  • R-Truth Cuts Off His Hair During WWE Raw Segment

The reinvention of Ron Killings took a dramatic turn on tonight\’s episode of WWE RAW. Days after his shocking return at Money in the Bank, the man formerly known as R-Truth delivered an intense promo.

Addressing the WWE fans for the first time since attacking John Cena in the main event of Money in the Bank, Killings acknowledged the fan support that brought him back but quickly shifted to a more serious tone. The segment in a stunning moment when Killings took a pair of scissors and cut off his signature braids in the middle of the ring.

As the crowd chanted in disbelief, he looked directly into the camera to make a definitive statement. “The truth has set me free—I am Ron Killings,” he declared.

This act marks a clear end to the comedic R-Truth character. Killings finished by demanding respect and making it clear he is no longer here to entertain with jokes. This truly ushers in a new era for him.

  • Bayley Returns On WWE Raw

Bayley made her surprise return to WWE television on tonight\’s episode of Monday Night RAW, immediately targeting the new Women\’s Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch.

During a in-ring segment, Lynch was discussing her championship win at Money in the Bank before calling out a frustrated Lyra Valkyria. As the two were about to confront each other, Bayley stormed the ring and attacked Lynch from behind.

This was Bayley\’s first appearance since the April 14th episode of RAW. She had been written off television after suffering a brutal post-match assault at the hands of Lynch, which was done to explain her absence.

Now, the former WWE Women\’s Champion is back and has made it clear she is seeking revenge on Lynch. • CM Punk vs. John Cena Set For WWE Night Of Champions

Tonight\’s episode of WWE RAW opened with a fiery confrontation between Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and his top challenger, CM Punk. The promo segment set up their main event match for the Night of Champions premium live event on June 28.

Coming to the ring to address the controversial return of R-Truth, CM Punk immediately took aim at Cena\’s new corporate persona.

\”If they want the truth, they\’re going to get Ron Killings,\” Punk declared, intentionally using R-Truth\’s real name to ground the segment in reality. He continued, \”I\’m not standing for TKO, I\’m not here to defend billionaires, I\’m here to defend the people.”

Punk claimed that he never wanted to challenge for the WWE Championship upon his return because he was scared of what holding the title turns a man into, referencing his own acclaimed heel run in 2012. He accused the championship of having corrupted Cena, just as it once corrupted him.

\”You screamed \’I’m sorry\’ because you knew then and you damn well know now that what you are doing is not right,\” Punk said, referencing a past encounter between the two.

In order to defeat the corporate \”monster\” that Cena has become, Punk said he must become a monster himself. He then issued a direct challenge.

\”I\’m going to leave it up to John Cena to figure out what date he takes that title off his shoulder,\” Punk said. \”If he\’s not a coward, that date is tonight.\”

Cena, however, declined to have the match on RAW, officially announcing that their championship encounter will take place in Saudi Arabia. \”Punk is going to follow me to Saudi Arabia at Night of Champions,\” Cena stated.

  • WWE Planning Major Push For SmackDown Star Ahead Of Evolution

With the all-women\’s premium live event, Evolution, just weeks away, WWE is expected to begin building major storylines on tonight\’s RAW.

According to PWInsiderElite, an early plan for the July 13th show in Atlanta is a match between Jade Cargill and the new Ms. Money in the Bank, Naomi. To help promote the event, a big push is expected for Cargill, using her as a regional draw to help move tickets.

After her win on Saturday, Naomi said she wanted a match with Cargill before cashing in on champion Tiffany Stratton. A match between the two powerhouse stars presents a unique booking challenge, especially given the momentum from Naomi\’s current heel run.

Adding to the build for Evolution, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella returns to RAW tonight. She is expected to be heavily involved in a significant storyline for the July pay-per-view.

Sheamus recently confirmed that the tag team name he used with Drew McIntyre in 2023, The Banger Bros., was quickly scrapped by WWE.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Sheamus reflected on the short-lived tag team and its popular, yet problematic, name. The duo came together in early 2023 ahead of their acclaimed Triple Threat match against GUNTHER at WrestleMania 39.

\”Remember the Banger Brothers? The thing back in the day me and Drew McIntyre. The Banger Brothers,\” Sheamus said. \”That got shut down real fast, by the way.\”

  • \”As Long As It\’s Fun\”: Big E Opens Up On His Future With WWE

Former WWE Champion Big E has found a new role in WWE as a broadcaster while his in-ring future remains uncertain.

Big E has been sidelined since March 2022 after fracturing his C1 and C6 vertebrae from a botched move, with doctors advising him against a return to wrestling. After a brief on-screen appearance during the New Day’s 10-year anniversary, he was turned on by his former partners, completing their heel turn.

In a recent interview with The Sporting Tribune, Big E explained his move to commentary was unplanned.

“It’s interesting because I never really had designs on being a broadcaster,\” he said. \”They (WWE) called me to be part of the press conference in Vegas with The Rock a year or so ago. It was a lot of fun, I said, you know what, I’ll keep doing this as long as it’s fun. So, I’ve enjoyed it.”

He added, \”As long as it continues to be fun, I still wanna be here.”

  • \”I\’ll Bring Silence\”: GUNTHER Issues Warning Ahead Of Jey Uso Rematch

Ahead of his World Heavyweight Championship rematch against Jey Uso on WWE Raw, GUNTHER took to Instagram with a simple promise: “Let them cheer. I’ll bring silence.”

The match is GUNTHER\’s first one-on-one opportunity to reclaim the title he lost to Uso at WrestleMania 41, where he shockingly tapped out. In the weeks following that loss, a frustrated GUNTHER was met with \”you tapped out\” chants from WWE fans.

His frustration boiled over when he attacked commentators Michael Cole and Pat McAfee on Raw, locking Cole in a sleeper hold before brawling with McAfee. The attack led to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce suspending GUNTHER indefinitely for his \”unacceptable conduct.\”

GUNTHER later beat Pat McAfee at Backlash in a one-sided bout. Uso is coming off a win alongside Cody Rhodes over WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul at Money in the Bank.

Now reinstated, The Ring General looks to end Jey Uso\’s reign and recapture the championship he held for a historic period. There is speculation that this match may lead to GUNTHER\’s rumored showdown with Goldberg at Saturday Night\’s Main Event next month.

This feeling continued up to her final match. \”I think it was my last actual match there was I wrestled Sol Ruca on a live event. I just knew… that it was going to be my last time there,\” she recalled. \”I took a long time afterwards. I signed autographs, which I never really do because I\’m a heel… But I knew that. I was like, well, that\’s a wrap. Sure as hell it was a week later.\”

Since her release, Black has commented on her future, including the possibility of joining AEW.

“My thing is everyone get off of social media and don’t listen to any of it because it’s all false. Everything I’ve seen about me is false. I didn’t want to address this. I thought it would just go away. I didn’t want to draw attention to it because if I said something, then it might draw more attention, and I just didn’t want that. But it just keeps going. I will say it like it is. As far as X, Instagram, and TikTok, and my I’ve never changed any of them recently. The last time I changed my Twitter profile was probably five years ago. It still says Twitter on it. It doesn’t say X. I haven’t changed that in five years. I haven’t unfollowed WWE at all. WWE and I are in very good standings. We just dropped Miz Golf, which is part of WWE’s YouTube.”

The Miz is currently away from WWE to fholm American Gladiators for Prime Video. He serves as the host of the show.

\”I had a meeting with AEW and wished them continued success,\” Shane said. While they are currently aligned on WWE Raw as part of a dominant new faction, Seth Rollins recently shared a surprising and heartfelt insight into Paul Heyman that he says WWE fans might not be aware of.

During an interview with Kay Adams on the Up & Adams show, Rollins was asked to reveal a secret about his on-screen manager. \”Paul\’s a great dad,\” Rollins said.

\”That\’s something that people may not know about him. I don\’t want to blow your spot Paul E, but you\’re a pretty good dad, dude. Loves his kids more than anything in the world. I\’ve known Paul now for almost 15 years, so I\’ve watched his kids grow from little tykes to now they\’re like full grown people.\”

  • Bishop Dyer Thinks R-Truth\’s WWE Release Shows Loyalty No Longer Matters In TKO Era

Former WWE star Bishop Dyer, previously known as Baron Corbin, has commented on the recent departure of R-Truth. The former WWE star thinks it\’s a sign of a major cultural shift within WWE under TKO Group Holdings where talent loyalty is no longer important.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Dyer compared the current environment with the previous regime. \”Say what you want about Vince, Vince cared about his talent and he cared about the fans,\” Dyer stated.

\”Guys like Taker, someone who’s been loyal. When you watch Vince talk about Taker, he starts crying because he loves him and his loyalty. R-Truth has been nothing but loyal, he’s done everything that’s ever been asked. He’s gotten everything to work, even some sh*t that’s really questionable over the years, he’s made very entertaining.\”

Dyer believes this sends a clear message to the current locker room. \”I think for the locker room, they’re gonna come to a harsh realization that loyalty no longer matters,\” he said. \”I think that it has become what the NFL a little bit is, a paper league, in my opinion, where it’s no longer about the person, it’s about what’s on paper.”

Shotzi made her surprise return to the independent wrestling scene on Friday, June 6, 2025, appearing at Hoodslam\’s \”Fearless\” event in Oakland, California. This was her first in-ring appearance since her WWE contract was not renewed in May.

The match is available for viewing on TrillerTV. Shotzi\’s WWE departure came after a six-year run with the company. With her non-compete period over, she is already scheduled for a GCW tour of Japan in late July and an appearance at MLW’s Summer of the Beasts event on June 26th.

The appearance marked a full-circle moment for the star, now using her full \”Shotzi Blackheart\” name, as she returned to the promotion where she began her career in 2014.

  • Drew McIntyre Confirms He Walked Out Of 2025 Royal Rumble

Drew McIntyre has commented on reports from the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble, where he was reportedly screaming and cursing backstage and stormed out of the building over frustrations with the men\’s Rumble match.

Speaking on the Gorilla Position podcast, McIntyre confirmed he did indeed leave the arena. He explained it\’s his way of handling his temper professionally.

\”I will tell you that I was not happy. I invented a few swear words, and then I left the building,\” McIntyre stated. \”I left the building because I’m a professional… I blow up big time every couple of years, but every time I get upset, it somehow makes the internet because it’s such a scene. Generally, I don’t, but my thing is, I’m going to leave the building.”

He detailed his reasoning for walking away from a volatile situation. “I would walk down and punch somebody in the face, because that’s who I am. But I’m also professional, so I’d rather take myself out of this situation because I know how bad my temper is,\” he explained.

\”And sometimes, when you calm down, things are not as they seem. So I’ve learned to just walk away. That’s the adult thing to do.\” He then added his final thought on the process: \”Calm down, look at the things, and then, if you still feel the same, knock somebody out.”

  • WWE Announces Rare US House Shows

WWE has added a rare domestic, non-televised live event to its summer schedule. The company has announced a \”WWE Supershow\” for Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.

This marks a notable addition to the calender. WWE has significantly reduced the amount of house shows it runs aside from international dates and the annual Christmas season tour in the US.

This Texas live event takes place just one week after AEW’s All In: Texas pay-per-view and WWE’s own major weekend in Atlanta, which includes NXT Great American Bash, Saturday Night’s Main Event, and Evolution 2.

The Supershow, which will feature wrestlers from both Raw and SmackDown, is conveniently scheduled between a SmackDown taping in San Antonio on July 18th and a Raw taping in Houston on July 21st. Advertised stars for the event include \”Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Gunther, Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa, Tiffany Stratton, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods.\”

  • Possible Reason For Personal Issues Between Triple H & MVP

AEW\’s MVP recently discussed his issues with WWE Chief Content Officer Paul \”Triple H\” Levesque, stating in a recent interview with BetIdeas that he has \”zero respect\” for him.

According to a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, one past instance of issues between them involved a storyline where Triple H pitched an angle for MVP to be mesmerized by Eve Torres.

MVP reportedly pushed back, arguing his \”million-dollar athlete\” character wouldn\’t act that way, a response Levesque \”wasn\’t happy with at all.\” MVP has also stated that Triple H turned down a reformation of The Hurt Business in WWE. The group has since reformed in AEW as The Hurt Syndicate.

Despite his critiques of WWE\’s booking, MVP clarified in the interview that the problems are personal, not racial. MVP used his former Hurt Business stablemate Bobby Lashley as an example of his booking concerns under Triple H.

\”Let’s just say this, Bobby Lashley was a two-time WWE Champion, and after he took over, Bobby Lashley was reduced to the mid-card.\”

When addressing fans who think he\’s just \”griping,\” MVP said, “Okay, well just watch the program. Who were the people in the top spots under his leadership? Who were given the opportunities?… I’m talking about the main show.”

However, MVP made it clear his core issues are personal. “I’ll be honest with you, my issues with him have nothing to do with race. My issues have to do with him as a person and our personal interactions and things that he said and did that caused me to have zero respect for him,” MVP stated, promising to detail these issues on his own show.

  • The Miz Is Going On Hiatus From WWE TV

WWE Superstar The Miz is reportedly taking time off from Friday Night SmackDown to take on a significant television hosting role. The Miz will be hosting the new incarnation of the classic competition show, American Gladiators.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Miz will be leaving for London soon to film the show. This new version is set to feature a team of elite athletes competing in classic games like “Gauntlet” and “Hang Tough,” as well as new events.

This hosting opportunity explains recent on-screen tension between The Miz and his new tag team partner, Carmelo Hayes, on SmackDown, likely serving as a storyline reason for his temporary departure from WWE programming.

The Miz has previously hosted shows like \”Cannonball\” and starred in the reality series \”Miz & Mrs.\” alongside his wife, Maryse. His return date to WWE is currently unknown.

There has been speculation that The Miz may be exiting WWE soon after the recent talent cuts and him removing all mentions of WWE from his social media accounts. Fightful Select confirmed earlier this week that Miz is still under contract with WWE.

  • Mike Tenay Was Considered For Upcoming WWE Event

The full broadcast team for tomorrow\’s WWE x AAA Worlds Collide special event on Saturday, June 7, 2025, has been kept quiet, but details have come out about who will—and who won\’t—be involved.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE had internal discussions about bringing in a classic voice for the inter-promotional event. There had been discussion of Mike Tenay regarding announcing the show.

That is because he started his announcing career doing When Worlds Collide in 1994. However, he clarified Tenay’s current status: “But I can’t confirm if he was contacted. But as best as I can tell, he’s not at this point scheduled to do the show.”

Longtime WWE announcer Lillian Garcia will be doing the ring introductions for the show in Los Angeles. Meltzer noted that the former English-language announcers for AAA, Joe Dombrowski and Larry Dallas, are also not doing the show.

AAA Mega Championship: El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Chad Gable is expected to headline the show that airs on YouTube.

  • AEW\’s Rebel Reveals She Underwent Surgery To Remove A Tumor

AEW personality Rebel, the long-time on-screen ally of Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., has broken her silence regarding her extended absence from television. Rebel revealed she recently underwent surgery to remove a tumor.

Rebel has not been part of AEW programming since an episode of AEW Dark in August 2022, an absence of over two years. She took to Instagram to share the health update.

She posted a photo from a hospital bed and using a classic movie reference to bring some levity to the serious situation. Quoting \”Kindergarten Cop,\” Rebel wrote, \”It’s not a Tumah ~ Kindergarten Cop. Ok, it is, but it’s out now ??.\” She added, \”Still healing from when I was hospitalized last May 2024.”

This news comes after Rebel had previously shared that she was hospitalized in May 2024 with what was initially an unidentified lung mass, later diagnosed as pneumonia. Though she remains under contract with AEW, there is currently no timetable for her return to television as she continues to recover. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Seth Rollins has launched a verbal attack on CM Punk, noting that Punk is \”not good for what we do\” and stating, \”I want him gone.\” Rollins made these remarks during a recent appearance on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams.

This comes as Rollins has a negative history with Punk stemming from the way Punk handled his 2014 WWE exit. The two are also in a storyline together.

Rollins leads a new heel faction on Raw, which includes Paul Heyman – who recently betrayed CM Punk – along with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Punk, meanwhile, recently returned hiatus, but failed to secure a spot in the Men\’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Rollins has landed a spot in the match.

Professional wrestler Jordan Williams, 34, known in the ring as Jayden Steele, has been charged with felony kidnapping and multiple assault charges. His alleged victim reportedly left a desperate note begging for help in a Jersey Mike’s restroom in Navarre, Florida, on May 27, 2025, according to NBC 15 News.

Shotzi (Blackheart), who was released from WWE in May 2025, has confirmed reports that she was pulled from the 2025 Women\’s Royal Rumble match at the last minute to accommodate Alexa Bliss\’s return. Speaking on Unwrapped with Daria and Toni, Shotzi detailed the confusing and disappointing experience.

She recounted being flown in by WWE with very little notice. \”They didn’t relay anything until like the day before. It was like 3 pm the day before [the Royal Rumble] and they were like, ‘Hey, can you get on a flight in a couple hours?’\” Shotzi explained.

\”And I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I\’m not ready for this!’ and packed my bags… And then it led to nothing.” Despite attending rehearsals, Shotzi revealed she \”got told while I was in the makeup chair that I wasn’t in it.”

She confirmed Bliss, whose return was a late decision due to contract negotiations, took her spot. Shotzi shared that Bliss was apologetic: “She felt so bad and she came up to me afterwards and she was like, ‘Oh my God, I’m so sorry! I didn’t even realize [they were giving me someone else’s spot].”

Shotzi called it a \”tough pill to swallow\” but noted that at least Bliss received a big pop.

  • Mayor Sadiq Khan: We\’d Love For WrestleMania To Come To London

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has publicly appealed to WWE Chief Content Officer Paul \”Triple H\” Levesque to bring the company\’s flagship premium live event, WrestleMania, to the UK. capital. This renewed push came during a recent interview with CNBC\’s Tania Bryer.

\”I\’d love for WrestleMania to come to London,\” Khan stated directly. \”Triple H if you\’re watching, we want WrestleMania to come to London.\”

Khan, who held talks with Levesque in July 2024, elaborated on his vision: \”If WrestleMania came to London, my message to the team there is that we wouldn\’t just have a great weekend, we\’d have a festival, of legends in WrestleMania coming to London, current stars, but also future stars as well.\”

He believes it \”will open a completely new market for them as well.\” Khan described London as the \”sporting capital… of the world,\” adding, \”if WrestleMania wants to expand, the obvious place to come is London.\”

Speculation about London as a potential host has been significant since 2023, when John Cena voiced support for the idea during a WWE event in the city. If it were to happen, it would be the first time WrestleMania is held outside of North America.

This comes as WWE continues its international expansion, highlighted by RAW moving to Netflix globally in 2025.
