  • Zoey Stark Breaks Silence On Injury: \”The Comeback Is Greater Than The Setback\”

WWE Superstar Zoey Stark suffered an unfortunate injury during the May 19, 2025, episode of WWE Raw. The injury occurred when her knee buckled badly after she performed a missile dropkick during a high-stakes match.

Stark was immediately checked on by the ringside official. She was then carefully carried to the backstage area by WWE personnel for medical attention. Following this, the camera quickly cut away from the scene and the show went to a commercial break. When WWE Raw returned, it was clear that Stark had been removed from her Triple Threat Money in the Bank qualifying match. Her opponents in that match were Rhea Ripley and the returning Kairi Sane.

Later, Stark took to social media to give an update to WWE fans and share her feelings. She expressed her gratitude for the messages she had received.

Stark wrote, \”Wow the love and support means more to me than you\’ll ever know! What hurts more than my knee is knowing I wont be able to perform for all of you for a while. I LOVE what I do and I\’m blessed to do this. As the saying goes, the comeback is greater than the setback. Love you guys.\”

  • The Rock To Star In A24\’s ‘Breakthrough’ Film

Dwayne \”The Rock\” Johnson continues to pick a wide range of acting roles for his busy schedule. He will next work with the acclaimed studio A24 on a psychological thriller called \”Breakthrough,\” according to a new report from Deadline.

This new film project reunites him with A24 after their earlier work together on \”The Smashing Machine,\” an anticipated MMA drama that is set for release later this year.

In \”Breakthrough,\” which was written by Zeke Goodman, Johnson will take on a notable supporting part. He is set to play a very charming but manipulative motivational guru who has a hidden dark side and uses morally questionable methods. The story, set in Southern California around the early 2000s, will follow a young man who falls under this guru\’s powerful influence.

A24 is set to produce and also finance the movie, with Johnson’s own Seven Bucks Productions also on board to help co-produce. Rock hasn\’t been seen on WWE TV since Elimination Chamber when Cody Rhodes rejected his offer to be his World Champion, leading to John Cena\’s heel turn.

  • WWE Star Provides Injury Update

Apollo Crews recently gave WWE fans an encouraging update on his health through social media. He has been away from the wrestling ring since having surgery in February 2025 for a torn pectoral muscle.

Crews suffered a nasty injury during his match against Johnny Gargano on the January 24, 2025, episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Even though he won that match, the 37-year-old wrestler had to have an operation and has been out of action since then.

This past Tuesday, May 20th, Crews posted on his Instagram account, saying he was feeling good during his recovery. He mentioned that the mental part of getting over the injury was tough, even though he didn\’t have much physical pain. Crews also said he is working hard in his rehab sessions.

\”Been crushin the rehab. Feeling good,\” Crews wrote. \”I never really had any physical pain, but it took a while to get my mental game right after the injury happened. I’m over that hump now. Just waking up taking it day by day and putting in the work. ?? @carbondietcoach keeping me on top of my nutrition. ???\”

This update comes as Crews also recently passed a big career milestone, completing 10 years with WWE since his first official NXT appearance in May 2015, where he signed his contract with William Regal.

He moved to the main WWE roster in April 2016 and has since won both the United States Championship (in 2020) and the Intercontinental Championship (at WrestleMania 37 in 2021).

  • WWE Has Discussed A New Feud For Rusev

A potential new rivalry featuring two of WWE Raw\’s most physical stars, Rusev and Sheamus, is reportedly being considered behind the scenes. PWInsider.com has stated there have been \”rumblings\” within WWE about a program being pitched that would see \”The Bulgarian Brute\” go up against \”The Celtic Warrior.\”

Rusev made his return to WWE in April 2025, joining the Raw roster and immediately reminding WWE fans of his presence. Sheamus also made his own impactful return to Raw in early May 2025 after some time away, looking ready for intense competition. A feud between these two hard-hitting former United States Champions would promise some physical and exciting matches for the Monday night show.

While the report from PWInsider makes it clear that this is currently an idea that has been \”pitched\” and not a confirmed plan, the prospect of these two veterans battling it out is something many wrestling fans would likely want to see. Such a program could add a significant, hard-hitting feud to the Raw landscape in the coming weeks or months if WWE decides to move forward with the idea.

  • WWE SmackDown\’s Third Hour May Continue Longer Than Expected

WWE Friday Night SmackDown could continue its three-hour format on the USA Network into early June 2025.

According to a report from PWInsider.com, internal listings at the USA Network still show SmackDown scheduled for three-hour episodes during that period.

This is noteworthy because the original understanding when SmackDown moved to USA Network and expanded its runtime earlier this year was that it would go back to a two-hour show by early summer. Many WWE fans had been anticipating this return to the shorter format, as it\’s the traditional length for the blue brand.

The three-hour episodes, while offering more content, have been seen by some as occasionally stretching the show. The current internal USA Network listing for three-hour SmackDowns in early June now raises questions about whether WWE has decided to extend the longer runtime.

While it\’s possible this is just an old schedule that hasn\’t been updated yet, it also might mean that the company is pleased with the three-hour version or has other programming reasons for keeping it. WWE fans will be looking for official word as June approaches to see if SmackDown will indeed stick with the extended format or revert to two hours as first planned.

  • Willow Nightingale Confirms New Multi-Year AEW Contract

Willow Nightingale isn\’t planning on going anywhere else. She confirmed that she has officially signed a new multi-year contract to remain with AEW, a move that keeps one of its most beloved talents with the promotion for the foreseeable future.

This news follows an earlier report this month from Fightful Select, which first indicated that Nightingale had agreed to terms on a new deal before her previous one was set to expire. Nightingale herself verified this during a sit-down interview with The TakeDown on SI, where she expressed her happiness and belief in both her own potential within AEW and the company\’s ongoing growth.

\”That is true, yes. I am happy where I am,\” Nightingale told The Takedown. \”I think there is so much left ahead for me to do at AEW, things that I want to accomplish.\”

She also shared her deep excitement about being an integral part of AEW’s journey and development: \”But also, I\’m just really excited to be a part of something when it’s fresh and new and, like, you know, I think we’re past the years of finding our footing. But to have been a part of that and continue to water and watch it grow is just a privilege as well as a joy, you know? So I’m excited to continue, to take part in that.”

Nightingale initially signed with AEW in 2022 and has become a key figure on both AEW and Ring of Honor television. She is a former AEW TBS Champion and is reportedly currently involved in a significant storyline with the Death Riders group.

  • Lyra Valkyria Shares When She Was Told About WWE Women\’s Intercontinental Title Win

Lyra Valkyria discussed her experience becoming the  WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, revealing she wasn\’t part of any creative discussions beforehand and only learned of the major career moment on the day of the show.

Valkyria won the inaugural WWE Women\’s Intercontinental Championship by defeating Dakota Kai in a tournament final on the January 13, 2025, episode of Raw. This made her the first-ever woman to hold the title.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Valkyria shared her feelings about holding the championship. \”[It’s brought me] A lot of confidence, it\’s a big responsibility, and there\’s a lot of pressure that comes with it,\” she said. \”But I think I\’m kind of in control once I get in the ring… No one can take that away.\”

When asked when she first heard about winning the title, she explained, \”I never was a part of that conversation. I just find out on Mondays what I\’m doing. I found out the day of. I was never a part of the decision or the conversation. I just showed up to work.\”

Describing her reaction, Valkyria stated, \”Amazing. I couldn\’t believe it… it never hits me in the moment. It hit me when I was driving home… The title is just sitting in my bag… and I\’m like, Oh yeah, that\’s the Intercontinental Championship. I won that.\”

  • Bray Wyatt\’s Son Becomes \”The Fiend\” For Birthday In Heartwarming Tribute

Well-known special effects artist Jason Baker recently shared a very touching story. He helped make a special birthday wish come true for Knash Rotunda, the young son of the late wrestling star Windham Rotunda, who was famously known to WWE fans as Bray Wyatt.

Moved by the idea, Baker and his colleague Sandy Mimpson immediately started working to make the boy’s wish happen. To make Knash\’s costume truly special and real, Baker noted they used the \”Mask from Bray’s original mold.\” The costume itself, made by Sandy Mimpson, was based on the original \”Fiend\” gear that Windham Rotunda wore.

Baker posted on social media that Jojo Offerman, Knash’s mother and Windham\’s partner, contacted him with a request straight from the heart. \”I had the honor of doing something that is so close to my heart that I’m still fighting back tears while writing this,” Baker wrote.

He added, “I got a call from Jojo wanting to fulfill Knash’s birthday wish, which was to dress up like his dad @Windham6 for his birthday party.” Baker ended his post with a warm message, “We love you Knash and Hope you had the best birthday ever!” and then added Bray Wyatt’s iconic call to “LET HIM IN! ??”.

Callosum Studios, Baker\’s company, was a big part of creating the look of \”The Fiend.\”

  • WWE Has Strong Interest In International Star

WWE is reportedly showing \”significant interest\” in signing an international wrestling star to a contract. This development follows company tryouts held in London during WWE’s Road to WrestleMania European tour in late March 2025, which looked at many hopefuls from Europe.

While earlier news mentioned that English wrestlers Man Like DeReiss and Rhio did well at the tryout, a new update has come from Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan. Brennan reports that WWE has in in adding Spanish talent Zozaya to its roster after his strong performance at the London tryout and is actively \”pursuing\” him.

According to Fightful, sources close to Zozaya said the star from Madrid is due to finish his University studies in June 2025. It is also believed within WWE that any new talent signed from this particular tryout group would likely start working with the company around September of this year.

Zozaya is not new to the wrestling world, as he made his in-ring debut back in 2018. Since then, he has gained a lot of experience by wrestling for several well-known promotions, including Pro Wrestling NOAH, RevPro, CMLL, and PROGRESS Wrestling, among others. More news on Zozaya\’s future with WWE and any other possible signings from the London tryouts is expected as it becomes known.

  • Zoey Stark Injured In WWE Raw Match

An unfortunate situation happened on the May 19, 2025, episode of WWE Raw. It occurred during a significant Money in the Bank qualifying match involving WWE Superstar Zoey Stark, who suffered an injury.

Stark fought hard in a high-stakes Triple Threat match against two top opponents. Those opponents were the recently returned Kairi Sane and the former Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley.

The stipulation for the winner of this match was a spot in the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match, which gives the winner a chance for a future championship.

Stark went for a missile dropkick from the top rope during the fast-paced and intense action. However, she had a very bad and awkward-looking landing from the move, which immediately caused concern.

Following this rough landing, Zoey Stark seemed unable to continue wrestling on her own. WWE medical staff and company officials quickly came to ringside to check on her. She was then carefully helped to the backstage area so medical personnel could look at her more closely.

The exact type or seriousness of any injury Zoey Stark might have is not known at this moment. We wish her a speedy recovery.

  • Roxanne Perez Officially Joins WWE Raw Roster

Former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez has officially been called up to the WWE Raw main roster. The news was shared on social media just before the May 19, 2025, episode of WWE Raw was set to begin.

In a video WWE put out for WWE fans, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was shown giving Perez a Raw contract, which she then signed, making her move official. Perez is set to jump right into action on the May 19th Raw broadcast. She will compete in a tough Triple Threat Money in the Bank qualifying match against Natalya and \”The Man\” Becky Lynch.

Many have expected this official move to the Raw brand for some time. Perez made impressive appearances on the main roster earlier in 2025, including at the Royal Rumble and qualifying for a spot in the WWE Elimination Chamber match back in February. After WWE WrestleMania, she briefly teamed up with Giulia, but that partnership ended when Giulia moved to the WWE SmackDown roster last week.

Before she signed with WWE in 2022, Perez had a very good run in Ring of Honor (ROH), where she made history as the first-ever ROH Women’s Champion. Once in NXT, she quickly became a top star, winning the NXT Women’s Championship twice and also holding the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles with Cora Jade.

  • Shawn Michaels Reveals His Wrestling Mount Rushmore

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels recently shared his personal choices for a wrestling Mount Rushmore. He did this during an interview with \”Going Ringside,\” and his selections mostly honor the classic wrestlers he watched growing up, mainly from the late 1970s and mid-1980s.

When asked to pick his top four, the \”Heartbreak Kid\” said it was not an easy thing to do, feeling that such lists often come down to personal taste. \”Yeah, I guess. I mean, I don’t know. To me, I’ve always felt like there’s — I don’t know — they’re just your personal favorites, I think,” Michaels stated. He then added, “But I, yeah, I’ve got a few I guess, but mine, you know, date back to usually the mid 80s or late 70s.”

When asked for actual names for his prestigious list, Michaels quickly identified his first three clear choices without hesitation. “I always put Terry Funk in there. I usually put Harley Race in there, Ric Flair.”

However, picking the fourth and final legend for his wrestling mountain proved to be a harder decision for him. “That fourth one’s always a little tough for me,\” Michaels explained. \”It sort of goes to Tully Blanchard because that’s who I grew up with or Wahoo McDaniel.\”

  • WWE Pulls In Millions From Six Live Events

WWE brought in more than $13.2 million from the ticket sales of just six live shows held in late March and early April 2025. Post Wrestling via Pollstar reported the news on Monday.

This big success comes from a very popular time for the company and TKO\’s new ticket pricing strategy, which has led to many shows making over a million dollars each.

These events were part of a wider, successful European tour in March that included twelve events in total, featuring three episodes each of WWE Raw and WWE Friday Night SmackDown. According to Pollstar, a group that reports on the event industry, WWE saw huge earnings from these specific dates, highlighting the strong demand from WWE fans.

Several individual shows made impressive amounts. For example, the WWE Raw show at London\’s O2 Arena on March 31st made an amazing $3.58 million from 14,816 tickets sold. Other big successes included Friday Night SmackDown in Glasgow, Scotland, which brought in over $2.6 million, and another SmackDown in London that made $2.8 million.

Upon returning to the U.S., a SmackDown show in Rosemont, Illinois, on April 4th also made nearly $2.3 million. Pollstar confirmed the total from these six specific shows alone was $13,298,774.

  • \’I Could Have Bought A New Car\’: MVP On His Past WWE Weed Fines

WWE started its wellness program in 2006 to test for steroids and other drugs that wrestlers might misuse. At first, WWE did not test for marijuana, but later added it, fining superstars rather than suspending them for failed tests.

On his Marking Out podcast, former WWE United States Champion MVP shared how he handled these rules. He explained:

\”When the wellness policy started at WWE, initially, they only tested for steroids and hard drugs; they didn\’t test for cannabis. Then, as I recall, all the pillheads started complaining… They added cannabis, but it wasn\’t a suspension; it was just a $1000 Fine.\”

MVP, making good money at the time, even offered a unique solution:

\”I went to John Laurinaitis and said, \’Can I just give you a $12,000 check for the year? I\’m gonna smoke.\’\”

Eventually, WWE raised the fine to $2,500.

\”Finally, after a couple of $2,500 fines, plus the numerous $1,000 fines….I could have bought a new car for these fines for weed. I finally stopped smoking for a while,\” MVP said.

Today, marijuana is not on WWE\’s banned substance list.

  • \”They Were So Mad\” – Logan Paul On Those Who Wanted Him To Be Released By WWE

Logan Paul says that some people are not happy he kept his job during the recent WWE talent releases. Earlier in May 2025, WWE let go of several superstars, and others were told their contracts would not be renewed. This news caused some WWE fans to be upset about wrestlers leaving the company, and Paul believes a lot of that anger has been aimed at him.

Speaking on his \”Impaulsive\” podcast, the social media star talked about the WWE releases. He said that some people wished he had been one of the superstars cut from the roster.

Paul stated, “Some people are mad I didn’t get fired in the last round of WWE releases, they let a lot of people go. Not your boy. They were mad about that. The way I see it, you can’t let go a future world heavyweight champion…. That would just be ridiculous.”

Despite some fans\’ negative feelings, Paul remains confident in his WWE status and future ambitions. He is scheduled to appear on tonight\’s  WWE Monday Night Raw episode.

  • Liv Morgan Wraps Filming Takashi Miike\’s \”Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo,\” Praised For Acting

Liv Morgan has completed filming her scenes for the highly anticipated movie “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo,” directed by the renowned Japanese filmmaker Takashi Miike.

This project marks Morgan\’s first significant dramatic acting role, and according to a PWInsider report, she made a great impression. Sources close to the production revealed that Morgan “absolutely ‘crushed’” her role, being described as a “complete natural on the set.” They added she was able to “easily transition from the pro wrestling space to filming for a movie,” and reportedly “blew everyone, including experienced industry veterans, away with her work.”

In “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo,” Morgan portrays the daughter of a politician whose disappearance draws an FBI agent (Lily James) into an investigation alongside a corrupt Tokyo cop (Shun Oguri). Visionary director Takashi Miike, known for cult classics like \”Audition\” and \”Ichi the Killer,\” discussed the project:

“A team of incredibly talented actors and crew has gathered in Tokyo. Now. I’m about to throw a fastball straight down the middle of your strike zone – no tricks, no gimmicks. Get ready for the ride with us.”

This role, under such a celebrated director and alongside established actors, represents a significant leap in Liv Morgan\’s acting career beyond the squared circle.

  • Hulk Hogan And His Company Want To Acquire Hooters

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan’s company, Real American Brands, is reportedly aiming to acquire the intellectual property and branding of the Hooters restaurant chain. First reported by TMZ Sports, the move is part of Hogan’s mission to bring back the iconic American brands that embody “freedom, grit and good times.”

Real American Brands sees Hooters as a prime candidate for this revival. “Hooters is more than just wings and nostalgia — it’s part of the American story,” a company representative told TMZ Sports. “We see enormous potential to modernize the brand without losing its bold identity.”

They added that under their guidance, Hooters would \”return to the spotlight as a symbol of unfiltered Americana — fun, fearless, and proudly American.” This bid emerges as Hooters of America, an entity operating the restaurants, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March 2025. Hogan’s interest, first noted in April 2025, was described by his camp as a “perfect match.”

If Real American Brands’ all-cash bid succeeds, they reportedly plan to license the Hooters name back to operators, as Hogan isn\’t looking to manage the physical locations. This acquisition would be a \”big step\” for Real American Brands, which recently launched Real American Beer.

  • \”It\’s Not Okay\”: Sheamus On WWE WrestleMania Absence

Sheamus returned to WWE television on the May 5th episode of WWE Raw, following a notable absence that stemmed from his appearance in the men\’s Royal Rumble match earlier this year. While he competed at several live events in March, the multi-time world champion was missing from WrestleMania 41.

In a candid interview with Alex McCarthy of Daily Mail, Sheamus shared his feelings about being sidelined for WWE\’s biggest event of the year.

\”I was gutted that I wasn’t at Mania,\” Sheamus revealed. \”The last appearance that I had was at the Rumble. I want to be in the mix. I want to be there. I’m more passionate now about my job than I ever have been. Some of the guys are like, \’You’ve been at so many WrestleMania’s, so it’s okay.\’ But it’s not okay. I love what I do. I love going out there in front of a crowd. I love putting on banger after banger. I love that intensity. I love setting the bar so high that everybody including the main event guys who have months and months to prepare are trying to catch up with me. Until the wheels come off and I can’t do it anymore I want to go out there. I don’t want to miss anything and I don’t want to miss a WrestleMania. It was tough. I’m not going to lie, it was really really hard.\”

While Sheamus watched from home, Dominik Mysterio captured the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41, winning a competitive four-way match against Bron Breakker, Penta, and Finn Balor. This title holds immense significance for \”The Celtic Warrior\” as he has never won it.

\”I had pitched to hopefully get in the Intercontinental title stuff again. They’re probably tired about me talking about it but that’s the one title that I have left to become the first ever ultimate Grand Slam Champion in WWE. That’s the Holy Grail, that’s it,\” Sheamus explained. He reiterated his profound disappointment at not being involved: \”But I wasn’t happy sitting at home. I don’t want to miss WrestleMania I don’t want to go there and not be part of the biggest show of the year. It’s tough for me. I don’t care, if you have passion for what you do you don’t want to miss that.\”

  • Jeff Cobb Given New WWE Ring Name

The powerhouse formerly known to many wrestling fans as Jeff Cobb has officially received his new WWE ring name. Revealed on this week\’s episode of WWE SmackDown, the superstar will now be known as JC Mateo.

Despite being referred to as Jeff Cobb by commentary during his impactful debut at WWE Backlash earlier this month, the change was signaled during SmackDown\’s opening segment when Solo Sikoa introduced him merely as \”JC.\” WWE later confirmed the full name, JC Mateo, via an official YouTube upload following the segment.

WWE had filed a trademark for \”JC Mateo\” on May 10, the very night he made his surprise appearance at Backlash. On SmackDown, He was attacked by an irate LA Knight, who was seeking revenge after Mateo interfered in his WWE United States Championship match at WWE Backlash.

Mateo\’s interference helped Jacob Fatu retain the title against Knight. You can check out the segment below:

  • Plans For AEW Anarchy In The Arena

The anticipation for AEW\’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view is building, with one match in particular promising utter chaos: Anarchy in the Arena. The build-up itself has been nothing short of anarchy, leaving many fans eagerly speculating about the participants in this no-holds-barred match.

Sources within AEW have provided Fightful Select with an expected lineup for the highly anticipated match. While the card is always subject to change, current indications point towards an interesting lineup. The teams are shaping up as follows: Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale, Kenny Omega, Samoa Joe, and Powerhouse Hobbs are slated to join forces, facing off against the formidable alliance of the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), Jon Moxley, Gabe Kidd, and Marina Shafir.

Katsuyori Shibata and Claudio Castagnoli could very well be added to their respective sides. While the involvement of HOOK and Wheeler Yuta wasn’t confirmed to Fightful Select, the possibility remains open should they be available, further underscoring the unpredictable nature of Anarchy in the Arena.

Interestingly, Fightful Select also learned that a significant Continental Championship match is expected to feature \”Speedball\” Mike Bailey taking on Kazuchika Okada. While this high-stakes singles contest is anticipated to occur earlier in the evening, the possibility of either Bailey or Okada making a cameo appearance during the Anarchy in the Arena match later on has not been ruled out.

  • Oba Femi: “I’m Not A Fan Of Anyone On The Main Roster”

NXT North American Champion Oba Femi is already looking ahead, and when he watches WWE\’s main roster shows like Raw and SmackDown, it’s strictly business, not fandom. In a recent interview with Jim Varsallone, the dominant champion explained his approach to observing those already at the pinnacle of the sport.

Femi made it clear that watching the main roster is a crucial part of his development and planning for what\’s ahead.

“As a student of the game. As a scholar of the sport, I have to watch. I definitely don’t watch from the perspective of a fan anymore. Because let\’s be real, a lot of these guys I’m gonna be shoulder-to-shoulder with them in a couple of years, maybe a couple of months.

This shift in perspective is a core part of his formidable mindset. Femi sees himself on an inevitable collision course with WWE\’s top stars and is preparing accordingly.

“I’m not a fan of anyone on the main roster. I’m Oba Femi, you’re competition now,\” he declared. \”So I watch from a different perspective, not that of a fan, but of a Warrior seeking to prepare.”

  • \”That Would Be Amazing\”: Saraya Hopes To Tag With AJ Lee Again

Saraya, known to WWE fans as Paige, is already envisioning exciting future matches, including a potential tag team reunion with former three-time Divas Champion AJ Lee. Following her departure from AEW in March, Saraya discussed her dream matchups on a recent episode of Women’s Wrestling Talk.

While she might be taking some time away from the ring, Saraya has a clear list of talent she\’d love to work with. She first named current AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné: “First of all, it would be Mercedes, of course. I feel like that’s a built-in story.\” She also expressed interest in facing or teaming with WWE\’s Rhea Ripley, saying, \”Then I would love to face Rhea or be in a tag with Rhea… The first goth going against the modern goth, it’d be really great.”

However, a reunion with Lee, with whom she teamed in WWE during 2014, is something she\’s interested in. “I would love to tag with AJ again down the road. I feel like that would be amazing,\” Saraya stated. She added, \”I just want to wrestle everybody,\” also mentioning names like Natalya, Nikki Bella, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, and Trinity.

Saraya has confirmed the door remains open for a potential AEW return.

  • WWE International Supershows Planned

Following WWE\’s acquisition of Mexico-based promotion AAA, announced at WrestleMania 41, new details are emerging about the company\’s expansion plans in the region. According to a recent report from WrestleVotes, WWE is organizing multiple live events in Mexico \”in the near future.\”

These live events will reportedly be centered around a major featured attraction, dubbed a \”SuperShow Mexico\” event. While specific dates and locations for this \”SuperShow\” and the accompanying tour are still being finalized, the plans indicate a push into the Mexican market.

This development is noteworthy given WWE\’s recent strategy of reducing its overall number of domestic live events, with TKO executives stating the company will \”continue to prune\” its touring schedule. These new Mexico shows signal a targeted international expansion.

The move builds on existing crossover opportunities, such as Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo and several TNA Wrestling champions (including Joe Hendry) being announced for AAA\’s Triplemania Regia on June 15. Furthermore, WWE Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega has publicly pitched defending her title in AAA.
