A wrestler who was present at the Rings of Europe event has gone on record with a detailed firsthand account of how an AI-generated fake topless image of Diana Strong circulated among talents before Strong even arrived at the show.

The wrestler, who goes by Calypso, says the promoter admitted Strong had not consented to the image and that when she refused the planned spot, she was cut by light tubes and left without any medical supplies afterward.

The account, posted by Calypso (@CalypsoBrunel) on X (Twitter), adds disturbing detail to the situation involving the Austrian promotion, which is now facing a talent boycott following the backlash.

The Planned Spot And The Missing Consent

Calypso says the promoter and manager described the image as part of a storyline. The plan was for the image to distract Strong during her match, causing her to lose, with the picture shown to the crowd and shared online.

Finding the idea strange, Calypso asked whether Strong had agreed to it. She was told Strong had not been told. The plan was reportedly to inform Strong when she arrived, but her lack of consent did not stop the promoter from placing the image in the men’s locker room beforehand.

When Strong arrived, she made clear she did not want the image used. The spot was changed to Strong being attacked with light tubes instead.

No Medical Care After The Light Tube Spot

Calypso recounts that when Strong was told she would be hit in the head with the light tubes, she raised concern about the risk of injuring her eyes.

When Calypso asked whether there were any medical supplies to help Strong following the spot, the event manager responded, “I don’t know.”

Calypso added that no food was provided for the event. She also noted that while male wrestlers were named individually on the card, the women were promoted only as “Ladies 4 vs 4.”
