  • Jack Perry Returns At All Out, Attacks Young Bucks, Reunites With Luchasaurus

Jack Perry made a statement with his return to AEW programming at All Out by attacking his former allies The Young Bucks. In the show\’s penultimate match, the Bucks failed to regain the AEW World Tag Team Titles in a four-team ladder match won by reigning champions Brodido.

After the match, the Bucks were frustrated in the ring when Perry appeared. Despite their former partnership, Perry attacked both men, but was quickly overwhelmed. Just as it appeared that Perry would be hit with a V-Trigger, the lights went down and a video aired on the screen showing somebody being resurrected.

This video was hyping up the return of Luchasaurus, who has seemingly ditched his time as Killswitch/Killshot. He fended off the Young Bucks and the duo once known as Jurassic Express hugged in the ring.

It appears that Perry was the one who had warned the Bucks furing a recent episode of Being The Elite. With Perry back and on the same page as Luchasaurus, this reunion could prove disastrous for the former AEW EVPs.

  • Triple H Says AJ Lee Hasn\’t Missed A Beat, Return Has Been An Idea For A Long Time

AJ Lee will make her long-awaited in-ring return at WWE Wrestlepalooza, marking her first match in over a decade. Fans have been hoping for this moment for years, and according to Paul \”Triple H\” Levesque, it’s something WWE has had in mind for quite some time.

Speaking on the Wrestlepalooza Kickoff, Levesque reflected on AJ’s comeback. While Becky Lynch slapping CM Punk weeks ago ultimately pulled AJ back into the spotlight, the idea of her return has been floating around for a while.

\”It\’s been an idea in my head for a long period of time. It\’s something I\’ve talked to others about, spoken to CM Punk about. Turns out all I had to do was get somebody to slap the crap out of her husband.\”

Levesque quipped that while CM Punk was unlucky to get slapped, WWE are lucky to have AJ back. For Levesque, having AJ back isn\’t just a boon for WWE, but a win for a roster full of people inspired by the former Divas Champion.

\”When you see somebody like her that has an effect and an impact on so many young ladies, so many young women. So many Superstars of today have been influenced by her, to see her back here.\”

Levesque closed by noting he’s seen some of AJ’s recent training ahead of Wrestlepalooza and was impressed by her sharpness.

\”I can\’t wait to see it tonight. I\’ve had the chance to see some training footage of her. Looks like she hasn\’t missed a beat. This is gonna be awesome.\”

AJ Lee and CM Punk will battle Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at WWE Wrestlepalooza in Indianapolis, Indiana. Stay tuned to SEScoops for breaking news and live results.

  • Kris Statlander Makes History With AEW Women\’s Title Win At All Out

Kris Statlander has captured the AEW Women\’s World Championship after a hard-fought four way at AEW All Out. Inside the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Statlander bested Jamie Hayter, Thekla, and now-former-champion \’Timeless\’ Toni Storm to win the gold.

Statlander\’s road to the top of AEW has been a long time coming for the new Women\’s World Champion. Kris has suffered two ACL tears during her tenure with the promotion, making this win in Toronto all the more special.

Kris Statlander didn\’t just win the AEW Women\’s World Championship, but made history in the process. With this victory, Statlander is the first woman in history to have won both the AEW Women\’s World Title and the AEW TBS Championship. While others including Mercedes Mone, Willow Nightingale, and Nyla Rose have tried to win every women\’s title in AEW, it will be Statlander who holds the honor of doing so first.

It now remains to be seen what\’s next for Statlander, as well as what\’s next for Toni Storm. With the popular \’Timeless\’ wrestler now without a title for the first time in months, she will have to carve a new path for herself as part of AEW.

  • The Miz Takes Aim at Bryan Danielson On Wrestlepalooza Kick-Off

Bryan Danielson hasn\’t worked for WWE for over four years, but The Miz hasn\’t forgotten about his fellow former World Champion. During ESPN’s Road to WrestlePalooza special, The Miz discussed his in-ring style and addressed past criticism of what some consider a style that is too \’safe.\’

“I’ve had people tell me that I have a safe way of wrestling. But that person is no longer here anymore, so we don’t need to talk about him.”

The comment was clearly aimed at Bryan Danielson. In 2016, Danielson, then SmackDown General Manager, called Miz’s style “soft” and “safe.” Miz’s explosive response on Talking Smack became a career-defining promo for the Grand-Slam Champion, and is still considered one of his best moments on the mic.

Danielson and Miz\’s history dates back to 2010 with Bryan\’s debut that year as part of the original WWE NXT. Danielson was the \’rookie\’ of The Miz, despite having more in-ring experience than his \’mentor\’ at the time. The pair would later feud, with Bryan beating The Miz to win the United States Title that year.

Over a decade later, Miz is still finding ways to take shots at Danielson, keeping their feud alive across company lines. With Bryan\’s in-ring future uncertain and The Miz active in WWE to this day, this \’safe\’ style has seemingly paid dividends for the A-Lister.

  • PROGESS World Champion Man Like DeReiss Tells All On WWE Try-Out

PROGRESS World Champion Man Like DeReiss may be called a WWE Superstar one day, but the British wrestler isn\’t going to rush a move to the Sports Entertainment powerhouse. Speaking to The A2theK Wrestling Show, DeReiss recalled being part of a WWE try-out during WWE\’s tour of Europe in March, a try-out that saw him reportedly impress WWE names.

\”It was a great experience. It\’s great to be around some great minds in professional wrestling. I made a lot of new friends, met a lot of new people, and the athletes were great.\”

DeReiss has since arrived in TNA Wrestling, making his in-ring debut for the promotion in February of this year. While his new role with TNA could eventually lead to a future in WWE, Dereiss is in no hurry to part the independent scene for a Superstar role.

\”At the moment, for me, I think what I\’m doing at the moment is going very, very well. So I don\’t think there\’s any rush to change at the moment, how things are going. I\’m PROGRESS world champion… I\’m doing exactly what I wanted to set out to do.\”

Man Like DeReiss won the PROGRESS World Championship in August, ending the reign of Luke Jacobs at PROGRESS 183 in London, England. Other highlights of 2025 have seen Dereiss battle for the TNA X-Division Championship and appear for Ring of Honor and GCW.

For many wrestlers, WWE is the ultimate goal. While DeReiss has all the tools to make it as a WWE Superstar one day, he\’s in no hurry to end his time on the independent scene and beyond.

  • How A WWE Streak Will End In Wrestlepalooza\’s Mixed Tag-Team Match

WWE Wrestlepalooza will see the in-ring return of AJ Lee, who\’ll team with her husband CM Punk to battle the championship power couple of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. Not only will this match mark AJ\’s first wrestling match since March 2015, but it will also mark the end of one of two streaks.

Both couples have teamed together in the past to much success. Punk and AJ are 2-0 after teaming in 2012, while Lynch and Rollins went 3-0 during a series of matches in 2019. Now, one of these streaks will be broken as the two teams prepare to battle in Indianapolis.

H/T to @WrestleStatcast for uncovering this stat. Stay tuned to SEScoops for more interesting wrestling facts and statistics.

For Punk and Rollins, this match will be the latest chapter of their feud in WWE. Rollins infamously called Punk a \’cancer\’ during the Chicago-Made star\’s first suspension from AEW, and they have feuded for much of Punk\’s return to WWE. Punk would win their steel cage match during Raw\’s debut on Netflix, but Rollins would emerge on top during WrestleMania 41: Saturday\’s main event.

Rollins\’ current World Heavyweight Title reign also came at the expense of Punk, ending the latter\’s first WWE title reign since returning in mere minutes. Rollins would retain in a four-way at WWE Clash in Paris, thanks to Becky Lynch.

Now, the wives of Rollins and Punk have been added to the mix, setting up one of this year\’s hottest anticipated matches at Wrestlepalooza. WWE Wrestlepalooza will take place on September 20, from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from Wrestlepalooza, including breaking news and live results.

  • Bryan Danielson: Raja Jackson Isn\’t A Pro Wrestler After Irresponsible Attack

The incident involving Raja Jackson has sparked widespread reaction after he delivered a series of blows to the head of a seemingly unconscious Syko Stu during a wrestling event. Speaking to UNSCRIPTED, Bryan Danielson weighed in on the situation. While noting that he doesn’t know the full context, Danielson said the matter “seems pretty irresponsible on a lot of different levels.”

Bryan recalled being in the ring with people who didn’t always get along, but stressed that professionalism must always take priority. He added that he doesn’t view Raja Jackson as a professional wrestler, explaining that the business requires “a certain degree of professionalism”—something he believes Jackson lacks.

Raja Jackson has since been arrested and booked on felony charges. His father, UFC veteran Rampage Jackson, has also criticized his son’s actions, though he suggested that police should investigate Stu as well. According to Rampage, authorities should look into past instances where Stu allegedly “attacked somebody backstage and p***ed people off.”

The wrestling world has donated to a fundraiser to help Stu, with Chris Jericho, Jack Perry, Rusev, and more pitching in to help. Content creator Mr. Beast has also donated, giving $10,000 to help Stu and his family cover cover medical expenses, recovery support, and loss of income

This incident shows why trust between wrestlers is essential as those in the ring need to know that the other is prioritizing their safety. With Stu still recovering, Jackson will now work his way through the legal process.

  • Andrade Confirmed for First Post-WWE Appearance In Mexico

Andrade is wasting no time getting back in the ring following his recent WWE exit. It has been confirmed that he will appear for The Crash Lucha Libre on October 3 at the Municipal Auditorium Fausto Gutierrez Moreno in Tijuana. The announcement came via Instagram, where The Crash asked fans who they’d like to see Andrade face.

Andrade has not wrestled since WWE SummerSlam, where he teamed with Rey Fenix in a six-pack TLC match for the WWE Tag Team Championships. His departure from WWE in September 2025 ended his second run with the company, which began with a surprise return in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match.

While Andrade shared his gratitude to WWE on social media, reports suggest his release was not a mutual decision. The former NXT Champion had been absent from TV tapings for nearly a month leading up to his exit.

Looking ahead, Andrade has already teased potential rivalries. He recently challenged AEW’s MJF to a mask vs. hair match in Mexico, though MJF dismissed the idea, telling him to “get over without burning another bridge” before considering a match.

Questions remain as to what the future holds for Andrade, but fans in Tijuana will get to see the former WWE Superstar within a matter of weeks. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Andrade.

  • MJF Rocks Homelander Costume At CMLL 92nd Anniversary In Mexico

MJF was dressed to make a statement when he appeared at the CMLL 92nd Anniversary event. For his mask vs. title match against Mistico, the former AEW World Champion arrived dressed as Homelander from the hit series \’The Boys.\’ MJF arrived in full Homelander garb, including American flag cape, while a person dressed as Abraham Lincoln waved the flag of the United States.

Despite MJF\’s bravado, he would lose the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship to Mistico. Mistico fought back from being busted open early in the match after getting thrown into a steel post. MJF would tap to Mistico\’s La Mistica, keeping his mask and kicking off his first reign as CMLL World Light Heavyweight Champion.

MJF will have little time to recover from this defeat at the hands of Mistico. Instead, the former champion will now turn his attention to Toronto to face Mark Briscoe in a Tables N Thumbtacks match at AEW All Out on September 20.

While MJF didn\’t leave Mexico with the gold or Mistico\’s mask, he certainly made an impression with his match and his attire. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on MJF\’s work both in and out of AEW.

  • Triple H Saw His In-Ring Work Decline Before Retiring

Paul \”Triple H\” Levesque retired from in-ring competition at WrestleMania 38 after a heart issue in 2021 forced him to undergo surgery. While his health forced an abrupt end to his wrestling career, WWE’s Chief Content Officer admitted he had already begun to recognize his decline as an in-ring performer.

Speaking on Good Morning America while promoting Wrestlepalooza, Levesque addressed John Cena’s ongoing retirement tour. When asked about his own decision to step away, he revealed that he realized his speed and sharpness weren’t the same.

\”You start to get to a place where you\’re questioning \’Can I do what I do anymore, the way I used to?\’… When you\’re out there doing it, you feel like your moving quick. And then you watch it back and you\’re like \’Why am I running so slow? Why am I moving like that?\’ You definitely know it\’s there.\”

There are some wrestlers who have continued competing well past what fans consider their prime, and Levesque admitted that stepping away is one of the toughest choices a wrestler can make.

\”It\’s tough to give up. And this business is really tough to give up. This spotlight is bright, and that fanfare.\”

Today, Levesque remains a central figure in WWE’s creative direction and occasionally appears on-screen. With Wrestlepalooza approaching, he’s focused on delivering high-profile events for WWE—this time from behind the scenes rather than inside the ring.

  • Shayna Baszler’s WWE Status After Surprise NXT Homecoming Return

Shayna Baszler’s return during this week’s NXT Homecoming special surprised many wrestling fans. Now, new reports have provided clarity on what may be next for the former NXT Women’s Champion in WWE. Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Baszler’s appearance was a one-off. While some in WWE hope she eventually transitions into a backstage role, Meltzer added that “nothing is in place” at this time.

Fightful Select later offered an update, noting that Baszler has “been backstage at NXT fairly regularly,” despite no official deal being signed. A WWE source told them the company is simply “seeing how things go” with the Queen of Spades — leaving the door open for more appearances, whether on-screen or behind the scenes.

Shayna already has experience behind the scenes with WWE. Shortly after her release, it was revealed that she produced a women\’s division match for NXT. Baszler herself confirmed reports of her backstage role, demonstrating that her exit from WWE hadn\’t been the hard goodbye others had experienced.

For now, Baszler remains a free agent on paper, though her consistent presence at NXT tapings shows she is still connected to WWE. The MMA fighter-turned-wrestler was released in early 2025 during one of the year’s larger roster cuts. She had most recently been featured on WWE TV as part of the Pure Fusion Collective before her departure, making her release all the more surprising.

With years of in-ring experience and a toughness few others in WWE can match, Baszler has all the tools to succeed as a producer or agent. For now, WWE and Baszler appear to be taking things step by step following her unexpected NXT Homecoming cameo.

  • Adriana Rizzo Breaks Her Rule, Reveals WWE NXT Relationship

Adriana Rizzo promised herself she wouldn’t date anyone within WWE when she first joined, but that vow proved easier said than done. Speaking with sports media personality Justin Stuckley, Rizzo revealed that she has broken her rule and is now in a relationship with Cutler James of Dark State.

Rizzo\’s relationship flies in the face of the rule she made not to date anyone. For Rizzo, she felt it was best to avoid any potential drama in the work place.

“I actually had the plan to not date anyone in there because I had previously, you know, tried to date someone on a team in the past and I was like, ‘Oh, this is too much. Too much.’ So I thought, ‘Let me not get into that.’\”

That rule held firm for two years until Rizzo found herself spending more time with James. According to her, James “had a crush on me for the longest time,” while she had “really liked him” for about a year despite her no-dating policy. Eventually, their feelings won out.

\”Finally, I thought, ‘All right, I’ve had a crush on him for over a year. He’s been trying to date me. Let me give it a shot.’ And it turned out to be the best thing.\”

Now, Rizzo and James join WWE’s list of power couples, alongside CM Punk & AJ Lee, Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch, and Jimmy Uso & Naomi. The pair can now look forward to growing together, both personally and professionally, as part of WWE NXT.

  • What Tiffany Stratton\’s Injury Could Mean For WWE Wrestlepalooza

WWE Women\’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has dominated in 2025, but the \’Buff Barbie\’ is now facing a serious obstacle. Stratton is currently dealing with an injury, one that prevented her from competing in a six-woman tag-team match at the WWE NXT Homecoming special. In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter Dave Meltzer reports Stratton’s setback could force WWE to alter creative plans.

One possibility would see the company scrap the originally planned triple threat match, which was set to feature Stratton defending the WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill and Nia Jax. While WWE has yet to officially announce the match, a promotional t-shirt for Wrestlepalooza hinted that this was the planned direction for the title picture.

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline adds that Stratton’s injury occurred during a moonsault off the post on the September 12 episode of WWE SmackDown. The match against Jade Cargill ended shortly after in a double count-out, and Nia Jax appeared noticeably cautious during her post-match attack on Stratton.

2025 has been a career-defining year for Stratton, highlighted by her successful Money in the Bank cash-in and WrestleMania victory. With her recovery timeline still uncertain, fans are concerned that this setback could derail both her momentum and her championship reign.

For now, Stratton remains recognized as WWE Women’s Champion. However, defending the title in a triple threat would already put her at a disadvantage — and not defending it at all could create even bigger challenges for the young star.

  • Tony Khan Addresses Brody King\’s \’Abolish ICE\’ T-Shirt

AEW’s Brody King sparked significant discussion earlier this year when he wore an “Abolish ICE” shirt at AEW Grand Slam Mexico. The shirt and its message quickly drew attention not only in wrestling circles but also in mainstream media, with major outlets such as TMZ, CNN, and Fox News covering the story.

During the AEW All Out media call, Jonathan Ore of CBC asked Tony Khan about how AEW differs from WWE, a company known for its ties to former President Donald Trump. Khan emphasized that AEW is a place where wrestlers are encouraged to be their authentic selves.

“It’s really important to note that the wrestlers in AEW are presented very much so as their authentic selves. In the case of Brody King and Hangman Page, that’s who those guys are. That’s them being themselves,” Khan explained.

He went on to reflect on how professional wrestling brings together people from diverse backgrounds. However, Khan clarified that King’s role in AEW isn’t defined by political views. Instead, he stressed that King and Page are part of the company “because they are awesome wrestlers.”

Any backlash King may have faced for expressing his views on AEW programming hasn’t slowed his momentum. He is a former Trios Champion and currently holds the AEW World Tag Team Championship alongside Bandido.

As for as Khan is concerned, King will continue to be his authentic self for as long as he is part of AEW. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest updates on Brody King.

  • Seth Rollins: AJ Lee Will Be Tested With WWE Wrestlepalooza Return

AJ Lee will compete for the first time in over a decade at Wrestlepalooza, in the show\’s much-anticipated mixed tag-team match. For the first time since the post-WrestleMania 31 Raw in March 2015, AJ will be in action, teaming with her husband CM Punk to battle Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.

AJ\’s in-ring return will be merely the latest for Rollins, who WWE has relied upon in the past to bring the best out of Superstars making comebacks. Speaking to SI Media with Jimmy Traina, Rollins reflected on his role in multiple returns.

\”I\’ve been a part of some big returns over the past few years… CM Punk was gone for a while, but he was wrestling elsewhere during that period of time. Cody Rhodess, same thing. It wasn\’t like these guys were taking time off and taking a vacation. Punk did, but he was active for a couple years before he came back to WWE. These guys had jumped back on the bike for a while or in Cody\’s case, never left.\”

While both Rhodes and Punk had been active in the ring just months before their respective WWE comebacks in 2022 and 2023, AJ’s situation is different. Rollins admitted he’s been impressed by her return since early September, but noted that the real test will come in the ring.

\”AJ, it\’s going to be tricky, man. It\’s gonna be very tricky and we\’ll see how she manages. As you\’ve seen over the past couple weeks, she can hold her own on a microphone, but the bells ring Saturday in Indy and we\’ll let the chips fall where they may.\”

Rollins’ comments reflect the feelings of many who are eager to see how AJ Lee performs in her first match back. Since her WWE exit in 2015, fans have long hoped for her return, but it will now be up to the former Divas Champion to prove she can still deliver in the ring.

WWE Wrestlepalooza will take place on September 20 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest from Wrestlepalooza, including breaking news and live results.

  • TNA Legend ODB Makes Surprise Return on Impact

ODB, one of the most iconic TNA Knockouts of all time, made an appearance on the latest episode of TNA iMPACT! on AXS TV. During the show, ODB was spotted in the crowd and received a loud ovation from the audience. McKenzie Mitchell acknowledged the four-time former Knockouts Champion.

ODB first signed with TNA in 2007 following her run with WWE’s developmental territory, OVW. In 2019, she revealed that Triple H had encouraged her to sign with TNA rather than remain with WWE, as John Laurinaitis believed she wouldn’t fit in with the Divas division at the time. ODB remained with TNA until 2014.

She wasn’t the only familiar face from TNA’s past to appear on the show. Former TNA World Champion Mr. Anderson also returned for a segment with Frankie Kazarian, though he has clarified that his appearance was only a one-off for now.

ODB made a one-off return to the ring as part of a Wrestlecade battle royal last November, and, in recent years, has focused on running her food truck business. While her days as an in-ring competitor may be behind her, her appearance on iMPACT! made it clear there’s still plenty of love from fans for the former Knockout.

  • TKO President Mark Shapiro: Our Superfandom Is Outside the U.S.

Many of WWE and UFC’s biggest events have traditionally taken place in the United States, but the largest portion of their fanbase resides overseas. Speaking on The Varsity with John Ourand podcast, TKO President Mark Shapiro emphasized that the company’s “superfandom” is found outside the U.S.

\”We have a billion TKO fans, and the majority of those fans are outside the U.S. The majority of our economics are in the U.S., but outside is where our superfandom is.\”

His comments come just days after WWE confirmed that WrestleMania 43 will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027. The event will mark WWE’s third WrestleMania outside the U.S. and the first ever to be staged outside North America. Despite the company’s enthusiasm for what some fans are calling “Saudi-Mania,” the announcement has already sparked backlash, including a “you sold out” chant directed at a WrestleMania graphic shown during Worlds Collide.

Before heading to Riyadh, WWE will host a Premium Live Event in Italy in 2026, the company’s first PLE in the country. WWE last brought cameras to Italy earlier this year for a SmackDown on the Road to WrestleMania in Bologna.

While the U.S. remains the financial center of TKO’s operations, the company has made it clear that international growth is a top priority. And with Shapiro pointing to “superfandom” abroad, more major WWE and UFC shows overseas appear inevitable.

  • WWE Alum \”Butthurt\” Over NXT Homecoming Snub

The WWE NXT Homecoming featured plenty of returning stars from the brand’s past, including Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor, Tyler Breez and the returning Shayna Baszler, to name just a few. One name missing, however, was Baron Corbin—now competing as Bishop Dyer—a snub that left the former WWE Superstar feeling disappointed.

Appearing on Off The Ropes with Jonathan Coachman, Dyer admitted his frustrations about being excluded. Despite being a key figure during NXT’s formative years and later returning to the brand, he was neither invited to the show nor featured in its tribute package.

“I was a little butthurt about the whole thing. That opening package they did for the show was super dope, and they had a lot of Superstars from the past… I didn’t make the cut.”

According to Dyer, the only reference to Baron Corbin at NXT Homecoming came when he noticed someone in the crowd wearing one of his T-shirts. While he appreciated the nod, he reiterated feeling “butthurt” over the lack of official recognition.

Dyer suggested that his recent WWE release may have been a factor. As he explained, “you’ve gotta kinda give it a year or so before they start acknowledging your existence.”

Corbin played a major role in the celebrated 2015–2016 era of NXT—widely considered one of the brand’s peaks—and years later returned to capture the NXT Tag Team Titles. Though no longer with WWE, Dyer emphasized that NXT remains a meaningful part of his career, which made his absence from Homecoming all the more difficult to accept.

  • AJ Styles Shares Preference For Standard Ring Over TNA\’s Six Sides

The six-sided ring was once synonymous with TNA Wrestling, but AJ Styles has little desire to return to the hexagonal setup. Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Styles explained just how painful the ring could be.

“There was a point in time where Kurt [Angle] and I were wrestling and he was gonna give me the belly-to-belly off the top. I remember taking that and I go, ‘Never taking that again. Don’t ask me, Kurt!’”

Styles and Angle wrestled multiple times during their TNA careers, and when Angle later suggested the move again—this time in a traditional squared ring—Styles reluctantly agreed. To his surprise, the landing was far more forgiving.

“He gave me it in a squared ring and I was like, ‘Oh.’ I landed and it was nothing compared to what it was.”

Styles had been angry about TNA moving from six sides to the squared ring at first, as the six sides had set TNA apart from countless other promotions. Once he took the top rope move from Angle, Styles\’ view change, as he shared \”\’Eh, I\’m okay with the squared ring now.\’\”

While Styles isn’t a fan of the six sides, he acknowledged the design as a defining part of TNA’s identity.

“We made it who we were. I think they lost their identity to a certain extent, when they went to just a regular ring.”

Now approaching a decade in WWE, Styles’ days inside the six-sided ring are well behind him. Still, the memories—both painful and meaningful—remain a lasting part of his career.

  • Cody Rhodes Names WWE Stars Who Could Succeed Triple H

For years, Paul “Triple H” Levesque has served as WWE’s Chief Content Officer, shaping what fans see on television. But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end—and Cody Rhodes is already considering what WWE might look like in a post-Levesque era.

Speaking on First Take, Rhodes was asked about his potential role in WWE ten years from now and whether he could see himself succeeding Levesque. While Triple H has given no indication of stepping down and has ruled out an in-ring return, Rhodes admitted the position has sparked interest among talents.

“There’s starting to become a fight for it… I felt like I had some experience and some interest in something like that,” Rhodes said.

Though open to the idea, Rhodes suggested he may not be the leading candidate. Instead, he praised CM Punk for his backstage work with the NXT roster.

“It’s very clear that CM Punk is really great at helping develop young talent. He probably has a knack for it more than anybody.”

Rhodes also named Seth Rollins as a strong contender. Having shared the ring with him as both ally and rival, Rhodes believes the World Heavyweight Champion has the leadership qualities to guide WWE’s future.

“Seth Rollins is a little bit more rough around the edges, but would probably be an outstanding boss.”

Beyond those names, Rhodes pointed to “tons of other people” who could one day take on management roles, mentioning Bayley and Roman Reigns among them.

For now, Rhodes is focused on his role as WWE Champion, but the former AEW EVP isn’t ruling out another future in management—this time in WWE.

  • Tony Khan Vows to Bring AEW to This City Every Year

Wrestling fans in London, Ontario, can look forward to seeing AEW live every single year, according to Tony Khan. Taking to X, Khan made his claim that AEW will be coming back to London every year, adding that the fans in the city are \”tremendous.\”

Khan\’s comments come after AEW held its September to Remember event on September 17 at the Canada Life Place in London. The show served as the go-home episode of AEW Dynamite before All Out, scheduled to take place on September 20. Highlights of the show saw \’Hangman\’ Adam Page and Kyle Fletcher sign the contract for their World title match, while a brawl between the Don Callis family and Page ended the show.

The September 17 event, held at the Canada Life Centre, served as the go-home edition of AEW Dynamite before All Out on September 20. Highlights included Hangman Adam Page and Kyle Fletcher signing the contract for their World Championship match, and a chaotic brawl between the Don Callis Family and Page closing the show.

AEW is no stranger to Canada, having already hosted several events and pay-per-views in the country. All Out 2025 will emanate from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, marking just the second time the event has taken place outside of the Chicago metropolitan area.

Given Canada’s rich wrestling history, AEW’s continued presence in the country feels like a natural fit. With Khan confirming more shows in London, Ontario, fans can look forward to plenty of All Elite action in the region for years to come.

  • Toni Storm Hates Mariah May, Big Fan Of Blake Monroe

AEW Women\’s World Champion \”Timeless\” Toni Storm remains at odds with her former protégé Mariah May, but she’s a big fan of May’s new WWE persona as NXT’s Blake Monroe.

Speaking in-character on the Ariel Helwani Show, Storm didn’t hold back when reflecting on her former ally, calling her \”the single most evil cold-hearted b***h I’ve ever met in my life.\” Storm took credit for May leaving AEW earlier this year, adding that \”I’m glad that I’ve banished her.”

While Storm had nothing kind to say about May, she admitted admiration for Monroe’s WWE work. “I’m a big fan of Blake Monroe,” Storm noted, adding that while she hasn’t followed NXT closely, the glimpses she’s seen from Monroe have been “wonderful.”

Storm defeated May in a Hollywood Ending match at AEW Revolution in March 2025, in what would prove to be May\’s final appearance as an AEW wrestler. May debuted for WWE in June 2025, though WWE held off naming her upon her arrival. May was rechristened Blake Monroe the following week, a nod to Marilyn Monroe and her niece Blake.

As for Storm, she now prepares to defend the AEW Women’s World Championship (a title she won from May) at AEW All Out on September 20. Storm will face Thekla, Jamie Hayter, and Kris Statlander in a four-way match at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.

The Storm–May rivalry is widely regarded as one of AEW’s strongest women’s storylines to date. While the two may never share the ring again, their animosity remains, even as Storm expresses her admiration for Blake Monroe.

  • Lola Vice: NXT No Mercy Title Match Is My WrestleMania

Lola Vice has a golden opportunity at WWE NXT No Mercy to capture the NXT Women’s Championship when she challenges Jacy Jayne. Just days before the biggest match of her career, Vice spoke with Going Ringside\’s Scott Johnson about her mindset heading into the title bout.

“This is my third opportunity challenging for the title and I believe now more than ever, I’m ready. Jacy is a very tough champion. She took the title off of Stephanie.”

Vice won’t just have to contend with Jayne on September 27. If history is any guide, she’ll also have to deal with Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx of Fatal Influence—something she’s fully aware of.

“[Jayne has] Fallon and Jazmyn, even though I’ve knocked them both out already. I think I have my hands full next Saturday.”

Over her time in NXT, Vice has risen through the ranks to establish herself as one of the brand’s top competitors. Now, in her hometown of Miami, she has the chance to achieve her dream in front of friends and family.

“Next Saturday is my WrestleMania in Miami. Like this is my moment and this is my opportunity to bring that title home… it just really feels like the stars aligning and this is my moment.”

After signing a new contract earlier this year, Vice is confident she has the tools to dethrone Jayne. But with the champion’s track record and the looming presence of Fatal Influence, leaving Miami as the new NXT Women’s Champion will be no easy task.
