Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho is expected to return to AEW in the near future, as per a new report. Sources within the company believe the veteran wrestler will be back soon, potentially as early as Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite.
The report also noted that Jericho and AEW have discussed his return over the past couple of months. However, no definite confirmation has been provided.
Wednesday’s Dynamite takes place at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jericho’s hometown. The timing and location have fueled speculation about a potential return appearance.
WWE Return Not Expected
While there have been talks between Jericho and WWE, the company never had creative plans for him, according to Fightful. He was not planned for the WWE Raw on Netflix anniversary, the Royal Rumble, or the Elimination Chamber, despite heavy speculation surrounding each event.
Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reported that WWE sources said fans should not expect Jericho in WWE “any time soon, if ever.” This statement was made around the same time Jericho filed his new trademark.
Current Schedule and Status
Jericho has concerts scheduled with his KISS cover band Kuarantine in New York on Thursday and Friday. The band will perform in Cohoes on Thursday night and Rome on Friday, with the first show approximately a six-hour flight from Winnipeg.
Despite his ongoing absence from television, Jericho remains listed on the AEW roster page. His last appearance for the company came before his current hiatus began earlier this year.
The Usos and LA Knight are reportedly scheduled for a six-man tag team match at WrestleMania 42. The match would pit the trio against The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) and YouTube star IShowSpeed.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Live that the match is currently listed on internal planning documents.
“Right now, a match with Paul & Austin Theory & IShowSpeed vs The Usos & LA Knight is scheduled for the show,” Meltzer stated.
The report includes a contingency plan if IShowSpeed isn’t cleared to compete.
“If Speed isn’t ready, they could do a tag match with Knight and Speed in the corners, but right now, it’s the trios match that is on the match listing,” Meltzer explained.
IShowSpeed’s WWE Involvement
IShowSpeed has been involved in recent WWE programming, appearing on RAW in segments with The Vision. The YouTube personality even punched LA Knight with brass knuckles during the latest episode of Raw, setting up potential storyline justification for the WrestleMania match.
No official announcement has been made by WWE regarding the match.
El Grande Match Moved to AAA
Meltzer also addressed the status of a previously rumored mask vs. mask match. The bout between El Grande Americano and Original El Grande Americano will not take place at WrestleMania 42.
“The El Grande vs. El Grande match is going to happen for AAA. They’ve got a date booked for that match, so they’re not doing a mask vs. mask match between those two guys at WrestleMania, they’re saving that for AAA,” Meltzer reported.
WrestleMania 42 takes place on April 18-19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
WWE recently filed a trademark for the term “EK Prosper” on March 31st, 2026. The filing covers entertainment services including live wrestling exhibitions and performances by professional wrestlers.
The trademark is classified under International Class 041, which encompasses entertainment services. It includes production and distribution of content through television, radio, and internet platforms.
Trademark Coverage Details
The filing covers a broad range of wrestling-related services. These include providing wrestling news and information via online platforms, organizing fan club events, and maintaining an online community portal for sports entertainment.
Additional services listed in the trademark include online newsletters and blogs focused on sports entertainment. The complete description also covers social entertainment events organized specifically for wrestling fan club members.
No On-Screen Use Announced
WWE has not revealed any specific plans for on-screen use of the “EK Prosper” name. The trademark filing does not indicate whether this will be used for a wrestler, storyline, or other WWE property.
Trademark filings often precede official announcements by several weeks or months. WWE routinely files trademarks for potential future use across its programming and digital platforms.
In February, WWE also filed trademarks for the names CJ Valor, Santi Rivera, and Romeo Moreno, with the US Patent and Trademark Office. It seems that these might be used as names of future WWE Superstars.
Mercedes Moné recently lost the Winnipeg Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship to Jody Threat on Tuesday night at the promotion’s annual Fight at the Museum event. The loss continues a difficult stretch for Moné, who has dropped multiple championships in recent months.
The match served as redemption for Threat, who previously lost the title to Moné back in October. Threat earned her rematch by winning the Voyageur Cup tournament, defeating competitors including Allie Katch and Shayna Baszler along the way.
Following the match, ‘The CEO’ lost her cool and in a video surfaced on social media, she could be seen splashing water from a bottle at the cameraman and crew.

Moné spent much of March traveling internationally to defend titles she won throughout 2025, making stops in places like Mexico, Poland, Italy, and England. However, the month turned into a losing streak that has cost her championship after championship.
The recent run of losses began when Moné’s TBS Championship reign ended on New Year’s Eve against Willow Nightingale. Since that defeat, she has been dropping titles one after another, slowly losing the collection that once made her one of the most decorated champions in wrestling.
Down to One Championship
After her latest loss, Moné is now down to just one remaining title, the APAC Women’s Championship. This marks a major shift for the superstar, whose global championship tour once made headlines across multiple promotions.
With only one belt left, Moné’s next move could determine whether this marks the end of her belt-collector era or the start of a new chapter in her career.
Roman Reigns recently fired back at World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk after a video surfaced of the latter getting into a heated exchange with a fan at Madison Square Garden following the March 30th episode of WWE Raw.
The incident occurred after Raw went off the air, when a fan repeatedly shouted support for Reigns. Punk responded with profanity-laced insults that were captured on video and quickly spread across social media.
Reigns took to X on March 31st to publicly criticize Punk’s behavior. ‘OTC’ didn’t hold back in his response, posting on Twitter:
“THIS is THE champion? In Madison Square Garden? Your Tribal Chief will end this embarrassment at WrestleMania.”
THIS is THE champion? In Madison Square Garden? Your Tribal Chief will end this embarrassment at WrestleMania. https://t.co/BoRV4nJyur
The off-air confrontation came immediately after an intense Raw main event segment between Punk and Reigns. The two superstars brawled around ringside in a physical exchange that saw Punk powerbomb Reigns through the announce table.
Punk remained fired up after the show concluded. When the fan continued heckling him with chants of “I acknowledge Roman,” Punk unloaded with multiple F-bombs in front of the live crowd.
WrestleMania Implications
Reigns used the incident to shift the narrative heading into WrestleMania 42, positioning himself as the one who will restore order. Rather than letting the moment pass, he framed Punk’s behavior as a sign of weakness from the champion.
Punk currently holds the World Heavyweight Championship on Raw in his second reign. The personal nature of this exchange adds another layer to their ongoing rivalry as WWE builds toward its biggest show of the year.
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella recently provided a positive update on the ankle injury she suffered during the March 27th episode of SmackDown, confirming it is only a sprain and that she expects to be medically cleared within 7-10 days.
Nikki was spotted wearing a walking boot in New York City on Sunday. Reports suggest that she is doing ‘fine.’
How The Injury Happened
Nikki went down during a tag team match on SmackDown in which The Bella Twins defeated Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. According to PWInsider, Bella rolled her left ankle during an exchange with Charlotte Flair. She was visibly limping after the spot and did not return to the ring for the post-match segment.
While the rest of the women involved in the ensuing brawl celebrated in the ring, Nikki remained at ringside being evaluated by medical staff. Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live initially reported that Bella appeared to be fine after the incident.
WrestleMania 42 Plans On Track
The walking boot understandably raised concerns about Nikki’s availability for WrestleMania, but her 7-10 day recovery timeline puts her well within reach of the April 18-19 event. F4WOnline has also backed up the report that Nikki will be ready in time.
The Bella Twins have been building toward the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships since reuniting at the Royal Rumble in January. They are now confirmed for the fatal four-way Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania against champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
Nikki and Brie signed a two-year contract with WWE beginning at the Royal Rumble and have said this will be their final run as active competitors.

NXT Roadblock Match Card for March 31, 2026
Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:
The winner earns the right to challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver. Both women have legitimate claims to the opportunity. Vice has been on the NXT roster since early 2023 and has come agonizingly close to winning the title on multiple occasions, including a loss to Jayne at No Mercy. Grey’s rise has been meteoric by comparison. She debuted in NXT in March 2024, broke out on the Evolve brand, and won the Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline to earn her first Women’s Championship match at New Year’s Evil. Interim GM Robert Stone set this match after both women staked their claim following last week’s show.
Los Americanos (Rayo & Bravo Americano) vs. Birthright (Channing Lorenzo & Uriah Connors) (Tag Title #1 Contender’s Tournament Final)
The finals of the tag team tournament that Robert Stone announced on the March 10 episode. The winners face The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) for the NXT Tag Team Championship at Stand & Deliver. Los Americanos advanced by beating The Culling (Niko Vance & Shawn Spears), while Birthright knocked off Hank & Tank on their side of the bracket. With Charlie Dempsey and the rest of the Birthright stable at ringside, expect Lorenzo and Connors to use every shortcut available.
Mike Santana & OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) vs. DarkState (Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin & Saquon Shugars)
OTM and DarkState have been tangled up for months, and it never seems to be a fair fight. That changes tonight with TNA Champion Mike Santana joining forces with Bronco Nima and Lucien Price. Santana has his own history with DarkState, and the New York crowd should be firmly in his corner as a hometown fighter stepping into an MSG ring.
Jasper Troy vs. Keanu Carver (Special Guest Referee: Josh Briggs)
This stems from Carver’s attack during Booker T Appreciation Night, where he crashed the celebration and went after everyone in sight. Troy turned face by stepping up to neutralize Carver. Finding an official willing to work this match proved to be its own subplot, with multiple referees declining the assignment before Briggs volunteered just to get himself on the Roadblock card.
Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan
These two have been circling each other since Jordan’s return from TNA, and the tension escalated last week when Parker intervened after Jordan’s match against Thea Hail. Parker has been one of the most consistent performers on the brand, and Jordan has leaned into an aggressive streak since coming back. This one should hit hard.
Tatum Paxley and Blake Monroe Meet Face-to-Face
The saga of the stolen NXT Women’s North American Championship continues. Paxley tracked Monroe down to a hotel last week and confronted her after weeks of Monroe hiding with the title. Tonight they come face-to-face in the ring at MSG.
NXT Championship Contract Signing: Joe Hendry (c), Ethan Page, Ricky Saints, and Tony D’Angelo
All four men will put pen to paper ahead of their Fatal Four Way for the NXT Championship at Stand & Deliver. D’Angelo went on a rampage two weeks ago that changed the entire title picture. Saints and Page both have unfinished business with the champion. Contract signings in NXT have a strong track record of going sideways, and with four men who genuinely don’t like each other sharing a table in front of the MSG crowd, tonight should be no different.
Road to NXT Stand & Deliver 2026
NXT Stand & Deliver 2026 takes place Saturday, April 4 at The Factory at The District in St. Louis, Missouri. The event will air for free on YouTube in the US.
Tonight is the last opportunity to set the table. The Women’s Championship and Tag Team Championship challengers will be determined tonight, joining a card that already includes Joe Hendry defending the NXT Championship in a Fatal Four Way, Myles Borne defending the North American Championship against a returning Johnny Gargano, and Sol Ruca vs. Zaria in a personal grudge match.
Former NXT Champion Trick Williams recently secured his spot at WrestleMania 42, but he believes his former ally Carmelo Hayes deserves one too.
Following Friday’s SmackDown in Pittsburgh, Williams was announced as the challenger for Sami Zayn’s newly won WWE United States Championship at “The Grandest Stage of Them All.” However, Hayes remains without an announced role for WWE’s biggest show of the year.
During an appearance on Mornings With Mero on HOT 97, Williams spoke passionately about Hayes’ situation and their history together.
“Me and Melo, we go way back, of course,” Williams said. “And I would love to see him get his moment, and he deserves that. And you never know, he probably still will. You know what I mean, he carried that US title great. So he deserves his moment and I’m sure he’s going to get his moment.”
Hayes had been riding high as United States Champion with a 98-day reign before losing the title to Zayn on SmackDown. The defeat came with help from Williams himself, who blindsided his former friend and NXT ally with a punch during the match.
Williams also highlighted the current wave of young Black talent in WWE, which includes rising stars like Oba Femi and Je’Von Evans.
“First of all, what a time, man,” Williams said. “Some of these things you can’t control. It is the right time. I got to say, shout out to the guys who came before us.”
The comments show the respect between the former allies despite their recent in-ring conflict. While Williams has his WrestleMania 42 opportunity locked in against Zayn for the US Championship, Hayes’ fans will hope WWE finds a meaningful spot for the talented performer on the card.
With WrestleMania 42 still building its lineup, there remains time for Hayes to secure his moment on wrestling’s biggest stage.
Former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens has surfaced on social media with a cryptic message that has the WWE Universe buzzing with speculation about his potential involvement in the heated feud between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.
On X, ‘The Prizefighter’ posted footage of himself playing with a Cody Rhodes action figure while Rhodes’ theme song played in the background. The timing of this post has fans connecting dots to recent storyline developments.
For the past few weeks on WWE SmackDown, Randy Orton has been receiving instructions from a mysterious caller whose identity remains unknown. Before his injury-related hiatus, KO was engaged in a rivalry with Orton, though the two share a well-documented friendship outside the ring.
Before being sidelined, Owens served as a central figure in storylines involving both Rhodes and Orton. His cryptic social media activity comes at a crucial time as WWE builds toward major storylines heading into WrestleMania season.
Owens’ Current Status
While Owens has appeared in WWE’s YouTube content during his time away, he has not returned to a full-time television schedule. The Canadian wrestler has avoided making official announcements about his return timeline, leaving fans to speculate based on his social media activity.
If Owens is indeed the voice on the other end of Orton’s phone calls, it would position Cody Rhodes for a significant challenge as WWE continues building toward WrestleMania 42. The potential reunion of Owens and Orton, despite their previous on-screen rivalry, adds another layer of intrigue to an already complex storyline.
WWE has not officially confirmed Owens’ return date or storyline involvement, but his recent social media activity suggests major developments may be coming soon.
The former WWE Champion took to social media to express his appreciation for the honor, which recognizes individuals with significant global impacts on Disney.
“I was really moved when I received ‘the call’ as that certain voice on the other line said I would be receiving Disney’s highest honor ~ Disney Legends Award,” The Rock wrote. “This honor recognizes individuals with significant and global impacts on Disney. I’m moved. THANK YOU.”
Rock’s Message of Gratitude
In his lengthy social media post, The Rock highlighted the values that have guided his career across entertainment and sports.
“I believe in hard work, being grateful, being humble, being good to people, taking care of people, and respecting that the trust they put in you to deliver, is sacred,” he stated.
The Hollywood star also highlighted his commitment to bringing joy to audiences worldwide. “And where and when can, always, always, always try and deliver a little joy for folks around the world.”
Recognition for Disney Team
The Rock made sure to thank specific Disney executives and employees who made the honor possible.
“Thank you Josh, Alan, Dana, Asad, David, Steve, executive teams, Imagineers, every Disney employee and cast member around the world,” he wrote.
He concluded his message with anticipation for the ceremony itself.
“Looking forward to pulling up and showing my gratitude in person at the ceremony! And course saying…YOU’RE WELCOOOOOOME #DisneyLegends.”
The Disney Legends Award represents Disney’s highest honor for individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the Disney legacy through their imagination, talent, and dreams.
Kofi Kingston recently accepted Penta’s open challenge for the Intercontinental Championship on Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden. The match was confirmed after Kingston responded to Penta’s social media post with a quote tweet that WWE’s official account reposted.
Penta announced the open challenge on Instagram and X on Saturday, posting a promotional graphic and writing:
“NYC. MSG. P0M. IC OPEN CHALLENGE!!! Porque yo no le tengo miedo A NADIE. MONDAY NIGHT RAW WILL BE A SCORCHER. Penta’s road to WrestleMania is ON!”
“No se diga mas, cabron. I would love nothing more than to walk into the depths of Hell (New York) and pry the Holy Grail (IC Title) from the vile grips of the Devil himself (Penta). See you tomorrow, amigo.”
No se diga mas, cabron.
I would love nothing more than to walk into the depths of Hell (New York) and pry the Holy Grail (IC Title) from the vile grips of the Devil himself (Penta).
The match represents Kingston’s first opportunity at the Intercontinental Title in 14 years. The former WWE Champion has held multiple tag team championships but has not captured singles gold on the main roster since his WWE Championship reign.
Penta’s Title Reign
Penta won the Intercontinental Championship from Dominik Mysterio earlier this month. He has successfully defended the title against El Grande Americano, Dragon Lee, and Mysterio.
Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden also features a Street Fight for the WWE World Tag Team Championships with The Usos defending against The Vision, plus appearances from Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk.
WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta’s focus on character work and personality has been identified as the primary reason for his greater success compared to his brother, Rey Fenix, since both arrived in WWE. The newly crowned WWE Intercontinental Champion has connected with audiences on Raw, while Fenix continues to build his career on SmackDown.
Penta captured the Intercontinental Championship on March 2nd, 2026, establishing himself as a prominent figure on the Raw roster. His brother Rey Fenix joined WWE SmackDown on April 4, 2025, but has struggled to achieve the same level of success in the midcard.
Different Paths in WWE
The contrast between the brothers’ WWE trajectories has been notable since their arrivals. Penta’s character-driven approach has resonated with fans, while Fenix has faced challenges connecting with the WWE audience despite his in-ring abilities.
While acknowledged as a top-tier athlete, Fenix’s early WWE debut was deemed more of a showcase of skills, and his early storylines lacked the immediate, high-impact focus compared to Penta.
Fenix entered the 2026 Royal Rumble at number 24 but was eliminated by Brock Lesnar. He also challenged Sami Zayn for the United States Championship on the September 12 SmackDown, but came up short.
Future Tag Team Plans
Despite their individual paths, Penta has expressed interest in reuniting with Fenix as the Lucha Bros to pursue WWE Tag Team Championships. Penta stated that Fenix is the best luchador in the world and wants to win tag team gold together.
A shoulder injury prevented Penta from teaming with Fenix for a scheduled AAA tag match in December last year. Both wrestlers remain under WWE contract on separate brands as they continue their individual runs.
Penta’s strong character work and defined personality have allowed him to quickly resonate with the audience and rise to championship status, while Fenix is still searching for that same footing despite his undeniable athleticism. With time, the right storyline, and stronger character development, Fenix has all the tools to reach the same heights as his brother.
Things are going south for Mercedes Moné as she recently lost another championship.
‘The CEO’ previously dropped both the Bodyslam Scandinavian Women’s Championship and Discovery Wrestling Women’s Championship to Alexxis Falcon at RevPro High Stakes 2026 in Wolverhampton. The losing streak has seen Moné drop multiple titles over the past month.
Mercedes Moné has now dropped the Prime Time Wrestling Women’s title on Saturday at PTW More Mone More Problems in Poland to Diana Strong. Mone had captured the title from Strong at a show on July 27, 2025, in Kozlow, Poland.
Mercedes Moné ANOTHER standing ovation after dropping her Prime Time Women’s Wrestling Title today in Poland!
Moné is now down to just three championship titles after holding multiple belts during her run as “Ultimo Moné.” She still holds the Winnipeg Pro Wrestling Women’s title, the APAC Women’s title and 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Championship.
Title Losses
Moné returned to the ring after a two-month absence on March 6, 2026, and immediately began losing championships. She dropped the CMLL World Women’s title to Persephone at Arena Mexico that night. Two days later on March 8th, she lost the BestYa Women’s title to Swan in Italy.
The losses continued on March 14th when Moné dropped the EWA Women’s title to Mila Smidt at a show in France. The RevPro double title loss on March 21st marked her fourth straight title defense failure in 2026.
What’s Next
Moné is scheduled to defend the Winnipeg Pro Wrestling Women’s title against Jody Threat on March 31st in Winnipeg. AEW will present Dynamite from Winnipeg the following night on April 1st.
Former Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch recently dropped a reality check about WWE’s future during an appearance on the Cheap Heat podcast, admitting that many of today’s biggest names may be closer to wrapping things up than fans want to believe.
During the interview, Lynch was asked about retirement and whether she has thought about how her career might end. ‘The Man’ made it clear that she isn’t stressing about stepping away anytime soon, as she expects to stay connected to wrestling in some way.
“No. You know, because I think I’ll always be involved in some capacity, you know, in some way. And so, yeah, I don’t, I don’t think I need to be worrying about the retirement world,” Lynch explained.
Lynch Points to Generational Shift
Lynch didn’t just talk about herself. She turned the focus to the bigger picture and admitted that many of WWE’s biggest stars from her generation are nearing to the later stages of their careers.
She pointed out that several well-known names who helped define WWE over the past decade may all be heading toward the same transition period around the same time.
“But I will say there’s going to be, you know, this has been, this generation has been around for a while now,” Lynch said. “And so I think a lot of us are going to be hitting that same kind of timeline.”
Future Involvement Beyond Wrestling
The former WWE Women’s World Champion highlighted that leaving the business completely isn’t something she sees happening, even when her in-ring days slow down. Lynch suggested she would remain connected to wrestling through other roles or capacities.
Her comments come as WWE continues to build new stars while veteran performers who rose to prominence during the company’s previous era remain active. Lynch has been one of WWE’s most prominent stars over the past several years, helping lead the company through major changes.
ESPN recently filed a memorandum on Friday seeking to intervene in a class-action lawsuit against WWE over Premium Live Event access claims. The motion, filed March 27th, asks the court to allow ESPN to join the case and move it into arbitration.
The original lawsuit was filed in January by two consumers in U.S. District Court in Connecticut. The plaintiffs accused WWE of deceptive marketing, alleging the company misled customers about PLE access for ESPN subscribers.
Arbitration Clause at Center of ESPN Motion
According to Brandon Thurston, the plaintiffs did not initially name ESPN as a defendant, apparently to avoid the arbitration clause in Disney’s and ESPN’s subscriber agreement. ESPN’s motion now seeks to enforce that arbitration provision.
The lawsuit seeks over $5 million and represents ESPN subscribers who paid extra for ESPN Unlimited between August 6, 2025, and before Wrestlepalooza on September 20, 2025. ESPN Unlimited costs $30 per month for customers whose providers do not include it.
Case Timeline and Next Steps
The case excludes customers of Hulu + Live TV, Spectrum, Verizon FIOS, DirecTV, or Fubo TV. WWE has until April 13, 2026 to respond to ESPN’s motion to intervene.
WWE’s deal with ESPN is worth an average of $325 million per year, up from Peacock’s $200 million. The case remains ongoing as the court considers ESPN’s request to join and move the lawsuit into arbitration.
Former Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch is making one thing clear about Mercedes Moné’s potential WWE return: the door remains wide open.
Speaking on the Cheap Heat podcast on March 28th, ‘The Man’ addressed the legacy of the Four Horsewomen and whether there’s more left to accomplish between the iconic foursome. Her response included a direct invitation for the former Sasha Banks to return.
When asked about the group’s impact and future, Becky Lynch didn’t hold back in praising their contributions to WWE.
“Honestly, I can’t disagree — that’s a great answer. We’re a great foursome. We did great work, and we’re still doing great work,” Lynch said.
Door Always Open For Mercedes
Becky Lynch then addressed the obvious elephant in the room: not all four members are currently in WWE. That’s where her comments took a notable turn regarding Moné’s potential return.
“Well, we’re not all here. You know, the door is always open to Sasha. So I think that’s one of those things you can go back to at any time, and it will always be fantastic,” Lynch stated.
The comments come as Charlotte Flair previously admitted that the Four Horsewomen aren’t as close as they once were. Becky Lynch’s invitation suggests unfinished business remains between the group that helped revolutionize women’s wrestling in WWE.
Mercedes Moné left WWE in 2022 and has since competed in both NJPW and AEW. The Four Horsewomen, consisting of Lynch, Flair, Moné, and Bayley, were instrumental in the “Women’s Revolution” that transformed WWE’s women’s division.
WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin recently added another victory to his off-road racing resume, winning the Prospector 250 in Nevada. ‘The Texas Rattlesnake’ competed in the Stock Mod Pro Class, driving a Kawasaki Teryx H2 across the desert for nearly six hours.
Kawasaki USA announced the win on social media, celebrating Austin’s breakthrough Pro victory. The company posted photos of the vehicle in action and Austin himself after the race.
“Steve Austin victorious at the Prospector 250! After nearly six hours of racing across the Nevada desert, @SteveAustinBSR supercharged his way to the Stock Mod Pro Class win—a breakthrough Pro victory for Austin, and for the Teryx4 H2,” Kawasaki USA wrote.
Steve Austin has been competing in desert races since at least 2024, when he entered the Best in the Desert Vegas to Reno race. Last year, he served as grand marshal and competed in the Mint 400, one of the sport’s most prestigious events.
The six-time WWE Champion has embraced off-road racing in his post-wrestling career. He previously skipped 3:16 Day celebrations in March to prepare his UTV for racing.
WrestleMania 42 Appearance
With WrestleMania 42 taking place April 18-19 in Las Vegas, Austin is scheduled to participate in WWE World, the fan festival held during WrestleMania weekend. The event returns to Allegiant Stadium, where Austin appeared last year to announce the attendance during night two.
Austin last wrestled at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022, defeating Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred Match. That bout marked his first match since WrestleMania 19 in 2003.
Will Ospreay is returning to in-ring action for New Japan Pro-Wrestling at Sakura Genesis on April 4th. The AEW star is set to team with United Empire’s Great-O-Khan and HENARE against Taichi, El Desperado, and Yuya Uemura.
Ospreay showed up at New Year Dash and told Callum Newman that he would be back in NJPW to help Newman guide the United Empire faction. Newman tried to attack Ospreay from behind, but fellow United Empire members stopped him.
Newman is headlining Sakura Genesis by challenging Yota Tsuji for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. This sets up an interesting dynamic with Ospreay returning to support the faction while Newman seeks the top title.
Full Sakura Genesis Card
The complete lineup for the April 4 show includes:
IWGP Heavyweight Championship: Yota Tsuji (c) vs. Callum Newman
IWGP Tag Team Championship: Knock Out Brothers (Yuto-Ice & OSKAR) (c) vs. T.M.D.K. (Zack Sabre Jr. & Ryohei Oiwa)
NJPW World Television Championship: Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. Shota Umino
NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship: Oleg Boltin, YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto (c) vs. HOUSE OF TORTURE (Ren Narita, Chase Owens & Yujiro Takahashi)
Yuya Uemura, Taichi & El Desperado vs. United Empire (Will Ospreay, Great-O-Khan & HENARE)
Ospreay’s return marks another crossover appearance between AEW and NJPW, continuing the working relationship between the promotions. His involvement with United Empire adds another layer to the faction’s storyline heading into one of NJPW’s major spring events.
WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley recently revealed the emotional impact of Hulk Hogan’s 2015 racist rant, saying the controversy involving his childhood idol left him heartbroken. He discussed the incident and their eventual reconciliation during a recent interview with VLAD TV.
Hogan’s racist remarks containing the N-word were leaked in 2015, creating widespread controversy.
Dudley’s Emotional Response
For Dudley, who idolized Hogan as a child and was inspired by him to pursue wrestling, the revelation was particularly devastating.
“It hurt really bad. I idolized that man as a kid. And to hear that broke my heart,” Dudley said. “It was like, how do I even see him again and even respect him as a man? You know, it hurt until finally we did see each other and he knew I was a little standoffish with him.”
The two wrestlers eventually crossed paths, leading to a difficult but necessary conversation. Dudley admitted he struggled to reconcile the man he admired with the person who made those remarks.
Path to Forgiveness
Hogan met with Dudley and sincerely apologized, acknowledging his wrongdoing and asking for forgiveness.
“I remember looking at him going, ‘Yeah.’ He was like, ‘Well, that’s how I felt.’ He goes, ‘When it was done, that’s how I felt.’ And then we walked away from each other,” Dudley recalled.
“We come back, and I tell him, I say, ‘Hulk, I forgive you. I don’t forget it, but I forgive you,’” Dudley explained. The WWE veteran emphasized his spiritual beliefs in choosing to forgive while making clear the remarks would not be forgotten.
Dudley’s comments come as he has been more open about addressing racism in wrestling, recently speaking about alleged racist remarks from former WWE commentator Jim Ross as well.
Former World Champion Gunther has been absent from WWE television since defeating Dragon Lee on the March 2nd, 2026 edition of Raw. His status for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas remains unclear following WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio’s injury.
As per WrestleVotes Radio on FightfulSelect.com, WWE sources indicated Gunther is still expected to have a substantial role at WrestleMania 42. However, his participation now depends on whether Rey Mysterio receives medical clearance.
Original WrestleMania Plans Derailed
Gunther’s original WrestleMania 42 plans included a feud with Dragon Lee that would culminate in a match against Rey Mysterio. Those plans were disrupted when Mysterio suffered a rib injury before the Royal Rumble.
Mysterio has not wrestled since January due to the injury. Without Mysterio’s clearance, Gunther’s WrestleMania 42 match remains in question.
Recent Activity and Absence
Gunther retired AJ Styles at the 2026 Royal Rumble in his most recent high-profile appearance. He then defeated Dragon Lee on the March 2 edition of Raw before disappearing from programming.
The former World Heavyweight Champion has not appeared on WWE television since, including missing the March 16th Raw. ‘The Ring General’ has competed in championship matches at the last three WrestleManias before 42.
Gunther lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Jey Uso last April. Two years ago, he lost the Men’s Intercontinental Championship to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania.
The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) is set to be honored as a Disney Legend at the 2026 awards ceremony, recognizing his contributions to film and voice work with the company. The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, August 16th, 2026, at the Honda Center during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
Disney announced Johnson as one of 11 honorees for the 2026 class. The ceremony will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and celebrate individuals who have made significant contributions to the Disney legacy.
Johnson’s Disney Career
The WWE superstar voiced the demigod Maui in Disney’s animated film Moana, then reprised the role in Moana 2, which grossed more than $1 billion worldwide. ‘The Great One’ will reinvent the part for the highly anticipated live-action Moana, set to release in Summer 2026.
As per Disney’s official announcement, Johnson’s career has been defined by breaking stereotypes and bold transformations. As his professional football dreams ended at 23, he became the most popular and successful wrestler of all time before transitioning to acting.
Box Office Success
Johnson made his film debut in 2001’s The Mummy Returns and landed his first leading role in The Scorpion King the following year. His films have grossed more than $15 billion globally, making him one of the top five box-office stars of all time.
The actor has appeared in more than 40 films, including reviving blockbuster franchises like Fast & Furious in 2011 and rebooting Jumanji in 2017. His recent projects include Red One (2024) and Zootopia 2 (2025).
2026 Disney Legends Class
Johnson joins 10 other honorees at the ceremony, including Chris Berman, Jerry Bruckheimer, Susan Egan, Eric Goldberg, Anne Hathaway, Bob Iger, Kim Irvine, Jonas Brothers, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Alan Tudyk. The Disney Legends Award recognizes individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the Walt Disney Company.
17-time World Champion John Cena recently found himself in an uncomfortable situation at a café when a fan skipped introductions and immediately started singing to him. He handled the awkward moment by setting clear boundaries while keeping things respectful.
The interaction, which has since gone viral, shows Cena sitting alone and scrolling on his phone when fan Harry Daniels approached and launched into a performance. Rather than engage with the impromptu serenade, Cena attempted to redirect the situation toward normal social etiquette.
“I’m gonna start with a hello, how you doing? Nice to meet you, I’m John. You like to sing now?” Cena said, trying to establish a more appropriate interaction.
When it became clear the fan was serious about continuing the performance, Cena didn’t hesitate to shut it down.
“What purpose? I’m not buying what you’re selling,” he stated plainly.
Despite the awkwardness, Cena maintained his composure throughout. He stood up, shook Daniels’ hand, and ended the interaction on his own terms without being rude or dismissive.
The video, shared on Instagram by Daniels himself, shows the difference between a genuine fan moment and being put on the spot in public. Cena demonstrated that even the most accessible superstars have the right to set boundaries when interactions cross into uncomfortable territory.
UFC legend Ronda Rousey made a surprise appearance at AEW Revolution on March 15th, 2026, confronting Toni Storm to support her longtime friend Marina Shafir. In a new YouTube vlog, Rousey revealed the appearance carried a deeper meaning beyond friendship.
It has been reported that sources within TKO and WWE believe Rousey is motivated to oppose the companies. The appearance came as Rousey prepares for her MMA return against Gina Carano on May 16, 2026.
The appearance marked Rousey’s first full AEW pay-per-view after previously working Ring of Honor shows in November 2023. She described AEW as “a less restrictive, more adult version of WWE, which sounds like a good time.”
Secret Arrival and TKO Tensions
AEW kept Rousey’s presence backstage under wraps before her appearance. She compared the secrecy to WWE’s Royal Rumble protocols.
“I was brought into the arena in a very unique — I thought this was going to be much more chill like whatever kind of day, but they’re acting like it’s freaking Royal Rumble super secret whatever. But they had me jump into a wheelchair and throw a tarp over me and wheel me in here.”
Rousey characterized her appearance as “a little bit of a ‘f*ck you’ to the TKO group,” referencing WWE’s parent company that also owns UFC.
“I kind of figured it’d be easier to ask for forgiveness instead of permission on this one. Like, I’m promoting your show. It’s fine. We didn’t advertise it. It’s not like we boosted the ratings of it, so it should be fine,” she said.
The former WWE superstar had two separate stints with the company from 2018 through 2023. Following her exit, Rousey has openly criticized both WWE and TKO.
Rousey Praises Shafir’s Wrestling Career
Rousey expressed pride in Shafir’s transition from MMA to professional wrestling.
“Marina is my best friend in the whole wide world and we grew up doing judo together as little kids. We both quit judo and started doing MMA and then we both quit MMA and started doing pro wrestling. She’s absolutely crushing it and I’m so proud of her. I’m so happy that everybody’s finally starting to take notice of how incredibly special she is.”
Rousey’s AEW appearance is not expected to lead to additional bookings in the short term. Tony Khan stated Rousey invited him to her May 16th fight against Carano, which will air live on Netflix.
WWE Superstar Tama Tonga has responded to his five-figure WWE fine after he posted restricted rehearsal footage from a recent episode of SmackDown in Phoenix, Arizona. The former two-time WWE Tag Team Champion addressed the situation on social media Friday.
As per reports, WWE issued the fine after Tonga shared a 29-second video showing the stage, aisle, and wrestlers including Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa, during rehearsals. The footage could have exposed match planning and production details that WWE keeps tightly protected.
Tonga posted the rehearsal clips before later taking them down, but a fan had already reposted the video. Tonga did not wrestle on the March 13 SmackDown but was in the corner of Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga during a tag team match.
Tonga Addresses the Fine
In a TikTok clip shared on social media, Tonga appeared to respond to the report. He stated the fine was worth it and urged fans to stay positive, accept the hit, and keep moving forward.
“It’s all good. It was worth it. I had to go to my happy place, after that shenanigans. I had to go to the world’s happiest place to get myself smiling again. I think that’s the biggest thing, when you get hit with something, you just take the hit and keep moving. You can’t let that bring you down, you know? You gotta keep on moving.
Tonga then joked that he has “been in the doghouse” his whole life and made clear the punishment would not change his mindset. He is treating the situation as something to accept rather than a major setback.
“Am I in the doghouse? I’ve been in the doghouse my whole life. No getting out of the dog house. I move in life like I’m in the dog house always.”

The incident highlights WWE’s strict policies regarding behind-the-scenes content. Rehearsal footage is considered highly sensitive as it can reveal production methods and match choreography that the company prefers to keep private.
WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura recently made some bold claims about President Donald Trump.
Ventura Doubts Trump’s Assasination Attempt
Ventura has discussed several political topics with host Piers Morgan. He questioned Trump’s legitimacy, including suggesting the July 2024 assassination attempt on Trump was staged. The wrestling veteran continues to position himself as a vocal critic of the current administration.
Morgan said at one point, “To be fair to Trump, when he got shot, he got back up and said, ‘Fight, fight, fight!’”
To that, Ventura replied, “Oh yeah, right, right, right. You ever hear of a blade job?”
The former WWE star then referred to when a wrestler cuts themselves on purpose during a match to make it look like the opponent injured them.
“A blade?” Morgan said. “What, you think it was fake?”
Ventura insisted, “I don’t know. Where’s his scar today?”
As Morgan pointed out that someone was shot and killed by the shooting at the rally, Ventura stated, of Trump, “Come on, Piers. You’re gonna tell me this guy’s a big hero now?”
Morgan then confirmed that he thought Trump was heroic, to which Ventura said, “Well, then he accomplished what he wanted out of you guys.”
