  • Nor “Phoenix” Diana Defiant Despite Mercedes Moné Title Loss

At House of Glory Wrestling\’s latest event, Mercedes Moné won Malaysia\’s APAC Women\’s Championship, bringing her total number of titles to a staggering 13. Moné won the gold by defeating Nor \’Phoenix\’ Diana, who, despite the loss, was feeling grateful after her match with the AEW competitor.

In an interview with House of Glory after her match, Nor said she was \”blessed and grateful\” for only her second match in the U.S. to be such a big deal. For Nor, stepping in the ring against Moné wasn\’t just for herself, but for everyone like her.

\”To all the underrepresented, the hijabs, to everything who looks like me. If you dream big and believe in yourself, you can achieve.\”

While Nor tried to see the best in her situation, she couldn\’t help but acknowledge her title loss. Undeterred though, Nor vowed that she will win the title back and that \”the Phoenix will rise again.\” Nor signed off with a triumphant cry, declaring herself \”the flame that never dies.\”

Moné may have gotten the better of Diana at House of Glory\’s The Big Event Superclash, but \’The Phoenix\’ is ready to rise again. Time will tell if a rematch between the two is in the works, but Nor is ready to take Moné\’s number of titles back down to 12.

  • Clarification On Goldberg \’Skipping\’ WrestleFest Private Signing

Bill Goldberg recently made headlines after it was claimed that he skipped a private signing with K&S WrestleFest during the Big Event NY Expo. Now though, more has come to light about the actions of the WWE Hall of Famer.

On Facebook, a fan appreciated Tom Unger, the promoter of Big Event EXS, while also making their views clear on Goldberg\’s alleged actions. This prompted a response from Unger, who made clear that Goldberg completed the five hours signing that he was contracted to.

Unger also said that K&S WrestleFest shouldn\’t be \”posting this all over like the victim\” as they knew there was a chance that they wouldn\’t have Goldberg. When the fan asked why Goldberg simply didn\’t stay longer than his contracted time, another fan said that Bill shouldn\’t have to go beyond what he was contracted for.

    \"\"

This revelation by Unger paints this situation in a new light. Rather than Goldberg unprofessionally skipping a signing, he simply left the show after the period of time he had been paid to work there expired. While K&S WrestleFest said in their initial post that they were \”super disappointed and frustrated\” by Goldberg\’s actions, they should have been aware all along that Goldberg\’s time was limited.

Goldberg retired from in-ring competition earlier this year with a loss to GUNTHER at WWE Saturday Night\’s Main Event. While his days in the ring are over, Goldberg continues to drum up drama outside of the ring.

Fans at a recent WWE NXT event were ecstatic when CM Punk\’s entrance music hit, only to learn they had been trolled by Grayson Waller. The Australian Superstar replicated Punk\’s entrance, complete with \’It\’s Clobbering Time\’ catchphrase. In the ring, Waller sat cross-legged, much like Punk, further antagonizing the live crowd.

Waller was part of the evening\’s main event, where he failed to capture the WWE NXT Championship from Ricky Saints. After the match, Saints would deliver some Punk-inspired payback for the fans, hitting the \’Aussie Icon\’ with a GTS.

Waller wasn\’t the only main roster talent to make their presence felt at the WWE NXT event in Chicago. The main event also saw JD McDonagh in action. Lyra Valkyria was part of a six-woman tag-match which saw herself, Izzi Dame, and NXT Women\’s Champion Tatum Paxley defeat Fatal Influence. In the show\’s opener, Sheamus defeated Trick Williams.

  • Dominik Mysterio On Why Neck Tattoo Was A Terrible Decision

\’Dirty\’ Dominik Mysterio recently stunned fans with a new neck tattoo that pays homage to the AAA Mega Champion\’s lucha libre legacy. While Mysterio is proud to pay tribute to those who have come before him, just as long as it\’s not his father, this tattoo has left Dom worse for wear.

On the Towers of Power podcast, Dominik explained how the tattoo is a mixture of the Aztec calendar with his uncle\’s mask in the center. The tattoo is two-thirds finished, Mysterio added, before admitting that he\’s not looking forward to getting inked again.

\”It was a terrible decision… ‘cause the pain — and once you do it, you can’t just go like, ‘Okay, I’m done. I’m not going to finish it.’ The finished product is going to go down here more, so it’s bothering me already that it’s unfinished.\”

Despite the pain, Dominik is determined to finish the tattoo. Describing himself as a \’sicko,\’ Mysterio acknowledged that neck tattoos always hurt, so he shouldn\’t be surprised.

Mysterio is not the only wrestler with ink on their neck. Cody Rhodes\’ neck tattoo was introduced in 2020, and Rhodes has admitted that the tattoo was far bigger than he\’d first planned. In 2024, WWE Hall of Famer The Great Khali debuted his neck tattoo, while AEW\’s Swerve Strickland was inked later that same year.

Neck tattoos are a bold way to show off one\’s pain tolerance, though Sheamus is certainly not going to be inking his body. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Dominik\’s inky situation.

  • Bill Goldberg Accused Of Skipping Private WrestleFest Signing

WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg allegedly no-showed a private signing for K&S WrestleFest. On Facebook, WrestleFest claimed that while Goldberg took part in a signing with another vendor at the same event, he walked past them and left the venue when it was time to appear for them.

Unfortunately Goldberg PRIVATE Signing did not happen ..

We had all our items laid out ready to sign as Goldberg was doing another Private for another vendor.

After he was done, he got up and said he was done.. He walked out past our stuff, and left..

An ongoing tournament will decide John Cena\’s final opponent ahead of the WWE icon\’s in-ring farewell at Saturday Night\’s Main Event. Currently, not every name involved in the tournament has been announced, but one veteran of the ring has seemingly spoiled their involvement.

Speaking to John Poz of TMPT, R-Truth was asked about his potential involvement in the tournament. Though not officially announced, Poz said that Truth is involved, and Truth agreed. The WWE veteran then walked back his comments, saying he hopes he\’s involved.

\”Yes, I am [in the tournament] dawg… I hope I get picked… and I think it’s awesome, man. I think it’s awesome for the person that’s gonna be facing him, and I think it’s awesome for him to even give that type of passing the torch off.”

Truth\’s history with Cena is well-documented. After feuding in 2011, Truth became a fan of John, even referring to the 17-time WWE World Champion as his childhood hero. Following Cena\’s heel turn in 2025, the two competed again, and Truth returned from a brief WWE exit by attacking John at WWE Money in the Bank 2025.

Currently, the only names confirmed for the tournament are Rusev, Sheamus, The Miz, Jey Uso, LA Knight, Je\’Von Evans, GUNTHER, and Solo Sikoa. Rusev and Sheamus have made it to the quarterfinals with victories over Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura respectively.

Truth has yet to be officially announced, but fans can expect the former U.S. Champion to be involved in due time. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on John Cena\’s in-ring farewell.

  • Matt Cardona Addresses Speculation About John Cena Tournament Role

The tournament to crown John Cena\’s final opponent is underway, though not everyone involved in the tournament has been announced. With teases of talent from outside WWE being involved, fans are interested to see who will be competing for a shot to face Cena in his final match.

One name that fans have put forward as a surprise entrant is Matt Cardona. Appearing on the NotSam Wrestling podcast, Cardona was asked about the speculation and reminded listeners that his entrance music and gear bear the phrase \”Alwayz Ready.\”

Cardona has \”made a career out of being always ready,\” and, reiterating past comments, said he\’d be willing to speak to WWE about a return. Discussing the chance to be Cena\’s final opponent, Cardona called it the \”ultimate opportunity\” for whoever wins this tournament.

Cena and Cardona do have a history as the pair were on-screen allies in late 2011 and early 2012. During John\’s \’pipebomb\’ earlier this year, he dropped Cardona\’s name during his comments against CM Punk. In October, Cardona competed on WWE NXT as part of the NXT Vs. TNA storyline, his first match in a WWE ring since 2020.

Cardona has proven to be a huge success story since his time as Zack Ryder came to an end over five-and-a-half years ago. Time will tell if Matt is in the tournament, but he won\’t be turning down the chance to get involved.
