  • Looking Back At Every WWE Title Change On Christmas Day

Christmas Day has arrived, and people around the world are unwrapping gifts from their loved ones. For the Superstars of WWE, nothing compares to the gift of a championship victory, and a few have had the honor of capturing gold on December 25.

Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins – WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

On the Christmas Day 2017 edition of WWE Raw, Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins defeated The Bar to claim the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships. While both were experienced champions in their own right, this marked the first—and only—reign for the unlikely duo as a team.

Their reign lasted 34 days before ending at the 2018 Royal Rumble, where they dropped the titles back to Cesaro and Sheamus. Unfortunately, this championship win would also be Jordan\’s last, as injuries later forced him into retirement. Today, Jordan remains a key figure in WWE as a producer.

Rusev – WWE United States Championship

The December 25, 2018 edition of WWE SmackDown was a celebration of not just one but three special occasions. On Christmas Day, Rusev captured the United States Championship, a victory that coincided with both his birthday and the fan-favorite \”Rusev Day.\”

This marked Rusev\’s third reign as U.S. Champion, which ended at the 2019 Royal Rumble when Shinsuke Nakamura reclaimed the title. Though this victory would be Rusev\’s final championship in WWE, the Bulgarian Brute ensured it was a memorable one.

Big E – WWE Intercontinental Championship

In 2020, Big E cemented his solo career during the Christmas Day edition of WWE SmackDown. On that night, he silenced Sami Zayn\’s claims of conspiracies by defeating him to win the Intercontinental Championship for the second time.

Big E\’s reign lasted 106 days, culminating in a loss to Apollo Crews at WrestleMania 37: Sunday in April 2021. This triumph was only a preview of his future success, as Big E ended the same year as WWE Champion.

  • Wrestlers Share How They\’re Celebrating The Holidays

Christmas Day has finally arrived and the stars of pro wrestling are enjoying the festive season with their families and loved ones. Some wrestlers have taken to X to share their festive spirit, including Rhea Ripley, who wished a Merry Christmas to her fellow Aussies.

WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Nathan Frazer was pleased to celebrate with the title he currently holds with Axiom. The pair\’s next challengers were decided on this week\’s WWE NXT.

Despite being on the naughty list, Bronson Reed wants Santa to bring him a World Championship in 2025, and vowed to get it himself if Kris Kringle won\’t oblige.

Former WWE Superstars Tenille Dashwood and Mike Rallis recreated that Love Actually scene to give the latest on their ongoing pregnancy.

AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone also had holiday movies on the brain, but opted for a recreation of The Grinch.

Zelina Vega is pleased to be sharing the Holidays with her husband, AEW\’s Malakai Black. The Dutch wrestler has updated the couple\’s wedding rings, and asked Vega \”Will you continue to be my wife for the rest of our lives?\”

WWE United States Women\’s Champion Chelsea Green has been ringing in the big day in New York City alongside her husband Matt Cardona.

WWE NXT\’s Ridge Holland was far from being in the festive mood as he made clear on social media.

While John Cena used the festive season to remind fans of his mantra to always share their best selves, even in the face of adversity.

However you\’re celebrating, we at SEScoops would like to wish all of our readers a very happy holidays!

  • Santa Claus Crashes WWE NXT As Number One Contenders Are Crowned

Santa Claus may be exceptionally busy this time of year, but Kris Kringle still managed to make an appearance on the latest episode of WWE NXT. During the December 24 show, the Christmas Chaos fatal four-way tag match featured Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, the No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights and Myles Borne, The D’Angelo Family’s Channing \”Stacks\” Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino, and OTM’s Bronco Nima and Lucien Price.

The action-packed match saw all four teams vying for control. Hank and Tank were eliminated from the equation after interference from Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe. As victory seemed within reach for The D’Angelo Family, a surprise appearance by “Santa Claus” interrupted matters. This not-so-jolly Saint Nick attacked Tony D’Angelo, distracting his allies and creating an opening for OTM. Bronco Nima and Lucien Price capitalized on the chaos, securing the win.

Santa was later unmasked to reveal Ridge Holland, who appears to have his sights set on the NXT North American Championship. Meanwhile, OTM’s win positions them as the next challengers for the NXT Tag Team Champions, Fraxiom. Nathan Frazer and Axiom, currently in their second reign, have held the titles since August and boast an impressive combined reign of over 230 days.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from WWE NXT and what awaits Fraxiom now that new challengers have been crowned.

  • WWE & Vince McMahon Renew Calls For Arbitration In Janel Grant Lawsuit

Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is once again seeking to compel arbitration in the case filed against him by Janel Grant. In a December 23, filing submitted by his attorney, Jessica T. Rosenburg, McMahon formally requested arbitration, citing the Federal Arbitration Act.

    The filing states:

\”Defendant Vincent K. McMahon, by and through his undersigned attorneys, respectfully moves this Court for an order compelling arbitration of this matter pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. §§ 3, 4, for the reasons set forth more fully in the accompanying memorandum of law and Declaration of Vincent K. McMahon. Defendant McMahon further moves the Court for such other and further relief as the Court may deem just and proper.\”

McMahon’s motion was supported by a memorandum of law that emphasizes the terms of a January 2022 agreement between McMahon and Grant, which required any disputes to be resolved through arbitration. The documents allege that McMahon and Grant were engaged in a consensual relationship for three years and that McMahon agreed to pay Grant $3 million to ensure confidentiality. According to McMahon, Grant violated the agreement by filing a public lawsuit, leading him to pay only $1 million of the promised amount.

Janel Grant\’s Attorney Responds to Allegations Against WWE\’s Lee Fitting

WWE, represented by Daniel J. Toal, filed a similar motion the same day. WWE’s filing also requested that the court schedule oral arguments on the matter, in addition to any other relief deemed appropriate.

McMahon maintains that the agreement remains enforceable and insists that an arbitrator should resolve the dispute. As of now, Grant’s legal team has not filed a response.

  • WWE Hired CM Punk Without Watching Any Of His Matches

CM Punk\’s arrival in WWE in 2006 came after the company hadn\’t watched any of his matches, according to Paul Heyman. Speaking to Inside The Ropes, Heyman recalled Punk being asked to emulate Jeff Hardy in OVW, and revealed that WWE\’s decision to sign the Chicago-Made star was based on online hype alone.

\”They said, ‘Do one of those flippy-dippy things like Jeff Hardy.’ He said, ‘I don’t do flippy-dippy things like Jeff Hardy.’ He looked at them and asked, ‘Have you ever watched any of my matches?’ They said, ‘No, We just read about you on the internet, and that’s why we hired you.\”

Heyman expressed disbelief at WWE’s approach, calling it “f***ing ridiculous,” but the gamble paid off for both the company and Punk. Within a year of his on-screen debut, Punk had risen to prominence as one of WWE’s top stars, and by 2008, he\’d captured the World Heavyweight Championship.

Never-Before-Seen CM Punk Title Revealed After 17 Years

CM Punk and Paul Heyman recently reunited on WWE TV, with Punk aiding the OG Bloodline on the promise of a favor by the WWE Hall of Famer. It remains to be seen what that favor will be, but Punk certainly doesn\’t have to worry about WWE not paying attention to his matches anymore.

Stay tuned for the latest on CM Punk, who will compete against Seth Rollins during WWE Raw\’s debut on Netflix on January 6.

  • JBL: I Don\’t Doubt Ashley Massaro\’s Allegations Against WWE/McMahon

During Netflix\’s Mr. McMahon, the documentary series looked at claims made against WWE and Vince McMahon before her passing in May 2019. On the Something to Wrestle podcast, JBL weighed in on Massaro\’s claims. While he certainly hopes what Massaro alleged did not happen, the WWE Hall of Famer has no reason to doubt the late wrestler.

“They’re horrific allegations, and I hope they weren’t true. I have no idea if they were true or not. I don’t doubt Ashley at all, by the way. I had no idea.”

Massaro had alleged that she was sexually assaulted during a WWE tour of a U.S. military base in Kuwait by an individual posing as a doctor. She further claimed that WWE, while apologizing for the incident, discouraged her from reporting it to authorities, fearing it could damage their relationship with the military.

At the time of her allegations, WWE denied any knowledge of the assault or pressuring Massaro to remain silent. However, in February 2024, an attorney representing John Laurinaitis stated that \”most upper-level management at some time became aware of the allegations.\”

That same month, Vice News reported additional allegations from Massaro, including claims that Vince McMahon \”preyed on female WWE wrestlers.\” She also alleged that McMahon attempted to derail her career after she rejected his advances.

Massaro, who was with WWE from 2005 to 2008, later transitioned to a career as a radio DJ in New York. McMahon, WWE, and Laurinaitis are currently facing a lawsuit from Janel Grant, who alleges that she was sexually abused and trafficked during her tenure.

  • Kofi Kingston Lashes Out At Fans Over Mom\’s Rejection On WWE Raw

Kofi Kingston has blamed the fans after his own mother rejected his attempt at a hug during this week\’s WWE Raw from Boston\’s TD Garden. During the show, Kingston and Xavier Woods faced heavy boos as they attempted to justify their betrayal of Big E earlier this month during the ten-year celebration of The New Day\’s legacy in WWE.

Kingston noticed his mother at ringside and publicly criticized the crowd for their hostile reaction, particularly in front of his family. However, when the former WWE Champion sought a hug, his mother rebuked him and walked away, leaving Kingston visibly stunned.

Kingston took to X to express his frustration. Rather than reflect on his actions, he doubled down on blaming the fans for the night\’s events, declaring that he would \”never forgive\” them for the incident.

The family drama was only part of The New Day\’s turbulent night. Later, Kingston and Woods attempted to align with Dominik Mysterio, a figure notorious for his own betrayal of his father, Rey Mysterio. Despite admitting his disdain for Big E, Dominik criticized The New Day, claiming their actions went too far even for him.

The pair also ran into Rey Mysterio, who last week kicked The New Day out of the locker room. Rey extended an olive branch, suggesting that a sincere apology could help restore their standing among their peers. However, Kingston and Woods dismissed the idea, prompting Rey to warn them that \”New Day Sucks\” chants might be their new reality.

  • The Bloodline Wreak Havoc In Surprise WWE Raw Appearance

Solo Sikoa\’s Bloodline wreaked havoc during the closing moments of this week’s WWE Raw, targeting two of the red brand’s most popular stars. In the main event, Drew McIntyre defeated Sami Zayn, extending his winning streak over the ‘Honorary Uce,’ a streak mentioned on commentary.

After the match, McIntyre continued his assault on Zayn, prompting Jey Uso to intervene in an attempt to save his ally. Jey was ambushed by Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu. The Bloodline proceeded to dismantle Zayn, with Sikoa delivering a Samoan Spike to the former Intercontinental Champion, marking a chaotic conclusion to the episode.

This appearance follows McIntyre’s confrontation with the Bloodline on last week’s SmackDown. During the encounter, the Scottish Warrior hinted at an inevitable clash with Sikoa despite their shared animosity toward Roman Reigns and his allies. Sikoa’s impact on McIntyre’s career has been significant, as his interference at WWE Clash at the Castle in September 2022 cost McIntyre the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Sikoa\’s Bloodline faction recently suffered a setback at Survivor Series: WarGames, where they teamed with Bronson Reed but lost to the OG Bloodline (including Zayn and Jey Uso) and CM Punk. The grueling match left several members sidelined with injuries: Bronson Reed sustained a leg injury, Tama Tonga is recovering from a bicep tear, and Jimmy Uso, who recently returned, had been dealing with a broken toe.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline, as the Tribal Chief prepares to do battle with Roman Reigns during Raw\’s debut on Netflix.

  • Bandido Confirms Injury After ROH Final Battle Return

At Ring of Honor Final Battle, Bandido made his highly anticipated return after an 18-month hiatus due to a wrist injury. Unfortunately, it has been reported that the masked star suffered a concussion during his comeback. Bandido addressed the situation on Instagram, confirming his injury but reassuring fans that he plans to return stronger than ever.

“All I can do is thank God for allowing me to wake up another day after all that has been through!. The blow was in a delicate area of my head, now just to wait till there is no brain inflammation. Thank you to all my people who have been messaging me asking about my current status!!. It’s been hard to cope with these days with myself, too much frustration runs over my head. The hardest battle of my life is coming, with myself!! All I can say is that I will try to return a thousand and one times to the squad!! so I achieve it at some point or stay trying…!

\”Neither you, nor me, nor anyone will hit as hard as life but no matter how hard you do it!” No matter how hard you resist and keep moving forward, that’s how you win” ROCKY BALBOA”

Bandido’s return came after the ROH World Championship match, where he intervened to save Matt Cardona from a post-match assault by The Learning Tree. A former ROH World Champion himself, Bandido last competed in June 2023, when he sustained a severe wrist injury. Following the incident, he underwent wrist surgery and a subsequent operation in December of the same year.

Stay connected with SEScoops for updates on Bandido’s recovery and his journey back to the ring after this latest setback.

  • Lilian Garcia Shares How Infestation Almost Ended Her Announcing Career

Lilian Garcia has made her triumphant return to WWE programming, but only after overcoming a career-threatening health ordeal. On Instagram, Garcia opened up about her struggle with severe breathing problems caused by mold infestations in three different homes.

\”It caused severe inflammation in my lungs. That inflammation was so severe that it wreaked havoc on my vocal cords and projection,\” Garcia shared.

The situation worsened due to a gas leak, ultimately forcing Garcia to step away from her role as an announcer for the Professional Fighters League. Thankfully, after a challenging recovery process, Garcia expressed gratitude to her doctors, medical staff, and the power of prayer for helping her heal.

Lilian Garcia Comments On WWE Return, Samantha Irvin’s Exit

Earlier this year, Garcia returned to WWE, taking over for Samantha Irvin following Irvin\’s abrupt departure. Reflecting on her journey, Garcia expressed deep appreciation for being able to perform again after enduring such a harrowing experience.

\”To be back in the WWE, and now leading worship tomorrow, this is why this means so much to me—because it was almost stripped away.\”

Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Lilian Garcia, as the WWE Raw announcer is thrilled to be able to announce once more.

  • Anthony Mackie: Samoa Joe Outshined Veteran Actors In Twisted Metal Role

Anthony Mackie was deeply impressed by the acting talent of AEW\’s Samoa Joe, the 46-year-old actor revealed this week. Mackie and Joe both star in Peacock\’s Twisted Metal series, which recently wrapped filming for its second season.

In a conversation with Abbott Elementary star Tyler James Williams for Variety’s Actors on Actors series, Mackie reflected on the unexpected talent Joe brought to the set.

“I was blown away by this dude from the first moment he stepped on set… He was acting his ass off.\”

Samoa Joe portrays the physical embodiment of Twisted Metal’s iconic Sweet Tooth, while Will Arnett (BoJack Horseman, LEGO Batman) provides the character’s voice. Despite not speaking, Joe vividly conveyed Sweet Tooth’s twisted psyche through his physical performance.

\”It was literally like he was doing Vaudeville-type shtick… I don’t think a veteran actor could have done what he did.”

Twisted Metal is based on the popular vehicular combat game series of the same name. The story follows John Doe (Mackie), who must traverse the post-apocalyptic United States to deliver a mysterious package. The cast also includes Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), with Neve Campbell (Scream) appearing in a recurring role.

In AEW, Samoa Joe was written off television in July after an attack by The Learning Tree, allowing him time to film Twisted Metal’s second season. Now that filming has concluded, speculation is mounting about Joe’s return to AEW. Fans may soon see the former World Champion back in the ring—and back on the mic—sooner than expected.

  • Never-Before-Seen WWE ECW Title Revealed After 17 Years

Over the decades, WWE has played host to several championships, many of which undergo re-designs as the company wants a fresh look. This week, fans caught their first glimpse at a never-before-seen version of the ECW World Championship, over 14 years after the Extreme brand came to an end.

The reveal was featured on the WWE Vault YouTube channel, showcasing a silver-plated design with a nameplate for CM Punk. The Best in the World held the ECW Championship from September 2007 until January 2008, when he dropped the title to Chavo Guerrero.

Despite its striking look, the design never made it to television as the belt \”was not received the same way it wanted to be received.\” It\’s also possible that the idea of the babyface CM Punk replacing the original ECW title design might have alienated fans nostalgic for the iconic Extreme brand.

Instead, WWE unveiled a revamped ECW Championship design during Mark Henry\’s reign in July 2008. This silver-eagle design remained in use until the closure of WWE\’s ECW in February 2010, paving the way for the rise of the original WWE NXT.

  • TNA Replacing WWE On Sportsnet in Canada in 2025

TNA Wrestling is set to move to Sportsnet in Canada in 2025, a significant milestone for the promotion in the spot previously held by WWE. This multi-year agreement not only provides TNA iMPACT with a stable broadcast home but also grants Canadian fans access to TNA\’s diverse library and additional programming, including TNA Xplosion and TNA in 60. Upcoming TNA Wrestling shows are already listed on Sportsnet.

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2024/12/\"https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2024/12/\"

TNA, as Impact Wrestling, previously aired in Canada on the Fight Network and Game TV, which are both owned by TNA’s parent company, Anthem Sports & Entertainment. In the United States, TNA programming will continue to air on AXS TV.

This deal coincides with the conclusion of Sportsnet’s decade-long partnership with WWE. Starting January 6, all WWE programming—including Raw, WWE NXT, SmackDown, and Premium Live Events—will transition to Netflix in Canada.

This move to Sportsnet, and replacing WWE in the role, marks the latest major move by TNA, which relaunched this past January with its Hard to Kill pay-per-view. Since then, TNA has continued to show growth thanks to its roster of talented performers and partnership with WWE NXT.

For the latest updates on TNA Wrestling, stay tuned to SEScoops as the promotion builds toward a pivotal 2025.

  • Tony Khan Announces End Of AEW Rampage \”For The Foreseeable Future\”

AEW Rampage, a staple of Tony Khan\’s promotion for over three years, is going off the air, at least for the time being. During the December 22 AEW Dynamite tapings at the Hammerstein Ballroom, Tony Khan announced that AEW would be recording the final episode of Rampage “for the foreseeable future\” and that this final episode is scheduled to air on December 27.

The announcement marks the conclusion of a show that debuted on August 13, 2021, as AEW’s second weekly program on TNT. Rampage made an immediate impact with its premiere, where Christian Cage defeated Kenny Omega to capture the TNA/IMPACT Championship.

A week later, Rampage delivered one of wrestling’s most iconic moments—CM Punk’s highly anticipated return to professional wrestling. This episode drew 1.126 million viewers, making it the highest-rated installment in the show’s history.

Despite its explosive start, Rampage would struggle to win over fans, wth a major factor being its challenging 10 p.m. ET time slot. The show was frequently preempted by NBA, NHL, and March Madness broadcasts, which impacted its viewership. Once Collision launched in June 2023, Rampage quickly became AEW\’s \’C-Show\’ with important developments being kept for Collision or Dynamite.

What Else Happened During the AEW Dynamite Taping?

Suspicions arose about Rampage\’s fate when it was reported that AEW\’s new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery covered AEW Dynamite and Collision, but not the Friday show. Fans are now wondering whether this is merely a temporary hiatus as Khan alluded to, or if we\’ve seen the last of AEW Rampage.

  • How Paul Heyman Shaped Mr. Kennedy\’s TNA Wrestling Run

Paul Heyman may have never officially worked for TNA, but the man now known as Roman Reigns\’ \”Wise Man\” played a significant behind-the-scenes role in Ken Anderson\’s TNA journey. After his WWE release in 2009, the former Mr. Kennedy debuted in TNA under his real name in January 2010.

Speaking on the Rewind, Recap, Relive podcast, Anderson reflected on his time working with Heyman in WWE, crediting the Hall of Famer for coming up with the \”Mr. Kennedy\” name. Anderson also revealed that Heyman continued to assist him with promos during his TNA tenure, despite not being affiliated with the company.

\”I would oftentimes call Paul Heyman and say, ‘Hey, here’s what they have for me. Can you help me make sense of this?’ And he would fire me off an email and rewrite what they had written for me. So he, in a sense, was writing for TNA at one time.\”

Although Heyman never officially joined TNA, his influence extended beyond WWE, helping talents like Anderson refine their craft. Heyman eventually returned to WWE in 2012 after a six-year hiatus, while Anderson remained with TNA, where he became a two-time World Champion before his 2016 departure following a failed on-the-spot drug test.

Today, fans can catch Heyman regularly on WWE television following his return after an attack by The Bloodline earlier this year. Stay tuned to SEScoops for updates on Paul Heyman, whose impact continues to resonate across the wrestling industry.

  • Fans Throw Toilet Paper at Ricochet During Continental Classic Match

Fans in New York\’s Hammerstein Ballroom gave Ricochet a frosty reception during the latest episode of Collision, where he faced Will Ospreay in the Continental Classic. While Ospreay’s entrance was greeted with streamers—a traditional show of respect—Ricochet’s arrival was met with a less-than-welcome gesture: fans throwing toilet paper.

The incident visibly angered Ricochet, who retaliated by hurling a roll back into the crowd. Meanwhile, Ospreay found the moment hilarious, laughing from outside the ring and bowing to the fans who hurled the paper in the first place.

The crowd’s disdain didn’t stop there. They booed Ricochet after he stumbled while attempting to step onto the ropes, to which Ricochet responded with a one-finger salute.

Despite the jeers, Ricochet ultimately secured a victory by executing a Spirit Gun on Ospreay, taking advantage of a distracted referee. This win placed Ricochet in joint-first position in the Gold League with nine points.

Ricochet’s recent actions certainly fuel rumors of a heel turn, with hints of a potential alliance with the Hurt Syndicate. Stay tuned to SEScoops for updates on Ricochet as he navigates his role in the Continental Classic and his contentious relationship with fans.

  • How Netflix Plans to Handle WWE Raw’s Extensive Archive

On January 6, WWE Raw will debut on Netflix, marking the beginning of a groundbreaking partnership between WWE and the streaming giant. This multi-billion-dollar deal signals a new era for WWE\’s flagship show, but it also raises questions about the future of its extensive archive and the accessibility of past and live events. Netflix has provided some clarity on these topics, revealing plans for both archival content and live programming.

One key question centers on WWE’s vast library of past shows. According to Netflix, fans should anticipate a gradual release of archival content.

“In January 2025, Netflix will begin to roll out select WWE archival content. WWE Raw archival content will be available for viewing in the United States, with additional archival content available in the countries listed above.”

Additionally, WWE programming will become downloadable approximately 48 hours after streaming live, giving fans more flexibility to catch up on their favorite moments.

    International Rollout and Accessibility

Initially, WWE Raw will be available in the United States and its territories, including American Samoa, Guam, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, the Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. International fans will also gain access to WWE’s programming, including SmackDown, NXT, and Premium Live Events, as the rollout expands globally.

    WWE Raw Debut – January 6, 2025

The inaugural episode of WWE Raw on Netflix promises to be a monumental event. Broadcasting live from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, the show will feature a stacked card, including:

    • CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins
    • Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa (Tribal Combat Match)
    • Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley (WWE Women’s World Championship)
    • Travis Scott will perform WWE Raw’s brand-new theme song live.

  • Bo Dallas: Every Wyatt Sicks Idea Is A Bray Wyatt Original

Windham \”Bray Wyatt\” Rotunda may no longer be with us, but the late wrestler’s creative influence remains a significant presence on WWE programming. Earlier this year, WWE introduced the Wyatt Sicks, a macabre faction led by Uncle Howdy, whose character has clear ties to the three-time World Champion.

Behind Uncle Howdy’s mask is Bo Dallas, the real-life brother of Rotunda. Speaking to Dead Meat this week, Dallas revealed that the Wyatt Sicks faction draws heavily from his brother’s innovative ideas.

“Every one of our ideas up to this point has been connected to one of Windham\’s original ideas,” Dallas shared. “All those characters came out of Windham\’s mind.”

Dallas further highlighted Rotunda’s inspiration from the indie horror film A House That October Built. The film features a killer wearing a creepy doll-like mask, which Rotunda used as the basis for Sister Abigail, portrayed by Nikki Cross.

“He was obsessed with that mask for years and had all these ideas that he was eventually going to incorporate,” Dallas recalled.

Though Windham Rotunda has tragically passed away, his creative legacy and his love for wrestling and horror continue to resonate. Stay tuned to SEScoops for updates on the Wyatt Sicks, who remains a force to be reckoned with on Monday Night Raw.

  • MJF Takes Aim at Adam Cole-Britt Baker Split Before AEW Worlds End

AEW is gearing up for Worlds End on December 28 in Orlando, Florida, with one of the most personal matches set to happen being Adam Cole Vs. MJF. During the December 21 episode of AEW Collision, the two exchanged heated words with MJF taking the personal nature of their feud to a whole new level.

MJF took the microphone first, delivering sharp jabs at Adam Cole. MJF mocked what he perceives as Cole’s physical fragility, remarking that even a small bump, a gust of wind, or a cavity could take him down. Adding to the sting, MJF referenced Cole’s personal life, alluding to his recent breakup with Britt Baker, claiming that Cole may even need to find a new dentist.

MJF’s barbs didn’t stop there as he continued to mock the \”crack bay-bay,\” in reference to Cole\’s recent weight loss. In response, Cole accused MJF of using political influence to secure a spot in AEW for Alicia Atout and highlighted MJF’s two hair restoration surgeries.

These barbs touched on some very real issues for both men, with Cole confirming back in October that he and Baker are no longer together. Earlier this year, Baker was suspended following a backstage incident with Cole, in which she took issue with Cole\’s girlfriend Alicia Atout being in the women\’s locker room. MJF allegedly punched a wall over the incident, just before his grueling hour-long match against Will Ospreay on the July 17 episode of Dynamite.

MJF On Britt Baker: “I Don’t Have to Like All My Coworkers”

Cole Vs. MJF will come one year after the former was revealed as the Devil at Worlds End 2023. With matters growing even more personal this week, fans can expect a brawl like no other next week at AEW\’s final pay-per-view of the year.

TNA Wrestling\’s Jordynne Grace has wrestling fans buzzing with a cryptic tweet teasing something big coming in a matter of weeks. On X, the former TNA Knockouts World Champion shared the message \’29 days\’ alongside a photo of herself delivering a forearm to Rosemary.

The post quickly sparked speculation, with some fans believing the number is a countdown to the end of her TNA contract, fueling rumors of a potential jump to WWE. In the comments, many fans responded that Grace could be debuting in NXT in 29 days, or referenced Grace competing in the 2025 Women\’s Royal Rumble. Grace appeared numerous times for WWE in 2024 and many believe a permanent move to the larger promotion will come next year.

The number could also be linked to TNA Genesis, the promotion\’s first pay-per-view of the new year which will take place 29 days after Grace sent her post. Genesis 2025 will take place at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas on January 19.

Grace has had a banner year in 2024, both in TNA Wrestling, WWE, and beyond. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on the Juggernaut, and what the former Knockouts World Champion has planned for a matter of weeks.
