  • Stephanie Vaquer Apologizes for Saying \’Wrestling Doesn\’t Exist in Chile\’

WWE Women\’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer recently issued a public apology to the Chilean wrestling community after a controversial remark during a backstage segment on WWE Monday Night Raw where she stated that \”in Chile, wrestling doesn\’t exist.\”

During a backstage interview segment on Raw, Vaquer interrupted a sit-down between Michael Cole and Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan. The WWE Women\’s World Champion delivered a blistering promo entirely in Spanish, with Dominik Mysterio reluctantly translating for Morgan, and referenced the sacrifices behind her rise.

Vaquer said she was born in Chile, \”a country where wrestling doesn\’t exist,\” before listing the places she has wrestled around the world and positioning herself as a self-made star on the global stage.

The line immediately sparked backlash online and within the Chilean independent scene, where wrestlers and fans felt their years of work had been erased on the biggest stage imaginable.

    Vaquer\’s Instagram Apology

Hours later, Vaquer took to Instagram Stories to clarify her comments and apologize. She admitted she made \”an error\” by saying that, \”in Chile wrestling doesn\’t exist,\” stressing that \”it does exist, and we have a great deal of talent.\”

    https://media.sescoops.com/uploads/2026/02/\"Stephanie

Vaquer explained that what she intended to communicate was that when she emigrated from Chile, the professional scene was not yet developed in the same way it is today, calling it a simple \”error de palabras\” (slip of the tongue) during a live television promo.

She concluded by offering \”a big apology\” and sending \”a giant hug\” to all Chilean wrestlers whose effort and dedication have turned modern Chilean wrestling into a reality.

Why the Comment Hit a Nerve

While Vaquer did spend her early years in relatively small Chilean promotions before making her name in Mexico and Japan, the country has an active independent circuit that predates her move abroad.

Promotions and schools across Santiago and other cities have worked for years to keep the scene alive, often with limited resources and without the visibility of bigger markets.

For many of those performers, hearing the most internationally successful Chilean wrestler say their industry \”doesn\’t exist\” felt like a dismissal of their struggles to build and sustain local wrestling.

The controversy became less about a single line in a promo and more about long-standing frustration over recognition and opportunities for Chilean talent.

Vaquer\’s career helps explain the context she was trying to evoke. She began training and wrestling in small Chilean shows before relocating to Mexico, where she eventually became a champion in CMLL and later added titles in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Her success opened the door for a historic move to WWE, where she quickly rose through the ranks of NXT and eventually captured the Women\’s World Championship at Wrestlepalooza.

In previous interviews, she has openly spoken about never having wrestled professionally in front of her family in Chile and about her dream of bringing a WWE show to the country.

The apology appears aimed at mending fences with the Chilean locker rooms and fans who felt slighted. For WWE, the incident underscores the delicate balance between cutting sharp, character-driven promos and respecting real-world wrestling communities, especially as the company looks to deepen its presence in Latin America and potentially tour South America in the coming years.

  • Liv Morgan Clarifies WWE Online Criticism Comments

Former WWE Women\’s World Champion Liv Morgan has clarified her recent comments on online criticism and highlighted that while she values her supporters, she prioritizes the opinions of Triple H, producers, and her peers.

The 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble winner is currently gearing up to challenge either Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer or WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42.

Morgan addressed the earlier remarks during an appearance on the Battleground Podcast. The Judgment Day member clarified that she does care about the WWE viewers but understands that pleasing everyone is impossible.

    Liv Morgan on Valued Opinions

Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, Liv Morgan explained who she values opinions from, distinguishing between fans and online critics:

\”That’s not to say that I don’t care about my supporters or the people that watch the product. But pertaining to online criticism, yeah, I do not care. I don’t care about what you have to say. I care about, obviously, what Triple H thinks, my boss. My producers. My peers involved. And whomever I’m seeking guidance for or advice for after the fact. And that could be various people, or no one.\”

Morgan used a peach analogy to explain her perspective. She stated that “it could be the yummiest, juiciest, most delicious peach in the world, but there’s still someone that doesn’t like peaches. And that’s okay.”

    WrestleMania 42 Championship Challenge

Liv Morgan is preparing herself to defeat either Stephanie Vaquer or Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42. The superstar\’s focus remains on preparing for this significant opportunity, tuning out negativity as she aims for championship gold. On the latest edition of Raw, she was involved in a segment with Vaquer, which ended with Morgan in tears.

The former WWE Champion said that the injury he suffered at last year’s Battle Riot is no longer preventing him from training. He is also scheduled to appear at WWE World on April 20th, 2026.

\”The last match I had was in April when I broke both of them for MLW. And so it’s been a bit of a comeback. I haven’t wrestled since then. I imagine my feet will be probably a little bit sore, but they’re not holding me back now from running, training, spinning, kicking.\”

  • Sherilyn Guerrero Reveals What Fans Miss Most About Eddie, Names Dream Opponent

Sherilyn Guerrero recently said that the thing fans miss most about her father isn\’t the matches or the championships — it\’s his humor.

In an interview with Muscle Memory with MuscleManMalcolm at Anime Fest\’s Wrestle Verse in Houston, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero revealed what fans tell her most often. She also shared her favorite photo of her father, and named her dream opponent.

\”Definitely his Halloween Havoc match with Rey Mysterio. There\’s a lot of [talk about] his World Championship. That was an emotional win for sure,\” Sherilyn said. \”But I think a lot of people are sharing the funniness and humor that they miss from him. That\’s what I miss too because that was him all around. Whether it was a promo, in the ring, out the ring, he was just fun. That\’s what I\’ve been hearing that people miss the most.\”

As a professional photographer, Sherilyn also revealed her favorite photo of her father and it is one of wrestling\’s most iconic moments.

\”I think my favorite photo of my dad that was ever taken is probably him and Chris Benoit celebrating in the ring at WrestleMania,\” she said. \”It\’s so candid, so amazing.\”

The image, from WrestleMania XX in 2004, captured Eddie and Benoit embracing in the ring after both held world titles simultaneously.

Sherilyn Guerrero Names Her Dream Opponent

Looking ahead to her own career, Sherilyn named Women\’s United States Champion Chelsea Green as the opponent she\’d most want to face. She said:

\”If you take the personality and character that I am and who my dad was, mix it with Chelsea Green, you would probably have not only an athletic match, but a really good entertainment match.\”

She added that she\’d want former WWE Women\’s World Champion Rhea Ripley to \”come in and just kick our ass.\”

The choice reflects Sherilyn\’s character-first approach to wrestling, and she credits it to growing up around Eddie, whose blend of athleticism and personality made him one of the most beloved performers in wrestling history.

Unfortunately, Eddie Guerrero passed away on November 13th, 2005 at the age of 38. Twenty years later, his legacy continues through his family, with Sherilyn currently training at Booker T\’s Reality of Wrestling in Texas.

  • MJF Says WWE Was ‘Very Interested’ During Contract Talks

AEW World Champion MJF recently revealed that WWE had “a lot” of interest in him when his contract with AEW was nearing its end.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, \’The Salt of the Earth\’ was asked how much interest there really was from WWE during that period. Here is what he said:

“You know the answer, there was a lot. I had some nice calls with some nice folks who are high up on the chain, and they were interested in me. They’re still very much so interested in me, and I understand why.\”

How MJF Would Handle Switching Promotions

The conversation revolved around money and professionalism and he leaned into his long-running “you’ll never know what I really believe” style of presentation. He continued:

“If you put a contract in front of me with the right amount of money, I’m going to do this. I’m going to broadcast how important those three letters are. Those three letters are just as important as these, because you’re paying me to say that.\”

    He added:

“Now, do I believe it’s true? You’ll never know, and that’s the beauty of it. No matter what promotion I’m working for, I’m going to shamelessly shill what’s going on. Now, can I look in the camera and say I really do believe everything I’ve said prior to this? Yes I can, but they’ll never know.”

Related: WWE’s current mindset about the possibility of signing MJF, MJF on WWE counterprogramming AEW, and why MJF wanted to be a free agent in 2024.

MJF didn’t give a straight answer about his next steps, but he made it clear the interest was real. It is also clear that he believes the marketing side of pro wrestling is part of the job, no matter who signs the check.

  • Oba Femi Dismisses Doubters: \”Is the Chamber Ready for Me?\”

Former NXT Champion Oba Femi recently flipped the script on doubters questioning his readiness for WWE\’s biggest stages. During the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast, \’The Ruler\’ said the real question is whether the Elimination Chamber or any opponent is ready for him.

\”A lot of people\’s question is, is Oba ready for the next big thing, the next big stage? Is he ready for the chamber? But the real question is, is the chamber ready for Oba Femi? Because a lot of times it\’s not just that we\’re looking for a spot for Oba, where to plug him in. The truth is like not everybody wants to be plugged in, not everybody [wants to face him] because the boys know what that entails. So wherever I can fit, I will dominate. I will execute and it will be great.\”

Oba Femi\’s Dominant Main Roster Debut

Femi addressed his destructive Raw debut against The War Raiders and highlighted that his dominance was not a knock on the veteran tag team. He said:

\”I think the main roster crowd has not, the audience has not fully understood the concept that it\’s Oba. Like they don\’t get, I don\’t think they understand yet. They will, they\’ll catch on. They\’re starting to. Oba destroying the War Raiders is not a knock on the War Raiders. That\’s just how good Oba Femi is. Come on now. And the sooner they realize that, the sooner they understand that, the easier things will be for them.\”

Femi put the main roster on notice with his performance on the post-Royal Rumble edition of Raw when he demolished Erik and Ivar, continuing his run as WWE\’s hottest free agent. With momentum building and confidence sky-high, Oba Femi would be aiming to make a mark at the Elimination Chamber.

Two-time WWE Grand Slam Champion The Miz recently admitted that YouTuber-turned-WWE wrestler Logan Paul is doing his \”outsider\” gimmick. The A-Lister believes Paul is doing it better than most.

During his appearance on Six Feet Under with The Undertaker, The Miz highlighted how he joined WWE from the Real World when that path was heavily criticized, compared to today when YouTubers are more easily embraced. He further jokingly added that he felt someone else was \”stealing” his gimmick and pulling it off nicely. He said:

\”When he said, \’Yeah, I\’m an outsider,\’ I was like, I wonder who the first outsider was,\” The Miz said. \”I was on the Real World coming to WWE when it was hard to do that. Now you\’re a YouTuber and we applaud it, oh, he\’s in here. But our audience won\’t. But everyone else is like, yeah. But I was like, oh man, this dude\’s stealing my gimmick. And he\’s doing a really good job of it too.\”

Fastest Learner Miz Has Ever Seen

The Miz labeled the former WWE US Champion Logan Paul the fastest learner he has ever witnessed in WWE. He said:

\”Logan trained as well. But Logan was the fastest I\’ve ever seen anyone pick up WWE in my life. I\’ve never, and I like, I know I\’ve said this before, but it still blows my mind how good he is and how good he can be. I do feel he\’s the future of this business.\”

    Bad Bunny\’s Unmatched Commitment

The Miz also praised Bad Bunny\’s dedication during the pandemic era shows at the Tampa baseball field. The former WWE IC Champion said:

\”Bad Bunny, every time I would come to the show during COVID at the baseball field in Tampa, he was there early in the ring. Then he would go sing at the Grammys, he\’d be right back in the ring. He\’d go to SNL and he would have the 24/7 title, with that title in his arm. And I was like, man, this dude just loves what we do.\”

Bad Bunny\’s commitment also extended to his own car.

\”He let us spray paint his $500,000 car, real spray paint. And it was his idea. He goes, \’No, no, you spray paint.\’ I think it was like a Bugatti.\”

Bad Bunny, who took WWE by storm, is expected to return to the company for WrestleMania 42.

    Dominik Mysterio\’s Transformation

The Miz further highlighted Dominik Mysterio\’s heel turn as another example of next-generation talent thriving.

\”Dom has a baby face now. Like, can you even see it? Like, remember he was cleanly shaven, short hair, just a smile on his face. So young. So happy to be here. Now you look at him, he\’s just Eddie Guerrero. Just like a dirt bag.\”

  • The Undertaker Reveals Boneyard Match Moment He Knew He Was Done

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker recently described the exact moment he knew his in-ring career was over. During the Six Feet Under with The Undertaker podcast, \’The Phenom\’ recalled the early-morning hours of filming the Boneyard Match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36. Taker said:

\”I think I retired when I was 55. Those last few years for me were like a struggle. I was so envious of Shawn when he retired. Seeing the peace that he was in. My mind\’s eye had envisioned that match that I want to go out on. I want to go out on a five star, hang my six shooters up on the mantle, say kiss my ass, follow that, I\’m done.\”

    Honesty During the Pandemic

\’The Phenom\’ admitted that he hadn\’t been honest with himself regarding his physical limitations. He said:

\”I don\’t think I was really honest with myself knowing with the injuries and everything else that was going on that I wasn\’t gonna be able to do that.\”

The clarity came during the shoot of the cinematic Boneyard Match.

\”I think it\’s probably three or four in the morning and we\’re still shooting. And it hit me. It was like, dude, you\’re done. I still had another hour and a half of filming to do, but I knew when I walked off that set, I was like, yeah, I\’m done.\”

The Undertaker\’s Training for John Cena match at WrestleMania

Undertaker also recalled training \”like a maniac\” for his WrestleMania 34 match against John Cena, hoping to redeem himself after a disappointing outing with Roman Reigns.

\”I\’m thinking that right. I\’m not thinking story as much of I am redemption as far as my end ring. I get there and Vince goes, \’Yeah, three minutes.\’ I\’m like, what, excuse me. Three minutes.\”

\”I was in shape, I could have done, holding my breath, I bet I could have done 25 minutes,\” he continued. \”My whole motivation, which it should have been, you know what, Undertaker and John Cena, first time ever in at Mania. I\’m thinking, all I\’m thinking is like the last time you were in the ring, you stunk it up. My opinion. You stunk it up, I\’m gonna go out and show people I still got the motor.\”

The Undertaker is currently enjoying his retirement following a legendary pro wrestling career. He has also spoken openly about his retirement and wrestling career on his Six Feet Under episodes.

  • The Miz Reveals Six-Month Locker Room Exile Over Chicken Incident

The Miz recently reflected on one of the most difficult periods of his WWE career. He opened up about a six-month exile from the locker room stemming from a chicken incident.

During a candid conversation on Six Feet Under with The Undertaker, the A-Lister recalled eating a piece of chicken over someone\’s bag, which was then reported as him \”throwing chicken everywhere\” in the locker room. Here is what The Miz said:

\”I got yelled at probably the worst I\’ve ever been yelled at in my entire life. And then that night I went to Chili\’s and I got a gift card and I gave it to the person. Person that yelled at me goes, chewing on a straw, \’I think you need to be kicked outta the locker room just for live events.\’ Then the next day was TV. I see the person chewing his thing, \’Hey, you\’re kicked out of the locker room, TV and this.\’ It was like six months, I think it was even longer than that.\”

    The Miz\’s Backstage Struggles

The Miz explained that he was forced to change in broom closets and backstage areas during the exile. When the person who had the power to let him back in left the company, he had no way to return.

\”I would find places to go and then the person told me, \’You can come in when I tell you can come in.\’\”Something happened to that person and that person went away. And so I had no way of getting back in.\”

The story is part of a larger pattern of adversity The Miz overcame early in his career. He also discussed being labeled a \”no talent hack\” for coming from MTV\’s The Real World, surviving grueling conditions at Deep South Wrestling, and turning down his father\’s offer to be \”king of Cleveland\” to pursue wrestling instead.

    Unexpected Allies

Despite the hardship, The Miz noted that some veterans, like JBL offered support. He recalled:

\”JBL gets a lot of flack for like bullying and like, was an ass or whatever. It wasn\’t really him. He was the person that would take me aside and go, \’Hey kid, you\’re doing a good job. You know what? Keep doing this, keep doing this, do this, this, this, this and this and this, this. But keep it up.\’\”

The Undertaker himself endorsed The Miz during a Performance Center speech, with Vince McMahon present. According to the former WWE Champion, Taker said,

\”The Miz, he is the guy. Every last one of y\’all need to study what he is doing. He is the top heel, he is master.\”

  • Tyrese Haliburton Critiques John Cena\’s Heel Run

Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton recently shared his thoughts on 17-time World Champion John Cena’s heel run.

Earlier this year, John Cena embraced his dark side for the first time in 20 years. He turned his back on the WWE Universe and captured the Undisputed WWE title during the run. However, after five months, he switched back to being a babyface ahead of his Undisputed WWE Championship title defense against Cody Rhodes at WWE SummerSlam.

Cena dropped the title to Rhodes at the show and he has since been a babyface. During the debut episode of his Self Made Sessions podcast, Tyrese Haliburton said he wasn\’t a fan of the heel run but he enjoyed the pipebomb after the heel turn.

Haliburton wished that the turn was explained in a better manner. Tyrese Haliburton, who was in attendance at WWE SummerSlam, said that he was glad that John Cena returned to being a babyface and praised his match against Cody Rhodes.

    Tyrese Haliburton said:

“I was cool with it, but I’m glad we kind of just swung that to the wayside and we’re back to being a face. I was at SummerSlam obviously, and when the colors showed up, the pop was crazy, and I thought that that Cena/Cody match is the best match I’ve ever watched in person. I wasn’t necessarily a fan of the heel run but I enjoyed the pipebomb, I thought it was funny, he probably enjoyed it himself, like had fun doing it. I don’t know, I wish it was done a little different, like I wish we would’ve got him and Rock and a better explanation as to why he turned heel and I wish we coulda got a faction or something but, I’m just gonna pretend it never happened — he was a face the whole time. I went and watched him at SummerSlam. He was a face so, that’s what I’m rocking with.”

John Cena is currently gearing up to face Logan Paul at the upcoming WWE Clash in Paris 2025 which will take place at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France on August 31st, 2025. This match has drawn mixed reactions from fans as some expressed disappointment that his opponent is Logan Paul rather than other credible opponents.

  • Trick Williams Warns Undertaker Ahead of Their Face Off

TNA World Champion Trick Williams is not backing down from a confrontation with WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker. Moreover, he has now sent a stern message to \’The Phenom\’ ahead of their face off.

Last week on NXT, Williams confronted The Undertaker\’s WWE LFG rookies backstage. The rookies were excited after hearing their mentor would appear on the show but the champ was having none of it.

He shouted at them to move out of his way and bullied them. Williams also dismissed the rookies and said that they were wasting his time. Soon, The Undertaker warned Trick Williams on social media ahead of his appearance.

Now, while speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, the TNA World Champion addressed the beef between him and The Phenom ahead of NXT show Houston. He was asked what fans could expect from him, Trick Williams opened up on his recent confrontation with LFG rookies. He said:

“Man, I ain’t gonna lie. Now, this is where I gotta sit back and think about what I’m about to say ‘cause, you know, I’m face to face with The Undertaker. Now hey, growing up, Attitude Era super fan, you know what I’m saying? There’s one guy on that roster, man, hey, look—I was hoping I would never have to see, and that was The Undertaker.”

He then clarified that he won\’t back off just because he angered The Undertaker. Williams explained:

“But apparently I said a few things that ruffled his feathers, and you know, I talked about his LFG team… I ain’t tell a lie though, ‘cause you know Booker’s team—they holding it down over there, but we’ll talk about that later. But, you know, I see I pissed Undertaker off. And you know one thing about me is, I’ma say what I have to say and I’ma stand on what I believe in—and we’ll see where that take us.”

Trick Williams then took another shot at the legend, saying:

“If Undertaker come jumping stupid, it might be his last ride.”

Trick Williams isn’t interested in playing the respect game with legends. He is making his mark and daring anyone, even The Undertaker to step up. With Houston show on the horizon and tensions rising, the question remains how The Undertaker deals with the challenge.

  • Bully Ray Doesn\’t Believe WWE Women\’s Division Should Have Their Own Show

WWE Evolution 2025 PLE is in the history books. Following its success there have been talks of third installment of the show but wrestling legend Bully Ray thinks otherwise.

The former tag-team champion never holds back when it comes to sharing his thoughts. He has now opened up on WWE’s all-women pay-per-view series, Evolution.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, the WWE Hall of Famer stated that he believes the company should snub the idea of another Evolution PLE. Bully Ray reckoned that there was little promotion and build up to the show. Bully Ray felt that the buildup to Evolution 2 didn’t match the hype of major shows like AEW All In Texas or Saturday Night’s Main Event.

“We weren’t thinking Evolution because that was any disrespect to the women, to the warriors out there in the ring. It’s just that the build to Evolution didn’t feel like the build to Saturday Night’s Main Event, it didn’t feel like the build to All In, thus, we weren’t expecting that kind of show.”

Bully Ray further stated that WWE’s female wrestlers have already cemented their place on the main stage. Ray felt they have proven their worth and should be featured alongside the men on regular shows, and not separated into standalone events.

“I don’t think we need to single the women out anymore and give them their own shows, I think the women have proven themselves that they should have their segments, their matches, their promos on main shows because they belong as much as the men do.”

The inaugural WWE Evolution PLE took place back in 2018 and Evolution 2 aired this past Sunday. As per Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, there is also belief that people within WWE were “thrilled” with the 2025 Evolution PLE. Johnson stated the following:

“The feeling among those we spoke to is they’d ‘have to do’ another Evolution show after the excellent quality of the show last night, but there’s no set timetable as to if or when that happens – and those we spoke to made it clear nothing has been decided, just that in their opinion, it’s logical there would be another after the execution of last night’s show.”

We will have to see if there will be Evolution 3 in the coming years.

  • Who Coined Roman Reigns\’ New \’OTC1\’ Nickname

Former Undisputed WWE Champion Roman Reigns recently shocked fans when he returned on the latest edition of Monday Night Raw. This marks his first appearance on Raw since he was taken out on the night after WrestleMania. The company launched new merch for Reigns and fans noted his new nickname, \’OTC1\’

Now available on WWE Shop, the company has listed a brand new \’OTC 1\’ line of merchandise which includes t-shirts, a special glove set, and a custom world championship belt that has Reigns\’ face on it. The belt is $600 and the shirts at $35.

One fan on social media recently complained that Roman Reigns’ new nickname, “OTC1,” isn\’t making much sense and raised questions on who came up with the idea.

WrestleVotes responded to the fan and reported that Roman Reigns, whose real name is Joe Anoa\’i, came up with the name, saying, “Joe Anoa’i’s idea.”

Roman Reigns made his comeback to a massive ovation from the Birmingham crowd. In the main event of the show, CM Punk defeated Bro Breakker to earn a World title shot against Gunther at WWE SummerSlam.

Roman Reigns returned in the closing moments of the show as he came to the aid of CM Punk and Jey Uso. He took out Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. \”I still think there\’s a great chance to develop ROH. We really have done a lot of work to develop ROH. They are unique companies, structurally. I think that does make a lot of sense, and I still think there\’s merit to that, but there are also a lot of reasons why I\’ve positioned [ROH] the way I have. Ring of Honor, I still think we have a chance to strike at great opportunities.

Tony Khan also noted AEW\’s major media rights have positively impacted ROH. He feels that any major decision must make sense for both the promotions. He also praised ROH\’s current champions Athena and Bandido:

\”AEW has made huge media rights deals that have changed the landscape for all wrestling companies, including ROH, and any deal we do, it\’s got to make really good sense for everyone involved, including us at ROH and also AEW. So, that is something I\’ve considered… Right now, I think we\’ve done a great job positioning the company as leaders, with leading champions like Athena and Bandido.\”

  • Jeff Hardy Gets Candid About His Sobriety Journey

Jeff Hardy has candidly talked about his sobriety after a long battle with substances which led to multiple arrests.

A few years back, Hardy was arrested on a DUI charge. The arrest report revealed that Hardy could not complete any portion of the field sobriety tests, and that he blew a blood alcohol level of 0.291, which is well above Florida\’s legal limit of 0.08.

During a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Jeff Hardy spoke about his third DUI arrest and how that moment finally motivated him to get sober.

\’The Charismatic Enigma\’ reflected on hitting the rock bottom after years of struggles. He explained that his lowest moment came in 2022 when he was sitting alone in a jail cell following his third DUI arrest. It was the same arrest that put an end to his AEW run. The former WWE star admitted that he felt like being inside a nightmare:

“Rock bottom definitely for me would have been after the third DUI… in that cell… and not being able to wake myself up from a dream, because I’d had dreams about getting a third DUI. And that was definitely rock bottom for me. I didn’t know what was gonna happen, man. I was so afraid that everything was… I was just not gonna make it. Yeah… in that cell right after that third DUI.”

Jeff Hardy was then asked how long he has been sober, to which he replied:

    \”Three years, two days.\”

Jeff’s brother, Matt Hardy has been supporting him through the struggle and said that he was proud of his brother to finally overcome his demons. He said:

“His work on himself has been second to none… just the place he’s at in his life, I’m just so proud and so happy for him… because I’ve never… this is like the best version of Jeff Hardy personally I’ve ever seen that exists right now.”

  • John Cena Revives Hilarious Alter-Ego \’Juan Cena\’ In Mexico

John Cena recently embraced Mexican culture and brought back his iconic \’Juan Cena\’ gimmick.

The 17-time World Champion made an appearance at CCXP Mexico. During a conversation, the host gave John Cena a Lucha Libre mask and asked if he would bring back Juan Cena.

Initially, Cena laughed it out and thanked them for the Lucha Libre mask. He said that he was uncertain whether fans want him to wear it. He teased fans for sometime and eventually wore the mask. John Cena then hyped up the crowd before saying that wearing the mask made him feel like a different person.

Cena then told fans that they might remember a WWE character named Juan Cena, who was a masked wrestler.

    Origins of Juan Cena

John Cena had introduced his masked persona, Juan Cena during his feud with The Nexus back in 2010. After Wade Barrett \”fired\” Cena, he had a brief run as a luchador. Juan Cena claimed to be a distant cousin of John Cena, wearing a purple mask and made non-televised appearances.

Juan Cena would make his final appearance at a house show and ensured that Wade Barrett never become a world champion by involving himself in a three way match featuring then WWE Champion The Miz. Though Juan Cena never made it to television, it remains one of the most hilarious storylines in WWE.

  • Lyra Valkyria Open to Major Stipulation Match Against Becky Lynch: \’How good would that be\’

WWE Women\’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria is open to inflict more pain on her former mentor Becky Lynch.

Valkyria is already 2-0 against \’The Man\’ but their heated rivalry seems to be far from over. The first-ever WWE Women\’s Intercontinenal Champ was betrayed by her mentor Becky Lynch during the ‘Raw After WrestleMania 41.’ Lynch had attacked Valkyria after the pair lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. They went on to face each other at WWE Backlash PLE where Lyra Valkyria prevailed.

Speaking with Dublin Live, Lyra Valkyria was asked where this feud is heading, and where she draws the line. The 28-year-old wrestler doesn\’t seem to stop anytime soon. She said:

“Oh, no, there is no line. Really. I\’ve kicked Becky in the head a lot of times, but she still doesn\’t seem to have gotten the message. I\’ve now beaten her twice. So, the next thing to do is… I suppose I could beat her with some weaponry.”

As WWE is heading to Dublin for WWE SmackDown in August, Lyra was pitched about possibly facing Becky Lynch in a Dublin Street Fight match and she replied:

“How good would that be? It\’s Smackdown that\’s coming to Dublin on August 22 [Lyra is part of the Raw lineup] but I really hope I get to be a part of that one. You know, it\’s the first televised event coming live from Ireland. I\’d love to be a part of it!”

Lyra Valkyria has been on a meteoric rise and she has come a long way. It is needless to mention that she thrives on the constant challenges, but her feud with Becky Lynch has given a massive boost to her career. Lyra Valkyria has showcased her incredible in-ring skills and she has brought out her best with the mic in exchanges with \’The Man.\’

WWE SmackDown will take place in Dublin on August 22nd and it will mark the first-ever televised SmackDown to emanate from Dublin. We will have to wait and see if the street fight takes place at the show. But before that, the Irish brawlers will go head to head for the title at WWE Money In The Bank on June 7th.

  • Backstage Plans Behind Bronson Reed’s Alliance With Seth Rollins

Bronson Reed shocked fans with his return at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event when he joined forces with Seth Rollins, Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker. Some details have now emerged regarding the reason behind aligning with the group.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reflected on Bron Breakker joining Seth Rollins’ faction. He then highlighted the fact that Bronson Reed joining Rollins and co. adds a dimension to the group and makes it stronger.

Meltzer also reckoned that Bron Breakker is being built as a future WrestleMania main eventer and they would want to protect him. So, eventually when the group takes a loss, Bronson Reed could be the one. He explained:

“Yeah. I think it adds a dimension, and it makes the group even—it makes them even more of a strong group because also, the other thing with Bronson being there is that, you know, when you have the matches where they have to lose—and they probably won’t be doing much losing early on—but when you have those matches, you don’t have to beat Bron Breakker, who, you know, is obviously someone they have as a WrestleMania main eventer, whereas Bronson Reed is not going to be a WrestleMania main eventer. But, you know, I mean, he’s—he’s very good. He’s very good in his role.”

Reed had been on the shelf after sustaining an injury at Survivor Series: WarGames last year. Bronson returned during the tag-team match as CM Punk & Sami Zayn battled Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker. In the final moments of the match, Reed came out of nowhere and sent Punk through the barricade.

Sami Zayn was outnumbered before Breakker pinned him for the win. Following the match, Breakker and Reed had a staredown before Rollins hugged him. Reed and Breakker then shook hands. Reed hit a Tsunami on Punk to end the segment.
