Another word the \’very\’ wealthy McMahon discouraged was \”that,\” which he felt signaled a lack of proper diction. JBL gave the example in which commentators were required to specify whether a left or right arm was being targeted, rather than ambiguously referring to \”that\” arm.
JBL initially joined WWE\’s commentary team in 2006 but returned to active in-ring competition in late 2007. Following Jerry Lawler\’s heart attack in 2012, JBL stepped back behind the commentary desk, where he remained a fixture on Raw and SmackDown until 2017.

In 2024 alone, several major names, including Ken Shamrock, Mick Foley, Rob Van Dam, and \’Diamond\’ Dallas Page all confirmed that they are under Legends Contracts.
As for Henry, he exited AEW in May of this year and has since found himself back on WWE TV, appearing on Raw in August alongside his son Jacob. It\’s unclear when Henry will next appear for WWE, but the gesture shared with him this week demonstrates that WWE is always ready to recognize the work of its legends.

Kofi Kingston has shown no signs of making amends with his mother over the holidays after what transpired between the two on WWE Raw. During this week\’s episode, Kingston mother disapproved of her son and Xavier Woods turning on Big E and walked out when Kofi requested a hug.

In an interview with Donut Shop Chronicles, Sabu spoke candidly about his future in wrestling. He revealed that he could manage one more year of a demanding schedule or up to two years with a lighter workload, reaffirming his desire to compete in a few more matches.
“I’d like to wrestle forever, but I know I can’t. I’m getting a lot older. Probably another year, maybe two years. I can do another hard schedule for a year. I can do an easy schedule for two years,” Sabu stated.

AEW and Guns N\’ Roses have joined forces once again, this time releasing a new video to promote the Worlds End 2024 pay-per-view. The video showcases some of the major storylines leading into the event, including the heated battles in the Continental Classic and the evolving AEW World Championship picture.
Throughout November, AEW utilized November Rain by Guns N\’ Roses as the theme for its programming, including the promotion of AEW Full Gear. Now, the partnership continues to build excitement for Worlds End 2024.

AEW\’s MJF has already proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the ring, and now fans have caught their first official look at him in Happy Gilmore 2. On Christmas Day, Netflix shared the trailer for Happy Gilmore 2, where MJF can be seen in a huddle with Adam Sandler and other cast members.
MJF will portray one of Happy Gilmore’s sons, starring alongside Adam Sandler, Julie Bowen, and Christopher McDonald. The role is a step up for the former AEW World Champion, who saw the majority of his scenes in The Iron Claw, including a speaking role, cut from the final product.
This role signifies a significant milestone in MJF’s acting career, complementing his other upcoming projects, including The Floaters and Stranglehold.
