Chelsea Green has been forced out of her scheduled AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship defense after suffering a foot injury on SmackDown.
Green was set to defend the titles alongside Ethan Page against Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana on Friday’s AAA on Fox broadcast, but an injury sustained during the February 6th episode of SmackDown derailed those plans. La Hiedra stepped in as Green’s replacement for the championship match.
In the bout that aired on February 7th, Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana defeated Ethan Page and La Hiedra to capture the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships, ending Green and Page’s reign.
Green took to social media following the title loss, posting a photo of her foot in a walking boot while expressing her frustration with AAA’s decision to allow the match to proceed without her.
The AUDACITY of @luchalibreaaa to throw @OfficialEGO into a match like that after I almost ended my career on Smackdown last night from a near fatal fall ???? Ethan, we need to talk!!! pic.twitter.com/sT2SiQCp8Y
“The AUDACITY of [Lucha Libre AAA] to throw [Ethan Page] into a match like that after I almost ended my career on Smackdown last night from a near fatal fall,” Green wrote. “Ethan, we need to talk!!!”
The severity of Green’s injury and her expected timeline for return remain unclear at this time. The newly-crowned champions Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana now begin their reign as AAA Mixed Tag Team titleholders.
Je\’Von Evans has revealed his ultimate WWE dream: a WrestleMania match against his best friend and lifelong training partner Jackson Drake.
Speaking on the Cheap Heat podcast, Evans made a bold declaration about the match he considers essential to his career legacy.
\”One day Javon Evans, Jackson Drake, WrestleMania. Like, do you see this happen? It\’s happening for sure. I\’m not going to retire until that happens,\” Evans stated emphatically. \”It\’s gonna happen, bro. It\’s gonna happen. I have full faith in it.\”
Evans and Drake\’s friendship dates back to when they were both 13-year-olds training at the same wrestling school. The bond they\’ve built through years of working together makes Evans believe their story has the potential to rival one of wrestling\’s most beloved rivalries.
\”The only thing I can think of is like Hardy Boys,\” Evans said when describing the package that could accompany their eventual WrestleMania clash, referencing Matt and Jeff Hardy\’s legendary brother vs. brother storyline.
Throughout their journey, Evans credits Drake for shaping his high-flying wrestling style.
\”Jack man he can do—he actually got me into like the highflying game. He\’s told us he\’s down to do basically anything. Yeah, he\’s crazy,\” Evans explained. \”Like I\’m okay. You know, Austin be like, I don\’t know about that, bro. Jackson would do whatever, bro.\”
The two have competed together and against each other countless times since their teenage years.
\”We used to be a tag team when we were younger. So, you know, we had a lot of tag team matches. We\’ve had a lot of singles matches. Way more singles matches, honestly,\”
Evans recalled when asked if their matches together were even countable. \”Probably not. Probably not.\”
With Evans now on WWE\’s main roster and Drake developing in the WWE Evolve system, the WrestleMania dream that once seemed impossible is closer than ever to becoming reality.
CM Punk drew a sharp line between his wrestling philosophy and Roman Reigns\’ approach ahead of their WrestleMania 42 main event showdown, describing the matchup as a clash between cinema and raw pro wrestling.
Speaking on the Ross Tucker Football Podcast, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion broke down exactly how he sees the contrast between himself and The Tribal Chief.
\”Roman likes to do cinema. I like to do pro wrestling. I like to get dirty. I like bloody, gnarly fights. I like punching people in the face,\” Punk said. \”I\’m the guy that sticks the toothpaste back in the tube where everybody thinks they know what\’s going on. Behind the scenes, I\’m the guy that blurs the line.\”
Punk\’s Competitive Edge: Elevating Opponents
Punk went further, claiming that his presence forces opponents to raise their game, on the mic and in the ring. It\’s a view he\’s carried throughout his career, from his greatest WWE matches to his most recent battles.
\”When I am across from a guy like Roman Reigns, I like to think I bring the best out of them,\” Punk continued. \”When I\’m in the ring with people, they know they got to step up. When I have a microphone in my hand, they know they got to come correct and they got to match that energy.\”
Punk confirmed that headlining WrestleMania for a second consecutive year remains a surreal milestone.
\”We did [Las Vegas] last year. Main event last year. Bringing it back, doing it again back to back,\” he said.
Last year at WrestleMania 41, Punk competed in a triple threat against Reigns and Seth Rollins. This time, it will be one-on-one, their first singles match since a January 2014 episode of Raw.
\”Let the crowd boo or cheer or do whatever they want. I just know it\’s going to be loud and it\’s going to be a show,\” Punk said.
WrestleMania 42 takes place April 18-19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, with Punk vs. Reigns confirmed as the Night 2 main event.
Former WWE Women\’s Champion Candice Michelle has confirmed she has an \”opportunity\” with TNA Wrestling and will be appearing at the company\’s upcoming Nashville events this week.
During a virtual signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions, Michelle discussed her current involvement with TNA and what the future may hold for her with the promotion.
Perfect Timing for TNA Role
Michelle explained that she came into TNA not knowing how she would feel about being back in the wrestling environment, but quickly realized how much she missed being around the ring.
\”Perfect timing for me to come back and explore and be a part of the company,\” Michelle said. \”I\’m excited for that opportunity.\”
She described viewing this TNA opportunity as a platform and said she\’s been brainstorming how she can best serve the company.
Michelle noted she\’s open to working behind the scenes, in front of the camera, or \”hopefully a little bit of both,\” leaving her exact role to be determined.
No Surrender & Television Taping Appearances
Michelle confirmed she will be with TNA on February 13 and 14 in Nashville, Tennessee. She stated she will appear at TNA No Surrender on February 13 and the TNA television taping on February 14.
\”Two really great shows that will be filmed there,\” Michelle said of the Nashville events.
When asked how she landed the opportunity with TNA, Michelle smiled and said she would be sharing that story soon, indicating more details about her agreement or role are forthcoming.
Different Approach Than WWE
Reflecting on her WWE career, Michelle said the company originally brought her in to \”pretty-up the business,\” while she personally aimed to become Women\’s Champion. In contrast, she now looks at TNA as a platform where she can contribute more broadly.
\”How can I best serve the company and everyone there?\” Michelle said of her current mindset, emphasizing her desire to help both the promotion and its talent whether working off-camera or on-screen.
She admitted she genuinely misses wrestling, saying that when she came to TNA and stood by the ring, it took \”not even a second\” for her to realize how much she missed it and how deeply wrestling still resonates with her.
Long Layoff From In-Ring Competition
Michelle has not wrestled since 2017, when she competed for the House of Hardcore promotion. That promotion is run by Tommy Dreamer, who is currently part of TNA\’s creative team.
Whether Michelle will actually wrestle for TNA or work in another capacity remains to be seen, but her comments suggest she\’s open to multiple roles within the company as she explores this new opportunity.
Bad Bunny is expected to return to WWE in the near future and is currently slated to have a big match at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, according to F4WOnline’s Bryan Alvarez, with the timing of his world tour schedule aligning perfectly with WWE\’s Road to WrestleMania season.
Plans for Bad Bunny’s WWE Return
On Wrestling Observer Live, Alvarez stated that Bad Bunny is expected back in WWE \”very soon, sooner rather than later,\” and that he is currently slated to have a big match in Las Vegas. The comment came in response to recent public calls from Senator Ruben Gallego for AEW President Tony Khan to sign the global music star, with Alvarez clarifying that fans shouldn\’t expect Bad Bunny to appear in AEW.
The WrestleMania 42 Window
WrestleMania 42 is scheduled for April 18-19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. This marks the second consecutive year WWE will hold its flagship event at the Las Vegas venue.
Bad Bunny\’s current \”Debí Tirar Más Fotos\” world tour has a significant break from March 2 through the end of May, creating a clear window where he would be available for WWE television appearances and a WrestleMania match without tour conflicts.
The timing becomes even more notable as Bad Bunny headlines the Super Bowl LIX halftime show this weekend, placing him at peak mainstream visibility just as WWE enters the final stretch of WrestleMania season.
Bad Bunny\’s WWE Track Record
Bad Bunny has worked several high-profile matches for WWE since his initial run with the company:
He competed in a tag team match at WrestleMania during his first run with the company, made a surprise appearance in the 2022 Royal Rumble, and defeated Damian Priest in a street fight at WWE Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico.
His in-ring performances have been well-received by fans and critics, with WWE consistently presenting him as a legitimate wrestling attraction rather than a celebrity novelty act.
Stay tuned to SEScoops for updates on Bad Bunny’s WWE return.
Saraya recently opened up about missing the 2026 Royal Rumble and her renewed passion for wrestling during an interview with Wrestling With Freddie.
The former WWE and AEW star addressed viral training videos that sparked speculation about a surprise Rumble appearance. With 18 million views across platforms, the overwhelming fan support moved her to tears.
\”I cried one day because of it cuz I\’m just like, I can\’t believe people still love me,\” Saraya said. \”I thought I had lost all that support because of like all my controversy.\”
Missing Her Rumble Dream
During the conversation, Freddie Prinze Jr. revealed his vision of Saraya returning to WWE as a surprise Rumble entrant. The moment carried extra weight — WWE held the first-ever women\’s Royal Rumble shortly before she announced her career-ending injury in 2018.
Backstage footage from that historic event shows Saraya crying in Gorilla position, devastated to miss the match she\’d dreamed of competing in.
\”I was backstage in Gorilla, and you know, I\’m really emotional, and they have images of me backstage just crying, just being like, \’This is what I\’ve always dreamed of,\’\” she recalled.
\”So that video was viral as well, and everyone\’s just like hoping that I was gonna be in this Rumble that I finally get to be a part of that I\’ve always dreamed of being a part of.\”
Regarding her absence from this year\’s match, Saraya made it clear the decision wasn\’t hers to make.
\”I wish I was part of it, but there\’s more to it. I mean, WWE has to make that decision, you know, not me.\”
Falling Out of Love With Wrestling in AEW
Saraya candidly discussed losing her passion during her AEW tenure, despite enjoying aspects of her time with the company.
\”I loved being in AEW. I had so much fun, but you know, the character I was doing, I wasn\’t too happy with, and I wish I could have done certain matches and certain things, and it didn\’t come to be,\” she explained. \”I just kind of fell out of love with it.\”
That realization sparked her commitment to serious training starting in January 2025. \”I need to be the Paige that I was in NXT, but better, you know? I can do it at 33 still. You know, I still got it.\”
Saraya last wrestled on a Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite in October 2024, losing a No. 1 Contendership Fatal 4-Way bout. She parted ways with AEW in March 2025.
Training For Potential WWE Return
The former NXT Women\’s Champion emphasized she\’s approaching her training with complete seriousness, not just for social media attention.
\”I started training in January, and I had told people I was going to start doing that months ago, and everyone thought I was just posting it for the Rumble. I was like, \’No, I\’ve been telling you guys, training in January. I\’m doing this,\’\” Saraya said.
She made a bold promise about the quality fans could expect if she returns to wrestling. \”If I was to come back, I\’ll be better than you\’ve ever seen me. I can promise you that.\”
Whether Saraya will get her long-awaited opportunity to compete in a women\’s Royal Rumble match remains to be seen, but she appears open to the idea if WWE reaches out.
MJF took shots at WWE\’s product while praising AEW\’s approach during an appearance on the Ross Tucker Podcast at Radio Row ahead of Super Bowl LX, which takes place this Sunday, February 8 at Levi\’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
MJF was one of several pro wrestling names spotted at Super Bowl media row this week, joining CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Big E, Tony Khan, Toni Storm, and Orange Cassidy. The reigning AEW World Champion drew a pointed food analogy to differentiate between the two promotions.
\”The other companies it kind of feels like McDonald\’s. They\’re giving you fast food. We make gourmet burgers. And I think that was a part of Tony Khan\’s pitch for sure.\”
MJF Praises Tony Khan as a \’Visionary\’
Friedman credited AEW president Tony Khan for identifying the opportunity in the wrestling marketplace and building a legitimate competitor to WWE over the past seven years.
\”Tony Khan is a visionary. He\’s a mark but he\’s a visionary and he loved professional wrestling and he saw that there was an opening in the marketplace for an alternative to WWE where there is Coke you can have Pepsi, where there\’s McDonald\’s you can have Burger King.
Here we are seven years later and we\’re killing it. We\’ve had events with 82,000 people in a stadium at Wembley that I main evented. We have pay-per-views almost monthly. We are always normally in the top five on cable and streaming for our shows for Dynamite and Collision.\”
AEW World Championship as the Most Important Title in Wrestling
MJF made no secret of his belief that the AEW World Championship is the most important prize in the industry right now, and that the competition for it is driving business.
\”The reason we\’re having so much success right now is because everyone\’s vying for the most important title. Me saying that is a shoot, as we say in professional wrestling. If you are a professional wrestler and you\’re in this sport and you want to be considered the best of the best, this is the championship to go for.
We have the top names in the industry are all vying to get this title. It\’s an exciting time. Everyone\’s coming after the champ. It\’s must-see television right now because of that fact.\”
MJF will put that championship on the line next against Brody King at AEW Grand Slam Australia on February 14, with Hangman Adam Page and Andrade El Idolo also fighting for the next title opportunity at AEW Revolution.
Seth Rollins opened up about one of the most nerve-wracking experiences of his career — and it had nothing to do with wrestling. Speaking with 25 Whistles with Bobby Bones at Super Bowl 60 Radio Row in San Francisco, Rollins detailed his role commentating Netflix\’s live skyscraper climb special.
Rollins didn\’t sugarcoat the stakes of calling the event in real-time.
\”The dude, if he slips, he\’s dead. It\’s over. He\’s done. And that\’s a man dying on live television.\”
Why WWE Tapped Rollins for the Job
The decision to place a WWE Superstar behind the commentary desk for an extreme sports broadcast wasn\’t random. Rollins explained that his years of live, unscripted television gave him the exact skill set the production needed.
\”My forte is live conversation, live promos, live storytelling, and anything can happen on a WWE broadcast.\”
Rollins said meeting Alex Donald and his family before the event gave him a deep appreciation for what was at stake, describing the experience as \”being in that space with greatness.\”
No Rehearsal, No Playbook
Unlike a WWE broadcast where talent can prepare for at least some planned spots, this event offered zero predictability. Rain prevented full practice runs, and Donald only climbed sections of the building while strapped into safety equipment during preparation. There was no way to simulate the actual climb.
\”You just don\’t know how long it\’s going to take. You don\’t know where he\’s going to be when.\”
The Emergency Plan If Tragedy Struck
Perhaps the most chilling detail Rollins revealed was the contingency plan. The broadcast operated on a 15-second delay — the only safety net between the audience and potential disaster. There was no emergency parachute or rescue equipment. Host L. Duncan had a prepared statement ready to read if the worst happened.
\”If something went wrong, they would be able to cut the feed, or they were just going to go off air and we wouldn\’t talk about it.\”
Despite the lack of a backup plan, Rollins said the team had high confidence in Donald\’s ability to complete the climb successfully.
A Once-in-a-Lifetime Broadcast
Rollins — who has remained in the headlines amid speculation about his WWE return — said the skyscraper climb reminded him why he loves live television.
\”When you put somebody\’s life at stake in that scenario, it adds a different element to it.\”
You\’ll see WWE Superstar Seth Rollins on the new second season of \”WWE: Unreal\” Netflix, but he refuses to watch the Netflix documentary series that pulls back the curtain on WWE\’s creative process.
During an interview with 25 Whistles with Bobby Bones at Super Bowl Radio Row in San Francisco this show. Despite being a central figure of Season 2 — which chronicles his elaborate fake injury and shocking Money in the Bank cash-in at SummerSlam — Rollins said the show makes him deeply uncomfortable.
\”I can\’t watch the show. I didn\’t watch season one, and I wasn\’t even in it. I can\’t watch it. It makes me feel dirty,\” Rollins said.
Behind-The-Scenes Exposure Doesn\’t Sit Well With Rollins
Rollins elaborated on what specifically bothers him about the series, explaining that the use of real names isn\’t the issue so much as revealing the inner workings of the business.
\”The real name stuff\’s not as bad because of the internet. But sharing the behind-the-scenes of how the stories happen and the ins and outs of the industry, that part feels like I\’m just not totally comfortable with that. I\’m not entirely on board with all of it,\” he said.
He also described feeling uneasy during the sit-down interviews required for the show.
\”Even having those interviews, I don\’t feel myself. I feel myself clamming up. The sit-downs are like, \’Tell me about this story.\’ And I\’m like, how much do I want them to know?\”
Not For Him, But Rollins Understands The Appeal
Despite his own discomfort, Rollins acknowledged that WWE: Unreal delivers exactly what fans want.
\”As a fan, if I were just a fan, I would love it. That would be what I dreamed of when I was a kid — tell me the juice, give me how does all this happen, this is amazing. That\’s what people want.\”
However, he noted that the resistance to the show is generational.
\”Anybody that\’s been wrestling for longer than five to ten years, it\’s just so hard to break that wall down.\”
Rollins has previously spoken about having a difficult relationship with Unreal, calling the filming process \”more of a hassle\” due to extra crews following him around at all times. His wife, Becky Lynch, has expressed similar sentiments, though she too admitted that as a fan, Unreal would be her favorite show.
WWE: Unreal Season 2, featuring Rollins, is streaming now on Netflix. New episodes are slated to debut on the streamer later this summer.

AEW Collision Match Card for February 7, 2026
Here are the matches and segments announced for tonight’s AEW Collision.
Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Roderick Strong – TNT Championship
Eddie Kingston, Ortiz & The Rascalz vs. Grizzled Young Veterans, Big Bill & Bryan Keith – 8-Man Parking Lot Fight
Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. GOA (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) – Tag Team Contenders Qualifier
Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta vs. Zayda Steel & Dante Martin – Mixed Tag Team Match
Kevin Knight vs. Scorpio Sky – Singles Match
Mina Shirakawa vs. Viva Van – Singles Match
Thekla vs. TBA – Thekla in Action
TNT Champion “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa vs. CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli vs. Roderick Strong
Tommaso Ciampa wastes no time proving himself as TNT Champion, defending the title just one week after taking it from Mark Briscoe and immediately living up to his “open challenge” promise. He steps into a high-caliber three-way against CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli and former AEW International Champion Roderick Strong, two men with deep histories against each other but limited experience facing Ciampa, making this a fresh and physical title bout.
Ciampa and Strong’s roots go back over a decade to their ROH clashes, while Castagnoli and Strong have battled across multiple promotions, including Claudio’s recent successful CMLL Title defense on Collision. With contrasting styles and overlapping rivalries, the TNT Championship feels like the perfect stage for a stiff, strike-heavy, and counter-driven main event in Las Vegas.
8-Man Parking Lot Fight: Eddie Kingston, Ortiz & The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake), Big Bill & Bryan Keith
The simmering issues between Eddie Kingston, Ortiz, and the Grizzled Young Veterans explode into AEW’s first-ever 8-Man Parking Lot Fight tonight. After agreeing to a tense “no violence” meeting last week, Kingston and Ortiz were blindsided when Big Bill and Bryan Keith attacked them on GYV’s dime, forcing Kingston to enlist Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz to even the odds.
Kingston has recent history with both Bill and Keith dating back to his All Out victory, and Ortiz’s return was sparked by the need to back up his longtime friend against GYV’s numbers game. With eight men brawling in a Las Vegas parking lot and The Rascalz wanting to make a statement in just their second week on Collision, this has all the makings of a wild, weapons-filled fight rather than a traditional tag match.
Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. GOA (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) (Winners Advance to AEW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match on Dynamite)
The Young Bucks are trying to reboot the Superkick Party in 2026, but their focus was pulled last week when they stepped in to stop GOA from interfering in “Jungle” Jack Perry’s AEW National Championship match with Ricochet. Although their intervention couldn’t change the result for Perry, it set the stage for tonight’s collision with Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona.
The stakes are high: the winners will move on to next week’s Dynamite for a 3-Way #1 Contenders Match against Dezmond Xavier & Myron Reed of The Rascalz and a mystery wild-card team, with a future AEW World Tag Team Title shot on the line. For the Bucks, it’s the next step toward a potential fourth reign as champions, while GOA can further cement The Demand’s growing dominance by muscling their way into contention.
Exclusive Post-Match Comments From AEW World Champion MJF
AEW World Champion MJF has a lot to answer for after being demolished by Brody King in under two minutes in this week’s AEW World Championship Eliminator Match on Dynamite.
King’s emphatic win secured him an AEW World Title shot next Saturday at AEW Grand Slam Australia, and tonight’s exclusive comments will be MJF’s first chance to address that setback.
On top of that, “Hangman” Adam Page was watching closely, with his own Grand Slam match against Andrade El Ídolo determining who will challenge for the AEW World Championship at AEW Revolution on March 15.
Expect MJF to juggle the immediate threat of Brody King with the looming specter of Page and Andrade, as the world title picture starts to crystallize heading into AEW’s busy spring schedule.
We’ll Hear From AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander
AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander appears on Collision tonight after striking a risky bargain with Triangle of Madness. Statlander agreed to give Thekla a rematch for the AEW Women’s World Championship on Dynamite in four days in exchange for keeping Triangle of Madness out of this week’s Women’s Tag Team Eliminator Match.
She made Thekla wait to learn the stipulation for their title bout, and tonight she finally reveals what kind of match she’s chosen. With Thekla already set to compete on Collision before that rematch, Statlander’s announcement could tilt the balance in her favor or play directly into the challenger’s “Toxic Spider” persona.
“The Toxic Sider” Thekla in action
Before challenging for the AEW Women’s World Championship on Dynamite, Thekla steps into the ring on Collision to build momentum and send a message to Kris Statlander. Knowing she’ll find out the stipulation for her rematch later in the night, Thekla’s focus will be on setting a vicious tone and showcasing the aggressive, unpredictable style that’s brought her to the brink of championship gold.
With Triangle of Madness hovering over the division and Statlander promising a stipulation that favors her own strengths, this tune-up match is Thekla’s chance to spin a “toxic web” heading into the biggest opportunity of her AEW career.
Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta (Death Riders) vs. SkyFlight’s Zayda Steel & Dante Martin
Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta walk into Collision with their hair literally on the line next weekend at Grand Slam Australia, where they’ll face “Timeless” Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy in a mixed tag match with a hair-shaving stipulation for the loser of the fall. Tonight’s mixed tag against SkyFlight’s Zayda Steel and Dante Martin is all about momentum and chemistry as the Death Riders pair try to sharpen their edge before that high-risk showdown.
For Dante and Zayda, a win over Shafir and Yuta would be a massive elevation for SkyFlight and could rattle the Death Riders just seven days before one of them risks losing their hair on a global stage.
AEW World Trios Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight vs. Scorpio Sky (SkyFlight)
Kevin Knight continues his breakout 2026 campaign with a singles showcase against two-time TNT Champion Scorpio Sky. Already holding the AEW World Trios Championship alongside “Speedball” Mike Bailey and “Hangman” Adam Page as JetSet Rodeo, Knight now looks to prove he can soar just as high on his own.
Sky, representing SkyFlight, brings veteran savvy and championship experience, making this a key measuring stick for Knight’s singles upside.
A win for Knight would strengthen his claim as one of AEW’s most explosive rising stars, while Sky aims to reinsert himself into the singles title conversation.
Mina Shirakawa vs. Viva Van
With “Timeless” Toni Storm occupied in the escalating war with the Death Riders, Mina Shirakawa keeps Timeless Love Bombs in the spotlight by stepping into singles action against Viva Van. Shirakawa’s charisma and striking-heavy offense have quickly made her a fan favorite, and tonight offers another chance to showcase that against a hungry opponent eager to capitalize on the opportunity.
For Viva Van, a strong performance or upset win over Mina would instantly raise her stock in the AEW women’s division. Expect a hard-fought clash as both women look to climb the ladder in an increasingly competitive landscape.

John Cena made a surprise \’invisible\’ appearance at Pro-Wrestling: EVE\’s costume battle royal on February 6, 2026.
Cena\’s iconic theme music hit during the match, with the wrestlers anticipating who would come to the ring.
When the curtains opened, no one was there. Undeterred, the competitors sold the bit perfectly, performing moves and interactions as if the 17-time world champion was right there in the ring with them.
Pro-Wrestling: EVE captured the hilarity on Twitter, posting \”JOHN CENA IS AT EVE!!!!!!!\” to announce the tongue-in-cheek surprise.
Wrestlers improvised seamlessly, throwing punches and suplexes at thin air while the crowd ate it up. John Cena may be retired from pro wrestling, but Invisible Cena is here to stay.
WWE is reportedly signing European wrestling standout Rayne Leverkusen, with an imminent announcement expected.
According to Fightful Select, Leverkusen has completed her negotiations with the promotion, marking a significant milestone in her rapidly ascending career. A British wrestling source predicted she will \”get to the very top,\” describing her as \”genuinely one of the very best\” performers.
Leverkusen, known as \”The Maiden Of Metal,\” has built an impressive resume in just a few years. She participated in two WWE tryouts last year, including during SummerSlam week, where she was notably named the MVP of the sessions.
Her recent accomplishments include dropping the Hustle Wrestling Championship on February 5 and previously holding the PROGRESS Women\’s Championship, strategic moves that often signal an impending WWE contract.
U.S. Senator Ruben Gallego has publicly urged AEW President Tony Khan to bring Bad Bunny into All Elite Wrestling, tagging both Khan and Bad Bunny in a social media post.
.@TonyKhan it’s time for @AEW to solidify a huge fan base. @sanbenito love wrestling, need him to make some appearances. Just no stretcher match please.
Gallego wrote, “@TonyKhan it’s time for @AEW to solidify a huge fan base. @sanbenito love wrestling, need him to make some appearances. Just no stretcher match please,” referencing Bad Bunny’s physical in-ring style.
AEW has increasingly become a home for politically engaged fans who are outspoken on issues like LGBTQ+ rights and, more recently, immigration, creating a fan culture that often overlaps with broader social movements.
In that context, the idea of Bad Bunny—a mainstream star who has worked with the more MAGA-friendly WWE, recently condemned ICE at the Grammys, and is performing the Super Bowl halftime show in a heated political climate—showing up in AEW adds an extra layer of cultural and political intrigue to Gallego’s pitch.
Bad Bunny previously delivered a widely praised San Juan Street Fight performance against Damian Priest at WWE Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico, earning strong reviews as one of WWE’s top celebrity performers.
The senator’s endorsement comes as Bad Bunny prepares to headline the Super Bowl halftime show, adding extra mainstream attention to the idea of a potential AEW crossover, but there are no public indications of formal negotiations or a WWE/AEW status change for him.
Ric Flair has shut down speculation about a potential return to the ring, emphatically declaring on social media that he will never wrestle again.
The 76-year-old WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter on February 6 to clarify comments he made during a virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest one day earlier, where he discussed the possibility of facing fellow legend Ricky Morton.
\”First, Let Me Clear Something Up! I Will Never Wrestle Again,\” Flair wrote, before promoting an upcoming appearance in Charleston, South Carolina. \”I\’m Heading To Flair Country. Charleston, South Carolina Get Ready! The Nature Boy And @FitermanSports Are Taking Over @SpookyEmpire This Weekend!\”
First, Let Me Clear Something Up! I Will Never Wrestle Again. I’m Heading To Flair Country. Charleston, South Carolina Get Ready! The Nature Boy And @FitermanSports Are Taking Over @SpookyEmpire This Weekend! If You Want To Be The Best, You Gotta Be With The Best! Come See Me… pic.twitter.com/pkzh8aXgyu
During Thursday\’s virtual signing, Flair had revealed that someone wanted him to wrestle Morton and admitted he was \”thinking about it,\” though he noted they were \”way off on financial terms.\”
The Nature Boy explained that having a potential match would give him motivation for his gym workouts, saying, \”Sometimes I need something to motivate me, man. Just to go to the gym every day for nothing is…\”
The comments quickly went viral, prompting concern from fans and even Flair\’s daughter Charlotte, who quote-tweeted the news with a firm \”Absolutely not.\”
The Retired Nature Boy
Flair last competed in July 2022 at an event billed as \”Ric Flair\’s Last Match\” in Nashville, Tennessee, where he teamed with Andrade El Idolo to defeat Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal. The match drew controversy after Flair revealed he passed out multiple times during the bout due to dehydration.
The 16-time world champion has retired from wrestling multiple times throughout his career, most famously at WrestleMania 24 in 2008 following his emotional match against Shawn Michaels. However, financial needs led him back to the ring for runs in TNA and eventually the 2022 comeback.
In 2025, Flair battled several health issues including skin cancer and a rotator cuff injury, though he announced last July that he is now cancer-free.
With Thursday\’s clarification, Flair appears to have firmly closed the door on any future in-ring appearances, choosing instead to focus on personal appearances and autograph signings.

Men\’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
Randy Orton vs. Solo Sikoa vs. Aleister Black
SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has announced a blockbuster triple threat match to determine one spot in the Men\’s Elimination Chamber Match. The Viper Randy Orton returns to action looking to punch his ticket to Chicago on February 28, where the winner will challenge Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.
Solo Sikoa represents The Bloodline\’s interests in the high-stakes qualifier, while former NXT Champion Aleister Black looks to continue his momentum after his acclaimed feud with Damian Priest.
Women\’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
Lash Legend vs. Chelsea Green vs. Tiffany Stratton
The women\’s division heats up with a triple threat qualifier for the Women\’s Elimination Chamber Match. Tiffany Stratton makes her first competitive appearance since returning at Royal Rumble, looking to earn a shot at reclaiming championship gold. Chelsea Green brings her veteran savvy to the match, while Lash Legend seeks her breakthrough opportunity on the Road to WrestleMania.
WWE Women\’s Tag Team Championship
Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY (c) vs. Giulia & Kiana James
The Women\’s Tag Team Champions defend their titles against the makeshift team of Giulia and Kiana James. Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY have formed a dominant partnership since capturing the gold, but the combination of Giulia\’s striking prowess and Kiana James\’ technical ability presents a unique challenge for the champions.
Singles Match
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Tama Tonga
Two former NJPW rivals collide for the first time in WWE as Shinsuke Nakamura takes on Tama Tonga in singles action. The match was set up on last week\’s show when Nakamura confronted Tonga backstage, dismissing the MFTs member as \”still a young punk\” despite his recent confidence. The two previously faced each other in Japan as members of rival factions CHAOS and Bullet Club.
United States Championship Open Challenge
Carmelo Hayes (c) vs. TBA
United States Champion Carmelo Hayes continues his fighting champion tradition with another open challenge. Hayes has been on a roll since capturing the title from Ilja Dragunov in late December, successfully defending against all comers on SmackDown.
2026 Women\’s Royal Rumble Winner Liv Morgan Appears
Liv Morgan appears on SmackDown
Liv Morgan will make her SmackDown appearance following her Royal Rumble victory. After confronting Women\’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer on Raw, Morgan remains uncommitted on her WrestleMania 42 opponent. With WWE Women\’s Champion Jade Cargill also on the show tonight, Morgan could pivot toward the blue brand\’s title instead.
Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre Appears
McIntyre addresses WrestleMania path
Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is scheduled to appear following his title retention at Royal Rumble, where he also eliminated Cody Rhodes from the Rumble match.
With Roman Reigns choosing to face CM Punk at WrestleMania, McIntyre now awaits the winner of tonight\’s Men\’s Elimination Chamber qualifying matches and the eventual Chamber Match winner on February 28 in Chicago.
Road to WrestleMania 42
WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 takes place Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Tonight\’s qualifying matches determine two of the six participants for the Men\’s and Women\’s Elimination Chamber Matches. The winners of those Chamber matches will earn championship opportunities at WrestleMania 42, which takes place Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Kelly Kincaid announced Thursday that her WWE contract will expire on February 14, 2026. The NXT backstage interviewer and ring announcer made the announcement on social media, marking the end of a four-year run with the company.
As of February 14th, I will no longer be under contract with WWE
Kincaid joined WWE in February 2022 and debuted as the ring announcer for NXT Level Up. She previously competed and worked as an interviewer in Ring of Honor under the name Quinn McKay, where she won the ECWA Women\’s Championship before retiring from in-ring competition.
Four Years in NXT
During her WWE tenure, Kincaid transitioned from ring announcing to become one of NXT\’s primary backstage interviewers.
She returned to television in March 2025 following maternity leave after welcoming her first child with Elton Prince of Pretty Deadly in September 2024.
What\’s Next for Kincaid?
Kincaid\’s future remains unclear as of this writing, but we will monitor her social media for announcements. Her background as Quinn McKay in Ring of Honor and on the independent circuit suggests a potential return to those roots, particularly as ROH continues operating under AEW\’s umbrella.
Kincaid\’s departure adds to the ongoing roster changes throughout WWE\’s developmental system. Whether she pursues opportunities outside WWE or negotiates a new deal remains to be seen as her expiration date approaches on February 14.
Mercedes Moné is heading back to Bar Rescue. Paramount Network announced on Wednesday that the AEW star will appear as a special celebrity guest on the milestone tenth season of the reality series, which premieres Sunday, February 22 at 10 PM ET/PT with two back-to-back episodes.
An official press release from Paramount identifies Moné by her real name, Mercedes Varnado, describing her as a \”pro wrestler and actress.\” She will join host Jon Taffer in the field alongside fellow celebrity guest Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC as the veteran bar expert travels to cities across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky to rescue struggling establishments.
Moné\’s Second Appearance on the Series
This marks Moné\’s second stint on the long-running unscripted franchise. She and Trinity Fatu (formerly Naomi) previously appeared on Season 8 of Bar Rescue when the series returned with new episodes on February 26, 2023. That appearance came during a period when both women were away from WWE following their joint walkout in May 2022.
AEW stars Adam Cole and Britt Baker also previously appeared on the show, making pro wrestling a recurring presence in the Bar Rescue universe.
Staying Busy During AEW Hiatus
The Bar Rescue announcement comes as Moné remains on an indefinite hiatus from AEW programming. She announced her break during a pre-taped segment on the January 10 episode of AEW Collision, expressing frustration after losing the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at Dynamite: New Year\’s Smash. That loss ended her record-setting 584-day reign with the title.
Despite stepping away from AEW television, Moné has shown no signs of slowing down. She was recently announced for Banger Zone Wrestling\’s Apogée event on March 14 in Dreux, France, and Winnipeg Pro Wrestling is teasing her for their March 31 show (update: she’s confirmed).
Jeff Hardy has provided a new update on the neck injury that has been plaguing him since October, revealing that he has begun a new treatment as he pushes toward a full recovery.
Hardy recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about his condition. The Charismatic Enigma has been dealing with bulging discs in his neck since The Hardys dropped the NXT Tag Team Championship to DarkState\’s Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin in a Broken Rules match at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc in October.
\”I\’m super excited for my neck to fully heal. I\’ve been dealing with bulging discs ever since Halloween Havoc, when we dropped the [NXT Tag Team] titles.
It was that finish, it\’s one of those things where it looked like I landed flat. My head was turned to the right, and it was like a whiplash. It felt terrible, the way my head hit the mat.\”

Jeff Hardy Has Started Taking Peptides
Hardy went on to reveal that he has started a new recovery protocol, telling Prichard that he recently began taking peptides in an effort to accelerate the healing process.
\”So yeah, I\’m super excited to get this thing fully healed, man. I started taking some peptides yesterday, so hopefully, that\’s going to help out a lot,\” Hardy said.
The peptides revelation is the latest chapter in Jeff\’s recovery journey. His brother Matt Hardy previously shared on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast that the team has been consulting with medical professionals and that Jeff prefers to heal as naturally as possible rather than undergo surgery.
Despite the injury, Hardy has continued to compete for TNA. He picked up a win over Mustafa Ali on the January 22 episode of Thursday Night iMPACT, though Fightful Select reported that there were backstage discussions about pulling Jeff from that match before he insisted on competing.
The Hardys Set for Eight-Man Tag at TNA No Surrender
During the same interview, Matt and Jeff Hardy confirmed they will be in action at TNA No Surrender on Friday, February 13. The Hardys will team with The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) to take on Order 4 in an eight-man tag team match.
Matt noted that The Righteous have been lobbying to team with The Hardys, and TNA Director of Operations Daria Rae officially made the match during this week\’s episode of Thursday Night iMPACT.
No Surrender 2026
TNA No Surrender takes place at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee, and streams exclusively on TNA+. The current announced card also includes:
Mike Santana and Leon Slater vs. Nic Nemeth and Eddie Edwards in the main event
Stacks Lorenzo (c) vs. Trey Miguel for the TNA International Championship
Léi Y?ng Lee (c) vs. Arianna Grace for the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
TNA will also hold iMPACT television tapings in Nashville on February 14.

Bryce Remsburg, an AEW referee, is harnessing the mainstream attention stemming from the anti-ICE chant on this week\’s Dynamite to raise money for immigration-related human rights.
Remsburg was the \”third man\” in the ring this past Wednesday when AEW fans hijacked the show at the start of the MJF vs. Brodie King main event with a raucous chant denouncing ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
\”Will donate ALL proceeds from Cameos until 2/13 to Lancaster Neighbor Fund, who supports immigrant rights in my city of welcome. Kindness onward,\” Remsburg stated.
Lot of attention and new followers today, and want to keep the kind vibes going and pay it forward.
Killer Kross is the new MLW World Heavyweight Championship after winning this year\’s 40-man Battle Riot. He dramatically eliminated Matt Riddle and Hammerstone to become the promotion\’s new titleholder.
Entering the Battle Riot at the #1 position, Kross showed endurance and grit by outlasting the 39 other competitors. The field of entrants also provided a glimpse at some of the challengers that await him in the weeks and months ahead.
This MLW World Heavyweight Championship win continues Kross\’s momentum since leaving WWE last year.
Big E has officially addressed his wrestling status, revealing he considers himself currently retired from in-ring competition.
Following a serious neck injury in March 2022 that prevented his return to wrestling, Big E is focusing on broadcasting roles.
Speaking with Compas on the Beat at Super Bowl Radio Row on Thursday, the former WWE Champion addressed his wrestling status, and left the door open just a bit. A tiny crack, but it\’s not completely closed.
\”I\’m content. You know, in wrestling they always say \’never say never. But right now I\’m retired, and that, for me, is it. So I\’m focused on other things right now.\”
Big E on wrestling retirement
While officially retired as of this very moment, hope remains, and Big E remains – as a prominent figure in WWE\’s ecosystem, leveraging his charisma and knowledge in broadcasting.
Big E currently works as a panelist on WWE Premium Live Event pre-shows and post-shows, while also preparing to host a YouTube series focused on the NFL Draft.
Despite the tragic injury that put his in-ring career on hold indefinitely, he\’s a public account of working through this adversity has been nothing short of inspiring.
Daphanie LaShaunn, a WWE SmackDown referee, is experiencing an unimaginable tragedy after losing four of her family members in a devastating house fire. She shared the heartbreaking news on her Instagram, revealing the profound grief overwhelming her family.
In an emotional statement, LaShaunn detailed the catastrophic event that claimed the lives of her grandmother, grandfather, uncle, and cousin. The loss has left her family not only mourning but also displaced, with her cousin\’s five children now without a home.
