  • AEW’s Skye Blue Shares Promising Recovery Update After Severe Ankle Injury

AEW Skye Blue recently provided an update on her recovery after suffering a devastating ankle injury last year. She has now confirmed that she is able to walk again and working towards full recovery.

During a virtual signing with K & S WrestleFest, Skye Blue revealed that she is recuperating and she is hoping to make her in-ring return soon. Blue said that recovering from an ankle injury is difficult, especially in her case, where her ankle was completely disconnected from her leg. The 25-year old star further stated that she’s getting better every day:

“I’m trying. Healing an ankle is not easy, and especially when it’s completely disconnected from your leg. But, hopefully soon. Getting better and better every day.”

Skye Blue was asked about when she’s returning. She confirmed that she was able to walk again which is a positive sign as previously she had to scoot up the stairs. She didn\’t reveal when she will manage to return to in-ring competition, she did assure the fans that she is trying her best to do so. She explained:

“I wish I knew, brother . But I’m trying. I’m trying. I can walk. That is a plus. I remember when I couldn’t do that and I was butt scooting up my stairs. Oh, that was the worst… It was funny.”

Skye Blue had sustained the ankle injury during her match against Hikaru Shida on an episode of AEW Collision last year. Their match was abruptly stopped. Blue suffered the injury after Shida hit a crossbody to Blue outside of the ring and Skye was visibly in pain after the landing.

The medics immediately attended her and she had to be carried backstage. She soon underwent a surgery to fix her ankle and ever since she has been on the shelf.

We at SEScoops wish her a speedy recovery and hope she is able to return to action soon.

  • Kevin Owens’ Neck Injury Has Former WWE Star Worried: \’Hope He Is Not Released After Surgery\’

Former WWE star Karl Anderson is hopeful that WWE doesn\’t fire Kevin Owens amid latter\’s injury woes.

Anderson, who is currently on the shelf with a torn rotator cuff and a partially torn labrum, underwent surgery in November and said he would be out six to nine months.

Alongside his tag team partner Doc Gallows, he recently returned to their Talk’n Shop podcast for the first time since they were released by WWE in February. The duo was let go from the company as Anderson was dealing with the injury.

Anderson had raised concerns that Kevin Owens shouldn\’t face the same fate as him. During a new episode of Talk N Shop, Anderson & Gallows announced that they would talk about in detail on May 8th. There were reports about Owens\’ injury ahead of last week\’s WWE SmackDown and \’The Prizefighter\’ later confirmed the same.

He further announced on the blue brand that he needed to get neck surgery. It is to be kept in mind that KO hadn\’t made the announcement when Anderson\’s podcast episode was recorded. Here is what Karl Anderson said:

\”I don\’t know anything about anything. I\’m not in the middle of anything. I don\’t know anything about storylines or how his health is. I don\’t know his injury status. I don\’t want to comment on that. Here\’s what I\’m going to go with. If Kevin is really hurt, which I\’m not saying he is or isn\’t, I don\’t have any idea. I haven\’t followed. I\’m barely involved. I\’m just going to say this; I hope, if he\’s really hurt and he has surgery, I hope he is not released two and a half months after the major surgery. That\’s all I\’m going to say. I hope that doesn\’t happen to him. I hope that it\’s a work and Randy [Orton] attacks him and they have a match at WrestleMania. If Kevin is really hurt, I just hope two and a half months after his recovery, everything is going well.\”

Kevin Owens\’ neck injury has forced him to miss WrestleMania 41. Moreover, due to the seriousness of the injury, his pro wrestling future is also up in the air. This has left Randy Orton without an opponent for WrestleMania. With less than two weeks for the show, some fans have also endorsed Karrion Kross to be Orton\’s opponent at \’The Grandest Stage of Them All.

  • Bron Breakker\’s Girlfriend Has Jokes After His Devastating Spear On Raw

NXT star Izzi Dame, the real-life girlfriend of WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker recently reacted to his brutal spear on last night\’s WWE Raw.

Breakker, who is merciless inside the squared circle, lashed out a series of spears on his upcoming opponents at WrestleMania 41. During last night\’s Raw, the reigning champ rushed down the ramp to hit a massive spear on Carlito which grabbed some eyeballs due to its vicious nature. He then went on to spear Dominik Mysterio and Penta. However, Finn Balor outsmarted Breakker and evaded a spear.

Following the segment, Bron Breakker\’s girlfriend Izzi Dame reacted to Breakker hitting the vicious spear on Carlito. It turns out Breakker unleashes spears at home too. Here is what she wrote on X:

“This what he does to me every time I walk through the door LMAO.\”

Izzi Dame and Bron Breakker has been in a relationship since October last year. Dame, who is currently signed with NXT, has been part of The Culling after betraying Tony D’Angelo. She has been associated with Shawn Spears, Brooks Jensen, and Niko Vance.

On the other hand, Bron Breakker, who is the son of pro wrestling legend Rick Steiner, is set to defend his Intercontinental title against Penta, Dominik Mysterio, and Finn Balor in a fatal four way match at WrestleMania 41.

  • Sheamus Provides An Update Amid WWE Hiatus

WWE star Sheamus recently provided an update on his whereabouts amid his time off from WWE. \’The Celtic Warrior\’ has confirmed that he will be out of action for the next few weeks as he is spending time in his homeland, Ireland.

Taking to X, the former World Champion dropped a photo of himself in County Clare in Ireland. In the caption, he revealed that he was taking big bumps there. He also showed off some wounds on his knees. Check out the post below:

Sheamus had recently made his return to the ring during WWE\’s European tour last month. His last on-screen appearance took place when he competed in the Men\’s Royal Rumble match in January.

In the Rumble, \’The Celtic Warrior\’ spent over 15 minutes competing. If he had won the Royal Rumble, Sheamus would have challenged Bron Breakker for his Intercontinental Championship. Unfortunately, his hopes were shattered after he was eliminated by Roman Reigns.

WWE Intercontinental Championship is the only title which has evaded Sheamus\’ decorated resume. He has challenged for the coveted title on multiple occasions but failed to capture. This is the only title which is keeping him away from becoming a Grand Slam Champion in WWE. Fans will have to wait for at least next few weeks and see when he decides to make his return to in-ring action.

  • Saraya Teases WWE Return, Wants To Tick-Off 2 Things On Her Bucket List

Former AEW star Saraya (formerly Paige in WWE) has opened up on her pro wrestling future and she has set some goals.

The former WWE Divas Champion has teased a potential return to WWE and revealed that there are a couple of match stipulations that she wants to cross off.

Saraya recently joined in for an interview with Scott Fishman of TV Insider. She has revealed that she has set some goals in pro wrestling and highlighted that she has never been a part of Women\’s Royal Rumble or the Elimination Chamber match. Saraya also stated that she is planning to train with WWE star Natalya in the Hart Family \”Dungeon.\” She said:

“I would like to get back in the ring this year and really train and find myself again. I feel like I didn’t do that the past couple of years. I want to do the training side of things. I want to go to Nattie’s training school and get in the ring with her. That’s my focus this year. I didn’t get to do a Royal Rumble or an Elimination Chamber or anything I didn’t get to do. Maybe down the line I will get to do them, who knows?”

In 2018, WWE introduced the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches. However, due to Saraya\’s neck injury she was not cleared to wrestle at the time and was forced to retire. She ultimately departed the company in 2022.

So, naturally she unable to compete in any of the special stipulation matches. She eventually joined AEW in 2022 and again started competing inside the ring. However, Saraya recently made her exit from AEW and her return to WWE has been rumored ever since.

Recently, several wrestlers have already jumped ship from AEW including Penta and Rey Fenix. There is a huge possibility that Saraya could follow suit. But the question remains whether the WWE medical team give a green signal to Saraya for competing in the ring.

Neck injuries have disrupted careers of several talented wrestlers and it is not be taken lightly. Most recently, Kevin Owens have suffered the same fate, who is dealing with a serious neck injury.

  • Bryan Danielson Reportedly Returns Backstage At AEW Dynasty

Former AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson was backstage at last night\’s AEW Dynasty pay-per-view in Philadelphia, PA, according to PWInsider.

The outlet shared little detail on Danielson’s backstage presence but they confirmed that he was at The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia and was there \”all night\”.

However, no details were shared as to what Bryan Danielson was doing backstage. This is not the first time he has made a backstage appearance. Bryan Danielson was also backstage at AEW Dynamite previously.

\’The American Dragon\’ has been away from the programming since WrestleDream which took place in October last year. In his final match as a full-time competitor, he lost the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley.

Danielson hasn’t made any appearances on AEW television since then. However, he did make an appearance at the All In: Texas ticket on-sale rally on December 9th last year.

The former WWE star has a history with neck injuries which put him on the shelf for quite some time. It also shortened his WWE in-ring career. The former Daniel Bryan was also forced to retire due to his neck issues but was able to make a return to in-ring action in March 2018. Danielson\’s future in wrestling remains up in the air and he previously addressed his future, saying there’s a 50/50 chance he’ll wrestle again.

  • Charlotte Flair Gets Love from Andrade After Tiffany Stratton’s Personal Jab

WWE star Andrade recently sent a heartwarming message to his ex-wife Charlotte Flair on the latter\’s birthday.

This comes at a time after Charlotte Flair had a tough time coping with WWE Women\’s Champion Tiffany Stratton\’s personal shots on last night\’s WWE SmackDown. \’The Queen\’ is set to challenge Stratton for the WWE Women’s title at WrestleMania 41.

With couple of weeks left for the show, they were involved in a war of words on the blue brand. Stratton mentioned Flair’s personal real-life relationship issues and things got very personal on the show. Stratton was referencing Flair’s divorce from Andrade and said:

“When it’s all said and done, you’re going to be just like you are outside of the ring, alone! What is that record, like 0-3?”

Charlotte Flair and Andrade tied the knot in May 2022 after being in a relationship since 2019. However, the couple divorced on October 20th, 2024. Flair was previously married to Riki Johnson from 2010 until 2013 and fellow wrestler Thomas Latimer from 2013 until 2015.

WWE star Ludwig Kaiser\’s name also got in the mix. After Statton\’s jab at Flair\’s divorce, \’The Queen\’ made a comment about Stratton’s real-life boyfriend Ludwig Kaiser, saying:

“Is that why Kaiser’s in my DMs?”

Ludwig Kaiser responds to Charlotte Flair\’s remarks

The former Imperium member has also responded to Charlotte Flair’s comments from her fiery exchange with Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown. Kaiser dropped a video of Shawn Michaels telling Diana Smith:

    “Please do not flatter yourself.”

It was reported that both Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton went “off-script quite a bit” during this heated segment, as the pair reportedly said little of what was on the script. WWE had also posted an official clip of the personal comments, but later deleted it.

This is not the first time WWE wrestlers have gone off the script. The heated moment has created visible tension but at the end of the day it is hopeful that they keep it professional in the ring when they face each other at WrestleMania 41.

  • Kevin Owens Reportedly Dealing With Injury, Match Against Randy Orton At WrestleMania 41 Up In The Air

Kevin Owens has been dealing with an injury that will likely prevent him from competing at WrestleMania 41 in his scheduled match against Randy Orton.

\’The Prizefighter\’ had emerged victorious over Sami Zayn in an unsanctioned match at WWE Elimination Chamber. Post-match, he tried to inflict more damage to his former best friend until Randy Orton made his surprise return and saved Zayn.\’ Orton attacked Owens and tried to hit him with the punt but the security intervened. \’The Viper\’ was previously taken out by KO, who tried to end his career. Orton has been seeking revenge and after weeks of build up, they are scheduled to face in a grudge match at \’The Grandest Stage of Them All\’.

The match is still official but a report has raised concerns regarding the match. PWN reported that Kevin Owens is dealing with an undisclosed injury and it is unclear when he will be cleared to compete:

“PWN has been told Kevin Owens is dealing with an undisclosed injury with no timetable set for a return to action. This puts Owens’ WrestleMania match vs Randy Orton in jeopardy with 15 days remaining until the show of shows. To the extent that alternative plans for Orton have been discussed, but no pivot has been made for Orton yet. Owens’ last match came on March 1st at Elimination Chamber vs Sami Zayn in an Unsanctioned match.\”

Dave Meltzer has since confirmed that Owens is battling a \”serious injury.\”

There has been no official word from WWE or Owens himself regarding the reported injury. All eyes will on tonight\’s WWE SmackDown to see whether Kevin Owens addresses this reported injury.

  • Cody Rhodes Says The Rock Still Has More Matches Left

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes recently said that he feels The Rock still has more than one match left in the tank. \’The American Nightmare\’ even stated that he would love to go one on one with \’The Final Boss\’.

Speaking with Pardon My Take, Cody Rhodes was asked whether he would want to face The Rock inside the ring in a singles match. The reigning WWE Champion suggested that he would love to be involved in a match against the veteran superstar. Despite the hectic schedule, Cody isn\’t ruling out a one on one encounter with him. He said:

\”I think he\’s due for more than one match and I would love to be penciled in on one of those. Obviously that schedule is as intense as it gets but he\’s still so involved with WWE. He could have easily been the final boss and just kind of taken that as a customary title. But he has really gotten his hands involved in and what we\’re doing.\”

Cody Rhodes also added that The Rock vs Roman Reigns needs to happen. He explained:

\”…what the reaction you can get from doing wrestling moves in the ring and the promo in the interview I really have enjoyed that connection with him. I\’d like be one of those, I think he has two matches he has to do. I\’m not putting any pressure on anyone. I\’d love to see if him and his cousin Roman Reigns ever have this encounter, maybe it\’s the greatest match we never get, just because timing whatever it may be. And I think we need to finish our own story with him and with myself but we\’ll see.\”

For over a year, The Rock and Cody Rhodes have been heavily involved in storylines, starting with Cody choosing to face Roman Reigns after winning the Royal Rumble match last year. This hampered The Rock\’s plan to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. This led to the birth of The Rock’s “Final Boss” persona.

At WrestleMania 40, The Rock returned to the ring and teamed with his cousin Roman Reigns to face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on Night 1. They won the battle, setting up Bloodline Rules for the main event on Night 2. Their story is ongoing and it has continued even after WrestleMania. At this year\’s Elimination Chamber, Cody refused The Rock’s offer to sell his soul and it led to John Cena joining forces with The Rock.

Cody Rhodes is all set to put his Undisputed WWE title on the line against John Cena at WrestleMania 41.

  • B-Fab Calls Out Naomi In A Fiery Promo: ‘You Exchanged Your Pain for Pride’

B-Fab is all fired up and issued a warning to Naomi ahead of their grudge match on this week\’s edition of WWE SmackDown.

Naomi recently embraced her darker side and revealed that she was the attacker of Jade Cargill. Well, she has gone berserk and wanted to send a statement on last week\’s WWE SmackDown. Ahead of Michin\’s match against Charlotte Flair, Naomi came out and brutally attacked B-Fab and Michin. However, she ran away when Jade Cargill showed up.

B-Fab has now posted a video clip on Instagram in which she called out Naomi. The former Hit Row member said that Naomi inspired her to be in the business and it\’s commendable how far her rival has come. However, Naomi\’s actions against Jade Cargill hurt her. Here is what she said (transcribed by SEScoops):

\”You\’ve always done the right thing. Always. That\’s exactly why we looked up to you. You\’re the reason why I wanted to be in this business. You inspired more than just one if you didn\’t know. Everybody who told me I\’ll be nothing in this business that I couldn\’t make it, I ignored it all and I looked at you Naomi. I saw you scratching claw for a little piece that they gave you but I knew that one day you would overcome and you showed us all when you became Women\’s Champion. But when we heard what happened to Jade we were all sad. But when
you came out and confessed in that ring that you were the one who did it? We were all hurt, especially me. You exchanged your pain for pride and on top of it all you wanted to be justified. See this Friday when I\’m in a ring with you I won\’t be in the ring with the glow that we once knew. Nah. I\’m gonna be locked in and I\’m gonna do what\’s right even if that means pretending that I don\’t know you. It\’s gonna hurt me but it\’s all good because you know why that\’s just how it be. See you on Friday.\”

Earlier this week, Naomi had even reposted a video clip on X in which she was choking. The former Women\’s Champion even warned B-Fab, saying she won\’t release the chokehold next time they square off.

The rivalry between Naomi and Jade Cargill is boiling. The former even ruined Cargill\’s in ring return against Liv Morgan, marking her first loss in a singles battle. Not only that, she even took out Cargill following the match. It is now a matter of time when Cargill and Naomi go face to face inside the ring.

  • Paul Heyman Drew Inspiration From \’The Untouchables\’ For A Promo On CM Punk\’s Departure

Paul Heyman recently recalled cutting a promo in 2014 in Chicago, the hometown of CM Punk. It came after Punk\’s departure from the company following Royal Rumble that year. Punk\’s future in pro wrestling was up in the air and Paul Heyman had to deal with the hostile Chicago crowd as he came out to Punk\’s music on the March 3rd edition of WWE Raw in 2014. Well, Heyman revealed that he drew inspiration from \’The Untouchables\’, the popular film from 1987 that revolves around Chicago gangster, Al Capone.

During an interview with Undisputed\’s Justin Barrasso, Paul Heyman recalled the segment and how he managed to pull of the iconic promo. He said:

“That moment in Chicago was a very unique period of time. It came after the Royal Rumble where CM Punk had walked out, and the Chicago crowd was on fire, angry that obviously CM Punk was not going to be there. In the meantime, my appearance took on a whole new meaning because I was so closely associated with Punk. I was going to be a distraction from Brock Lesnar, and we had to get Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker on the map because we were heading straight into WrestleMania.”

Heyman continued that given the circumstances of the show, it reminded him of the movie, \’The Untouchables.\’ He said:

“In looking at the circumstance, it reminded me of The Untouchables, which was directed by Brian De Palma. Kevin Costner, who plays Eliot Ness, leads a group–they’re ‘The Untouchables’. One of the villains in the movie kills one of ‘The Untouchables’ and writes ‘Touchable’ in blood on the elevator wall. It was such a dramatic turning point in the movie.”

Dealing with Chicago crowd is not a walk in the park but Paul Heyman did not see it as an unwinnable situation in Chicago. Heyman grabbed the opportunity to promote the historical match between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker at WrestleMania. He managed to struck a chord with the fans and the rest is history. He said:

“I never saw the situation in Chicago as unwinnable. I looked at it as a magnificent opportunity to promote Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker. I knew I could spin within my persona the fact that Punk would have beaten The Undertaker the year before had he just listened to me and ignored the love being bestowed upon him by the audience. In blaming the audience for Punk’s decision to leave, which would only have happened outside of my wisdom, I was directing my venom towards them–and I’d punish the audience by taking something away from them, which would be The Streak, and the only beast on the planet that could beat The Streak was Brock Lesnar. It sounds so fucking convoluted, but when you put it in front of yourself, with that audience that night in that moment, it all made sense.”

Paul Heyman and CM Punk have a fair share of history together in WWE. After Punk\’s shocking return in 2023, he has been on quite the run. Punk and Heyman are also reunited together on-screen. Punk is finally set to live his dream of headlining WrestleMania against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. This Friday on WWE SmackDown, it all comes full circle as Paul Heyman returns to Chicago, Illinois with the hometown hero in the mix as well.

Speaking in an interview with PEOPLE, Cena hyped his match at WrestleMania 41 and assured there’s more “unpredictability” on the way. Of course, he remained tight-lipped on the plans and didn\’t give any spoilers. However, he teased more surprises in the future. John Cena said :

“I’m going to say that there’s more unpredictability on the way. Here’s the stance I’m going to take on it, and I think hopefully I can put it in terms you can understand: We’re in the middle of a very riveting season of episodic television and you are kindly asking me to give you spoilers, and I can’t do that. What I did really enjoy about your question is you expressed the unpredictability of WWE programming, and I think that’s one strong point of the current state of WWE is its unpredictability in its programming.”

During the latest edition of WWE Raw, John Cena and Cody Rhodes came face to face. They had a heated battle of words and they took some personal shots at each other. The former 16-time World Champion even dropped references of Cody\’s AEW career while \’The American Nightmare\’ reminded Cena of his hostile relationship with fans. • Joe Weller Begins Wrestling Training and His Own \’Road To WrestleMania\’

Popular British YouTuber Joe Weller has stepped inside the squared circle to start his pro wrestling journey and even said that he is on his \’Road to WrestleMania.\’

Recently, WWE has been collaborating with social media influencers, including YouTubers and streamers and catering to larger audience across the globe. Influencers such as former WWE US Champion Logan Paul, KSI, and IShowSpeed have been heavily involved with the company and Joe Weller is seemingly next in line.

Weller boasts more than five million subscribers on YouTube and garnered more attention after dropping WWE references. After Weller taking a suplex from Logan Paul during the recent Sidemen Charity Match, the Brit has been eager to step inside the ring.

Joe Weller recently dropped a photo on social media, in which he was in a wrestling ring with British independent wrestlers Danny Black and Joe Lando. He then teased that he is on the road to WrestleMania as he captioned his photo:

\”The road to Wrestlemania begins… My first wrestling class\”

Joe Weller has been clear about performing for WWE but he said that he would want to do things the ‘respectable way’ by working his way up through the indies before entering the world of WWE. During an appearance on Logan Paul\’s \’Impaulsive\’ podcast, Weller said:

“I would love to. I genuinely would love to. So, I had the thought of doing the indie circuit and doing it like the respectable way, and documenting that and then hopefully WWE are like, ‘F***ing hell, you’re killing it on the indie scene, let’s get you in’. But yeah, I’d honestly love to. I think I’d be a good heel.”

  • Mandy Rose Fires Back At Fans Over \’Double Champion\’ Claim

Former NXT Women\’s Champion Mandy Rose is not mincing words when it comes to her claims of being a double champion in WWE.

Almost three years back, Mandy Rose was let go from WWE and she hasn\’t been on best of terms with the company. At NXT Roadblock, Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer defeated Giulia to win the NXT Women’s Title. Thus, becoming a double champion. \’The Dark Angel\’ has since been been dubbed as NXT’s first double women’s champion, and she successfully defended both titles on March 25th.

However, Mandy Rose has expressed his distaste about how WWE doesn\’t acknowledge her feat. On social media, Rose shared a post from a fan and accused WWE of pretending their own history doesn’t exist. She claimed that she has been a double champion in NXT before Vaquer. Rose said it was “pathetic” and feels she was \”erased\” from WWE history.

Fans on social media started to dispute Mandy\’s claim and the former WWE star took note of it. She dropped a video clip and hit back at the fans. She said:

\”It\’s so funny to me that the people that never held a championship before are the first to sit there and argue about what counts as a double champion. Listen, y\’all can argue semantics all that you want, but I still held two titles at the same time. Yes, unified them, thank you. And, call it what you want; who cares? Double Champion, Mandy Two Belts, Undisputed Bada**, whatever. It still doesn\’t take away the fact that I did it. So you know, y\’all can keep fact-checking over there, and I\’ll just keep winning. Have a great day,\” said Mandy Rose.

  • Ryan Nemeth Reveals He Turned Down New AEW Contract Amid Lawsuit

TNA Wrestling star Ryan Nemeth has called out AEW and Tony Khan for humiliating him the way he was served a lawsuit.

On his Substack, Nemeth revealed what happened between him and the company. In a post on the platform, Nemeth has shared the detail about being countersued by Khan and AEW to compel arbitration in the suit Nemeth filed against Tony Khan, AEW and also CM Punk.

He had previously revealed on social media about being sued by “a literal billionaire.” Nemeth sued AEW, Khan, and Punk in February and alleged breach of contract and assault. AEW and Khan filed a motion to compel arbitration in the case and to have the case moved from California to Florida. They have cited the arbitration clause in Ryan Nemeth’s contract.

\”Let’s back up a bit. I was on the receiving end of some pretty insane abuse from my former employer. I did all the things you’re supposed to do: I communicated. I spoke to HR. I spoke to Legal. I spoke to my bosses. I kept records. I have witnesses. I was even offered a settlement. Then, instead of those terms being honored, in a very bizarre pseudo U-turn of events, I was offered a new contract with AEW in lieu of pursuing legal action. (For those of you wondering, I said “No, thanks.”). Oddly enough, I was also told the lawyer who offered me the original settlement had no authority to do so (that sounds like serious organizational dysfunction, but who am I to say?)\” Ryan Nemeth wrote.

In his Substack note, Ryan Nemeth stated that he was about to go on-stage for his off-Broadway debut play in Queens, New York City on Saturday but he was approached by a process server and notified that he was being sued:

\”The night of our second, and final, performance, I was approached by a man in the theater lobby just outside the restrooms. He said he was there to serve me legal papers (“Hey, sorry, you’re gettin’ sued”), and apologized for doing it at this inopportune time. He was giving me a legal notice that my former employer was suing me to move our legal dispute to arbitration, i.e., to keep everything private.

He revealed that Andrew, the writer and director of the play, saw this interaction, and raised questions about what was happening. Ryan Nemeth revealed:

\”I said, Oh, I’m being sued by a billionaire right now.\’ Andrew’s jaw dropped. “WHAT!” I could understand his shock- we were about to go on!\”

The man then told me he was a wrestling fan, and that his son was a wrestler on his school team, or maybe had an interest in joining (it was hard to keep this all straight, as I had so much going through my head at the time), and he even asked about the play and if he could stay to watch it. To be honest, he was nice enough. I could tell he didn’t want to be doing this to me, four minutes before curtains went up.

I looked at the large stack of paperwork he’d just handed me. I saw the main bullet points: “Tony Khan… All Elite Wrestling… A lawsuit has been filed against you…”

“Did you know this was coming?” the man asked me, quite sincerely.

    “Nope.” I told him, honestly.

A friend of mine who had come to the show walked past. “Hey- are you okay?”

“Tony Khan is suing me.” I held up the paperwork and forced a smile. “Enjoy the show!”

After parting ways with AEW, Ryan Nemeth inked a deal with TNA Wrestling last year. It was recently announced that The Hardy Boys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) will defend their TNA Tag Team Titles against The Nemeths (Ryan Nemeth & Nic Nemeth) at TNA Rebellion on April 27th.

The incident occurred on March 14th when Patron was in action against El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. As per TV Azteca, El Patron confronted fans following the match as they were throwing coins and beer at him. Alberto El Patron entered the crowd area and threw a chair which hit a woman in the face. The woman was soon attended by paramedics at the event and was rushed to the hospital.

Video clip of the incident also surfaced on social media. El Patron could be seen trying to jump over the barricade but was unable to get over. He then got to the left side of the venue and into the crowd. Patron then threw the chair at the crowd before he was struck by a chair. He then made his way back to the ringside area.

The suspension document, signed by Prof. Mario Fuentes Luna, President of the Tijuana Wrestling Commission, explicitly states that Alberto Del Rio is prohibited from performing in Tijuana for a six-month period. As noted by Rob Viper, El Patron\’s ban is specific to the city, which means his involvement in upcoming AAA tapings in nearby Ensenada and Rosarito won\’t be impacted. However, should AAA decide to host a Triplemania show in Tijuana before September, El Patron will be banned from competing at the event.

This marks the latest in a series of controversies for the wrestler, who has previously faced legal and professional issues throughout his career in both WWE and AAA.

  • Booker T Feels Oba Femi And Moose Could Have Iconic Trilogy Like Muhammad Ali

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently showered praise on the NXT Champion Oba Femi and TNA X Division Champion Moose.

The two powerhouse wrestlers clashed at NXT Roadblock. The battled it out with Femi\’s NXT title on the line. It was the Nigerian star who pinned Moose and successfully defended his title. Speaking with co-host Brad Gilmore on the latest edition of his Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T gave flowers to both the wrestlers and stated that he could see both of them having a trilogy of matches. He reckoned that Oba Femi and Moose should run it back and have a trilogy similar to Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. He said:

\”Two guys went out there, like you said, throwbacks. That was a throwback match. Back in the day, when you saw two guys that was 250+ pounds in the middle of that squared circle, [they would] throw down some shakespeare, some Romeo & Juliet, Phantom Of The Opera, they had a really good feel to that match.

When it was time for Moose to actually do something spectacular, boom, he actually came out the trick bag and did it. Everything was right as far as that match goes between Oba Femi and Moose. I feel like that match is going to be like [Muhammad] Ali and [Joe] Frazier, a trilogy. We’ve got to run it back somewhere, we’ve got to run it back. After we run it back, we’re gonna have to run it back again. We gonna get three paydays out of this thing, at least three paydays.\”

Booker T further reckoned that they should collide multiple times and even wants to witness them at the grandest stage of WrestleMania. He added:

\”As far as my perspective, those guys went out there and they had a hell of a match and it couldn’t have been in a better place, Madison Square Garden theater. Man, goosebumps thinking about it. That’s the kind of stuff you think about, ‘Man, do you miss it?’

I miss those moments. Heck yeah, I miss those kind of moments right there. For those guys to be able to experience that just one time, hopefully they can do it again, but just one time — even on a big WrestleMania stage, can you picture that? So much more left to be done with those two.”

The final moments of the NXT-TNA crossover match saw Oba Femi blocking Moose’s second spear attempt and planted him with a pop-up powerbomb, and pinning Moose with an arm drape.

Following the loss, Moose said that he was determined to return to the white and gold brand, while Oba Femi said that it was “one hell of a collision.\” The NXT Champion is also confident to take on anyone from anywhere.
