  • Details on Rusev’s WWE Contract, Lana Signs Legends Deal

Miroslav “Miro” Barnyashev and CJ Perry have officially returned to WWE in newly signed deals, according to Rosy Cordero of Deadline. Rusev made a surprise to WWE on Monday’s Raw After WrestleMania from Last Vegas.

“Rusev is back to crush the WWE and become World Champion,” Perry told Deadline. “We have been cooking this up from our Bulgarian kitchen since the day we left, and with the help of Paradigm, we were able to make this a reality! Machka Crush.”

    Rusev in WWE

Barnyashev, known to WWE fans as Rusev, debuted with the company in 2014. He quickly rose to prominence as an undefeated powerhouse alongside Perry, who portrayed his manager Lana. Over the years, Rusev captured the United States Championship three times and competed in high-profile matches against stars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles. His mix of in-ring dominance and comedic flair made him a standout personality. He was released from WWE in April 2020 during pandemic-related roster cuts.

    AEW and WWE Return

Following his WWE exit, Barnyashev joined AEW under the name Miro in 2020. He went on to win the AEW TNT Championship in May 2021 and held the title for 140 days while portraying “The Redeemer.” His final AEW appearance aired in December 2023, and he officially departed in February 2025. He now returns to WWE on a two-year contract.

    Lana Legend

Perry, who debuted in WWE in 2013, became a central figure in Rusev’s early career and later transitioned into in-ring competition, participating in multiple prominent storylines. She was released in 2021 and rejoined Barnyashev in AEW in 2023 before exiting the promotion in 2024. Perry has returned to WWE under a Legends Deal signed earlier this month.

    Outside WWE

Outside the ring, Barnyashev and Perry continue building their presence in Hollywood. They are set to appear in the upcoming action comedy Guns Up starring Kevin James, with Barnyashev previously guest-starring on East New York.

  • Paul Heyman on His WrestleMania Betrayals: Punk Put Me in ‘Impossible’ Position, Reigns Turned on Me

Paul Heyman has broken his silence on his shocking WrestleMania betrayals. Appearing on the post-WrestleMania Pat McAfee Show (April 21, 2025), Heyman emotionally defended his decision to aid Seth Rollins in defeating both Roman Reigns and CM Punk in the WrestleMania 41 main event. While many fans saw Heyman’s actions as a stunning act of disloyalty, he framed the moment as the culmination of deep personal betrayal—by both Punk and Reigns.

“I was loyal to CM Punk. I brought him back after the Hell in a Cell. I gave him a spotlight. I gave him a chance to redeem himself with the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns—and he puts me in this impossible, impossible, emotional, compromising position. That was an absolute no-win. It was a must-lose with my Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. And that’s my best friend?”

Heyman claims he honored every promise to Punk, even escorting him to the ring at WrestleMania. But when confronted by the crushing weight of Reigns’ rejection:

“Let’s be clear about this—I didn’t betray Roman Reigns. What did I do? Did I put my hands on Roman Reigns on Monday night and shove him down to the canvas in front of millions watching at home? I didn’t touch Roman Reigns. What did I do? I got shoved down to the canvas. I got emasculated in front of the entire WWE Universe by my Tribal Chief Roman Reigns…”

“Roman Reigns uses everyone in his sight—squeezes the juice out of the fruit until it’s not useful anymore, and then discards them. Like he did to me. Like he did to others before me. And I know that now. Seth Rollins knows that too…”

“I got emasculated in front of the entire WWE Universe by my Tribal Chief”—Heyman snapped. “Yeah, I hit him right in the balls—damn right I did…”

In classic Heyman fashion, he laced scathing barbs with philosophical insight:

“You ask me how I’m disloyal? Nobody is making the case against me. I am! Yeah, I hit him right in the balls—damn right I did. And you? You did the same thing to the guy who gave you everything. So don’t come at me like I’m the traitor.”

  • Rusev Returns on WWE Raw After WrestleMania 41

Rusev made a surprise return to WWE during the Monday Night Raw following WrestleMania 41, and received a massive ovation from fans at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The lights dimmed before the former United States Champion emerged, marking his first WWE appearance in five years.

His return follows a multi-year stint in AEW, where he competed under the name Miro. The move had been anticipated after Big E publicly mentioned that Rusev had confirmed his WWE comeback during a WrestleMania weekend Fanatics Live Signing.

Rusev and his wife CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana, were spotted in Las Vegas over WrestleMania weekend, further fueling anticipation of his return. Rusev’s re-emergence opens the door to high-stakes rivalries, with names like GUNTHER and United States Champion Jacob Fatu already being discussed as potential opponents.

The post-WrestleMania Raw has long been a stage for major surprises, and Rusev’s return added another memorable moment to that tradition.

  • Scarlett Teases Big Change for Herself and Karrion Kross After Viral Promo

Scarlett took to social media Monday, suggesting possible changes ahead for herself and Karrion Kross after a fiery promo from Kross during a recent WrestleMania 41 recap stream.

In a post on X, Scarlett wrote that “whatever happens” moving forward, she’s proud to have stood by Kross, who “never plays it safe.” Her message followed a segment where both she and Kross appeared on a stream hosted by Sam Roberts and Megan Morant.

During the broadcast, Kross unleashed a blistering promo, expressing frustration over AJ Styles declining his help in dealing with Logan Paul. He also criticized WWE’s decision to spotlight Paul on the WrestleMania stage, while he and Scarlett—25-year veterans—have yet to receive such an opportunity.

Kross recounted an encounter with Bill Goldberg, who once told him to “be a good soldier.” Reflecting on that advice, Kross declared that loyalty and patience no longer lead to success in WWE. “It’s all about viral moments now,” he said.

He further claimed that his organic buildup toward a potential match with Randy Orton was overlooked in favor of trend-driven booking. Referencing recent events, he concluded the tirade with a direct shot: “You want a viral moment? Guy with the suit and tie behind the truck, go f**k yourself. And that’s from Killer Kross.”

Kross exited the stream visibly upset, with Scarlett attempting to calm him down. As he left, he also voiced frustration about his lack of privacy in the wrestling world.

  • Rhea Ripley Reveals \’Souvenir\’ Black Eye Following WrestleMania 41

Rhea Ripley shared a photo on Instagram revealing a black eye she sustained during her high-impact match at WrestleMania 41. Competing in the opening bout of Sunday’s card, Ripley faced Bianca Belair and defending champion Iyo Sky in a Women’s World Championship triple threat match.

Despite entering with strong momentum, Ripley did not walk away with the title. The match\’s closing moments saw Belair counter Ripley\’s Riptide and hit a powerful KOD slam. As Belair appeared poised for victory, Sky capitalized with her Over The Moonsault, pinning Belair to retain the championship.

Though Ripley didn\’t secure the win, the match has received widespread praise from fans, with many calling it one of the best opening matches—and one of the standout women’s matches—in WrestleMania history.

  • Jade Cargill Reflects on WWE Growth: \’I’ve Grown So Much Being Here\’

Before stepping onto the WrestleMania 41 stage, Jade Cargill opened up about her WWE journey in a candid interview with SHAK Wrestling, offering rare insight into her development behind the scenes. Though fans have now seen her in-ring progress firsthand, Cargill’s comments before the match make clear how far she’s come—and where she’s headed.

“I’ve grown so much being here,” she said, pointing to the unique training opportunities WWE has offered. “Going to Japan, Germany…

working with different styles under one roof.” For Cargill, who was known more for her presence than polish early in her career, that global exposure has been transformative.

    Becoming a Well-Rounded Performer

Cargill credited key WWE trainers, including Matt Bloom and Terry Taylor, as well as her time working alongside NXT talent.

“They legit are in there working their tails off,” she shared. “It made me want to work just as hard.”

Those insights came ahead of her emotionally charged WrestleMania showdown with Naomi—an intense match built not around titles or stipulations, but personal history. Still, the storyline spotlight didn’t overshadow Cargill’s deeper focus: becoming a more complete performer.

“I know what works and what doesn’t,” she added, reflecting on how WWE’s structured environment helped her find clarity in her approach.

Now, with her WrestleMania moment behind her, Cargill’s words resonate more than ever. Her journey in WWE isn’t about proving something to others—it’s about evolving, adapting, and continuing to grow.

  • More on WWE\’s Acquisition of AAA: Expected Closing in Q3 2025

WWE issued a press release on Monday morning regarding the acquisition of AAA (Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide), marking a historic expansion into the Latin American wrestling market.

The most newsworthy information is that the acquisition, executed in partnership with Mexico-based sports and entertainment holding company Fillip, is expected to close in Q3 2025, pending \”customary closing conditions.\”

The news was initially revealed during the WrestleMania 41 Saturday Countdown show, with WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque joined by Fillip Chairman Alberto Fasja, AAA’s Marisela Peña and Dorian Roldán Peña, as well as WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and AAA standout El Hijo Del Vikingo.

As part of the announcement, WWE also revealed a new crossover event: Worlds Collide, scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The show will feature top stars from both WWE and AAA, with a start time of 12 PM PT.

“AAA has a rich cultural heritage with some of the most passionate fans in the world,” said Triple H. “It’s an honor to work with the Peña family. By bringing together WWE’s global capabilities and AAA’s amazing tradition, we look forward to an exciting future filled with new opportunities.”

Founded in 1992 by legendary promoter Antonio Peña, AAA has long served as a launching pad for lucha legends like Eddie Guerrero, Penta, and Rey Mysterio. The promotion has remained a family-run business for over 30 years, a legacy that will continue with the Peña family playing an active role in its next chapter under WWE and Fillip’s stewardship.

“AAA has been a family-operated promotion for over three decades,” said Dorian Roldán Peña, AAA General Manager. “Our trust could not be better placed than with one of the biggest sports entertainment businesses in the world.”

The acquisition underscores WWE’s global localization strategy, following similar partnerships with TNA and Pro Wrestling NOAH. It also signals a growing focus on expanding the WWE brand into Latin America.

“We look forward to partnering with WWE and TKO on this venture to secure the future of AAA,” added Hugo López-Velarde, Fillip Co-Founder and Co-CEO.

  • CM Punk Reacts to Paul Heyman’s WrestleMania 41 Betrayal

    • CM Punk reflects on his long history with Paul Heyman, expressing disappointment and promising to speak further on Monday Night Raw.
    • Despite their shared past, Punk made it clear that Heyman’s actions have consequences—and he knows what’s coming.

WrestleMania Saturday ended with one of the most unexpected moments in recent WWE history. Paul Heyman turned on both Roman Reigns and CM Punk, two of his closest friends, aligning himself with Seth Rollins. Now, CM Punk has addressed the betrayal in his first public comments since the event.

Speaking with Daniel Cormier on ESPN, Punk shared his emotional response to Heyman’s actions, hinting that more will unfold on Monday Night Raw.

“I got a lot of thoughts, a lot of feelings—and you best believe I’m going to make everybody tune in to Monday Night Raw on Netflix to find out exactly if I have anything to say,” Punk said. “When I’m gonna say it, it’s going to be tomorrow night.”

Punk reflected on his long-standing relationship with Heyman, describing it as one rooted in trust and shared history. He recalled a previous incident where Heyman threw a ladder at his head, resulting in 13 staples—a moment that reminded him just how far Heyman is willing to go.

Despite past issues, Punk said he chose to trust Heyman again because of the significance of main-eventing WrestleMania. He wanted to share that moment with someone he believed had always supported him.

“To me, main eventing WrestleMania was important,” Punk explained. “I needed to share it with somebody who got me there. Somebody who never gave up on me. But now—he’s turned on me.”

While Heyman’s allegiance now lies with Seth Rollins, Punk made it clear this story is far from over. As tensions rise, all eyes are on Monday Night Raw to see how Punk will respond to the betrayal.

  • Cody Rhodes’ 378-Day Undisputed WWE Title Reign Ends at WrestleMania 41

Cody Rhodes’ 378-day reign as Undisputed WWE Champion officially concluded on April 20, 2025, when John Cena defeated him at WrestleMania 41 Night 2 in Paradise, Nevada. The match marked the end of one of the longest and most impactful title reigns in modern WWE history.

    Rhodes’ Journey to the Top

Rhodes captured the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania XL on April 7, 2024, by defeating Roman Reigns in a Bloodline Rules match. The win symbolized Rhodes “finishing his story” and claiming his first world title in WWE.

His path to the title included a loss in a tag match on WrestleMania XL Night 1, where he and Seth Rollins fell to The Rock and Roman Reigns. As a result, his championship match became a Bloodline Rules contest. Despite interference from members of The Bloodline, Rhodes was aided by Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, John Cena, and The Undertaker to secure the victory.

    Key Title Defenses

During his reign, Rhodes consistently defended the championship against top-tier opponents. Notable televised defenses included matches against:

    • AJ Styles
    • Logan Paul
    • Solo Sikoa, including a Steel Cage match on SmackDown
    • Kevin Owens

In addition to televised events, Rhodes defended his title at numerous live events, facing challengers like Dominik Mysterio, Jacob Fatu, Austin Theory, Carmelo Hayes, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Santos Escobar.

    Significance of the Reign

Rhodes’ 378-day reign stands among the longest of WWE’s modern era. While it falls short of records set by legends like Bruno Sammartino or Bob Backlund, it eclipsed the 434-day reign of CM Punk and established Rhodes as a reliable main-event presence.

His run followed Roman Reigns’ 1,316-day Universal Championship reign, positioning Rhodes as WWE’s central figure throughout the past year. His consistency, crowd connection, and match quality earned widespread praise from critics and fans alike.

    A Legacy Cemented

By the time of his final defense at WrestleMania 41, Rhodes had firmly established himself as a defining champion of his generation. Wrestling media outlets highlighted his reign as a major creative and fan engagement success. As of February 2025, Bleacher Report awarded the run an “A,” citing Rhodes’ ability to deliver across all challenges during his reign.

Rhodes’ journey—from leaving WWE, co-founding AEW, and returning to win WWE’s top title—culminated in a reign that solidified his place in wrestling history. With his loss, John Cena begins his record-setting 14th WWE Championship reign, marking the start of a new chapter in the company’s evolving landscape.

  • Ric Flair Congratulates John Cena on 17th World Title Win at WrestleMania 41

John Cena has officially become a 17-time world champion after defeating Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41. The milestone victory sets a new record, surpassing the legendary 16-time championship mark previously held by Ric Flair.

In response, Flair shared his congratulations on social media, writing:

“Congrats to my great friend @JohnCena on becoming a 17x Champion! It was only a matter of time! You and @CodyRhodes put on an instant classic! Much respect! WOOOOO!”

Cena’s win not only marks a career-defining moment but also closes a historic chapter in WWE history. The highly anticipated match lived up to expectations, earning praise for both its storytelling and in-ring performance.

The night ends with Cena standing alone at the top, etching his name in the record books as the most decorated world champion in WWE history.

This schedule continues WWE’s focus on both domestic markets and international expansion heading into 2026.

  • Dominik Mysterio Wins Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 41

Dominik Mysterio captured the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41 Night Two, securing his first main roster singles title in a chaotic fatal four-way match against Bron Breakker, Finn Balor, and Penta.

The bout marked the first title change of the night and followed Drew McIntyre’s win over Damian Priest, and IYO SKY retaining the Women’s World Championship in the opening match.

Heading into the match, all eyes were on the dynamics between Mysterio and Balor, with ongoing signs of tension within The Judgment Day. While the two initially appeared to cooperate, that unity crumbled when Mysterio attempted a 619 on Balor.

Fan support leaned heavily in Mysterio’s favor throughout the match. A key turning point came when Carlito interfered, breaking up a potential pin from Penta on Mysterio. The action escalated further with Breakker delivering a high-flying spear to Carlito across the announce tables.

Back in the ring, Breakker took out Penta with a spear but was then hit with a 619 from Mysterio. As Mysterio set up for a frog splash, Balor intervened, landing the Coup De Grace on Breakker. Mysterio immediately countered with a splash of his own on Balor, securing the pin and the title.

Mysterio’s win received a huge ovation from the crowd. Previously, he held the SmackDown Tag Team Championship alongside his father, Rey Mysterio, and had a reign as NXT North American Champion. Breakker’s second reign with the Intercontinental Title ends after reclaiming it from Jey Uso in October.

  • Joe Hendry Answers Randy Orton’s WrestleMania 41 Open Challenge

Joe Hendry made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 41, stepping in as Randy Orton’s open challenge opponent. The current TNA World Champion received a huge reaction from the Las Vegas crowd, who joined in on his signature entrance music and chants throughout the match.

The encounter marked another milestone in Hendry’s role in the TNA-WWE partnership, following his previous stint in NXT and his participation in the 2025 Royal Rumble.

Although the match was brief, ending with Orton hitting the RKO for the win, the post-match moment stood out. Orton raised Hendry’s hand in a gesture of respect—only to drop him with another RKO moments later. He capped off the segment by mocking Hendry’s trademark taunt in the ring.

Orton had been originally scheduled to face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania, but Owens was pulled from the event after learning he would require neck surgery, leaving his future in question.

  • John Cena Confirmed for Final WWE Match in Australia This October

John Cena will make his final wrestling appearance in Australia this October as WWE brings a major event weekend to Perth.

A promotional video aired during WrestleMania confirmed WWE’s return to Western Australia, featuring a full lineup across three nights at RAC Arena. The weekend will include SmackDown, a Premium Live Event, and Raw, with Cena featured as the focal point.

“This October, John Cena lands in Perth for a full-scale WWE takeover.”

“It all starts with SmackDown, ends with Raw. And in the center of it all, Cena takes the spotlight for one of WWE’s most massive nights in Perth.”

While exact dates have not yet been revealed, WWE commentator Michael Cole confirmed that the PLE is “soon to be announced.”

  • Still Bored at Work: Drew McIntyre’s WrestleMania 41 Selfie

Drew McIntyre took a moment out of his Sin City Street Fight at WrestleMania 41 to shoot a quick selfie with his downed opponent Damian Priest in the background. McIntyre began the tradition at last year’s WrestleMania XL.

  • The End of an Era: Bianca Belair’s WrestleMania Streak is Broken

Bianca Belair’s flawless WrestleMania record came to an end at WrestleMania 41, as Iyo Sky defeated “The EST of WWE” in a pivotal matchup. The result marked Belair’s first loss at WWE’s biggest annual event, halting her previously unbeaten 4-0 streak.

Belair’s WrestleMania legacy began with her groundbreaking main event victory at WrestleMania 37 against Sasha Banks, where she captured the SmackDown Women’s Championship. That match became a milestone moment in WWE history, featuring the first-ever WrestleMania main event between two African-American performers.

Over the following years, Belair solidified her dominance with wins over Becky Lynch and Asuka, both in championship defenses. At WrestleMania 40, she extended her streak to 4-0 alongside Jade Cargill and Naomi in a six-woman tag match against Damage CTRL.

Heading into WrestleMania 41, many believed Belair would continue her streak, with some fans viewing her as a potential “Mrs. WrestleMania.” However, Iyo Sky’s victory brought a surprising close to Belair’s run of success on WWE’s grandest stage.

Despite the loss, Belair’s accolades remain unmatched. Her 420-day reign as Raw Women’s Champion stands as the longest in that title’s history. She is also one of only two women to win a WrestleMania main event and became a WWE Women’s Triple Crown Champion after winning tag team gold with Jade Cargill in 2024.

While this defeat marks a rare low point in her WrestleMania career, Belair has proven her resilience before—and now faces a new chapter in her storied journey through WWE.

  • IYO SKY Retains Women’s World Title in WrestleMania Triple Threat

IYO SKY retained the Women’s World Championship in a high-impact opening match at WrestleMania Sunday, outlasting Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair in a fast-paced triple-threat bout.

All three competitors delivered an athletic, high-energy performance that drew strong reactions from the crowd. The momentum built steadily throughout the match, with each Superstar showcasing signature offense and near falls.

In the final sequence, Ripley and Belair countered each other’s finishing moves before Belair landed the KOD on Ripley. Just as Belair appeared poised for victory, SKY capitalized, landing the Over The Moonsault on Belair to secure the pin and retain her title.

  • Triple H Reacts to Jey Uso’s World Title Win at WrestleMania 41

Jey Uso’s milestone victory at WrestleMania 41 earned high praise from WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, who took to social media to commend the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Uso defeated Gunther in a high-stakes matchup to claim the title, marking one of the biggest moments of his singles career. Following the match, Triple H shared a message on X (formerly Twitter), emphasizing Jey’s intangible qualities and deep wrestling heritage.

“You cannot teach what Jey Uso has… His connection to our audience, his passion, his charisma… and generations of this business running through his veins,” he wrote. “Jey @WWEUsos is your new World Heavyweight Champion. Congratulations… and… YEET.”

The brief but impactful statement underscored Jey Uso’s journey from tag team standout to world champion, solidifying his place as a top singles competitor in WWE.

  • WWE NXT x AAA: Worlds Collide Set for June 7, 2025

WWE and AAA are teaming up for a major crossover event titled NXT x AAA: Worlds Collide, set for June 7, 2025, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

This collaboration between WWE’s NXT and Mexico’s Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide marks a milestone in WWE’s ongoing expansion of international partnerships. It follows recent collaborations with TNA and Japan’s Pro Wrestling NOAH, reflecting a broader shift under Triple H’s leadership toward inter-promotional cooperation.

The event is expected to feature NXT stars facing off against AAA’s top luchadores in one of 2025’s most anticipated wrestling showcases. It remains unclear if other partner promotions like TNA will also be involved.

Held at the iconic Kia Forum, Worlds Collide continues WWE’s efforts to blur promotional boundaries and create unique opportunities for fans and talent worldwide. More details, including ticket sales and broadcast information, are expected soon.

  • WWE Acquires AAA in Landmark Expansion Into Mexican Wrestling

WWE has officially acquired Lucha Libre AAA, one of Mexico’s top wrestling promotions, in a major move to expand its presence in the Latin American market. The acquisition was announced on April 19, 2025, just ahead of WrestleMania 41.

This strategic acquisition continues WWE’s push into international partnerships, following earlier collaborations with TNA Wrestling, NOAH, and Marigold.

    The Announcement

The news was shared by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, alongside AAA executives Marisela Peña and Dorian Roldán. Present at the announcement were top luchadores including Rey Mysterio, Stephanie Vaquer, Rey Fenix, PENTA, Andrade, El Hijo del Vikingo, and Santos Escobar.

“We’re ready to take Lucha Libre to the next level,” said Levesque, signaling a new era for AAA under the WWE banner.

    Crossover Event:

    NXT x AAA: Worlds Collide

WWE revealed that the first joint event, NXT x AAA: Worlds Collide, will take place on June 7, 2025, at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles. This marks a revival of the Worlds Collide format, previously used for crossover events between NXT, NXT UK, and 205 Live.

    Expanding Global Strategy

The acquisition reflects a broader shift in WWE’s approach under Triple H’s leadership, moving toward strategic partnerships across the wrestling industry. WWE has recently:

    • Formed a talent-sharing partnership with TNA Wrestling
    • Worked with Japanese promotions NOAH and Marigold
    • Collaborated with GCW on WWE ID programming
    • Launched the WWE Independent Development (ID) initiative

Securing AAA strengthens WWE’s presence in the Mexican market and intensifies its rivalry with AEW, which currently partners with AAA’s competitor, CMLL.

What It Means for the Industry

AAA, despite recent criticisms over its booking, remains a key player in the lucha libre scene. With this acquisition, WWE gains access to a deep roster of luchadores already familiar to international audiences. It also opens up new opportunities for crossover matches and expanded reach across Latin America.

NXT x AAA: Worlds Collide on June 7 will serve as the first major showcase of this new alliance, setting the tone for WWE’s continued global expansion.

  • WrestleMania 41 Debuts: Stratton, Fatu, Breakker & More Set for First Appearances

WrestleMania 41 will showcase a new generation of WWE talent making their debut appearances at the marquee event this weekend in Las Vegas. From title matches to high-profile confrontations, these six superstars are stepping into the spotlight for the first time on WWE’s grandest stage.

    Tiffany Stratton

The 25-year-old Women’s Champion, and former gymnast, will defend her title against Charlotte Flair. Stratton, whose gymnastics career ended due to injury, has called this her “Olympic debut,” underlining the significance of the moment.

    Jacob Fatu

Known as the “Samoan Werewolf,” Fatu will challenge LA Knight for the United States Championship. He earned the title shot after defeating Braun Strowman in a Last Man Standing match.

    El Grande Americano

Wrestling under a masked identity, El Grande Americano—believed to be Chad Gable—will face Rey Mysterio in a rare battle of masked icons.

    Lyra Valkyria

The current Women’s Intercontinental Champion will team with Bayley in a bid to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. A win would make Valkyria the first woman to hold both titles simultaneously.

    Bron Breakker

The second-generation star defends the Intercontinental Championship in a fatal 4-way match, and makes his WrestleMania debut in Las Vegas just like his father, Rick Steiner.

    Penta

The WWE newcomer is already making his mark, and looks to cement his legacy on professional wrestling’s grandest stage.

These debuts at WrestleMania 41 reflect a growing shift in WWE’s landscape, as new talent steps forward to shape the future of the company.

  • WrestleMania: Triple H Says WWE is Ready for the Challenge of Going International

WWE’s top executive Paul “Triple H” Levesque isn’t ruling out the idea of taking WrestleMania beyond North America, even if the logistics are complex. In a new interview with Daily Mail, Levesque acknowledged the significant planning involved in staging WWE’s marquee event internationally but emphasized the company’s willingness to make it happen.

“To answer the WrestleMania question, that’s like the Super Bowl,” Levesque said. “People don’t understand the logistics of what that takes. Just going to Las Vegas requires weeks of setup and operations on the ground. When that goes international, it becomes even harder. That’s the challenge. We’re up for it.”

WrestleMania has only been held outside the United States twice, both times in Canada—in 1990 and 2002. However, with WWE’s strong global presence, cities like London have shown growing interest in becoming future hosts.

This weekend’s WrestleMania 41 spectacular has already descended upon Las Vegas, while New Orleans is confirmed to host its third WrestleMania next year in 2026.

  • Triple H Reaffirms NXT Europe Plans, Highlights WWE’s Global Talent Strategy

Triple H has confirmed that NXT Europe remains a key part of WWE’s international expansion strategy. Despite delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the WWE executive reiterated his commitment to growing the company’s presence in major global markets, including Europe, Japan, the Middle East, and India.

Speaking during recent WWE tryouts in the UK, Triple H described the relaunch of international development programs as “exciting,” referencing the model first built with NXT UK. “I still believe it’s there,” he told Daily Mail, asserting that pandemic-related travel restrictions—not waning interest—halted the original plans.

With WWE holding European tryouts ahead of WrestleMania, Triple H’s vision for talent development remains focused on identifying charisma and leadership over prior wrestling experience.

“Athleticism is important, but once you get through that, it’s less important. It becomes about who has that X-factor,” he explained.

He pointed to WWE stars like Bianca Belair as examples of athletes who entered with little to no wrestling background but had the presence and drive to succeed. “Charisma and leadership—those are hard to teach,” he added.

Triple H also touched on WWE’s global event strategy, confirming more international premium live events are coming, including a return to the UK. As for a future WrestleMania in London, he acknowledged the complex logistics involved but expressed enthusiasm about making it happen.

As WWE’s global footprint grows through partnerships and platforms like Netflix, Triple H emphasized the company’s goal: “To give opportunity to talent across the world—and replicate this model everywhere.”
