Charlotte Flair was attacked by Jade Cargill and her allies following WWE Clash in Italy PLE, with Alexa Bliss responding angrily on social media after the assault on her tag-team partner.
Flair made a surprise appearance during the event to help Rhea Ripley retain the WWE Women’s Title against Cargill. After B-Fab and Michin interfered on Cargill’s behalf, Flair emerged to even the odds despite existing tensions between herself and Ripley.
In a video dropped by WWE following the show, Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin turned their attention to Flair in a backstage attack, with WWE personnel attempting to intervene.
Alexa Bliss Reacts
The attack drew a sharp response from Bliss, who is Flair’s tag-team partner. Bliss posted on social media:
“Yall messed up. no one touches @MsCharlotteWWE.”
The two sides have recent history. Bliss, Flair, and Ripley previously teamed up at Saturday Night’s Main Event, where the trio lost to Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin.
