John Cena has revealed his fears.

WWE has made very little mention of the tournament named after the Cenation Leader since its original announcement at the Backlash PPV last month. A lot of fans have been curious about this silence from the promotion after the 17-time world champion hyped his announcement as something that will shock the very foundation of the company.

While talking about the tournament during his most recent interview with US Weekly, the WWE veteran revealed a potential reason that could be delaying the reveal of more details for the tournament.

We’ve Got To Figure Out The Fan Vote: John Cena

The Hollywood star was asked what he can tell fans about the tournament. John Cena first mentioned how he would personally like to invite talents to participate in the competition. He then commented on the controversial fan voting aspect which has been announced, and noted that they have to figure out a way so the voting can remain fair:

“We’ve got to figure out the fan vote. I do not want it sabotaged. I do not want it hijacked. I know there’s a lot of burner accounts out there and there’s a lot of bots out there. Audience participation is what I want, like fair audience participation, because I’m the success story. I’m trying to encompass my journey in an evening.”

John also shared hope that the upcoming tournament will follow the footsteps of the Arnold Classic. Cena mentioned how the legendary actor was the primary attraction of the tournament when it was first introduced but it has since found a life of its own.
