  • Nia Jax Refutes \’Lie\’ About Roman Reigns\’ Alleged Sway

In 2020, Nia Jax enjoyed nothing more than putting Lana through a table on WWE TV. When the angle came to an abrupt end, some fans pointed the finger of blame at Roman Reigns but now Jax has shared that the OTC wasn\’t involved.

In 2021, it was reported that Reigns was against Jax and Lana using the announce table at WWE Survivor Series 2020 the previous November as he and Drew McIntyre had a similar spot planned. This week, a fan shared the article, claiming that Reigns has a hatred for women, Jax fired back in defense of her fellow Bloodline member.

Jax\’s refuting of the article is interesting given her previous comments about what happened at the November 2020 PLE. Speaking to Ring the Belle, Jax previously claimed that creative changed the spot, giving McIntyre and Reigns the table spot instead of herself and Lana. When the interview said that they\’d heard about Reigns being involved, Jax gave an exaggerated gasp before sarcastically asking \”who even knows?\” Clarifying her previous comments, Jax made clear in the comments that Reigns was not involved in this decision.

As one of WWE\’s biggest stars ever, Reigns has a degree of sway backstage. Nevertheless, he isn\’t the one who forced Jax and Lana away from the table according to Nia, and that\’s the story she\’s sticking to.

  • Hulk Hogan On How WrestleMania\’s First Main Event Was Nearly Very Different

Four decades ago, WrestleMania 1 changed the face of pro wrestling and Hulk Hogan was there to lead the change. Teaming with Mr. T to defeat Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff, the match would demonstrate the connection between wrestling and celebrities that exists to this day.

Though this is a historic match, it is not the one that was originally planned. Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Undisputed, Hogan claimed that Orndorff was not Piper\’s original partner, and that \’Dr D\’ David Schultz believed he would be the one to headline the historic event.

“It was his original idea for WrestleMania… It all started with David’s idea. It didn’t turn out that way, but that’s how it started.\”

Not only did Schultz not headline WrestleMania 1, but he was nowhere to be seen on the card. Hogan claimed that it was Schultz\’s eagerness to force himself into a feud with Mr. T that cost him dearly.

“David shot his own angle when he slapped Mr. T. Vince was so damn mad. He wouldn’t forgive him, and that was the end of him.”

While Schultz never headlined WrestleMania, Hogan would headline eight of the first nine events, and would make sure to hog the screen following Randy Savage\’s main event win at WrestleMania 4. While Hogan\’s days competing at WrestleMania may be well and truly in the past, the controversial icon remains synonymous with WWE\’s grandest event.

  • CM Punk Pushes For Chappel Roan to Get in the Ring

Chappell Roan has taken the music world by storm in recent years, but could the squared circle be next? Speaking to GQ Sports ahead of WWE WrestleMania 41, CM Punk shared his hope to see Roan in action.

\”We need to get Chappel Roan in the ring, it\’s what we need to do. She wore a lucha mask one time, she had some wrestling gear on. She looked good.\”

The luchador outfit in question came during her set at Lollapalooza an included a blistering pink and blue outfit from the HOT TO GO! star. Following her performance, Willow Nightingale said Roan would be welcome in AEW while Nyla Rose was ready to bring the fight to the Grammy Award-winning artist.

If Roan was to compete in a WWE ring, she\’d follow the likes of Bad Bunny, Cyndi Lauper, and ICP to step from the music world into pro wrestling. And with WrestleMania season being historically rich in celebrity involvement, fans know not to count out seeing Chappel Roan don her mask one more time, this time for a match.

  • WrestleMania 41 Opening Matches for Both Nights (Report)

WWE WrestleMania 41 is mere days away and anticipation is at a fever pitch for the Showcase of the Immortals. With this year\’s event being the sixth two-night WrestleMania, some Superstars will be given the tall order of opening each night in Las Vegas, setting the tone for the rest of the show.

Jey Uso Vs. GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship will open Night One, Wrestle Votes reports. This news comes after Jey shared that if he can\’t headline WrestleMania, he hopes to go on first. Now Uso will have his chance, but GUNTHER is focused on keeping Jey and the fans from their \’feel-good\’ opening inside Allegiant Stadium.

For Night Two, IYO SKY, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair\’s battle for the Women\’s World Championship will reportedly open the show. A mix of WWE\’s three top women, only one will be able to leave Las Vegas with the richest prize in Monday Night Raw\’s women\’s division.

As for the main events, Night One will see CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins do battle in the first WrestleMania closing match for Punk. Night Two will see John Cena and Cody Rhodes battle for the Undisputed WWE Championship as Cena plans to become a 17-time champion and ruin pro wrestling in the process.

Stay tuned to SEScoops for all the latest on WWE WrestleMania 41 including breaking news and live results.

  • Cody Rhodes Aims to Deliver a \’Receipt\’ to Travis Scott at WrestleMania

At WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto, Travis Scott didn\’t hold back as part of the shocking attack on Cody Rhodes that ended the show. Speaking to First Take ahead of WrestleMania 41, Rhodes acknowledged that Scott is an \”incredibly talented guy,\” before also sharing his disdain for the rapper.

\”He kind of sucks. Triple H announced he’s coming to WrestleMania, I’ll be looking for what we call in the wrestling business a little bit of a receipt. Payback.\”

Scott hasn\’t appeared in person for WWE since the attack on Rhodes that also saw The Rock and John Cena leave Rhodes a bloodied mess. Following a particulary stiff shot by Scott to Rhodes\’ ear, it was reported that he had suffered a burst eardrum. Responding to reports, Rhodes laughed off the claim, joking that the bruises he\’d received came curtosy of the Four Horsemen.

Rhodes will battle John Cena at WrestleMania with the Undisputed WWE Championship and the very soul of WWE on the line. And while Rhodes will be focused in stopping John Cena from \’ruining\’ pro wrestling, he may find himself distracted with his quest for payback should Scott appear on Night Two.

  • Cora Jade Defends NXT Booking After Abrupt Roxanne Perez Reunion

At WWE NXT Stand & Deliver\’s kick-off show, Cora Jade will team with Roxanne Perez to battle for a shot at the WWE Women\’s Tag Team Championships. The pair will face Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson), Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne) and Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin. The winners will have their title match on the first episode of WWE NXT post-WrestleMania 41.

Many fans have questioned reuniting Perez and Jade who have been broken up several times, often with Jade turning on The Prodigy. Taking to X to defend the booking, Jade said it was no different to siblings fighting and making up. Jade\’s comment earned a response from Perez who argued that others were jealous of the bond she shares with Jade.

Jade turned on Perez in July 2022, bringing an end to the pair\’s time as NXT Women\’s Tag Team Champions. Though the pair reunited in late 2024, Jade ended their friendship a second time in February 2025, this time over the NXT Women\’s Championship. Now the pair are back together and hope to earn a shot at the WWE Women\’s Tag Team Championships, though it remains to be seen how long the pair will last as allies this time around.

  • \’Be A Fan\’ – TNA Star Backs Triple H Over Criticism Of Critics

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque recently shared his criticism for \’critics\’ who spend too long hating on pro wrestling, encouraging fans online to \”be a fan.\” While Levesque\’s comments have (ironically,) sparked a lot of criticism from fans online, one TNA Wrestling star is throwing his weight behind the Game.

On X, A.J. Francis shared that Levesque is right to \”tell people f*** off being a critic.\” Echoing Levesque\’s sentiment, Francis said people online should \”shut the f*** up & be a fan.\”

Levesque\’s comments have divided opinion with some arguing that he is right to take aim at the Internet Wrestling Community (IWC) and those who are constantly negative. Others have argued though that part of being a fan means having the freedom to share when they don\’t like what is being presented to them.

Criticism or not, Levesque will be focused on delivering an epic WWE WrestleMania 41 this weekend inside Las Vegas\’ Allegiant Stadium. And while the show will no-doubt spark plenty of debate online, WWE\’s CCO hopes fans don\’t forget that they are meant to be enjoying the show.

  • Jey Uso: If I Can\’t Main Event, I Hope I Go On First

Jey Uso will challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41 but his showdown with GUNTHER will not be the main event of either night. Speaking in a WWE vlog on the Road to WrestleMania, Jey shared that he\’s made peace with this, and now has a different spot on the card in mind.

\”I\’m being detailed here, but I really hope I\’m on first. Obviously, I wanted to main event. We know that\’s not gonna happen, which is okay with me.\”

Jey argued that merely making it to the WrestleMania card is \”something big\” especially as it took him years of toiling away in WWE to make it to \’the dance.\’ Now, Jey is ready to open up Night One where he hopes to \”set the tone of the show\” with a win over GUNTHER.

GUNTHER has also weighed in on not headlining WrestleMania despite holding one of the company\’s top two championships. Speaking to Ariel Helwani, GUNTHER said that he can\’t control the placement on the card, and vowed to \”give my best\” no matter what number his match is.

WWE WrestleMania 41 will take place from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

  • Dominik Mysterio Shares WrestleMania Strategy, Potential Finn Balor Pin

At WrestleMania 41, Dominik Mysterio will be part of the stacked fatal four-way for the Intercontinental Championship, the fourth WrestleMania match for the self-professed hardened criminal. While Mysterio will have three opponents at the Showcase of the Immortals, his road to the gold has another obstacle in Finn Balor.

Balor, Mysterio\’s Judgment Day ally, will also be part of the match, raising questions about whether the two will turn on each other to capture the Intercontinental Title. Speaking on the Raw Recap, Mysterio claimed that he won\’t stand in the way of the Irish Superstar if a chance to pin Balor arises.

\”What I would do in this situation, right. Is I\’d grab, I\’d go to roll and I\’d grab his arm and I\’d turn his body. So where he would end up on top of me to get the pin.\”

Mysterio argued that Balor has \”seniority\” in the Judgment Day and went as far as to call Finn \”the dad that stepped up.\” Concluding, Dominik said that \”you gotta do what\’s right,\” signifying that Finn\’s chances on winning the gold have drastically increased.

While Dominik is confident that he won\’t stop Finn, things could be very different in the heat of the moment. Fans will just have to wait for WrestleMania to see if Mysterio keeps his words and foregoes an opportunity to become Intercontinental Champion.

  • The Opps Win Trios Titles On AEW Dynamite

The Death Riders\’ stranglehold on the AEW Trios Titles came to an end during the latest episode of AEW Dynamite as The Opps captured the gold in a stacked main event. Both teams saw replacements, as Jon Moxley filled in for the injured Pac while Powerhouse Hobbs replaced HOOK for the challengers.

The Young Bucks tried to shift the match momentum toward the Death Riders but Swerve Strickland showed up to take both of them out. Willow Nightingale took out Marina Shafir when the latter tried to use a chair on Hobbs. The finish saw Samoa Joe choke out Jon Moxley to win the gold.

The Death Riders had held the titles since All In: London 2024, where Pac, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta ended the reign of the Patriarchy. Now, the 234-day reign of Moxley\’s faction has come to an end, and it\’s telling that Joe got the win over the AEW World Champion. Whether this means a future AEW World title match or not remains to be seen, but this week\’s defeat is a serious setback for the Death Riders.

  • MJF Gloats As AEW Dynamite Surpasses WCW Monday Nitro

The April 16, edition of AEW Dynamite will be a historic show for the company and not just because of the exciting in-ring action promised. The show will mark Dynamite\’s 289th episode since launching in October 2019. This show will see AEW Dynamite surpass WCW Monday Nitro, a program that Dynamite is often compared to, which lasted for 288 episodes from 1995 to March 2001.

One person who fans have been able to see for some of Dynamite\’s biggest episodes is MJF. Taking to X, the Salt of the Earth reflected on Dynamite reaching the 289 milestone. Not one to stand on ceremony though, the former AEW World Champion argued that Dynamite would not have reached this milestone \”without me carrying the company solely on my back for all these years.\”

AEW Dynamite and WCW Monday Nitro have often been compared given that both shows have served as the most direct competiton to WWE\’s TV dominance. While Nitro would ultimately lose their battle, resulting in the company being purchased at a bargain price by Vince McMahon, Dynamite shows no signs of suffering a similar fate anytime soon.

As for MJF, his latest run on Dynamite has seen him attempt to win over the Hurt Syndicate though the group remaisn unconvinced by the former AEW World Champion. And with entry into the faction needing to come from a unaminous decision, it remains to be seen what MJF will have to do to win over MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin.

  • Ricky Saints Warns Ethan Page Ahead of NXT Stand & Deliver Title Clash

At WWE NXT Stand & Deliver, Ricky Saints will defend the NXT North American Championship against fellow AEW alum Ethan Page. The \’All Ego\’ Superstar earned a shot at the gold on the April 15, edition of WWE NXT, defeating Wes Lee, Eddy Thorpe, and Lexis King (another All-Elite alum) in four-way action.

In a WWE NXT Digital Exclusive, Saints was asked about his upcoming match with Page. While acknowledging that the pay \”go way back,\” Saints made sure that Page will never underestimate him after this weekend\’s event.

\”You have seemingly forgotten since you\’ve been here that I am not a man that should be underestimated. In fact, I am every bit of the man I say I am.\”

Page in comparison, according to Saints, is someone who \”falls short in every single category of your life\” before adding that this mediocrity is \”the story of All Ego Ethan Page.\” Concluding, Saints acknowledged the magnitude of Stand & Deliver and gave his clear prediction.

\”I am leaving Las Vegas still the NXT North American Champion and you Ethan Page will be left with you, and your massive ego.\”

Neither Page nor Saints were with WWE this time last year but now have a chance to steal the show over WrestleMania week. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Stand & Deliver and the battle for the NXT North American Championship.

  • WWE Makes Change to El Grande Americano After Fan Backlash

The introduction of El Grande Americano in early 2025 sparked an immediate backlash from fans, many of whom claimed the character mocked lucha libre customs. While the character is showing no signs of going away, WWE has seemingly made a notable edit in response to irate fans.

During a recent WWE Main Event taping, El Grande Americano was in action but a major change was made to his entrance. Rather than being billed as from the \’Gulf of America,\’ WWE\’s \’new\’ masked Superstar was billed as from the Gulf of Mexico. The use of \’Gulf of America\’ had sparked backlash as many found using the label invented by President Trump to rechristen the pre-existing gulf was a disrespectful move to the traditions of the area.

Changing to the Gulf of Mexico is an interesting move especially given the recent comments of Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque. WWE\’s Chief Content Officer recently argued that online backlash doesn\’t reflect real-life views, suggesting that his strategy will be to ignore what social media has to say. Nevertheless, Levesque has seemingly changed tact and ditched Trump\’s branding, despite recently having praise for the current leader of the United States.

El Grande Americano will compete at WrestleMania 41 where he\’ll battle a truly beloved name in lucha libre, Rey Mysterio. The WWE Hall of Famer has vowed to expose Americano as a sham on WWE\’s biggest stage of them all.

  • Thea Hail Punches Her Stand & Deliver Ticket With NXT Return

Thea Hail is back on WWE NXT programming and has a golden opportunity awaiting her at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver. During the April 15, edition of WWE NXT, Hail returned to action to defeat Karmen Petrovic, earning a spot in the Ladder Match at Stand & Deliver. That match will determine the next NXT Women\’s North American Championship, a title that has been without a holder since Stephanie Vaquer surrendered the gold.

Hail did more than just punch her ticket to NXT Stand & Deliver at this week\’s NXT, however. During the show, she gave Andre Chase her approval to start a new chapter of Chase U. This endorsement came as welcome new to Uriah Conners and Kale Dixon, who have been trying to convince Chase to team up.

Hail\’s return has been a long-time coming for fans of the popular Chase U alum. Hail\’s most recent match on TV had come at NXT Great American Bash: Night One in July 2024. On that night, Hail was unable to capture the NXT Women\’s Championship, held at the time by Roxanne Perez. During her absence from TV, Hail wrestled just five times at NXT live events.

Now, Thea Hail is back and plans on winning her first taste of gold in WWE. But with a stacked match including Lola Vice, Sol Ruca, Zaria, Izzi Dame, and Kelani Jordan, Hail will have her work cut out for her at NXT Stand & Deliver.

  • Rhea Ripley Rejects Kevin Hart\’s Tag-Team Offer in Brutal Fashion

Rhea Ripley has had her fair share of tag-team partners over the years, but don\’t expect her to challenge for gold with Kevin Hart. While speaking on Cold As Balls, the comedian offered his services, telling Ripley “Listen, if you ever need a partner, I’m there.”

Unimpressed, Ripley laughed off the offer, telling Hart \”I\’ll call Dwayne,\” a nod to Dwayne \’The Rock\’ Johnson, who Hart has worked with several tiems. When Ripley went as far as to ask Hart if he could smell what The Rock is cooking, the comedian saidthat \”if I can smell what The Rock is cooking, I’m going somewhere else to eat.”

The Rock and Hart have spent years trolling each other and there\’s no doubt that WWE\’s \’Final Boss\’ loved to see Ripley\’s reaction to the offer. The Australian Superstar once again demonstrated her signature cocky, confident attitude, something that has made \’Mami\’ into one of WWE\’s most popular Superstars in recent history.

Ripley will compete at WrestleMania 41 this weekend where she\’ll battle Women\’s World Champion IYO SKY and Bianca Belair in a stacked triple threat match. And while having The Rock in her corner would certainly prove useful, Ripley is ready to prove that Mami can win gold on WWE\’s grandest stage all by herself.

  • Seth Rollins to The Rock: \’My Soul\’s Always For Sale\’

Seth Rollins has succeeded in WWE as both a babyface and a heel but has been a good guy for over two years. Now though, the Architect could be ready to embrace his darker side, and align with The Rock in the process.

While speaking on Not Just Football with Cam Heyward, Rollins was asked about potentially aligning with The Rock and John Cena. Declaring that \”My soul\’s always for sale,\” Rollins shared that he will align with whoever can help WWE the most, even if it\’s somebody the fans cann\’t stand.

\”If I look at the situation and it seems to me that the best course of action for the company as a whole is to join with people that maybe the audience doesn’t want me to join with, I will make the decision based on how I feel is the best direction for the company.\”

Rollins\’ comments are very interesting given that a year ago, he and The Rock were on opposing sides at WrestleMania 40. While it was The Rock and Roman Reigns who bested Rollins and Cody Rhodes, Rollins would play a crucial role in the OTC\’s reign as Undisputed WWE Champion coming to an end.

Seth Rollins will headline WrestleMania for the third time in his career this weekend where he\’ll battle CM Punk and Roman Reigns. And while Rollins is ready to tear the head off The Rock\’s cousin, fans shouldn\’t count out the Visionary selling his soul to the Final Boss.

  • Hulk Hogan Takes Credit For Inventing Wrestling Theme Songs

Entrance music is an iconic staple of pro wrestling, from the glass shattering to signify the arrival of Steve Austin to Cody Rhodes\’ beloved theme from Downstait. Now, fans who relish hearing entrance themes know they have Hulk Hogan to thank, at least according to the Hulkster himself.

Speaking on the Try That In A Small Town podcast, Hogan took credit for innovating entrance music in pro wrestling. Hogan\’s original theme, none other than the iconic track from Rocky, \’Eye of the Tiger.\’

\”I went to the sound guy, I said \’to hell with this. Eye of the Tiger, crank it up!\’ I gave him five hundred bucks.\”

Seeing the thunderous response the fans gave to hearing Hogan enter to the track, the Hulkster took the suggestion of entrance music to Vince McMahon. Not long, everybody in WWE and the wider wrestling world wanted to get in on the music action.

\”Vince picked up on it real quick and it just took off. And then everybody wanted entrance music so Jimmy Hart sat up all night writing entrance music.\”

Hogan may take credit for inventing the idea of wrestling entrance music, but like many of his claims, this one doesn\’t hold up to scrutiny. In the 1940s and 1950s, Georgeous George would arrive to Pomp & Circumstance, a track later used for \’Macho Man\’ Randy Savage. The Fabulous Freebirds would also use music in the southern territories, while in the WWWF, Sgt. Slaughter would use the Marine Corp Hymn before Hogan became the megastar he is.

While an argument can be made that Hogan popularized entrance music in the mainstream, he was by no means the first. And given the frosty reception Hogan received during Raw\’s debut on Netflix, it may be a long time before fans here \’Real American\’ in a WWE setting.

  • Shawn Michaels On Why He \’Had\’ To Induct Triple H Into WWE Hall of Fame

The WWE Hall of Fame 2025 ceremony will be the latest celebration of wrestling legends and mark the second induction of Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque. In an unprecedented moment, Levesque will become the first inductee to be honored for his role as a singles star second, with his first induction coming as part of DX in 2019.

Shawn Michaels will be on-hand to induct WWE\’s Chief Content Officer. Taking to X with his trademark HBK sarcasm, Michaels shared how he was \’coerced\’ into inducting the Game.

While Michaels and Triple H make sense ad an inductor-inductee duo, some of this year\’s picks have raised some eyebrows. Many believe that The Undertaker is the wrong choice to induct Michelle McCool, with fans arguing that Layla would be a more apt choice. Lex Luger had hoped that Sting would be the one to indcut him, but as Sting remains under contract with AEW, \’Diamond\’ Dallas Page will do the honors instead.

Despite these criticisms, the WWE Hall of Fame will be an epic event, set to take place this Friday, April 18, at the BleauLive Theater in Las Vegas.

  • Bear Bronson Speaks Out: \’Forgotten and Ignored\’ After Tag Partner’s Arrest

Former AEW star Bear Boulder was arrested in January 2025 following claims of domestic battery by strangulation and the promotion terminated his contract. This brought an end to his tag-team with Bear Bronson who recently addressed how this situation has affected his career.

On X, Bronson shared that it feels like he\’s being forced to pay for the actions of another man and admitted to feeling \”forgotten and ignored.\” Despite this, Bronson is determined to do the best he can and appreciates the support from his family, fans, and others.

    https://twitter.com/bearbronsonBC/status/1911913689130709247

Bronson\’s openness about his situation sparked a lot of comments with many saying they\’re rooting for Bronson and believe his \’time\’ will come. When one fan suggested that Bronson find a new tag team partner though, Bronson rejected the idea with a simple but poignant \”No.\”

Bronson has competed just six times since Boulder\’s arrest, according to date provided by Profight. As for Boulder, who saw the case against him dismissed in March, he has not wrestled since the January 2025 arrest, raising questions about his future in the wrestling industry.

As for Bronson, he\’s clearly feeling that a situation that has nothing to do with him has greatly affected his career in the ring. It remains to be seen where his journey in wrestling will go next as the situation with his former tag team partner continues to loom over him.

  • Karrion Kross Shrugss Off Raw Loss: I Get To Wake Up Next To Scarlett

On the April 14, edition of WWE Raw, Karrion Kross lost to AJ Styles in a brutal match between the two. Speaking after the match, the former NXT Champion lamented his defeat in his first match on Monday Night Raw since July of 2024.

\”I got a shot tonight, first time on Netflix, and I lost. I’m also not on WrestleMania in my home of Las Vegas.\”

Despite his disappointment, Kross tried to look on the positive side of things. Along his many things he can look forward to, Kross celebrated being able to spend \’quality time\’ with his wife.

\”I got some other things to be happy about. Like tomorrow morning I’m gonna wake up next to a naked Scarlett Bordeaux. I mean, that’s great.\”

Focusing back on the match, Kross shared that he\’s also pleased to see a \”sliver\” of the AJ Styles that the Phenomenal One needs to show if he wants to beat Logan Paul at WrestleMania 41. Concluding, Kross encouraged Styles to embrace a darker side to himself, not just for his match with Paul, but beyond.

\”AJ, do what needs to be done tomorrow. Do what needs to be done the next day and the day after that, after that, until you get to Mania and then moving forward.\”

Kross has been trying to brink a darker side out of Styles and his match on Raw was a masterclass in mindgames. As noted on commentary, Kross donned tights designed by the same person who creates AJ\’s gear. Late into the match, Kross smiled as he realized Styles was setting up for a Phenomenal Forearm. Rather than dodge the move, Kross put his arms behind his back to take the hit.

It remains to be seen if Styles stands tall at WrestleMania, and if he does, whether it\’ll be down to Kross\’ mental games. Nevertheless, Karrion Kross was pleased with what he saw from Styles, despite taking the loss on Raw to the former WWE Champion.

  • Seth Rollins Stands Tall As Roman Reigns Snaps on Paul Heyman

The April 14, edition of WWE Raw served as the go-home episode of the red brand before WrestleMania 41, giving talent one last chance to build momentum. In the closing moments of Raw, it was Seth Rollins who stood tall in a explosive segment including Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Paul Heyman.

Punk approached Heyman backstage, noting that his best friend looked stressed moments before Roman Reigns pulled up. Instead of addressing his Wise Man, Reigns walked to the ring, leaving Heyman to try and catch up. In front of the Sacramento crowd, Reigns said that the fans in California would never betray the OTC, unlike some, a pointed line aimed at Heyman. When Reigns asked Heyman why he betrayed him, this earned a \”you f***ed up\” chant from the fans.

Heyman was booed as he tried to defend his actions, saying he hasn\’t betrayed Reigns but is paying back a favor that he owed to CM Punk. Roman then said that he’s the only one getting screwed over in this favor and that he doesn\’t need favors but takes what he wants.

Seth Rollins was out next and said that the winner of this triple threat match will define the future of WWE. Though Rollins claimed that WWE will die if CM Punk is able to win, this only made fans chant for CM Punk even more. Rollins argued that favors are a choice, claiming that Heyman can choose not to give Seth his favor back after sparing his life last week.

Tired of talking, Reigns clotheslined Rollins and sent him out of the ring before shoving Heyman to the mat, a shocking moment that brought out CM Punk. Reigns and Punk brawled before Punk clotheslined the OTC over the top rope, but when Punk checked on Heyman, this gave Reigns the chance to recover and spear him.

Reigns delivered a beatdown to Punk before being struck in the back with a chair by Rollins in an homage to the chair shot that started off this whole thing back in 2014. Rollins nailed a stomp to Punk and Reigns to send a final definitive message, and it’ll be the Architect who walks into WrestleMania 41 with the momentum.

  • Ryan Nemeth\’s AEW/CM Punk Lawsuit Moves To Arbitration

Ryan Nemeth’s legal battle with AEW, Tony Khan, and CM Punk is officially heading to arbitration. According to a new statement from Nemeth’s attorney, the ongoing lawsuit will take place behind closed dooes. Nemeth’s lawyer, Mike Caspino, confirmed to POST Wrestling:

“There has been no settlement. The parties have agreed to submit the matter to arbitration.”

Nemeth originally filed the lawsuit in February, claiming that Khan and Punk (real name Phil Brooks,) conspired to freeze him out of the wrestling business. Khan reportedly blamed Nemeth for his decision to terminate Brooks in September 2023, an act that would lead to CM Punk\’s return to WWE that November.

The lawsuit also staterd that AEW officials removed Nemeth from a booking, seemingly at the request of Punk following an encounter between the two. AEW responded by seeking to seal Nemeth’s contract and compel arbitration. Their argument centered on the claim that publicizing contract terms could cause “irreparable harm” to the company’s competitive interests.

Nemeth last appeared for AEW in 2023 and more recently has been making waves in TNA Wrestling. Nemeth can be seen alongside his brother Nic and the latter recently turned heel after losing the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

  • Braun Strowman Responds To Backlash Over WrestleMania \’Snub\’

WWE WrestleMania 41 is mere days away but not everyone will be part of the two-night supershow. Braun Strowman is among those not expected to appear in Allegiant Stadium but the former Universal Champion isn\’t too worried about this \’snub.\’

On X, a fan criticized WWE for omitting Strowman from the WrestleMania card, highlighting that Braun has always been willing to do what was asked of him. This caught the attention of Strowman who appreciated the fan\’s support. With that said, Braun made clear he\’s just doing his job, seemingly rejecting idea that WWE \’owes\’ him a WrestleMania spot.

Strowman\’s attitude reflects a maturity as he recognizes that not everyone can make it to the WrestleMania card and there are limited opportunities when WWE boasts such a massive roster. Strowman recently feuded with Jacob Fatu though it was the Samoan Werewolf who won their Last Man Standing match on the April 4, edition of WWE SmackDown. Fatu will make his WrestleMania debut by challenging WWE United States Champion LA Knight for the gold.

As for Strowman, it remains to be seen what\’s next in his career as he continues to search out his next storyline on WWE programming. And while Braun may not make it onto this year\’s WrestleMania card, Strowman plans on being a part of many more massive events in the future.

  • Triple H: WWE is Always Open to Crossovers with UFC

In September 2023, TKO Group Holdings officially launched, consisting of two entertainment juggernauts: WWE & UFC. Ever since, fans have speculated about potential crossover between the two and WWE CCO Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque won\’t rule the idea out.

Speaking to Flagrant, Levesque wouldn\’t confirm a crossover event or talent competing for the other, though didn\’t reject the concept.

\”Look, it\’s one of those things—it just depends on who\’s an entertainer and who\’s not… We\’re always wide open to it.\”

While WWE are yet to send one of its Superstars to UFC, nor has a crossover event happened, the bond that exists within TKO has played out on screen. Since TKO\’s launch, several names from both sides have made appearances for the other, including Rhea Ripley attending UFC 314. In 2024, WWE hosted NXT Battleground from the UFC Apex in Paradise, Nevada, further demonstrating the ties between the two sides.

If Levesque is looking for Superstars to compete in UFC, he won\’t have a problem finding volunteers. After attending UFC 298 in 2024, Montez Ford shared that he\’d 100% love the opportunity to try his skills inside the Octagon.

With WWE more open to working with others than ever before (just ask TNA Wrestling) a crossover event with UFC can\’t be counted out. And with several Superstars already having experience in the Octagon, such an event may not be a matter of if, but when.

  • Triple H Heralds President Trump’s Charisma: ‘Amazing’ and ‘Genius’

Donald Trump is loved by some and loathed by others, but there\’s no denying that the U.S. President is able to get everyone talking. Speaking to Flagrant, WWE\’s Chief Content Officer Paul \’Triple H\’ Levesque argued that Trump has a pull that few people in his circles could dream of replicating.

\”He\’s charismatic in so many ways, and I think he likes getting under peoples skin, generating [heat]. It\’s amazing and it\’s genius, and it worked.\”

Levesque, set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for the second time this weekend, highlighted Trump as \”the epitome of that billionaire status\” and once again credited \’The Don\’s\’ charisma for that. While there are other billionaires in the word, Levesque noted that it was Trump that individuals could find on People Magazine on a regular basis.

While Trump has obvious ties to WWE, including appearances at several WrestleManias, the company has avoided mentioning the current President of the United States on-screen. This restraint demonstrates WWE wisely stepping away from the highly-volatile world of politics despite the potential for headlines if they were to lean into their Trump connection. WWE\’s TKO partners in UFC haven\’t shied away from Trump, who appeared at the recent UFC 314 event.

Each day, Trump continues to make headlines, with his recent tarriffs and changes to said tarriffs sparking a ton of debate, and while Levesque may avoid mentioning the President by name on WWE TV, the CCO\’s admiration for Trump\’s charisma is no secret.
