In a video dropped by WWE following the show, Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin turned their attention to Flair in a backstage attack, with WWE personnel attempting to intervene.

  • Charlotte Flair Believes Her Next Heel Run Will Be Bigger

Charlotte Flair Believes Her Next Heel Run Will Be Bigger

Former WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair believes her eventual return to a heel role will be more effective.

‘The Queen’ has found some of the greatest success of her career as a villain, with many of her championship reigns and top storylines built around her arrogant, dominant heel persona.

However, her partnership with Alexa Bliss over the past year has helped transition Flair into a babyface role. The current run marks one of the longest sustained stretches as a fan favorite in Flair’s WWE career, a notable shift from the heel character work that defined much of her time on the main roster.

Speaking to Ring The Belle, Charlotte Flair said she believes her eventual return to a heel character will have a greater impact because fans are currently getting used to seeing her as a babyface.

    Massive Heel Turn Tease

She feels that even those who didn’t appreciate her previous villainous work may view it differently in the future, making a heel turn feel fresher and more meaningful when it happens.

“This is what I’ll say, when I do go back to being bad, I think it’ll just be appreciated more by the people that couldn’t understand or didn’t appreciate the being bad. You’ll have got your fix of this and then when I do go back bad and whatever that looks like, when, maybe it’ll just have a bigger impact.”

Flair was recently featured on the May 29th edition of WWE SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain, when Alex Bliss suffered a defeat against Jade Cargill.

    Charlotte Flair Reacts

Flair responded with humor on Instagram Story. She dropped a screenshot of the moment with a peach emoji that was covering the exposed area. She added a playful caption aimed at B-Fab.

Following the match, Jade Cargill attacked Bliss as Flair beat up Michin and B-Fab. ‘The Queen’ wanted to fight Cargill right there, but Cargill backed off.

It was later announced on SmackDown that the team of Rhea Ripley, Flair, and Bliss will face Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23.

  • Ric Flair Reveals WWE Blocked WrestleMania 42 Invite After Threatening Ludwig Kaiser

Ric Flair Reveals WWE Blocked WrestleMania 42 Invite After Threatening Ludwig Kaiser

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was not invited to WrestleMania 42 this past weekend, and he has now revealed the reason why.

The 16-time world champion explained that a threatening phone call he made to Ludwig Kaiser roughly a year ago led to WWE keeping him away from the event.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani, ‘Nature Boy’ said that the incident stemmed from comments made during the heated feud between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton ahead of WrestleMania 41. Tiffany made remarks about Charlotte’s real-life divorces, and ‘The Queen’ responded on television by suggesting Kaiser had been in her DMs.

Phone Call Led to WrestleMania Ban

‘The Nature Boy’ confirmed that WWE made the decision not to extend an invitation to WrestleMania 42 as a direct result of the phone call. He acknowledged that his actions crossed a line with the company.

“I didn’t get invited to WrestleMania this year. I threatened to beat up Tiffany Stratton’s boyfriend last year and I wasn’t allowed to go. A 24-year-old kid, threatened, by a 76-year-old man, and I can’t go to WrestleMania. Are you kidding me? That English kid. He’s going to go as far in wrestling as a gnat. He’ll be a fly on the wall in a year,” Flair said.

Ric Flair said he was angry over remarks made by Tiffany and claimed the comments weren’t genuine. He ended by mocking the Kaiser’s career and called him a “punk.”

“They had that thing where Tiffany made smart remarks about Ashley’s divorces, which we both know she’s not smart enough to have written, somebody gave her the script. He implied that he wouldn’t ‘bum one’ off Ashley. Okay, I need your number, and I got it, because I can get anyone’s number that I want any minute of any day.

I called him and said, ‘When I see you, I’m going to beat the sh*t out of you.’ He went like a little b*tch, told Hunter, and I wasn’t allowed to go. He’s going to really go far in the business. A 76-year-old tells a 24-year-old kid that he’s going to kick his ass and where is he now? Is he even on the roster? Little punk,” Flair said.

WrestleMania 42 took place this past weekend without the Hall of Fame legend in attendance. The two-night event featured multiple championship matches and marquee bouts across both Raw and SmackDown brands.

Charlotte Flair On Bayley: ‘We’re Always Trying to Outdo One Another’

Charlotte Flair has singled out Bayley as the person she is most excited to be sharing the ring with at WrestleMania 42.

Speaking with Kay Adams in a new interview, Flair reflected on her extensive history with Bayley, which spans close to 60 televised matches dating back to 2013. The two have shared the WrestleMania stage once before, at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando where Bayley successfully defended the Raw Women’s Championship in a four-way match that also included Flair, Nia Jax, and Sasha Banks.

“Probably Bayley because she’s one of the four horsewomen. We’ve actually competed against each other when she retained the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando. We have so much history, I feel like we’re always trying to outdo one another. Being on the same card and in the same match with her again at WrestleMania, it feels pretty special. It’s one thing to be on WrestleMania, but it’s another to be on two different WrestleManias with the same girl,” Flair said.

Flair teams with Alexa Bliss to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships in the fatal four-way at WrestleMania 42 night one on April 18, with Bayley and Lyra Valkyria also in the match alongside the Bella Twins and champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend.

Charlotte Flair Reveals Personal Toll of Carrying Ric Flair’s Legacy Throughout WWE Career

Charlotte Flair has opened up about the emotional cost of spending nearly a decade trying to live up to one of professional wrestling’s most iconic last names.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, the multi-time Women’s Champion reflected on the personal toll of striving for public perfection while privately dealing with her own struggles throughout her WWE run.

“The pressure of being Ric Flair is like unimaginable. And so for me from 2015 to 2024 what was hurting me was trying to be perfect in the public eye when I was going through so many battles of my own. I mean everyone has battles, so I’m not any different, but I think that was the sacrifice for me is like trying to be so perfect all the time and it lost who I was as a person,” Flair said.

The weight of the Flair name has followed her throughout her career, with every performance measured against the legacy of her father, a 16-time world champion widely considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Charlotte has spoken previously about the complicated dynamic of that inheritance.

Flair is currently heading into WrestleMania 42, where she will team with Alexa Bliss to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on Night One on April 18 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

  • Charlotte Flair Reflects on Brother’s Tragic Passing That Shaped Her WWE Journey

Charlotte Flair Reflects on Brother’s Tragic Passing That Shaped Her WWE Journey

Multi-time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair recently opened up about how the passing of her brother Reid Flair reshaped her entire wrestling career and became the driving force behind her success in WWE.

‘The Queen’ revealed deeply personal details about her motivations and how loss transformed her path in professional wrestling.

During an interview with Sports Illustrated, Charlotte explained that her original goal wasn’t personal glory. She wanted to wrestle alongside Reid and help him find stability through the business. That dream ended when Reid passed away in March 2013 at just 25 years old.

Reid’s death shocked the wrestling world and devastated the Flair family.

For Charlotte, it became a turning point that changed how she viewed wrestling and her purpose in the industry.

Charlotte Credits Reid for Saving Her Life

Charlotte made it clear that Reid’s memory continues to fuel everything she does inside the ring. She described how her brother’s passing shifted her entire perspective on wrestling and life.

“My brother paid the biggest price. I spent so many years trying to save my brother and then ultimately he saved me when he passed away and I started wrestling because I wanted to wrestle with him and help him get him on the right path. So really like my brother paid the biggest price.”

The emotional revelation shows a side of Charlotte that fans rarely see beyond her championship accomplishments. Her journey has been tied closely to personal loss and the emotional growth that fueled her rise in WWE.

  • Charlotte Flair on Wrestling in Her 40s: ‘I’m Gonna Quit When I Want To’

Charlotte Flair on Wrestling in Her 40s: ‘I’m Gonna Quit When I Want To’

Multi-time Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is not considering the idea of hanging up her wrestling boots just yet. ‘The Queen’ addressed questions about her age and career longevity during a recent interview, making it clear she won’t let anyone put her in a box.

Flair appeared on Casuals with Katie Nolan, where she was asked if she’s started thinking about retirement now that she’s in her 40s.

    Flair Rejects Age Stigma

The question prompted a passionate response about double standards in wrestling and sports.

“It’s unfortunate that those sentences happen because I feel like in my industry, men don’t reach their prime until 40,” Flair said.

“Because I started late, I didn’t win my first title until I was 30. Where the girls now, which is awesome, a lot of people are in their younger 20s.”

    She continued:

“But saying that the men don’t hit their prime till 40, why am I not hitting my prime now? I realize that I think it would be easier for people to label me in that box, but I’m not going to let anyone put me in that box.”

    Career on Her Own Terms

Flair highlighted that she hopes women in any profession approaching 40 don’t view it as a slowdown or endgame. The former Women’s Champion pointed to examples like Lindsey Vonn as proof that capability and willingness to put in the work matter more than age.

“I’m not gonna say sorry anymore for winning, I’m not gonna age out of my career, I’m gonna quit when I want to quit. I’m gonna lace it up when I want to lace it up.”

Flair noted that if people didn’t know her age and saw her in the ring, they wouldn’t single her out as someone who’s been around for 10 years. She called out the societal stigma around women turning 40, contrasting it with how men are perceived to get better with age.

“It’s new territory. It was new territory when I debuted in 2015, and it’s new territory now. So, I hope I am part of the progress of changing that.”

Charlotte Flair will team up with Alexa Bliss and challenge for the Women’s Tag titles in a fatal four-way match at WrestleMania 42.

Becky Lynch believes a match against Charlotte Flair would generate significant interest regardless of when it happens. The two superstars rose through NXT together as part of the Four Horsewomen and were two-thirds of the first women’s main event in WrestleMania history.

Speaking on the Cheap Heat podcast, Lynch addressed the possibility of another WrestleMania clash with Flair. The two have been friends and rivals throughout their WWE careers.

“I don’t see why not,” Lynch said about a possible WrestleMania match against Charlotte. “I would say it’s always on the docket. Any time we come back to fight each other there is always interest and intrigue. People always want to see us beat the bejesus out of each other. Isn’t that a fun place to be? Because I love beating the bejesus out of her.”

    Lynch Heading to WrestleMania 42

Lynch is currently scheduled to challenge AJ Lee for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42. The match represents another high-profile opportunity for The Man on WWE’s biggest stage.

The history between Lynch and Flair spans over a decade, from their early days in NXT through multiple championship feuds on the main roster.

  • Tom Brady Taunts WWE Again, Charlotte Flair and More Respond

Tom Brady Taunts WWE Again, Charlotte Flair and More Respond

NFL legend Tom Brady has continued his verbal sparring with WWE, calling the promotion “cute and scripted” in a recent interview. The NFL legend’s comments drew responses from WWE superstar Charlotte Flair and former WWE United States Champion Logan Paul.

Brady and Paul are both involved with the Fanatics Flag Football event taking place this weekend in Los Angeles. The two have traded barbs about WWE’s authenticity and the athleticism of its performers.

In an interview with  Sports Illustrated, Brady responded to a question about how many WWE wrestlers it would take to sack him by saying:

“All their stuff is so cute and scripted and they know what’s going on. In a football game, you don’t know it, so they wouldn’t even get near me.”

He added that WWE performers “wouldn’t even get near me” in an unscripted football game.

Charlotte Flair and Bella Twins Respond

Charlotte Flair responded to Brady’s comments on Twitter, mocking him for needing an offensive line to protect him.

“A lot of words to say, ‘If I had five guys to protect me, I might be ok.’”

Meanwhile, WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie Bella) later responded to the video, writing:

    “I bet I can sack you ?”

One of WWE’s newest Superstars, Danhausen, suggested he would curse the Super Bowl winner, writing:

“It would only take one @WWE superstar to CURSE Tim Bordy.”

Brady also trolled Logan Paul about his WWE rookie card on a Fanatics Collect livestream on March 18, 2026, calling him “not an athlete.”

There has been speculation that Brady might appear at WrestleMania 42, which will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Brady is a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. No confirmation has been given about Brady’s involvement with WrestleMania 42, but WWE has reportedly discussed the possibility with him.

Charlotte Flair Reveals Her Vision for Life After WWE: ‘I Want To Help People’

Multi-time WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair recently discussed her plans after her WWE career. ‘The Queen’ highlighted her desire to help others and invest in self-care initiatives. Flair said that she wants to use her resources to give back.

Speaking on Bloomberg Talks, Charlotte Flair said she isn’t sure what she’ll do after WWE, but she wants to focus on helping people.

She explained that she invested in self-care initiatives because she believes creating safe spaces for others is important. Flair added that she hopes to become the kind of supportive person she needed while growing up and sees these investments as a way to do that.

    Charlotte Flair said:

“I don’t know what my next step is after WWE, but what I do know is I want to help people. That’s why I invested in them because I know you can’t go wrong and helping create a safe space for people, I want to become the person that I needed growing up, and I felt like investing in self-care for everyone was like the perfect step in that and being their angel investor.”

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss recently defeated Giulia and Kiana James on last Friday’s SmackDown and have secured a title shot against the new Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Lash Legend.

  • Charlotte Flair Admits Mental Health Played Role in Career-Threatening Injury

Multi-time Women\’s Champion Charlotte Flair feels that her poor mental health contributed to the knee injury that she sustained in December 2023. \’The Queen\’ suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus on December 8th, 2023 during an edition of SmackDown. The injuries put her on the sidelines for over a year.

Speaking on Bloomberg Talks, Flair explained how her mental state may have contributed to her injury, citing imposter syndrome and anxiety. Charlotte Flair has revealed that she is now prioritizing self-care and mental wellness.

    Flair revealed:

\”I definitely think when I hurt my knee — I tore my ACL — I don’t think I was in the right state of mind, meaning whether it was imposter syndrome, that dialogue [of] how we talk to ourselves, that inner self-talk. I feel like I was in a very negative space and not opening up about it and the anxiety of, you know, being a woman that’s approaching 40, what that looks like, the demands. I want to be able to say, ‘I’m a woman and what I want more of is time.’ And all that pressure adding up, I feel like the reason I hurt my knee is because I wasn’t all there performing.\”

Charlotte Flair said that she considered herself the “iron woman.” When a knee injury forced her out of action, it made her realize that wrestling isn’t her entire identity. She now believes she has a voice beyond the ring and wants to use it to start bigger conversations and make important topics less taboo across different industries. She said:

“And for someone who has — I always looked at myself as the iron woman, and when my knee took me out, I was like, all I viewed myself was as a professional wrestler. Like, that’s all I am. And that’s not all I am. And I do have a voice and maybe this is the start of something bigger for me. Like, I love being Charlotte, but taking Charlotte to the next level and making these conversations more accessible or not taboo for people in any kind of industry, I think is so important.”

Flair is now an investor in Self-Care is for Everyone, an apparel company promoting positive messages and self-care tools.

    Charlotte Flair\’s Tag-Team Run

Flair recently enjoyed a WWE Women\’s Tag Team Championship reign with Alexa Bliss before dropping the titles.

However, they defeated Giulia & Kiana James on last Friday\’s SmackDown to earn a title shot against the new Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Lash Legend.

  • Kiana James on Pinning Charlotte Flair: \”Iron Sharpens Iron\”

The up-and-coming WWE Superstar Kiana James recently opened up about pinning multi-time Women\’s Champion Charlotte Flair on SmackDown and securing a spot in the Women\’s Elimination Chamber match. It was a memorable win for James, but that carried personal weight given how their relationship developed during her injury recovery.

Speaking with TMZ\’s Inside The Ring days before the Women\’s Elimination Chamber, James said that the moment was \’bittersweet\’ for her. She explained:

\”There\’s a bittersweet to that, because we\’ve become partners in the gym, training through knee rehab and things like that. But also, taking a step back and realizing — this is the most decorated woman in WWE of all time. Being able to say: you just did that. You just pinned the best of the best. It was a great moment for me and something I\’ll definitely remember for a long time.\”

Flair and James were spotted training together at Flatbacks Wrestling School during their overlapping rehabilitation periods, which made the eventual SmackDown qualifying win an unusual moment, defeating the woman who helped her get back.

    Iron Sharpens Iron

James was quick to point out that their personal and professional relationship survived the result just fine.

\”It\’s surreal — pinning Charlotte Flair,\” she said. \”But at the end of the day, our personal relationship and our professional relationship — iron sharpens iron. When you have someone in the locker room who makes you want to become better, I think win or lose, it\’s just: okay, now I have to step up. Our camaraderie kind of stays — we just push each other in that way.\”

As for how Flair is handling the loss? James kept it light.

\”If you see her Twitter, she\’s fine. She\’ll be fine. If I called her up and was like, \’Hey, let\’s get in the gym\’ — I think we could have a gym session, push each other, and be all right.\”

Mentored by the Best in the Building

Flair isn\’t the only top name James has leaned on. She\’s been deliberately building a mentorship network since arriving on the main roster, seeking out whoever she can learn from.

\”On the main roster, obviously I have a relationship with Charlotte Flair, so she\’s been a great mentor — running things by her,\” James said. \”And then recently we\’ve been doing more live events, so I\’ve been able to pick Cody\’s brain and ask him his opinion on things. It\’s so wild to have people of such stature within the company accessible to me. Using your resources, going to these people and saying I see the success you\’ve had and I want to get to that level — pulling from their experiences has been really beneficial.\”

Earlier in her career, it was Tyler Breeze and Shawn Spears at Flatbacks who shaped her approach.

\”From my very first day of training up until this week, they\’ve continued to guide me throughout my entire career,\” she said. \”Be a sponge — I took that literally.\”

James is prepping for the Women\’s Elimination Chamber on February 28th with a WrestleMania 42 title opportunity on the line.

  • Ric Flair Clarifies \”I Will Never Wrestle Again\” After Return Tease

Ric Flair has shut down speculation about a potential return to the ring, emphatically declaring on social media that he will never wrestle again.

The 76-year-old WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter on February 6 to clarify comments he made during a virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest one day earlier, where he discussed the possibility of facing fellow legend Ricky Morton.

\”First, Let Me Clear Something Up! I Will Never Wrestle Again,\” Flair wrote, before promoting an upcoming appearance in Charleston, South Carolina. \”I\’m Heading To Flair Country. Charleston, South Carolina Get Ready! The Nature Boy And @FitermanSports Are Taking Over @SpookyEmpire This Weekend!\”

What got us here: is Ric Flair returning?

During Thursday\’s virtual signing, Flair had revealed that someone wanted him to wrestle Morton and admitted he was \”thinking about it,\” though he noted they were \”way off on financial terms.\”

The Nature Boy explained that having a potential match would give him motivation for his gym workouts, saying, \”Sometimes I need something to motivate me, man. Just to go to the gym every day for nothing is…\”

    https://www.facebook.com/KSWrestlefest/videos/2086216692153559/?cft[0]=AZakzXE493zpKLRQ_L9oGOwhBJRkvbeIFKRy-rgQHOfxX1ta4XY5sklaHL9eMgstEOnJIGd_P_HHZ2-I2rZx1AUpvfROy5EJ-K6sGihujKOuurDDKfecIudsgZBdgPIjmiTkzyphLoyJuZuSWhPiJ2hyadEDCxEumNRKyG6Qm2Cc2vegi_iftbdSInQ0-AanzMfqPq5gomlV2FgG_si_A-Jp&tn=%2CO%2CP-R

The comments quickly went viral, prompting concern from fans and even Flair\’s daughter Charlotte, who quote-tweeted the news with a firm \”Absolutely not.\”

    The Retired Nature Boy

Flair last competed in July 2022 at an event billed as \”Ric Flair\’s Last Match\” in Nashville, Tennessee, where he teamed with Andrade El Idolo to defeat Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal. The match drew controversy after Flair revealed he passed out multiple times during the bout due to dehydration.

The 16-time world champion has retired from wrestling multiple times throughout his career, most famously at WrestleMania 24 in 2008 following his emotional match against Shawn Michaels. However, financial needs led him back to the ring for runs in TNA and eventually the 2022 comeback.

In 2025, Flair battled several health issues including skin cancer and a rotator cuff injury, though he announced last July that he is now cancer-free.

With Thursday\’s clarification, Flair appears to have firmly closed the door on any future in-ring appearances, choosing instead to focus on personal appearances and autograph signings.

  • Nia Jax Confirms Charlotte Flair Altercation: \’I Two-Pieced Her\’

Nia Jax has confirmed that her in-ring altercation with Charlotte Flair was real, revealing she threw legitimate punches after her warnings were ignored.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Jax addressed the incident that left the live crowd in stunned silence.

\”You know, it was a miscommunication. I will say I\’m going to call it a miscommunication. Things got heated, like legit got heated in that match. And I did warn her a few times to stop, like to chill out, and she didn\’t. And so then I two-pieced her.\”

    Crowd Goes Silent

Jax described the surreal atmosphere in the arena when the situation escalated beyond the planned match.

\”When I did it, when it happened in the moment, I couldn\’t hear anything because I was angry—I was legit pissed. So I didn\’t hear anything but then when I felt the dead silence of the crowd… I think the crowd was kind of like, they\’re trying to figure it out, like is this really happening? And I could hear Corey Graves. Corey Graves\’ commentary is the only thing I could hear because the crowd was dead silent because I think they were kind of in shock.\”

Despite the heated exchange, Jax confirmed that she and Flair have since resolved their issues.

\”We came back and once we were calm and level-headed we all kind of were just like, all right, it got kind of out of hand. Sometimes it happens. We started swinging.\”

When asked directly if they\’re good now, Jax confirmed: \”Oh yeah. Yeah we\’re good.\”

The two were able to \”redeem themselves\” with subsequent matches after the incident.

  • Watch: IYO SKY Delivers Signature Trash Can Dive at Survivor Series: WarGames

IYO SKY continued her legendary WarGames tradition Saturday night at Petco Park, launching her signature trash can dive from the top of the cage during the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series 2025.

SKY perched atop the cage as AJ Lee attempted to hand her the trash can but couldn’t reach. Rhea Ripley solved the problem by lifting Lee onto her shoulders, allowing SKY to grab the can and place it over her head before launching herself with a Swanton Bomb across all the opposing competitors.

The move has become synonymous with SKY’s WarGames appearances. This marked SKY’s sixth WarGames match, making her the only wrestler on the entire roster to compete in the stipulation every year since WWE began featuring it.

The high-risk maneuver helped propel Team Rhea to victory, as AJ Lee ultimately secured the win by forcing Becky Lynch to tap out to the Black Widow. Charlotte Flair, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, and AJ Lee defeated Asuka, Kairi Sane, Lash Legend, Nia Jax, and Becky Lynch in the opening match of the premium live event.

SKY has previously spoken about the terrifying nature of the stunt. At a previous post-show press conference, she explained her mindset: “It’s completely…it’s so dark, I can’t see anything. But I just jump off. That’s it. So that’s it, that simple. I trust the trash can.”

Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 took place at Petco Park in San Diego, California, marking the fourth consecutive year WWE has featured WarGames matches at the event and the first time the brutal steel cage match was held outdoors.
