John Cena retired from in-ring competition last year, and his recent post hints at Brock Lesnar hanging up his boots this year. The Cenation Leader took to Instagram to post a photo of the Beast Incarnate as part of his mysterious social media activity.
Although it could have been just to wish Lesnar a happy birthday, Cena has done the same before with other legends ahead of their retirements. Cena also hinted at Lesnar’s retirement during his final interview with Chris Van Vliet before wrestling his last match last December. The Never Seen 17 said:
“This attraction where we are going to build until he goes into the sunset which I think is in Minnesota.”
Brock Lesnar returns to RAW this week
After defeating Oba Femi at Clash in Italy, Brock Lesnar returned on the episode of RAW following Night of Champions. The Beast attacked Femi, prompting The Ruler to challenge him to a third and final match. Lesnar accepted under the Hell in a Cell stipulation, setting the stage for their collision at SummerSlam 2026.
On last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, WWE announced that Lesnar will return on the July 13 episode of RAW. He is likely to get into another confrontation with Oba Femi. It will be interesting to see what happens when The Beast resurfaces.
