE shirt at Arena Mexico almost a year ago, I think it was June of last year, and the chants happened this year right before Australia,” King recalled. “It got a lot of attention for the shirt and then out of nowhere kind of picked up more attention.”

He continued, “Obviously the state of things gets more boiled over, people are frustrated and that’s going to come out in certain ways, and I can’t think of a more positive way for it to come out than them chanting it at a wrestling show.”

King also addressed viral chants during his match against MJF, noting the moment took him off guard but energized him.

“It took me off guard,” he admitted. “But I also felt like I could run through a wall at that moment.”

Mike Santana Speaks Out After Steve Maclin Injury at TNA Sacrifice

Mike Santana has broken his silence after Steve Maclin was legitimately injured during their TNA World Championship match at TNA Sacrifice on Friday, March 27, in New Orleans. The match was stopped just minutes in after Maclin took a stiff superkick from the champion.

The bout came to an immediate halt when Maclin stumbled and appeared dazed following the kick. Referee Alice Lane quickly recognized the severity of the situation and stopped the match, which was ruled a no-contest. Santana retained the TNA World Championship.

Maclin was evaluated for a concussion and sent to the hospital as a precaution. He cleared all tests with no concussion diagnosis and was released the same night, according to Sports Illustrated.

    Santana Issues Full Statement

On Sunday morning, Santana posted a lengthy statement on his X account addressing the incident. The champion revealed his pre-match ritual and reflected on the unpredictable nature of professional wrestling.

“Every time I’m getting ready to head out for a match, I always find a corner and take a moment to myself,” Santana wrote. “I kneel and pray to God to protect me and my opponent. To watch over us as we head out to give the fans an escape and something worth what they pay their hard earned money for.”

“But as we all know, freak accidents happen that are sometimes out of our control and in the moment,” he continued. “That’s the unfortunate reality of what we do. All we can do is learn from it and take preventative measures moving forward, so that we can avoid making the same mistakes.”

    Champion Praises Referee Alice Lane

Santana specifically highlighted the professionalism of referee Alice Lane, who was credited with quickly recognizing the injury and signaling for medical help.

“I will say, I’m truly proud of how TNA handled the situation,” Santana stated. “And even more proud of referee Alice Lane. Her elite professionalism and quick thinking saved us. We were truly blessed to have had her out there with us.”

The champion also expressed relief about Maclin’s condition. “I’m glad that Steve is safe and doing well,” he wrote. “He’s one of the toughest guys I know and someone I’ve considered a close friend for a long time. At the end of the day, our health and well-being come first and we showed exactly that.”

Following the match stoppage, Eddie Edwards attacked Santana. Edwards holds a guaranteed TNA World Championship opportunity.

  • Jade Cargill Fires Back at Critics on Social Media

Jade Cargill Fires Back at Critics on Social Media

Jade Cargill addressed her critics on social media with a series of posts on March 29, 2026. The WWE Women’s Champion made it clear she’s unfazed by the constant commentary surrounding her career.

Cargill posted on her Twitter account, stating: “I’m called something everyday on this app. Lmaoooo. I love it. Keep it coming” The post came after weeks of online discussion about her in-ring work, in the text of her current positioning in a top WrestleMania program.

    Cargill Emphasizes Her Success

Rather than addressing specific criticisms, Cargill focused on her accomplishments. “I have EVERYTHING I want in this life. God didn’t play about me. ?” she wrote in a follow-up post.

The WWE Women’s Champion won the title from Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night’s Main Event in November 2025. She’s scheduled to defend the championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42.

    Message to Other Women

Cargill expanded her message beyond responding to critics. She encouraged other women to own their achievements: “Ladies it’s okay to pop your shit. Be proud of what you’ve done and who you are. ?.”

In her final post of the series, she added: “You can be humble and aware of WHO YOU ARE.” The statement appeared to address the balance between confidence and humility.
