WWE legend John Bradshaw Layfield recently jokingly threatened to sue after WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio was announced as the new General Manager of AAA Lucha Libre.
The former WWE Champion took to social media to express his mock outrage over the appointment.
“I was robbed! I’m calling David Otunga and we are suing,” JBL posted on Twitter in response to the announcement. The post referenced fellow WWE personality David Otunga, playing up the comedic nature of the complaint.
Dominik Mysterio Weighs In
AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio reposted JBL’s complaint on social media. The younger Mysterio has been involved in an ongoing storyline feud with his father Rey on WWE programming for years.
JBL had previously claimed he was confident about being appointed to the General Manager role. The Texan stated he is universally loved in Mexico ahead of the reveal.
