The Rock Misses TKO Meetings, Still Earns $900K

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had missed multiple TKO meetings last year, but that didn’t stop him from earning big. He was the only TKO Board member to miss more than 25 percent of meetings in 2025, as per the company’s annual proxy report filed with the SEC.

The report showed that during TKO’s 2025 fiscal year, the board met five times.

The report suggests that each incumbent director attended at least 75 percent of the meetings except for Johnson. The filing did not specify exactly how many meetings The Rock missed or provide reasons for his absences.

The Rock’s Royalty Earnings From TKO

The same SEC filing revealed that Johnson earned a staggering $900,000 in royalties from TKO during the 2025 fiscal year. These royalties are separate from any compensation he receives for wrestling appearances or board duties.

He also earned $600,000 in reimbursements for travel expenses associated with delivering services under what the filing refers to as the Johnson Services Agreement. It was to cover his appearances at the January 6 Raw on Netflix premiere, the following night on NXT, and the Elimination Chamber.

Johnson joined the TKO Board of Directors following the merger of WWE and UFC under the TKO Group Holdings umbrella. He has balanced his board responsibilities with his Hollywood career and occasional WWE appearances.

Sol Ruca Injury Update After Scary Table Bump At NXT Revenge

Sol Ruca was recently involved in a horrific table spot during Tuesday’s NXT Revenge. An update has emerged on her injury.

She has revealed that eight staples were required in the back of her head following the fall. The injury occurred during her Last Woman Standing match against Zaria.

The match concluded with Zaria pushing Ruca off a platform, sending her crashing through one of two tables set up below. Ruca’s body missed the far table, causing her to strike the back of her head on it as she went through the near table.

Ruca shared the aftermath on her Instagram, posting a photo showing the eight staples she received. It remains unknown if she will miss any ring time due to the injury.

    Recent Move to Raw

The injury comes just days after Ruca was moved from NXT to Raw. She made her main roster debut on Monday, confronting WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in the ring.

The confrontation led to an impromptu match between the two, which Morgan won after interference from Zaria.

  • Brock Lesnar Retirement Already In Doubt After WrestleMania 42

Brock Lesnar’s retirement from WWE may not be as final as it appeared at WrestleMania 42. A new report from Wrestlevotes Radio suggests ‘The Beast Incarnate’ could return for one more match at SummerSlam 2026 in Minneapolis.

Lesnar left his gloves and boots in the ring after losing to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42 Night 2, leading fans to believe he had retired. The symbolic gesture appeared to mark the end of his legendary career.

    SummerSlam Return Speculation

As per to Wrestlevotes Radio via Fightful Select, there’s a strong belief within WWE that Lesnar genuinely retired at WrestleMania 42. However, some sources believe he could return for SummerSlam 2026 because of his Minnesota roots.

At least one WWE contact expressed hope that ‘The Beast’ would appear on the SummerSlam card, though nothing has been confirmed. Minneapolis holds special significance for the former WWE Champion, who was born and raised in the state.

    Earlier Retirement Plans

Previous reports had indicated Lesnar’s retirement could take place at SummerSlam 2026 rather than WrestleMania. Fans speculated Gunther might be the one to end his career, with WWE planting seeds when the Ring General told Paul Heyman he owed him more than a “thank you” for facing Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 42.

  • WWE Planning Major Date Change For WrestleMania 43

WWE Planning Major Date Change For WrestleMania 43

A major shake-up may be coming with WrestleMania 43.

Reports via WrestleVotes suggest that WWE is targeting the weekend of March 27, 2027 for WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The date would coincide with the end of the annual Riyadh Season festival.

WWE is yet to officially confirm the date for the show. WrestleVotes reports that the weekend of April 10 is also on the table as an alternative.

    Return to Traditional Scheduling

The March 27 date would mark a return to WWE’s traditional WrestleMania scheduling. Most WrestleManias have historically been held in either late March or early April.

Starting in 2025, WWE pushed the event back to mid/late April to avoid competing with Final Four weekend of the NCAA basketball tournament. The 2027 show would reverse that strategy for one year.

    Two-Night Format Expected to Continue

WrestleVotes reported that it’s possible but unlikely that WrestleMania 43 could return to a one-night event for one year only.

Fightful suggested that WWE’s broadcast partner ESPN, is said to prefer the two-night format. WrestleMania has been a two-night event since WrestleMania 36 in 2020. The format has become standard for the company’s flagship Premium Live Event.

    First International WrestleMania

WrestleMania 43 will be the first time WWE’s marquee event has ever been held outside of the United States or Canada. Nashville, Tennessee was in consideration as the host city before Saudi Arabia was chosen.

WWE is moving ahead with its Saudi Arabia plans despite some uncertainty amid the war between the United States and Israel and Iran. The company also announced that Night of Champions 2026 will be held in Riyadh on Saturday, June 27.

Paige on WWE Return: ‘Don’t Think I’m Wrestling After This’

Former WWE Divas Champion Paige recently revealed that her current WWE run could be her last in professional wrestling. She returned at WrestleMania 42 after nearly four years away from the company.

Speaking on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story? Podcast, Paige explained her mindset for this comeback. She wants to experience marquee matches that didn’t exist during her first WWE tenure.

“I came in this time with a mindset where I just want to be happy and have fun, because I don’t think I’m going to be wrestling after this run. I want to just enjoy my time that I have here, embrace absolutely everything, just enjoy the journey.”

    Making Up for Lost Time

Paige specifically mentioned wanting to compete in Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches. These stipulation matches were not available to women during her original run.

“That’s all I care about. But I do want to finally be able to be in the Royal Rumble that I got to not be a part of and do the Elimination Chambers and do, you know, all these stipulation matches that were not around.”

One-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions recalled a bittersweet moment watching the first women’s Royal Rumble from backstage. She sat in Gorilla Position as the match began, unaware if she would ever get the opportunity to participate.

“I had to be backstage in Gorilla when the Royal Rumble just started, and no one knew I was retired by that point, you know? And so I just sat there and I was just really sad. It was bittersweet. I was happy that the girls finally got this big match that we didn’t have before. But I was sad because I wasn’t a part of it, and I didn’t know if I was ever going to be a part of it again.”

    Return to WWE

Paige returned at WrestleMania 42, replacing Nikki Bella in the Women’s Tag Team Championship match. She teamed with Brie Bella to capture the titles.

The former champion was part of the WWE women’s revolution in 2015. A neck injury two years later forced her into early retirement from in-ring competition. She was medically cleared and wrestled Britt Baker at AEW Full Gear 2022, her first match in five years.

“To have this moment where I’m back in WWE, my neck is good, I’m wrestling again, and there’s opportunities for me to be a part of these stipulation matches. I mean, man, I’m really excited. I’m really excited for the next couple of years.”

  • Why Pat McAfee Backed Out Of Post-WrestleMania 42 Plans

Why Pat McAfee Backed Out Of Post-WrestleMania 42 Plans

NFL legend Pat McAfee had opted out of WWE’s post-WrestleMania 42 plans after the negative reaction he received when revealed as Randy Orton’s mystery caller.

The former NFL punter was unveiled on the April 3 episode of SmackDown, just two weeks before the biggest show of the year. The chaos surrounding McAfee’s involvement in the Orton and Cody Rhodes program now has a clearer explanation. The reaction from fans when McAfee was revealed as the mystery caller directly influenced his decision to step away from the planned storyline.

    Mystery Caller Reveal Falls Flat

McAfee’s appearance on SmackDown was intended to build momentum heading into WrestleMania 42. The mystery caller angle had been a key component of the Orton-Rhodes feud in the weeks leading up to the Premium Live Event.

As per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, McAfee opted out of the angle, and that decision is what led to the broader changes to the plans surrounding WrestleMania 42 and Backlash.

    Meltzer said:

“With the Pat McAfee thing, he opted out. That’s what actually led to everything changing….And then he opted out again.

“That’s why the tag match from Backlash was taken off. Orton and McAfee against Jelly Roll and Cody Rhodes, which Cody Rhodes may not be okay for Backlash anyway, you know with that eye.”

The negative fan response appears to have led McAfee to reconsider his involvement in the post-WrestleMania plans WWE had for him. Meltzer said:

“I was told that the belief was that it was due to the reaction that he pulled out. It wasn’t like anything else.”

McAfee has made sporadic appearances for WWE since his initial run with the company. He previously worked as a commentator on SmackDown and has competed in several high-profile matches, including bouts at WrestleMania.

Vince McMahon Speaks at Hulk Hogan Funeral in Netflix Docuseries

Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had delivered remarks at WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan’s funeral service, with footage now appearing in the Netflix docuseries Hulk Hogan: Real American.

The moment marks a rare public appearance by McMahon following his departure from WWE in January 2024.

Hogan passed away on July 24 last year, prompting tributes across the wrestling industry. While McMahon did not appear during WWE’s televised memorial, he attended the private funeral service where several wrestling legends gathered to honor “The Immortal One.”

    McMahon Leads Final Standing Ovation

The fourth and final episode of the Netflix series includes footage from the funeral service. McMahon recalled how Hogan consistently received standing ovations after his matches throughout his career.

“At the end of every match, they give him a standing ovation. So what I’m suggesting to all of you is that we give Hulk Hogan his very last standing ovation right now,” McMahon said from the podium.

McMahon then applauded as attendees joined in for a final tribute to the wrestling icon. The clip was shared on social media as the docuseries premiered.

    Notable Inclusion Despite WWE Separation

McMahon’s appearance in the documentary is significant given WWE’s public distancing from him after his departure. The series features multiple wrestling figures reflecting on Hogan’s legacy and impact on the industry.

The Hulk Hogan: Real American docuseries is currently streaming on Netflix.

  • Senator Bernie Moreno Makes WrestleMania Pitch To Nick Khan

Senator Bernie Moreno Makes WrestleMania Pitch To Nick Khan

Ohio Senator Bernie Moreno recently used a congressional hearing on the Muhammad Ali Boxing Revival Act to pitch WWE president Nick Khan on bringing WrestleMania to Cleveland.

The Republican senator highlighted Ohio’s soon-to-be-built domed stadium in Cleveland, located directly across from a major airport.

During the hearing, Moreno asked Khan:

“2029 or 2023…what’s better for you to bring WrestleMania to Cleveland?”

The senator noted that Ohio successfully hosted SummerSlam in 2024.

Khan, who appeared surprised by the pitch during the legislative hearing, played along with the request. He joked that Logan Paul pressures him weekly to bring WrestleMania to Ohio, and now he faces additional pressure from Senator Moreno.

WWE Benefits From Ohio Tax Credits

Both WWE and AEW have received Ohio tax credits in recent years for bringing events to the state. The financial incentives have made Ohio an attractive destination for major wrestling promotions.

Khan attended the hearing as the only TKO representative. The hearing focused on the controversial Muhammad Ali Boxing Revival Act, which would create a new “unified Boxing Organization.”

    Boxing Community Opposition

Boxing legend and current promoter Oscar de La Hoya also testified at the hearing, speaking against the proposed revision to the Ali Act. Critics argue the bill’s structure too closely resembles the UFC model and could harm fighters’ interests.

The bill has already passed the U.S. House of Representatives. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas stated he would bring the legislation to the Senate and remains open to bi-partisan modifications.

  • Real Reason WWE Moved WrestleMania 43 To Saudi Arabia

Real Reason WWE Moved WrestleMania 43 To Saudi Arabia

WrestleMania 43 was originally set to take place in Nashville at the new Nissan Stadium in 2027 before WWE shifted the event to Saudi Arabia.

Nashville tourism officials and the Tennessee Titans have confirmed the initial plan on Tuesday.

Andrew BayDala reported on Twitter that the change was due to timing issues with the venue. The new stadium is still under construction and won’t be completed until February 2027, creating a tight window for WrestleMania logistics.

“Today, the Nashville tourism groups & Tennessee Titans announced that #WrestleMania 43 was originally scheduled to be held in Nashville at the new Nissan Stadium in 2027. The reason given for why it is not taking place in Nashville was “the date didn’t work out, and we are looking at future years.”

Stadium Timeline Led to Saudi Arabia Decision

Nashville tourism groups stated “the date didn’t work out, and we are looking at future years” when explaining why WrestleMania 43 won’t take place in Tennessee. The construction timeline for the new Nissan Stadium didn’t align with WWE’s scheduling needs for the 2027 event.

This revelation changes the context around WWE’s decision to take WrestleMania overseas. WWE President Nick Khan previously framed the move to Saudi Arabia as part of the company’s global expansion strategy and its ongoing partnership with the Kingdom.

Nashville remains in consideration for a future WrestleMania once the new stadium is operational. The venue was clearly a priority for WWE before timing became the deciding factor in moving the event to Riyadh.

  • Ric Flair Reveals WWE Blocked WrestleMania 42 Invite After Threatening Ludwig Kaiser

Ric Flair Reveals WWE Blocked WrestleMania 42 Invite After Threatening Ludwig Kaiser

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was not invited to WrestleMania 42 this past weekend, and he has now revealed the reason why.

The 16-time world champion explained that a threatening phone call he made to Ludwig Kaiser roughly a year ago led to WWE keeping him away from the event.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani, ‘Nature Boy’ said that the incident stemmed from comments made during the heated feud between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton ahead of WrestleMania 41. Tiffany made remarks about Charlotte’s real-life divorces, and ‘The Queen’ responded on television by suggesting Kaiser had been in her DMs.

Phone Call Led to WrestleMania Ban

‘The Nature Boy’ confirmed that WWE made the decision not to extend an invitation to WrestleMania 42 as a direct result of the phone call. He acknowledged that his actions crossed a line with the company.

“I didn’t get invited to WrestleMania this year. I threatened to beat up Tiffany Stratton’s boyfriend last year and I wasn’t allowed to go. A 24-year-old kid, threatened, by a 76-year-old man, and I can’t go to WrestleMania. Are you kidding me? That English kid. He’s going to go as far in wrestling as a gnat. He’ll be a fly on the wall in a year,” Flair said.

Ric Flair said he was angry over remarks made by Tiffany and claimed the comments weren’t genuine. He ended by mocking the Kaiser’s career and called him a “punk.”

“They had that thing where Tiffany made smart remarks about Ashley’s divorces, which we both know she’s not smart enough to have written, somebody gave her the script. He implied that he wouldn’t ‘bum one’ off Ashley. Okay, I need your number, and I got it, because I can get anyone’s number that I want any minute of any day.

I called him and said, ‘When I see you, I’m going to beat the sh*t out of you.’ He went like a little b*tch, told Hunter, and I wasn’t allowed to go. He’s going to really go far in the business. A 76-year-old tells a 24-year-old kid that he’s going to kick his ass and where is he now? Is he even on the roster? Little punk,” Flair said.

WrestleMania 42 took place this past weekend without the Hall of Fame legend in attendance. The two-night event featured multiple championship matches and marquee bouts across both Raw and SmackDown brands.

  • Former NXT Star Accused Of False Assault Claim

Former NXT Star Accused Of False Assault Claim

Former WWE star Elayna Black (Cora Jade) has been accused of lying about sexual assault allegations made by against a fan at WrestleCon. Jasmin St. Claire claims she spoke with convention staff who defended the accused individual’s character.

The controversy stems from an incident during WrestleMania week when Black accused a fan of sexually assaulting her at WrestleCon. Black immediately recorded a video of the accused individual and posted it to social media, calling out his behavior.

    St. Claire Defends Accused Fan

Speaking on her show, the former ECW star revealed she contacted WrestleCon staff about the incident. According to St. Claire, convention workers provided background information that contradicted Black’s account.

“By the way, really quick, some people were asking about that whole situation with that girl and the fan at WrestleCon. There are cameras there, guys. You know what? And if something did happen, so be it. But for what I did hear from someone that’s worked at that convention for years, they’ve never had a problem with that specific man. So take it for what it is. Some girls just say stuff… If something bad happened, then oh well,” St. Claire said.

    Black’s Original Accusation

When the alleged assault occurred, Black recorded the accused fan and posted the video to social media. She did not hold back in her condemnation of the individual’s actions.

“Just got sexually assaulted by a fan at WrestleCon! If anyone sees this guy ban him from anything ever. Hey—you’re a sick f****** pig. You like to grab women’s a**** and then come to conventions? F*** you. You’re f****** sick and disgusting—you pig. Get the f*** out,” Black stated in the video.

    KC Navarro Responds to Incident

Black’s boyfriend, wrestler KC Navarro, issued a lengthy statement following the incident. He criticized both the alleged assailant and WrestleCon security for their handling of the situation.

“I just want to address something that happened today at WrestleCon. Obviously, everybody’s seeing what’s going on. You see the video down below. I don’t know what the f*** is up with dudes. And you know what? I’m going to speak up because I know no one else is going to do it. But what gives you the right to touch a woman?” Navarro said.

    He continued:

“Now, I had my guard down for 10 seconds when this whole situation happened. But as soon as I realized what happened and security did absolutely nothing but sit there, I grabbed the motherf**** myself and I threw him out myself.”

Navarro emphasized the need for respect regardless of a performer’s online presence.

“I don’t give a f*** if you guys want to subscribe to OnlyFans and have your fantasies… I don’t care if you guys are the biggest Elayna Black fans… At the end of the day, she’s a f****** woman. Have some f****** respect,” he stated.

  • Joe Jonas Was ‘More Nervous’ Meeting John Cena Than Singing at WrestleMania 42

Joe Jonas Was ‘More Nervous’ Meeting John Cena Than Singing at WrestleMania 42

Joe Jonas recently revealed that he was comfortable singing the national anthem in front of the WrestleMania 42 crowd. However, he got nervous when meeting the 17-time World Champion John Cena backstage.

After kicking off WrestleMania 42 Night Two with the national anthem, Jonas revealed in his vlog that despite the pressure of performing in front of thousands of fans, that part didn’t compare to something much more personal that happened behind the scenes.

“I was more nervous—I was more nervous to say hi to John Cena than I was to sing the national anthem,” Jonas admitted in the vlog.

The singer then broke down the interaction itself, explaining that when he finally approached Cena, he didn’t have a smooth introduction ready. Jonas awkwardly shook Cena’s hand and mentioned that Priyanka Chopra speaks highly of the WWE superstar.

“I literally walked up to John Cena and I said, ‘Uh, Pri speaks very highly of you…’” Jonas recalled.

Jonas handled the spotlight just fine on stage at WrestleMania 42, delivering a strong rendition of the national anthem. But backstage, even the experienced performer had a genuine fan moment when it came to meeting one of WWE’s biggest stars.

  • Jey Uso Open to Revisiting Roman Reigns’ Right-Hand Man Role

Jey Uso Open to Revisiting Roman Reigns’ Right-Hand Man Role

Former World Champion Jey Uso is open to revisiting his role as Roman Reigns’ right-hand man in WWE.

Speaking with House of Solo, Uso expressed interest in returning to the role that defined The Bloodline’s dominance. He highlighted that the experience would feel different after his successful singles run.

“I would like to give one more ‘right hand man’ run. One more run, after this YEET man run,” Uso said. “It would be really special and feel really real. I think that is one version of me that I think I would like to give the WWE Universe.”

    Bloodline Reunion Changes Dynamic

The original Bloodline reunited on Raw after WrestleMania 42, with Reigns now holding the World Heavyweight Championship. Both Usos stood alongside the ‘Tribal Chief’, though the dynamic appears different from their previous run together.

Reigns has emphasized unity over hierarchy in the reformed faction. The shift marks a departure from the strict pecking order that characterized The Bloodline’s original incarnation.

    Family and Independence Shape Career

Uso reflected on how family has influenced his wrestling career throughout the interview. He stressed that personal relationships take priority over professional success.

“Family has always influenced me regardless of my career. Family first, always. Before money, before fame… all you have left is your relationships with your family.”

‘Main Event’ Jey Uso also highlighted his singles breakout as a defining moment in his career. His “YEET Man” persona has connected with fans and established him as a main event talent in his own right.

“I feel like we made OUR legacy when I debuted with my brother… The truth is, I started a new legacy in 2023-2024 when I started to step out on my own and built the ‘Yeet Man.’”

With The Bloodline back together and new challengers like Jacob Fatu emerging, Uso’s potential return to his enforcer role could add another dimension to the faction’s evolving story.

  • How Paige’s WWE Return At WrestleMania 42 Came Together

How Paige’s WWE Return At WrestleMania 42 Came Together

WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella recently revealed how Paige’s surprise return at WrestleMania 42 came together.

The former Divas champion stepped in to replace an injured Nikki Bella and captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. It marked Paige’s first WWE match since 2017.

The Conversation That Started It All

Speaking on the Nikki & Brie Show podcast, Brie explained the unexpected series of events that led to the reunion. The story began weeks earlier at a live podcast event in New York.

“If you were at the live podcast in New York, Becky asked me, ‘Who would you pick as a partner who would you pick?’ I said Saraya. Then I was like, ‘Wait, we’re going to start rumors and headlines.’ It hadn’t even been talked about. We talk to Paige all the time, but it was a joke.”

Brie said they had to cut that segment from the show to avoid speculation. At the time, there had been no discussions about Paige returning to WWE.

    Birmingham Coincidence Changed Everything

The situation shifted when Nikki traveled to Birmingham for ankle surgery. Brie texted Paige about potentially missing WrestleMania, only to discover both women were in Birmingham simultaneously.

“Literally, Nikki is in Birmingham getting her surgery, and I text Saraya, ‘I think I might be out of Mania.’ I told her I was in Birmingham with Nikki and she goes, ‘Shut up, I’m in Birmingham.’ ‘What. Nikki is getting surgery?’ They were in Birmingham at the same time,” Brie said.

    Nikki confirmed the timing, noting,

“I think when she was flying out, I was just getting to the doctor’s office. We just missed each other.”

    Paige Stepped Up Despite Uncertainty

Brie told WWE creative she was willing to sit out WrestleMania if Nikki couldn’t compete. When Paige learned about the situation, she committed to helping despite no official talks with WWE.

“It was interesting because she’s like, ‘I don’t know if they’ll have me. There haven’t been talks.’ It was a lot on her because she’s like, ‘Girl, I’m not even with them yet, but whatever, I’m there.’ Paige always rallies with us,” Brie explained. “I didn’t even know it was going to work. To me, it was the stars starting to align that you guys were there at the same time.”

Nikki previously revealed she fractured, sprained, and broke her ankle, requiring surgery that kept her out of the match. Paige’s return allowed the tag team title match to proceed as planned at WrestleMania 42.

Randy Orton Calls Out Former WWE Star Over $25,000 Debt

Randy Orton recently called out former WWE star Ted DiBiase Jr. during WrestleMania 42 weekend.

During an interview with The Schmo, ‘The Viper’ claimed his former Legacy teammate owes him a whopping sum of $25,000.

DiBiase Jr. attended WrestleMania 42 in one of his first major public sightings after being cleared in his federal case. When asked about his former Legacy teammate, Orton didn’t hold back.

“Ted owes me 25 grand. Clip this sh**, put it out there—maybe he’ll hear it and pay me,” Orton stated.

    Orton’s Comment Sparks Speculation

Randy Orton offered no additional context or explanation for the claim. He simply dropped the line and moved on, leaving fans to speculate whether he was joking or referencing an actual debt between the two former tag team partners.

The timing of the comment adds another layer to DiBiase Jr.’s WrestleMania 42 appearance. After years away from the spotlight, his return to a major WWE event was already generating attention before Orton’s remark turned it into a bigger talking point.

Orton and DiBiase Jr. worked together as part of the Legacy faction alongside Cody Rhodes from 2008 to 2010. The group was a prominent part of WWE programming during that era, with Orton serving as the veteran leader of the stable.

Booker T On Security Breach At WrestleMania 42 Hotel: ‘He Was Filming Me In The Bathroom’

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently said that WWE needed significantly better security at the MGM Grand hotel during WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas.

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer described the situation as the toughest he’s ever dealt with in terms of fan behavior.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T detailed how fans were mobbing WWE wrestlers and legends throughout the hotel. He urged fans to give performers more privacy and space in the future.

“Walking through MGM Grand, we needed some better security at MGM Grand this year. Just because, it was really, really hard. I can only imagine what the superstars, the guys that’s actually going out there and doing it in the ring, how it felt for them. Because I got mobbed, and I’m not even doing this anymore. So hopefully we can get that fixed.”

    Fans Followed Wrestlers Everywhere

Booker T said fans were camped out throughout the hotel and following wrestlers everywhere they went. The NXT commentator recounted one particularly egregious incident where a fan filmed him while he was in the bathroom.

“They were camped out, everywhere, they were camped out. You couldn’t walk anywhere. And they were following you. In the bathroom, I remember the guy literally was filming me in the bathroom. And when I walked out he goes, ‘Hey, Booker.’ And I just kept walking because I was so mad because he was filming me in the bathroom.”

    Security Issues All Weekend

The security problems extended throughout WrestleMania 42 weekend. After night two of the event, CM Punk knocked a fan’s phone away as the fan was trying to film an interaction between AJ Lee and Bayley.

Security was reportedly an issue all weekend, with not enough being done to give talent privacy when they had to go through common areas where fans would be.

People were being disrespectful throughout the MGM Grand, creating an uncomfortable environment for WWE talent and legends alike.

Jacob Fatu Reveals What Roman Reigns Told Him Before WrestleMania 42

Jacob Fatu recently opened up about a crucial backstage moment with World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns that helped him stay focused before his WrestleMania 42 victory over Drew McIntyre.

‘The Samoan Werewolf’ defeated McIntyre in an Unsanctioned Match on night one of the premium live event, marking his second straight WrestleMania win.

Speaking with Daniel Cormier in a new interview, Fatu revealed the emotions hit him hard just before his entrance. He ran into ‘OTC’ backstage moments before walking out.

    Fatu said:

“It was emotional. It didn’t hit me until I actually was getting ready to walk out. I’m so nervous. I seen a couple cats on the way. I seen my big Uce, I seen the Tribal Chief roaming range yesterday. Right before I walked out. He still calls me Jake, Jakester, Jakey, you know what I mean.”

    The Tribal Chief’s Advice

Reigns delivered simple but meaningful advice in that moment. The counsel echoed something Fatu’s wife regularly tells him.

“So he had to (tell me), you know, ‘hey, man, calm down. Enjoy the moment,’ you know? Something that my wife always tells me. But Roman was like, ‘just take it all in,’ and before I went out, man, being ready, having my gear on and locked in, man, just thinking about all the tough times, all the struggle, everything to bring me to this moment right here. I mean, come on, man. I’m very blessed to be in WWE for two years and be 2-0 at WrestleMania right out the gate.”

The night after WrestleMania, Fatu appeared on the April 20 Raw After WrestleMania episode and confronted Roman Reigns. He made it clear he wants a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming Backlash premium live event.

Fatu has been with WWE for two years and has already established himself as a major player on the biggest stages. His undefeated WrestleMania record puts him in rare company among recent WWE signings.

  • Roman Reigns Makes Bold Claim About The Rock’s Career

Roman Reigns Makes Bold Claim About The Rock’s Career

Former Undisputed WWE Champion Roman Reigns recently shared his perspective on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s unprecedented career success and why modern wrestlers face different challenges in replicating that trajectory.

‘The OTC’ discussed The Rock’s unique path from WWE superstar to Hollywood megastar, acknowledging the distinct era and circumstances that enabled Johnson’s crossover success.

    The Rock’s Unique Path

Speaking with Nico Leonard, Roman Reigns highlighted that The Rock’s career represents a singular achievement in professional wrestling history. The combination of timing, opportunity, and Johnson’s natural charisma created a blueprint that cannot be easily duplicated.

“It would still be close to where it’s at, but you would have some missing gaps. To replace my family, and Dwayne in general, it would take a lot to fill those voids. What he’s done is unspoken. Nobody ever hit the scene like Dwayne did and was able to move on to the next thing. To be able to keep it there, that was perfect.

    He added:

“Three or four years of perfection and then so smoothly transition to the big screen, no one will ever do that. It will never happen again. No one has ever been white hot in two years, and then two years later, now they’re the biggest box office draw. It won’t happen against because the template is different.”

Reigns’ comments come as he continues his own high-profile run in WWE. While The Rock has made sporadic returns to wrestling, his primary focus remains on his entertainment empire.

    Modern Wrestling Landscape

The wrestling industry has evolved significantly since The Rock’s initial departure from full-time competition in the early 2000s. Today’s performers face different media landscapes and opportunities than those in Johnson’s era.

Reigns himself has achieved mainstream recognition during his historic title reign. However, he appears to recognize the unique circumstances that allowed his cousin to transition into one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Roman Reigns is set to challenge CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42.

Nick Khan Names Rhea Ripley as WWE’s Future Top Star Ahead of WrestleMania 42

WWE President Nick Khan believes former Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley will be one of the faces of the company in the coming years.

Speaking on The Bill Simmons Podcast before WrestleMania 42, Khan named ‘The Eradicator’ as his top pick to be WWE’s biggest star in 2033.

“I think there’s a shot for a couple people, I think. Keep in mind Rhea is in her late 20s, Rhea Ripley. She’s amazing. She has a chance. She’s already up there.”

Last year, Ripley helped steal the show at WrestleMania 41. She competed in a triple threat with IYO SKY and Bianca Belair that earned widespread praise from fans and critics.

Khan’s Vision for WWE’s Future Stars

Khan also listed Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, Oba Femi, and Trick Williams as options for WWE’s top star in 2033. He highlighted the importance of letting young talent develop at their own pace.

“I’m high on Logan Paul. He’s good, dude. And by the way, he puts in the work,” Khan said. “I’m high on Bron. We cannot rush it, though. Gotta sort of let him develop at his own pace.”

Khan praised Trick Williams for being authentic and understanding the media. He looks for wrestlers whose inner voice matches their outer voice.

“I always look for people whose inner voice matches their outer voice. I look for that in wrestlers. I look for it in political people,” Khan explained. “Trick Williams is Trick Williams. So I like that.”

Rhea Ripley enters her seventh WrestleMania this weekend in one of the top matches on night two. She challenges Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship on Sunday.

Rhea Ripley Addresses Steroid Accusations Ahead of WrestleMania 42

Rhea Ripley recently revealed she has been battling an eating disorder and directly addressed accusations that she has used steroids.

During an appearance on the Pod Meets World podcast,’The Eradicator’ opened up about her mental health struggles. Ripley explained why she decided to publicly discuss her eating disorder after initially keeping it private. The former Women’s World Champ said she wants to help others who may be going through similar struggles.

“I tried to keep the whole eating disorder quiet for a while because I’m still figuring it out. I try to be as vocal with my struggles as possible because if it’s going to help someone, then why not talk about it?”

    She added:

“I needed that when I was going through stuff as a kid. If I knew my idols were going through these struggles and they are powering through and being amazing, and I look up to them and think they are strong and larger than life, then I can get through it too.”

    Steroid Accusations

The former Women’s World Champion directly responded to online speculation about her physique and recent weight loss. She confirmed that WWE superstars are regularly tested and denied using performance-enhancing drugs.

“I saw so many things. ‘She had to lose weight because of her back pain.’ ‘She’s off the roids.’ We get tested. I’m not on anything.”

Ripley attributed her eating disorder to stress and her need for control. She cited multiple factors including her work schedule, crowd reactions during the Australian tour, and personal issues with a former friend.

Mental Health and Social Media Struggles

Rhea Ripley further described the difficulty of managing her mental health while dealing with constant negativity on social media. She said X (formerly Twitter) has become particularly challenging as a work environment.

“It’s hard going on and trying to make it a work environment, but then, because it is a work environment, I get all these things coming up on my For You page. As soon as I click on the app, it’s negative towards me,” Ripley explained.

“I can’t even escape it or doomscroll like a normal human without seeing things about me, about my body, about my booking, about me as a human, even though they don’t know who the hell I am.”

Ripley credited her support system for helping her through difficult periods. She specifically mentioned her husband Buddy Matthews, her dogs, and her friend Tommy as her strong points who provide a positive environment.

Rhea Ripley will challenge Jade Cargill for the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42 Night 2 on April 19.

  • Liv Morgan Stalker Case: WWE Contacted FBI After Break-In Attempt

Liv Morgan Stalker Case: WWE Contacted FBI After Break-In Attempt

Liv Morgan recently revealed that WWE contacted the FBI after a stalker attempted to break into her home last year. The suspect was arrested outside the WWE Performance Center and remains in custody awaiting trial.

The former Women’s World Champion discussed the incident during an appearance on the You Wish podcast with Holly Madison. She explained that the stalker spent a couple of hours outside her home while she was away for work, ringing her doorbell and attempting to gain entry by searching for keys under mats.

The stalker left a two-page letter at Morgan’s home. According to Morgan, the individual appeared to believe he was in a relationship with her and accused her of being the stalker.

“A couple months ago, I was away for work, and when I’m gone, my mom holds down the fort. She takes care of the animals, her and my family. I guess a fan had gotten through my gated community and was like ringing my doorbell for two hours, and was surveying the property, and was trying to get into the house. He was looking under the mats for keys; this was lingering for two hours.”

    WWE Escalated Case to FBI

Morgan immediately notified WWE of the situation. The company escalated the matter beyond standard security protocols.

“I had to reach out to WWE like, ‘Hey, I just wanted to let you guys be aware of this, maybe we monitor coming to shows, etc., etc.’ They took it and were like, ‘No, we’re sending this to the FBI, this is not okay. This is not just like a fan visiting your house; he was outside for two hours, and he tried to break and enter.’ He got arrested the next day, and he’s been in jail. He’s been in jail since like three months and we have to go to court and this whole thing.”

Suspect Arrested at WWE Performance Center

The suspect was arrested outside the WWE Performance Center the day after the incident. He has remained in custody for approximately three months.

No trial date has been set, and the case remains pending. Morgan stated she feels safe and expressed sympathy for the individual despite the severity of the situation.

Morgan is set to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World title at WWE WrestleMania 42 Night One in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Liv Morgan Offers Valuable Advice To IShowSpeed For WrestleMania 42

Former Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan recently made a surprise appearance on IShowSpeed’s livestream during WrestleMania 42 week in Las Vegas, sporting visible injuries.

The Judgment Day member showed up with bruising under both eyes and a hematoma on her forehead. It stems from the incident on the April 6 edition of Raw where Stephanie Vaquer pushed her into Roxanne Perez, and they collided heads.

Morgan was the first of three WWE Superstars to appear on Speed’s stream during his first day in Las Vegas. The popular content creator is in town for WrestleMania 42 week festivities.

    Liv Morgan Offers WrestleMania Advice

During her appearance, Morgan provided advice to IShowSpeed about WrestleMania 42.

“Honestly, I don’t know how much you’ve been training. I don’t know how much you’ve been doing, but I feel like I would just tell you to just be present in the moment. You know yourself. You know how you want to represent yourself. You know what you need to do in the ring.”

    She added:

“So just try to enjoy it and just soak it all in. Because it’s going to go by so quick. You’re going to go out there and be like, wow, this is so incredible. And then in like, it’s gonna feel like two minutes, and then blink of an eye, it’s done, and you’re gonna wish maybe I savored a little bit more.”

IShowSpeed will join forces with Logan Paul and Austin Theory to face LA Knight and The Usos in the opening match of WrestleMania 42 Night One. On the same night, Liv Morgan will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World title.

  • Jey Uso Attacks Rapper Cam’ron During Heated Interview

Jey Uso Attacks Rapper Cam’ron During Heated Interview

Former World Champion Jey Uso was recently involved in a physical altercation with rapper Cam’ron during a Thursday appearance on the It Is What It Is podcast with Cam’ron and Ma$e.

Jey threw the rapper to the ground after a tense exchange about his standing within his legendary wrestling family.

The incident occurred after Cam’ron repeatedly questioned Uso’s abilities compared to other members of his family, including The Rock and Roman Reigns. When asked where he ranks among his family’s heavy hitters, Uso acknowledged his relatives’ accomplishments.

“There’s so many heavy hitters in my family, like my dad, Yokozuna, Rock…I wouldn’t say I’m above like Roman Reigns,” Uso said.

    Cam’ron immediately interjected:

    “Yeah because you not.”

    Tension Escalates Over Family Comparisons

When Ma$e asked if Uso felt he ranked higher than The Rock, the WWE star was careful with his response.

“I feel like I’m up there with him, but I got a lot to grow,” Uso stated.

The exchange grew increasingly confrontational when Cam’ron asked if anyone had ever “tried him” in public. After a long stare, Uso responded:

    “Yeah they have, Uce.”

Discussion of Uso’s upcoming WrestleMania match involving YouTubers IShowSpeed and Logan Paul further heightened tensions. When asked about wrestling YouTubers, Uso said:

“They can get slapped, too. Yeah, you want to try?”

    Fiery Exchange

Cam’ron attempted to defuse the situation, saying:

“Let me ask you this cause I don’t know where we are going with this, but let me try and stick to the script.”

Uso questioned whether he was wanted on the show. Cam’ron later mocked him with:

“Do you have anything else to say? Because I don’t smell what the Uce is cooking.”

    When Cam’ron added

“You looking at me like it’s a problem,” Uso responded: “You coming off a little disrespectful.”

    The rapper fired back:

“No, I think you’re coming off as a little disrespectful in my house a little bit.”

    Cam’ron continued:

“I have much love for your family. I think your family is wrestling royalty. When you say you wrestle as good as The Rock, I got a problem with that. I just can’t respect it.”

    Physical Altercation Breaks Out

After Cam’ron stated he would watch WrestleMania Sunday but not Saturday, Uso stood up and grabbed the rapper while walking past him, pulling him to the ground.

Others quickly intervened to break up the scuffle. Cam’ron was shown on the ground covering his head as Uso was escorted away.

Ma$e revealed after the show returned that he called security during the altercation. It remains unclear whether the exchange was legitimate or staged for entertainment purposes.

  • Becky Lynch Clarifies Final WWE Contract Comments: ‘I Didn’t Say It With Assuredness’

Becky Lynch Clarifies Final WWE Contract Comments: ‘I Didn’t Say It With Assuredness’

Becky Lynch recently clarified comments about her WWE future, walking back the certainty of previous statements that her current contract would be her last.

The original comments appeared on season two of WWE Unreal, where Lynch said this run is “probably it” and called it her final contract.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Lynch emphasized she never said it with complete assurance.

“I mean, I didn’t say it with such assuredness as you did, right? I said it’s probably my last one. I think I said this is likely my last one. That’s not a sure [thing], but, yeah, no, it might be, could be,” Lynch explained.

    Balancing Career and Family

When asked what factors into her thinking, Lynch pointed to multiple considerations, including her daughter at home and the possibility of expanding her family.

She acknowledged being in her prime with plenty left in the tank, but noted the importance of not overstaying her welcome.

“I don’t know, it could be longer, but you never want to outstay your welcome. Although, I’m in my prime, I can go, plenty left in the tank. But I also have my daughter at home, and maybe I’ll want another one, and at some point, you have to just be happy with what you’ve done.”

‘The Man’ added that her love for wrestling isn’t going anywhere, but there are many factors beyond just performing that weigh into her decision-making process.

    Decision Based on Fun

Lynch emphasized that sometimes she makes decisions based purely on what she finds fun, regardless of external perceptions.

“Sometimes I just go, what do I want to do? What would I think is fun? Maybe nobody else will, but this is what I want to do, and this is what I’m happy doing.”

The comments come as Lynch prepares to challenge AJ Lee for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42.

  • Becky Lynch Reveals CM Punk Slap Segment Was Largely Unscripted

Becky Lynch Reveals CM Punk Slap Segment Was Largely Unscripted

Former WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch has revealed that her viral confrontation with CM Punk on Raw was largely improvised, with much of the physical segment unfolding in the moment rather than being scripted beat-for-beat.

On the September 1, 2025 edition of Raw, ‘The Man’ confronted Punk in the ring and delivered a flurry of slaps while driving her head into his chest. Throughout the segment, Punk didn’t retaliate, creating one of the most talked-about moments of the year.

Becky Lynch Explains the Unscripted Approach

Speaking on the Chris Van Vliet podcast, Becky Lynch explained that she entered the segment with only a basic framework in mind. She knew she would slap Punk, but everything that followed was left open to unfold organically.

“That—slapping the pi** out of him. I didn’t know what I was going to do. I knew I was going to slap him, and whatever was going to happen after that….was going to happen after that.”

The physicality escalated as Lynch chose in the moment to drive her head into Punk’s chest, adding another layer of intensity to the confrontation. She also joked about wanting an actual count of how many times she struck Punk across the two weeks.

“And putting my head into his chest was part of it. I would love a slap count—I slapped him many, many times, maybe a hundred over the course of a couple of days, because I did it twice. It wasn’t just that one week—I did it the next week too,” she added.

It eventually led to CM Punk’s wife AJ Lee, returning to WWE following a 11-year absence from the company. Lee teamed with CM Punk and emerged victorious over Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at Wrestlepalooza PLE last year.
