AEW Dynamite Preview June 17 2026

AEW Dynamite airs tonight (Wednesday, June 17, 2026) from Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land in the Houston area, live on TBS and HBO Max starting at 8 PM ET.

All Elite Wrestling rolls into Texas with Forbidden Door less than two weeks out, and tonight’s card is built almost entirely around that June 28 co-promotion. The main event pits Team MJF against Team Mark Briscoe in a 12-man tag, the women’s Owen Hart Cup semifinals continue, and two men set to meet in the tournament final come face-to-face. Here’s everything you need to know including start times, how to watch, and the full card.

AEW Dynamite Match Card for June 17, 2026

Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s show:

Team MJF vs. Team Mark Briscoe (12-Man Tag Team Match)

AEW World Champion MJF and Mark Briscoe will each pick their squads tonight ahead of their multi-man steel cage match at Forbidden Door. Once the teams are set, the two sides collide immediately in a 12-man tag, giving fans a preview of the cage war before the PPV.

Mercedes Mone vs. Hazuki (Women’s Owen Hart Cup Semifinal)

Mone faces World Wonder Ring Stardom’s Hazuki with a spot in the tournament final on the line. The winner advances to Forbidden Door to meet the victor of Athena and Maya World, which is scheduled for Collision this Saturday.

Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland Meet Face-to-Face

Both men have already booked their places in the men’s Owen Hart Cup final at Forbidden Door. Tonight they share the ring for a face-to-face confrontation, with AEW teasing competing motivations: Ospreay chasing a long-stated goal and Strickland chasing power.

Road to AEW Forbidden Door 2026

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 takes place Sunday, June 28 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The event is co-produced by AEW, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, CMLL, and World Wonder Ring Stardom.

Tonight’s show sets multiple PPV pieces in motion, locking in the steel cage teams and clarifying both Owen Hart Cup finals. AEW is also expected to announce additional Forbidden Door matches during the broadcast.
