  • Chad Gable Opens Up On Seeking Advice from Randy Orton During Difficult Times in WWE

The Alpha Academy member Chad Gable recently spoke about receiving valuable advice from WWE veteran star Randy Orton during the former\’s low points in the company.

Randy Orton has cemented his status as a seasoned veteran in WWE. Orton\’s decorated career has spanned over two decades and has continued to perform at the highest level. Throughout his tenure, he\’s performed in various eras, evolving his character and in-ring style over the years. Orton\’s longevity speaks volumes about his legacy and \’The Viper\’ has consistently delivered compelling performances and engaging storylines. His several championship reigns and iconic rivalries further solidify his status as a cornerstone of WWE.

The Alpha Academy was involved in a storyline with RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Matt Riddle) back in 2022. Back in the day, Riddle & Randy were WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, while Gable & Otis were aiming to claim the titles.

Speaking with TV Insider, Chad Gable was asked if he would look for advice, which star he would approach. He revealed that it would be none other than Randy Orton. The Alpha Academy member highlighted that given Orton\’s experience, he is the right man to get feedback from. He said:

\”I would say, Randy Orton. I don’t try to bother people too much with questions, especially when you know the answer to questions you may ask. But there are a few things I’ve struggled with during my time here and Randy has been a guy I ask to get actual thoughts and feedback from. He has been through it all and knows pretty much anything. I’ve always reached out to him. He gives me the answers that resonate and are truthful.\”

With WrestleMania 40 approaching soon, Chad Gable is eyeing to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Last year, Gable had brutal bouts with Gunther, who went on to become a record-breaking champion. However, his pursuit of the title didn\’t bring any success.

Orton Responds to the RKO Attacker

A few years back, Orton hitting the RKO became a popular meme on the internet and the fans started dropping hilarious edited clips of him hitting his finisher.

Now, a video has surfaced on Twitter/X which caught the attention of Randy Orton himself and it features a fan hitting RKO on random strangers. In one of the ridiculous developments, the man even executed the move on disabled people.

\’The Viper\’ was furious when he took note of the clip and stated that the man needs to be hit with Orton\’s popular Punt Kick to the head and should be put in prison for assault.

\”Bring the punt kick back and give him a good ol case of CTE ya later plus 5 years in prison for assault.\”

    Randy Orton\’s Punt Kick

The Punt Kick reference is related to the devastating finishing move the Viper used during the late 2000\’s when he was a ruthless heel establishing himself as the legend we know him as today.

Orton He targeted the head of a grounded opponent and delivered a devastating kick similar to a punt in American football. However, the move was banned due to its high risk of giving the superstars a concussion.

  • The Undertaker Reveals What Could Have Extended His WWE Career

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker seemingly wanted to carry on with his in-ring career for a few more years. But he couldn\’t. Well, what if he got a tour bus sooner?

The Undertaker is an iconic figure in WWE and has carved an unparalleled legacy spanning over three decades. Making his debut in 1990, his ominous presence and legendary streak at WrestleMania captivated the fans worldwide.

Throughout his illustrious career, he held multiple world championships and was embroiled in memorable rivalries. His retirement in 2020 marked the end of an era and received a farewell with a cinematic match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36. \’The Phenom\’ has certainly left an indelible impact in the pro wrestling world.

Over the last few decades, pro wrestling world has seen major shifts in the culture and The Undertaker has seen it all. He has now spoken candidly about the introduction of tour buses for the WWE Superstars.

The Undertaker feels the tour buses could have helped in extending his WWE run

Speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker talked about how much the service of tour buses has increased longevity for WWE Superstars.

\”There\’s a lot of talent buses, you got crew buses. Hell, there\’s 30 semis full of their sets,\” said Undertaker.

Reflecting about his own time on a tour bus, Taker said that most of that was for after his matches to take better care of himself. \’The Phenom\’ stated that he believes he would have had higher quality matches and lasted longer as a full-time performer if he had taken more care of himself.

\”I would have had higher quality matches, I would have I think I mean, even I lasted for as long as I did. I think I might have even lasted longer if I had been able to take that kind of care of myself. The struggle for me those last seven-eight years, it was just health. There was nothing really that happened or could happen that I didn\’t feel I had a grasp on how to handle it or how to make it work. That part was second nature at that point, but physically trying to perform and keep myself at a level where I could perform.\”

Undertaker went on to poke fun that if he had a few more nights of sleep in the 90s, he might have been performing, perhaps at a high level. He said:

\”If I got on the bus sooner, and maybe slept a few more nights in the 90s? Hell, I might be still wrestling right now. Yeah, at a high level,\” he joked. \”It would have helped, but the 90s, I started in a hole.\”

The Undertaker currently performs 1 deadMAN show where he is seen in an intimate setting and shares never-before-heard stories followed by taking questions from the WWE Universe in attendance.

  • Rhea Ripley: I\’m glad I can be the Chyna of this generation

WWE Women\’s World Champion Rhea Ripley is glad that she is part of the WWE Women\’s division that WWE legend Chyna helped in building.

Late WWE Hall of Famer Chyna was one of the most dominant female superstars of WWE. She had carved the pathway for female wrestlers to compete against men, and surely, Rhea Ripley is carrying on that legacy. \’The Eradicator\’ has been on an unstoppable run as the Women\’s World Champion and looks far from stopping anytime soon. It seems that her next aim would be to step into the men\’s division. She has been vocal about having more intergender matches in WWE. She has even named her male dream opponents.

In the late 90s, Chyna was part of the iconic faction Degeneration X, alongside Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Similarities can be drawn as Ripley is currently part of The Judgment Day.

Chyna was the first woman to ever participate in the Men\’s Royal Rumble and also competed in the men\’s King of the Ring tournament. Interestingly, she is the only woman to hold the WWE Intercontinental Championship, a title currently held by Gunther. Will Rhea Ripley achieve a similar feat in the future?

Rhea Ripley comments on leading the women\’s division

\”To win a men\’s title would be absolutely incredible,\” Ripley said via ESPN. \”Because of my position in The Judgment Day, I get to mingle with the guys a lot more. Obviously, there are so many females in our division that are capable of doing what I\’m doing. They just don\’t have the opportunities to do it where I get to be the only female in a group of men, which is so wild.

\”And to be the muscle for that group as well, it\’s absolutely insane. It\’s cool to be a part of what Chyna was doing for the women\’s division as well. So, I\’m glad I can be the Chyna of this generation while still being Rhea Ripley.\”

Rhea Ripley is set to defend her title against Nia Jax in the headlining clash at WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth on February 24.

I had my dad buy me a weight set to be at home and I just started on my weights at home every day without fail,” Cena recalled. “Because I was getting beat up, I didn’t exactly have a huge social circle, so I had a lot of time to myself.”

He added that the coaches took notice and even wanted him to join the football team. Cena added:

\”If I\’m going right now, I\’m going Sean Strickland,\” Austin said. \”I like Sean Strickland. Boy, he stays economic in the Octagon right now, but what a promo. And so, then I go with Colby Covington. All the trash talk, all the athletic ability. Guy never runs out of gas, he\’s always in shape, talks a mean streak and can back it up. He\’s very exciting, he has that X-factor that you always look for. He\’s double tough.\”

Strickland has built a reputation for speaking his mind without any reluctance which has garnered a lot of attention lately. It is something that could come in handy for him in WWE. Meanwhile, Covington\’s trash talk could be put to the test against some of the biggest mic workers if he decides to ever step foot in WWE.

While they are being highlighted to crossover to WWE, former WWE tag-team Champion Montez Ford expressed his desire to compete in UFC.

He first underwent a skin procedure in 2016 and after a couple of years he revealed that the cancer had been completely removed from his shoulder.

In an unfortunate turn of events, the WWE Hall of Famer was diagnosed with skin cancer again in October 2021. On December 29, of that year, he yet again shared a good news that he was cancer-free.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, Jim Ross confirmed the news of his surgery on his right hip which was said to have gone well and he expressed gratitude to his fans for their support.

Jim Ross provides an update on his recovery

Recently, taking to his Twitter/X account, Jim Ross revealed that it was his first day out of the rehab facility and said he is improving daily. He went on to disclose that he was using a cane. However, his recovery is going well. He wrote:

  • Zelina Vega Is Done With Playing Second-Best, Vows To Become Champion

Zelina Vega has revealed her goal to become a champion in WWE and will go the extra mile to achieve that.

Over the years, Zelina Vega\’s role in WWE has evolved. From serving as a manager to becoming an active in-ring performer, her career has seen a major shift. She has also become a part of LWO and one of the biggest moments in her career took place last year when she faced Rhea Ripley at Backlash in Puerto Rico where she received a grand ovation from the fans.

Zelina Vega has also showcased impressive performances in the recent past and earned support from the fans. However, her momentum was lost at the end of last year and has been striving ever since.

On last week\’s SmackDown, Zelina Vega competed qualifying match for the Women\’s Elimination Chamber match against Tiffany Stratton in a losing effort.

On last night\’s Raw, Vega yet again had the chance to qualify as she competed in the Last Chance Battle Royal. However, her arch-rival Elektra Lopez eliminated her and Raquel Rodriguez eventually emerged victorious by last eliminating Chelsea Green.

Zelina Vega: I will make sure that at some point, I am standing there as champion

In a WWE Raw Exclusive, Zelina Vega shared her thoughts on her loss but said that she won\’t back down and contend for the title. She said:

“I don’t think anybody could imagine…not many people know what it’s like to be just having the title within your grasp, and I’ve been chasing this since Backlash, okay, and now Rhea gets to go along to Australia and have exactly what I had in Puerto Rico. She gets to just have that love and be the champion, and it’s great, except now I’m here getting left behind because now I’m trying to get my hands on Zelina Vega-lite, Zelina Vega 2.0. Again, this is bigger than Elektra. I don’t care about Elektra. This is all Santos’ fault. Realistically, what did he do? He’s trying to find somebody to equalize me because I wouldn’t feed bus delusions? Is that really what this comes down to? I’m done with playing second-best or being in people’s shadows. I’m done with that. They get to go on to Elimination Chamber and go to WrestleMania, and have these amazing moments, and I’m stuck behind.\”

    She added:

\”I’m not gonna let that happen anymore. When I tell you that something in me recently has broken, I’m not saying that to scare anybody. I’m not saying it as a threat. I’m telling you, this is what’s going to happen, and it is a warning to anybody that gets in my way. Whoever walks out of WrestleMania the champion, that is who I’m setting my sights on, and that is exactly who I’m gunning for, to take that title. I don’t care if I’m on Raw or SmackDown. I will make sure that at some point, I am standing there as champion. I don’t care how I have to do it. But first thing’s first, I’m going to find Elektra. I don’t care if I have to rip this arena apart to find her.\”

The 2024 Elimination Chamber event will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia. The show will start at 5:00 AM EST, and keep an eye on SEScoops for the coverage of the show.

Raquel Rodriguez celebrates with Gabriel Iglesias

In a WWE Raw Exclusive, renowned comedian and known WWE fan Gabriel \”Fluffy\” Iglesias interviewed Raquel Rodriguez following her win. Rodriguez hugged Iglesias, and they both yelled with excitement. Iglesias then asked Rodriguez about her return.

\”It feels good. It feels good. Those couple of months out felt like years to me. You don’t understand how crazy I was going, just being at home, walking back and forth like, ‘I gotta get back in the ring, I gotta get back in the ring, I gotta get healthy, I gotta get back.’ Finally, I’m here, and not only am I here, but I won, and I get to go to go Australia, and I get to go to the Chamber,\” Rodriguez said.

Iglesias noted that he ran into Chelsea Green, and she was not happy. Rodriguez responded by saying that she lost, and she had eliminated Chelsea in other battle royals. Iglesias agreed that Green probably didn’t like her too much before he congratulated her again.

Rodriguez had been away from in-ring action for quite some time. Last month, she revealed that she has been diagnosed with a disease called Mast Cell Activation Syndrome [MCAS], which stopped her from competing inside the squared circle. Her last match before the hiatus was at a live event back on December 3. She suffered a loss against Nia Jax in a singles bout during the house show in Portland.

Now, she has a huge task at hand and will be eyeing to outlast the other competitors inside the brutal steel structure and head to WrestleMania 40.

The 2024 Elimination Chamber event will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia. The show will start at 5:00 AM EST, and keep an eye on SEScoops for the coverage of the show.

  • Darby Allin on his Cody Rhodes promo: \”He’s the reason I’m in AEW\”

AEW star Darby Allin recently explained why he mentioned former AEW VP and current WWE star Cody Rhodes during his recent promo on AEW Dynamite.

Darby Allin and \’The Icon\’ Sting are set to team up for latter\’s retirement match against The Young Bucks at AEW Revolution pay-per-view next month. Ahead of the highly- anticipated battle, Darby Allin grabbed the attention as he namedropped Cody Rhodes on the February 14 February edition of AEW Dynamite. The reference took fans by surprise and the former TNT Champion has explained his decision to mention WWE Superstar in hyping the upcoming bout.

Darby Allin gives credit to Cody Rhodes

During a recent interview with Digital Spy, Allin addressed his decision to mention ‘The American Nightmare’ though the latter is not signed with AEW anymore.

“That’s easy because he’s the reason I’m in AEW. You think back to my debut, I wrestled him at Fyter Fest and we went a 20-minute Broadway draw. For him to take a chance on me that early… I was relatively super unknown still, I was never really the guy on the independent scene. He did that. You’ve got to give respect where respect is due. I feel very strongly on paying homage to how I got here because I never thought I was going to get here.”

Allin also addressed online criticism after his he cut the promo but he highlighted the importance of his history with the company and mentioned Rhodes’ contribution in his career and in the company overall. He said:

“I only pay attention to what I think, I really don’t care about what anyone else thinks. You’ve just got to listen to yourself about things. I really felt it was important for me to tell my part of the story leading into that match and not just be this second-rate character going into the match. I have a lot of things I wanted to say to the Young Bucks and I said it and so be it. I just want to go out there and speak my mind on things.”

Allin will team with Sting to defend the AEW Tag Team Championship against The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) at AEW Revolution pay-per-view on March 3 at Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

After fans outraged and WWE received , the main event was reverted back to the original plans of Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal title match at \’The Show of Shows.\’

With the Elias name owned by WWE, the former Superstar repackaged his gimmick and is now known as Elijah. It\’s worth noting that the Elias and Elijah names come from the Old Testament prophet of the same name.

Elijah suffered a loss against \’Speedball\’ Mike Bailey

Elijah recently made his comeback to the ring at last night\’s Wrestling REVOLVER event, where he faced \’Speedball\’ Mike Bailey in a singles match. The former Elias was in great shape despite being away from the ring since May last year.

The weight room in there [the Performance Center] is amazing. They\’ve got a ton of rings. It\’s just great because obviously when you\’re wrestling it\’s not only about how you look it\’s about how safe you can be and how you can protect who you\’re in the ring with.\”

Well, someday Declan could hit the squared circle just like his father. He also has his debut plan plotted and you can read about it below:
