  • Vince McMahon Provides Update On Status Of Next Saudi Arabia Show Amid Coronavirus

The coronavirus has forced the world to cease all nonessential operations. This includes WWE and their deal to produce shows for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well.

Vince McMahon talked about the company\’s performance in the first few months of 2020 during the Q1 2020 earning calls recently and he also provided an update on the status of their next show in the Middle Eastern country.

The Boss revealed that the current plans are for them to do their second Saudi show of the year in November or December later this year after the Super Showdown 2020 event.

He is not sure if the authorities will be able to give them ok to perform at the time but according to McMahon the Saudis really want them to hold another show later this year.

Though even if the event is canceled, it will not have a negative impact on the company\’s finances because they will be able to \”tack it onto” the backside of their deal.

Per Vince McMahon\’s explanation, this essentially means that the show will be postponed to a later date and not canceled completely meaning that the company will not lose the potential revenue from the event.

WWE signed a ten-year contract to put on two shows per year in Saudi Arabia in 2015 and the company put out their fifth show under the deal in Super Showdown 2020 in February earlier this year.

  • Triple H Recalls Meeting With Vince McMahon That Led To WWE Signing

Triple H is one of the most decorated stars in the history of WWE with 14 world title wins and half a dozen other championship victories over the course of his career.

However, all this wouldn\’t have been possible if the Game had not left WCW in 1995 and joined WWE and during his recent appearance on the Bump, the former World Champion explained how it came to be.

Triple H recalled how he was trying to gain interest because his WCW contract was coming up. He spoke to J.J. Dillon who was the WWE talent head at the time and he arranged a meeting with Vince McMahon.

The DX member then detailed his first meeting with the Boss while he was still under a WCW contract. He revealed that they had a very friendly discussion and his biggest take away from it was the larger than life impression of Mr. McMahon:

\”I spoke to J.J. He brought me into a meeting with Vince. I remember coming in and meeting Vince and thinking well for one, he\’s Vince McMahon, he has a larger than life presence.\” said Triple H\” Also, it was the ultimate meeting you could take in the business, especially at that time – maybe even more so today, I guess.

We had a very cordial meeting. He asked me what my plans were, and why I wanted to go there [WWF], as opposed to where I was, all that kind of stuff. I guess the biggest takeaway for me was the larger than life impression Vince McMahon gave.\”

Triple H then revealed that the company called him a month after this meeting, right after his Starrcade match with Alex Wright. They asked him if he was still interested in joining the promotion and this led to his WWE debut.

The King Of Kings made his in-ring debut for the company in April 1995 and since then, he has went on to become one of the top stars in the history of the business.

  • Big Show On Why He Didn\’t Have An Entrance Music In WCW

Before signing with WWE and becoming the Big Show, the Monster Sized Athlete Paul Wight was signed by WCW in 1995. He was given the ring name The Giant and introduced to the audience as the son of the legendary Andre The Giant.

One unique aspect of his WCW character was the fact that he wasn\’t given an entrance music and during a recent interview with SportsKeeda, the former World Champion revealed the reason behind it.

According to the Big Show, he had asked the WCW management why he wasn\’t given an entrance music and the officials told him that he didn\’t need one:

“One of my fondest memories was, I didn\’t have ring music and I would ask, “How come I don\’t have entrance music or ring music?’ You\’re a giant brother, you don\’t need ringing music,\’ that’s what they told me. Luckily WWE thought differently and now I have an iconic entrance song.\”

The Big Show also recalled being part of The Dungeon of Doom stable of Kevin Sullivan saying that they were a collection of misfits and being part of the group was a lot of fun.

The former WCW Champion has claimed in interviews that he was making a lot less money than the other main eventers in WCW and his request to increase his pay was denied.

So he let his contract with the promotion expire in February 1999 and the former World Champion was signed to a 10-year contract by WWE a day after his WCW deal ended.

  • Cody Files To Trademark The Name \”Cody Rhodes\”

AEW star Cody has filed an application to trademark his WWE ring name Cody Rhodes for merchandising and entertainment service usage.

The former WWE star has stated previously that he is free to use the name if he wants to but latest updates reveal that WWE still owned the trademark for it up until now.

According to the United States Patent & Trademark Office, WWE\’s trademark of the name expired on October 13, 2019. The company was given a 6 month grace period to re-file for the trademark. That period expired earlier this month on April 12th.

WWE officials did not make a move to secure the name they have owned since June 2007, a month before Cody Rhodes made his main roster debut on Raw.

The AEW star was quick to act on the opportunity. The USPTO filing reveals that he sent out an application for the trademark on April 13, a day after WWE\’s claim on the name ended.

This is not the first time Cody Rhodes has attempted to trademark a name previously owned by WWE. The AEW VP previously managed to trademark several WCW PPV names including the Bash At The Beach name they used for a show earlier this year.

Though the former WWE star\’s attempt to trademark the name Dusty Rhodes was rejected last year and it would now be interesting to see if he manages to get the rights for his old ring name without any problem.

  • Dakota Kai On If She Feels Comfortable Doing WWE Shows Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

WWE\’s decision to move forward with their shows despite the coronavirus outbreak has created a lot of controversy including an anonymous employee claiming that the company is forcing them to work.

However not all the employees feel the same about the situation and Dakota Kai seems to be one of the stars who is satisfied with the company\’s preventive measures.

The NXT star was recently interviewed by CBS Sport, and when asked if she feels comfortable working shows at the WWE Performance Center, she replied positively:

\”I feel so comfortable taping all the shows that there have been a lot of measures being taken during this time. So yeah, all of us have to wear masks, besides from when we’re actually taping the matches, that’s definitely a need. Before we do anything, we have to check in with medical to make sure that we’re able to perform.\”

Kai went on to explain that only a certain number of people are allowed in places like the makeup area at one time. Anyone who is not cleared by the medical team can\’t be involved or be at the set at all and they get sent home.

Apart from this, Dakota Kai also talked about the future of NXT Takeover events, the adjustments she has made to perform with no audience and more. You can check out her full interview at this link.

The news of WWE releasing over a dozen superstars made a lot of headlines last week but the company also released a lot of lesser-known names alongside people like Kurt Angle and Rusev as well.

One such name was the long time WWE referee Mike Chioda who had been with the promotion since 1989. He was the longest-tenured referee in the history of the promotion.

Chioda finally broke his silence on his WWE firing on Wednesday and he put out the following tweets, thanking the members of the WWE Universe as well as his co-workers who have reached out to him:

The Undisputed Era Comments On Loss

This week\’s episode of NXT saw the Undisputed Era facing the team of The Velveteen Dream and Keith Lee in a tag team match. Lee was taken out of the equation after an attack from Damian Priest.

Dexter Lumis suddenly appeared on the side of Dream towards the ending of the match and the two went on to defeat the Undisputed Era despite the disadvantage of numbers.

After the show, the trio was interviewed backstage where they claimed that the odds were stacked against them from the beginning and warned the NXT roster to be ready for the Undisputed Era. You can check out their interview below:

  • Arn Anderson On WWE Management Not Liking Cesaro

Cesaro is considered to be one of the most underrated guys in the WWE roster but according to the former WWE Producer Arn Anderson, the Swiss superstar is not very well-liked by the WWE management.

The former WWE employee talked about a number of things during the recent episode of his ARN podcast while also giving his thoughts on why the former US Champion\’s has not become a main eventer in the company yet.

Anderson first claimed that Cesaro has never been a “favorite guy” backstage in WWE and the former WWE star also revealed that the company has stopped him from using some of his most impressive moves:

“He’s not a favorite guy, as you know, of the front office, for whatever reason that is. They’re the only ones that know because everyone else across the planet seems to think he’s a Superstar. But he continued to get leaned on to stop doing all that stuff [impressive moves] as a heel. It was just too flashy and all that stuff.”

Cesaro has been with WWE since 2011 and despite being a fan favorite since the beginning of his career; he has only won one singles title in the promotion.

On the other hand, Arn Anderson had been with WWE since 2002. He was fired from the company in February last year and the former WCW star has joined AEW since then.

  • WWE Issues Statement On Rob Gronkowski\’s NFL Return

It was reported yesterday that Rob Gronkowski will be returning to NFL and play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The league later also confirmed the news of his comeback.

WWE has now responded to this development and the company released a statement on their official website. They congratulated the American football star but also warned him about the rules of the 24/7 title:

\”Congratulations to Rob Gronkowski, the current WWE 24/7 Champion, on his return to football. Per the rules of the 24/7 Title, Gronk must defend his championship at all times in any location. He could be celebrating a touchdown pass from Tom Brady…anytime, anywhere.\”

Rob Gronkowski announced his retirement from NFL in March 2019. He made a cameo during WrestleMania 33 and the former Football player then signed a WWE contract for 2 matches in March 2020.

He hosted WrestleMania 36 and the former Patriots player won the 24/7 championship by defeating Mojo Rawley during the second day of the PPV event.

There is no word yet on how this return will affect Gronkowski\’s WWE commitments and when or if he will return to the company to complete his contractual obligations. We will keep you posted if any details on the matter come out.

  • Clue For SmackDown Hacker\’s Identity, Old WWE Twitter Account Hijacked

The \”SmackDown Hacker\” has been interrupting WWE broadcasts in recent weeks. The mysterious figure he now has made his presence felt on social media as well.

A cryptic video was posted on social media. It suggests there are people who don\’t want \’them\’ to speak – but they will expose the evil. The latest SmackDown hacker video message reads:

“There are those who don’t want us to speak. They don’t want us to see. Through force and fear they’re risen to power. But the people should not fear those in power. No, those in power should fear the people.

For the people are many. The people are ready. And we will speak, we will see, and the evil done in the dark will be exposed – in the light.\”

    SmackDown Hacker Hijacks WWE Account

As seen above, the Twitter account used to spread this video is @TheMessageWWE. It has since been revealed that the account in use is an old WWE Twitter account which they used for the “Stand Up for WWE” campaign during Linda McMahon’s run for one of Connecticut’s Senate seats. The campaign encouraged WWE fans to defend the company by showing their love for the promotion and responding to anyone who criticized the company.

The officials have used Chad Gable and Mustafa Ali for previous similar videos but the voice in the newest promo does not match either of the stars. It\’s very likely that the company is using these names as placeholders and the real name behind the promos will turn out to be someone other than the rumored stars.

The \”Location\” listed on the @TheMessageWWE Twitter account is a set of coordinates. They read, 33.1284° N, 107.2528° W. This location is Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Some fans have taken this as a clue that the SmackDown hacker might be Xavier Woods. The New Day Member was formerly known as Consequences Creed during his time in TNA Wrestling.

Update: Xavier Woods is aware of the theory that he is the SmackDown Hacker and denies any involvement.

Who do you expect will be revealed as the mystery hacker? Share your pick in the comments section.

  • The Revival Reportedly Has Heat Over New Name

The Revival finally got released from their WWE contracts earlier this month and the duo revealed the new name for their tag team in the independent circuit just yesterday.

However, it appears that this move from the former WWE employees is not sitting well with some indie stars and the duo has heat over their new name, according to PWInsider.

The Revival introduced a new logo and revealed that they will be using The Revolt as their team name moving forward. However, this name is already being used by indie stars Caleb Konley and Zane Riley for their team.

The indie team has been using the name for more than 5 years and it\’s said that some in the North Carolina independent scene are upset because the indie stars have invested in promoting and merchandising the name.

Both Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson of the Revival are from Carolinas and so this move is perceived as personal because one of their own went against the working indie talents.

Though the report also suggests that it\’s possible that the former Raw Tag Team Champions were not aware that the name was being used by Konley and Riley since they have been busy in WWE in recent years.

Both the indie stars have taken the issue to twitter but the Revival has not responded to their posts yet. We\’ll keep you posted on any response from the former WWE stars.

  • Will Ospreay On Paul Heyman Intervening In His Twitter Feud With Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins got engaged in a twitter feud with Will Ospreay last year and the Architect\’s harsh comments had attracted negative reactions from fans. Though the hostility between the two ended after Rollins publically apologized to the NJPW star.

Reports had later revealed that the Raw Executive Director Paul Heyman had talked to Seth about the issue and provided feedback leading to the apology.

During his recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Will Ospreay talked about the whole thing and commented on the rumors of Paul Heyman getting involved in the situation:

\”I’ve heard rumors that Paul Heyman told him to apologize to me and Paul Heyman is a big supporter of mine and, once again, Paul Heyman is Paul Heyman, you know what I mean? I heard that he told Seth to apologize so I don’t know if that’s true or not,

But there’s kind of rumors going around backstage and like I’ve got guys who are friends with Seth Rollins in New Japan who have told me this, and I don’t know if that’s true but it sounds about right. I just don’t know.\”

Ospreay continued by saying that he had been a fan of Seth Rollins during his ROH days and if someone apologizes to him then he lets the issue go.

Apart from this, the high flying star talked about his move to the heavyweight division of NJPW and people asking him if he was using steroids or if he \’was on gas\’. You can check out his comments on the matter at this link.

  • Mike Kanellis Reveals Who Was Behind His Storyline With Maria

Mike Kanellis didn\’t do much during his time in WWE and one of his final storylines with the promotion was where his wife Maria Kanellis started berating him and started labeling the WWE star as an embarrassment.

During a recent interview with FightFul.com, the now-former WWE star talked about his time in the company and revealed who was the mind behind this storyline.

Mike surprisingly revealed that it was the Raw Executive Director Paul Heyman who came up with the idea after hearing about Maria\’s pregnancy.

According to the former TNA star, Heyman had called the couple to discuss a match between them and the team of Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch but he changed the plans upon learning the situation and came up with a new idea:

“We had just found out like two days ago we were pregnant we were just waiting for the right time you tell them. Maria was just like, \’Paul I\’ve known you a long time, I have to, I\’m pregnant.\’ He went, \’alright. Well, this isn\’t going to work then.

Then, in typical Paul Heyman fashion stops dead in his tracks and he goes, \’I think I have an idea. Do you mind if I tell the boss?\’ Maria went, \’no we were going to eventually anyways.\” recalled Mike Kanellis. \”He goes, \’alright I\’ll call you back.\’ He called his back and pitched the whole angle that we did.\”

The former Champion then continued by saying that neither him nor his wife had any problem with the storyline as long as it was going somewhere and there was a payoff.

Mike Kanellis had signed a new multi-year contract with WWE in July last year but he asked for his release in October because he was unhappy with his position in the company.

WWE Officials had denied his request at the time but they released both Mike and Maria Kanellis from their contracts alongside numerous other stars earlier this month as part of the company\’s adjustments due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Henry made a very interesting suggestion saying that CM Punk should be revealed as the man behind the recent promos and it could be his introduction back to pro wrestling:

“I said it from the beginning that I was hoping that it would be CM Punk, that it would be his introduction back to pro wrestling. To be able to tell the story of ‘you want the truth?

I want to give you the truth, and I’ve been around here watching and I’ve exposed the truth at some small levels? But now I’m going to share the truth on everything.\’”

Mark Henry went on to explain that this way you can have CM Punk \”pipe-bomb the sh*t out of the wrestling business\” and the former WWE Champion can be the lightning rod of hate in the company.

There is no word yet on what the company is planning for the hacker gimmick or who will be revealed as the man behind it but there are speculations that Mustafa Ali could be behind the recent promos.

\”[Laughs] Well, I\’m not gonna go that far but Vince is up on the times. If cannabis were to become legal, then he would have no problem supporting it. He supported it when I was there, I\’ve never smoked with Vince or seen Vince smoke.\”

The Godfather was also asked if smoking weed was a common thing backstage in WWE when he was there and the former Intercontinental Champion said that there were very few guys who smoked at the time.

She first claimed that she would not return to WWE programming on a fulltime basis and the former UFC Champion then went on to blast the WWE fans:

Drew McIntyre is at the top of the wrestling world right now after defeating Brock Lesnar and winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36 from the Performance Center.

However, he had hit rock bottom at a point and the former champion did not know what the future held for him after becoming a jobber and then subsequently getting released from the company in 2014.

McIntyre talked about the time during his interview with The Guardian. Revealing his reaction to his WWE firing, the former TNA star said that he blamed his own self for it:

“When I was fired I told myself: ‘This is on you.’ The only person I had to blame was myself. I said: ‘This was the dream you wanted. You’re gonna have to prove to everybody you are who they thought you were in the beginning.’ \”

Drew McIntyre went on to say that after this, he started working as hard as he can. He travelled as much as he could and took every booking he got to build himself back up:

\”And from that moment on, I was in the gym, working as hard as I could. I was travelling as much as I could. Anybody who would have me, I would wrestle for them. Any interview I could do to practise getting better at situations like this, I would do, just to build myself up in every possible area.”

The hard work he put into his career finally paid off after McIntyre got rehired by WWE in 2017. After having a lengthy and successful run in NXT, he has finally achieved the biggest goal for any WWE star by main eventing WrestleMania and winning the world title.

  • The Undertaker Opens Up About Boneyard Match At WrestleMania 36

The Undertaker recently did a rare out of character interview with Nine Line Apparel on Instagram Live where the Dead Man opened up about his boneyard match with AJ Styles for the first time since WrestleMania 36.

The two were originally expected to have a regular match but plans changed after the company had to move the show to the Performance Center and the officials made the decision to use the set for the bout which was originally built for a promo.

Talking about the unique match, the Undertaker first mentioned how they envisioned the fight for a live arena until two weeks before the Show Of Shows. Discussing the end result of their efforts, he said that he couldn\’t be more proud of the final product:

\”The final product — I couldn\’t be more proud of it. Under the circumstances, all the different things going on, everybody pulled together and put something like that out there that was different and was intriguing. I can\’t speak for AJ, but I\’m very proud of what we did.\”

The match exceeded expectations of the fans and it received high praise from the WWE Universe and the wrestling world for the cinematic experience it provided.

Undertaker On Why He Returned To The American Badass Gimmick

One of the most discussed aspects of the match was the former Champion leaving behind the Dead Man gimmick to return to his American Badass avatar for this bout.

Explaining the reasoning behind this change, The former World Champion claimed that he had to lean away from the dark side of his character because AJ Styles made the rivalry between the two very personal:

\”When AJ threw that first stone and made this personal, then it made it a no brainer, I couldn\’t stay that mainstream Undertaker and be able to respond and deal with the things he was saying in that character.\”

Taker also explained his reference of the Unholy Trinity saying that it\’s nothing but the unification of his three personalities in the The Dead Man, The American Badass and the man behind the gimmick Mark Calaway in one person.

Apart from this, The Undertaker talked about the future of cinematic matches, cutting promos in an empty arena with no audience and more. You can check out more of his interview in the video below:

  • AJ Styles On Why It Took Him A Long Time To Get Into WWE

AJ Styles started his wrestling career in 1998 and he spent the next two decades proving his excellence in the ring by travelling across the globe and competing at the highest levels at various promotions.

However, it took him a long time to join WWE and during a recent episode of The Bump, the former WWE Champion discussed the reason behind his late arrival in the company.

Styles first mentioned how he didn\’t stay in one place to face the average Joe’s and discussed how smaller sized wrestlers were not given a chance back when he started:

\”I didn\’t just stay in one place and face your average Joe\’s, I faced Kurt Angle. I mean, this guy was a former Olympic champion. A lot of those guys that were in the WWE came to where I was working. Then, I went to New Japan and did stuff over there.

\”I would\’ve been there earlier [WWE] if I could\’ve. Sometimes, things work out the way they do. It\’s a different time.\” said AJ Styles. \”Guys aren\’t as big as they used to be. Guys my size are getting a chance, when back then, guys my size weren\’t given the chance to be in the ring.\”

The Phenomenal One also talked about his WrestleMania 33 match against Shane McMahon saying that he has a lot of respect for Shane and their match was one of the better Mania matches he has had so far.

While it took time for AJ Styles to finally arrive in the company, he has claimed his rightful position in the WWE roster since his debut in 2016.

With multiple world title victories under his belt, it\’s safe to say that he has earned his position as one of the greatest WWE stars in the history of the promotion. You can check out the episode of The Bump featuring Styles below:

During a recent episode of his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff talked about the match and revealing his reaction to the inclusion of the nWo storyline, Bischoff said that time stopped for him when they started introducing those elements in the match:

\”When they started introducing the NWO stuff, time stopped for me. It was such a bizarre feeling, it was like I was in this suspended state of animation and I was frozen in time. It was almost an out of body, out of my head experience. I got such a big kick out of it.\”

The former WCW President went on to explain that he was blown away by the angle because it was an inside shoot. It wasn\’t being creative just for the sake of it and the angle was done in a way that took the story to the next level.

Eric Bischoff then said that the cinematic matches are probably the catalyst for the next evolution of storytelling in wrestling and WrestleMania 36 may have had more impact on the business than any other WrestleMania in a long time.

\”My ma, yes! The freakin’ killings that were in my house when I told her I was wrestling, because I lied to her and told her that it was Brazillian Jiu Jitsu that I was doing. Then when she found out it was wrestling, she freakin’ nearly ripped my head off.\”

\”Winning the Rumble, but it wasn’t in the plans. I was injured quite a bit so if I had any opportunities to win the rumble, my injuries most likely ruined any chance of it. I was injured 2 of my 6 1/2 years I performed in WWE from 2000-2006.\”

We are producing content on a closed set with only essential personnel in attendance following appropriate guidelines while taking additional precautions to ensure the health and wellness of our performers and staff. As a brand that has been woven into the fabric of society, WWE and its Superstars bring families together and deliver a sense of hope, determination and perseverance.\”

Previous reports have revealed that it was Vince McMahon\’s decision to return to live TV and the Boss made the call this past Friday before the SmackDown tapings.

The main reason behind this decision is believed to be the fact that the promotion will be at risk of breaching their TV contracts if they produced any more taped shows. You can check out a detailed report on the matter here.

  • Goldberg Opens Up About Roman Reigns Backing Out Of WrestleMania

The decision of Roman Reigns to pull out of WrestleMania 36 due to health concerns after the coronavirus outbreak made a lot of headlines before the PPV event and it still remains a hot topic of discussion. The other part of this equation was Goldberg who ended up defending his Universal Championship against Braun Strowman at the Show Of Shows after the Big Dog decided not to work the event.

Goldberg opened up about this change for the first time since WrestleMania 36 when he recently appeared on the Carcast podcast. The former WCW star first mentioned how everybody knows about Reigns\’ leukaemia diagnosis and how he is in remission now. He then claimed that he doesn\’t know why the match was even considered despite the public knowledge of this situation:

\”I don\’t know why it was even considered in the beginning, except for the fact that we\’d invested time and WWE invested the money in the angle, in the match, you know. So literally until the 23rd hour, it was still a possibility that he and I were going to wrestle. So plans kind of changed at the very last minute. I did my match with Braun, and it was possible that I could do a match with Roman again before the 5th [the night the match aired]. That obviously fell through.\”

Goldberg Reveals His Reaction To Roman Reigns\’ Decision

The now-former Universal Champion also detailed the precautions WWE was taking with the people entering the Performance Center and mentioned that he was told the match was still a possibility until the last minute. The former Champion then discussed the reported incident with The Miz that led to Reigns\’ decision and when asked about his reaction to the whole thing, Goldberg said that you have to love the guy because he was still willing to go through it up until the 11th hour:

\”I think what happened was, somebody was sick and Roman heard about it. They didn\’t have [COVID-19], they just had the flu. But just the fact that someone was sick in those circumstances, at the end of the day he just couldn\’t do it. You know, more power to him to continually want to get it done, whether that\’s realistic or unrealistic from a person in his shoes are concerned. But you\’ve got to love the guy because up to the 11th hour, he was still willing to do it.\”

During the interview, Bill Goldberg also revealed that he had signed a 2 match contract with WWE and so his obligations for the year are done after he taped his match with Braun Strowman. Though this doesn\’t necessarily mean that the former Champion is done for the year and it\’s likely that the company will call him up again when they feel the need to add star power to any of their shows down the line.

  • Chris Jericho On Possibly Doing Commentary After Retirement

Chris Jericho is regarded as one of the greatest mic workers in all of wrestling and a lot of people believe that he should obtain a role on the commendatory desk when he decides to hang his boots and retire from active competition.

Fans got a little preview of what it would be like to have Y2J on the commentary booth full time when he joined the announcers\’ desk on last week\’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Jericho discussed his experience on his Saturday night special Facebook stream and the former AEW World Champion admitted that it was a fun experience:

\”It was pretty fun, I\’ve never commentated on a whole show before. The reason why I wanted to do it was just to have a presence on the show. As we kind of put a hold on so many things including \”Blood & Guts,\”

So I wanted to be on the show and provide a little energy, just in case.\” said Jericho. \”You know we are working in front of eight people, 10 people all strategically spaced apart of course.\”

A fan then asked the former WWE star if he would do commentary after retiring from active competition and he said: \”Absolutely, I always loved doing commentary, to do it for a whole hour or two hours is not easy to do.\”

It has been confirmed that Chris Jericho will be returning to the commentary booth with Tony Schiavone for this Wednesday\’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
