Bayley will finally get her hands on Lyra Valkyria. On the July 13 episode of Monday Night Raw from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Bayley confirmed that the two former partners will square off at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18 from Madison Square Garden.
“You’re not the GOAT, you’re a doormat. Your face doesn’t belong on the posters. You drag down everyone you work with, and you’ve always been the worst of the Four Horsewomen.”
The confirmation came during a face-to-face segment Bayley had demanded a week earlier. She asked Valkyria to join her in the ring and made a case for moving past the bad blood, only for Valkyria to accuse Bayley of holding her back for over a year.
When Bayley revealed the two had a match booked for MSG, Valkyria tried to jump her. Bayley got the early advantage before Valkyria turned it around and left her laid out, sending the crowd home with a preview of Saturday’s grudge match.
The bout closes a story that has been building since June 22. On that night in London, Valkyria and Bayley failed to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from Brie Bella and Paige, with Valkyria taking the pinfall. Frustration boiled over immediately. Valkyria attacked her partner after the bell, planted her with the Nightwing, and left her motionless as officials tried to intervene.
Valkyria addressed the betrayal the following week, framing it as the product of months of pent-up frustration rather than a snap decision. Becky Lynch has poked at the fallout in character on social media, positioning herself as someone who saw it coming all along. The turn gave Valkyria a fresh direction as a heel and left Bayley without a partner heading into the summer.
Saturday Night’s Main Event at MSG This Weekend

The MSG addition slots into an already loaded card. CM Punk and Cody Rhodes team up against Gunther and Sami Zayn in the advertised main event, while Paige and Brie Bella defend the Women’s Tag Team Titles against Fatal Influence’s Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley. Danhausen faces JD McDonagh, and World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns appears alongside Knicks star and reigning NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson for a segment inside the arena both men can call home turf.
Brunson accepted Reigns’ invitation this week, marking the first Saturday Night’s Main Event at the Garden since 2007. The appearance is expected to be a segment rather than a physical spot, as Brunson recently underwent wrist surgery and is expected to resume basketball activities later this summer ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Saturday Night’s Main Event streams live July 18 at 8 p.m. ET on Peacock in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
