The report indicates that after Lynch\’s victory over Lyra Valkyria, which ended that feud due to a \”last chance\” stipulation, a new program with the returning Nikki Bella is expected to begin for the championship, possibly as soon as tonight\’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

At last night\’s SummerSlam Night Two, Becky Lynch retained her title against Lyra Valkyria in a hard-fought No Disqualification match. The bout featured interference from Bayley, who accidentally struck Valkyria with a steel chain, allowing Lynch to hit the Manhandle Slam for the victory. It was also noted that Bayley has been teasing a character change in recent weeks after being left off of both the WrestleMania and SummerSlam cards.

Jade Cargill has shared a story about an uncomfortable \”horror story\” experience from a meet and greet, detailing an incident where a fan repeatedly asked her to spit on him, forcing her to call security.

While speaking on the Rory & Mal show, Cargill was asked about her most interesting fan interactions. She recalled one incident where a fan took his requests too far, making her feel extremely uncomfortable.

“There was a lot of men that legit wanted me to like punch him and step on them, and like one guy wanted me to spit on him. It was the weirdest thing, and I felt so uncomfortable,\” Cargill said. \”But this guy wanted me to spit on him, degrade him, stomp on him, and I had on heels, and I was just like, this is the weirdest.”

Cargill explained that the fan was persistent with his request, even after she tried to play along with a photo op. His behavior escalated to the point where she had to end the interaction.

\”He was like, ‘just spit on me’ like quick, quick, like loud, and I was like ‘security!’, like this is not it,\” she recalled. \”I had to take like a minute because it was such like a weird feeling and vibe because even when he got up, he was like, just grabbing my leg to like climb up. It was odd.”

WWE veteran Randy Orton has weighed in on the new \”WWE: Unreal\” docuseries on Netflix, sharing his mixed feelings about the show\’s unprecedented look behind the scenes and admitting that the \”old school\” part of him \”doesn\’t love it.\”

Speaking on the Maggie and Perloff Show, \”The Viper\” explained his internal conflict with shows that pull back the curtain on the wrestling business. He noted that while he understands the need to evolve, a part of him misses the mystique.

“The old school in me doesn’t love it. But, I had to learn over the last few years especially, you gotta change with the times,\” Orton said. \”But, there’s a part of me that also misses just the magic. When I was a kid, the number one thing that people would ask my father and kids at school would ask me, ‘Is it real? Is it real?’”

Orton acknowledged that he understands the appeal of the docuseries for a modern audience that is curious about the inner workings of WWE. He said that while he doesn\’t personally \”love the idea,\” he finds it \”intriguing.\”

\”I think there’s a large amount of fans out there that are very curious and they want to know behind the scenes and how we do what we do and make it look so effortless,\” he stated. \”My job is to go out there in that ring and get you to kind of suspend your belief… and make you believe that what you’re seeing, that there’s real emotion behind it.\”

Truth also shared a humorous anecdote about a joke from Triple H that spurred him on. He recounted Triple H joking about his and Cena\’s hairlines, saying, “Oh, we can [tell you apart]. One’s going bald on the top and one’s going bald on the front.” Truth said the joke was so funny that it sealed his decision to go through with the haircut. \”It felt good cutting it, dog. I got the reaction I want. I got that emotion from people that I want,\” he said.

I have never heard from either that it wasn\’t as real as it possibly could get, and maybe it was. It certainly ended up being real, no doubt, however, I have questions. There was a documentary crew backstage at a company that never, ever allows anything like that. There\’s mics in the room.\”

Rhodes, who grew up in the business as the son of Dusty Rhodes, explained his belief in the \”work within the work,\” suggesting that making something appear real on a show that is otherwise scripted is the ultimate form of performance. He even suggested that Vince McMahon getting punched by Bret Hart could have been a necessary part of the deception if it was planned.

\”My position, to me, is always the work within the work. And Sean, Sean Michaels was my favorite wrestler growing up… then you get to him and Hogan, when they wrestled SummerSlam, and they\’re like, \’Oh, you can tell he\’s mad at Hogan\’… But is he or is this just seemed like the one real thing on the show where you knew everything else was fictional… We\’re talking about, you saw Rhea and Bianca talking about, there\’s no way to pull that. It\’s coming. It\’s coming… If the whole thing was a work from beginning, and yeah, then part of it is he has to hit him.\”

Because that’s a different level of thought. Everything you’re saying is mattering in this moment. He’s judging you. He’s also enjoying it. He’s also planning for you. By the time I’m done with this sentence, he’s got a path for me. And I’m either with him or against him. Technical wrestling, probably Bret Hart. It wasn’t just the moves. It was the punches, the forearms. The best finishing move. I’d say it’s probably a tossup between Stone Cold Stunner and Hogan’s leg drop.”

In the new \”WWE: Unreal\” docuseries on Netflix, CM Punk did not hold back in his assessment of one of WWE\’s most dangerous match types, calling the Elimination Chamber \”possibly the stupidest match we do here.\”

While discussing the match on the recently released series, Punk gave a blunt and critical review of the \”demonic structure.\” He explained that due to its unforgiving nature, it is impossible to properly prepare for.

“You can’t prepare for an Elimination Chamber match. Punk\’s ranking of his peers comes just days before he has a chance to further solidify his own legacy. This coming weekend at the two-night SummerSlam premium live event, CM Punk is scheduled to challenge GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship in one of the weekend\’s main events.
