Jacob Fatu sparked concern among fans after appearing to suffer an injury during WWE’s Liverpool house show on May 28, 2026. The WWE superstar was observed limping backstage and receiving medical attention following his match on the show.
WWE launched its European tour with a stacked house show in Liverpool featuring several top stars. One of the featured matches saw Fatu battle Solo Sikoa in a Liverpool Street Fight that delivered for the live crowd. Twitter user @xlilcubx, who attended the event, described the bout as an incredible street fight between the two Samoan stars.

Medical Attention Backstage
However, the same fan noted that Fatu appeared to be limping as he headed backstage following the match. Multiple attendees reported that medical staff met Fatu as he went through the curtain, with one fan stating he “landed a move very awkwardly and was in a lot of pain.”
At this time, there has been no official confirmation from WWE that Fatu actually suffered an injury. It’s entirely possible that the superstar was simply selling the damage from the physically demanding street fight.
Fatu is currently enjoying a major push in WWE as part of The Bloodline storyline. He recently challenged Roman Reigns to Tribal Combat. The match is set to main event the Clash In Italy PPV this Sunday.
